Flipping Out – “A House Divided”

by BB

Jeff and his staff are at West Knoll.  Gage, Jeff’s partner, and Zoila, his housekeeper, live there of course.  Zoila cleans for Jeff three days a week and runs errands on the fourth day.  Jeff has kept Lupe to clean two days a week. He had hired Lupe to fill in when Zoila had her plastic surgery.  Lupe did such a good job, Jeff has kept her as an incentive for Zoila to keep up the pace.  Jeff admits it’s kind of cruel, but so far it’s working.  Jenni is back as Jeff’s full time assistant.  Vanina was hired to take Trace’s place.  Jeff has also hired another assistant, Andrew to take Sarah’s place.  Andrew is in his mid-thirties and, in order to keep his trust fund, he has to hold a full time job until he turns 45.  Of course Jeff is going to use that fact to his advantage.

Jeff and Jenni are in the car talking about Jenni’s upcoming engagement party.  She has finally become engaged to be married to her boyfriend Jonathan.  Jeff complains about having to buy her gifts again since this is her second marriage.  Jenni’s phone rings and she see it’s from someone about her party preparations.  She answers the phone as Deb, Jeff’s tough-talking assistant.  She takes a message for Jenni and tells the wine vendor that Jenni is a hot mess, but she’s got everything under control.  I love Jenni as Deb.
Jeff has bought a house he previously owned in Gramercy Park. He originally intended to do slight modifications before he and Gage moved in. However, it’s become a full blown remodel and will take a year instead of three months.  This is the longest he has taken to refinish a home.  It could be a full time job for Jeff, but he has other projects.

He’s still working with Jeanne Shaw on her main house.  He finished her house on Durand.  He’s also working on a home in Calabasas for his client Lisa.  He is finishing up the remodel in Spring Oak for Mike and Laura. That’s the residence where he had to fire the contractor and hire a new one.

Jeff’s not complaining about being busy, but he is stressing about getting Gramercy finished while working on all his other projects.  Gramercy will probably be Jeff and Gage’s permanent home where they will settle down and start a family.  Gage has taken over the project management of Gramercy.  Jeff keeps making changes, much to Gage’s frustration.  Gage just wants it finished already so they can move on with their lives and start a family.

Jeff checks on Spring Oak and of course, he is being anal-retentive about everything.  Gage and Jeff decide to play a trick on Andrew and scaring the crap out of him. It works as Andrew screams like a girl. Jeff likens his staff as being a fraternity and Andrew is going through the hazing phase.

Jeff and Jenni are in the car again and Jenni is talking about the wedding because she knows it drives Jeff crazy hearing about it nonstop.  Jenni gives just as good as she gets from Jeff.

Back at Spring Oak, Jeff tells Andrew the owners will be back in town in a week and he will have to stay there full time to make sure everything gets done because the owners plan on sleeping there instead of a hotel.

At Gramercy, Jeff decides to install a huge generator to cover for the rolling blackouts that occur there.  Gage thinks it’s unnecessary to have the generator.  They argue about where the generator is going to be installed.  Jeff is not used to having to compromise with someone else when it comes to his personal decisions.  If Jeff and Gage ever break up it will be over that generator.

Back in the car (again), Jenni asks Jeff if redoing Gramercy has put a strain on his and Gage’s relationship.  Jeff wonders where that question came from and Jenni says planning for the wedding has been stressful for her and Jonathan.  Jeff says yes, it has.  Jenni thinks Jeff has fears of whether he’s really ready for the whole house and children thing.

Andrew is at Spring Oak and he’s going over last minute things that must be done before the owners return.  This is Andrews’s first design job and he’s held a myriad of other jobs before.  There is a huge leak in the bathroom and Andrew has to go turn off the water main.  Andrew calls Jeff in a panic about it.  Of course water has flooded all over the bathroom, but it hasn’t gotten to the hardwood floors. Jeff thanks Andrew for the information and turns around from going to his appointment to check on what happened.  Jeff thinks Andrew blew things out of proportion.  Andrew is a nervous nelly and has only been there a week.

Back at West Knoll, Jeff asks Andrew if he’s going to Jenni’s engagement party.  Andrew says he wasn’t invited.  Jeff asks Vanina if she was, and she says yes.  Jenni is sitting right there and Jeff wants to call Jenni out on not inviting the whole office to the party.  Of course, Jenni says it’s OK for Andrew to come to the party.

Andrew and Jenni are cleaning the garage doors at Spring Oak.  Gage is inside getting things ready.  The owners arrive.  Jeff tells Andrew to be positive and not let the owners know what’s been going on at the last minute.  Mike and Laura, the clients, are very happy with the results of Jeff’s redesign.  Laura cries when she sees her walk in closet. It looks great and definitely has Jeff’s personal aesthetic. Jeff had a lot of fun doing it because he was given pretty much free reign to do whatever he wanted.  Jeff worries about Andrew maintaining his stress level, but for now he has done a good job and he’s safe.

Vanina tells Jeff she thinks the Generator location at Gramercy is bad.  He accuses her of being in cahoots with Gage, but she says she’s not.  While they are talking, Jeff notices the sprinkler system is not fixed the way Jeff wanted.  He orders Gage to call the landscaper to fix the sprinkler system and he wants a new gardener.  Gage tells Jeff not to assume he’s not been doing anything; he’s been working very hard and will take care of it.  Jeff thinks he and Gage are going to come to blows over the Gramercy house.

Jeff asks Zoila what she thinks about a certain wallpaper design for her room at Gramercy.  She thinks it looks nice, but Jeff asks Jenni what she thinks the design looks like.  Jenni just smiles.  Jeff whispers to Zoila the design looks like a vagina.  Zoila calls Jeff a pervert.  Jeff tells Zoila she doesn’t want hundreds of vaginas on her wall and she tells Jeff she would prefer penises.  I’m sure conversations like this are the norm around Jeff’s house/office.

Later at West Knoll, Jeff asks Nancy, the house assistant, to make everyone a shot of apple cider vinegar to boost their immune systems.  Nancy swears by it.  Nancy is a former client of Jeff’s and he hired her after Jett told Jeff he couldn’t work more hours and left.  Andrew makes a big production when drinking his vinegar shot.  He acts like a baby and runs into the bathroom to throw up.  What a drama queen.

At Spring Oak, Laura and Jeff take a walk-through to make a list of final items needing to be done.  Laura tells Jeff she and Mike have decided to stay up north and sell the Spring Oak house.  This surprises Jeff.
Andrew shows up all stressed out.  Jenni thinks he’s a worrier and wonders why in the heck he’s working for Jeff Lewis.  He should be working in a zen garden or a spa.

Back at West Knoll, Zoila and Jenni are singing “Don’t be Tardy for the Party” because Jenni’s engagement party is that night and Zoila is excited about going.  Everyone is at the party except for Jonathan.  Jonathan and Jenni have a long distance relationship because he’s from Chicago.  Jeff asks Jenni if Jonathan has cold feet because he’s not at the party yet.  Jeff is always teasing Jenni about Jonathan backing out of the wedding.  He finally shows up and everyone applauds.  He has a very nice looking boy next door quality.  Jenni makes a toast and it looks like Jeff might even get choked up a little.  Jeff thinks Jonathan has been worth the wait for Jenni.  Next, Jonathan makes a toast to Jenni and it brings a tear to my eye.  He’s a keeper!  Jenni hopes her happiness is an inspiration for others who have been through a divorce and don’t think they’ll find love again.  She says to never give up on love.

Jeff and Jenni are in the car again. They spend a whole lotta time in that car going from project to project.   Jeff calls Gage about Gramercy and they get into an argument about not putting tape on the floor because it will ruin the finish.  Jeff accuses Gage of being passive aggressive because he’s not getting his way.

Later Jeff and Gage are having a lunch meeting and have a discussion about things not working out.  Jeff thinks they need to talk about an exit strategy.  Jeff thought redoing Gramercy was going to be fun, but it’s starting to put a big strain on their relationship.  Jeff thinks they need to nip it in the bud.  Jeff asks Gage what he thinks about buying Spring Oak and living there and selling the Gramercy place.  Gage asks Jeff if he’s already bought Spring Oak and Jeff intimates the deal is done.

Gage is upset that Jeff didn’t include him in this decision.  He tells Jeff he loves Gramercy.  Jeff asks Gage what if someone came along and offered $3 million for Gramercy.  Sounds like Jeff has pretty much made up his mind and Gage is not happy.  I can’t say that I blame Gage.  They are supposed to be a couple and that should have been a joint decision.  I hope Jeff can adjust to the fact that he’s now part of a “we” instead of just “me.”

From the previews, it looks like Jeff hasn’t lightened up much.  Of course, when has Jeff ever really lightened up?  He’s Jeff Lewis.  This is one of my favorite Bravo shows.

We have 2 weeks of Dance Moms today

Dance Moms – August 28th

by Michigan Susan

First, I apologize for the delay! My computer crashed last week but I’ve borrowed a laptop and should be able to keep up. So sorry !!!

Pyramid

Bottom row: Paige (due to her injury), Brooke (hip hop wasn’t her thing) and Mackenzie (hip hop was over her head)

Middle row: Nia (because she won the most improved scholarship) and Chloe (because she did a good job)

Top row: Maddie (because she won the Junior scholarship)

Sadly, Kendall still isn’t on the pyramid. Jill says that Abby is torturing her and torturing Kendall.

Really, Jill? Why are you still there?

Abby said that the concert last week was a smashing success. Now they have 2 weeks to get ready for Nationals. But first, this week they are heading to California for the “ihollywood” competition.

Solos: Mackenzie, Nia, and Chloe

Group: everyone including Kendall

The group music is called “I see kites flying”. It’s another creepy piece by the same person who did “Where have all the children gone?” Same dark undertones but this time about kids in an insane asylum.

Nicaya and her Dance Mom Kiya arrive. The story is that since Nicaya is a student of one of Abby’s colleague’s in St. Louis, that Abby will take a look at Nicaya’s dancing. Then we hear Abby say that this will be a surprise that will wake everybody up. My own theory is that Lifetime totally fabricated this ridiculous story line for ratings. You choose the more plausible explanation.

Heaven help us. After hearing Kiya’s opinion about everything, I’m starting to actually like Jill.  I’m even beginning to miss Candy Apple Kathy!!! While sitting in the Dance Mom room, Kiya tells the other moms that the group needs more personality and “diva-tude”. Apparently, Kiya’s daughter Nicaya has diva-tude and a whole lot more.

As Kiya continues to expound on her daughter’s never-ending talent, we watch as Abby evaluates Nicaya’s skills. She doesn’t know ballet terminology. She has no gymnastic or acro skills.

Kiya continues to yammer on about how she’s a single mom with 4 kids from St. Louis. She had a wife but not anymore. Kiya has the name “Black Patsy” embroidered on a dance school jacket. We learn that the name is in reference to Patsy Ramsey, mother of beauty pageant winner (and murder victim) Jon Benet Ramsey. Apparently, Kiya thinks that Patsy was the ultimate stage mom.  What??? At this time, I know that Lifetime is screwing with our heads. Who would say something like that? It’s horrible. It’s not funny. Kiya disgusts me.

Back to the Dancers…

In a cute sister moment at home, Brooke and Paige are on their computer watching the hits on Brooke’s music video of “Summer Love Song”.  It’s a catchy tune and Brooke has a nice voice.

Nicaya says she prefers to be called Nini (nee nee).

Paige is worried that the doctor will make her wait 2 more weeks before she can dance again. When she is cleared by the doctor, it is with the understanding of limited dancing with no tricks.

Chloe’s solo is full of glitz and glamour; very new Hollywood according to Abby.

Kiya invites the other moms to lunch. Melissa asks about Kiya’s former wife and Kiya remarks that she’s getting a vibe from Melissa because she’s a little too friendly.

Nia is performing to a Josephine Baker scat.

Abby gyrates around to demonstrate a move. Not a pretty sight.

Drama ensues:  Abby puts Nicaya in the group number in Paige’s spot. Kelly storms out. Christi argues with Kiya. Kiya refers to Kelly’s kids as “Broke Back Brooke and Pegleg Paige”. What a horrible, vile woman. She’s seriously making Jill look like an angel.

Abby invites Nicaya to go to California with the group but not necessarily to dance…Abby hasn’t decided yet.

Competition:  iHollywood

Solo perfomances:

Nia: so beautiful, simple, clean, fabulous, a mini-goddess; she gets 10th in Jr. Solos

Chloe: edgy but is needing more complicated choreography; she gets 5th place in Jr. Solos

Mackenzie:  sassy attitude and energetic; she gets 3rd place in mini-solos

Group: Abby finally announces that all the girls (including Nicaya) will perform. I found the group dance to be a little odd. Nicaya, in spite of all her mother’s claims, was not outstanding in any way. But the group takes 1stplace with the overall high score

Back in the dressing room, Kiya goes ballistic and offends everyone. She tries to play the sister card with Holly who would have none of that. Kiya calls the mothers (mostly about Kelly) liars and bitches. She’s exhausting and obnoxious. She needs to go. Please Lifetime, stop the insanity.

Dance Moms 9/4—The Road to Nationals

by Michigan Susan

Pyramid

Bottom row: Kendall (back on the team; needs to improve technique)

Paige (coming off injury; performed well)

Brooke (didn’t finish the group number with the other girls)

Maddie (blended in; should stand out)

Middle Row: Nia (handled solo well)

            Chloe (needs to be consistent)

Top Row:  Mackenzie! (was 3rd in her division)

The girls and the Dance Moms are still in LA this week. They will be having dance rehearsals at Millenium Dance Studio. Abby complimented the girls on their behavior and kindness towards Nicaya. Abby then chastised the moms for behaving badly to Kaya and said they ran Kaya and Nicaya off…causing Abby to lose another student. Abby tells the girls that they will be attending the In10sity (that must be the way they spell “intensity” in California LOL) Dance Competition and Abby will use this competition to determine who gets a solo at Nationals.

Solos for this week: Mackenzie, Chloe, Paige, Kendall, Nia, and Brooke. What? No Maddie? Melissa prods Maddie to ask about a solo. Abby tells Maddie to toughen up, that she won’t get every part she auditions for. Maddie is in tears. Poor kid. Still getting punished for not doing a solo when Abby wanted her to compete (beat) Justice of the Candy Apples a few weeks ago.

Towards the end of rehearsal, Melissa stands up and announces that she and the girls need to go out and disappears. Christi says her liar radar went off when Melissa left so abruptly with no explanation. We then see Melissa taking her girls to the MSA agency, a talent agency that will be helping Maddie and Mackenzie get commercial work.

Kelly announces that she has arranged for a professional recording of Brooke’s song and asks the girls to sing the back up music. The girls are thrilled.

Maddie asks Abby, yet again, for a solo. This time Abby tells her that Maddie let her down. She told Maddie that she needs to want it, work for it and prove that she deserves it.

Abby decides that she wants to make a music video of Brooke’s song. They go out with a hand held camcorder and dance around LA.  Brooke says that Abby was sucking the fun of it. Maddie said that dancing in the street in LA was the best day ever.

Maddie asks AGAIN for a solo. Abby says she needs to show she still has the ambition and gives Maddie a lyrical solo. Thank goodness. I thought the kid was going to have to go on medication if Abby said no.

At the In10sity Dance Competition (what a dumb name)

Mackenzie: another adorable acro dance but for a few seconds FORGETS her dance. Melissa yells from the crowd to keep going and Mac recovers quickly. Later Mac says she’s worried that Abby will be mad L

Kendall: She did a nice job but I hated the big lips on her costume top. The ending was cute and she had lots of personality on stage. Kendall says she wanted to show Abby what she could do.

Nia: a cute, energetic 60’s inspired dance. Nia always has great attitude and presence on stage

Maddie: beautifully choreographed with her signature spins and expressive face

Her mom Melissa was beside herself with emotion afterwards. She yelled “Beautiful!” several times and thanked Abby for Maddie’s fabulous dance.

Chloe: lovely contemporary dance. Chloe’s mom Christi is very frustrated about the pressure Abby is putting on the girls since this performance determines if they get a solo at Nationals.  Chloe was proud of her performance but is worried about her chance to get a solo.

Paige: prior to her solo, Abby tells her to forget about the pain for 2 minutes and get through it. Later, Abby says that Paige needs more time to heal. During the dance, Paige forgot a bit of it and cries afterwards. She’s also in a lot of pain. Kelly says this is too much pressure on the girls.

Brooke: beautifully performed, hit all her acro tricks.

RESULTS:

Mackenzie:  1st place in Elite Mini with highest overall score

Chloe: 6th place in Elite Junior

Kendall: 5th place in Elite Junior

Maddie:  1st place in Elite Junior with highest overall score

Brooke:  4th place for Teen Solo

Whew! Kaya and Nicaya are gone. Glad to see them go. AND happy days are here again because crazy Candy Apple Kathy will be back next week! Can’t wait.

(Anderson will feature Abby Lee Miller on Friday.  Tune in to see what she has to say. NMD)

Dance Mom Holly has a website with some photos of the girls rehearsing.  Cute.   http://staree.com/dancemomholly/13468165935104411

Housewife News

Aviva Drescher continues to make news after the explosive Real Housewives of New York on Monday.  In new video interviews, she explains that she’s no longer speaking to Ramona  Singer and her “puppet” Sonja Morgan.  This should be an exciting reunion with all the bickering that’s gone on with this cast.  Let’s just hope they don’t overtalk each other and drive viewers away like the S4 Cast.

Caroline Manzo is tweeting about “looking for an apartment” according to wetpaint.  I guess that love nest in the Brownstone isn’t as great as she told us it was.

Melissa Gorga has released new cover art for her single – “I Just Wanna” on twitter.  No news on when the actual single will be released – but I’m guessing before the show finishes airing so that she can promote it.

Her first single – On Display – continues to be a show stopper.

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!!!
    Great blogs
    Blessings,
    Diana

  2. COCFarm says:

I think you should add avivas comment about rush limbaugh’s apology to the poll. That was the most telling comment from her. The other can be chalked up to ‘heat of the moment’ but that can not. She seems to have it out for her gender. She probably can never come back from that comment as far as I’m concerned.

    • I thought Carole really nailed her in her blog. Ramonacoaster will be doing that for us later this week. Making a comment like that – is really telling, My jaw just about hit the ground.

    • PJ says:

I don’t see it as a heat of the moment thing I see it as who Aviva really is. Saying it was a heat of the moment thing is excusing Aviva, enabling her if you will. People have probably enabled her in her horrific behavior all her life and that may be why she is so vile and venomous. I don’t think Aviva was really out of control I think she was just being herself. Notice it was daylight when the plane landed and totally dark when Aviva and Reid showed up at the house, it looks like some hours may have passed between landing and arriving. Aviva had time to calm down from the plane ride, so why blame that for her vileness. All these months later and Aviva does not own her disgusting behavior rather she is still blaming others; in my opinion this must mean that Aviva feels that she has the right to attack others, spew her venom all over them, hurt their feelings, and still Aviva seems to feel no remorse.

      • COCFarm says:

I’m not excusing or enabling her, I’m just making my point with what I feel is the cleanest evidence of all her bad behavior for the poll question. That was the worst, imo.

        • Called A Princess... says:

I think that Aviva is not a professional reality star. She is in way over her head. She can either catch up or leave the show. She made some big mistakes on the trip, but she she is not alone. Some of the others she really know better. Sonja is a Slippery Sleazy Snake and can not be trusted any more then LuLu. Both Ramona and Aviva are unstable and can not hide it but also seem to work each other into a frenzy, with a little help from their friends. The only one I really feel sorry for is Carole because she can not be understate for long with this group of girls. JMHO.

        • PJ says:

Just giving my opinion that Aviva has probably been excused all her life for her vile behavior and never has been made to own it so I don’t think she deserves a pass.

          • COCFarm says:

I don’t either. I also think she’s not all that stable.

            • djloopsfruit says:

i cant believe even now no one got exactly what that comment meant
it wasnt saying she is a fan of Rusha s so many here keep seeming to think all it meant was that the apology given was as SINCERE as the one Rush gave
              its called sarcam
how is it i got what she meant the second she said it and this blog has decided she is the new one to attack non stop as if she was another Shrill Zarin

  3. Powell says:

Good morning. I feel asleep and missed just about all of FlippingOut and didn’t get to chat. 😦 Oh well. You have a good day. 🙂

  4. Powell says:

Ha! In the poll Aviva and LuAnn are neck and neck. I picked Aviva but I also wanted to pick LuAnn as both were totally uncalled for. They both deserve the award.

    • BB made up the poll this time. It’s a tough one to answer – but you can vote more than once. I also think Carole didn’t need to go there. TMI.

      • Powell says:

True. I was thinking that too.

      • LaineyLainey says:

I voted for Carole’s comment as “shouldn’t have gone there.” The Princess is so funny, but she crossed the line this once. It’s something I wish I didn’t do, but it’s something that I do, do. (cross the line) It happens. But usually everything comes out ok in the end.

        • Lisa Renee says:

Lainey, that is so funny, I voted for carol also. It is classic pot meet kettle because I tend to say the most inappropriate TMI stuff all the time. But, when my daughter says to me “did you know Sonja likes it in the butt”, I have to vote for carol, Lisa

          • Powell says:

LOL Lisa. Your daughter said that? 🙂

            • Lisa Renee says:

Hi Powell, yes she did & she is sorry she did, I had quite a few comments to add. My daughter was quick remind me that I taught her years ago “exit only” & ended the concersation as quickly as possible. I tell her all the time, don’t mess with the master, no matter how you try to shock me it will be her chin on the floor from my comebacks. Lisa

          • LaineyLainey says:

L’Renee: I see you caught my oh-so-mature humor, too! 🙂

            • Lisa Renee says:

Lainey, out of all the things to catch….humor is the safest. You are truly very funny & witty 🙂 Lisa

        • COCFarm says:

Lainey…your last sentence could be interpreted a different way given the subject. Teehee.

      • Trudie says:

My question is why did Heather walk into Sonja’s bedroom? That’s the only way she could know what was going on.

        • LaineyLainey says:

…and when Heather walked in did she exclaim:” HOLLA!!!!!” ?

        • Trudie – I’ve been wondering that too. I think she actually said she walked in – when things were happening. Jeesh. At least Sonja turned the mic off and sent the camera crew away.

        • The Tin Man says:

IIRC, Heather said she heard some noise coming from a bedroom not being used by one of the housewives, so she went to check it out, and that’s when she saw Sonja doing the nasty with Tomas.

          • Shiny says:

If you heard a noise in an “unused bedroom”, would you just walk in? It was either going to be a hired servant, a producer, or a housewife making noise….and you don’t own the house and it isn’t your bedroom! The only other possibility was the monsters living there in secret, cue scary music, and any movie buff knows not to go into that room.

            • MamaZ says:

Shiny – LOL, but just like with the horror movie if she didn’t go into the room we wouldn’t have a gruesome sight!

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I would NOT walk in, but I am not a nosey person. Heather probably IS nosey. So, that is why she walked in and got treated to that lovely sight.

        • Eastbayca says:

She not only walked in but apparently she went further in and inspected which hole it was…..now that is just trashy.

          • LaineyLainey says:

Earlier, someone posted that Sonja smelled of desperation. I suppose Heather, what with her inspection and all, can probably confirm or deny that.

          • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

You know what, Eastbay, that is an EXCELLENT point! I mean, how CLOSE did Heather GET to Sonja and Tomas to figure out which “entryway,” shall we say, was being used? And, if she was able to get that close, why did Sonja and Tomas either stop what they were doing for a moment or just continue what they were doing as they screamed at Heather for her to get her butt outta there?!?

The only possibility is that Sonja and Tomas were enjoying themselves and so much “in the heat of the moment” that they could just not stop themselves, I guess.

        • RealHousewifeVA says:

On twitter Heather claimed she didn’t see that happening, just before it I guess while Sonja and Tomas were still just ‘hanging out’

      • plainviewsue says:

I wish you could vote All Of The Above!!!!

      • I agree about Carole’s comment – but I just had a thought… Sonja said she like it “doggie style,” and I don’t think doggies are confuse about which opening to use. So, was Heather looking closely enough to discern which one? The mind reels.
Heather should learn about knocking and keeping her mouth shut, and Carole messed up on this one. Sonja? I smell desperation.

        • MamaZ says:

I thought that too pB but then tried to get the image out of my mind.
Sonja is desperate and it is not attractive. I wonder if Aviva is angry that Sonja wouldn’t hook up with her dad but had a one night stand with Phony Depp.
I am as tired of Sonja’s sex talk as I am of George’s.

          • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

George vs. Faux Johnny Depp. Hmmm…..I am not saying that the battle between these two men is like the battle between George Clooney and Brad Pitt, but if Aviva has a problem with and cannot understand Sonja choosing to have sex with Faux Depp over George then this lets me know FOR SURE that Aviva is indeed NUTS!!

            • MamaZ says:

It’s still a tough call for me. On the one hand the fake Depp is younger so his body would be better, on the other hand being a star f**ker is bad enough but being a impersonator f**ker is pathetic!

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

This was one of the toughest polls, IMO, because like many of you, I wanted to pick more than one. I ended up picking Aviva, but I had to think long and hard about it because I was torn between her and LuAnn. Carole’s reveal was 3rd on my list of the worst offenses on “Slutty Island.”

  5. designernailsdiana says:

Oops forgot to add. Jeff was asking Jenni about Gage and the garden problems “Why isn’t he on the gardener? He should be on the gardener!”
I just about died laughing. Umm Jeff isn’t Gage your partner? Shouldn’t he be on you or vice a versa?
I’ll watch Abby & Brittany tonight and blog them for tomorrow if anyone wants to hear about them.
    Again Hugs,
    Diana
P.S. I beat Powell to be first poster!!!

  6. Boobah says:

Good Morning everyone. I LOVE the polls! What a great idea. The ‘Who Should Have Not Gone There’ poll is a tough one…but anything LuAnn does or says IMO is problematic. I mean, it could say, “Luann said hello to the other ladies” and I would think, Whatta B*tch, she should Not have gone there! Lol!

  7. Tracy Shea says:

Hey there! Have Flipping Out and Dance Moms on my DVR so can’t comment but have a good day everyone! Looks like rain in Minneapolis.

    • designernailsdiana says:

Tracy I’m in Hopkins lol we might get sprinkles here.
So cool someone from the blog lives near me.

  8. Putchka says:

Morning everyone… Again, thanx to all the ppl who have kept this blog alive. It’s one of the best so I’m going to comment more often instead of just lurking. OK, Aviva. Jeesh what a mess. Extolling her great educational background then quoting Rush Limbaugh? Never, ever brag about having class (paging Luanne). It shows you don’t have any. She’s just as crazy as Kelly but not as interesting. Koo koo crazy is better than koo koo boring/buzz kill. But I must admit she’s got a banging bod. I like her husband, how does he put up with her neurosis? Come on, her kid is afraid of a merry-go-round. Someting about his penis being cut off by an errant unicorn or mermaid. Statistically, it could happen…

    • COCFarm says:

Agree! Her other quote that made me laugh out loud had to do with the flight when Reid said ‘float’ and aviva said “float insinuates ‘crash'”. Seriously, Reid can’t win! I’d love to see a copy of the dictionary inher head!

    • LaineyLainey says:

FUNNY post, Putchka! “paging Luann” ^^^^ I love it. Others have mentioned that perhaps Reid enjoys the role of protector (enabler) or playing “daddy.” who knows, but I actually don’t find her boring. I find her, warts and all, quite interesting. If she had no “warts” perhaps she would be boring to me. I agree, the Rush Limbaugh thing was bad. But you know, that’s who she is and she should own it. She said in her blog that it was a “silly” comment. Rush Limbaugh’s rhetoric is not in the least bit silly (IMO), I find his rhetoric to be hypocritical, cruel and borderline dangerous. But this is a free country, thanks be to God, and we’re all entitled to express our opinions whether or not they are popular. Even Rush. Even Aviva. Even I. I enjoyed reading yours.

      • Putchka says:

Just want to say Lainey, always look forward to your comments. Along with the other long-timers (Mel, NMD, etc.). I rarely burst out laughing, but do here. Thanx again, love this place. And hey, love the publicity this site is getting, little by little. I think you’ve got the makings of a major “social media” site. I’ll be along for the ride!

        • LaineyLainey says:

Hi Putchka! Thank you for your gracious comment. I completely agree with you, this is a great site. It (the quality & tone) started at the top, with Lynn of course, and the quality trickled down to what it has become today. The folks who have continued Lynn’s work are a true marvel. We are so fortunate to have them…and this.

        • plainviewsue says:

Welcome Putchka!!!! Look forward to reading your comments 🙂

          • Putchka says:

Hi Sue, always enjoy your comments. Caught you on WWHL and everyone here congratulated you. It was so cute and funny. I remember you saying Long Island, hey, I’m from Patchogue. If that’s the Plainview you’re talking about. Thanx for the welcome!

      • Boobah says:

Lainey, I agree. Although I am kinda on the fence with Aviva. But she sparks my interest. The Limbaugh comment was outrageous IMO. And I was bothered by her facial expression when she said it. I feel for her regarding some of her issues at this point but that could very well change as the season unfolds.
I am also on the fence with Heather. I think Carole is great but her TMI comment wasn’t called for.
Overall, I am enjoying NY. It seems lighter than past seasons.

        • MamaZ says:

I think Aviva could be really interesting if she stopped trying to tell Ramona, Sonja and even Heather how to behave. Since she brought up her many phobias I’d like to see how she is trying to fix them. There are a lot of people with similar issues, she has the potential to be inspirational instead of just another b****y Housewife.

          • Boobah says:

I agree that she should stop telling others what to do. Anxiety, particularly panic disorder, is a tricky beast. Has she actually said that she has phobias, I don’t remember? I know she said panic disorder. I’m curious because they are not one in the same. If she suffers from both – holy hell that is tough. I wonder what types of treaments she has tried. I also wish she would discuss what she does to help herself. She should have much more supports/calming techniques and tools outside of her husband. I find that very alarming. What if something happened to him?

            • kidsrfunny says:

And why the hell would you sign up for a reality show in NYC if you are afraid of elevators and heights? Remember the get-together Heather planned and they were in some space several floors up? Aviva was the only one there with her husband. Remember Heather had to hold her hand to help her onto an elevator? All housewives shows include travel. Aviva has trouble with small planes AND she gets sea sick (so no boats). Oh….but she can make it to Miami to her condo which is how many floors up?What did she think they were going to film her doing?

She said, “I don’t need Xanex, I just need my husband!” I beg to differ, but I don’t happen to have an M.D. at the end of my name.

              • kidsrfunny says:

Ooops, sorry. I think Carol may have planned that get together.

              • Boobah says:

I dunno, maybe she was trying to force herself to face her fears? Maybe she was leveled out but this show triggered her anxiety? Or maybe she isn’t quite as bright or as self aware as she needs to be. No matter what, its a shame that she doesn’t speak up more about it. I wish she would because I would be interested to see how other people handle their anxiety issues.

            • MamaZ says:

Boobah – I may have mispoke. I’m not sure if Aviva has phobias in addition to her anxiety disorder. But she is afraid of flying, afraid of heights, afraid of elevators, afraid of boats. I just assumed they were phobias.

              • Boobah says:

Hi MamaZ – Oh no…I’m sorry. I have just been curious for a while about what exactly ails Aviva and if it goes beyond panic disorder. I have tried to look it up but can’t find anything specific. I happen to agree with you that she has a really good opportunity to be inspirational but so far it’s not working out that way.

                • Chicago Diane says:

Your points are very well taken, though- on the one hand she can fly to Miami and be in her high rise apartment there anytime. But not in small planes, not in elevators-? it all appears to be inconsistent, and sporadic, doesn’t it?

                  • Boobah says:

Hi ChicagoD, Panic Disorder is sporadic and extremely inconsistent. It can come out of no where. Its irrational. I tried to find out if Aviva has additional issues…but found nothing. I think all she mentioned is Panic Disorder, which is bad enough. But I think her personality is not that great. But as of yet, I can’t tell whats panic and whats her personality. Right now I think she is spolied and entitled. But I feel bad that she has to deal with panic. So I’m torn and holding out my full opinion. I can’t place my finger on exactly what bothers me yet! 🙂 Its definitely inconsistent that shes okay with her Dad’s behavior yet frowns upon Sonja’s. And it is very alarming that her Hubby appears to be her only coping mechanism! Imagine if he left her? Christ! Could she survive?

    • Trudie says:

Congratulations for coming out of lurkdom! Hope you post more often.

      • Called A Princess... says:

I think panic disorders and phobias are more about the fear of loss of control. The home and view, Aviva has in Florida, does not change very much, so the loss of control is not apparent. The roof top view at a unfamiliar bar is an uncontrolled environment. Now if she was there during a hurricane, I think we would see her go Ape S#@t. Then people would have other reasons for thinking that she is crazy. I do not think that she is faking her problems, if anything, I think she embraces them, as her little extra family members. IMHO.

        • Trudie says:

I agree that she seems to embrace them. It is a shame because she certainly isn’t setting herself up as a role model for people who have also gone through horrific accidents.

          • Called A Princess... says:

Not everybody can be a great role model. Really, it can be very hard work! Aviva should probably not be on a reality TV show. She is to fragile and has a low opinion of herself. She is too afraid of the world. When I look into her eyes, all I see is fear. JMHO.

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I agree with you that she should probably not be on a reality show.

However, I respectfully disagree with you in some ways. I think she has a VERY high opinion of herself (hence, her entitlement issues).

I do think she has some fears, but then there is this other side of her that is MEAN LIKE A COBRA (Kelly Bensimon also had this VERY, VERY MEAN STREAK that would manifest itself whenever she was having one of her little “episodes”). THIS side of her does not seem fearful at all. In fact, when she gets in this state, it’s like she is PUSHING FOR A SERIOUS ASS WHIPPING!! I mean, she gets all up in people’s faces and says the most vicious things. She gets AGGRESSIVE. AGGRESSIVE AVIVADIVA does NOT look fearful at all when she is that state.

Let’s put Aviva in Jersey or Atlanta and see just how WELL that would go over, CAP!! She is already missing one leg. Somebody needs to tell her if she pulls that mess in the wrong neighborhood, she damned sure will be missing the OTHER one if she does not KNOCK THAT SH*T OFF!!

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I think they are about the loss of control as well. I agree with you that she embraces them, but I see that as a problem.

I think she embraces them because she can use them to manipulate those around her. JMHO.

          • Called A Princess... says:

Degree’s of the mentally ill? I want to laugh, but… I can not get real excited when I hear the darn-est things come out of the mouths of all these Bravo diva’s. Ramona is a poker who likes to turn around and say she did nothing. Which is pretty trashy. She also likes to team up against people and then call herself strong and independent. Madhouse smoke and mirrors from miss boozy bossy pants. Ramona was still louder then Aviva. The crazy we know! Ramona does not want to be treated the way that she treats others. I wonder why Heather leaves next week. Does the madhouse mirror shatter into bits and pieces, too many pieces to safely clean up? JMHO.

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Oh, I agree that Ramona is crazy. I’ve always said that; however, IMO, Ramona is fun/manageable crazy, not SCARY crazy (like Kelly….and like, I fear, Aviva). I typed up a very detailed list of EACH of the NY Housewives’ eccentricities and, yes, CRAZINESS in yesterday’s blog (except for Carole and Heather, who I do not think are crazy, but those are about the only 2 that are NOT). I’ve said Ramona has rudeness and inappropriate Tourette’s, but I just do NOT think Ramona is as crazy and as MEAN as Aviva. Sorry. No offense. Shrug.

  9. JazzNightOut says:

Just have to say: I love Jeff Lewis. Didn’t say I think he is always right, but his show lets me laugh out loud. Love Jenni, Zoila and Gage too! Glad Flipping Out is back although I did enjoy Jenni and Jeff as remedial designers too.

    • MamaZ says:

Agree, he makes me wince sometimes but I laugh more.

    • Mary E says:

I love Jeff too. Glad he’s not straight or I might have a major crush on him.

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I love Jeff too. He has flaws, but he is honest about them. He can be difficult. He can sometimes say mean things. But he owns it, and he sometimes even apologizes. I think he has a good heart. So, that is why I love him despite all of his baggage.

I love Jenni and Zoila too.

I have not yet made up my mind about Gage.

      • MamaZ says:

I like Gage too, I just don’t think he’s as comfortable on camera as Jeff, Jenni and Zoila. So he comes off a little reserved. But he must have a great sense of humor to spend so much time with Jeff.

    • Trudie says:

If Jeff and Gage are using the same therapist as Taylor and Russell, it does not bode well for them!

  10. Got this tweet from New Miami Housewife

    AnaQooks Ana Quincoces
“@nmdlynnfam: @anaqooks Are you excited for the show to start? #rhom” Can one feel excited and scared shitless at the same time. #yikes

    • mardrag26 says:

Wow…this is pretty cool NMD! They are coming to you to make sure they get PR and written about on the blog. You’re a superstar darlin’! 🙂

      • I think she was just being nice. But thanks 🙂

        • mardrag26 says:

          You’re too modest! LOL!

          • Chicago Diane says:

You are each too modest- I have been tied up at work on a project and unable to be here, enjoying the comments. I really missed being able to read all your thoughtful /sarcastic/charming/kind/critical judgement/intelligent/relevant and real comments.

I did not see the publicity- pls share- so sorry to have to bother you but would love to see it!

I could not believe Aviva the othe rnight- so ridiculously self-centered, imperial, rude, thoughtless; to think they should hold a party and run a red carpet because she wanted to be in on the taping- that sounds just like illzy to me- but even she would not dare say it- this one is at a whole new level of self-importance!! Reid must have something deeply motivating him to put up with- let alone stay with- anyone that deranged.

But also how disgusting and desperate of Sonya and Luann! I do not understand- if either of them had any sense of discretion, intelligence, or personal hygiene- they would never have encouteresd Tomas- talk about the guy who has been with everyone- just think of the germs, let alone anything else. If Sonya ever hoped to be appealing to any one who is older/wealthy , she lost it there.

I do sincerely thank each of you who has been kind, generous, welcoming- it was very special to go through Lynn’s death with this exceptional group of people(on the outskirts) – not that I could compare for an instant the experience to any of you- but it has been compelling to realize how you each have reached out and done all you could to keep Lynn’s world and work alive- for all involved- and how much additional work it has meant for so many of you. The level of talent-as referenced above- really is there- and is much appreciated. Thanks very much from a former lurker.

    • NMD…Tres’ cool!!!!!!

      • MamaZ says:

Imperial is the perfect word to describe Aviva!

And Lainey you are easily one of the funniest people on the blog. Although Rabble usually mangaes to make me laugh too. I love reading the posts from you two.

        • Lisa Renee says:

ITA!!! About Lainey, RR & chicago Diane using the word imperial. It jumped off the page at me & by the comments I was not the only one. lisa

  11. AZGirl says:

Good morning everyone! I was going back and forth from Flipping Out to the DNC. Love Gramercy. It is a beautiful home but I am with Gage. Enough. It almost become an obsession with Jeff. One year of renovations would have my nerves frazzled.
Convention was great last night. Loved the speakers. Loved Michelle Obama.
Hope everyone has a great day!

  12. Lady Chatterley says:

Sonja is Ramona’s puppet? What a nasty thing for that woman to say. I haven’t heard them say a single derogatory thing about her in the press – why is she out there throwing bombs at them? Reminds me of another former HW, who tried to make her claim to the spotlight by casting shade on her colleagues – didn’t work out so well for her….

    • mardrag26 says:

      Clapping loudly!

    • Sonja did a piece early on about Aviva only supporting charities for the show. I remember because Silex called her on it. I think trouble runs deep between Aviva and her castmates. Or they are doing it for ratings.

      • MamaZ says:

I think both Ramona and Sonja have made a couple of mild remarks against Aviva. But I don’t think they much care about Aviva and that is the root of the problem.

They were wrong not to attend the charity spin class. Ramona was not having Mohs surgery, she was getting a peel or something. She could have scheduled it for a different time. And while I sympathize with Sonja having a sick dog I suspect that Aviva was right in that if it involved a party, drinks or men Sonja would have attended in spite of her dog’s illness.
But Aviva lost me when she went off the women for not showing up. It was fine to tell them of her dissappointment but she actually DEMANDED that it not happen again. Much like she DEMANDED that they thank Reid over and over and over…….

        • jules says:

I agree MamaZ. I was okay with Aviva being upset about the charity function even though I thought she overreacted but the Reid thing! OMGosh, why is it everyone else’s responsibility to bow down and thank Reid? She is the one with the issues, not them so she should be thanking him. Besides the fact, they all offered to help her through the flight themselves. Aviva went there looking for a fight and she was going to have one no matter what she had to do. All she did was make herself look stupid. Sad…..

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I too understood Aviva’s upset at Ramona and Sonja’s failure to attend her charity event. I did NOT, however, understand the over-the-top reaction she displayed when she expressed her disappointment to them, though.

          • MamaZ says:

Me either. She is too “imperial” for my taste.
Thank you Chicago Diane for the word of the day!

            • JustDee says:

              Imperial. Love it!
We should get her one of those margarine crowns. 😆

              • Called A Princess... says:

People, I think there is a whole section of the arrival/ fight scene that is missing. When the small plane landed in St. Where Ever. The sun was high in the sky. By the time Aviva and Reid arrived at the compound, it was very dark. Also on other sites, it is rumored that Ramona invited Mario after she found out about Reid coming, and that Mario declined to, which cause a small fight between the two. Mario also allegedly called Aviva and Reid before they let NYC, to tell them that he felt it was a Bravo set up for major conflict. Aviva never wanted to go on the trip but knew that Bravo would not like that she had not gone on two trips in one season. It would seem now, that Kel Kel was stating some truth about the trip to Scary Island. They did not tell her she absolutely had to go, but it was well know that if she did not go, her contract might be in major jeopardy for the next season. So I think Cohen was playing fancy feet, with the truth concerning Kel and the trip. He has no shame. If it is true then he was playing with an unstable woman’s reality, on national TV. Fun to watch, but not very nice! IMHO.

                • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I love Ramona, but Mario probably did not want to go because he was with his girlfriend (shrug).

        • klmh says:

I read somewhere that the timeline was wrong on those scenes, with months separating the true events before the cycling charity and Ramona and Sonja’s excuses. I’ll try to find it and post down thread…

  13. Lady Chatterley says:

Teresa is sounding threatened by Melissa. Melissa is perfectly capable of coming across as a joke all on her own – Teresa pointing it out in the press just makes her sound jealous.

    • RealHousewifeVA says:

I agree. I like Teresa but she shouldn’t go around saying she is the star of the show. Let others come to that conclusion on their own.

      • LaineyLainey says:

I agree RHVA…that’s a great way to create bad Karma for yourself. Karma bites hard, Tre!!

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I agree. I mean, Melissa’s singing and her singing “career” are a complete joke, IMO. Teresa should not say that out loud in the media, though.

        • Called A Princess... says:

LOL… Teresa is just being honest. They are always calling her a liar. I think sometimes the truth should hurt. At this point I would like to see Teresa do a parody of the opening scene of the movie version of ‘The Sound of Music’, Singing her own virtues for the world and New Jersey to hear. Bravo could make it a commercial that they played every hour while the Jersey season is on. I think Caroline and Melissa would have to go too hospital. JMHO.

  14. mardrag26 says:

Thanks for the stellar blogs ladies. I really love Flipping Out because I don’t “flip out” while watching. It is just good fun, with some drama we can all relate to mixed in…..and good laughter to be had by all!

    Wishing everyone a lovely day!

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I wish you a lovely day too, Mardrag.

I enjoy “Flipping Out” for the same reasons you do. I felt the same way after I watched “Big Ang” this past Sunday. I am so tired of dark and ugly and nasty fighting and name-calling.

  15. Amalfi says:

“Teresa Giudice has been quoted as saying that Melissa Gorga is “one big joke” in a new news story. http://www.examiner.com/article/teresa-giudice-believes-she-is-the-star-of-rhonj-and-not-melissa-gorga Something tells me Melissa doesn’t care what Teresa thinks.”

NMD – that entire article and accompanying comment is ridiculous in my opinion. The article is from a source who tells us what she is thinking. If anyone has made a point to NOT talk about anyone, it is Teresa.

They are all looney, but it doesn’t take much insight to see whose source planted this one. LOL.

I’ve actually just learned to dislike them all. It’s much saner and more fun.

    • Now that I’ve started reading all these articles for the blog – I’ll tell you most are about nothing. They take a tweet or a comment in a blog and write a whole piece about it. Some even take a blog and pretend it’s an interview. I think they are filming the reunion soon – and no franchise does gossip better than NJ. It’ll be interesting to see what rumors start to fly.

    • Orson says:

Okay, the article says that in Gather magazine, some unidentified inside source said something about Teresa. That’s, what, 2 or 3 degrees of Hearsay?

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I did not read the article because I thought Teresa probably DID call Melissa a big joke.
Now that I know that it came from an “unnamed source,” I will take it with 75 grains of salt.

I must say, however, that Teresa probably DOES think Melissa’s singing and singing career are a big joke.

Likewise, Melissa probably thinks Teresa is dumber than a box of rocks and does not deserve the success she’s obtained via her cookbooks and other products. She probably feels like she and Joey are “better people and more deserving of it.”

Those 2 should just accept the fact that they BOTH hate each other; they are BOTH jealous of each other; they BOTH have done petty and mean things to each other; and they will probably NEVER be able to have any type of relationship after everything has that has occurred and been said and done. And then they should both just call it a mother effin’ day on ever having a relationship. People should stop trying to FORCE them to make nice, IMO.

Two of my aunts by marriage had this petty, jealous, competitive thing going on for YEARS!! It was draining and made many people in the family very uncomfortable. Family members kept trying to FORCE the 2 of them to be friends because they were married to 2 brothers who were very close, they lived right next door to each other, and their kids were more like siblings than 1st cousins (super-close). It ended when, at one of these “forced KUMBAYA” meetings, somehow one of my Aunts, in the midst of an argument that had inevitably begun AGAIN, picked up an ashtray off of a coffeetable in my other aunt’s house and smashed her in the head with it before being dragged out by my uncle/her husband.

They basically stayed away from each other after that. The problem was solved when “the ashtray-wielding aunt” divorced my uncle! 😀

      • I agree. I don’t think it’s difficult to surmise that t does think Melissa’s career is a joke. I think most people do. She might have a few fans or some that think out of HW’s who try and release songs she might have a faction more talent but I don’t see MG performing at the Grammy’s.

  16. plainviewsue says:

Teresa cannot win. In the Huntington Post interview, Jac points out that Teresa is the only HW that hasn’t reached out to her since the announcement that Nicholas has autism.

The woman has tried now for over a year to destroy Teresa, her reputation and her family. She has beaten her up in her blogs and on twitter.

If Teresa did contact her via twitter, the Red Queen and her puppets would have called Teresa fake and ingenuine. Even if Teresa had contacted her privately.

Jac is gonna be on Anderson Cooper’s talk show on Tuesday. Here’s hoping she simply discusses her son’s autism and what she is doing for him. I think his shows are pretaped, so it would of been filmed pre reunion. But I am sure the bulk of the interview will be anti Teresa.

    • MamaZ says:

plainview – I’m even more concerned that she will talk about using BLK to cure him. And other equally irresponsible quackery.

      • Amalfi says:

Well, the fulvic acid in BLK allegedly CAN cure arthritis, AIDS and autism you know, as well as pesky hangovers. Whatta bargain!

        From page 3 of Jac’s Sep. 18, 2011 blog: http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-jersey/season-3/blogs/jacqueline-laurita/its-her-party?page=0,2

“Since the launch of BLK, we have received letter after letter about how it has helped many people with many different conditions, ailments, and diseases including people and children with AIDS, cancer, MS, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, autism, etc. It has often been said that it helps cure a hang over.”

        • MamaZ says:

Arghhhhhhh! That kind of thing makes me so angry!

I am very interested in alternative medicines and do not entirely trust the pharma industry but these snake oil salesmen who hold out false hope to desperate people are criminals.
And Jaq seems like the kind of person who falls for these scams. Doesn’t she believe that a bracelet fixed her infertility issue?
At least I would like to think she really believes it and isn’t using her son’s condition to shill more BLK. Even a Housewife wouldn’t do something that low. Would they?

          • Amalfi says:

Well, to be fair, she is likely semi-drunk when she writes most everything…so

          • plainviewsue says:

I believe that they possible could MamaZ if it meant boosting sales. There are people who question the diagnosis on twitter & other sites. I do not. I cannot believe anyone, even our Wacko Jacko, would lie about a diagnosis like this. I do suspect the timing of the announcement, however.

        • Mary E says:

Aren’t they already getting sued for false claims?

        • Lisa Renee says:

Amalfi, I remember that blog like it was yesterday.Grrrrrrrrr so chaps my azz. Before Jacq had an official diagnosis she was spewing the magic powers of Fulvic Acid & all it can cure. Thats why I think the timing of announcement is very self serving & so irresponsible. If you accept what people say between BLK & Scientology no one would have any health/emotional issues. I am a huge believer in the best of both worlds, traditional medicine working in conjunction with non traditional. Every person is different & there is no one size fits all. Lisa

          • Amalfi says:

I think the timing of the announcement is convenient considering it’s contract negotiation time. I am not saying they are evil people and I do believe they love their kids (who wouldn’t), but maybe they are taking Joe Giudice’s advice to make a buck if you can. Eww.

I bet you a million dollars that Nicholas would never drink BLK. One thing to sell snake oil to others, but I am sure she wouldn’t be willing to shove black crap down her toddler’s throat.

They all throw stones and none are better than the other.

          • Scientology?? Maybe Mama Manzo should get her sons into Scientology because they arrange marriages with hot women and if they don’t work out they kick em out of the cult and discredit them.
At least Vanity Fair did a well researched and thorough investigation into Tom Cruises almost arranged marriage. Dang Katie Holmes just had to be smitten with her girlhood crush. (still gives me the creeps thinking she had a crush on him as a child).

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I can’t wait to read that Vanity Fair article. I used to subscribe to the magazine. It ALWAYS had great articles.

Ever since Tom let his publicist, Pat Kingsley (who is allegedly one of the best in the biz), go and replaced her with his sister Lee Ann DeVette (also a Scientologist), his image took a BIG hit and started to go into a free fall (the couch jumping; the leaks about the auditioning of hot, young actresses to be his next wife; the over-the-top displays of affection with Katie Holmes; the constant Scientologist chaperone assigned to Katie shortly after she and Tom began dating; the way Katie Holmes turned seemed to turn into a type of robot during the marriage).

Once Tom and his people realized that his image was turning into that of a Napoleonic, control-freak, Scientology zealot and possible crazy person, he got a new, more professional publicist, but, by then, I think much of the damage had already been done.

The invention of the internet (which Scientology cannot control) has opened the Scientology door WIDE open, and much of what is inside does not look too pretty. The fact that many people who were once higher-ups in the Scientology organization have defected and started speaking out about some of the outrageous things that go on at the behest of David Miscavige (L. Ron Hubbard’s “successor” as the head of Scientology) has also caused the religion (if you want to call it that) and Tom’s reputation to take even further hits.

              • AZGirl says:

LOVE MY VANITY FAIR!!! which reminds me I need to submit my subscription renewal.

              • Boobah says:

Detox – Isn’t that some crazy-ass sh!t?!? Marty Rathbun defected and is fairly vocal about how he got out. I think he audited Cruise at one point. I don’t have any links – I read about this a while back. Just a few days or maybe a week ago, a woman came forward that she had indeed auditioned for the role of TC’s GF. Scary stuff.

                • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Yep. Crazy indeed. I’ve heard about the new information about one of the women who auditioned to be Cruise’s wife before Katie Holmes. Scientology came out and tried to discredit her, but Paul Haggis (a prominent screenwriter, producer and director who was a longtime member of Scientology who eventually left the church because of its stance against homosexuality and has been speaking out against Scientology and its practices) came out in support of this actress, and said that the story is absolutely TRUE (despite Scientology’s denials).

If you have the time, check out a book called “Inside Scientology” by Janet Reitman. She said she truly went into her investigation of Scientology with an open mind and tried to be totally objective. She said she simply wrote what she honestly found out about Scientology. It’s very interesting and a little scary. There’s some information in there about Tom Cruise (When he was married to Nicole Kidman, he allegedly had very little to do with Scientology, although he never officially left the Church. Apparently, Nicole Kidman was never really comfortable with Scientology. Somehow, Miscavige got Tom back into the Scientology fold and decided Nicole had to GO! And go she did) and maybe a little about John Travolta (I forget).

Their founder, L. Ron Hubbard, was vehemently against psychiatry (that is still Scientology’s stance today). Despite that, after his death, several psychiatric medications were found in his possession (allegedly for HIM).

The more I learn and the more I hear, the more Scientology gives me the creeps.

                  • Boobah says:

Oooohhh, I’ll have to look into that book. I know whatcha mean, the more stuff that comes out about Scientology, the more freaked I get. There was a TV special on right around the time Katie and Tom broke up, I watched it but I don’t really remember specifics except that I was shocked. The audits freak me out the most.

          • MamaZ says:

Chaps my azz, lol. I love that expression!

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Me too. I use it all the time (interchangeably with “burns my ass” — whatever suits my mood at the moment).

      • plainviewsue says:

Mama Z, I hear ya. After I read that interview w/Albie and he said he knows of a woman who gave her autistic child BLK and there were improvements, red flags started really coming up.

        • I think BLK and their comments about it are all a bunch of horseshit. Wasn’t it Albie who said that he, “…didn’t completely understand the science.” Well, if you don’t understand the “science” behind your snake oil, then you should shut the hell up and quit making unsubstantiated claims. Their claims are going to get them noticed…and not in a good way. I wonder if he even know what BLK stands for? He should go pump gas – not that there’s anything wrong with pumping gas, mind you.

As for Carowitch looking for an apartment in the same building..what in the world is up with that? It’s too weird.

I really like Carowitch in the first season, but I am DONE with her! She’s got a lot of vicious words, but doesn’t have any substance.

    • Mary E says:

I love the Red Queen label. I think this makes Kathy, Jac and Melissa the gardeners who are painting the roses red…even we all know, they’re white. Does that make Tre Alice or the Chesire Cat?

      • Chicago Diane says:

I do not see where NJ goes from here- Caroline has lost any semblance of kindness/wisdom/maturity/perspective, as a mother or a friend- has displayed her open HATRED for T-and disdain. They have spent a year without speakiing. Kathy and MeGo bring nothing to the table and are not “the break out stars” they were so sure they would be. The M “kids” are turing 30 without careers or lives, other than dissing T and Juicy; that leaves Jacq who now unfortunately has a topic, autism- and bankruptcy.

Bravo blew it when taping S4 before finishing S3- even if T has a “friend” to talk to- what the h is there to discuss? Battlelines are drawn. Maybe we can question who really set up who at the Posche show- but we know what the “proven facts” are- it was all T- or Bravo-.?

Enough already. We get it. You hate each other. And Bravo set T up, but she survives.

At the point where the articles are so desperate they are making up nonsense about the cousins as anything but an irritant, what’s the point? Give T a show about her life wiht her girls and stop.

Just like Patty Stanger, noone wants to hear from Caroline EVER again. She has nothing to say . There is no recovery here. I think Bravo destroyed this series when it reduced it to family infighting- not a topic anyone enjoys.

It’s like what they did when keeping Kelly after Scary Island- she should have been gone after that, for her sake, and for that of the show. They need to stop setting their “stars” up in ways that are hurtful, like Ramona this year, T, Kelly, etc- and start to focus on interesting women who make a difference in positive ways- like the few minutes the one episode where Aviva did something rare- cared about someone besides herself and helped present that darling young man his legs- a much better story, message, etc. Can Bravo start to celebrate women instead of embarrasing and destroying them? Sounds naive maybe but it would bring in a completely different audience- and help , rather than hurting, someone. It might even be interesting enough to get an audience, structured well.

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

With regard to Teresa reaching out to Jac after Jac’s announcement of Nicholas’ diagnosis, that is such a tough and complicated one.

I was in a similar position once, and it was VERY hard for me to decide how to respond. I had a friend of quite a few years, and we had grown pretty close.

Well, I found out that she was talking about me behind my back. I basically asked her if she said these things, and she lied. I chose to believe her. Well, we go out one night with a group, she gets drunk and tries to embarrass me about something in front of the entire group (something I cannot even REMEMBER right now. It was no big thing, but it was just the fact that she was DOING it in front of a group of our mutual friends).

I again asked to meet with her one-on-one to discuss whether she had some problems with me that she felt like she needed to address because I felt like her drunken antics were a passive-aggressive display of some underlying hostile feelings. She said some hurtful things. I said some hurtful things. She then told me that she thought it would be best if we ended our friendship. I told her I thought that was a bit drastic and impulsive, but, if that is what she wanted, I was fine with that (I actually was NOT fine with it. In fact, my feelings were very hurt. But I believe in respecting people’s wishes. I am also too proud to ever be somewhere I am not wanted). So be it.

Despite that decision (which was HERS), she would still make attempts, through mutual friends, to see if I was interested in rekindling the friendship.

I was NOT, and, in a VERY NICE way (seriously), I made that clear.

After that, I never spoke of her again — AT ALL. We had mutual friends, and, if they asked about her, I simply said, “Oh, you know, I haven’t seen her in a while” or “You know, we really don’t talk that much anymore. Busy lives, you know?” Stuff like that.

She, however, did not take the same approach. It’s like, after her few attempts to rekindle the friendship were rebuffed, she went on this campaign against me or something. She went around town trashing me and LYING about me CONSTANTLY (including to our mutual friends who would run and tell me ALL about it until I just asked them to stop because I felt like it was just negativity that I did not need). I figured if I focused on myself, my work, my friends, my family and staying positive — in the end — people would know the TRUTH about me, regardless of the LIES she told. I think it was Malcolm X who said, “You can hold a clean glass of water up to the light, and you can hold a dirty glass of water up to the light. Without even saying a WORD, people can see which one is the clean glass and which one is the dirty glass.” That quote is how I chose to handle her bashing of me. I refused to respond in kind or engage and instead focused on the positive. Years later, this person did similar things to others. So, when it was all said and done, the TRUTH about me and the TRUTH about her DID come out — without me having to say a word).

Well, after about 8-10 months of this, she sent out a Group E-mail, including ME (which shocked the hell out of me), letting us all know that a family member of hers had been in a horrible accident, was facing paralysis, had no insurance, etc., etc. In short, the situation was pretty bad. She talked about setting up a fund for him and how much it saddened and affected her and her family. She also asked for prayers and responses.

And I HONESTLY did NOT know what do to — if anything.

Part of me wanted to respond and offer words of support and, hell, maybe even visit with her.

The other part of me had a HUGE FEAR of OPENING ANY KIND OF DOOR INTO MY LIFE to her EVER AGAIN (because she had been so relentless and said such vicious things about me). She had just hurt me too much. I had already prayed about it, and, in my heart, forgiven her. But, in the end, I decided that it was not my place to respond at all because I was no longer a friend or a family member of hers. I DID pray for her and her entire family, though.

Maybe that was wrong of me. But that was my truth. That was my choice. And that was why I made it. It was not made out of malice. It was not made because I simply did NOT care (in fact, I think I made it because I cared TOO much, and I knew that it was for this very reason that I needed to avoid letting my guard down with her again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me kinda thing, you know?).

Maybe this is why Teresa has not reached out to Jac after her announcement of Nicholas’ diagnosis. I do not know. However, like my friend, Jac did go on a relentless, almost nonstop twitter and interview “bash Teresa” campaign for MONTHS AND MONTHS. She also talked about Teresa constantly in her blogs and even bashed Teresa’s minor children (when all Teresa said was, “I feel sorry for Ashley.”).

Teresa has her faults (PLENTY of them). But maybe these people just need to all accept that their relationship with Teresa is OVER and just leave her the hell alone. Keep her name out of your mouths. Focus on your OWN things. ENOUGH! Jesus!

      • MamaZ says:

Detox – I think you did the right thing. I had a similar experience once. A very close personal friend betrayed me at a difficult time in my life. She caused me so much harm and wanted to sweep it under the rug because she was having some problems herself. I forgave her but told her in no uncertain terms that we would never be friends again. She turned around and trashed me to everyone she knew. I have kept all her secrets and I know some really damaging things about her. For me it was really over. I guess she was still invested. Whatever.
I found out several years ago that she was seriously ill. I considered getting ahold of her but decided the best thing I could do was to pray for her privately since I still had no intention of becoming her friend again.

You would think these people would have enough in their lives to distract them from the things they profess to hate. But Caroline lives for this luann. (See Orsons post below. )

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Knowing that you responded in a similar way makes me feel better about the way I responded. Thanks, MamaZ.

      • PJ says:

It’s so hypocritical to bash Teresa for so long and then to complain that Teresa hasn’t come forward after the Autism diagnosis, anything to make Teresa look bad. What do these people expect? Nothing Teresa does can please them, Teresa is right to stay away just like you were in your situation.

        • I agree with what everyone wrote, especially since in another interview Jac admitted that while they were in Nappa that everyone knew there was something going on with Nicholas and they were asked to keep it on the DL- and how everyone respected that including Teresa.

I am sure that if Teresa made a public statement about what is going on with little Nic, she would be accused of trying to exploit that issue too.

I’m a bit concerned about Jac being new to the autism world yet being in the lime light has positioned herself as a spokes person, especially having trumped BLK as being able to modify autistic behaviors. I also have a lot questions about waiting 8 months for approval to see a specialist. It doesn’t come across as someone being very proactive and on the ball.

The autism community can be very secular with radially different approaches and theories about treatments and causes. I don’t think she is strong or stable enough to out herself in that sort of spot light.

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Thanks, PJ. Even though, in my heart, I knew I made the decision that was best for me, I still struggled with it for quite a while afterward.

          • Lisa Renee says:

Detox, I agree you handled it well & was based on your truth. This person who trashed you, then tried to entice you back into her web, using a tragic event to further her agenda, never prayed for you or your family while actively harming you. I would respond the way you did also. I pray for people all the time who I will never exchange a word with ever again in life & I never spilled their secrets. It has been so cool getting to “know” you, Lisa

        • MamaZ says:

Anything exchange between Teresa and the rest of the cast is future ammo. She need sto keep her distance. I’m sure she wishes little Nicholas nothing but the best.

          • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

And, you know, I just remembered something. Danielle’s mother died at some point while she was still a cast member. I remember her giving an interview where she said that NOT A SINGLE ONE of her castmates reached out to even offer her their sympathy or condolences.

I can understand Caroline and Dina not reaching out to Danielle because they were never friends. I can understand Teresa possibly not reaching out because of the whole “Your house is in foreclosure! You didn’t even go to see your nephew in the hospital!” fiascos (although Danielle HAS said that, after the reunion where she called a truce with both Jac and Danielle, Teresa –NOT Jac — was the one who kept her word about making no further negative comments about Danielle in any way, shape or form. She said Jac went right on back to bashing her, though. Isn’t that funny? The Antichrist Teresa kept her word. The Put-Upon Victim Jac did NOT. Go figure.)

BUT, Jac and Danielle did supposedly have a close friendship at one time. Why did she not reach out and at least offer her sympathy to Danielle? I can understand why she did NOT (because maybe she felt the way I did when it came to my friend and our similar situation).

So, why does she want to hold Teresa to a DIFFERENT standard than the one to which she chose to hold herself when it came to her former friend Danielle and something painful in her life?

Once again, she is focusing on Teresa’s action or inaction and judging, instead of looking at her OWN action or inaction in the past that may cause her judgment of Teresa to be a bit hypocritical. She also needs to be focused SQUARELY on NICHOLAS.

            Just food for thought.

  17. Mary E says:

Is anyone esle so happy Rachel Zoe is not returning to Bravo. Not we just need to get rid of Skanky Patti.

    • BB says:

Is that a for sure thing, Mary E? I had read rumors about her clothing line not doing well and that she might not be back on Bravo, but hadn’t seen anything definite. I’m glad Brad Goreski is coming back for a second season. At first he kind of got on my nerves, but as his season progressed I liked him and Gary more and more.

      • Mary E says:

I think you’re right, just a rumour. I was just hoping, I’m sure Brad is too. I love Gary.

        • BB says:

Yes, of the two of them, he showed more class when he left to go out on his own than she did.

          • Amalfi says:

That was obnoxious how RZoe felt Brad could never venture on his own without being labeled as disloyal or owing all past, present and future successes to her.

She was sweet with her little boy though. I didn’t know she had any nurturing quality in her. I hope she and her gay husband and baby have a great life anyway. They seemed genuinely happy.

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I don’t really watch the show. I think I only caught 2 or 3 episodes of her 1st season, and I found her irritating. So, I stopped watching.

              Her husband is gay?

That little baby of hers just gets cuter and cuter. He’s adorable and chunky. He probably weighs more than HER at this point.

          • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I agree, BB. I definitely think Brad showed way more class about the situation than Rachel did.

      • Lisa Renee says:

Hi BB, just want to jump in & say thanks for the flipping out blog! Love Jeff & all the players, so glad they are back. Thrilled Brad is coming back, I hadn’t heard yet. I dig him & gary & enjoy them much more than the Zoe. I can not take Patti Stankazz at all, hoping she is canceled. Stay well, Lisa

      • Chicago Diane says:

WHile I think Rachel is fuil of herself, my guess is she was so upset that Brad got a show on Bravo that she split in frustration- but who knows? I am sorry though, as she had intersting insights into the fashioin world- personality aside.

Ask and ye shall receive! So yesterday, I along with others were curious as to when Aviva showed up at the house/pool. Carole mentioned she was due around 6 she thinks, do I tweeter the ladies and Ramona answered. Thanks a bunch for helping with the Timeline, Ramona!

@Pghemtchick: @iamHeatherT @CaroleRadziwill @ramonasinger @SonjatMorgan Inquiring minds would like to know roughly what time did Aviva arrive at the pool?

@ramonasinger: @Pghemtchick @iamheathert @caroleradziwill @sonjatmorgan it was around sunset time , six or seven pm

So then the next question that needs answered is Simon’s:
@SimonvanKempen: A question for @AvivaDrescher You landed in daylight, yet after the 2mile drive 2 the villa suddenly it was NIGHT? See http://t.co/Fqf68NZp

    • BB says:

Since you brought that up, I decided to share what I found about how you can get to St. Barts other than by plane (ferry or charter boat). Aviva probably has a boat phobia too though. Anyway, as you can see by the attached, planes DO NOT land on St. Barts at night, so I was wondering too why it was pitch dark when Aviva and Reid arrived at the villa.
      http://www.sbhonline.com/Getting-To-St-Barts.htm

      • plainviewsue says:

Aviva did say she was afraid of boats because of possibly drowning.

It is all very suspicious. Obviously, Aviva and Reid had more than enough time to compress after the plane trip. Simon says most likely it was to make sure they arrived when the cameras knew the gals would be in the pool and drinking.

        • BB says:

Yep, I remember one of them saying Ramona and Sonja took a dip in the pool every afternoon/evening on the trip, so the Bravo producers probably knew how to time it just right.

        • kidsrfunny says:

She also said she gets seasick. Yet another block in her path to having a good time.

      • Pghemtchick says:

Thanks BB for finding that! I don’t fly in any sized airplane due to paranoia I blame on watching the Challenger explode when I was 3. Not my first memory, but one that really stuck. Anyways, if I were to fly there (and had the money) it’d be private boat to the island for me! Talk about relaxing! I don’t know the statics, but I would guess sinking in a boat vs crashing and sinking in a plane would be the less lethal of the two.

    • MelTheHound says:

I didn’t really catch that until I saw Alex’s vlog. Bravo once again, phucked up, if they expect us to believe this crap happens ‘naturally’. B.U.S.T.E.D. Next we’ll be seeing sudden outfit or hair style changes mid-scene. They’re slipping on the editing.

      • thedesigndiva2 says:

MTH… They have already done the hair style changes midscene..Go back to the LAST SUPPER in Napa scene where Jac is doing Tre’s hair with the curling iron..One minute Tre has straight hair on her right side..then the next scene it’s curly..then seconds later it”s straight again.. That whole convo did not happen in the sequence it was shown…
same with the convo with tre and carolwhine..keep an eye on vito in the background..the editing people have gotten real sloppy with their SPLICING of scenes..
Goes to show..it’s not REALLY what it is…LOL

        • Boobah says:

Diva!! Hope all is well with you. How is Mr. Ford?

I cannot believe how poorly they are editting. I personally don’t notice. Maybe because I am wincing the whole time? Lol.
          oxox

    • RealHousewifeVA says:

I think production controls and manipulates a lot, which would account for Reid and Aviva arriving after the ladies got back from their boat trip and had a chance to shower/change (or get naked in the pool) so they would all be around when Aviva showed up. In Carole’s blog she said they got back to the Villa from their boat trip later than they expected to.

  21. Mel says:

apologize if someone posted this already but I found this peace of gossip. I will not put out the name of the person that wrote it as they have been extremly trashy and part of MElissa Gorga’s camp (her make up artist is the person’s source by the way). True or false….still an interesting read since the reunion is coming up. The only part i truly believe is that Bravo is trying to get Dina and Danielle back.

    #RHONJ …. Source: “Shit Just Got Real”……

After I reported last week that @dinamanzo told @teresa_giudice that Jac’s baby, nick, had autism because it was Karma..another person on twitter, “chris stark” tweeted that it was in an email…well of course that piqued my interest, and my source has confirmed it was written in an email.. This email will be shown this saturday during the taping of the reunion…my source told me that the wives have a plethora of documents containing very damaging information about Teresa.

What I would give to be a fly on the wall at the reunion on Saturday… oh wait, i will be a virtual fly on that wall! lol

Today my source has also informed me that Dina is prepared to return to the show, But she and Teresa are trying to strong arm Bravo and prevent the return of Danielle, refusing to film if she returns. Dina believes that she is and will be the “TRUE STAR” of the show (that should be a sign to tre fans that Dina isn’t a true friend to Teresa)…I have a feeling that Bravo may call their bluff…Danielle is also prepared to return “With a vengence” and her sights will be set on Dina Manzo (3 words: project ladybug, fraud)! Negotiations are taking place and look very good for Danielle…This may also mean that Priscilla (teresa’s make up “artist”) will not join as a full cast member but will be more like a Kim G, or a Marlo. (i’ve been told Priscilla still lives at home with her mother and is bat shit crazy)

My source has also told me that Teresa is trying to push filming back until after March of 2013, She doesn’t want the trial or Joe going to prison to be filmed..I doubt bravo will comply…they know Teresa is desperate financially and that gives them the upper hand. They also know that the viewers want to see this! (plus who needs Teresa if Dina and Danielle return?)

Joe Giudice’s lawyer has been trying to get a deal with prosecutors …Prosecutors were willing to make a 5 year deal…Joe and his team want a 3 year deal..Prosecutors said No way,,that if convicted by a jury he’ll get 10, so they should be happy with 5 years.

Be sure to pay attention saturday for any info i get during the taping of the reunion

    • I find the whole thing very suspect. If Dina supposedly said this in an email then how did the Manzo Bozo’s get a hold of it? More, so Dina isn’t on the show so why bring it up at the reunion? How it it a reflection on Teresa?

To me, it sounds like someone is trying to start a nasty rumor about Dina to get people to turn against her. It pay back for maintaining a friendship with Teresa.

Caroline really, really makes me sick. The way she accuses Teresa of trying to destroy people considering all that she did on the show and afterwards to try and take Danielle down. The bitch actually got on a plane and flew to CA to be questioned in a deposition in a lawsuit Danielle’s “Cop without a Badge” ex filed against her.

      • Mel says:

I think this latest rumor is coming from the comment CAroline made at the reunion. She told TEresa…..”i saw the emails” etc. I don’t buy for one mono second that Dina said it was Karma. I think that was added on to villify Dina because the email they are refering to is not enough to villify her. I also believe unlike any of the other women…..Dina knows her sister inside and out and they is alot of issues behind their separation…..and much of it has to do with Caroline standing behind Jacqueline(who is not even her blood sister). Isn’t weird that Jacqueline is the constant behind ALL of the drama between all of the ladies starting from season one.

        • Rebecca says:

This is Dina’s brother’s child. There is no way in hell she made the karma remark.

          • MamaZ says:

She may have, but not in a malicious way. Dina has a new age spiritualism concept of karma but I don’t think she is a true student of Buddhism. I know people who believe all illness is cause by something spiritual or emotional in our lives. If she said something like that, and we don’t know that she did, it assume it was in that vein. Insensitive, yes but no worse than impyling that drinking BLK can help him.

            • lovemamaearth says:

Interesting. Not saying anyone deserves anything but if you really believe in Karma then almost everything that happens is because of something done earlier. I believe in reincarnation and try to believe in Karma. Sometimes the worst people get good things and sometimes bad things happen seemingly unfairly to good people or innocents. JMHO But who knows…

              • MamaZ says:

I don’t really buy into the what comes around goes around business. And certainly not when it comes to illness. But Dina is into all that New Age stuff so I can see her meaning that it was stress levels or something when Jaq was pregnant. People need to keep their opinions to themselves though about those type of beliefs because it can be very hurtful. But we don’t know that Dina said that.

I think Teresa was a Black woman in her past life who loved her some no-good lying, cheating, no-count Black man who was Joe. I mean, all of their sh*t is the sh*t blues songs are BASED on! I swear to God, I could think of at least 4 or 5 Blues songs written by women going through the SAME type of stuff as Teresa with the SAME type of man as Joe!!

But those women (just like Teresa) still loved their no-good men (like Joe) anyway.

And the way they dealt with their pain was to SANG DA BLUES TO DA SKY, CHILE!!!! LAWD, LAWD, PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS HERE NO GOOD MAN!!!!

In THIS life, Teresa COOKS and SPENDS MONEY(and probably PRAYS to the Good Lord too — except she does it in a Catholic Church) to deal with her pain (instead of SANGIN’)!!

Past life connection is sometimes the ONLY way I can explain SOME people’s f*cked up relationships.

                LOL

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I think Jac and Dina have had MAJOR issues for quite a while. Chris Laurita was allegedly engaged to one of Dina’s close friends but cheating on her with Jac. Maybe this is true. Maybe not. Well, allegedly, Jac got knocked up — hence the shotgun wedding in the park where they wore jeans. Maybe this is true. Maybe not.

Jac has claimed, even in one of her blogs this season, that Dina is jealous of Jac and Chris’ relationship because Dina was once very close with Chris, but that changed once he married Jac (a la Teresa and Joey Gorga).

On Dina’s end, it is alleged that this is not the problem at ALL. The problem is actually all of the shit-stirring and gossiping and mess Jac causes in the family, and it usually centers on Dina for some reason. Dina allegedly blames Jac for, in a moment of anger, serving as a secret source to a blog and claiming that Dina’s charity was a fraud. This caused all kinds of problems for Dina and angered her. She allegedly wanted Caroline to stand behind her and back her up and issue some type of statement about the legitimacy of Project Ladybug. Caroline refused and took up for Jac.

Dina also suspects that Jac is the person who told Danielle all kinds of personal information about her — including the fact that she forged her ex-husband’s signature to allow her daugther Lexi to be on Season 1. Danielle called up Dina’s ex-husband with this info., and it caused major problems for Dina.

This is why, when Jac sent out a Christmas twitter to all of them (Teresa and Dina included) calling for peace, Dina refued to respond and after much questioning about her lack of response on twitter, called Jac’s tweet “a bunch of B.S.” This very quickly turned the Spirit of Christmas-Give-Peace-A-Chance Jac into the twitter DEVIL once again, and she started tweeting nasty sh*t about Dina and Teresa again.

          ALLEGEDLY. LOL

My head is filled is ABSOLUTELY USELESS knowledge about ALL kinds of things.

What/Who is/are more useless than the Housewives?

People have also told me I have a photographic memory. I don’t think I do. In fact, some people claim photographic memory does not exist. Many of my friends SWEAR that I have a photographic memory about many things (shrug).

One of my brothers has Aspberger’s and is a “human calender”.

Maybe I am on the autism spectrum too, and I do not even know it. And it manifests itself in my case by my ability to store and remember ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND ASININE information. 😀

Or, it could be, as my BLOG NAME suggests, that I need TREATMENT (shrug).

              • lovemamaearth says:

Thank You. Don’t be sorry, though. Things were harder when he was younger, but he’s come a long way. He drives. He works 2 jobs. He has friends. He has girlfriends (Don’t get me started. He is attracted to, how do I put this? The “hooker-type”. But, hey, he likes what he likes. I’m always nice to them, but I keep my eye on ’em so they don’t take advantage of my baby bro.). He was even engaged once. So, he’s doing o.k. Hell, sometimes, I feel like he’s doing better than me.

He is the ONE AND ONLY PERSON IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD who can call me by his very own special nickname he picked out for me YEARS ago: QUEENIE!! So, if he ever dies before me, and I go to a “MEDIAN” (I’m saying it like Melissa Gorga), and she tells me that my brother is speaking to her, and he wants to talk to “Queenie,” I will PASS OUT IMMEDIATELY!!

                  • LaineyLainey says:

so sweet. I hope you never have to go to a median. And if you do, I hope she never says “Queenie, you in danger, girl” but seriously, cool story. Glad he’s doing well and glad he’s gettin’ some. 🙂

How it it a reflection on Teresa?
Because she said it to Teresa. If Teresa didn’t exist Dina couldn’t have said it to her. This is all Teresa’s fault for being alive!

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

They are probably going to say that Dina said this to Teresa in an E-mail, and Teresa forwarded the E-mail to Jac. I know Teresa is not the brightest, but I cannot see her doing something that DUMB (shrug).

    • plainviewsue says:

Hey Mel. I know who you are talking about & they are extemely anti-Teresa. I read about the emails being brought to the reunion. I would take what this person says with a grain of salt; her source supposedly is Melissa’s hair stylist.

If it is true that Dina did say that in an email to Teresa about Jac’s son, would Caroline really show that to completely destroy any type of reconcilliation that the two sisters could have?

I thought the reunion was being taped Friday.

      • plainviewsue says:

OOOOPs, you already put the source in. Missed that part!! And yes it is her make up artist. Senior moment!

        • Mel says:

          LOL@plainviewsue haha.

I know all about Melissa Gorga’s make up artist……he has said some nasty things about Teresa, her hubby, and her kids. Funny this same make up artist is extremly now buddy buddy with the Manzo/Laurita clan. He even went to Lauren’s store to teach her make up stuff. Seems the Manzo’s get close to any one that is on the hateteresa train. Hypocrisy at it’s best. Seems like they are the one’s building the army. Tom Murro, Kim G, Make up artist, Gorga’s, Wakile’s and their kids………I guess it takes alot of folks to try and bring T down.

          • If someone had ever said to me that my daughters Epilepsy was because of “Karma” paying me back, I’d have slap the taste right out of their mouth!

Really, really ignorant and even arrogant stuff like “Leave that kid with me for 2 days and they will eat whatever I put in front of them”. I wouldn’t leave my kid or any child with a moron like that for 2 seconds let alone 2 days.

I didn’t think there was anything wrong with Heather’s comment about Ramona wanting only one fight at a time, because it is absolutely true, In my opinion. When she was fighting with Heather, she buddied up to LuMann. When she’s fighting with Aviva, she’s being nicey nice to Heather.

    • LaineyLainey says:

I don’t see what’s wrong with Ramona not wanting to “fight” with a whole gang of people at the same time either. I don’t think it’s wrong for Heather to say that, I just don’t understand her point. Who likes to fight with lots of people at the same time? I really thought Ramona was trying very hard to get along with everyone on this trip, and so I guess Heather’s point was that Ramona was only being friendly to her because she was at odds with Aviva? hmmmm…I don’t agree, but…OK. Heather was there, I was not. I can only base it on what we are shown.

      • RealHousewifeVA says:

I don’t take all of their THs too seriously. They are said way after the fact and oftentimes it just seems that they are trying to be ‘funny’ or ‘witty’. I just thought Heather was making a joke when she said it. They seemed to be getting along while in St. Bart’s and Heather also interviewed that Ramona and Sonja were harmless and having fun.

However, if someone basically fought with me every single time they saw me, calling me a liar and gossip, then suddenly were being nice when fighting with someone else- I would question the authenticity of it as well.

        • LaineyLainey says:

You are correct, RHVA – your last paragraph sold me. There is a woman in my group and no matter what she does,( because I’ve been burned by her), I never fully trust her. And yes, I agree that this comment is not just being made based on one surpisingly pleasant experience with Ramona it’s based on MANY negative experiences with Ramona.

      • kidsrfunny says:

Remember Ramona was fighting with Lulu about last year’s bs in the beginning of this season. Then Ramona started fighting with Heather, and Ramona went up and hugged LuAnn. I see Heather’s point, but I don’t think it was planned in advance by Ramona to buddy up with Heather in case Aviva showed up.

        • MamaZ says:

I feel the same way about Heathers TH comment. I didn’t think it was a big deal.
She has no reason to trust Ramona at this point. It was a pretty mild statement.

Hi Nancy. Changes in the cats outside, with one becoming territorial and scaring others away, so now I have food bowls everywhere. The dogs are in the house as its 104 outside even as I write. My little pom is sleeping lots but still moving air, and the pry now expects to be in the house 24/7. She will get a surprise when and if the temp lowers, but she’s a good girl.
How about your dog, still plugging along like mine? They are surprisingly resilient little dears, aren’t they?

            • Nancy says:

I was afraid to ask you about your pom. They are resilient. Emily has turned into a dog after 18 years. She’s had IBS all her life so getting her to eat has been a nightmare.
Now all she wants to do is eat. George and I are speechless. I had to cut my hours in the hospital so I could get her eat. She’s going to drive me crazy. But in a good way.
Glad to hear all of yours are fine.
It’s beginning to cool off out here. I can’t believe it’s still so hot out there. Hopefully it will cool down soon.

  33. Let me see if I can get my ramblings in a coherent and well stated paragraph or 3.
In Season HELL of RHONY Zilly told Bethenny over and over again “We’re Done!” and then kept trying to repair the damage she was doing to her Bravo paycheck. The damage control had already spun out of control because everyone loved B’s snarky sense of humor and how she calls it like she sees it. Zilly couldn’t undo the hate/extreme dislike/nausea inducing hit to her semi popularity.
Caroline said Season Dunce she was DONE with Danielle and Danielle was off the show.
Caroline is now saying she’s DONE with Tre. Is Bravo supposed to just drop Tre because Caroline is DONE? She must really think she’s the Don of New Jersey. Going around and announcing “I’m DONE” and “You’re Dead to me” doesn’t make you the imperial, supreme ruler or boss.
Don’t these women get it?? Just because you say YOU are DONE does NOT mean: #1 You’re right #2 You’ll get your way #3 Everyone else thinks the same way #4 You’ll be back for the next season of RH.
I do believe Nene said she was DONE with Sheree, but Sheree is gone so really it’s a moot point.
Can anyone else remember a Housewife announcing she was DONE with a co-housewife?

My brain is tired today and I still have 80 minutes left of work.

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

      I’m thinking, Diana…..Hmmm….

    • Powell says:

Bravo will dump Caroline before they dump T. T is more popular on the show and T gets all the outside work that Bravo takes their cut of. T brings Bravo money. They are not dumping her.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Has anybody heard the rumor that Caroline bought out her BRAVO contract so she would not have to return? She’s allegedly over it. This is probably NOT true because she DOES have a book to promote.

        Just wondering.

  34. Contessa says:

I still cannot believe Aviva was so nasty. I don’t care how many phobias one has, there is no excuse for her behavior. The woman was off the wall and calling the numphets white trash…who the hell does she think she is. She percieves herself as Manhattan royalty – give me a break. She is indulged and very spoiled. I have always felt she had an agenda, but wasn’t sure what it was. I am tired of her using her accident for an excuse for everything. I am also surprised she doesn’t walk the streets of NY with a gas mask. I am a horrible flyer, have been for 40 years (much better now). But I wanted to go to places and see things, so got tranquilizers from the doctor, which helped. However when I get off the plane I am thrilled and revitalized…so Aviva diva gets no excuse for being airplane traumatized. Also bad flyers do not every sit by the window, period – nuff said. The crap about apologizing to her H was the stupidest thing I ever heard of. Ramonja twins quieted down once they realized Reid was going to work and stay out of everyone’s way…but that was not good enough for her imperial highness.
In plain words Aviva is full of $hit, spoiled rotten and needs all attention focused on her. Aviva it is time to grow up. If I had been Ramona and she called me trash, I would have slapped the crap out her.

I love love love Carole, but I am disappointed about the TMI Sonja sexcapade. It’s like anything else, you can love a friend, but sometimes they just disappoint of piss you off. Heather is also growing on me and I could have vacationed with Carole and Heather without any problems whatsoever, and I will include ramonja as well, only if I got to stay on the second floor or in one of the bungalows – LOL. Also as manipulative as Luann is, I would take her over Aviva anytime. Aviva simply rattles my cage big time.

    • MamaZ says:

I agree Contess. Heather has grown on me the last couple of episodes as well. And a vacation with C & H would be fun. I like people who can have fun without going overboard. Ramona and Sonja didn’t just want to have a good time they wanted total debauchery. Not my style.

I don’t want to minimize what happened to Aviva as a child. Or her anxiety disorder. But things that look like obstacles can really be opportunities. And I think by insisting that Reid take her was a missed opportunity.

      • Contessa says:

Mama Z, I agree about obstacles can really be opportunities…that said, I think her parents shielded her from everything growing up and she was coddled to the point of fearing everything. My parents did a few numbers on me in a minor way, and now I can recognize it. In Aviva’s case her accident was horrible, but she has the means to get the most up to date prosthesis, therapy, do good charities, be nice (usually people who live through horrendous accidents come away with a new lease on life). Her phobias, that she points out all the time, are boring me to death. I hate elevators and am claustrophobic, but I force myself to get in them (how else to you get to a brunch atop the Hancock building in Chicago and have the best time with friends)…no one knows as I grin and bear it. She uses Reid as a crutch, and it appears to be an unhealthy relationship to me, in the long run. It is too much to carry for one spouse emotionally. Do you remember the young woman in Georgia that had the flesh eating disease and lost a good portion of her feet and hands…that is a hero in my book. Not a NY beyotch that has everything in her disposal to get treated and uses her phobias as an excuse. I’m with Bethenny – Go to a hotel!!! or in my words – next time – stay home. I am 63 and now call em as I see em!

    • Lisa Renee says:

Contessa, as a fellow fear of flying person I commented yesterday that you can not be nasty & nuts. It is one or the other, or all empathy goes out the window. Speaking of windows, spot on, people who have a flying fear do not want the view. I never expected as much as a scooby snack for pushing through my crazies. The only thing my mom thanked my husband for was for loving me enough to put up with this insanity. Everyone is aware I am nuts but when I am asked how my flight was I would reply any flight you walk away from is a good flight & left it at that. Never went into detail like she did. I was on my way home from TCI alone getting on the ATL to PNS connect & 20 minutes into the flight we were told we had to turn around for an emegency landing. My mother, my daughter & my husband after I told them what happen had the same reaction, “i am sorry you went through that but I am soooooo glad I wasn’t with you.” They also laughed their asses off. As I became visibly unglued & crying/gagging the flt attendant moved a pilot catching a hop to sit next to me & gave him a look that said this crazy woman is all yours. It wasn’t the first time I have held a strangers hand & cried like a fool. DivaAvivas
behavior has left me stupified Lisa

      • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Lisa-I mean this in the nicest way possible…I just love how you and your family handle your “nuttiness”. It seems very healthy and honest. I had to really laugh at them saying they are glad they weren’t with you during the emergency landing-in my family when one of us admits to showing out “nuttiness” the rest of us are usually upset that we missed it!!!!!

        • Lisa Renee says:

JnntJ, I am familiar with your comments so I know you get it, in a good way. You have to have a thick skin in my family. As with your family mine also hates when they miss anytime time I bust my ass & looking up at everone from the floor. What made me laugh about their reaction is it was 3 exact same knee jerk reaction, involuntary response. I roared. My friends were no better, those who have traveled with me have never been the same. I faked the funk so not to pass my issues on to my kid, but as a rule can’t play pretend. Honesty with laughter is a great combo. While I may not be the picture of mental I give as good as I take. I like that about us as a family. lisa

      • Boobah says:

        Lisa,
        Lisa,
I agree w/JillNNTJ…the way your family deals with your anxiety is so awesome! It seems like you have transcended the anxiety and now it is what it is and everybody just deals with it.

My bro has several disabilities from a accident…and I just have to say that our sense of humor is completely wacked! Seriously, I mean the stuff we joke about is so inappropriate. I think I can relate with your family’s sense of humor a little on that one. One time my mother made a crack to an acquaintance, the lady looked horrified, dropped her purse to the floor and gave my mom a good ole bear hug! We all died laughing! My mom had rattled off all my bro’s issues so glibly that the acquaintance didn’t know what else to do but hug her!!!

Also, I have anxiety issues. Panic disorder to be specfic and I have had some reactions similiar to yours. But I think that just like everything else, no one is going to be identical in how it presents and what helps.

As for Aviva, I don’t where to separate her personailty from her disorder at this point. So, I’m going to slide her a break for now. But I suspect that she is spoiled and entitled. She may have even got a JD just so she could compensate for her issues. Who knows?!

        • Lisa Renee says:

Boobah, thanks for that. In our family everyone is given plenty of room to be who they are. My mom called the shots. You can be as nuts as you want as long as you get help. The minute someones crazies stopped/got in the way of your quality of life she said your checked into appropriate facility “for exhaustion”. Mom did not play. Hospital humor, brings out the sickest humor in my family, well mostly me. I am know to snap a rubber glove on loudly index finger pointed & proclaim in my best accent ” I vant to be your friend”. Once, post op for mom she got super constipated, this was cleveland clinc in Westin,(best hospital ever) & I started a pool at nurses station as to when she was going to blow. If your not laughing your crying, so lets laugh together because we are here together, no matter what the circumstance.
Aviva lost me when it was clear she had no clue as to what she is visiting on her children. I knocked myself out stupid to make sure my kid didn’t grow up with my anxiety my issues. She will have her own, if any. It is her life to process & fingers crossed she is more high functioning than me. Aviva’s son being scared for his penis, off all things, from the merry go round. She takes “you’ll shoot your eye out” to another level. That child has spent too much time hearing about his mothers issues & it has become his way of seeking validation.(IMO). Aviva & her statistics ugh, reminds me of the movie The World According to Garp. Robin Williams character house hunting & a small prop plane flew into the house & he turned to the realtor & said “we’ll take it, what are the odds in that happening again”. What are the odds indeed Aviva, Lisa

          • Boobah says:

LOL…”I vant to be your friend”!! Our family’s are very similar. Yes – if you dont laugh you will cry!
I completely agree about the impact on Aviva’s children. Omg, that is a very bad situation. Bravo to you for making sure your daughter wasnt exposed to it. That must have been very difficult. What an amazing Mom you must be! (((Lisa)))

            • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Well it looks like all of our families are kind of similar…hospital humor is my forte!!! If i dont make jokes and have people around me laughing I would put Aviva and her anxiety to shame-my whole family knows it and tease me about my “hospital stand-up” all the time!!!
Very hard not to show your kids the side of you that you don’t want them to inherit-hard to keep yourself in check all the time-good for you Lisa and your family!!!!!
Boobah-your mother!! I would have loved to see her face when the lady grabbed her in a bear hug!!!

              • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I can relate to ALL of you guys. My family is a mixed bag of nuts. We have got it ALL. Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying. Seriously. I think that is why I like to laugh and joke so much. Life is short. My mother and father both have very good — but very DIFFERENT — senses of humor. My mother’s is very DRY and SARCASTIC. She is also a bit shy and introverted. My father tells the BEST stories and jokes, and his TIMING is excellent. He is also super-extroverted. I swear to GOD, no matter WHERE we go (in the country, and I bet, the WORLD), SOMEBODY knows my damned Daddy! At a party, my mother will be quietly talking to someone in the corner, while my father is screaming and dancing in the middle of the party with a lampshade on his head (as my mother just rolls her eyes and wonders why she ever married the idiot in the first place. Oh yeah, she was knocked up with me. Shrug).

Oh wait…I was about to tell a funny story about my Mom taking care of my Aunt in the Psych Ward but Bill Clinton is up. Be Back Later!

Did a little reading about BLK and other alkaline waters.
There are several. BLK is not exactly a groundbreaking new product. In fact all city water has alkaline added to the pipes that carry it won’t corrode. I can’t find out what the alkalinity of BLK is but it doesn’t really matter because your stomache will neutralize the extra alkaline anyway by producing more acid! So any claims of balancing your bodies PH are bogus. The only way to maintain the proper PH is to eat leafy green vegetables.

      • Contessa says:

In defense of Ramona, she had a face peel (had a deep one once) and sometimes you look like you had a sunburn and other times you can look like pizza face, pretty scary. Just depends on the type of peel. The ones at a dermatologist are usually pretty strong, as opposed to what you get at a spa.

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

For those of you who watch the original “Mob Wives,” do you guys remember what Renee Graziano looked like after her face peel? OMG!! She looked like she was in a horror movie. Princess Pindy had a pic of it as her avatar for a while. I’m going to try to Google Renee Graziano face peel to see if I can come up with some pix.

If Ramona looked anything like Renee did, she definitely would have scared those poor children to death!!

          • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

O.K. I found some pix, but I’m not super tech-savvy. The ones I found are on the VH1-Mob Wives Blog, and I don’t want to bring that whole thing over here. Oftentimes, I think I’m just giving you guys a link, when it gives you the whole kit and kaboodle.

            Just Google. You’ll see them.

      • klmh says:

I think you’ve got it BB. Tx. That along with Carole’s remark about Ramona’s face peel or whatever, may be what Im thinking of.

  38. JustDee says:

I’m curious about Aviva’s timeline. She was injured at age 6. Apparently she went to college ALL ON HER OWN for what? 8 years? She married Harry (don’t know when) and he was obviously NOT a hand-holder. She was single? Then met and married Reid 5 years ago.
NOW all of a sudden she’s unable to function in life without Reid by her side?
    Doesn’t make sense.

    • Contessa says:

That’s what I’ve been trying to say all along further up in the blog. Aviva is a mess and I think she uses the phobias for attention. I hate women like that…do you think he escorts her to the ladies as well? How did she ever get through childbirth? I think Aviva is a narcissist, very spoiled by her parents, and feels very entitled. When we first saw her on screen talking to Carole about her husbands death I was astounded. That is not a subject one brings up at the beginning of a friendship – duh? I am also concerned about her little boy fearing for his penis on the merry-go-round – where the he!! did he come up with that little phobia. My nephews 6 and 5 would never think of something like that – they are so rough and tumble, even when they were toddlers – and trust me they were fascinated with their penis’s as most little boys are at a certain point. Dee – Love love love your Dog – what kind is he? I think he and Mel would be great playmates!

      • JustDee says:

I agree Contessa. That penis fear made me realize she’s putting her irrational fears onto her children. SO not right!

I don’t know what kind of dog Tux is, Lab and German Shepherd most likely, with a curled up tail that I can’t figure out. Yes, he and Mel are buddies and even Facebook friends! But they’ve got a bit of a rivalry going on over WHO is the most famous. 😀

        • Contessa says:

Dee, I just enlarged Tux’s photo and he is very handsome and looks like he is fun and very loving. I know Mel and follow him and his human person (love their writing), but Tux is right up there with Mel in my book – shhh please don’t tell Mel – we don’t want him to get jealous – LOL!

      • klmh says:

I agree with almost everything you said. Aviva’s problems don’t stop at her phobia issues.

The one thing Im thinking and have been thinking for quite a while, is that Carole isn’t over her husband’s death and might still be in the anger phase. I understand that. It is at the core of her being and she mentions it frequently. Jmo, of course, but she has issues as well, and Im hoping she can eventually move past her pain. I like her. And I think that’s why she was talking with Heather, who has in the past episodes, been calm and understanding. It seems to me that Heather has been trying almost too hard for a deep friendship with Carole. I don’t know, just a feeling.

        • Contessa says:

K – good point about Carole – have you read her book? I did and I understand some of what she went through, except my late H died in his sleep suddenly. I didn’t watch him waste away with cancer. She also lost her BFF – Carolyn and John Kennedy. Anthony Radziwill and John K were like brothers growing up. I think she is still dealing with all of it, when she told Carole she wished she had a letter, from Anthony, my heart broke for her. What I liked about Carole when I read the book ages ago is that she seemed to stay true to herself with who she was and never apologized for her humble beginnings, but actually was very proud of where she came from and how she got there. Maybe there is more to Heather than we know. I think she is a good businesswoman and perhaps she was painted badly by not inviting Ramona to London and than we have the entire toaster oven debacle. Heather is business and I like Sonja, but I don’t see her taking anything with business very seriously. Heather is kind of laid back and I think she sees that Carole has pain. Please recall that Heather was the only one of the group that met Russ – Carole’s boyfriend previously – so that tells me something about their friendship. Now my big question is why are they hanging with Aviva – LOL?

          • klmh says:

Good points Contessa. I haven’t read her book, but she seems so injured you just want to hug her.
I think Heather was really hurt with what Ramona said, and other than her treatment of her, I really haven’t seen her go off. I would also imagine Ramona could drive you to drink or over-react. 🙂

            • Contessa says:

A little bit of Ramona goes a long way, that is why it is good she is paired with Sonja on vacation…makes it tolerable for everyone else. Just watching Ramona makes me tired. One thing that does puzzle me no end are the bikinis…I think Ramona does look good, but she would look better in the type with the built in bra and better yet in a one piece, guess I am jealous as my bikini days are a very distant memory – LOL!

              • klmh says:

Ramona is a lovely well preserved lady and she would rock one of the miracle suits with some bra support, but some of those shots show her with a tummy. That miracle suit hides a lot of gravitationally challenged junk.

      • Powell says:

Aviva’s passing on her phobias to her kids? I hope not.

    • Powell says:

I think Aviva had to prove to herself that she could do all those things on her own and then when she married Reid she no longer felt she needed to be strong, that someone could take care of her. But she’s really debilitating herself. What is she going to do if she no longer has Reid?

      • Contessa says:

Curl up in a fetal position in her Park Avenue apartment with servants to take care of her, and make her children feel guilty for living their lives, because she was injured so young.

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

That is a very good possibility. My antenna went up when, in one of her very first talking heads, she said, “I couldn’t BREATHE without Reid.” It was not only the words, but the WAY she said them that made me think, “Uh-oh! That does not sound too healthy.”

Speaking of Aviva’s entitlement and possible-as-not-yet-quite-figured-out-personality-disorder, remember how she called SH and basically DEMANDED that SH get HER approval before she posted any more pix of her or did any blurbs/stories about her? In return, she would grant SH a very special interview — only it had to be via E-Mail, and she had to be allowed to view all of the Questions first, and THEN she would tell SH which ones she WOULD and WOULD NOT answer. She also allegedly told SH, “I can either BRING viewers to your blog or TAKE them away. It is YOUR call. So, what is it going to be?”

That’s when SH, who is basically a BITCH, did that Blind Item about Aviva and told the story and later revealed that it was Aviva who had what SH termed “the burglar balls” to call her and hautily and nastily make those demands after seeing a pic of herself on SH’s website that she did not think was favorable.

          • Lady Chatterley says:

Huh – I didn’t realize it was SH’s blog. That LaViva’s got some nerve, doesn’t she? I would say that what we’re seeing now falls in the category of true colors.

But, really this was fun girl time and then “it” landed. Aviva the nut job psycho dragging her poor husband Reid to this production snake pit.

How could one person have so much anxiety? I understand the flying phobia. That is cool. But….LEAVE THE PRINCESS ATTITUDE AT HOME. If I acted like Aviva my husband would have been on the first plane off the island and said “good luck”.

    • Contessa says:

Most men would not tolerate that kind of craziness and would not have gone in the first place, and said if you want to go you are going to have to suck it up, one of us has to stay with the kids/work. Oh He!! most men I know would not have married such a crazy person in the first place. Way toooooo needy, but I think you hit it on the head, her phobias are her excuse to act like the entitled princess she really is – that is the key to the phobias and her excuse for her sense of entitlement and nasty behavior because she is the queen of Manhattan. When she is unsure of something she uses a phobia as an excuse for anger, not going someplace, her dependance on Reid, her reasons for forgetting her first H and trying to pretend he is the real father of her son with Harry, screaming at her friends luncheon about her fundraiser, screaming at the nymphets for not kissing Reid’s ass and etc etc etc. Good one AZ

      • Nancy says:

George would open the emergency exit door on the plane to throw me out if I acted like

New York is on again and I am watching for the second time. What I dont understand is why did Aviva think that the women needed to be so grateful to Reid for getting her there? He did that for the women???He flew to St. Barth’s b/c his wife wanted screen time not b/c he wanted to make the women happy!!! Seriously I can not stand when a wife wants other women to validate their husbands-I don’t get it.
Now she is hollering about how awful the women were to Reid as if he is a 5 year old. I don’t like Aviva and I don’t trust her-not b/c she is nutty(that is her only god quality) but she is sneaky and mean. A closeted elitist -the kind of person who acts kind one minute and angry and rude the next. She is probably so mortified that her behavior was filmed for all to see b/c I bet she has fooled all her “friends” into thinking she is phobic scardy cat who wouldnt say sh*t if she had a mouthful-but she sure knew her way around some nasty, strong words on St. Barth’s!! I think she is sorry she was seen in this light-for sure not sorry for how she behaved!

    • I think she was just on the verge of a nervous breakdown and screaming nonsense. What I can’t figure out is why she hasn’t owned it and apologized.

Believe me, I’ve known plenty of “those kinds of people” throughout my lifetime (I’m even kin to some) and they seem like they have everything they need and look pretty happy to me.

Coming out of blog exile to share a story. One that puts life, yet again, in perspective. A friend of mine lost her 3 year old daughter last year. It was a horrible accident…they were at a swim club and they lost sight of her for a minute (as most of us moms have) and she drowned. There is a video online about it called “18 seconds”. If you have a pool, or children, or a heart, please Google and watch. Anyway, soon after that happened, she became pregnant and had another little girl in March. Yesterday, that baby died of SIDS (at least thats what is believed at this point) while at daycare. 2 children lost in 14 months. I know most of you are kind and pray for those who need it, even if you don’t know them. Can you say extra for this family? Please? if you can……Im sorry to bring down the blog….

Well, that didn’t work. Sorry guys, tried to copy the address, but goobered. Again.

      • It is informative, but some of the figures are fuzzy. Population of the earth = approx. 7 Billion. The video says 2 Billion cannot read. Before that, the video has a screen with out of the 100 (representing all 7 Billion on earth) 70 would be illiterate. That’s 70 % whereas 2 Billion out of 7 Billion 2/7 = 28.6 %

UNESCO estimates that about 80 % of the earth’s population aged 15 and over is literate.

        http://portal.unesco.org/education/en/ev.php-URL_ID=11317&URL_DO=DO_TOPIC&URL_SECTION=201.html

What about 15 & under? So in reality, it’s how you look at the statistics. Including under age 15, + the 20 % over age 15 that can’t read, you could say 70 % are illiterate….if 50 % of the world’s population is age 15 and under.

What’s that saying? Statisticians are the best liars.

With all our problems in the USA, we are still better off than over 90 % of the people on earth. Plus we have the ability to work hard and achieve our dreams. I hope part of our dream includes helping those less fortunate & consuming/polluting less of the world’s resources.

I’ve been to one of the poorest nations many times, India. The first time, it took a long time to recover. Because it saddened me to see so many destitute people. With time, I learned something: that even in their poverty, these folks had happiness, pride (in themselves & their families), and hope. Is the best life really living in a NYC penthouse looking down on everyone? Or is it holding your child, surrounded by a caring family, happy with what you have & working hard for you & your family’s future. Watching the sun rise can be far more beautiful and fulfilling than working in a corporation in a concrete jungle. At least to me 🙂

Isn’t that the truth, Statisticians are the best liars! I love Factcheck for the political issues though.
I think it was the idea of the piece, and I didn’t take the numbers seriously.
