Housewives News by NoMoreDrama
Wowza. Danielle Staub is one step closer to returning to Bravo. TMZ caught up with her yesterday, as she was coming out of a meeting with Andy Cohen. Danielle confirmed that her meeting included talking about the housewives, but did not come out and confirm her return to the show. Danielle’s oldest daughter was with her for the meeting, and said that she’s signed with a modeling agency and has been working hard. Danielle was clutching what looked like a hard copy of Andy’s book. Asked about her thoughts on Teresa – she said she doesn’t watch the show, but from what she’s read on her twitter feeds she has empathy. She said she hasn’t talked to any of the cast members – and has no interest in them whatsoever. Watch the video here on TMZ’s site.
Was Melissa Gorga of the Real Housewives of New Jersey slandered by a John Karagiorgis? The controversy is over this interview Karagiorgis gave to a blogger. Who is John? He’s also known as Johnny the Greek, husband of Penny, who owned the salon where Teresa and Kim D had their hair done before last year’s Posche Fashion show. It seems like Penny and John don’t like Melissa much. In fact, they feel that Melissa has been bashing Penn’s salon (along with Kim D’s boutique). So much so that John admits in the interview that HE brought in his friend Angelo to set Melissa up. He also feels that Melissa had enough sway with producers to have Penny edited out of all the scenes on the show. Rumors have been swirling for some time that Penny would like to be a housewife. But John didn’t keep his interview to the fashion show and reality show. He dished on Melissa’s past, relationship with Joey and assorted other people. He also insinuated some things about her sisters. He also claims that his wife Penny has the full story and will be spilling soon, but that she’s been advised to wait. (Wait for someone who is willing to pay for it I’m guessing). He has come under twitter fire since the interview was posted. Here are a few of his tweets:
Kim Zolciak is still battling with her mother over the “porta potty” incident at her wedding. For those of you that didn’t watch Kim’s spinoff from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, the big drama at the wedding was when Kim’s aunt refused to use the deluxe porta-potty, and insisted on entering Kim’s home while the baby was sleeping. A big fight between Kim’s mom and husband ensued – uncharacteristic for mild manned Kroy. Since then, it sounds like Kim’s daughters haven’t seen their grandparents, and grandmom Bonnie fought back with a law suit asking for visitation. Kim has submitted paperwork to the judge – read the tmz article – asking that the suit be thrown out. (Do grandparents even have legal standing or is this just to give Kim a story line for her second season?) Kim’s daughters have provided affidavits to the court. Some of the things TMZ quoted:
“We both love our grandparents, but due to their actions at the wedding of [Kim and Kroy] … we have grown apart.”
The girls say they have no real desire to see their grandparents … and insist they have too much going on in their lives to be forced to hang with Granny for overnight visitations.
“We do not live a crazy or abnormal life. We are not forced to appear on television with our mother.”
Mama Elsa and Elaine Lancaster If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, check out the “fight” between Mama Elsa and Elaine Lancaster from yesterday’s real housewives of Miami. It was hilarious. I’m not sure I can describe it, but Mama Elsa is saying things – sort of random things – to Elaine. Elaine has this look on her face like WTF and says quietly. I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying. And Mama Elsa is like – what do you mean you don’t understand – which I had to chuckle at because I had no clue what she was saying. And then Mama Elsa gets up to leave but can’t stand and falls back down on the couch and so she tells Elaine she has to leave in her dirty red rag (beautiful dress). It was funny only because it was Mama Elsa and she can get away with crap like that – but rude too. Anyway – Elaine was tweeting up a storm. Here’s a few.
And got some twitter love from the cast:
This is my dilemma. Does being old give Mama Elsa a pass on being old? And are you still classy when you call Mama Elsa “Chuckie” – an obvious reference to her face? Ugh – I’d like to love them both because they are the best entertainment on the show.
Sounds like Vicki Gunvalson is in for another season of Real Housewives of Orange County. She tweeted this yesterday: “It is going to be a long day. Bring on the cameras.” Tamra Barney and Heather DeBrow have also been spotted with camera crews in tow. Alexis is out. Gretchen Rossi continues to ask for prayers for Grayson, Slade’s son, who underwent brain surgery to reduce his tumors last week.

Alexia’s Venue Magazine Party
“I will hit you with my pocketbook!” – Mama Elsa
Doctora Karent makes her grand arrival at the Venue Magazine party. The rest of the ladies (except Joanna and Lisa) are already mingling inside. Karent is busily dragging everyone into photos and they slowly begin to disappear to the bar, outside, anywhere where there is no Karent.
Mama Elsa and Adriana are approached outside by Miss Elaine Lancaster. Mama Elsa is angry about the way Elaine has been badmouthing Marysol and rips into her. A beautifully hilarious exchange follows where they hurl insults at each other and ends with a defeated Elaine flowing away in her “filthy red rag.” Marysol, Ana, and Lea join the ladies outside. Lea invites Marysol to her gala (again) and they discuss Marysol’s hurt feelings over Lea’s remarks about Philippe marrying Marysol for a Green Card. Lea apologizes, they hug it out, Lea snarks, they make up. For now.
Karent finds the ladies and Adriana pulls her away to talk. Adriana confronts her about the Tweeting incident at the gallery. Alexia quickly swoops in and calls Karent on her obnoxious fame-whoring. The legitimacy of Karent’s relationship with Rodolfo comes into question again. After being continuously mocked by Alexia, Karent makes the mistake of throwing in her face that she has been praying for her son Frankie. Alexia goes nuts and kicks her out of the party.
Marta Moves in with Lisa and Lenny
“Just don’t come home with any Botox or surgeries, okay?” – Joanna
Joanna decides that allowing Marta to move in with Lisa is the best thing for her and Romain’s relationship. Joanna takes Marta and her luggage over to Lisa’s home. The ladies discuss the rumors surrounding Romain kissing a dancer at his club Mynt. Marta thinks that Joanna is being naïve by staying with him, but Joanna really wants to make things work. Lisa gives Joanna her secret to marital bliss – ordering take out and pretending like she cooked it. Awesome idea, actually.
Ana and Robert Discuss Finalizing Their Divorce
“Robert thinks that I overstep, and I have no boundaries, and Robert is absolutely right.” – Ana
Why are Ana and Robert not staying together? They seem perfect for each other! Le sigh. They sit down at work to discuss their separation and pending divorce. Ana is concerned that Robert is going to screw her over in the business if they are officially divorced. She laughingly videotapes him writing a promise to get a pre-nup with his next marriage.
Karent and Lisa Dish About the Venue Magazine Party
“So high school!” – Lisa
Lisa visits Karent and they discuss the drama that went down at the Venue Magazine party. Lisa is upset that the ladies are picking on Karent because she is vulnerable and won’t fight back. It is sad to watch Karent struggle so hard to be welcomed into the group because she wants it so badly, but she needs to stop coming on so strong and mellow out a little bit. And stop talking about Rodolfo!
Alexia and Ana Dish About the Venue Magazine Party
“The Cuban came out of me!” – Alexia
We get to see Frankie playing basketball with his Mom. It is really touching to see them interact – he is doing so well. Alexia breaks down with Ana as she talks about struggling with Frankie’s injuries. But they quickly turn to ripping on Karent for her over-eagerness to fit in and for bringing up Frankie at the Venue Magazine party.
Joanna Finds Romain’s Shady Emails to Another Woman
“Ur def a good player…please erase my texts.” – Romain’s Email
Ominous music is perfectly placed as Joanna reads an email sent by Romain to another woman. Joanna calls Marta and explains that Romain left his computer on and she read his emails. There is an email that shows photos of a vacation spot where he is planning to take the other woman with the comment “Remember everything I told u last week, I meant everything…we will be together by the end of this year.” It appears that they were sent before Valentine’s Day of this year. Marta says that she had seen a change in how Romain interacted with the family around that time and Joanna agrees. She hangs up and cries.
The Obligatory Mid-Commercial Fake Out
“When they make out, is there tongue involved?” – Lisa
We learn that Rodolfo only kisses with ‘make believe’ tongue on his soap operas and that Lenny does labiaplasties. Random.
Lisa and Marta Snuggle in Bed Over Take-Out
“I cannot believe that Romain is emailing a dancer when he has a beautiful supermodel as his fiancé!” – Lisa
Daysy the maid delivers a tray of Chinese take-out to pajama-clad Lisa and Marta who are in bed discussing the issues with Joanna and Romain. It turns out that the other woman is a dancer at Mynt. It is not clear if it is the same dancer that he was accused of kissing the other week. With these emails coming out, I can guarantee you that Romain is counting his blessings that Marta is not still living with them. She is pissed!
Ana Takes Joanna Grocery Shopping
“Is this your first time at a grocery store?” – Ana
Ana and Joanna hit up Whole Foods to grocery shop for a special dinner that Joanna is making for Romain. Joanna decides that she wants to wait to confront Romain about the emails. They discuss surface level relationship issues and Ana goes into what fell apart in her marriage. She and Robert tried marriage counseling, going away to reconnect, but that the ‘silence was deafening.’ Joanna tells her that she and Romain constantly bicker and then she drops the email bomb. Ana encourages Joanna to work on her relationship if she truly loves Romain. On a side note, I wonder if grocery shopping is really more fun in four inch Christian Louboutin leopard print stilettos?
Joanna Cooks Dinner and Confronts Romain
“I’m trying to do something nice and I’m failing at it.” – Joanna
Marta comes over to help Joanna make dinner for Romain. Not the best person to help since she hates Romain and wants Joanna to leave him. Joanna wants to fight for him since she doesn’t know if Romain actually cheated with the dancer, but says that she will walk away if that happened. They fight over Romain, they fight over cooking, they fight over cleaning. Joanna calls Ana for help with the recipe and Marta leaves. And in comes Romain. The table is set with brand new tableware from Pier One Imports (why didn’t we get to go on that shopping trip?), tapered candles, white roses, and Joanna in a super sexy orange party dress cut to her navel.
Romain is very impressed with Joanna’s efforts as this is the first dinner she has made for him in their five years together. He asks her what she wants since the dinner is such an unusual gesture. After tiptoeing around the issue, she confronts him about the emails. He confesses that he had wanted to leave her and tried to hook up with the dancer to seal the deal, but says the affair never happened. He felt left behind and ignored by Joanna and he still wants to be with her. They both want to stay together and agree to work harder on their relationship going forward.
Project Runway Finale by BB

This is it. Christopher, Dmitry, Fabio and Melissa will all have their chance to win Season 10 of Project Runway by showing at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. If their mini-show for the judges was any indication, they have some tweaking to do. All of them fell short in the styling department. None of them wowed the judges. They have 48 hours to get their acts together. Here we go.
Tim comes into the room and tells them his wish came true because all of them are showing in fashion week. He tells them to go home (to the hotel) and think about things, regroup, so the next morning they can reshuffle things.
The next day, they each try to see how they can take what the judges said and improve their lines. Fabio needs to go more luxury-looking. Dmitry needs to go younger, not so matronly. Christopher is confused about the judges’ critiques because he thinks he made what he’s been making all season and what got him there. He’s not sure what they want. Melissa needs more color, so she’s going to do a dress with some color, not just black and white. Tim comes in and gives them all a pep talk and takes them shopping at Mood with a budget of $300. Melissa is so happy because she’s completely out of fabric. Tim tells them to take what they already have and add to it and enhance it. They shouldn’t be starting over.
Dmitry wants to make a new top and chooses some black silk material. Christopher will be making a dress and he’s in a state of panic because he can’t find any fabric he wants. Melissa picks out some bright orange leather fabric to add to her black and white collection. Each designer has their own critiques of each other in their interviews. Christopher thinks Dmitry needs more innovation, Dmitry thinks Christopher has lost his way and Fabio thinks Melissa needs something that will have a big impact on the runway. Each designer meets with the hair people and Christopher is very indecisive. This is bad because the judges have already said styling is really important. I think the pressure is getting to young Christopher.
The models come in for their fittings and of course, Christopher is not ready. He’s totally scrambled in his thinking. Melissa is fixing the collar and sleeves on her jacket the way the judges suggested. Dmitry is trying different combinations to make sure his models look young. Fabio notices that one of Melissa’s models cannot walk in her white dress. Melissa thinks it’s the shoes, but it’s the dress. Chris is having a meltdown. Dmitry doesn’t think Christopher needs to make anything new because he already has plenty of pieces. 11 p.m. comes and everyone leaves.
The next day is the last day they will be walking into the workroom. They have until 5 p.m. and then it’s fashion lights out until the next day, runway day. Christopher’s make-up session goes much better than his hair consultation.
Tim comes in to check on the designers. Tim likes Melissa’s “blood orange” fabric. Christopher says it’s red; Melissa is so pretentious saying “blood orange.” Tim is concerned about Dmitry’s models’ hair designs taking the audience focus away from his clothes. Chris is all over the place and Tim tells him to get set on what he’s going to do. He tells him to finish what’s already in motion and get it together. Tim loves Fabio’s new pieces and tells him he’s had an epiphany. He tells Fabio’s he’s arrived and he has goose bumps. Christopher thinks Fabio took the judges critiques and ran with them and they’ve never seen that side of him before. Tim tells them all he’s very impressed and leaves them to finish up. Melissa has three hours to go and starts on the very complicated orange/red piece. Christopher is also running around like crazy. Fabio and Dmitry are chill. Tim comes in and gives them a 15-minute warning. He asks Christopher why he looks so stressed out when he most of his work finished that morning. Christopher tells him no, he has two pieces to finish. Tim tells him that’s ridiculous. 15 minutes later, Tim tells Christopher they are done and not to be so petulant. They all have a drink of champagne and leave the workroom.
The next morning, the designers arrive at the Mercedes Benz fashion venue at Lincoln Center, and all the last minute fittings, adjustments, and panic ensues. Each designer is emotionally drained and none of them have gotten much sleep. They have each given up a lot to get there. They are in awe of the huge, long runway and the one thousand empty chairs that will be filled before the day is over. Dmitry has a problem getting his models’ intricate hair and make-up done on time. Melissa has some regrets about her skinny white dress. She wishes she had widened it at the bottom. Christopher has a problem with his model walking in his gown. He had to trim off the bottom of it. It’s show time!
Heidi comes out and thanks the fans for making 10 seasons of Project Runway possible. She introduces the judges, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, and guest judge Jennifer Hudson. Christopher’s show is first. His fist two looks are short dresses. Third and fourth are shorts and tops. The fifth look is a purple coat. Sixth, seventh and eighth looks are long pants. The last design on the runway is a long gown with Christopher’s signature shredded look on the bottom. His colors were mostly black and different shades of brown prints. There were a few pops of color here and there.
Melissa is up next. Her first look is the textured jacket with skinny pants. Next is a long dress with a vest. Next is a leather top and slit skirt. Next is a bathing suit looking outfit with a shear long vest. Lots of vests and black skinny dresses, pants, and skirts. Very fashion forward. The model in the white dress looks very awkward walking down the runway. The last look is the “blood orange” leather dress. It definitely makes a statement.
Dmitry is third. His first is the white dress with the brown cutouts. His clothes fit so well on the models. I love the dress with the fringed bottom. I really like Dmitry’s collection. It’s very sophisticated. I hope it’s “young” enough for the judges.
Fabio, who’s line is the most unique, is up last. It’s pastel, flowy and beautiful. It has a simple elegance that I really like.
I liked all of the designers’ collections. One of the women in the audience said they were glad they were not a judge and so am I. I think it’s going to be a very difficult decision.
Back at the studio runway, Heidi tells them she is very proud of them and they did not let them down. Each designer has one model come out to stand beside them. Dmitry is up first and explains his collection. Heidi tells him she thinks he’s a great designer. Michael calls his collection astounding. Nina adored his sexy collection and called it highly editorial. Jennifer said she got a chance to know Dmitry through his collection.
Melissa explains her collection. Michael says she understands how a girl wants to look. They nail Melissa for the white dress the model couldn’t walk in, but Jennifer liked the dress. Nina says her hair and make-up was spot on and she loved her red dress. Nina says Melissa’s designs are cool and sexy without being slutty.
Christopher explains his collection. Michael loved his first look and said he started with a ka-boom. He’s the only one who dealt with print but Micael didn’t think the last gown belonged in the collection. Jennifer loved his opening look. Heidi said he made a lot of amazing pieces. Nina says he has the most wonderful ability to take a fabric and make it look light, but he didn’t do it in this collection.
Fabio explains his collection. Heidi loved, loved, loved Fabio’s collection. It was fresh and ethereal. Nina said Fabio listened and there’s an easiness to his clothes. Michael said he took those Jordan almond colors and made a different fashion statement that could be interpreted into real life. Jennifer says it was a job well done.
The models leave and Heidi asks each designer why they think they should win project runway. They all have good answers. They leave the runway and the judges have a big decision to make. The judges loved that Christopher was the only one who had a distinct print but he overthought it. He’s talented but still finding himself.
Fabio has an element of surprise. Heidi didn’t see anything she didn’t like. Heidi never thought she would ever wear a layered look in pastel colors, but she wants to now.
Michael thinks each woman judge could rock one of Dmitry’s jackets. They also like that fringe-bottomed dress. He has a signature look and his clothes are commercial. Jennifer feels Dmitry could make it on his own right now and maybe Fabio would need more support but could also make it. It’s going to be between Dmitry and Fabio.
After Christopher and Melissa are dismissed from the runway, Christopher tells Melissa if Fabio doesn’t win, he’s going to be upset. And the winner of Season 10 of Project Runway is . . . Dmitry! Congratulations, Dmitry. Fabio is very gracious about being the runner-up and becomes emotional that he didn’t win for his mother. All of Dmitry’s friends and Tim Gunn come out onstage to congratulate Dmitry. Congratulations to all four designers. Who knows? We may see Christopher, Fabio and/or Melissa on a season of Project Runway all stars.
