Let’s Chat – Does Bravo really think viewers are stupid?

by NoMoreDrama

Bravo and NJ Producers are testing our patience.  The timeline for the show is seriously messed up.  The main issue is that they filmed two seasons of NJ back to back because they wanted Season 4 filmed during the summer.  I hope they don’t do that again, because it makes the shifting alliances really hard to follow.  Below is a reconstructed brief timeline.

May 3rd, 2011 – Teresa’s cookbook released.

May 16, 2011 – Premier Parties for Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 3.  Brownstone Party has Caroline, Jacqueline, Melissa and Kathy and families.  Teresa hosts a party at the  Pizzeria.  Dina Manzo drops by Teresa’s party but is a miss at the Brownstone.

July 11, 2011 – Melissa takes the girls out for a mani/pedi.

July 23, 2011 – Jaimie Laurita’s wedding date – first on-air mention of Dina Manzo.  Caroline is officially “done” with Teresa.

Late August/Early Sept 2011 – Napa trip.  http://www.woodallscm.com/2011/09/real-housewives-visit-california-rv-park/

September 27, 2011.  Posche fashion show – big blowout fight.

September 28, 2011 Reunion for S3 taped – Teresa mentions that Dina is no longer talking to Caroline.  “No wonder Dina is no longer talking to you”

October 7, 2011 – Fabellini launch party – Dina films with Teresa (but scenes airs before the fashion show)  Bravo makes it seem like Teresa should have invited Jacqueline and Melissa – but viewers know better.

Late October, 2011 – Dina blogs about feud with Caroline and says Teresa isn’t responsible http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/24/real-housewives-of-new-je_n_1028351.html

A year later nothing has changed.  Dina is still supporting Teresa.

Love, Light, and Lawsuits by Rebecca

What does Caroline think about Teresa?

Like many RHONJ viewers, I found the leaks about last week’s reunion taping pretty disturbing. We’ve all been watching this show for four seasons now. Teresa went from the cute, ditzy friend to the all powerful, grand master of all things that could possibly go wrong within the Gorga, Wakile, Laurita, and Manzo families. She is truly omnipotent if you watch how she has been portrayed on the show starting last season and building (or should I say boiling) up from there.

Just for giggles, I’ve gone back and grabbed some of the “best of” quotes about Teresa from Caroline’s blog:

Season 1 Blogs

“Teresa, oh Teresa, what can I say? Love, Love, Love…Mwah, Mwah, Mwah! The one thing you can always count on when Theresa is around is laughter. She is absolutely hilarious! Her girls are absolutely adorable and as girly girl as you can possibly get. Theresa is crazy in love with her husband and is very dedicated to her girls. I am so happy to see Teresa and Joe finally move into their dream home.”

“Teresa is the modern day Lucille Ball. She is an absolute riot! I always laugh when Teresa is around. Did you see all of that luggage for Gia? Hysterical! Only Teresa. She is a good mommy that wants to make her daughter happy.”

“Teresa – Hooray! Teresa finally got her boobies! They look fantastic and she is very happy! I just need to know one thing – did Joe wear a thong while caring for her? If so, I think the nation needs to see pics of that, don’t you? LOL!”

Season 2 Blogs

“As always, Teresa and her family are my biggest source of entertainment…those kids kill me! Now we have all the grandparents! This is priceless!”

“Dinner at Teresa’s was great! I could not believe all of the energy she had! It was like watching the Energizer Bunny, she just kept going, and going, and going! Joe was late getting home and the kids were exhausted, but it didn’t stop them from putting on multiple “shows” throughout the night. The food was great, and the company even better. Watching those kids is like looking at a real life cartoon. Their huge eyes and over the top outfits along with their larger than life personalities is never dull, trust me! As Teresa says, “Love, love, love them!”

The shopping scene with the girls was a little intense; thank God I only had one! It was like a feeding frenzy, snakeskin and zebra leggings everywhere!!! I don’t think Teresa allowed Gia to get all of those clothes. Good for her for putting the kibosh on it, the last thing you want is to start a pattern of overindulging, especially with a house full of girls!

Gia rocked the runway, as expected! I was so happy for Teresa; she was a very proud mommy. I still can’t get over how she looked, nine months pregnant, wearing a mini dress and five inch heals! Only Teresa… “

“First, let’s talk about Teresa and her delivery. How hilarious is she?! I remember going to the hospital to deliver all three of my kids, nowhere in sight was there makeup, jewelry, and heels! Only Teresa!!! I have to say, she was fabulous! Watching the labor was intense, ughhh, there’s got to be a better way! How many women out there were brought right back to the day you gave birth? I know I was, I was watching with a friend of mine and we were both feeling every contraction along with Teresa! Joe was cute; I think it’s amazing how most men don’t have any idea how to deal with their wives in the delivery room. … So, when I was watching Juicy Joe, I have to say, I get it. Audrianna is a little beautiful nugget, and just like her sisters she is larger than life already! The scene with Jac and Nicholas visiting was priceless, could there be a match in the future? We’ll have to wait and see I guess! I thought it was really cute the way Teresa asked Dina to be the Godmother, can you imagine the way that child will be dressed? Between Dina and Teresa she should be quite the fashionista!”

“I have to give Teresa credit, those girls are involved in everything from dance, to gymnastics, to guitar lessons, etc., etc., etc. Teresa carts them around, baby in tow, looking fabulous! Not me, I’d be a hot mess. Good for her. As I watched Teresa in the waiting room talking with the other parents, an old saying came to mind. “There’s only one beautiful child in the world, and every mother has it.” Now, tell the truth … don’t we all think our kids are the best things since sliced bread? Whether or not we believe that Teresa is a stage mom, or Gia has the talent to make it, there’s one undeniable fact: Teresa is a mother who loves her children, and gives them her unconditional support. At the end of the day, when those girls are grown with families of their own, whether it be in Hollywood or New Jersey, I would be willing to bet that each of them will remember those moments with love and gratitude. “

“How cute were Teresa and Joe at the housewarming party? It was a happy night for them and I was glad to be a part of it. I could not believe how rude that party planner was! For once I agree with The Countess: “Money can’t buy you class.” “

“I thought Joe was adorable as he showed Teresa the pizzeria. I got a kick out of it when he told her to put the apron on. Trust me, I’ve been there. When you’re in the restaurant business there will be days where you’ll be working in the kitchen wearing an apron. GUARANTEED. It’s the nature of the beast, and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I’m willing to bet that if Joe really needed Teresa to work, she’d be right there beside him helping out. Granted, her apron would probably be a sequined leopard print, but she’d be there.

Joe commented to Teresa about moving into one of the apartments above the pizzeria in the event of an issue with their house. I’m not 100% privy to the reality of their financial situation, so I don’t feel comfortable talking about it. I do know that there were investment properties that were impacted by the economy that may have issues, and I’m hoping that things get turned around for them. In any event, I think Joe did a nice job on the apartments, “sun roofs” and all. “

“I think I’ll begin with Teresa and Joe playing Monopoly with the “ripped” board. How cute are those kids? I loved it when Gabriella told Joe that he should buy Teresa flowers and chocolates for their anniversary. Joe is constantly hugging and kissing those girls, they have him completely wrapped around their little fingers. They are Daddy’s girls for sure. My favorite line of the whole anniversary scene was Joe’s, “The Hamptons are closed.”

FANTASTIC. Wait a minute, I just remembered the poem that was great too. Teresa wanted to be “wowed” and I think Joe went above and beyond. As Teresa says, “Love is, everyone has eyes, F it, Joe is hot.” Happy Anniversary guys, many, many more. Xoxo.”

“Teresa and Joe crack me up. The dynamic between the two of them is hysterical. Joe is worried about the bill and Teresa wants it to be FABULOUS. I think Teresa won that battle, but I’m sure Christopher took it easy on Joe too. The church was beautiful, the party was spectacular, and Audriana looked like a porcelain doll, absolutely precious. I completely sympathized with Joe while the photos were being taken. I’ve been in his position many times. Teresa LOVES THE CAMERA! I will say this; the Giudice girls will have thousands of beautiful pictures to reminisce over in years to come. That’s when they’ll be precious and I’m sure Joe will be grateful for every single one of them.”

Season 3 Blogs

“As I watched myself having the conversation with Teresa as she explained the events of the christening, I saw myself being very abrupt in my delivery. I don’t really have an excuse for it, it was what it was. Maybe I was PMS-ing, who knows. The bottom line is I didn’t like what I saw, however good my intentions were.

I do have to admit that hearing Teresa say she didn’t need my advice was a little hurtful. If nothing else I’ve always tried to have her back and have a very real understanding of the burden she’s been carrying over the past couple of years. I’ve tried to be as supportive as I could. I was only trying to help, if Teresa felt I was overstepping my boundaries, I apologize.”

“At one point Kathy wanted to explain her behavior at The Brownstone. In doing so she began to tell me all the issues she had with Teresa and how she felt betrayed, etc. That’s where I had a problem. Whether or not Teresa is right or wrong in this whole mess isn’t the issue. As I said, it’s none of my business. However, here is someone that I literally just met coming into my home and bashing someone that I’ve known for over fifteen years. That didn’t sit well with me at all. I didn’t understand why Kathy felt the need to come over my house and apologize and explain herself, when in fact she didn’t call her aunt or Teresa to do the same. I’m a complete stranger, so that bothered me.”

“I’m going to start with the meeting between Joe and Teresa. After watching the two of them together and listening to what they had to say, I came to the conclusion that Joe’s scars go very deep. He spoke about his children and how the feud has trickled all the way down to their level. I don’t care if you love the guy or hate him, that hurts him, and you can see it from a mile away.  His facial expressions and his body language actually said more than what he verbalized. I didn’t feel like there was any true resolution. It seemed to me that they both were done with the conversation and just wanted to get out of each other’s way. Sad.

The talk between Teresa and Melissa didn’t go much better. On the surface it seems like they both were going to try and move forward, but I didn’t feel it. Something was off, and I think they both knew it. It’s sad, and I hope I’m wrong, but that’s what I got out of it.”

“I’m not going to get into the little tit for tat Teresa had with Melissa, because to me it was nothing more than a ridiculous exchange of remarks that had no content at all. Hey, it could have been worse, so if we had to deal with anything that night, I’m glad it was only that. Remember, before you send a lynch mob out for me, look at the big picture. Reconciliation is the goal and that’s what Teresa wants, right? So in that spirit I’m asking all of you to do what we’ve decided to do – have an open mind, don’t take any sides, and give peace a chance. See you next week.”

“I felt the need to invite Kathy and Rich to New Year’s Eve for a few reasons. Albert asked me to; the Giudices and Gorgas were asked, and Al didn’t think it was right to leave the Wakiles out. They’ve been clients of The Brownstone for over twenty years and now there was a social connection made through Teresa and Joe. I didn’t know Kathy that well at this point, but it made sense, so I invited them. Whether or not Teresa wanted them there had no relevance; I have two eyes and two ears, I can make a rationale decision based on what I see. I’m not going to dislike someone because I was told to. Some may perceive my decision as being disloyal to Teresa. Loyalty to a friend doesn’t mean do what I say, it means doing the right thing, and sometimes the right thing is telling your friend when they are wrong.”

“OK, as for my friendship with Teresa. I have said time and time again that Teresa was Dina’s friend first, and had a different relationship with Jacqueline than with me. I knew Teresa casually over the years, but when we started doing the show together, we spent more time with each other. Those times were always in a group setting, never one-on-one. Did I consider Teresa family? Yes, I did, we all were involved in each other’s lives, and friendships and relationships were had on many different levels. Having said that, I still stand by what I said. We weren’t buddies, but we were still part of a family dynamic.”

Season 4 Blogs

“I’m going to be address Teresa, but it’s going to be quick. I don’t buy her apology, and quite frankly it doesn’t matter if she’s sorry or not. I made a decision to eliminate her from my life, and I’m standing by it. Once again, many of you may not understand, and that’s OK. Hopefully by the end of the season you will. Having said that, I’m keeping my comments to a minimum.”

” OK, here we go — the cookbook comment and the apology that followed. I want you all to think; do I strike you as the type of person that would end a relationship over a shallow comment in a cookbook? The answer is no, I’m not. The cookbook was the tangible piece of evidence I needed to state my case regarding all the rumors I had been hearing for months. A rumor is a rumor, nothing more, but when you see something written in black and white, there’s no denying the truth. The worst part is when the opportunity arose to discuss the comment, I was looked right in the face and lied to. No accountability, no remorse. That was my ah-hah moment — the truth was revealed and I made a decision, end of story. Again watch and read between the lines. I’m aware that some of you won’t agree with my decision, and quite frankly that’s fine. This is how I feel, and I’m standing by it. Let me know in September if you agree with me. By then you will have had a pretty good idea of where I’m coming from.”

“Let’s talk about Joe Giudice and the remark he made to Greg on the bus. I’m probably going to get crucified for this, but I don’t think he meant it with malice. Now understand that I think the remark was awful and in the poorest of taste, but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, he’s like a kid, he just blurts things out regardless of how it hurts. Yes, he is a 40-year-old man, and yes he should know better, but when he said that he immediately took it back and apologized. Over the past few seasons he has made numerous gay slurs, and there’s no denying that there’s an issue there, but in this instance I think he was making a poor attempt to be funny. Call me crazy, but that’s the way I feel. On the other hand, I also meant what I said about him being a shell of the man I met a few years ago. The Joe I remember was fun, carefree. I truly believe that back then he didn’t need more than a good cigar, a bottle of homemade wine, and his family and friends around him to be happy. The guy could live in a cardboard box and be happy. Something changed along the way, and he’s become bitter, guarded. Sad, we all miss the old Joe. I’m not saying this for brownie points, or to be politically correct. I mean this sincerely.”

“The scene with Teresa and Gia bra shopping was cute. I remember those days well, when our kids want to be “grown ups” and we can’t keep the smile off our faces as we watch them navigate their way through life. Treasure those moments, you blink your eyes and they’re adults and you scratch your head and wonder where the time went.

Gia was unhappy that her team lost the tug of war. She thought her Uncle Joe was cheating and she voiced her opinion to everyone. I was upstairs in the kitchen cooking when I heard voices from the basement and it sounded like someone was crying. I went downstairs to find Gia and our little friend Frankie (who is Gia’s age) talking about the cheating issue. Frank was trying to explain to her that no one was cheating and everyone was just having fun. I walked into the room and tried to explain to Gia that her mom and uncle were having a great time. I never once reprimanded her for her behavior until she became disrespectful towards me directly. I don’t care whose child you are or how upset you are; you do not look an adult in the face and tell them to be quiet, mind their business, and get out of the room. Especially when they are not antagonizing you. It was then when I told Gia to look at me and show some respect. I would expect nothing less from any other adult if it were my child back in the day — respect is paramount in my book. Children should know their boundaries. Teresa challenging Jacqueline and myself in front of Gia was wrong. First of all, she wasn’t in the room, she didn’t know what happened. If she had a problem with either of us, she should have pulled us aside and spoke to us in private and discussed the situation before berating us in front of Gia. That’s just my thought on it, we all parent differently, and that’s what makes the world go round.”

“I felt bad for Jacqueline, but at the same time I was happy for the Gorgas and Wakiles. I meant what I said when I told Kathy and Joe that removing myself from the situation could only help in their healing process with the Giudices. There’s no denying that now as I watch from week to week that my instinct was correct. We’ll see where it goes from here.

I’ve said it a million times, we fight big and we love big, but in the end there’s always forgiveness. I’m happy to see that Joe and Teresa are going to therapy. I don’t know what the outcome was, so I guess I’ll find out when you guys do. I was also happy to see Kathy and Melissa respond in a positive way to T’s request; all you can do is try, right? Baby steps.”

“I’m going say this for the last time — an apology is only an apology when it’s sincere. Issues go way beyond the cookbook. The cookbook is trivial nonsense. I don’t attack anyone, I respond to comments made about me. I don’t back down, and I won’t play the game. I say it as I see it and will never hide behind an insincere apology or a fake friendship. If that’s being a bully, then so be it. I’m a bully.”

“Clearly my attitude towards Teresa has changed and with good reason. I won’t be a soldier in her army. Again, Jacqueline and I were brought into a situation to “fix” things. I found out very early on this was nothing more than a war tactic on Teresa’s part. Remember, there were never supposed to be sides — Teresa clearly states in this episode that Jacqueline needs to “pick a side.” I ask you this — Why? Why do we have to pick a side? I assessed and made a decision not to enlist. I don’t like war, and if my approach seems less than loyal to some viewers, all I can say is I am what I am and it is what it is. I stand by my decision. We are all entitled to our own opinion, that’s what makes the world go round, right? Having said that, I can fully respect and understand anyone’s view; whether you love me or hate me, it’s yours to do and think what you wish. For those that understand, thank you, for those who don’t, no hard feelings.”

So there you have it. She wanted us to know she was fighting with Teresa all season. She claims the cookbook remarks weren’t the reason, and they were trivial, but she keeps bringing up that Teresa’s apology wasn’t sincere enough for her. Well, if it wasn’t a big deal, why not brush it right out the door and get over it?

So that gets me thinking, I can’t for the life of me think that what we’ve heard about Teresa has been so damning that random venom gets thrown at her from all sides? Truly. In all this time, not a single reasonable incident has come out to make Teresa the villain in everyone’s eyes. It’s simply a gang up to take down the popular girl right?

The Manzo children and their lapdog Greg have taken to twitter to take mean swipes at Teresa for about a year now. On the show, they made fun of her every chance they got when she was not close enough to hear her. Lauren, who in season one when she couldn’t name the continents, was called a “ditz” by her brother, called “not so smart” by her father and “so stupid” by her mother. She claimed not to know what “dictatorship” or “democracy” means in this same clip. Season three, she’s calling Teresa stupid. This past week, we hear she looked up some fancy words and tried stumping Teresa on the reunion show.

You can start at minute 22 here to see for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQwKaXrmujs&feature=relmfu

If you would scroll up to the quote from Caroline about Gia, the ten year old, and how she felt disrespected by her when she decided to discipline someone else’s child, you’ll see one of the many reasons viewers have lost respect for her.

So as I was searching for this exact video on youtube, I came across the Chicago newscast about the Punta Cana lawsuit. In case you forgot, on the last day of the Season 3 Punta Cana trip, attended by all the cast members, the Manzo kids, and even Greg, a brawl broke out in the hotel bar. According to one of the victims, Teresa was spraying champagne. The victim, Adolfo Arreola, went over to stop it as it was spraying his family. He was then knocked down and his wrist was broken. His cousin, Jason Gomez, suffered a broken leg and torn ligaments in his knee. The cast was detained while Bravo tried sweeping it under the rug with the local police. The victims claim they were taping at the time and that they will bring the video to light. Now, as the story came to light, we all heard Joe Guidice, Albie Manzo, Chris Manzo and Greg Bennett were arrested. This was later proved untrue. Their passports were surrendered to give the police time to sort things out. Lawyers flew down from New York and Arreola and Gomez were each forced to sign a release of claim in order to have their passports returned so they could come back to the US.

Finding no other resolution, the victims proceeded to file a lawsuit against the resort in a Miami court and the cast members and Bravo in the New York Supreme Court. While the summons is available online here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/57850357/Housewives, little if nothing was made about ALL the names of the defendants. Not only are Teresa, Joe, Albie, Chris, and Greg named in the suit, but also Caroline, Albert and Lauren. Could this be the real source of anger from Caroline and Albert toward Teresa and Joe? The lawsuit was filed in June 2011. Season 4 was just about to begin filming. Yes Caroline was annoyed with Teresa in season three because she had a storyline of her own and it wasn’t all about her financial problems. She had two best-selling books by this time. That meant the show would not be revolving around Caroline’s family anymore.

Now, during a recession, where people are cutting back on their lavish parties and weddings at the Brownstone, Caroline needs to shell out cash to defend her sons, her daughter, her husband, and herself for a fight that in her eyes was started by Teresa, who never threw a punch. This is all very public information; however none of the cast members are allowed to say a word. On top of this, the beloved Manzos were probably given a proper ass-chewing by the Bravo producers. They are losing their luster. The webisodes with the boys are done. The radio show is done.

Did Teresa force the Manzos to take part in this fight? She is omnipotent if you listen to Jacqueline, Caroline, Melissa, etc. Since she is, she should have taken the fall for the brawl, right? She should have exonerated the poor Manzo boys. Being proper stereotypical thuggy behavior, you can see where in this case Dina would take the other side and not support Caroline’s family. Is this the “Teresa lights the fire on my family’s problems” hidden message? You know, read between the lines? This is exhausting!

So once again, Teresa makes an appearance on WWHL. She has never said a negative thing toward Lauren, even though by now she has seen Lauren’s nasty tweets about her and listened to her nasty insults on the show. She makes one remark about how important it is to lose weight naturally – and let’s tell the truth here – there’s a very big chance she could have been talking about not losing weight with diet pills, liposuction, etc. Lauren has a conniption and takes to twitter to continue the Teresa bashing. Which we’re all over. So I will leave you with more words of wisdom from Caroline. I wonder if Jacqueline will read it to Lauren:

“The show is meant to entertain, not cause World War III. A healthy debate is fine, hate is not acceptable; not towards me, Teresa, or any of the other ladies and especially amongst the viewers! Play nice with the other children!”

Thank you Rebecca for your recap of the last 4 years of this complex relationship between Caroline and Teresa – NMD.

Teresa speaks out about the reunion in her blog: Good Friends Mean Everything

DateSaturday, September 15, 2012 at 8:56AM

“I should have posted this already, but as they say “better late than never” right!  As you all know, last week was the filming of the RHONJ reunion show and it was a very long and emotional day.   I won’t go into the details because you’re going to see it all for yourself in a few weeks on Bravo, but I think it was the longest filming ever in all the seasons I have been doing the show.  As you can imagine I was exhausted and emotionally drained afterwards and one thing I was thankful for was the support I had.  Of course my wonderful hubby Joe was there, but I was also so grateful for the support of my friends, especially my friend Jerry who you all know as Jerel James Sabella, the person who created the Milania Hair Care line.  It meant so much that he took time out of his busy schedule to be there for me.   Thank you Jer!  Good friends mean everything! xx

P.S. I was also so touched by the tweets of concern from all my friends on Twitter”

(Oh – she has a hair care line out now too).

Thank you Rebecca – apparently Wacky Jacky isn’t the only one obessed with Teresa! The higher Teresa’s star climbed the more Caroline’s jealousy came out.

DETOX UPDATE: i sent her an email last week to check on her and received a reply today!!

Detox’s mom had back surgery on 9/6/12. Because D’s dad and brother work many hours everyday, and detox is able to do contract work from home, she has taken on the role of primary caregiver for her mother during this delicate recuperation. I ask all who pray, to please pray for D’s mom; for recovery from her surgery and for healing; she may have contracted a staph infection: her wound is red and spreading; along with a consistent 102 fever. I don’t have to tell you guys that staph infections are stubborn as all get out.

We’ve all been wondering about Detox’s own health. She still has not been able to go to the doctor (!!) because she doesn’t want to take time or attention away from her mother’s care. She is still coughing!! and experiencing shortness of breath. She takes her mom to all of her appointments and will be calling in to ask for antibiotics for her mom tomorrow.

I’ve encouraged her to make an appointment for herself ASAP or to ask her mom’s docs to give her something so that she can better care for her mom. Please remember Detox and her mom in your prayers.

Detox asked me to let you guys all know what’s going on with her and I quote: “I figured people on the blog would be happy to have a break from me and my big mouth and my wordy comments. LOL. Please give everyone my love and tell them I will be back to running my mouth on the blog as soon as I can get my Mom and myself back in shape and under control.”

I assured her the LynnFam misses her a lot!

Here’s what I wonder about the lawsuit. If al, Lauren and Caroline weren’t there, why are they named? That tells me they may have been there too. Or involved somehow? I could see if the kids were drinking under age, so you go after the parents…. But they ate adults. The plott thickens….

  4. BB says:

In answer to the question, Yes, Bravo does think the viewers are stupid, and unfortunately some viewers prove them right. Present company excepted. 🙂

  10. VV says:

Wa wait that whole scene they just played had nothing to do with the Posche Show. That happened at the Baptism of Joey’s little boy.

  11. mrs peabody says:

Well I have no sound for that video so I watched it (or attempted to) without the sound. All I can say is there is no way that woman was a dancer/stripper she can’t dance worth beans. I finally gave up about 4 minutes into it. She really is not a good performer. Who knows maybe it’s better with sound but without it she was horrible. I don’t think JaLo or Brittney or lady Gaga have anything to worry about.

  17. Why is Caroline in the middle in the “official” photo of them in black dresses? Has she always been the star, front & center in pics?

  18. LaineyLainey says:

Yes, my daughter and I were dying laughing. She’s came home for Sunday dinner. She thinks Albie and the cheerleader are such a cute couple… her fave is Milania – I was so happy they threw us a little Milania bone with the Italian class. So cute.

  19. CdnFillie says:

Lauren needs to quit playing the victim…grow up little girl

  20. What is it with the men on this show. They need to be quiet and let the women do their business.

Yep. 3 inappropriate jokes in the first 4 minutes of a business meeting. Then there was a 4th which wasn’t as inappropriate as the others.

    • Bea says:

I know, I can’t imagine bringing my husband to a business meeting. And we’ve seen both Joes and Richie act like totally idiots during their wives business meetings this season.

  21. MamaZ says:

And people say Juicy is a pig!

  22. klmh says:

Oh could you imagine having to deal with Richie?

  23. Countess Lillybee says:

Richie is just horriible acting the way he did at a business meeting.

  24. VV says:

  25. oh yeah Melissa is the next Christina Aguilera no doubt

  26. MamaZ says:

What does Caroline do for fun?

  27. Caroline is such a sour puss. How did she ever agree to do this show.

  28. Caroline speaks about herself as Caroline……who does that? she says “Caroline grabs & goes” so guess what, Bluesky no likey!

  29. Countess Lillybee says:

Jackie looked like five pounds of sausage stuffed into a three pound casing in that dress.

  30. Jac & Caroline are soooo scripted in Posche, time to dump on Teresa

  31. Exit4 says:

Oh Melissa-there will be no E Hollywood story for you. And I feel like Kim D. Is stirring some poop in her cauldron in the back room of Posche!

  32. VV says:

Thanks for posting the Timeline, NMD!

    • LaineyLainey says:

Yeah, that cleared up some of the confusion and emphasized the fact that Bravo does think we are dumb, dumb, dumb.

  33. ok I’m confused, why is Jac at Teresa’s house, this must have happened before the Posche fashion show. But the talking heads were done later, right?! It’s weird.

    • VV says:

Bravo creative editing. We all have the timeline posted above. I was thinking the same with the Talking Heads. I think some even (Caro and Jac) after they ended shooting.

      • they really are “acting” because after the Posche fashion show, they all hate Teresa, yet in their talking heads they have to pretend like they still are getting along with her…..ughh

  34. Insert happy scenes of everyone getting along so that the blowup will be that much worse.

  35. Boobah says:

It was interesting that Teresa and Caroline have contrasting opinions of past Poshe fashion shows. Caroline felt it they tended to end badly while Teresa had fun at them.

  36. VV says:

    Cacaface promotion time!

  37. this scene at Cafface/Cacaface wow could they dress any better?? So you’re on a reality show, you know they are filming, and this is how you want to look?

  38. MamaZ says:

What exactly was so tough about Lauren’s year?

  39. Zoey says:

Could somebody translate Caroline’s language? What the heck is she talking about? She’s a head case and a half!

  40. MamaZ says:

Maybe Ashley should accomplish something be fore she claims to have conquered!

  41. MamaZ says:

i don’t understand why these people use make up artists?

    • LaineyLainey says:

I think it’s too much…but my daughter is always oooohing and aaaaahing about Melissa’s eye makeup.

  42. klmh says:

    Kim knew. Teresa didn’t. jmo.

  43. oh yeah, Teresa, you’re not looking weird at all in the crazy talking head with that dress & hair, worrying about how you’re going to look getting glammed up at Allure.

Ooooooh & then Angelo starts in on the Lookers stripping crap with Melissa….so set up isn’t it. Bravo, you are so tacky!

  44. I got the answer I wanted. Kim D it is. Her face gave the entire thing away.

  45. Kat from Ohio says:

see. good for tre for squashing it.

  46. klmh says:

Has anyone checked this guys credentials? Is he the manager of Allure?

  47. Countess Lillybee says:

Good for Tre for shutting down that conversation about Melissa.

    • MamaZ says:

Fat lot of good it will do her with the rest of the cast.

    • cusi77 says:

I am glad too that she did it!

    • Lady Chatterley says:

But, she didn’t – she ducked around the corner, so they could continue filming it w/o implicating her as being part of it. She could have and should have shut it down – but, she let it play out.

      • Lady C, Teresa can’t control what these trashy Bravo producers film, and what they put on the show after editing. What does get me, is did she think Angelo wasn’t going to show up at the *&^(%$ fashion show, so that’s why she didn’t warn Melissa? Melissa had no idea what was coming.

Teresa isn’t that smart, she should have figured out the set up was going to continue….a good person would have warned Melissa BEFORE the fashion show. Perhaps this is why everyone is so mad at her.

Then when Teresa does talk to Melissa, it’s too late. Damage is done.

  48. Exit4 says:

This may seem weird but it seemed like Jac was jealous that Tree and Melissa were getting along. Like she couldn’t be around them if she wasn’t being the red or giving advice. Although I will give her a slight pass because it may have had something to do with Nick and her being uncomfortable having him on camera.

  49. Exit4 says:

Teresa looks like a deer in headlights. The lightbulb went on. And Kim d. Is smiling. Hmmmm

  50. Vote in the poll during the commercial. Who was responsible.

  51. Zoey says:

Go Sonja! Love the preview. She dropped Adiva like a hot potato! ‘I’m done with you!’. Love it.

  52. cusi77 says:

Hmmm.. Prodution guys making Kim D asking for more s!t!

  53. klmh says:

I just hope the rest of T. family gets it.

  54. WindyCityWondering says:

Teresa knows she is getting set up.

  55. MamaZ says:

Maybe people wouldn’t believe Melissa was a stripper if she stopped dressing like one.

  56. Zoey says:

Agree with Melissa, this Kim D chick needs to go!

  57. disgrazia4 says:

    The Sourpuss has arrived, LOL

  58. Zoey says:

I thought Caroline had a boob reduction a while back? Those puppies still look massive.

  59. Exit4 says:

Even if Teresa gave melissa heads up or decided not to go… The stripper rumors were coming out simply due to the conversation in the salon. I’m sure Jac will say that Teresa planned the whole thing and is making it look like Kim set it up. That would invoke more forethought than I believe Teresa has. Plus, she isn’t that good of an actress. OMG Kim is asking ALOT of leading questions…. WOW

  60. disgrazia4 says:

Jac isn’t on another page this night. She’s reading a whole other book.

  61. klmh says:

So glad Rich didn’t come. I’ve seen enough of him this evening.

  62. klmh says:

I hope anyone who visits Kim D.’s store spills wine all over the clothes.

  63. NJBev says:

This Kim has gotta love it. All this drama makes
her fashion show more and more popular, and
translates into money for her. She can’t
act for sh*t, and even tho the Producers set this
crap up, she lovin acting like this is all “just happens
to fall in place, in time for her fashion show”

I think Kim D. is such a dirt bag. And. Bitch,
you are too GD old for those cheesy looking

  64. disgrazia4 says:

    Teresa, just don’t say anything.

  65. CdnFillie says:

I am so over Kim D ….. Yuuuuccckkk

  66. NJBev says:

Yeah, Teresa, this is all Jacks fault.
    uh huh.

  67. WindyCityWondering says:

Theresa Caputo has a cute show – why do we have to be subjected to Wacky Jacky?!

  68. Zoey says:

Who is the lady with the giant black leather uniboob? Do not know her.

  69. disgrazia4 says:

Andy is sooo happy with his successful show. What a viper. Teresa Caputo, rip the veil away!

  70. COCFarm says:

What is this woman wearing on wwhl? Somethin’s gotta give!

  71. disgrazia4 says:

Wrong question. It’s not the one we’re interested in.

  72. MamaZ says:

    Jaq like Kim D?

  73. mrs peabody says:

Do you think the housewives saw this weeks episode before they had the reunion?

  74. Zoey says:

I respectfully wish Lynn’s spirit would be in the clubhouse, and maybe drop something on Andy’s head!

  75. VV says:

Here is the way Melissa is spinning it:
“Hmmm.. Kim D doesn’t have enough reason to want to do this to me… Maybe someone made her do it…”

  76. WindyCityWondering says:

So is Jac sober? She is wired really tight tonight. Maybe she is scared of the medium???

  77. WindyCityWondering says:

Andy doesn’t know what do with the show tonight!

  78. VV says:

    Joey Gorga tweeted:
“Let’s get something straight there is nothing wrong with stripping I love strippers LOL it’s the lying and the set up”

Bravo helped if not set you up, you Moron!!!

    • MamaZ says:

Exactly! But nobody is pissed at Andy, Bravo or Kim D. Just Teresa.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

When did “dancing” turn into “stripping”?

      • NJBev says:

        wow. good point.

      • klmh says:

Ooo, good point is right. Did T. say that to M. in the preview next week? I think so…

      • The Tin Man says:

Dancing turns into stripping when you take your clothes off while you’re doing it.

      • Zoey says:

        This is true. Good point.

      • LaineyLainey says:

Dancing in a gentleman’s club is the first cousin of stripping, unless you’re dancing fully clothed like in a parka. The purpose of dancing, stripping or lingerie modeling is titillation. If someone were accusing Mel of just dancing…like at Lincoln Center in pointe shoes and a tutu then the whole dancing accusation/denial/set-up wouldn’t be an issue. Mel is offended and upset because it’s something she isn’t proud of or because she feels betrayed by having a family member “out” her…(if indeed she danced in a gentleman’s club), or she’s upset because it’s a lie and she wants to clear her name.

    • LaineyLainey says:

Yeah VV, but Bravo is signing those checks that are financing his wife’s aspiring rock star/pop star career.

  79. Cartwheels says:

So far there is no doubt in my mind that Bravo and Kim D set this up but now that I have listen to Jacqueline another thought is in my mind.
Jacqueline is seen texting on her cell phone and Lauren says something is fishy, then in WWHL Jacqueline said that a mutual friend of them gave them all the details and how this supposedly was Teresa’s doing and I kept thinking who is that mutual “friend” and the name of Kim G. popped in my mind, after all Jacqueline went to her house after the fashion show.
Is there any chance that Kim G. knew what was going to happened and filled Jacqueline’s ears with lies about Teresa? Is it possible that Kim G. in order to save Kim D. has made Jacqueline believe that all this has been set up by Teresa?

  80. VV says:

    Naughty but Nice Rob Tweeted:

“Several folks told me @Teresa_Giudice had nothing to do with setting @melissagorga up at the fashion show. Feel bad that she will get blamed”

  81. Zoey says:

That guy was so sleazy. ‘She danced for me’. Meaning she worked there, if she did. What a creep.

    • NJBev says:

Yeah, he was just the sleaziest of the sleaze. He wanted his 15
minutes, and I feel bad that Teresa got involved. And I’ll bet
she’s sorry she got involved, even if it was in the minimal of ways(and
I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt here)
The look on her face when Melissa said “well, lets just call your brother”
was one of genuine fright. She feels bad for
getting involved, imo, I don’t think she ever thought it would turn into

      • PJ says:

I don’t think Teresa was involved. But it is interesting how Melissa went there right away.

      • Lady Chatterley says:

I think you’re right on here, NJB. I think that these creeps and KimD approached Bravo w/this. I think that Teresa has been aware of these “rumors” for quite a while and was okay w/KimD outing Melissa, as long as she wasn’t implicated. But, once it all blew up…I don’t think she thought ahead about how messy it was going to be and the likelihood that she would catch some of that blowback. She should have shut it down immediately and distanced herself. And I don’t mean hiding around the corner while the conversation continued…

        • The Tin Man says:

Hiding around the corner and listening, while she said she didn’t want to hear it, she sure didn’t go far enough away so she couldn’t hear it. She WANTED to hear what the guy had to say, and she believed it.

        • disgrazia4 says:

Funny but I didn’t see that at all. I saw T shut that convo down with Anthony. It looked like she wanted it to end and thought that was the end, Kim D and Bravo had other plans of course…

          • NJBev says:

When she wanted the conversation shut down “about her
family” she threw Andy across the room and turned into the exorcist.
            (reunion) .
She was in no way determined to shut his convo down. imo

Maybe, she may have wanted to look like the “hero”……….
let this thing go and put Mel in a bad light, and then try to
“save the day” But the body was already burning and she
couldn’t put the flames out. I feel bad for Tre. I don’t think
she wanted this to turn out like this, but she did NOTHING
            to shut it down. Sucks.

            • melthehound says:

Damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.

After the two season beating she’s taken from her Angel From God brother and his wife, I don’t think she owed them any loyalty to shut Anything down.

            • disgrazia4 says:

I thought she threw Andy across the room because he was trying to hold her back from Danielle. She was in another zone that night when she was again defending her family’s privacy, a switch had turned. I’m watching this for the third time as I finish the folding. Kim played Tre brilliantly by turning the conversation away as T was getting upset (she kept the switch from turning). Then it was Kim who wanted to ask that one last question, how long ago. “Look like a hero”? T doesn’t think that fast. Her face didn’t look calculating, she looked like she was flustered. She left the room for the question. If she was trying to be a hero that was the perfect time to make a speech about family. No, she was set up by Kim and looked like a deer in the headlights. I feel bad for her. This was all Bravo and Kim D.

I read Kim’s twitter tonight. She and Mel’s sister, Lysa were having words. Kim is a tough broad.

@melissagorga keep your little mouth shut baby doll. u don’t wanna experience my wrath.

She says she had nothing to do with the set up but I don’t believe her for a minute. She was pissed at the Gorga’s because they embarrassed her by not paying her friend for the Xmas party he catered. He was going to put them on blast for not paying and she intervened saying they would and still they didn’t. That’s the way I heard it at least. That she doesn’t like them is apparent:

              Patti ‏@Bravolebrity1
@KimDPosche I must ask: did u have anything to do with bringing @melissagorga’s old manager to the fashio n show? Did you set her up? #RHONJ

              2h Kim DePaola ‏@KimDPosche
@Bravolebrity1 @melissagorga of course not. shady paths follow a person wherever they go. believe me i was not needed to facilitate anything

Finally, why go through the effort of trying to make it work only to destroy thr relationship she was trying to build? Doesn’t make sense. Teresa would do anything for her girls and they want the relationship mended, they want to see their cousin. Your scenario just doesn’t work, IMO.

              • NJBev says:

well, You’ll have to excuse me that I’m not privy to the “tweets”. I also didn’t have the luxury of watching the show 3 times, so perhaps my scenario would have changed.
I’ve said it before and I don’t think I’ll say it again, we all see the show differently.
It’s come to the point that I have finally realized that no matter what I say or how I say
it in regards to this show, there is no respect for another opinion.

Case in point, down thread mr. mel the hound, who I had always had the highest
regard for, says after one of my posts “I’m calling Bullshit on that one too”
(Because I feel that Tre should’ve given Mel a heads up.)
I’m not going to belabor this. Anyone who may see things a little differently
around here(not see Teresa as a victim) is clearly not welcome here.

I love my Lynnfam, and you all know who you are
                (all of you!!) peace, love,
                and happiness to you all.
Most of all, I love and miss(profoundly) Lynn. I pray to God she’s happy with
the direction the site is going. Maybe when you write the blog, consider Lynns
opinion regarding the housewives. it is, after all, her blog.

peace out, please , no offense intended to anyone and God Bless you
all for carrying out Lynns’ dreams. She should be so proud that the
love and devotion to her was/is so great that so many work so hard to keep
her beloved family together. God Bless……………

                • disgrazia4 says:

Bev, I hope your not angry with me for voicing my opinion, there was no anger or malice in my heart for you or your opinion when I was writing it. After I finished the laundry I had a bit of insomnia and looked at the Jersey tweets and, reading that you hadn’t seen them, I posted some for you and whoever else wanted to read them. If my tone read harsh, please know in my head I was only having a conversation with you and gossiping in a light hearted manner, LOL. As a virgo I have a tendency to analyze subjects. I read MTH’s comment but I failed to pick up any bullying in the comment he made. I must be made of denser stuff than you. Mama always told me I have a hard head, LOL. I will try to be more sensitive to your more delicate sensibility in regards to conversing with you. Sorry for any inadvertent offense I may have made against you. Be well.

                • Zoey says:

NJBev, I totally see where you’re coming from, and I think Lynn would too. She often intervened in the NJ ‘debates’, lol. I wish you would stay, as I really enjoy your posts. You are a family member. Hope you have a great day, hugs!

  82. mrs peabody says:

There is no way Teresa was in on that, no way, that was all Kim and that guy.

  83. klmh says:

What is the bad blood between Kim D and Melissa before this event, other than Kim talking poorly about her husband, does anyone know? I can’t remember…

    • MamaZ says:

Something about the big Christmas party the Gorgas had last seaon. The event planner was Kim D’s friend and supposedly the Gorgas owe him $ for the party.

      • Cartwheels says:

        It wouldn’t surprise me.
What still surprises me is Melissa still tweeting that the brain behind the set up was Teresa when it is so obvious that it was Kim D. and Bravo.

Maybe Melissa doesn’t want to believe that from her production chummies but there were in this set up knee deep.

        • MamaZ says:

If Melissa blamed the people she knows are really responsible she would lose her place in the limelight. So she blames Teresa. But family is EVERYTHING to mel and Joey. Disgusting.

        • klmh says:

I agree with you at this point, but I think we will be able to see the truth at the reunion. I hope so anyway. Its torn a family apart for a year. I can’t even imagine… Who the hell would put this damned TV show before family? Bravo obviously hired these people correctly.

        • NJBev says:

I would think that Melissa knows that production set
the wheels in motion. I think, imo, that the Gorga’s
would be PISSED that Teresa did not give them the
heads up on what was coming, and I think Teresa
knows she screwed up with that as well.
If that was my SIL and she didn’t tell me what was
going on, I would blame her completely as well.
imo, shame on her, she knew better. She may
not be fully responsible but she lied by omission.

          • MamaZ says:

I’m torn about that. I see your point but did she know Angelo was going to be at the fashion show? If not why would she even think to tell her before the event? Also even telling Melissa and Joey she heard a rumour could be enough to stir up crap between them again.

            • Lady Chatterley says:

At this time, she and Melissa were supposed to be close. She should have, at the very least, shared w/Melissa what happened at the salon (and this is assuming that she wasn’t part of it, and I don’t believe that). Then, she and Melissa could have come to some agreement about what to do w/that information.

              • MamaZ says:

I agree but if she didn’t know the guy was coming why would she have told her at the fashion show? It looks in next weeks episode she does tell Melissa in private what the guy said and the s**t hits the fan and ends up all over Teresa.

                • NJBev says:

If I were tre and saw the guy come to the table,
I would have yanked Melissa off the table and
told her what happened that afternoon. Then she
could just sit back and let the chips fall where
                  they may…………

          • klmh says:

If T. is innocent, I wouldn’t expect him at the fashion show either and since it was on the same day, she probably didn’t want to bring it up.

          • melthehound says:

Damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.

      • Called A Princess... says:

Money? The party cost $50,000. A lot of money!

        • no way Jose that party cost $50,000. That’s the party expense, PLUS a huge amount for the party planner! $10,000 would have more than covered the expense. Plus this was for charity (supposedly, didn’t look like they raised ANY $ for charity to me!) so the food, servers, etc. should have been donated. In a way, I don’t blame the Gorgas for not paying, I wouldn’t want to be the sucker that paid $50,000 for that ridiculous extravaganza either. AND didn’t the party planner, Mr. Fred or whatever, get PLENTY of FREE ADVERTISING too?

I really feel bad for Melissa. She’s being nailed to the cross for her past, not fair IMO. All because these maroons want to have “a singing career,” be a “cookbook author” etc. this family allowed Bravo to make their personal lives into an over the top drama filled soap opera. I don’t believe anybody for this fiasco, they are too willing to allow Bravo to destroy their family, all for the opportunity for business ventures/careers and of course the $. We are fools for caring.

          • LaineyLainey says:

yes, that does seem excessive. But didn’t the Gorga’s agree to the amount. I think I remember the party planner coming over and discussing the cost with them. I could be wrong.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

      • MamaZ says:

I don’t understand Jaq still liking Kim D after seeing her gloat and beg for dirt about Melissa after Teresa asked her stop.

        • Did she mean pole in the first tweet?

        • LaineyLainey says:

That’s Jac for ya. She did the same with Danielle. She’s one shady lady.

        • klmh says:

That’s what blew me away too. Then I thought, you know Kim is a gossip and Jacq said you don’t want to make her mad. Probably some skeletons in the closet and we now know Kim will bring them out.
Im happy Joe Gorga said something about doing a line, just to throw crap in her face too. Bad me…

          • disgrazia4 says:

He got some crap tonight from a paisano telling him it didn’t look like Teresa knew what was going on and think about your unhealthy father and how could you do this to your family to which he retweeted and wrote an FU.

            • klmh says:

It hurts when others bring up a family member’s ill health issue in that situation.
I wish they would think about this whole experience as a big cancer in their lives that is killing them. 1 year out of those children’s lives not being able to enjoy their cousins or not spending time with each other. Everyone of these people is killing the other, and for what? Money.
              Dumb, dumber, dumbest.

      • NJBev says:

I don’t know much about tweeting, but this last tweet looks
like it was sent TO Jack FROM Kim, am I wrong??

        • LaineyLainey says:

yes, NJBev, it was from Kimd to Jac. I assumed she was throwing some love her way because of her comments on WWHL. “I like Kim! but don’t make her mad.”

          • NJBev says:

thanks lainey. I can see that now
            that you’ve explained it.

          • disgrazia4 says:

The reply Kim got was a bit funny in a mean girl way:

I often will watch NJ again, just because it comes on again after WWHL, but I cannot take another second of Caroliar (good one Rebecca!).

  85. NJBev says:

    What was the poll results?????

  86. PJ says:

I don’t think Teresa set Melissa up, possibly the other way around. If there was a set up, which I suspect there was, I think Teresa was the one being set up so these other females could all have something to hate her for and a reason to call her names. These lovely women sure don’t wait around for facts to be discovered they go right for the kill. It looks like it may be possible that Melissa was a stripper.

    • klmh says:

So you think Melissa did it to hurt Teresa? You don’t think the stripper label will hurt Melissa? You think this is the way she and her husband would like the public to see her? Interesting…

      • Orson says:

No, in setting up T they set up M too. They pretty much managed to end that possible reconciliation between the siblings.

      • Rebecca says:

        I do! I do! Here’s why…………

the Gorgas have hired the ultimate spin doctor – Jonathan Cheban. He’s at all her events, tweeting her, posing for photos. He has made a living stirring up crap for his client’s publicity.

        • disgrazia4 says:

I don’t know. Does he tweet nasty stuff about Teresa because I know Mel’s sisters do and Greggy does and now Lauren. But those sister’s have been running their mouths for a while. They must attend The Don’s School of Malignant behavior, LOL

    • NJBev says:

I think that would be kinda tough to prove~

    • I think it was all production and Kim D – not Mel, Kathy, Jacq or Caroline.

      • Called A Princess... says:

I think that Melissa knew the risk when she went on the show. So she is going to turn it around and use it to her advantage by blaming Teresa. Melissa is a relentless snake. Victim not! IMO.

    • Cartwheels says:

I don’t think Melissa set up Teresa, but I do think that given the circunstances she made the best of it, she finally could nail Teresa to the wall and blame her for everything under the sun, same the Wakiles, Manzos and Lauritas. The only way they can explain the despicable way they have treated Teresa for two seasons is to make her the culprit of this fiasco (whether she is or not is irrelevant).
They already know by now that she didn’t set anything up but they will die saying that they know “for sure” , that they were told “in confidence”, that “sources” told them the truth about Teresa setting this up. There is no other way to explain why they are all friendly with Kim D. and could care less about who really set Melissa up.
BTW and for the record, the same applies for every house wife, if you have skeletons in your closet do not join a reality TV set. I can care less if she danced, stripped or was a hooker, just don’t go around pretending that somebody has “set you up” when this comes to light, just own it like Nene and then there is no problem.

  87. VV says:

    Kim D Tweeted:
“@melissagorga hey baby doll, why didn’t u say all the shit you’re running out of your mouth 2 weeks ago? stick to your night job hot shot”

  88. boston02127 says:

Did Richie say his wife taste like fish?

  89. boston02127 says:

Teresa is making her kids lunch and Jac has to zing her. No matter what T does, Jac has to throw in a zing.

  90. MamaZ says:

    Good night everyone.

  91. WindyCityWondering says:

Would it be far fetched to believe that Melissa and her grabby goron husband have been pestering Bravo for more money and air time and Bravo hit back with the dancer set up? Everyone was miked, everyone had to sign a consent so Angelo did what was asked of him both at the Salon and the fashion show. And all the husbands were close by (I saw Richie the Fishmonger there when Joey Gorga was yelling at Kim outside) because a casino was the order of the day.

  92. ATLnNYC09 says:

Looks like the Jersey Kim’s got all of those housewives number. They know all the skeletons in those closets.

    • Cartwheels says:

Yeap , no wonder Jacqueline and even Caro Manzo do not want to go against her. Even Melissa is trying to excuse her now by saying that she has nothing against her and that somebody (namely Teresa) put Kim up for it.

    • klmh says:

The good thing about this is, Kim D.’s little boutique will be slammed, and not in a good way, beginning tomorrow. I would love to be a fly on the wall when they are open for business. She deserves everything she gets. What she did was evil.

  93. VV says:

So, according to Melissa and Kathy they couldn’t tell Teresa they had joined RHONJ because they were asked by Bravo not to tell her, you know confidentiality agreements, wavers etc etc. That was their excuse.
So, now some are saying Teresa should have given the heads up to Melissa about her ex boss. How do we know Teresa was told by Bravo not to mention anything? and why was Melissa so pissed about seeing her old boss if she was just a bartender? Something about Melissa’s reaction seemed fake. She just kept telling Teresa she couldn’t remember him almost IMO as if she knew Teresa knew who he was.

    • NJBev says:

if it’s true that Melissa and Kathy were told that they
couldn’t say anything, then you’re right. It would be a breach of contract.
I don’t know if what happened here would be considered
      a breach of contract.
You see Melissa’s reaction as fake, and I respect that. But many
would say that they saw Teresa’s reaction as fake, and I would be one
      of them.
You see the same show I do and we see a totally different show~
You are not wrong, and neither am I.

tomato tamahto I think this show is proof positive that we all see
the same things differently. lol I think Lynn would agree.

    • melthehound says:

So, now some are saying Teresa should have given the heads up to Melissa

I’m calling Bullshit on that one too.

      • NJBev says:

I take it you’re addressing that to me. ^^^^^^^^
Pray tell, what is the Bullshit you’re calling??

        • The way I am reading it is, that Teresa doesn’t owe Melissa the courtesy of a heads up since when the shoe was the the other foot, Melissa not only didn’t do the same thing for her but was the one who facilitated it.

          • NJBev says:

hope the girls are doing well, and gave you
            a “headacheless” summer!! I don’t remember if
either one of them was starting school this year
(both under 5, right?- sorry if I’m wrong) I hope
they kept the toys in the playroom, and out of their
tummies!! Anyway, I know they keep you busy in
the best way, and I wish I could have those days
back with my daughter(famous for beads in the nose!!)
I wish you the best of everything, you have always
put a smile on my face!!

            • Hi my NJBev (hug).
Yes, by 5 year old started kindergarten and my 3 year old started preschool.
Funny you mentioned the swallowing toys, my friend posted an X-ray of her child’s lungs on facebook because she was has been having trouble breathing for a while (they have been treating her for asthma and had her take allergy tests) so I tried to reassure her by saying it looked a lot like the X-rays of my girls, minus the penny.

Your post sounds like a ‘farewell’. I hope that is not the case. I know RONJ tends to rock the boat here and bring out strong opinions but you are important to many of us and would be missed.

        • NJBev says:

I’m well aware that you do not give a “bleep” about my opinion. Obviously. But I would be lying if I said that I didn’t care, or that it didn’t matter to me. It did.

At one time I considered your opinion as something to be respected. I enjoyed
your posts, as well as your re-caps.

It’s okay to say you don’t agree with something, but to go out the “lazy” way
and just say “I call Bullshit on that one too” well, that’s not only just
freakin lazy, it’s rude, and disrespectful to the the point that I realize
ever having respect for your opinion was just a mistake on my part.

I know that you are well respected here, and I also know that you are a very
intelligent person. I wish you the best of everything and I apologize for being so
ignorant that you had to “just call Bullshit on me too”—

          • COCFarm says:

He was calling bullshit to a line in VV’s post. Not to VV herself. His comment is indented under her comment which means he is responding to it as well. You did not enter into it njbev.

            • klmh says:

I don’t think so. MTH is a big supporter of Teresa’s and he put it in the wrong place. jmo.
I also think that his loyalty is blind in certain instances, and he has difficulty trying to see anything other than his gut opinion, which I am driven to at times myself, as is everyone here. He is shooting straight, but words like that hurt when taken personally. I don’t think he meant it though. He’s just pissed, and now NJB is too, and I don’t blame her.

    • mrs peabody says:

I don’t think TEresa had anything to do with this but I think given she has been on the show for 4 years now and knows how Bravo edits things to fit their storyline I think she had a bad feeling about what could possibly happen. I think she may have felt they were up to something but not necessarily what it could be. I really think she was truly surprised at the make-up session when he said that and really did not want anything said on camera about her sister in law. I think that was because she knew by then she would get blamed for it like she had all season and it upset her. She said more than once her heart was pounding and she said after the guy confronted Melissa. The look on Melissa’s face told me she knew exactly who this guy was and what was probably going to happen. I think the only one who didn’t was Jacq and Caroline and they are po’d that they weren’t told by teresa even though i don’t think she knew what was going to happen.

  94. VV says:

    Jac Tweeted this:
“All I can say is….pay attention to the sub titles in next episode and people that forget they are still mic’d. ;0)”

Which I find interesting because, I don’t trust Bravo’s CC. There is a poster that is hearing impaired, I think her name is Donna and she has mentioned how she doesn’t trust Bravo’s CC that she has caught them on occasion putting stuff in subtitles that she didn’t see the person say ( she reads lips)
I also don’t trust Bravo voice over because we know they can take comments from here and there or out of sequence whatever it takes to fit their storyline.

  95. VV says:

Okay people/blogger/cast tweeting the ‘same phrase’:
“people forget their mics are on” sounds like Bravo leaked this info IMO.

  96. boston02127 says:

Soooo (sigh) Asshley’s new tattoo reads, I came I saw I conquered.

I’ll just leave that there. I’m too tired to snark at it. There’s so much to snark at.

  97. Countess Lillybee says:

I have never been a Theresa fan but from what I could see tonight, the dumb girl was set up.

  98. Cartwheels says:

Did Teresa owed Melissa the courtesy of a heads up?
Uhmm, some might say she did because they were family and that it was the right thing to do.

But going with past history look what happened when Teresa (without cameras and no filming) told Joey Gorga about the rumors she had heard about Melissa being a gold digger? Her own brother used that private information to slam her down the head several times on camera, the Manzos and Lauritas used that information to let Teresa know that she should have never “tried to break a marriage” . A big to do about Teresa giving Joey the “heads up” , and now they all wonder why Teresa didn’t get on her cell phone and immediately called them? .

Teresa met this guy Angelo at a hair salon, then they got into a limo and went to the party. How could she possibly know that the guy would show up there too? Teresa got agitated when she shut down the combo because she is thinking that this guy running her mouth is going to affect the little ground she has won in her relationship with her brother. Bravo probably kept this guy out of sight at the party and Teresa never saw him until he approached them at the table, notice he comes from behind.

BTW did anybody noticed a moment when the filming stopped and went black? I wonder if Teresa put her hand on the camera? the next thing I know is that she left the room. Teresa probably thought that by her leaving the room, there was no reason to keep filming this guy.

Like Mel said, Teresa was going to make culprit one way or another, if she said something, she was going to get blamed for “spreading rumors”, if she didn’t, because she didn’t give them a “heads up”

BTW, wht would Teresa give Melissa the heads up if in fact Melissa doesn’t know this guy?

  99. PJ says:

Just like you follow a money trail, you have to ask yourself who benefited from this set up? It looks like the only person who didn’t benefit is Teresa. Every other person on this show did benefit so how many of them are involved in this set up of Teresa?

    • Orson says:

I’m still unclear on how Melissa benefited by this. I think only Bravo got something out of this. One thing that I haven’t read any comments on is one of the previews, the Teresa vs Jackie clip. I can see T declaring her innocence of the set up, I agree with that. But what no one’s commented on is how without stopping to take another breath, T accuses J of setting it up. And I think that says something for the way T thinks. It wasn’t a decision, it was a reaction.

  100. MamaZ says:

CC is often wrong and not just on Bravo. I mentioned that one of my BILs is deaf. I have watched TV with him and caught many mistakes with the CC.

    • klmh says:

Oh for heaven’s sake. This may not be solved. Im out if not. I though, can’t believe there are families like this that exist. This just left me so sad last night. I’ve lost the nearest and dearest in my family, and we had the best relationship. How are these people going to justify this behavior when a member of their family is lost? Will they look back and say, we wanted money so we allowed this to happen to us, or are they going to say, meh, tough cookies? I think the tough cookies attitude is the answer for some of them. So sad for this family in every way. Complete nuclear family failure.
      Im off my soapbox now…
