More has been leaked about the upcoming Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion. According to the Huffington Post, Melissa Gorga got physical with sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, and Teresa threatened to sue her. This is according to an insider. (There are a whole lot of insiders related to the Real Housewives of New Jersey.) This is coming out after Melissa said on Wendy Williams that Teresa had twisted her wrist. Teresa is defending herself against that allegation – and her friends are backing her up and telling the Huff Post nothing happened at that party.
RadarOnline also has some information about the reunion. “There was so much yelling, Andy was shouting at us to be quiet!” said Lauren Manzo, adding that “Xanax was passed around like candy.” Ugh – that sounds familiar. Apparently Teresa tells Andy that she pleaded with him to take out all the footage of stripper allegations against Melissa. Not that it would have helped – it was all over the news at the time. Joe told Teresa that their dad said she was going around town saying Melissa used to be a stripper. And when Teresa said that her mom told her that Kathy and Richie were getting a divorce, Kathy told Teresa, “her mother is a “f***ing liar” and that she is a “disgrazia.” (Italian for disgrace.).
Radaronline had a second article on Teresa – that called her “the most hated housewife on television.” According to the article, Teresa told them, “I said to myself I wasn’t going to get upset, but I couldn’t help it. After the taping (of the reunion) was done, I broke down. I started crying and I couldn’t stop.”
Cat Omnanney had her Inbox Full2 Party yesterday. Sonja Morgan was in attendance accompanied by Milliondollar Listing NY bravolebrity Michael Lorber. Sonjainthecity – Sonja’s company -planned the event. Other bravo and ex-bravo cast listed in the sarcasm.net article included Kathy and Richie Wakile, Rosie Pierri (Kathy’s sister), and Dina Manzo. Lynn attended a similar event when Inbox Full launched, and blogged about it for us. Cat had invited her to attend this year’s event.
Want to learn more about the relationship between Joanna Krupa and fiance Romain? There’s an article and video here.
Real Housewives of Miami, A Mynt Meltdown by MKValle
Joanna and Romain are in bed. He’s writing emails, she wants to play. He’s annoyed, she annoying. We all wake up with cameras in the morning, don’t we? Marta calls Joanna in the room to talk about Lisa’s offer to have Marta stay at her house. Joanna doesn’t like the idea. Marta, you’re a big girl, move out and let your sister get on with her life.
Karent’s skyping with Rodolfo. She tell him about last weeks Swine & Wine event where ladies talk Rodolfo being her make believe boyfriend and Ana tells her Rodolfo texts her. Rodolfo tells her not to listen to any of the “snakes”, just walk away. Once again, Karent tells us how he’s a handsome soap opera that everyone is falling in love with him. Rodolfo talks about wanting a harem, Karent thinks he’s kidding, I don’t think he is. I don’t think this relationship will last the season.
Not much of Adriana this week. She meets with her business partner and talks about the upcoming art show where she wants to invite true art collectors, not just people looking for free alcohol and entertainment.
Lisa’s lounging at the pool where her maid Daysy brings her a vodka and redbull. After all, she’s the princess of the house. Lisa tells us (again) that Daysy is more like a paid friend and that she needs to lose weight before getting plastic surgery. Joanna calls and invites her (and the rest of the girls) to the 10 year anniversary of Romain’s nightclub. Lisa is going to host a pre-party sushi get together for the ladies.
Lea tells us about her maid Freda. Freda lives in her own apartment on the property. She doesn’t clean, do laundry, or cook. She has a driver, computer, alarm system and a part time housekeeper. Lea’s doing her hair. Lea’s just adding those little ball elastics to her already braided hair. RJ (Lea’s son) is teaching Freda how to swim, she doesn’t have a swimsuit so she jumps fully clothed. Freda’s been around a long time, RJ loves her, the dogs love her, she’s the queen of the house.
Marysol is being interviewed by the editor of Ocean Drive magazine. They are doing a “day in the life” on her. She’s a girl about town and has a successful business. No Elsa this episode.
Romain goes in to get his citizenship. Did Joanna really just wait in the car for him? Odd scene. Romain comes out, an American citizen. He’s very proud and thankful for all the USA has allowed him to accomplish. He came to America from France with $1000 that he went through in 2 months, worked his way up from busboy to club ownership. If it wasn’t for America, he wouldn’t have a Ferrari, he wouldn’t have a club. Hmm, I don’t have either of those and I’ve been an American for a long time. Must be doing something wrong.
Lea has her meeting for volunteers for her gala. They aren’t the type of women who would volunteer to set up tables & chairs and be on the decorating committee. Her main goal is to get them to buy tables and donate items. Lea’s good friend, Elaine Lancaster (a drag queen) makes a late entrance. Oops drama, the drag queen says Marysol wouldn’t let him walk on the red carpet last year. He feels disrespected by Marysol. Lea tells us Elaine is very well liked in the community and Marysol better make nice with him. The Patton Group will not be doing the PR for the gala this year.
Ana’s getting ready to hit the nightclub with the girls. She talks about problems with her boyfriend Mark. He is upset because Ana’s not divorced yet. It’s been 2 years, don’t know what the hold up is. Her ex Robert drops by the house for food. He talks about his great relationship with his 30 year old, she’s sh*tting rainbows, is 15 years younger than Ana and doesn’t fight with him. Oh, and she doesn’t fart. Great.
Some of the ladies are at Lisa’s eating sushi. Joanna doesn’t want any drama, but she starts (and ends) the evening starting drama. Arguing with Marta about Romain. Just the third episode and I’m tired of hearing about it already. Anyone else with me? Lisa’s husband Lenny tells us he was a surgeon at 23, that he skipped college? What? Skipped college? Some research might be needed on this one. Karent and Adriana arrive, putting an end to another Joanna/Marta argument. They start an conversation about Elsa, Adriana says she’s a lady in her 70’s and looks great. Lisa says no, she doesn’t look great, she looks scary. Adriana was a bit angry at the girls remarks of Elsa.
The ladies are at Mynt. It’s a fabulous club in fabulous Miami Beach. Marysol and Ana arrive at the club, followed by Lea and Elaine Lancaster, the drag queen. Lisa comments, “Shoot me if I’m at a club at the age of 40”. Joanna, who’s a bit tipsy now, attempts to find out what went on between Marysol and Elaine at last year’s gala. I’m confused and don’t have a clue what happened.
Joanna spots the DJ at Mynt who “done wrong” by Marta. The DJ and Marta dated for four years, he cheated, they broke up and he’s with the woman he cheated with. Joanna doesn’t like it one bit. She’s sobbing, yelling that she f*cking hates him, over and over. Romain is embarrassed, tried to calm Joanna down, Lea, Karent, Adriana try to calm her down. Not happening. Romain takes off for fresh air (run Romain, run!) , who can blame the guy. Marta shows up at the table yelling at Joanna for getting involved in her affairs. Lisa, the voice of reason (surprise) says the sisters are in each other’s business too much and they need a time out.
That’s it, off to a slow start, maybe something exciting will happen next week.
A few notes from NMD – I was a little curious about the what was going on between Elaine, Lea and Marysol because that seemed to be the main drama Lynn’s insider reported on last year.
Elaine and Lea seem to be good friends – tweeting each other back and forth. A few days ago Elaine tweeted this:
You’ve gotta Have FRIENDS & I’m a lucky gal to have
@LeaBlackMiami as one of my dearest. Wish this woman a great day.
Elaine exchanged tweets with a few of the ladies last night -and took a few gentle swipes at Marysol. It sounds like some of this will be explained in the cast blogs. I find it a little more interesting than the “texting” drama from last week and the sister-sister-fiance drama we saw this week. How funny that we’ve got another model married to a club owner and sister drama – hello Atlanta’s Cynthia – someone stole your storyline.
Project Runway “It’s Fashion Baby” by BB
This month, Project Runway host Heidi Klum launched her own baby fashion line called Truly Scrumptious for Babies R Us.
Tonight, the remaining six designers will be challenged to make a look for Heidi’s baby clothes line. Oh, no! First, real women, now real babies! Three designers get boys and three designers get girls. There will be a boy winning look and a girl winning look to be featured as part of Heidi’s line. The designers meet their models, who range from 12 to 18 months. Dmitry thinks they’re screwed. Chris is happy with his model, who is wearing some Cheetah shoes. The designers have 30 minutes to meet with the babies and moms. Tim tells them to listen to the moms carefully.
Elena’s client likes blazers (for a baby?); Melissa’s baby’s mom likes pink; Dmitry’s baby’s mom is opinionated; Fabio’s client likes things that are easy to put on. Fabio was a babysitter when he first came to New York. His baby’s mom also likes vintage. Christopher’s baby’s mom likes to dress classic but has trouble picking out something she likes in the store. Chris may have trouble making the mom happy.
There is a special surprise awaiting the designers back in the workroom. It’s those mechanical babies. The designers will have to take care of the babies while they are designing. They are like the baby dolls high school teenagers have to take care of so they will never ever have sex. Ha, Ha! When the babies cry, they either need to be fed, changed or rocked. Elena is in shock. It’s hilarious to watch the designers walking around the room with babies on their shoulders trying to get them to shut up. How in the world are they going to get their outfits done in a day?
Fabio loves his fake baby. He can’t seem to put it down. He wants to have a family. Dmitry doesn’t think he’ll be having babies anytime soon. Chris, Elena and Melissa have girl baby models. Fabio, Dmitry and Sonjia have boy baby models. Melissa has a good fake baby, Elena has a fussy one.
The designers are having baby wars. Sonjia accuses Fabio’s baby’s crying as causing all the other babies to cry. Fabio says his baby is polite, it’s the other babies that aren’t. This is so fun to watch.
Heidi and Tim come in to give all the designers their little critiques. Heidi doesn’t think Melissa’s outfit is very fun. She seems to like everyone else’s designs, but gives each of them pointers to make them more fun and whimsical. Melissa thinks Christopher is copying her white denim jacket from a previous challenge. Oh, wait, Heidi just threw in another challenge. The designers must make a companion piece for the moms.
Mayhem ensues and the designers all have their trials and tribulations getting their outfits ready. At least they get an extra day. They are told the babies outfits are what will be mainly judged. The designers have to take their babies to Mood to get the fabric for the Moms’ outfits. Tim tells the designers not to try to please the moms, they are just to compliment the babies on the runway.
Melissa decides to completely change her baby outfit from leggings to a white shift dress. The designers had to take the babies back to Atlas with them, so of course, they didn’t get much rest. There is at least one baby crying at all times. Tim comes in that morning and takes the babies off to daycare. Melissa says it’s perfect because she was going to neglect her baby that day anyway.
Fabio doesn’t like the colors Elena is using for her baby and Christopher wants to know why Melissa is making her baby a cocktail dress. Melissa is way behind and hasn’t started on her mom’s outfit yet. Elena is trying to do a drape dress for her mom, which she has never done.
The moms come in with their babies for the fittings. Dmitry’s baby looks like one of the Cone Heads with that hood. Melissa has nothing done for her mom. Christopher’s mom hates the outfit he made for her baby. She also hates the dress he made for her. She tells Christopher she feels like she’s wearing her mom’s dress. Poor Christopher is about to freak out. Melissa should be freaking out since she hasn’t even started on the mom outfit.
Sonjia tells Christopher not to worry so much about what “Mary J. Blige” thinks, it’s what Heidi thinks that counts. When the designers finish for the day, the talk is about what Melissa has to do the next morning before the runway show. Melissa hasn’t finished either of her outfits. When the mom’s come in, Christopher’s mom apologizes to him for how she acted the day before. Dmitry and Fabio both think they have made the best outfits and that Sonjia is their competition. Melissa has to ask her baby’s mom to help with her outfit by sewing buttons on. Dmitry’s baby is getting fussy and he’s worried because the baby has to sell his look.
It’s runway time and Melissa is still at the sewing machine. Tim tells Melissa she has to get her outfit on the mom whether it’s finished or not. The guest judge for this challenge is Hilary Duff, who is a new mom herself.
Fabio’s mom and baby look adorable. I love the baby’s outfit with the shorts and hat! Melissa’s dress looks awful on her baby and is not cute at all. The mom’s outfit is even worse. Dmitry’s outfit is unique and cute, but I still don’t like that pointy hood. Sonjia’s outfit looks cute and comfortable, but it’s not my favorite. Christopher’s outfit looks prissy and girly on his baby. I like it and think he will at least be safe. Elena’s outfit is the most unique of them all and her baby definitely stands out. It may not be what I would pick out for my baby girl, but it’s “fashion forward.” If I had to pick a fav, it would be Fabio’s design. My least fav is Melissa’s design. I’m not going by the mom’s outfits, just the babies’. With the exception of Melissa, I think they all did a good job.
Sonjia’s baby is flirting with and wowing the judges. Heidi thinks Sonjia’s baby looks sharp and he looks like a little man. The other judges like it and like the mom’s outfit too. It’s no fuss, but smart.
Melissa tries to explain her look. Heidi loves the jacket but not the dress. It’s too simple and rides up over the diaper. She doesn’t like the zipper on the side because it might be uncomfortable. Heidi also thinks the mom’s outfit is too messy. Michael thinks Melissa’s mistakes were in her fabric choices. The judges all like the vest, but not the dress.
Heidi loves Fabio’s baby’s look and all the details. She’s not crazy about the mom’s look. Nina likes both mom and baby’s outfits. Hilary loves the old fashion look.
Michael thinks Elena’s baby’s jacket is well-made, but the rest of the outfit has too much going on. Heidi doesn’t like the pants on the baby’s outfit. All the judges like the jacket except Nina. She sees no practicality in the jacket. Nina likes the mom’s look, but it’s not a mom’s challenge.
Dmitry’s baby is asleep while he’s explaining his look. Michael likes how graphic the baby’s outfit is, but the hood makes it a little super-heroish. Heidi says a lot of kids clothes are like that and it’s a trend. Michael didn’t know and learned something. Hilary thinks it’s borderline costume, but she likes it. Heidi thinks it’s kind of out there, but a lot of moms would like it.
Michael is last but not least. Nina thinks it looks adorable, but not practical. Heidi thinks it’s a baby dress up outfit that’s adorable. She also likes the mom’s dress. Michael doesn’t like the jacket, but loves the dressy dress. Hilary loves the sweet dress and thinks the jacket is cut well and the headpiece is adorable. Both mom and baby look like they are going to Sunday brunch.
Heidi congratulates them all for doing a great job, especially under the circumstances. There will be two winners, one boy look and one girl look. Nina loves Fabios’ boy look; Heidi and Hilary love Sonjia’s look. They liked Dmitry’s look and think it would be one a baby would wear a lot. Nina thinks it looks like a crayon.
For the girls’ looks, the judges all liked Christopher’s dress. Hilary called it whimsical and sweet. The judges are not crazy about Elena’s outfit, but don’t hate it either. They really don’t like Melissa’s outfit, especially the dress. The vest is good, but it’s not a head to toe look.
Sonjia is the winner for the boy look and Christopher is the winner for the girl look. Dmitry and Fabio are safe. That leaves Elena and Melissa in the bottom. Elena is out. I don’t agree this time. I think Melissa should be gone for that design only. Overall I think Melissa is a better designer than Elena and that’s probably why the judges decided to keep her, but if it was just based on this challenge alone, Melissa should be out.
I totally enjoyed this episode; no big histrionics and cute babies. What more could you ask for?
You Have All Inspired Me!
Hello All! I have some (I hope) good news! Through the aftermath of the tragedy of Lynn’s passing I wanted to help in some way. The only way I knew was to try to spread positive energy and thoughts where I could to bolster and support everyone in their grief. I was given the privilege to post an Inspiration Page here at Lynn’s Place and it has been a wonderful thing. Your acceptance of this has thrilled me, but also, your responses that what I had to share has helped you has warmed my heart. I am so very glad it has had a positive impact in some of your lives.
It is this, and your kind words, that has inspired me to start my own blog. There is so much more I would like to share, and I have some great ideas that I hope will benefit everyone even more. It will also relieve NMD from one less thing on her plate, as we all know how hard she works to keep this blog going. (as well as the others!). Thank you NMD for handling the page!
So, I would like to announce my new blog:
From The Desk of MarDrag, Inspiration for Navigating A Difficult World!
It is at WordPress, here is the link:
Please stop by and check it out…..there will be blogs, info and daily inspiration to help you manage this crazy world….or just to give you a boost or get a hug. If there are topics you would like covered, please feel free to let me know, as you did here. I still have a list some of you emailed me with and will still cover those topics at the new blog. And be sure to pass the link on to whoever you think may like it.
I truly believe my life’s mission is to help people, in whatever small way I can, and if my words can do that, then I am happy to share them. It may sound corny, but I have a lot of love to give, and this world needs that right now!
It has been a Blessing to have been so accepted here, and I have felt the love. It has enriched my life beyond what you could know, and I am so grateful to all of you. But don’t worry, I will still be here to read and post about the HW’s! I enjoy you all so much!
One last thing, and that is to voice the honor, respect and compassion I have for Lynn in her courage to create a community like this one. It may have started with HW’s, but it has continued because of the energy and love she put into it….and passed on to us. She will forever be in my mind and heart, and I hope I can make her proud.
My Love and Hugs go out to you all! I hope to see you over at From The Desk of MarDrag!
P.S. I am new to this blogging thing, so be patient with me as I learn the ropes!! J
(Thank you Mardrag for everything all the wonderful inspirational posts. I will rearrange this blog a little this weekend and put Mardrag’s blog in our blog roll so it’s easy to find, and Mardrag will let us know when she’s got a new post for us to read – NMD)
