Real Housewives of New York Finale – All’s Well that Doesn’t End Well
From Bravo “A night of charity turns into a night of chaos as Ramona throws an event for domestic violence victims and while Aviva is a no-show, her father, George, goes in her absence and tries to demand an apology from Ramona. Sonja and Heather try to put the finishing touches on Sonja’s toaster oven box and the winning look takes the team by surprise. Aviva meets with Heather for her fitting and is hesitant with the look that is chosen. Ramona and Sonja are at it again and this time they make a scene at Heather’s charity event. Finally, it is a night of confrontation at Carole’s book party as Heather confronts Ramona for ruining her charity event and Ramona and Aviva’s disagreement comes to a boiling point.”
I’ve been enjoying this season so far. Much easier on the blood pressure than last year. One thing I’ve noticed is I’m not on team anyone. It’s sort of nice to enjoy most of them – gulp even LuAnn at times – and not really dislike any of them. I know Aviva is the “villain du jour,” but I think she can turn that around. She’s got a pretty good attitude on twitter as far as I can tell. (JMHO). Carole has come off her pedestal a little as the season has unwound. I think she’s been in a lose-lose situation all year trying to keep peace with these ladies. Considering the casino in St. Barths, I think she did a pretty good job. Avoidance mostly. Heather won me over in St. Barths. She’s going to have some sort of conflict tonight with Sonja and Ramona – but quite frankly they’d wear on my last nerve if I had to be around them a lot. They are fun and all – but Ramona can be pretty rude and over the top, and Sonja – bless her heart – doesn’t hold her alcohol well. I guess I’m as wishy washy as Carole – but it’s nice to enjoy the show and not have to worry about Alex turning red.
But all in all I’m pretty happy with the switch up in cast members. LuAnn nodding her head through Ramona’s rant about Aviva last episode was a huge indication of how people can move on – and get along – if they don’t have a toxic redhead in their ear stirring up trouble.
Gallery Girls: Wrap Your Trouble in Dreams
From Bravo: “The ‘Gallery Girls’ are back in New York minus Chantal, who has skipped off to Paris with her boyfriend. This only adds to the tension, since Claudia is left to hold down the fort at EOC while unpaid bills continue to pile up. Maggie is over-confident that she has a new job, while Amy searches frantically before her two-week deadline runs out. In the meantime, Kerri struggles with deciding between her job and internship.”
I’m finding this show difficult to relate to. It’s probably a generational thing.
