Housewife News by NoMoreDrama
Thing have gotten even uglier in the divorce between Adrienne Maloff and Paul Nassif. Normally when abuse is alleged – it is hard to clear your name. This time – according to a report by TMZ – Paul has already been cleared by the Department of Children and Family Services. After interviewing the boys, they’ve written a report: “categorically concluding there was no such abuse.” According to TMZ sources: “Paul is going to court Wednesday to ask a judge to throw out the temporary custody order — along with the order prohibiting Paul from going near his kids — on grounds Adrienne phonied the claim. What’s more, we’re told Paul will ask for sanctions against his estranged wife, claiming she viciously concocted the abuse story to get revenge.” One additional tidbit of information from the article. Dr. Sophy – Taylor Armstong’s doctor, had previously submitted something claiming he interviewed the boys and they verified the abuse. The really strange thing is that Sophy is in charge of DCFS for LA County. TMZ didn’t report if it was the same agency (could be a different county or the state?). See an older article here. Early this morning, TMZ posted a new exclusive report after they heard from Paul. Paul will be asking for joint custody of the boys, saying the kids need a mom and dad. His quote: “I just want this crap to stop. We need to be co-parents, no matter how we feel about each other.” Paul and Adrienne’s mansion – featured on the show – is also on the market.
The Maloof family’s basketball team – the Sacramento Kings – has been featured on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yesterday the Seattle City Council approved building a new sports stadium. Rumor has it that the Kings are the team Seattle billionaire Chris Hanson has his eyes on. I’m not a big basketball fan – but here’s an interesting article on how the Maloof family has really done some major PR damage in Sacramento. Read it Here
Teresa Giudice will be on Anderson Live today.
Rosie Pierri was the darling of the Real Housewives of New Jersey this season, winning Andy’s Mazel of the NJ season on Sunday. The next day she was under twitter fire for a video posted on Bravo’s site with Rosie screaming obscenities at her cousin Teresa Giudice. This is a departure for the normally unflappable Rosie – who emerged as a fan favorite during the dark season. Rosie was frustrated on twitter yesterday, responding to a tweet about Teresa: “she was never by my side my sister always was! oh the bullshit just gets better &better !”
Bethenny Frankel’s talk show was not only picked up, but it’s been picked up by FOX and will be shown nationally. Bethenny tweeted out the news Monday night and has posted information on her website.
Looks like Flipping Out will begin to heat up this season. Jenni Pulos and Jeff Lewis have an interview with US Weekly where they discuss the big fight that almost led to the end of their relationship – both professional and personal. “Any time you’re doing a major remodel with your spouse it’s very stressful. Doing that and trying to balance our business was challenging and the relationship took its toll. I acted out on Gage, on Jenni, on [maid] Zoila [Chavez]. It was kind of a rough season for me.” Fans of the show will see Jenni and Jeff go to therapy to work things out. “I’ve never been so angry with Jenni and we’ve never had a fight like that. It was out of control,” Jeff is quoted as saying.
Ratings Gold. Viewers were far from done with the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The season finale brought in the highest ratings of the season (watched by 3.4 million viewers) and second highest finale (nothing has topped the table flip in S1 yet). Not only that – but the Watch What Happens Live episode that followed (with Kelly and Mark) brought in 2.2 million viewers – which are enormous numbers for the talk show and the first time it’s been over the 2 million viewer mark. Compare this to this season’s Real Housewives of New York which declined in viewership slightly this week to 1.7 million viewers. People don’t seem to like the same fight dragged out for 5 weeks in a row, and the endless stream of charity events and lunches are beginning to lose viewer’s interest. Perhaps the veterans – LuAnn, Ramona, and Sonja, should have agreed to the rumored Producers’ request to extend filming into Fashion Week last winter. According to Huffington Post in April of last year: “LuAnn [de Lesseps], Sonja [Morgan] and Ramona [Singer] refused to shoot any scenes at Fashion Week in February, complaining that production was dragging on well past the date that was agreed upon, so they went on strike. Ultimately, they did return to tape a final few scenes, but it’s not fair that they should have to give up their time, with no extra pay, just so the slower new girls can learn how to tape a TV show.” Read it here Carole Radziwill had tweeted a while back that she needed to be in New York for filming through the fall – but other than that we haven’t heard much about who is returning.
Flipping Out – “Talented Mr. Coleman” By Keida
The opening scene is Jenny feeding cream cheese to a cat. Ew. So Andrew (Coleman) has a new haircut and Jeff says it looks like Gage, which I think will ruffle Gage’s feathers. I don’t like Gage. Well, because of his inappropriate comments Andrew is on probation, so Jeff sends him to Gramercy to clean the stove. Andrew smiles and says okay. He really hates it, but he doesn’t say a word. Is he learning? I doubt it. Jeff says that no longer will he fire anyone; it costs too much. Now he’ll just make the working environment impossible so they quit. Of course, Gage gets in his passive aggressive dig. Jeff and Jenny head over to Lisa’s office, but she’s busy, so they play with her shoes, Kangoos. They look like weird stilt like shoes that are aerodynamically bouncy athletic shoes, or something. But they make so much noise running up and down the hallway that an executive complains about them. Not wanting to aggravate his powerful client, both Jenny and Jeff sit down quickly and act professional. Back at Gramercy, Gage shows up to check on Andrew. He asks Andrew if he’s rigged the stove so that it’ll explode. Andrew says of course, but make sure Jeff uses it first. While walking away, Gage replies that he thought Andrew would want to get rid of him first. Yeah right. That’s Gage’s m.o. At least that’s what he did last season with Sarah, Trace, Jett, and even Jenny, but that didn’t work. I don’t trust Gage. Andrew agrees with me because in his talking head he says Gage is always in Jeff’s ear and he’s (Gage) is kind of an ass. Jeff and Jenny are in route somewhere and decide to stop in a hardware-like store to buy Zoila some gag gifts for her birthday. Instead they buy ski masks that have openings for the eyes and mouth only, typical gear for thieves. They buy them and decide to wear them home. OMG! That’s hilarious. It’s even funnier when they stop people on the street, and Jenny asks them where the 7-11 is, where the bank is, but it’s not that impressive to the pedestrians. That is until Deb takes over. Deb asks a guy where’s the closest bank, and the guy says that there’s a liquor store right there they can rob. Hahahaha! I swear Jeff. He always makes Jenny do the crazy things, but this was funny.
Back at West Knoll, Jeff starts wheedling Andrew about things he doesn’t follow up on. Of course, Andrew makes excuses. He feels the need to qualify his actions. He doesn’t get that Jeff just wants him to admit the behavior. Later, Jeff continues to harp on Andrew. He threatens to write the word “dipshit” on his forehead if he forgets another thing. Isn’t that a human resources thing? Where’s Jenny to police Jeff? Andrew asks Vanina if Jeff speaks to her the same way. Vanina says no. She never makes mistakes. Witch. Andrew is realizing he’s the punch line of the office. Don’t people know that if you work for Jeff you have to entertain him, which means making him laugh by embarrassing yourself and letting everyone laugh at you.
That night is Zoila’s birthday dinner. Jeff feels the need to one-up his last gift. I don’t know how you can one-up plastic surgery, but he’s planning on it. During the dinner, the waiter brings tequila. Jeff, Jenny, Gage, Nancy (the new Jett), Vanina, and Andrew are there. Everyone takes a shot and as soon as they do, Jeff covers their mouth and shakes their head, while Jenny blows the whistle. Apparently, it’s something that he and his friends used to do in Tijuana. I don’t know. Zoila embarrasses Jeff by pretending to perform an act on her dessert. Ew. On the way back to the house, they see his gift to Zoila. It’s a black Mercedes SUV! Holy crap! He really loves her. It’s these sweet moments that you can see Jeff’s Grinch heart. He loves Zoila. I’m surprised that Gage isn’t planning on pushing her down the stairs or something.
During a meeting with Lisa, her husband tells Jeff that because of their insurance, they have to move back in to their house in one week. One week?! They have 5 weeks’ worth of work. I don’t think that’s going to happen, but Jeff plans to pull other crew from other job sites and put them on this one. Good luck with that. Back at the office, Andrew says that he’s being subpoenaed for the fire. What fire? The fire that the schizophrenic who lives in the condo below his started. Um what? This doesn’t sound right. Do you ever get that feeling that it’s b-s when people start telling you these far-fetched stories? My mother did this often, so I recognize that feeling in others. This story screams, “Bullsh*t!” Anyway, Jeff starts in on him again, but this time Andrew starts belittling himself, which makes Jeff take up for Andrew. Nice reverse psychology, Andrew. To prove himself to Jeff, Andrew asks to take over the Calabasas site (Lisa’s house). Andrew lets him, and of course, cut to Gage who’s staring directly at the two of them. His facial expression clearly says, “No!” but he only says, “Don’t fuck it up.” While he’s doing that, Jeff and Jenny check on his other clients. At the job site, Andrew is making some inappropriate comments to the electrician whom he finds attractive. No, no, no. Here’s where I agree with Gage.
In the car ride while discussing Jenny’s invitations, the subject of Andrew’s home address perplexes Jeff, Jenny and Vanina. He’s told them two different addresses, so Jeff calls Gage to check payroll, which has a third address. Okay. I have to say when I heard the cockamamie trust fund story where he has to have a job or else he won’t have his lifestyle paid for, I thought, “Bullsh*t!” Wasn’t that a Three Stooges episode? Yeah right. That’s a lie. Then they find out that not only has he lied about his address, but he’s lied about his boyfriend’s job. He’s told Jenny that his man works from home, Jeff that he’s in the military, and Vanina that he’s a producer in New York. Mm hmm. Darn that Gage. He’s right. Back at Calabasas, Andrew is doing a phenomenal job overseeing the project, so he decides to call Jeff to give him an update on the progress so far, but Jeff isn’t answering. No one’s answering the office phone. Hmm…what could be going on? Yeah, everyone is comparing notes trying to figure out what all lies you have told. When he makes it back, the tension is palpable. Jeff being direct when he’s found out someone has lied to him, don’t these people know Jeff has trust issues. You can’t break his trust or he’ll go mental on you. Jeff comes out and call him on it. What does Andrew do? He says it’s none of Jeff’s business. Um what? That’s your boss and you’ve just told MANY lies. He gets defensive when asked direct questions from Jeff and you can literally see him try to come up with another lie. Finally he gets fed up and tells Jeff that he’s leaving. Essentially, he’s quit. No discussion, no coming clean. Just up and left. Not only left, but sped away with the squealing of tires and a toss of a permit out of the window. Damn. I hate it when Gage is right.
Real Housewives of New Jersey Cast Blogs, Blogged by Ramonacoaster with Photos by Boston
Wow! Caro wrote six sentences. Thanks for the short blog! One of her sentences was I got nothing. I hope that’s the same attitude you take to the reunion so that the camera won’t pan to your face of misery so often.
Sometimes I like Melissa. If anything, you’re getting a good picture of what knowing Melissa is like: she can be fun and sweet and you think things are going to be good, and then she twists on you, lies, does something nasty, and you’re just like: why? Why couldn’t you just be all nice? Or at least all real?
I guess real is boring.
Here’s one thing I know: you can’t lie to your fans.
Oh yes you can and yes you have.
Why was Joe’s brother Pete Giudice at the Fashion Show? (I got this one a lot!) Pete wasn’t there randomly alone. He came with his wife, my sister-in-law, Sheila, her sister, and a bunch of other guys. It’s a big event for our town every year and it always sells out. And yes, there are always guys at the fashion show — go back and watch any other year — remember Greg Bennett begging to sit next to me at the first one? — but our hubbies usually don’t come. I didn’t know Pete was going to be there or believe me, I would have dragged Joe along too!
It’s okay for Pete to go to jail should a fight break out but Juicy already has too many strikes against him, right?
Why did I go to the new salon with Kim D? Because she asked me to go with her. And it was just for make-up, not hair. And it wasn’t just some random place. They were a major new sponsor of Kim’s fashion show as you could see from their name on the step-and-repeat, Chateau Allure Salon. Kim’s fashion show raises thousands of dollars every year for charity, and I support it. So do all the other ‘Wives.
That and production wanted you there to meet Baldy.
Am I friends with the people who owned the salon? No. It’s owned by Johnny Karagiorgis (@JohnnyTheGrk on Twitter) and his wife Penny Drossos (@PDKhair). I’ve met them at a few of my appearances, and they seem nice enough. I know they like me, I just don’t know them very well. I only heard after the fashion show that Penny and Melissa don’t get along, but like I said last week, I can’t keep up with everyone in our town that doesn’t like Melissa!
I guess your droppings crumbs to follow a Twitter trail.
How does Penny know Melissa? I don’t know, you’d have to ask her. From what I understand, it’s actually Penny’s family member, not Melissa’s, who owned Lookers (weird thing to lie about). Maybe their argument is from something back then.
What kind of club is Lookers? I have no idea. I’m seriously confused. Melissa says it was a “bikini bar” but that she only wore a tank top and sneakers. Then she said Lookers was a club for “older men with money. You’re in a bikini, you hand them a drink, they’re like ‘Here’s $100 bill.’ I’d be stupid not to work there!” (Yes, Melissa, very stupid… I had no idea stupidity is why I had no money in college… I thought it was my morals…) She worked there a day, a week, a year, her family owned it, they didn’t, I have NO IDEA. Google the place at your own risk.
You said so yourself no one cares if she was stripper long ago. Why should we google it?
Why didn’t I warn Melissa about Angelo after I met him at the salon? I had no idea he was going to the fashion show too! I thought when he came up to me at the salon, that was it, and I could tell Melissa later. I didn’t want to ruin a nice evening at the event by talking about it that night. When Angelo showed up and came up to the table, my heart was racing. I don’t know anything about Melissa’s true past, so I had no idea if he was a threat or not, but I was prepared to defend Melissa if he said anything. But all he did was say hi and left. Left the table and then left the building (and I chased him down)! I never met the guy before that day. I didn’t even know his name, I walked around calling him “the bald guy” all night. And I was never near him, never next to him, nothing (or you would have seen it!). The first one to use his name was Melissa in the bathroom. She immediately started calling him “Angelo” — which looking back now is weird since she claimed she didn’t recognize him.
I like Baldy better.
Why did Angelo say Kim and Teresa wanted to “blow the whistle” on Melissa? If you watch from the beginning of his conversation, you see that Angelo wasn’t talking about me and Kim first-hand because he didn’t know us. He was retelling a second hand conversation. He was talking about Johnny, the owner of the salon, telling him that “Kim and Teresa want to blow the whistle” on Melissa. That’s Angelo retelling Johnny’s opinion. Maybe he heard wrong, maybe Johnny did say that, I have no idea because I don’t really know Johnny either. Maybe Johnny thinks I would like to see Melissa taken down, but he’s wrong, I didn’t and don’t, and I never said anything like that to anyone.
He was paid to say that by Bravo production.
Who was the secret person texting Jacqueline? Good question. I’d like to know too. Especially since none of our “mutual friends” were at the salon that day and the party. And Jacqueline said she was going to send the texts to Melissa that night. You know those two would have put them on Twitter immediately. Why didn’t they? Please, tell us, because no one is buying the “you’re a loyal friend” excuse.
Jacqueline would have put it on Twitter immediately because she’s such a sh*tstirrer.
Why am I still friends with Kim D? First, maybe it’s because I still feel bad for how my brother treated Kim that night. You didn’t see the half of it. It was s-c-a-r-y and my brother knows it.
I’m not buying that.
Second, it’s not just me still friends with her, it’s Caroline and Jacqueline too. Why aren’t they freaking out too and defending their new best friend Melissa? Maybe because like me, they don’t really think Kim D. did anything that terrible to Melissa.
There’s something fishy there and it’s not Kathy.
I’m Kathy’s blood family after all. And Kathy was sooo hurt that I mentioned one of her husband’s insults to me, which she admitted he did, in an interview.
She had to pretend to be mad at your for something.
Did anyone else notice how in the bathroom she immediately turned on me when I told her not to call my brother (which by the way, if my whole evil plan was to out her to my brother so they’d get divorced, I would have welcomed him coming down!) and reminded me I had “nieces and nephews at home.” She always does that, she always uses her kids to hold me hostage.
Not exactly a master manipulator.
I didn’t know until I watched the episode that Melissa was egging my brother on in the car. She didn’t want him to drive away. She had no proof of anything, she wasn’t even really “ambushed,” but she had the perfect opportunity to get my brother to hate me. So she took it and ran with it. She told him to roll down the window and she knew exactly what to tell him that would push my buttons: “Tell your sister ‘Shame on you!'” She kept repeating it, even under her breath as we were talking, “Say shame on you! Say shame!”
So whose turn is it to have Thanksgiving dinner?
So, last question: What’s the big deal with Melissa dancing or not dancing anyway? Like I said last week, and I said on Twitter right after the fashion show “leaks” about the “set-up” — it is no big deal. You know, I’ve been around the Housewives franchise for a while now, and I’ve seen this before. And no one ever cares. Doesn’t every city have an ex-stripper? NeNe admitted she was a stripper. No one cared. Bethenny’s topless B-movie came out. No one cared. And they are the two biggest Housewives ever. Even if Melissa was a stripper, I KNEW no-one would care. If I wanted to “embarrass” Melissa, it wouldn’t be for something no-one cared about!
No one cares. People care more about your bankruptcy and if Juicy is going to jail than stripper-gate. You still hold the prize for most embarrassing housewife.
Finally, yes, I did see Melissa’s US Weekly interview. Is that 3 weeks in a row now they’ve put me on the cover?
Twist the knife of jealousy a little more.
What Melissa and the other women accused me of all season was basically running the magazines and having complete control over everything. We all know that’s not true. Even though Caroline mocked me for the headlines, she knows, we all know, they write something to sell.
They needed something to skewer you with. I love that it’s the best the crack team could come up with. So lame.
No, I haven’t really seen or spoken to the other Housewives and my brother in almost a year. And while that made me really sad, on a lot of levels I really flourished being away from their negativity. My kids are doing amazing.
I know by now you all know me, you know my family, and you know my values. I live my life by three words: trust, loyalty, and respect. I have forgiven and forgotten many things, but I will not let anyone, whether it is an aunt, cousin, sister, mother — I don’t care who it is — ruin my family.
By competing with Teresa, you ruined a part of your family all on your own. Congratulations!
At this point I think I only have one word to describe what has happened and what’s to come: D-E-L-U-S-I-O-N-A-L.
You’re delusional if you think we buy this victim bullcrap.
Jacqueline makes up in length for Caro’s blog. She lists 16 reasons why she believes the whole hoopla was a set-up. Apparently she’s very passionate about this crap. Taking a page from her husband’s book, the question is “What is her end-game?”
Why I believe this was a set-up and will stick to that:
1. I knew Kim D. didn’t like Melissa and neither did Teresa. Teresa would fake nice only for the viewers, to make them think she was trying to get along with her family. She wasn’t.
You don’t have to like your sister-in-law but you have to try at least publically to get along.
2. Teresa was buddies with Kim while she was pretending to be so happy and close with Melissa. Teresa even joined Kim inside the restaurant AFTER the fashion show, after all the drama happened and even after Kim fought intensely with her brother, and they are STILL friends. Interesting isn’t it?
If Kim D was in on the set-up then Teresa should have a problem with her.
3. There was no remorse, just smile after smile inside the restaurant after the drama without a care in the world. I think she was pleased with what came out. Although, I think she was mad at me for calling her out.
You got a text from someone you don’t want to identify which made you call her out. Is that really proof?
4. Kim D. will protect her friends publicly, but will usually own up to her own mischievous ways and take accountability for her actions, right or wrong. I respect her for that. Even though she doesn’t always play nice when angered.
So now you don’t have a problem with Kim D after she set-up your friend Melissa. Is she protecting you?
5. Teresa doesn’t own up to anything EVER and will try to get others to speak up on her behalf and let them take the downfall alone while she plays innocent. This is why I did not choose to get involved in her schemes against her family. I had my own hardships that I was dealing with, but Teresa didn’t care about that. She only put MORE pressure on me to do her dirty work, then she would talk badly about me and I’d have to hear about what kind of a friend I was for not doing it. She just didn’t get it when I would try to explain to her my reasons why I didn’t want to get involved. I honestly just wanted her to fake it until she made it with her family.
If this is true and it could well be, who cares if she didn’t get it. It seems there’s a lot of energy being spent on saying no to Teresa.
6. Teresa was doing things all season to sabotage her family in many ways, including business opportunities. The atmosphere around her became so dark and negative to be around. Her phone calls to me were all about her feelings toward her family. My head was spinning. I had my own issues I was dealing with that she never gave a sh– about.
Are you more pissed off that she didn’t care about what you were going through? Just tell her no and to stick it where the sun don’t shine!
7. Teresa would have NEVER agreed to go to someone else for make-up and hair like that unless she had an ulterior motive. (Which she did.) TERESA KNEW KIM D. WAS MAKING MELISSA THE TARGET THAT DAY! Even if she never knew all of the details of how it would go down, Teresa knew Melissa was the target and she was going to allow Kim to do whatever she wanted to hurt Melissa, while Teresa played innocent and clueless (which isn’t hard for her). I was told the truth by someone involved, who shall remain nameless, that won’t publicly “out” her friend.
The problem with this is there’s no way to prove or disprove Teresa’s involvement if you have a “secret” source that won’t reveal themselves.
8. Conveniently, the bald guy worked at that salon for one day only.
Bravo production paid him for the day.
9. It seemed as though she tried to argue Melissa’s point about the rumors while seemingly trying to put it out there even more by keeping the conversation going. She kept trying to discredit Melissa instead of trying to help her.
She could have also been trying to get Melissa to refute what he said and call him out while he was there gossiping. It was very high school.
10. Why did Teresa cowardly leave the room when Kim D. and the bald guy were talking about Melissa? Why didn’t she shut them down immediately and get pissed off at Kim who was trying to humiliate her sister-in-law? She says the right words for them to stop talking about her family, but then her actions don’t match up AT ALL, as she allows them to continue talking.
It’s hard to staple someone’s mouth closed. They may not like it.
11. Why didn’t Teresa call Melissa up right then and there to warn her about what that man said about her on camera? There was NO call, NO message, NO text, NO attempt of anything!!!
Too bad she didn’t have a crystal ball. She’s not the brightest bulb in the box.
12. Why, the second she saw the bald guy at the fashion show, didn’t she chase him out of there? Why? Would you wait for their interaction to take place or would you shut it down before it began and ask him to leave? Didn’t he apologize once for offending Teresa for saying things in the first place? He did it because he was asked to do it. The bald guy said, (and I quote) “TERESA KNEW ABOUT THIS TOO.” And, “KIM AND TERESA WANT ME TO BLOW THE COVER ON MELISSA, because she plays the ‘holier than thou.’ THEY HAD ME DO THIS THING.” GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! DON’T try to put that on me, Teresa, because you look like a FOOL!
Wow, using all caps to make your point. I still don’t see your endgame.
13. My mutual friends with Teresa told me that Teresa knew TWO WEEKS PRIOR that this set up against Melissa was going to happen. WHAT? NO warning for Melissa??? I can’t expose them, because they are still friendly with Teresa.
Once again, you can’t expose mutual friends so there’s no point in bringing them up.
14. Why was Teresa’s brother-in-law there when he never attended one of those fashion shows before? It seems to me as if she was expecting trouble?
Please state what you are alleging. I’m too bored to read between the question marks.
15. Why did Teresa’s brother-in-law hug Teresa after the drama and congratulate her after the confrontation telling her he was proud of her? Wouldn’t he be trying to fight the bald guy and be upset with Kim D. who set up her family instead of continuing to party with her?
I thought Baldy left.
16. ONCE AGAIN let’s not forget the incriminating evidence of this bald guy forgetting his mic was still on as he outed Teresa and Kim for knowing about it and asking him to do this thing to call out Melissa.
I wonder how much he was getting paid from Bravo production.
Haters, you can keep on hating, but I KNOW you KNOW Teresa is just as guilty as the others, so spare me your irrational explanations on why you think she is innocent, puhlease! I’m not buying it! I’m very smart!
Ha! Just from reading your blogs I can tell you are Mensa material. I think what you need to work on is your emotional IQ.
BOTTOM LINE — The truth is Teresa never forgave her family for coming on the show. She STILL holds a grudge against ALL of them about it. She has held this grudge for the last two seasons. She HATED that fans were starting to like Melissa and that Melissa was treating her so nicely on camera. She thought Melissa was being fake (only because Anything that Teresa is guilty of, she tries to project that onto someone else. She will never take accountability for her wrong doings. To me, THAT’S A COWARD! Teresa is the most jealous, competitive person I have ever met and I am done, done, DONE!
I hope you’re done. Especially with the War and Peace length blogs. It’s too bad you spent this much energy trying to prove Teresa is fake and a liar. I mean we knew that with all the legal problems made public and trying to sweep it all under the rug in interviews. Whether Melissa is a stripper or not, no one cares. Whether Teresa is responsible for outing that, Bravo production was complicit. You are not getting anything but frustration out of it and your energies should go towards your son. Hope your venting relieves your obvious stress.
As I watched the scenes of the final episode I realized that while I was sitting at the table enjoying my salad, there seemed to be a whole other show going on. Apparently a lot of things were happening. I often wonder to myself, why is it that I do not pick up on these things as they are happening?
Poor Kathy is not part of the cool kids club.
Or is it that I just choose to block out ugly situations and try to believe that there is a logical explanation for everything? Unfortunately watching this it is obvious that the events of that evening were definitely orchestrated, and not a coincidence.
We see that too.
So as I sit to write this blog, I think it would be best to remove my emotions from the mix and just present you all with the facts we’ve all seen involving the events of that evening.
Oh great, another analysis. At least it’s numbered 1 to 3 and not 1 to 16.
The Set-Up: To paint a negative picture of Melissa at a public event by exposing her alleged past employment as a stripper.
I thought it was to set Teresa up as the bad guy. It’s been the theme of the season so why stop now.
The Players: Teresa; Kim D; The Bald Guy aka Angelo, former strip club manager conveniently turned PR agent for a day; Melissa; Jacqueline; Caroline; Lauren; and me.
I’m not sure if you can include yourself since you didn’t know what was going on.
The Motive: To destroy Melissa’s reputation, embarrass her, and ultimately try to destroy a happy family of five.
I understand you need to keep in line with your employer so you need to go along with the Bravo production script.
The Clues: Body Language, Facial Expressions, Accusations
The Clues: Bald guy mic’d and hired for the day, assuming the audience is stupid, ratings for Bravo
1. There isn’t any evidence to support the statements made by the creepy “bald guy,” so everyone will just have to take his word for the truth.
There’s no evidence for anything.
2. The texts Jacqueline was receiving all evening from a mutual friend of both she and Teresa. The texts were being sent to inform Jacqueline there was going to be some serious drama that evening. Drama that Teresa, Kim D, and “The Bald Guy” had carefully planned out at the expense of one of the lady’s reputation.
What reputation? She’s not managing people’s money, no one’s life is in her hands, she’s not in public office. Drop the mutual friend stuff if you can’t say the whole truth.
3. The Candid Taped Confession: Ah, finally some real visual evidence. The conversation the creepy “Bald Guy” was having with some woman in the distance while forgetting he was still wearing a mic. (This is reality TV, if you think because the camera is not directly in your vision you’re not being filmed, you’re wrong. Let’s not forget, in reality TV the walls have ears! Or in other words when you are mic’d or near a mic, you’re being recorded and someone is always listening.)
It’s not “reality” if production is fabricating a situation.
The Plot: The events get weirder by the minute as we reach crescendo and the key players start to play the blame game, while handing out accusations and lies.
It’s not me, it’s you game.
The Finale: Cast members are angry, hurt, disillusioned, tired, and wondering how on earth we will be able to make some sense of this and get up at 5:00am to be ready to film a reunion with some civility. It is obvious from facial expression and body language that Jacqueline is in a complete state of shock and is having a meltdown.
Jacqueline pointed the finger at Teresa. She had to expect a return shot. The Posche fashion show would have been a great time for Jacqueline to pretend to be asleep.
Dancing with the Stars, the All-Stars by COC Farm
Hello LynnFam! Okay, offered myself up to NMD for DWTS reviews about 10 minutes ago, tried to pretend I didn’t just do that, freed the animals, grabbed a shower and here I sit. I will keep these short and sweet. Since I’m a t-shirt and jeans girl, I won’t tread on wardrobe either.
First, the cast:
Apolo Anton Ohn with Katrina Smirnoff, who previously won his season
Bristol Palin with Mark Ballas, boy, Mark drew the short stick!
Drew Lachey with Anna Trebunskaya, won his season
Emmitt Smith with Cheryl Burke, won his season
Gilles Marini with Peta Nurgatroyd, 2nd place his season and Peta is a lucky girl!
Helio Castroneves with Chelsie Hightower, won his season
Joey Fatone with Kym Johnson…I think he was 2nd his season
Kelly Monaco with Valentin Chmerkovskiy, won her season which was the first DWTS
Kirstie Alley with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, came in third her season…I think.
Melissa Rycroft with Tony Dovolani, 3rd her season
Pamela Anderson with Tristan MacManus, went home early her season
Sabrina Bryan with Louis Van Amstel, went home early her season but should have won
Shawn Johnson with Derek Hough, won her season
There you have it. The cast. This season is interesting to me since almost all of them are very good, so it will be splitting hairs as to who dances better on a given night. That said, the judges ARE splitting hairs! They have created a new judging system by awarding half points. Tom Bergeron had one of the funniest comments of the night saying the people who keep them in paddles are excited by the new development with the half point system.
The judges are themselves as usual, Bruno the squealer, Carrie Ann the perky & Len the grouch, although Len is the true critic.
No one scores higher than a 24.5. Wow different judging with this group. In the past they would have doled out 7 or 8 perfect scores, but with so much dancing talent in one place, they are starting conservatively which they have to do…otherwise, it would just be a popularity contest.
After the first night, Pam Anderson was at the bottom of the board with a 17.5 with Bristol Palin 2 points better. Emmitt Smith was at the top of the board, which was a head scratcher to me. I love Emmitt, but I did not think him a better dancer than many of the others. But he is totally likable and a fan fav, so who knows! Maybe I was missing something in his dance.
Here’s the shocker: Pam was the first to go. Okay, I lied. No shocker there. Bristol was in the bottom with her, which also makes sense. She should be the next to go but again, those pesky fan votes! Surprisingly, Drew Lachey was in the bottom three. His talking heads the first night were a bit snippy. If you didn’t know he was joking around, you might walk away thinking him unhappy to be there or smug. I think it was his shtick, but we’ll see if it changes now that he got a scare. He had points that put him in the middle of the pack, so clearly the fans were not there for him.
My thoughts, an athlete will take it, but I’d like to see Sabrina or Kelly win. Sabrina was robbed her season and Kelly isn’t a dancer but surprised me with how well she did. Check with me next week and I will probably change my mind.
Overall, it will be a great season. Everyone is happy to be there, joking around with one another. It’s like a family gathering where everyone likes one another and just seems happy to be part of it.
Okay, I said I’d say nothing about fashion, but LOVED Brooke Burkes dress last night.
Thanks for the opportunity to blog to my fellow LynnFam. As always, Lynn is missed and would have something to say about DWTS. She would have loved the All-Stars.
