Kim Zolciak gets a Spinoff / Is the Truth Hidden in the Tweets?

Housewife News by NoMoreDrama

It’s been confirmed by TMZ!  Kim Zolciak IS getting her own full-time spinoff show.  That is why she wasn’t in the cast photos for the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.  Chances are, because Kim didn’t film much with the other cast members, most of the footage they filmed with her will be used in her new show. Kim’s Don’t be Tardy for the Wedding was a pretty big hit – pulling ratings higher than Bethenny Frankel’s spin-off.

More rumors on who is returning to the Real Housewives of New Jersey next year.  Hollywood Life is reporting that they are all expected to return – and that there will be some new “friends” added.  Maybe some of them have agreed to film with Teresa to stay on the show.  It would be hard to give up that salary.  Read it here.  Teresa Giudice confirmed on Anderson Cooper that her family wasn’t getting a spinoff.  Good thing, because Juicy Joe may be heading to jail.

Last night was Peter Thomas’s birthday party.  He tweeted out the following yesterday:

Tonight is the Peter Thomas B Day party, free all night, free parking

Note to whoever designed the invitation – I have no idea what any of the acronyms mean on it.  PS – why isn’t he using Cynthia’s beautiful face along with his mug?

Okay – turns out Atlanta is hosting the BET Hip-Hop awards this weekend.  Lisa Wu was one of the stars that turned out to celebrate Jeezy’s birthday.  Here she is, looking like a housewife who’s moved on and doing very well for herself.  Photo credit: Jet Magazine (photo by Sly White).

Real Housewives of Miami cast blogs show a divide starting between the ladies.  Adriana de Moura was seen flirting heavily with Joanna Krupa‘s fiance Romain at the party at his club.  In her blog, Adriana defended herself, “You may think I was flirting, but I’m Brazilian, we flirt as a means of communicating. No malice involved!” before taking a dig at Krupta, saying: “In a nutshell, I think Freda [Lea’s housekeeper]– a dark haired beauty — looks more adorable than a blonde in the morning light!

I’m sorry, but Krupa may be a sloppy drunk but she’s a bonafide supermodel.  She’s been on the cover of Glamour and GQ, was on Dancing with the Stars, and has 250,000 twitter followers.

Joanna Krupa struck back in her blog.  “It’s obvious that Adriana had no idea what the whole meltdown was about, otherwise she wouldn’t make her nasty comment to Romain, suggesting that he reconsider blondes (“they might wake up pretty, but sure are ugly at night”).  Well unfortunately this specific brunette is just plain ugly day or night, and I am not talking about her outward appearance. I feel bad for her fiancé, because why is she flirting with mine? No wonder she doesn’t wear her engagement ring: maybe he didn’t feel she is worthy and never bought her one? She has the nerve to make a comment about me, when here she is, full-on flirting with my man when her fiancé is at home???”

Adriana might do better on Real Housewives of New Jersey.  She spent yesterday afternoon retweeting a few nasty tweets sent to Joanna Krupa -from someone I should probably know because he has half a million twitter followers and promotes the “Girls Gone Wild Brand.”  Joanna was featured in one of the videos a while back fully clothed.  I wonder what she did to make him upset – or is it just to drum up drama??

And she did set the record straight about that elusive engagement ring by retweeting this from her fiance:

By the way to set the record straight my engagement ring to@adrianathereal is from @harrywinston always the best for the best@Bravotv

As for the other drama of the evening revolving around Marysol and Elaine and the red carpet …

This is what Lea had to say about Elaine ”

“Enter diva Elaine Lancaster. Well Elaine and I go back many years. We aren’t “best” friends, but we are very good friends. …  Elaine is a good friend to anyone who will let her be a good friend and has never sold out or betrayed a confidence. She always takes responsibility for her actions, who she is, and the character her counterpart, James Davis, has developed over the years. The diva is sometimes misunderstood, sometimes intimidating, and sometimes brings out the best in people and sometimes the worst. Being around a drag queen is sort of like being drunk — it doesn’t change who you are, but it REVEALS who you are.”

It’s clear Lea is on Team Elaine and not Team Marysol (who dissed Lea by calling her gala disorganized).

Marysol says things without saying them, so you have to read between the lines. But she basically says that Elaine was lying about the red carpet mix-up and the lie is possibly intentional to harm her business, and that the truth will come out in time.  Now remember, all of this took place before they knew the show was renewed – so it wasn’t done for Bravo.

I’m a little disappointed with the cast blogs.  None of them really told me anything about what’s going on with Elaine, Marysol, and Lea.  Grrr.  Where are the leaks?

Ratings for Real Housewives of Miami:  Uh oh – a series and franchise low.  Yup – lower even than last year.  Under a million.  Still better than most of the non-housewives shows to be fair – but worse than Flipping Out and Top Chef this week.  Perhaps it was because it was up against another Bravo Lifetime favorite – Project Runway.  It was Project Runway that brought me to Bravo in the first place.  Maybe it’s because three housewives shows on at once is too much.  I know it’s too much for me, and I want to like Miami.

Funny tweet exchange between JZ and NaughtybutNice Rob from Huff Post

Who did u hear that from?“@NaughtyNiceRob: I hear @Jillzarin is returning to @Bravotv as a guest on its late night talk show. Get ready!”

And on to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  The ladies are beginning to get a little more active, drumming up interest for the show.  Brandi Glanville tweeted this photo of Leanne Rimes and Taylor Armstrong along with the message:

I feel an “I HATE Brandi” fan club coming on hahhahahahhahahahhaha

Seriously Taylor?  Seriously?  Why are they bringing her back?

Is the Truth Hidden in the Tweets?

Special Blog by Rebecca

Most of these Bravolebrities are not cut out for fame of any kind. As you notice, A-list celebrities are rarely in trouble for twitter remarks.  Could it be that they have better things to do, or that they just handle what’s really important to them and let others deal with the nonessentials? Does Angelina Jolie really care about what Chelsea Handler says about her? I doubt it. She has six kids and a career. However, the Bravo bunch of housewives has nothing to do but ramble on and on and on. Every media outlet they can get their hands on, every opportunity to get their opinion out on the internet, every character they can type into twitter skews the line between importance and insignificance.

There’s nothing normal about wasting your time with this kind of nonsense if you’re “real.” A “real” housewife has responsibilities every moment of every day with which to deal. Kids, spouses, bills, houses, and jobs. We’re supposed to have eight hours for work, eight for sleep, and eight for us. Most women can’t fit all these things in our 24-hour days. A “real” housewife caught spending hours a day on facebook or twitter at work would be exposed, fired, divorced, etc.  This is the downfall of western civilization –but Bravo seems to be not only enjoying it, but promoting it. Bravo is the new tobacco industry.  It’s your right, but it’s very bad for your health. It can even kill you.

These “real housewives” do not, in any means, fit the description of a “real housewife.” It’s doubtful anyone but the cast would call any of the NJ housewives a “real housewife.” The most obvious example is Jacqueline Laurita. Shown on the first season as a stay-home mother of two, she constantly placed herself in high-drama situations, then gave her studio headshot interviews crying and pleading with viewers to see her as the victim.

Every episode she was blaming Ashley for being a bad daughter. She wanted Ashley to appreciate all she had given up for her to raise her. How many times did we see Ashley crying, but painted her as the ungrateful brat? As Jacqueline became more and more caught up in social media, the blame shifted away from Ashley. She’s a product of her environment. Now that we see her environment through the eyes, we see she may not have been brought up by a “real housewife.” During the first season, we see Jacqueline take drinking quite a bit of booze here and there. Seeing full her at the reunion more than a little pregnant, we know that this overlapped with what we saw on screen. She was crying onscreen how much she wanted another baby, but any “real housewife” has to wonder how seriously she took care of herself during that time. Does she always put herself first and her kids second? We’ll get back to that.

Bravo thought it would be a wonderful idea to show a season while filming the next. With the addition of Melissa and Joe Gorga to show, after the alleged audition tape threatening to “bring down Teresa,” they knew something would eventually snap. What was probably an added bonus for them was the reaction of a very unstable Jacqueline. She was so upset by what transpired the night before the reunion taped that she just sat home. Or did she? Sources have come forward to suggest she was ranting and raving to the Bravo producers so much how she was going to expose Teresa, that she was FORCED by the Bravo production team to stay home because she couldn’t control herself. According to her own tweets, she was out all night at the infamous Kim G’s condo drinking and ranting. That car waiting outside her house was to keep her in, not drive her to the taping. One remark from Teresa to Caroline makes this sound extremely plausible. Andy asked Caroline why Jacqueline did not attend the reunion. Caroline cryptically accused Teresa of being the reason. Teresa growled, “we can’t talk about that because that’s next season.” Also, Caroline said Jacqueline was home crying for three days. What did she know ahead of time?

(Please remember that during season two, Kim G stood firmly at Danielle’s side against Jacqueline’s daughter. She was firmly at Danielle’s side even though Danielle tried to harm Jacqueline’s sister-in-law. There may be a quiz later.)

“I feel nauseous and feverish. No reunion for me.Sorry guys.XOXO!”

“I can’t be part of the Charade anymore. It’s unsettling. It’s disturbing & against what I stand for. I’m a REAL housewife.”

So… let’s lead up to this point. Skip to season four, which unfortunately was filmed before the season three reunion so Bravo could mess with timelines to throw us off the trail.

The Fabellini launch party was probably meant to be Bravo’s start-of-season-four party. They get the housewives together and start some little spark of drama to set the season. Since it didn’t go their way, they showed it before the Posche Fashion Show. It doesn’t explain the lying about people not being invited or Melissa’s 100% fabricated story of watching the kids. Did Bravo intend for the set-up to NOT include Teresa have Teresa rejoin the gang to support Melissa against the dancing allegations? Was this all ruined by Jacqueline’s desire to stir up drama? Remember – Jacqueline was crying for three days….. Hence, Bravo left her off the reunion.

25 Sep  Kristen Anne ‏(Someone who works for Posche)

@——— last thing I’ll say is Andy Cohen had reunion slated to film 9/27 & changed date just so they could film our fashion show:)

Why was the PFS so important if none of the women were walking in it this year? If these women are the biggest celebrities in Franklin Lakes, why wouldn’t Kim P. want the extra press to promote her boutique? It was a perfect opportunity for a scam.

23 Sep Joe Gorga ‏

RT was not invited  @melissagorga said she couldnt go to #Fabellini launch party bc she babysat Tre’s kids, what stopped @joegorga from going?

This could actually be true about Joe. Perhaps the anti-Teresa team members were not invited because the PFS went so terribly wrong. If Jacqueline hadn’t cried setup, there was probably a script to have Teresa defend Melissa. Nobody told Jacqueline, and she just had to stir the pot. She just couldn’t help herself. The look on Teresa’s face said it all. This was not going according to the script she was given.

One very astute viewer made some excellent points:

23 Sep Giudice Fam Fan #1 ‏

Notice she now doesn’t say it was a mutual friend it is HER FRIEND!

23 Sep Giudice Fam Fan #1 ‏

So Jac will send Joe Gorga the messages but won’t show them to Teresa, wow!

23 Sep Giudice Fam Fan #1 ‏

Kim G and Monica C have reasons to set up Teresa, Kim D I think was the pawn to get her to the salon. I am finding this very icky to watch!

Let’s skip to January 28, 2012. Teresa hosts a birthday party for Gia and Milania. Bloggers take to the web to report a nasty exchange was overheard when Melissa confronted Teresa over some photos. She asked Teresa’s photographer to take pictures of her. Teresa told him no, she was not paying him for that. Raised voices. Melissa goes away mad. Just go away. (Sorry, I like Motley Crue).  Cut to September 24, 2012. Melissa goes on the Wendy Williams show to claim a physical altercation went down. Teresa can’t say “boo” about Melissa without it making the press. Her sisters and hairdresser would have been all over Twitter to cut Teresa into chunks. The party planner herself took to Twitter to set the record straight.

24 Sep ElviraPartyPlanner ‏@PartyElvira

Gia’s party was @SpaceOdysseyUSA & I promise u @WendyWilliams that @teresa_giudice did not touch Melissa!!! I was there the whole time.

Is this a last-ditch attempt to stay on the show? Reports are sketchy as to who’s coming back and who’s not. Perhaps money has become the major player here:

#RHONJ WAGES season 4 caroline 265,000 albert 12,000 chris 35,000 albie 35,000 lauren 27,000 Teresa $355,000 Joe $38,000 Gia $5,000 Jacqueline $240,000 Chris $14,000 Ashlee ( for season 3) $22,000 Melissa $65,000 Joe Gorga $45,000 Kathy $50,000 Rich $10,000 Victoria $8,000 Joseph $8000 So I can understand why Caroline needs to think about it, it’s nearly half a million dollars to her family a year REPOSTING this comment from this site: Read More Here

Look at how much more Teresa was paid then the rest of the cast. Is this because Bravo was going to crucify her this season? I can see how this sets off the great Caroline Manzo. It makes the money squabbling very telling as they are all claiming to afford huge houses and luxury cars… and just how are the Lauritas going to hide this from the bankruptcy judge? Remember Teresa withdrew her bankruptcy petition. She just a list of creditors lined up to take her to court unless she pays them back faster than they can file. Very few have, by the way, so she appears to be paying down her debt.

Before anyone jumps on the Teresa is scum bandwagon because of overspending and underpaying, remember these people have all filed bankruptcy as well – Larry King, Walt Disney, Donald Trump, Willie Nelson, Elton John, Abraham Lincoln, Henry Ford, Charles Goodyear, Mark Twain, Dorothy Hamill, etc. They didn’t stop spending money; they worked harder. They didn’t take to Twitter to take out their frustrations.

While we’re at it, famous people who have children autistic children include Sylvester Stallone, Holly Robinson Peete, Toni Braxton, Dan Marino. They didn’t take to Twitter to take out their frustrations.

Jacqueline has probably lived the most dramatic life of all the New Jersey housewives. Married young, pregnant, divorced, questionable job to support herself, arrested for assaulting a boyfriend, spends money on breast augmentation, snags herself a rich man who was engaged at the time, shotgun wedding, punches sister-in-law while pregnant, befriends a former felon/stripper/drug cartel girlfriend, gets on a TV show where she drinks and fights with Danielle/Kim G/Dina/Teresa, son diagnosed with autism. Oh, she is listed in an $11 million dollar bankruptcy suit for using company funds to furnish a lavish lifestyle, and another lawsuit claiming ownership of some other company’s trademarked water. (This was settled by paying off the other company – they didn’t win the lawsuit.)

Let’s look at the others:

Teresa: college degree, married, four kids, one bankruptcy rescinded, husband totally out of control

Melissa: questionable job, college degree, married, three kids, husband with several lawsuits

Caroline: married, husband’s father killed in mob-style murder, three kids, had a local radio show for a month

Kathy: married, daughter was extremely ill, healthy son, husband with several lawsuits including rubber check writing

Does Jacqueline deserve to badmouth people and fill the internet with cruelty and hate because she has problems? No. The woman has sent out more that 9,400 tweets in three years. Don’t “real housewives” have problems in their lives? Is there time in the 24-hour clock to live your life and crucify people based on gossip and lies? Perhaps she should actually become a “real housewife” and get herself away from cameras and into therapy. She could start with deleting her twitter account.

I don’t know if you remember last year the remake of Upstairs Down Stairs was on PBS, well it’s on tonight w/2 epis starting at 9 est. I’ve set my DVR for USDS. Oh and Boardwalk Empire started 2 weeks ago on HBO & I didn’t realize it. Thank goodness my DVR was set so I started watching that last night. It comes on at 9 est. I have my TiVo recording Hell on Wheels at on AMC at 9 est. Whew. So much good stuff to watch. 🙂

    • Winston says:

So excited for Once Upon a Time. Just caught up on all the episodes on Netflix so I’m ready 🙂 Have you seen Snow White and the Huntsman? I watched it a few weeks ago and thought it was very good (wasn’t expecting much.) Even though the Snow White story has been told so many times, it still kept me on the edge of my seat. It got me back in the mood for Once Upon a Time.

      • plainviewsue says:

I just loved Once Upon A Time!!!! Haven’t seen Snow White movie yet.

      • Powell says:

Winston I haven’t seen SW & the huntsman but I will when it comes on HBO, Showtime or what network on DirectTv. It’s on pay per view now but I don’t pay extra when it’s gonna come on eventually. Glad to hear it kept you on the edge of your seat.

    • butterisafruit says:

I think the Good Wife is on tonight TOO. So much to watch, so little TIME. I’m looking fwd to 666 Park Ave. Love Upstairs Downstairs.

    • Stars99 says:

Love, love, LOVE Once Upon a Time… I was pleasantly surprised when I started watching last season…

    • plainviewsue says:

DVR is in overdrive on Sundays!!!! Once Upon A Time (and at 7PM there’s a one hour recap episode), followed by Revenge (cannot wait!) and I’m gonna try 666 Park Avenue. I adore Terry O’Quinn from Lost. Then at 9:00 is Good Wife. Of course the reunion, plus Long Island Medium. AAAAH!!!!

  6. Winston says:

Wow! The blog today is a fabulous read. Loved the info on how much everyone is getting paid.
I do believe that what they earn is a huge source of contention and that alone could create the bitterness we see.
Taylor and LeAnn must have met in rehab….allegedly.
Happy Birthday Error 404! I didn’t comment back then but I did read and you were one of the funniest! Hope life is treating you well.

    • MKValle says:

I never really noticed how homely Leann is. Sorry to bring up the looks, Brandi’s ex must see something in her, I’m sure she has lots of money. He’s an actor that I’ve never seen or heard of so he could probably use the money

      • Powell says:

MKV Leanne was never a beauty but when she was younger she was cute. She had more weight on her and dressed for her body type. Now she’s just doing things w/her look to try and hold on to Eddie. She’s trying to look like Brandi & that has ruined her looks herself. Her so called posse of managers/friends that say they have her back against Brandi when they should be assisting her w/her look. Those people aren’t her real friends, they’re her paid friends.

  7. Powell says:

Happy Birthday Error 404. Another fellow Libra.

  8. I dont got my ping,
Jac deleted tweets calling T white trash etc. Warning, Jac fans do not read…
no, im not pimping my site, its wordpress hosted, I have no ads and only blog every other week on average, just letting the ppl know who posted about the texts missed a couple things b/c” ”Miss I keep it Real” Wacko deleted like the coward she is.

I give u props NMD, you started this blog unexpectantly, you’re doing a damm good job. You put us to shame. Ppl don’t realize its hard to have a blog when you have to blog everyday. Loading pics, posting, customizing links which half the time Word Press link customizer don’t work, I always use the one in gmail then copy and paste.

Have a good day ladies and gents..

  9. butterisafruit says:

Thank you Rebbeca and No More Drama. You’re a fountain of information.

I’ve been watching so many PBS British dramas, I’ve become rather obsessed. Once I
got back from Church this morning I made my VERY first coddled egg.Cheese, cream
and scallions..just a teeny bit. It was SMASHING.
And took way too much time LOL. Now I know why they do it for special occasions.

I’ve been reading those texts from yesterday’s blog. Both Jac and T should step away
from each other. No good is going to come from either of them. It’s very unhealthy.

    Have a blessed Sunday everyone…

    • Perhaps we should have high tea before NJ starts.

    • Rebecca says:

I was obsessed with BBC America comedies and dramas a few year back when that’s what BBC America was all about. Now its nothing but Top Gear and Gordon Ramsey. Boy do I miss my Footballers Wives. If anyone has Netflix, you should check them out.

      • butterisafruit says:

I agree with you regarding BBC America. It’s not the type of programming I was expecting. It used to be nice and now it’s all competitions. I used to LOVE Biography, especially on Sunday. It would have Midsomer Mystery some Inspector Morse and a few other well written programs. Now it’s junk (for me anyway).

        • lovemamaearth says:

You might find Midsomer and others on PBS. Wallander just started up again. While it’s too dark I still appreciate the realness of it. Kind of like our Southland only more focus on one suffering fixitkindofguy.

          • butterisafruit says:

Right Lovemamaearth. I am able to get Insp. Lewis and Wallander..and the comedies on PBS Rhode Island. The Boston PBS (which is my local one) is full of concerts, frontline etc. I’ve seen two of the Wallander ones. You’re right it IS dark. I have to be in the mood for that one.

          • Rebecca says:

Wait – what? Are they new Wallanders or repeats? I love Kenneth Branagh!

            • butterisafruit says:

              From the PBS site……
.Kenneth Branagh returns to his remarkable Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated role as the soul-searching Swedish cop in Wallander Series III, with three gripping new Kurt Wallander cases based on the character created by bestselling novelist and father of the Nordic noir craze, Henning Mankell.

In An Event in Autumn (September 9), The Dogs of Riga (September 16) and Before the Frost (September 23), the somber inspector’s hard-won and fragile new hope is put to the test when the most brutal of crimes — and his own demons — are unearthed. But you’ve got to give the emotionally uneasy cop credit for even trying.

Looks like the next one is Oct 14.

            • lovemamaearth says:

They’re new to us I think but played in UK a couple of years ago. I don’t think we import them very quickly. Inspector Lewis series is interesting too.

              • Powell says:

No we don’t. During the PBS giving season they always say it costs a lot to get those shows. I watch the soap Eastenders and it used to come on 5 days a week then repeat them on Saturday but it cost so much only two epis air on Saturday and I think we are 2 yrs behind. One of the main characters died 1 1/2 yrs ago and we’re watching epis w/her.

      • Powell says:

Rebecca I love BBC America also. I still have Footballers Wives & the 2nd FWs scheduled on my TiVo. I loved it. And that prison show, can’t remember the name of it but Tanya from FWs was on it when she went to jail. How about Mistresses. The new season came on last yr & it seems like they only showed 5 epis. I really liked that.

        • Rebecca says:

Love me some Tanya Turner!!!! Boy when they got rid of people on this show – they really got rid of them. Poor Jason.

The last Mistresses season was just a throw in to finish it off I think. The actresses were awesome though.

          • Powell says:

Tanya Turner’s role was so well written. Out of all the soaps/dramas we have had I have never seen a character kill a husband, put tanning lotion on her white baby to pass it off as an Indian baby because her baby was not her Fs baby so she swihed the Indian baby as her own to be her & her BFs biological baby. That was a fun character.

So that’s why Mistresses went off. It was getting good to. I loved all of the actresses. I’ve seen the actress that played the doctor on a few British shows.

    • Powell says:

butter I’ve always enjoyed PBS & especially British programming.

      • butterisafruit says:

Powell, I”m going to have to make you a Coddled Egg!! (once NoMore’s scones come out of the oven. lol)

    Happy Birthday Error404!

  11. kmhl, regarding your post in the nite from the last blog. I know, too well, your opinion of me. I am tired of being scolded by you. Your very first post to me was to “correct” me when I stated we shouldn’t condemn all Japanese people because of whalers; you just wouldn’t let it go & I gave up. Recently, after I posted something in buttf#cking, with a cautionary message beforehand, you took time to tell me I was inappropriate instead of just passing on by my comment. H#ll you even took the side of the mole who effectively high-jacked this blog for two days. You said I was mean after I called her out; and this was after Lynn blocked her & told everyone what happened! I really don’t need nor do I appreciate your chastisement. Just leave me the eff alone & don’t comment on anything I post ever again.

    • ItWasTorture! says:

Who high jacked the blog for two days? I like you both and know all too well that text can be (not the best word…) misinterpreted.

Personally I have problems understanding shrugs and sighs here. Shrugs seems like indifference and sighs seem like a kind of scolding or haughtiness. But the ones who use the terms don’t seem to have those attitudes.

      • LME… The blog was “hijacked” last year and turned into a real casino !!! A lot of back and forth and for awhile it turned dark and nasty..
And I agree with you about “written words ” . I think at times ,folks get all razzled by some comments based on the mood they may be in at the time of reading them..JMHO
Sometimes I read a comment that someone posted and that comment gets shoved down and may not make sense to someone reading it… One of the reasons I try REAL HARD to address the person that I am replying to…I find it helps at times to avoid confusion and hurt feelings…and for the record.. I do understand what Dame is talking about……

REVENGE and 666 tonite…. !!! YEA…Maybe ?? I’ll catch HWS after WWHL… But then again… Restaurant Impossible and undercover restaurant does repeat at midnight on Spike…

        Hugs and Peace to all

Yes DD, you are right. I made a mistake and got mad when I shouldn’t have. I just couldn’t take the bashing anymore. My husband works for free probably 40% of the time. • klmh…. my comment posted today was not about the March incident with regards to mr ford’s was about another incident that occured earlier on the blog ..and FWIW…the asshat DR who I was referring to was charged with ASSAULTING a PATIENT… everything I said and felt about that idiot was true…

            • klmh says:

I am sorry DD, for the bad Dr., but for my post earlier in the year. I regretted it as soon as I sent it. Wish I could have erased it. You are an asset to all of us.

          • lovemamaearth says:

Nice of you to say that KLMH. I remember that discussion and think you both had made good points. No one is perfect. I know great drs & I know some who are just there for the money. And I know even more who are overworked and burned out.

And I worked in a minor health field for a short while. Many would rather eat Paula Deen diets and then take $600 worth of pills to counteract the poisons they just ingested. So I understand in a tiny way how frustrated it can be. And I am also seduced by taste and cheapness of unhealthy food. I sure don’t know what the answer is. A friend of mine said her health insurance co gives money back if their cholesterol & BP are normal.

        • mkvalle says:

Help! Someone needs to explain “casino” to me. I keep reading it but have no clue (I know it’s a gambling establishment, don’t know what it means on here “ turned into a real casino”

          • LaineyLainey says:

You are so funny mkvalle. It’s one of Kelly Bensimon’s little phrases. She once called a chaotic moment/situation “a casino” – which made sense to no one at the time, but it has become a favorite saying here.

          • mygirlsmom says:

You know, for about six months I kept reading that expression “causing a casino” and could never figure out exactly what was meant by it. I even googled the definition with no luck. Then one day I found the refence library link on Lynn’s blog and the lightbulb went on. I had completely forgotten that was a Kellyism.

    Happy B-day Error404!

  13. BB says:

Happy Sunday and Happy Birthday Error 404! The sun is out today after a dreary cloudy rainy day yesterday. Looks like a lot of people are watching things other than the RHONJ reunion tonight. I hope so. I hope the rating for that are way way down. I’ll be watching Revenge and other things. Well, off to enjoy the day!

    • butterisafruit says:

Enjoy your day BB. It’s dank, dark, cold and rainy here. I might light a fire.
I’m not going to watch the reunion but I’m dying to read the blog tomorrow..this is the best
place thanks to you No More Drama and all the other wonderful bloggers.

  14. One last thing.. Jac has more than 9,400 tweets, she deletes half other so the ppl who pay her “millions” wont see.. she rants and rants lol.

If that salary chart is right, why the heck is Meanie Leakes making close to a million?

  15. not THAT Jill says:

Im watching Bravo-they are playing the NJ season 1 reunion. What a difference in everyone.
Jac and Dina didnt speak to each other after the finale-Andy asked if it was b/c of Danielle, Jac said NO but Dina and Caroline said YES. Jac said other things were going on and Dina seemed surprised. I think the Laurita family has lots of in fighting going on.
Caroline defended Teresa at every turn.
Andy asked about Mafia connections-Dina said its brought up because they live in NJ-if they lived in Ohio no one would say anything…UMMMMM HELLO-maybe the fact that their FIL was found murdered in the trunk of his car with his penis in his mouth might have something to do with the Mafia questions… Dina said people should think about the grandchild who maybe didnt know about the murder…maybe they should have thought about that before they went on TV.
Caroline is droning on and on about her children leaving the nest and how she is at a cross roads..

    • WindyCityWondering says:

The Laurita/Manzo dynamic was very interesting. Dina was keeping Caroline in check and basically ignoring Wacky Jacky. Dina should have stayed and the other two should have left after that season.

  16. The Tin Man says:

It doesn’t matter to me how many other famous people filed bankruptcy or whether or not they had good reasons. I still think Teresa is “scum,” although that would not have been my first choice in words, but since it was used here to reprimand those who are like minded on this issue, I will repeat it. And I will not be voting in any more polls, but you all can keep on doing it until you get the result you want. And just for the record “No panties were bunched before during or after the formation of this comment.”

    • rabblerouser2010R says:

I think I might be missing something because I don’t see where anyone was called scum.
As far as polls go, I saw a brief comment yesterday that mentioned how the tide’s seemed to have changed on one of them and it was suggested that maybe some people were voting more than once. Some people said they did…and it was fine. Was there more to the issue?

      • LaineyLainey says:

I seem to recall KousinKathy saying the word scum. I’m not sure to whom she was referring. She might have been saying that Tre was hanging out with KimD and so that makes KimD the scum? I actually don’t know what or who she was referring to; it seemed a bit like a non sequitor (like a random filler). It was in a talking head on part two of the “Hi Melissa. Remember me?” episode.

        • LaineyLainey says:

ooops, i should have read the first comment (Tin Man’s). Unless someone says to me Lainey you are ______. (which HAS happened), I try REALLY HARD not to take things personally. Tin Man, did someone call you scum? I didn’t see that anywhere and I hope it didn’t happen. It better not have happened!! That would be scummy!!!! 🙂 Re the poll: Hey, you never know!! The new poll might actually turn out the same as the first poll!!!?! One never knows! I voted more than once on the first poll, too!!! It was fun! 🙂

        • Rebecca says:

Richie used it the episode he was whining about Teresa’s handbag. Or maybe I should say Mr. Rubber Check Man used it the episode he was whining about Teresa’s handbag.

      • lovemamaearth says:

I think I’ve seen the adjective scum used before for some of the RHWs.

lol at Tin’s “No panties were bunched before during or after the formation of this comment.”

    • Tin Man – I didn’t re-post the poll because it didn’t give the answer people wanted. I just wanted to see the difference if we could only vote once. It is absolutely no reflection on those of us (myself included) that like to vote more than once. My suspicion is there are a lot of people that don’t like Tree that read this blog but don’t say anything because they don’t want to get into conflict.

    • Rebecca says:

Oh no, you don’t have to like Teresa at all, but I have seen so many people throw that one around AND it was used as a theme by the cast to reprimand Teresa this season when she carried an expensive handbag.

However in this case I was trying to point out it is not a reason to forgive crazy behavior – ala Jacqueline. She is named in the Laurita business bankruptcy. She has been given a pass by quite a few folks for her erratic behavior on the show because she is dealing with a lot of stress, including bankruptcy. Lots of people rich and poor file for bankruptcy every day but don’t project that hatred at everyone around them.

      • Powell says:

Right Rebecca. The only thing I feel for Jac about is Nicholas. Just because she’s mad a T for silliness is no reason for her to have such crazy behavior.

    • lizzle says:

      I sometimes don’t wear underwear either. 🙂

BTW Tin Man…. I enjoy your posts. I sometimes wish I didn’t have a heart… maybe then, I would be able to speak as candidly as you.

    • mkvalle says:

I think Tin Man was referring to this sentence from Rebecca’s blog “Before anyone jumps on the Teresa is scum bandwagon because of overspending and underpaying, remember these people have all filed bankruptcy as well “

      • Rebecca says:

Yes, and the “Teresa is a scum bandwagon” was started by Richie, but it only applies to Teresa and not Jacqueline, who did the same thing, but gets a free pass.

You can call anyone a scum for any reason, but Richie’s use of it was very hypocritical considering his past money discrepancies.

  17. rabblerouser2010R says:

I don’t know if those salaries are actuate but if they are, why is it that only Gia is getting paid in the Guidice clan? And makes the lest out of the other kids? The new comer Walkie children make more than her? And 1 Miliania is worth 1000 Mazo’s.

    • plainviewsue says:

Also according to that, Joe Gorga makes more money than Juicy? I guess its cos JoeGo does talking heads. And yes, Milania should make the most money out of all of the kids. Interesting how Manzo boys make more money than Lauren…………………………….

      • LaineyLainey says:

“Give Milania a Raise” – the t-shirt. I would buy it.

      • mkvalle says:

Milania is one obnoxious little kid, sorry folks, that’s how I feel. When she’s a teenager, she’s going to be the karma that Teresa deserves.

        • LaineyLainey says:

I love that kid. I think she’s going to turn out great!! She will never be a compliant little wallflower, but she’s going to be just fine.

          • mkvalle says:

I hope she does! I hope all those kids become quality members of society. I still think she’s going to give her mom hell during her teen years.

          • disgrazia4 says:

I totally agree! Love little Milania!

          • contessa says:

Lainey, I am with you on Milania. My niece who is now 40 years old, was just like that as a child. Funny her older sister was considered the “good girl”, never out spoken and always did as she was told. They both turned out just fine and are great, productive and loving adults. I adore Milania and I believe that when Tre and Joe have enough and she is really misbehaving she does get corrected.

          • WindyCityWondering says:

ITA plus she is starting to listen to her sisters and her behavior will change as she is in school – but she has personality to spare!

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I agree. Gia was a bit sassy and over-the-top during Season 1. It was like she matured between Season 1 and Season 2 and became much more well-mannered.

I do not think it is fair (or very NICE, for that matter) to speak negatively about MINOR children. I have 3 much-younger female cousins that were such a handful that when it came to the 1st 2, before the 3rd one was born, we called them “Thelma & Louise” when they were little (and NONE of us wanted to babysit them). Then the 3rd one came along and was even more badly-behaved than the first 2 — no matter how many time-outs and punishments they were given.

Today, every single one of those girls has turned into a beautiful, extremely intelligent (all on the honor roll and award winners for several different reasons) well-mannered young lady who would make any parent proud. Sometimes, intelligent and spirited children act out and behave poorly because they are bored or because they feel it brings them attention.

It does not necessarily mean they will grow up to be serial killers or the negative “karma” of their parents. I know wonderful parents who have a child (or children) who turned out to be very bad or problem or troubled or even criminal adults. These parents experience anxiety, sorrow, and worry over these children that they did absolutely NOTHING to deserve.

And I know people who never should have had children at all because they were such AWFUL parents, and their child (or children) turned out to be wonderful members of society DESPITE their negative backgrounds.

Sometimes, in the end, it is simply a crapshoot that has absolutely nothing to do with either one or both parents’ karma.

        • Tracyshea says:

Ha ha” the karma that Teresa deserves” love that!

    • Rebecca says:

Maybe its based on how much time they spend in front of the camera. You have to be a certain age to be filmed for so many hours.

I have a feeling with Gia’s acting/modeling/dancing career, she’s probably out-earning each of the Manzo kids.

    • So does Rosie not receive a stipend for her appearances ?? !!!

    • RealHousewifeVA says:

The salary info is never accurate. Another source says that the Manzos and Lauritas were actually making more than Teresa. But in the beginning of the season Jac tweeted that she didn’t care if Teresa was more ‘popular’ because they both were making the same amount of money.

      • Rebecca says:

If she was told that by Bravo, but it comes out later Teresa was making more, it would set her off – and Caroline too.

      • ATLnNYC09 says:

They started out making about 70,000 in the first season so the current salary information seems about par, give or take a few thousand. I think the housewives in other city’s might make more because they probably have lawyers to negotiate. I dont think NeNe makes $1 million but she probably makes half of that. The NY housewives Ramona, Sonja, LuAnn make about $250k.

  18. Happy Birthday Error 404! Miss your wit & wisdom.

  19. plainviewsue says:

Rebecca, your write up was excellent!!!!!! Loved reading it.

    • Rebecca says:

Thanks! NMD had the hard part doing the editing!

      • lovemamaearth says:

I enjoyed it too. And YES the hardest part is the editing. lol

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I agree that your article was EXCELLENT (and SPOT-ON), Rebecca. It was well-thought-out, well-reasoned, and well-written. In the words of Ramona, “KADOOZ” to you for doing such a great job. 😀

  20. Just realized, this is now and not wordpress!! Congratulations!!!

    • It’s still a wordpress site but I also got the ?address? – that doesn’t seem like the right name for it – as well. Both should work.

      • lizzle says:

Yep… just recently I have been able to type in… before, I would google “lynn family wordpress blog”, because I would mess up the URL …surprisingly… there are a lot of lynn family things on the net. I did feel a little creepy perusing through the Lynn Family photos for a couple of minutes on their blog.

  21. VV says:

Not looking forward to RHONJ reunion. I don’t want to watch…dreading it because we already know the writing on the wall. Everything has been leaked and we’re just going to rehash the same thing over and over again. If the Reunion had been with a different moderator, it would be more interesting. Andy is going to be his usual goofy self, his head is going to be left-right-left like watching a tennis match. He will favor everything but Teresa and he will as usual drill her and try and embarrassed her and asks softies to the rest…

    • mkvalle says:

Me thinks you fib VV. You’ll be there with the rest of us tonight, watching the show.

    • melthehound says:

,….. But you’re going to watch anyway, aren’t you 😉

    • VV says:

Yes, I will watch. I don’t want to because I know how it will be played out. Teresa will be blamed for everything blah blah blah blah blah…

    • disgrazia4 says:

VV I hear you. It’s all just so much BS at this point. But I’ll be switching back and forth between other stuff, I’m sure. If we’re lucky T’ll drop kick Andy across the room. Turn the reunion into a FIELD DAY and everyone will laugh and get along! They’ll wheel Andy out in a rolling dumpster! 😀

  22. Powell says:

Rebecca I love your “real housewifes” vs “real housewives”. I’m not a HW but being around HWs all my life I’m pretty sure you hit the nail on the head and all our “real housewifes” on this blog would agree. I know you all would have these faux housewives crying uncle based on all the trials, tribulations, laughter and tears you all have so lovingly shared w/us. It’s such a shame that the real premiseof “The Real Housewives of (insert a city) is gone. S1 of OC we saw “real housewives” living their lives at work, play & w/husbands & kids, w/a party here, a shopping trip there, a fight/disagreement w/a friend or for. Now it’s all about who has more money, a bigger house, more fab clothes, competition amongst women, jealousy & venomous attitudes. I don’t mind a small fight here & there but it’s ALL a big fight every epi, Twitter & FB wars, texting wars. Twitter & FB are monitored for inappropriate language, bought followers. I wish it was monitored for these stupid & utter ridiculous fights. Since Chris won’t take Jac’s phone & laptop I wish Twitter & FB would shut her down.

    • lizzle says:

I love, love, loved Rebecca’s article! As a full-time “bonus” mom (just kidding, Brandi) of three months to a pretty self-sufficient 3 year old and 7 year old… I don’t have time for shenanigans anymore. I don’t even have time to reply to you guys anymore 😦 So, I think Jax needs to lose the housekeepers and nannies. She needs to fill her time with work. Now, I am not a religious person but I do believe the bible is full of great lessons. And I think there is a reason for the part of the Bible that talks about being idle. Something like “Idle hands are the devil’s playground”.. someone here might know this verse.. so I think there is a reason why we should not be idle… and Jax is a good example of this.

Rebecca… your article was very insightful! I didn’t think about Jax (and the others) like that until I read it.

      • lizzle says:

Also… Alex in her rumor fix blog talked a little about this in reference to Aviva. She thinks Aviva isn’t getting anything out of this experience and Alex is worried for her.

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I’ve only watched the last 2 of Alex’s RumorFix blogs. I thought she did a good job in both. I do recall her expressing worry and concern for Aviva. She also compared Aviva to Kelly Bensimon in many ways. She did not do it in an ugly way either. She was logical and matter-of-fact.

There is a part of me that cannot stand Aviva for being so MEAN and JUDGMENTAL.

Then there is another part of me that feels sorry for her because I think that only a truly miserable and deeply unhappy person could behave the way she often does.

          • LaineyLainey says:

Maybe I am a meanie, but I have yet to feel compassion for this woman. Her delight in putting down others rattles me a lil bit. Not in a good way.

  23. Stars99 says:

In polling, I kinda think you have to decide what kind of outcome do you want… Are you measuring levels of intensity as measured by multiple votes… or are you wanting a straight forward singularly weighted opinion? I’m glad you’re doing the polling so that people can only vote once… I was recently part of a conversation about that very issue… I think when you can vote more than once – it places a higher value on those who are passionate about the topic one way or another because they’re the ones who will have the patience to vote multiple times to ensure their voice is heard. While others, who may be less passionate – will vote only once because they really don’t have strong feelings about the topic in the first place. And still there are others who may be just as passionate as anyone else, but they just don’t have time to vote more than once cuz real life interfers with their polling lives. I blame American Idol on our multiple vote mentality… One vote per person equalizes the playing field – everyone has the same weighted voice.

    • The Tin Man says:

There are four computers in my house. If I wanted to, if I cared enough, I could vote on every one of them. I have access to a computer lab where I used to work, and if I wanted to, if I cared enough, I could vote another thirty times that way. There is always going to be something that won’t sit right with some folks. This whining about the polls being wrong reminds me of a certain red-head from New York who didn’t like Andy’s poll results, and she was no fun either.

  24. RealHousewifeVA says:

Just FYI, the second poll also DOES allow for multiple voting. I refreshed and was able to vote again. Everytime I refresh I can vote.

  25. RealHousewifeVA says:

I’m going to watch NJ reunion tonight on a rerun because REVENGE IS BACK! WOOHOO!!

    • Powell says:

      🙂 🙂

    • plainviewsue says:

Okay, this is my deal. Watching Once Upon a Time, starting at 7:25PM, cos it’s two hours. I will then watch some of the Giants game on a different tv with hubby and sons. 9:25 I will start Revenge, then I will watch Reunion, plus WWHL. Tomorrow I will watch Good Wife, Long Island Medium.

BTW, interesting for WWHL. No NJ housewives are on.

  26. BB says:

Wow, I didn’t realize people took these polling things so seriously. I was voting just for the fun of it. Crazy me.

    • RealHousewifeVA says:

lol me too, actually I admit I hardly ever voted 😦 But I was interested in the ‘controversy’ of it. I actually think a lot of people come here who dislike Teresa and don’t comment but probably do the voting since it’s easy and anonymous.

    • lizzle says:

It’s NJ… there’s nothing fun about it. I blame nobody but Bravo for that.

      • Powell says:

The are #1 on the blame list. And it’s because of Bravo’s sticky fingers in everything that we/me, I’ll mainly speak for me, don’t like the NJ cast and I can’t say that about the rest of the franchise. I don’t like se of the other HWs because of what they have shown themselves to be. Not NJ. Bravo manipulated everything all in the guise of supposedly “taking people down” & then the cast jumped on it to make it happen.

        • lizzle says:

When Dina and Danielle left, they could have brought on two housewives that were not fighting with Teresa. They could have brought on two wealthy, beautiful independent business women… which is exactly what NJ lacks. They could have shown the Real NJ, which is full of successful women and amazing people. I know there are amazing peeps in Jersey because many of you comment here!

    • Powell says:

      Me too. 🙂

  27. BB says:

I’m in real trouble and I need an intervention. I took the Bravo Dish IQ test, got them all right (even though I don’t even watch Gallery Girls and Miami) and now I bleed Bravo Blue. I need help ASAP!

  28. Maggie says:

    Good morning all,

I was confused on why Anderson Cooper was focus so much on whether Teresa was supportative of Jacqueline dealing with her son’s disability. It didn’t make much sense to me. It wasn’t a season storyline. Jacqueline stated over and over she is done with Teresa. She called Teresa scum. So what kinda of support could Teresa provided Jacqueline?
During the time Jacqueline was attacking Teresa on twitter, Teresa never revealed that Jacqueline’s son had autism. Jacqueline talked about Teresa’s marriage and husband.
I recently read that Andy Cohen makes Teresa lack of support of Jacquelinet an issue on the reunion.
If that is true, then Anderson is just following bravo’s talking points. Will see what happens on the reunion. If Andy does make it an issue, I will not respect Anderson as a journalist. If he doesn’t want to damage his reputation as a journalist he needs to reconsider his relationship with Bravo.

    • Powell says:

And that to me is what you want a friend to do when they are supportive. I’m still at a loss of why Caroline really hates T but I’m even more so as to why Jac hates her.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

IMO, I think Jac hates Teresa for a myriad of reasons that in HER mind make absolute sense. Jac’s mind does not appear to be well at this point, however. In fact, she has appeared to be slowly losing her mind more and more over this past year.

I personally think ONE of the reasons Jac hates Teresa is out of a sense of GUILT (that she will never, ever admit). She KNOWS she screwed Teresa over by trying to get Teresa to discuss her financial matters on camera when Teresa had not yet concluded her bankruptcy matter. She KNOWS she screwed Teresa over by mentioning all of her own speculation regarding all of the money Joe and Teresa were ALLEGEDLY still spending on certain items which could have seriously hurt Joe and Teresa’s case and possibly have gotten them in trouble with the I.R.S. She KNOWS she participated in making things with Teresa’s family WORSE as opposed to BETTER. She KNOWS she DM’ed people about Joe Giudice allegedly having affairs and continued to tell random STRANGERS the same thing. She knows she was one of the MAIN ones (if not THE main one) who implicated Teresa in allegedly “setting Melissa up” (when it was Jac, and that producer and the REST of the crew who were REALLY setting TERESA up to take the fall and look like the VILLAIN).

Jac SOLD someone who had been a friend to her for OVER 10 years OUT.

Isn’t it interesting that the names JUDAS and JACQUELINE both begin with a “J”?

And, not only is she NOT getting the outcome for which she and her “crew” hoped: the total destruction and breaking down of Teresa (It’s JAC who appears to be having a breakdown, NOT Teresa). Things just keep getting worse and worse in Jac’s OWN backyard.

Jac is displacing much of her anger at certain things going on in her own life onto Teresa. I think SOME of that displaced anger has to do with anger that Jac actually feels toward HERSELF for what she has done. Because she cannot face it, she continues to obsessively twitter (and possibly drink) and talk negatively about Teresa to try to convince not only the PUBLIC, but also HERSELF, that Teresa is the Antichrist (so that maybe she can sleep a little bit better at night). JMHO.

    • LaineyLainey says:

there’s “scum” again! Not sure why that excited me. Yes, I agree Maggie, it would behoove AC to stay away from Bravo. Hey, what’s good for the goose…does that mean I should stay away from Bravo? don’t answer that.

    • contessa says:

      Hi All,

I read on Famewhorgas and I think it was Tre’s 2nd blog or whatever (senior moments here), that Tre knew from the get go and she honored Jaq wishes not to talk about Nicholas’s autism. Tre sympathized then, and she was also notified from a publicity person of Jaq’s the story was going public and Tre asked that person to convey her thoughts and feelings to Jaq again. I think that is enough. Jaq dropped the friendship, dissed Tre on twitter about a lot of personal things, but Tre never uttered anything about Jaq’s issues. I think Anderson is really stooping low here…if you are a host I think you should be neutral to the whole story. I never for one moment believed that Tre didn’t let Jaq know she felt bad for Nicholas, but remember we are getting the news a year later after they stopped speaking, and this coming from Jaq while she is crazed. This issue is an out and out lie as far as I am concerned, if what we are hearing is correct. I think Tre, as a mother, would sympathize, no matter what anyone thinks of her.

      • melthehound says:

Well, Teresa stopped. Jac hasn’t shut her liquor filled mouth yet and I would bet pretty good money she’s still going at it today. We all saw, as Jac told Teresa that she needed to cut T out of her life (or something very close to that affect). Then we watched the rest of the season, as well as the following year, as she complained Teresa didn’t want to give her the time of day. Someone noted elsewhere in these comments that Jac is the first to sever a relationship and always the first to complain that her wish has been granted.

        • LaineyLainey says:

“Someone noted elsewhere in these comments that Jac is the first to sever a relationship and always the first to complain that her wish has been granted.” this fits her to a T. ironically, it’s a T. LOL!

  29. JustDee says:

Bringing this over from last blog ’cause it was at the end –

I’ve been slacking! I just noticed Kristen (KJo) posted on our Book Chat page.

PS……….Also on Book Chat, I have a whole list of cheap Kindle books I’ve read lately that I’ll post sometime today.

IMO, Jac is not a ‘real’ housewife in any sense of the word. Her constant stalking and trying to ruin Teresa has become obsessively stalkerish and she continues to make attempts to mess with her ability to support her family as she works through a very public bankruptsy. Jac used her teenage daughter for a storyline and now she is going to try to use her baby boy for one – all the while she is still trying to be the victim! What exactly is Jac the victim of? Jac constantly says she has “proof” but to date no one has seen this so add slander to her list of her unhousewifey activities. Ashley was honest when she said her mother was always at the center of the drama. Every franchise seems to have a crazy and Jac is the RHNJ version. What makes her repugnant to me is that she is using her children as fodder for a tv show instead of actually raising them…..

  31. not THAT Jill says:

Now Im watching the season 2 NJ reunion-Jac is complaining that Danielle never called to congratulate her on her son birth-Danielle said “you told me to never speak about your son”…Jac likes to tell people she is DONE and then cry when they want nothing to do with her!!!

  32. 137 votes so far. Way more than the people that have commented today.

Thanks for thinking of trying it this way. Could prove very interesting. 🙂

I voted and didn’t post a reply. Is there a relevance?

      • BB says:

I think NMD is just trying to see how many people vote in the polls, but don’t actually comment on the site.

        • LA Debra says:

Ah! I faithfully read the blog, enjoy it very much, and am very grateful to all who have kept it going. I don’t always comment, but most days I try to read the comments and try to get to know all who get together here.

      • Kansas Girl says:

Me too. I voted and have not commented. I just don’t have anything creative to say today. Some days are like that.

Here’s my comment to go along with the ‘I dislike them all vote’. I’m not as interested in the topic of this particular poll as it will be to see a more realistic results! Watching REVENGE tonight!

    Go 49ers!!! 7-0 🙂

  35. not THAT Jill says:

Ok so Jac forgives Danielle at the season 2 reunion-Danielle who pressed charges against her daughter and said horrid awful things about Jac and her WHOLE FAMILY-she forgives her….But she cant leave Teresa alone? Teresa has not hurt Jac in anyway like Danielle did-what is betweent Teresa and her family is on her and not Jacs concern….seems so strange to watch this!!!

Caroline does not forgive or forget – she is a pompous asshat!

      • Nancy says:

        Hi WCW,
I wonder where all of Carolines anger comes from. When did this start?

        • Rebecca says:

          Menopause, empty nesting, Punta Cana…

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

According to several commenters who live around Caroline, much of this anger may come from a woman named “JILL” (and not Zarin either. *Shrug*).

Joe’s brother, Pete, recently tweeted about his anger over the way Anderson Cooper treated Teresa. He wanted to know why Anderson did not treat Jac the same way by asking her the hard-hitting questions. He also advised Anderson, in order to be fair, to get the rest of the RHONJ cast on his show and grill THEM just as HARD as he grilled Teresa the first time she went on. He suggested several possible questions for Anderson to ask the rest of the cast. One of them was, “Ask Caroline about JILL?”

Who is this JILL people keep mentioning that ALLEGEDLY gets more time and attention from Albert than his own wife, Caroline? Who is this JILL about whom Caroline allegedly KNOWS but chooses to turn a blind eye?

JILL could be one of the main reasons Caroline always looks like she either just sucked on a lemon or smelled something bad (*Shrug*). OR maybe Caroline was just BORN a BITCH (*Shrug*), and it has absolutely nothing to do with any Jill at all (but may be a large factor in her OWN fractured relationships with many of her OWN family members).

Since we are talking about voting today may I remind everyone to PLEASE vote on Nov 6th.
This election is very important as 4 judges will probably be leaving the Supreme Court within the next 4 yrs.

Why do you constantly feel the need to bring politics here? Will YOU be voting?

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Nancy, you can go to Empress’ blog because thats where MTH does his political rants. Plus she also has some really knowledgeable and articulate posters with the same passion as you.

      • Nancy says:

Thanks WCW. Trust me that wasn’t lost on me. I wasn’t attacking anyone on my most so I’m not sure why he had to make it personal.

        • melthehound says:

I asked you 2 simple questions. That’s it.

          • lizzle says:

I can answer them for you:
Question 1: Nancy is passionate about politics.
            Question 2: Yes, Nancy votes.

I am a non-voting nihilist that appreciates the passion that MTH and Nancy possess.

BTW… kids are out for the day… so I am not pulling a Jax 😉

            • Pghemtchick says:

I think you are wrong on the second unless something’s changed. Thought our Nancy is a Canadian citizen. Which in no way removes the passion as she has been in the States, but removes the voting capability. Either way yay for passion, but politics is one reason I’ve shifted back into lurker mode here.

              • lizzle says:

Did not know that… thanks for the correction. I haven’t really seen the political discussions, but I don’t get to read all the comments anymore. And sorry to hear that Pghemtchick… I was wondering where you went. I promise not to mention the P word again.

            • melthehound says:

To be eligible to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen. In most states, you must be 18 years old to vote, but some states do allow 17-year-olds to vote. States also have their own residency requirements to vote. For additional information about state-specific requirements and voter eligibility, contact your state election office.

              • lizzle says:

I did not know someone could vote at the age of 17… I guess I learn something new everyday. That is why I love this blog… great camaraderie and great information… you can’t get that on wiki!

Who watches Restaurant Stakeout on Food Network? I never have. I’m giving it a try now.

  38. ATLnNYC09 says:

Just when I thought I was out of the muck that is Real Housewives of New Jersey, I get pulled back in. Reading those text messages between Jax and Tre was a revelation. I always sensed Jax was a little off and unstable. She is clearly certifiable now. She was having a whole text conversation with herself for over two weeks. I thought she was done with Teresa? Why is she still texting her? This woman is crazy.

    • LaineyLainey says:

Love this post! ” Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in” – you do Michael Corleone and Silvio proud.

      • Nancy says:

        Hi LL,
We need a 12 step program for these shows. We just can’t stop. lol

        • LaineyLainey says:

I can’t quit either. But it’s the camaraderie here, that keeps me associating with the demon that is Bravo. gonna watch Amazing Race and Survivor to connect with folks about other topics, too!

          • Nancy says:

May I ask you what you do at your church?

I wonder how long these Housewives shows will be on? They are so toxic for all involved.

            • LaineyLainey says:

Hi Nancy – you mean the church I attend? Or the church at which I work? I’ll answer both questions. The church I attend (non denominational), after years of volunteering in children’s ministry, at this point, I just show up and worship and sit and listen to the lesson. We recently changed churches and we are not even members there, yet. At my workplace (a Presbyterian church), On Mon, Tue and Wed, I work in the church office as an Administrative Assistant to the Associate Pastor, the Youth Director, the Office manager and the Financial Assistant. On Th and Fr, I teach Spanish at their pre-school. This is my 16th year at the Presbyterian Church. I really love my coworkers, the members and active non-members 🙂 and my students!!! Thanks for asking. Are you thinking about working at a church, too?

              • Nancy says:

My husband and I had a free clinic in the United Church up in San Francisco.
It was also a soup kitchen and I miss it terribly. I have not found a church yet here in LA
but we are looking for one. Thanks for answering my post. You are lucky to have found a good one.

                • LaineyLainey says:

Oh wow, I’m sure you REALLY miss your ministry. I would think there are so many Church’s that would love to utilize yours (and your husband’s) gifts. I really respect the place where I work because they have a great outreach. They are a “firstfruits” church and take a percentage of their contributions FIRST to support an array of agencies in our community who assist those in need (education, food, housing, assistance, medical clinics, dental clinics, etc.) as well as global organizations. They also are part of a community of church’s who are part of a ministry called “Interfaith Hospitality”, where they take turns housing the homeless for a week at a time. Makes the housewives’ problems seem so petty in comparison.

              • disgrazia4 says:

Hey Lainey, Church Lady!! I forgot. Do you FB or tweet? If so follow Unvirtuous Abbey (if you don’t already), first world prayers for first world troubles. I bet you’d enjoy.

      • Powell says:

Lainey I was thinking if that as I was reading ATL’s comment.

Question – why didn’t anyone teach Aviva that calling people names is not nice? In the new RHNY promo she is calling Ramona a wimp!

    • Nancy says:

It looks like we are going to have a NHL lockout. Darn!!

    • stellastars21 says:

Well to be fair people taught me that and I gues I didn’t learn anything either cause I have some choice words for some of the housewives that I don’t even know. Or do we not count the names we call the housewives? Lol 🙂 I certainly can’t stand Aviva’s pompous self-righteous antics either though.

    • JustDee says:

She’s the Gold Medal Name Caller! I’ve never seen anything like it! She hits HARD and LOW right out of the box.

    • California35 says:

I hope she won’t come back, remember when we were talking about how good it would be if BRAVO has the ladies once and get new ladies every season? 🙂 or maybe that was just me 😛

These season there were three, I only liked Carol (at first) lol. I still do, but we don’t really get to see more of her story. Once they get into one story they go with it for episodes. First the Heather being offended to being told she talks too much episodes, then the Aviva being offended for not getting the deserved ovation for making it to the girls trip.

      • lizzle says:

I think Bravo should just do 2 seasons of each city and then move on… it gets nasty by the 2nd season and real, real nasty by the 3rd

        • lizzle says:

BTW… I would like to see Real Housewives of Charleston, SC. It is the debutante capital of the world. There are big houses and big money there as well, but it is a culture unlike any other housewives show. I lived there for awhile and loved it.

          • LaineyLainey says:

            That would be highly entertaining!!

          • California35 says:

Ah! I was thinking about it, what other cities to go to. There are two in California already, so no more from here.

Chicago was one we thought could be an addition. DC did not survive.

            • LaineyLainey says:

They should go international…oh wait… the language thing. I was thinking London, Mexico City, Paris…..but then there’s the spanish and french and the subtitles…so nevermind.

              • djprincessc says:

I think Real Housewives of Las Vegas would be great. Vegas is so over the top and has tons of money!

  41. ATLnNYC09 says:

Am I the only one that gets annoyed at Kathy? Shes always trying to clarify words and phrases to Teresa like she doesnt understand English.

    • Nancy says:

I’m sure glad she’s not my cousin. I’m glad she’s not coming back as a full time housewife.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Kathy ‘s attempts to be relevant or a “translator of Teresa” are just one of the many ways she is annoying.

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

No, you are not the only one. Kathy constantly condescends to Teresa and insults her in her own maddeningly PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE way. She then COWARDLY plays dumb and insists she did not “mean anything by it” when directly confronted on that behavior by Teresa.

Kathy may have a better command of the English language.

Kathy may be more intelligent than Teresa.

But Teresa has the successful cookbooks and the charisma to make people love, hate and simply talk about her. She makes an impact, whether it be good or bad.

People are also starting to make very good comments about the new haircare system for which Teresa is now the spokesperson.

Yet, Kathy is the one who is the hairdresser (Who is REALLY the DUMMY here?).

Kathy is so damned BORING, she could be a genius. And it would not make one damned bit of difference in her jealous desire to surpass Teresa’s success in certain areas.

Sorry, Kath….life isn’t always fair. Maybe if you would have been a more loyal cousin and stood with your BLOOD, Teresa could have helped you and Rich out (despite her incorrect pronunciation of words and “deer in the headlights” looks at times. *Shrug*).

  42. VV says:

My take on the polls is this. Teresa has lost just about every poll on WWHL if she loses here, it won’t really mean anything. A few years ago, Wetpaint had a poll on which was the most popular dog on RHOBH Giggy or Jackpot?. Jacpot won. Very odd. My guess was Adrienne’s PR team was behind it.
Teresa has 3 NYT best sellers, a hair care line, the drink Fabellini, multiple endorsements as well as commands the highest paycheck of the cast. She is so far from everybody in RHONJ that we don’t even know who is in second place. You don’t accomplish all of these things if you don’t have a strong loyal following. You just don’t.

    • Nancy says:

Co-sign. Her haters will stop at nothing to take her down.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Well regarding Bravo – fixed to fit the storyline always!

    • stellastars21 says:

I totally agree. She has a huge following that buy her stuff and make her a bestseller. But at the same time her sales don’t reflect all the people NOT buying her stuff. You know what I mean. For every person buying her stuff there are thousands who don’t. Even people here who are on her side in this gang up say they wouldn’t buy her stuff. I don’t doubt that there are people who would take the time to vote all day against her but that doesn’t take away from silent viewers who don’t like her that possibly vote cause it is their way of being involved without being seen. I’m not discounting your point I’m just trying to be open to reasonable possibilities.

      • melthehound says:

By that same token, Stella, you could also say that for every person who watches the HWs, there are thousands who have never even heard of them. Further, they probably don’t even know what, a HW (and I would dare say, Bravo), is. I think there are some who will by HWs stuff just for the sake of having it (in a collection type thing) while others, fans or not, simply don’t care what they are selling.

        • stellastars21 says:

Oh eah I thought of that scenario too. I was thinking more like let’s say Teresa had 1,000,000 people buy her stuff. Not in sales $ but just people regardless of how much they bought over time there are about 2,000,000 viewers I think so that means the other 1,000,000 might voice their thoughts through polls for example. Of course I think people vote a lot of times in the same polls. I think it happens both ways regardless of the subject though. But I am probably thinking waaaay too much about it. I warned people I overanalyze stuff lol. Hey hope Mel is doing well.

          • melthehound says:

I understood what you were driving at, I was just trying to add to it. Here’s what I think of these polls. They are about a television show and are supposed to be fun. I don’t get why there is so much pain and gnashing of teeth over them. I expect with the current one, a dead heat between like/hate and the rest somewhere in the middle.

Mel is doing quite well. Thank you 😀

            • stellastars21 says:

Hey you are right about what polls for tv shows are supposed to be. Yes debating all the things we will never know about who votes and why right down to the nitty gritty does suck the fun out of it lol.

  43. Powell says:

    Diva I love Restaurant Stakeout!

  44. Tracyshea says:

It seems that everyone feels Andy and or Bravo do not like Tre. I am wondering why that would be? They pay her a lot of money. Why not support you ” biggest asset”? And if they don’t like her why just not get rid of her? Her fans? I, myself, am just sick of all of them! I am almost dreading the reunion . All the yelling and swearing! I remember being able to watch them with my daughter in the room. She was much younger then but the content was different. Now she’s 17 and I do not watch them with her in the room. It’s too much of a bad example of how women should behave. We can disagree but not be mean. We can have discussions without swearing and by speaking intelligently to one another. This all used to be so fun.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

IMO, Teresa is tough and can take the villianess role. She is a good employee. She really doesn’t care what they are saying to her or about her unless it concerns her brother or her parents. Her downfall is she doesn’t realize she can shut them down and Andy plays to that. She always looks puzzled when she is asked a question about the next season or when the answer would screw up the season as it is being played. IMO, none of the others could handle that role – not for a season, not for two seasons and probably not for a couple of episodes.

    • disgrazia4 says:

OMG I wrote the same thing today at Priscilla from Wasilla’s blog. I can’t watch the show around my daughter anymore! It was a good blog.

      • lizzle says:

You also had a great link with the President of NBC Universal talking at TED talks. I really enjoyed that and to an extent… she is right. What does well on TV (high neilson ratings) is the conscious of America. But like you said… she has holes in her argument. But it made me think… what I watch is a reflection of me. And for the first time, I am thinking I shouldn’t be watching this stuff.

    • melthehound says:

They like whatever fattens their wallets. Always follow the money and you’ll get to the truth in everything. If Bravo/Andy didn’t like Teresa or thought she was somehow bad, she would be gone. Regardless of what anyone thinks personally of these women (and by extension their families), fact is, we all watch.

    • Powell says:

I don’t really have any idea I’d Andy likes T or not but like you said “why not support your biggest asset?”. Why would they allow Mel, Joey & Kathy come on to supposedly take her down. That’s not support to me. That & why they all hate T is what I want the answer to. :/

      • lizzle says:

I think Andy likes Teresa. Regardless of what people think of her… she is a breakout star, like Nene and Lisa. I don’t think Bravo knew that it would get to this point…. but they are the ones that set the wheels in motion. If Melissa did say in a production tape, “I am going to take Teresa down” and still hired her… shame on them. And I don’t think they will ever let that tape get out, because it shows a lack of humanity on ABC’s part.

      • Sam says:

I’m currently working on a novel with a writing partner who is also a screenwriter (both film and TV), and the guy is obsessed with conflict. “We’ve got to ratchet up the drama!” he says to me. “Let’s get these characters mixing it up!”

So I imagine this is exactly what the Bravo guys were telling each other before they cast Melissa on RHNY.

    • ATLnNYC09 says:

This is a very good point. Bravo cut Jac and Kathy has a limited role next season but they know they better not dare give Teresa the axe. Their ratings would drop dramatically. Yet they continue to allow the cast as well as Andy berate and verbally abuse her. Teresa holds some playing cards at the Bravo table. I would like to think she could tell them to put a stop to it or at least tone it down. She may not realize how much power she has on the show like NeNe or Lisa to where she can actually alter how she is treated on the show. Maybe she does and just allows it. Who knows?

      • lizzle says:

LOL… above I said Nene and Lisa are breakout stars, like Teresa… and that was before I read your comment. And your right… she might not have known this before… but methinks she does now!

        • LaineyLainey says:

I was going to say “I CAN’T BELIEVE TAYLOR!!!” for that picture, but then I remember who she is… So never mind. With tha picture, we know that she and Brandi will not be friends on the upcoming season.

    • Nancy says:

Hi Califonia. 🙂 “Taylor” will get hers.

      49ers WON!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • California35 says:

I think she is already getting hers, too bad she is not chainging or pretending she changed. We’ll see when BH comes back. On one preview, she looked so different, but the clip was so short. She was wearing a hat and sun glasses also, so I didn’t see much of her.

        Congrats on the win.

I saw the one with Sonjia and Cat, and I just sw the one with Nene and Ellen Barkin. It was nice to see a WWHL when the two guests like each other and they know about the bravon shows enough to coment on them.

My hubby walked in on that scene and he asked “Did he buy that for her?” and I said, “No, I am sure they are leasing it and writing it off.”

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Damn! I’m such a SUCKA at times. I actually thought he really bought that car (paid in full) for Zoila. I’m ashamed to admit that I cried over that scene. Zoila deserves that and more for putting up with “YEFF”!! YEFF has a good heart, but, God, he is SOOOO high-maintenance!!!

    • California35 says:

I am watching an old episode of Guliana and Bill, I am considering watching the new season, so I thought I get an idea of what has happened.

      • Powell says:

I love G & Bill. I saw a preview where they are buying baby clothes and the saleswoman asks what kind of bottles do they want and G says ” bottles. The kind you put milk in”, or something like that. I am so happy for them. I personally think one day G is gonna get pregnant and not have any problems.

        • California35 says:

Funny you mentioned that, I am watching the episode when she lost baby and she is having a hard time about moving on. He is so there for her, but she felt like maybe she wants to move on foster….to try again.

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I used to love that show too. I’m still pissed at DirecTV for pulling The Style Network from my package. Now, I can no longer watch the show. It’s a reality show where you do not feel the need to take a shower afterward. They both seem to really love each other too.

Like you, I personally think that G will one day get pregnant naturally because I’ve seen something similar in real life. My cousin and his wife went through SOOOOO much trouble trying to get pregnant with their first child. They were told that it was highly unlikely. After much prayer (and MUCH money spent), they finally had their first child.

Then….oops, without even trying (and after they had budgeted for only having one), here comes the 2nd one (Those are the 2 I referred to up above that my family called “Thelma & Louise” behind my cousin and his wife’s back because those girls were SUCH tiny TERRORS).

After that, my cousin’s wife got thyroid cancer and underwent treatment, and they were told that they would probably NEVER have another child (which they were o.k. with financially AND because, at this point, they were losing hair over the bad behavior and maddening antics of “Thelma & Louise”).

Well, 3 years after that, here comes another “li’l female gangsta” to terrorize my cousin and his wife.

They then decided to get her tubes tied, and he insisted — just to be EXTRA SAFE — on also having a vasectomy(*Shrug* For a time, it seemed like it was a real-live example of the saying, “Be careful what you wish for.”).

Dexter and Homeland fans… How excited are you?

Also the good wife, once upon if time, and Revenge. Then new to Sundays are The mentalist (was moved to Sunday) and 666 Park Ave premiering. I have all of those and Boardwak Empire, so I will be busy and entertained all night 🙂

      I’m Bummed!
Dexter and Homeland are my two favorite shows and I don’t have Showtime here. 😦

      • California35 says:

        Come on by 🙂

      • California35 says:

Joking aside, sorry about no cable. I feel I should not spend money right now, but I just HAD to get it. There I’d no way I can’t have my shows eather 😦

        • JustDee says:

My DirecTV bill at home is ridiculous but I justify it as a lot cheaper entertainment than going out!
Right now though I’m in a furnished rental with my mom that only has basic cable. Ugh.

      • LaineyLainey says:

Homeland is so amazing. I’ve loved Claire Danes since My So Called Life. She is so talented and the story is amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! But alas I don’t have Showtime or HBO or Starz…booooooo!!!

    • TexasTart says:

Dexter fan here! Final season….can’t imagine how they will round it out, but I’m thinking one sibling is not going to embrace another’s call to duty. There is not is way too much good TV on Sunday night.

      • TexasTart says:

Not sure what happened to my typing but there is way too many good shows Sunday night!

      • Powell says:

I’ve never watched Dexter. Last season. I guess they want to go out on top.

      • California35 says:

Is it the last season? No, there will be another after this new one. I am going to read tv guide again, maybe I misunderstood.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I agree. Why are all the good shows jammed on Sunday night while, other nights of the week, we are starving for something halfway decent to watch? I loved Dexter, but I had to give it up when I had to choose between having HBO & Showtime (HBO won).

Wow, what a night, Good Wife, Revenge, LIM, Reunion,Football, I am dizzy with possibilities!!!

I am going to have to check out what my viewing options are and then plan accordingly.

It is supposed to be in the 100’s starting tomorrow here in San Diego, I am about 4 or 5 mins from the beach and it isn’t going to be much cooler, I feel badly for the people that are inland….

    • Powell says:

Oh a 100. If it’s not humid I love that weather. In MD tomorrow it’s going to be 73. It’s starting to turn into cooler weather and I’m sad about that. I’m a warm weather girl. It was in the high 70s, 78, 79 last week & this weekend so I hope we get a bit more of that before it’s stays in the low 70s & lower. Bye, bye my friend summer. I know. I’m silly. 🙂

      • princesspindy says:

To a Valley Girl like me, it is always humid here!! I can handle the heat, not the humidity!! But like my hubby says, “That’s why we have a pool.” and my daughter replies, “That’s why we have A/C!”

    • California35 says:

This is why I styed in both yesterday and today.

    • lillybee says:

      99 here, today and tomorrow.

  53. JustDee says:

If anyone’s interested I posted the last 6 books I’ve read and what I thought of them on the Book Chat page. All under $4.99 on Kindle. ( )

  54. Powell says:

I know you all saw FlippingOut but this us so funny. Jenni-‘ he told me Chris works from home”, Jeff- “he told me Chris was in the military”, Vanena- ” he told me he was a producer in NY”. Jeff-” really”, Jenni- ” we were all very confused”. It’s like an Abbott and Costello routine. LOL.

    • melthehound says:

… and the best answer of that episode was, ‘it really isn’t any of your business’ – Andy to Jeff. Best answer because he is right. JL spends WAY too much time in the personal business of his employees, makes way too many missteps in treating his female employees (the pattern on the carpet, making cracks about Vanina’s name, talking about how she pees, what is Jenni wearing under her jump suit, and the list is long and undistinguished- Anyplace but a Bravo type show, his ass would have been hauled into court) like crap and then has the nerve to take Andy to task on anything he says. I thought JL was a pig in his first season, he hasn’t risen above it since then.

And this is why Melissa will always be a fake snake to me:

    • RealHousewifeVA says:

Okay that came out weird, I was just trying to paste Jay’s tweet. It’s an old tweet, but shows true colors

    • California35 says:

Wow, is he joking? I just can’t tell some times. I know she didn’t like him because he trashed her singing, why would she trust him now about this?

      • RealHousewifeVA says:

I read it’s an old tweet and someone said it was because he trashed her singing that she told him to trash Teresa’s businesses to make it even or something. Teresa had nothing to do with his opinions.
