Faye’s Blog –

For some reason Bravo has taken down Faye Resnick’s blog.  I guess they had an oopsie.  No worries, I’ll post it here so people can tell Faye what they really think.  Isn’t that why you do on a reality show?  To hear what people think?

Brandi’s Unprovoked Attack Faye plans to defend Adrienne and Kim, and she doesn’t understand why Brandi won’t apologize if she’s so sorry.

RHOBH Dec 17 3After 2 years of working on the design of Kyle and Mauricio’s home, I was very happy they were thrilled with the result and had the home they always dreamed of. I knew Kyle was looking forward to having everyone over for the dinner party since the dining room now complete.

However, a few days before the dinner party, Kyle told me what had transpired with regard to Brandi’s unprovoked attack of Adrienne and Paul at Mauricio’s event. I was shocked and saddened by what I heard.

I’ve known Adrienne and the Maloof family for 25 years. I have always known Adrienne to be a woman of great integrity and with one of the kindest hearts in Beverly Hills. I felt deeply for Adrienne because I knew she would never say anything like that to anyone else or wish it upon anyone else. I called to check on Adrienne and heard the hurt in her voice as she cried on the phone. It broke my heart. Worse though, I knew this did not just affect her and Paul, but would also affect their children.

I knew Brandi was going to be at Kyle’s party, unfortunately, because of what Brandi had said, Adrienne would not be present. I thought it was important for Brandi to understand the severity of what she had said and offer her a solution on how to try to make amends.I don’t know Brandi, but I expected that like any other normal human being, she would recognize that she had stepped over the line and would want to apologize at the very least. . .

Boy was I wrong. By raising the issue at the dinner party I was hoping Brandi would shed some light as to what would drive her to reveal something so intensely personal and private. Brandi’s response was confusing. She first said she was sorry for what she said but didn’t want to apologize — yet.

I didn’t understand? If you are sorry for something you have done and carrying it on your mind, and it’s upsetting you, why not just apologize and move on? If your truly sorry, you apologize and cleanse your aura. But minutes after saying she was sorry she said she wasn’t going to apologize because Adrienne hadn’t apologized to her. Apologize for what?

She then went on to further to attack Adrienne, and when she said that Adrienne had bought a book deal, that thew me over the edge. “Who buys a book deal?” Instead of apologizing to Adrienne she continued to attack her. And as far as her telling everyone at the table that “it’s none of your business”, she should have followed her own advice. What business was it of Brandi to involve herself in the most private and personal business of Adrienne and Paul’s?

It’s very difficult for me to sit back and watch anyone be mean to people that I love. The damage Brandi caused Kim and her family last season was reprehensible. The attacks on Adrienne and Paul was beyond belief. These statements are made with no purpose other than to be hurtful and cruel. And while afterwards she claims to be “sorry” for what she said, the harm has already been done, so saying, “Things just come out my mouth” or “I’m sorry” time and time again this behavior becomes disingenuous.

Ps: I know an orchid is a flower. . .LOL

Real Housewives of Miami Finale Season Two by NoMoreDrama

We’re still in the Bahamas with everyone but Karent who has managed to get a flight home.  It’s stormy, so they are stuck on the island. real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-07Marysol has an idea to cleanse and heal the group by doing a ritual with everyone going down to the ocean, saying something healing, taking a flower and throwing it into the ocean.  Ana thinks it’s a silly idea, and Lea is cracking jokes, but once they get down to the ocean they start to get into it.  For someone who thought it was a dumb idea, Ana really breaks down as she releases the tension over her impending divorce.  Joanna even managed to squeeze a tear out over her pretend relationship troubles with Romain.   They are all pretty reflective, well except for Lea who hasn’t really shared a personal storyline with viewers this year, so had nothing but general well-wishes for peace and happiness ever after.  At least she stopped cracking jokes.  I have to say that this group really gets along well when Karent isn’t there. real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-09real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-13

Back to Miami and we open with a little girl playing piano at a recital.  In rushes Adriana and her son, obviously late and whispering apologies.  They sit down and play a duet while Adriana voices over how important family is.  The music carries over to a scene with Joanna and Romain smooching, and Romain gets down on his knees and apologizes to Joanna in what is set up as a proposal, but since they’ve been engaged for ages, he calls it a re-proposal and gives her a necklace.  She forgives him, and he says thank you for forgiving me.  She says – get this “well this (the necklace) is gorgeous so of course I’ll forgive you.”  Seriously – how superficial.  Romain says they should get married next spring.

More piano music and Fredrik and Adriana tell her son that they are going to get married and he says they need his permission.  I thought they were engaged so I’m confused.  Adriana says they’ll have the marriage next spring (double wedding?) and then move into that boat that we saw at the beginning of the season. real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-16

Now on to the divorce scenes.  Robert comes over to Ana’s house and they look over the paperwork.  They joke a little, but she’s still upset.  They are clearly really comfortable with each other, and bicker a little.  Ana finally picks up a pen and signs the paper after two years of being separated.  It’s pretty clear they are moving on to the next phase of their relationship.  After signing they tell their girls, and Robert is joking still.  One daughter tells him not to belittle the moment, and the other daughter keeps telling Ana to stop crying. real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-18

Juxtapose that with Marysol and Phillippe, who are very awkward with each other.  He needs to stop and take a shot to get through the scene.  It’s actually pretty painful to watch because you can tell he’s not at all into her.  Plus he looks really bad – like bloated, puffy and red-eyed bad and I don’t think he’s been crying.  They agree to divorce.  He says maybe they’ll get married again when he grows up.  He doesn’t mention the green card.  He takes another shot and then they smoke a cigarette. real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-20

Another day and Marysol and Mama Elsa are dressed like twins in leopard print jackets.  We learn that Marysol isn’t wearing a bra.  Why wouldn’t she be wearing a bra?  Marysol explains that she’s filed for divorce, but that she wants to ask Philippe to her office party.  “How are we going to trap him?” Mama Elsa asks.  Marysol explains she doesn’t want to trap him, just invite him to a party.  She traps him into coming to the party by asking him on camera.  Why would she want him at the party?  I really don’t get Marysol.

Lisa’s closure is Daysy’s surgery day.  Lisa is going to watch – I guess so that the cameras are there.  Lisa explains that Daysy begged and pleaded with Lenny to let Lisa be there – which is funny because hasn’t she had all kinds of surgery before?  Of course the camera crew is in there as well – so what’s the big deal about Lisa being in there.  Yuck we watch him suck some fat out and it’s not pretty.  Then they do the surgery, and Lisa doesn’t really want to watch.  I don’t want to watch either so we’re good.  Then is the shot of Daysy drugged up and acting silly.  At least she’s not passing gas.

Lea.  Since she didn’t have a story line her scene is with Lisa and Joanna.  Joanna tells about the fake proposal.  Then it’s Lisa’s turn.  Lea talks to Lisa about her comment that she lost a little bit of her identity when she married Lenny.  Lea decides Lisa needs to identify her “special gift”.  Are those key words for job?  Lisa says she knows a lot about fitness.  Lea also tells how amazing she is (and by she I mean Lea) – she didn’t just marry well. Now they gossip about Karent and her fake boyfriend.  Both Lisa and Joanna know that it’s a  fake relationship now, and Lisa says that Rodolfo just isn’t into Karent.

Great – now we get Karent’s scene.  She’s with her dad and he’s still recovering.  It’s clear her parents really depend on her.  Karent’s mom explains that Rodolfo called her (the mom) three times saying “please tell her it’s just for publicity.”  Wait – so he’s saying he’s willing to have a fake girlfriend for publicity?  real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-22Karent says she’s ignoring his calls and focusing on her dad.  They get emotional and her mom says “you’re the best daughter I have.”  Ouch.  I hope her sisters weren’t watching.

Later Karent has Rodolfo on skype but I really couldn’t care less what he’s saying since they are already broken up and I’m pretty sure the whole scene is fake.

Lisa and Lenny talk about their new house because their current house isn’t good enough for them.  They talk about trying again for a baby.  Lisa has said (on twitter) that she has a big announcement in her blog for us.  Fingers crossed.

Finally Marysol’s party.  Lisa, Marta and Joanna are talking to Karent trying to get her to admit that the relationship is fake.  Thankfully they get distracted when Philippe arrives.  Ana is there with her daughters and they are talking about moving away for the summer to go to New York.  Lea shows up and does a grand entrance thing.  Marysol and Lea both interview that they aren’t really friends any more, but they’ll get along socially. Joanna announces she’ll be getting married in the spring and Marta tries to pretend she likes the idea.  Okay – I just remembered that Joanna has been saying on twitter that they are getting married in 2015. Adriana and Joanna talk about how awful a double wedding would be.   I think it would make a great spin off with them trying to out-do each other. real-housewives-of-miami-season-2-gallery-episode-215-26

And finally the huge feet in high heels.  Stop the train – Elaine is performing at Marysol’s party so I guess they made up.  How strange – did she get paid? So what’s next for them?

  • Lea is writing a tell-all book
  • Marysol isn’t ready to get married again, but Elsa thinks she will remarry
  • Adriana has plans for a spring wedding
  • Ana is learning to cope with being a divorcee
  • Karent broke up with Rodolfo
  • Joanna and Romain have taken a break??  I think they are back together so that’s a little off.
  • Nothing for Alexia.  She sure had a lot of camera time for someone who said they didn’t film much.  Next week the reunion.  I’ll be in Canada without Bravo, so maybe everyone can recap it together in the chat blog.  It’ll be a live recap, just like the live reunion last year.

Project Runway All Stars “Flapper Fashion Face-Off” by BB

Recap of Challenge Winners and Losers:

  • Challenge 1: Anthony Ryan wins, Peach goes home Challenge 2: Uli wins, Wendy goes home
  • Challenge 3: Emilio wins, Suede goes home
  • Challenge 4: Anthony Ryan wins, Andrae goes home Challenge 5: Emilio Wins, Kayne goes home
  • Challenge 6: Laura Kathleen wins, Althea goes home
  • Challenge 7: Uli wins, Casanova goes home

Guest judges are actress Gretchen Mol and designer Jenny Packham. The remaining 6 designers are Emilio, Anthony Ryan, Uli, Laura Kathleen, Josh, and Ivy.

Emilio thinks this elimination challenge will be the game-changer for the remaining six.  Carolyn tells the designers they will be creating a modern look inspired by the 1920’s.  The designers pick an “event” from the pouch.  Uli and Laura Kathleen pick an Evening Social Soiree; Ivy and Anthony Ryan pick an After Hours Speak Easy; and Emilio and Josh pick an Afternoon Garden Party.  This will be a fashion face-off.  There will be a winner and loser from each pair and the overall winner will be chosen from the top three and overall loser chosen from the bottom three.  They each get $250 to shop at mood.

Anthony Ryan

Anthony Ryan

Emilio is leaning towards the latter 20’s and doesn’t want to make the boxy style dress of the early 20’s.   Laura Kathleen takes a dig at Uli by saying she won’t be using feathers for her look.  Ivy is getting an incredibly expensive fabric for her design so if it doesn’t work out, she’s in trouble.  Ivy seems paranoid that Anthony Ryan is working too close to her, but Anthony Ryan says he would never make anything close to what Ivy would make. Laura Kathleen doesn’t think you can go to an evening soiree without a fur.

Laura Kathleen

Laura Kathleen

Anthony Ryan thinks Laura Kathleen and Uli make for a good competition against each other.

Joshua says he’s never been to a garden party, only roof-top and fire escape parties.  Uli thinks Ivy is cutting her expensive fabric into too many pieces and may have trouble putting it all back together.  Even though it’s a face-off, each designer seems competitive, but at the same time has respect for the designer they are competing against.

Joanna is concerned Josh’s design may be too marsupial.  She mentions to Josh that neither he nor Ivy have won a challenge and were both in the bottom last week.  Joanna thinks Emilio’s print could be on his grandma’s sofa.

Joanna loves Laura Kathleen’s pants and thinks her model will look fashion forward for the 20’s.  Uli’s design looks similar to something she’s done before and Joanna is a little worried.  However, Uli is afraid the judges will not like it if she doesn’t make an all-out 20’s look even if it’s similar to some of her other designs.

Joanna thinks Anthony Ryan’s looks extraordinary and thinks Ivy’s fabric looks Roxy Hart from Chicago.  She asks Anthony Ryan what he would give Ivy’s look.  He says a strong 7/8.  Ivy only gives Anthony Ryan’s look a 5.  This shows her insecurity I think.

The models show up and Uli realizes she needs to line her see through dress.  Uli likes Laura Kathleen’s design.  Josh wants to use a broach on his dress, but Anthony Ryan tells him it looks Scottish where he places it.  Ivy’s design is all in pieces.  Emilio still has a lot of work left after the models leave.  So does everyone else it seems.

On runway day, the designers only have two hours to finish.  Laura Kathleen thinks Uli designs more like a stylist than a designer.  Ivy loves her finished look.  Anthony Ryan thinks Ivy’s model looks like she’s going to Bingo night and just got dressed up.  Ivy thinks Anthony Ryan’s looks like curtains for the 1920s and not a dress for the 1920s.  Emilio doesn’t think he has to worry this time and Josh thinks Emilio has made a costume again.

Joshua

Joshua

OK, here we go down the runway.  Josh has a draped pinkish/purplish and grey short dress.  I kind of like it.  Emilio’s dress is very feminine but not really a 20’s look to me.  Uli’s dress is silver and has a fringed skirt.  It has a lot going on.  Laura’s maroon colored beaded pant suit is really pretty, but I’m not liking that fur vest.  And later when her model is standing beside her, the pants don’t fit well.  I’m not sure what I think about Ivy’s dress.  Anthony Ryan’s dress is full fringe with a feather shoulder caplet feature.

Joshua and Emilio are first.  The judges love Josh’s dress, but think it may be safe.  Isaac likes the back of it and thinks it looks expensive and commercial.  Carolyn loves the detailing in the back of Emilio’s dress.  Gretchen thinks it looks ladylike.  Jenny thinks Emilio’s dress may be a little more dated than she likes.  The judges think they both have two of the better looks of all the designs.

PR Ep 8 2Isaac loves Uli’s dress but criticizes the white fringe.  Gretchen likes the thickness of the shoulder of the dress.  Georgina doesn’t like the shawl, but Jenny does like it.  Isaac thinks the top of Laura Kathleen’s design looks brilliant without the fur vest.  Carolyn things the top is beautiful but not the pants.  Georgina thinks the model looks too big in the hips and the crotch is doing a shadowy thing.

Carolyn

Carolyn

Carolyn thinks Ivy’s dress may be too literal and a little Prada.  Isaac thinks it looks too heavy.  Gretchen says the dress has grown on her and it looks like you would wear it to an art opening.  Jenny loves Anthony Ryan’s dress and Gretchen thinks it looks young and fun.  Isaac doesn’t like the feather caplet, but then changes his mind when the model takes it off and puts it back on.  Georgina tells him good job.

Emilio wins the afternoon garden party, Uli wins the evening soiree, and Anthony Ryan wins the after-hours speak easy.  All of the designers leave the runway so the judges can discuss and make their decision.

Of the winners, Emilio is eliminated right away.  Uli’s dress is more complex to the judges.  They think Anthony’s is more modern, exciting and fresher.  So it will be either Uli or Anthony Ryan for the win.  All three have won two design challenges each.

Of the low scorers, they don’t think Josh did that bad of a job.  It will be between Ivy and Laura Kathleen.  Laura Kathleen’s pants were a real miss.  Georgia likes the essence of Laura’s outfit.  Isaac loves the top without the fur vest.  Carolyn thinks they keep seeing the same thing from Laura Kathleen.   The judges think Ivy treated that expensive fabric badly and it was poorly made.  Carolyn sees Ivy’s intention and it makes her dress more interesting than Laura Kathleen’s.

All of the designers come back out on stage and nobody is waiting backstage.  Emilio is safe and is out of the running for the winner of the challenge.  Anthony Ryan wins the challenge.  Uli is safe.  When the three of them get to the back room, they mention that Ivy’s in the bottom for the third time in a row.  Joshua is safe and can join the others.  That leaves Ivy and Laura Kathleen.  Carolyn thinks Ivy needs to get back on track if she stays.  She tells Laura Kathleen if she stays, she’ll have to show some versatility.  Laura Kathleen is out.  Ivy is safe.  I’m a little surprised Ivy didn’t go this time.  I think the others are a little surprised also, but nobody really says anything.

  1. Powell says:

Good morning everyone. Iowagirl I’m sorry your baby is stuck in Atlanta. I hope the weather doesn’t cause more delays & you get her home. How is the weather where you are, it wasn’t looking good on the news? Fingers crossed.

Why does it take more than an hr for you to see your doc? I hate this. :/

Well It’s 4 more days til Christmas. Have 4 shots on me. I’m gonna have you all so drunk you’ll miss Christmas. :-). Have a great day.

    • Iowagirl says:

The kittens are in the air right now and should land in 45 minutes! Next issue is what kind of shots should I do, haven’t done them in 25 years but it sounds like a good idea today.

  2. Sus says:

    Sus’ Christmas List
Bravo thinking about bring the morally corrupt Faye Resnick to the RHOBH.
Viewers who remember Faye as Nicole Brown Simpson’s disgusting friend and blew up Faye’s blog with comments telling Bravo that it would be a HUGE mistake in hiring her so they tell her no thanks.

They should keep her as the unpaid friend.

Faye Resnick is the on the same level as Linda Tripp. Both are extraordinarily bad friends.

I forgot all about Faye being Kato2 as far as being the house guest that wouldn’t leave.

    • Powell says:

Good comparison to Linda Tripp sus. I wonder what she’s doing these days since she had plastic surgery & a new hairstyle thinking she would have more than 15 minutes.

    • Formerly Addicted to Bravo says:

I think that they get caught up in knowing someone personally. Same thing in the fashion magazine circles – they focus on a model that the general world does not think is beautiful or healthy looking and use them as their feature all the time. Perhaps Patti is nicer in person than she comes across??? Or an a#% kisser or something…

      • Formerly Addicted to Bravo says:

ooops meant to post below under Rebecca’s post… darn mouse jumps around on this laptop

  3. Rebecca says:

Here’s to hoping the Bravo viewers will react just as voraciously to MM as they did to Faye’s blog. I can’t for the life of me understand why Bravo doesn’t see our disgust with Patti Stanger. The only people who watch that show are the bloggers and show writers who make fun of her. I prefer watching Joel McHale’s reaction to her rather than waste a minute watching the show.

    • I would think Bravo is loving the attention Faye is getting. Between Faye and Adrienne’s secret, ratings are probably increasing.
MM is just a tired, old show with the same old same old fake storyline. People don’t care enough about Patti to tune in and see what horrid things come out of her mouth because at the end of the day she and her show are boring. I really thought she’d be dropped both because of ratings and also because there is no way Andy Cohen can possibly stomach her. I’m shocked her show is back.

      • I’m with you NMD……I am shocked they brought her show back. The ratings were awful the last season and it has been awhile since she was on. In the meantime, people have been very vocal about their distaste for her. So, that’s up with Bravo? They just keep making these inane decisions. They are shooting themselves in the proverbial behind!

        • MM=EWWWWWW
I’m with you on questioning Bravo’s decision to bring her back. Project Soulmate was so much more interesting and FUN to watch. But Bravo stupidly dropped their show. I hope another network scoops them up so that Bravo realizes what they missed.

          • Powell says:

Diana I don’t know what Bravo is doing. Maybe she has somethibg on them. Maybe she her lawyers negotiated a good contract that no other matchmaker could be on for a certain period of time, that they had to keep her.

      • Powell says:

I don’t like Patti & NMD you are so right that MM is the same old thing. If she’s such as expert how come we haven’t heard that any of her matches got married & are having kids? I noticed 2 things though. Patti’s lost more weight and it looks like she gets a fake engagement this season.

        • LaineyLainey says:

yep, so fake. You know what’s weird, though? The guy they’ve been showing looks like her!! Put a wig on him. It’s Patty, Jr.

      • Formerly Addicted to Bravo says:

agree – not watching her and frankly not watching Kathy Griffin either. I used to like her but she has gone beyond being ocassionally shocking in a funny way to so crude it’s impossibel to watch. Can’t believe they have given her another platform and that people can hang in to watch for more than a few minutes. Btw I am not a puritan…:)

  4. Vegas Chick says:

Nice find on the old article, NMD. Camille was kind in calling her morally corrupt.
I wonder if Brandi has seen it – going to send her a Tweet to make sure that she does… 🙂

  5. T-Rex says:

NMD thanks for the FayeKR recap of the disgusting low life she is. I have to laugh at the comment she made that she has known Adrienne for 25 years. Really? So you knew her before she got married and would have been at the same time FayeKR was a full on drug addict and social climbing her way through LA. Was the HoofMaloof then also maybe into the drug scene then, things that make you go Hmmm? Then FayekR goes on to confirm what I had posted previously that she was CLEARLY there to setup Brandi and that she had been informed by VileKyleMeanGirl on the issues, was TOLD TO BRING IT otherwise why would she even be involved with someone she doesn’t even know! I could see where Brandi would be like STFU who the heck are you, I don’t know you, you don’t know me, but you are all up in my bidness you need to step off loser! Certainly from her blog we can clearly see that FaYeKR was doing what she thought was finally her “audtition” to get on the show. While Bravo is Loving this, even they realize what a HUGE liability FayeKR is. That article is just SOME of the crap FayeKR has done out in LA, I know at the time that article came out, there was even WAY more lurid facts on her and her digusting background.

    • mrspeabody says:

Makes you really wonder what type of people Kyle and her husband hang out with in real life. What was it Caroline said about when you hang with trash you start to smell like trash or something along those lines.

  6. amalfi says:

Interesting and unsurprising article on the morally corrupt Faye Reznick.

Faye is what trash throws out.

  7. mrspeabody says:

Looks like VileKyle gave MCFR the wrong info about the party if she told her Brandi started the trouble at Maury’s event, if I remember right it was Paul and Adrienne who started the fight. Sounds like VK is blaming Brandi for what happened. Her comments might have been at the root of the problem but starting it at the party, I don’t think so.

    • T-Rex says:

Technically Kim started the trouble, she was the one that told the HoofMaloof what Brandi had told them. Kim did this on purpose at VileKyle’s and Murrays event, paybacks are a biotch. Then HoofMaloof and Husband were the ones who confronted Brandi, not the other way around. They came at her full force attacking her and she went on the defensive, a little over the top, but hey they knew that when they went after her. Now, as I am thinking this over Murray has a problem with someone who uses the F-bomb about as much as his own wife VileKyle does but has an issue with that. But doesn’t have an issue with FayeKR who has a huge drug trafficking(allegedly) for sure was a drug addict, who uses people for money as this is now her form of income. Wow, we know which way his moral compass swings, maybe those rumors of his extra-marital shenanigans aren’t hogwash, things that make you go hmmmm

      • mrspeabody says:

I’m beginning to wonder about both his and Kyle’s moral compass too. Maybe the apple didn’t fall far from big Kathy’s tree.

  8. Vegas Chick says:

While I was letting Brandi know about the article NMD posted, I ran across this gem… Here’s a link to a copy/paste of Bernie’s latest FB rant (yikes! he’s a Kookadoo!).

    http://absurdtosublime.net/chef-bernies-fb-rant-about-brandi-glanville/

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Bernie should have been fired a long, long time ago – this speaks volumes about his employer.

    • mrspeabody says:

I’ve heard about his rants on here but have never read one. That man is crazy. What man does that and who would have someone like that working for them in their business let alone their home where their children are at. Unbelieveable.

    • T-Rex says:

Whoa, and Whoa and what the frig is that man on? The HoofMaloof keeping this man on her payroll clearly sets the example that she “condones” this behaviour and his antics and stands behind what he is writing out in the public, shame on HER! He does this because he knows that Brandi could not afford to sue him regarding what he is writing, and let me tell you if ANYONE was writing that kind of BS about the HoofMaloof there would be an army of lawyers STAT at the courthouse with cyst and deceased orders telling whomever wrote them to STFU. So when we really have the denouement(fake or otherwise) of the Hoofmaloof’s secret, I don’t think it will be any more hateful or harmful than what that evil chef is writing.

      • Powell says:

T-Rex Adrienne and Bernie are both so stupid. He’s a liability to her personally/professionally and she can fire him at any moment then who’s going to hire him in the land of famous people. People in their circle know what Bernie is about. He’s not to be trusted. They think they are helping one another when it’s just the opposite.

    • sparklemuffy says:

I think we should all strive to have more couth. If you don’t have couth does that make you uncouth?

    • VV says:

Bernie and his crazy rants go back to more than a year now. Interesting is that as far back Fall 2011, he was badmouthing Lisa but being kind to Brandi. It was when the reunion for S2 happened that he started the hate on Brandi. Why? because Brandi spoke the truth. During the reunion for S2, we viewers did not quite understand why ALL the ladies were being rude and cold to Lisa. When Brandi came for her segment she revealed what that the classless idiotic Charo and her willing participants Kyle, Taylor and (possibly)Camille were planning on taking Lisa down. It backfire. Charo, Kyle, Taylor can deny the they were planing to do that all they want but “actions speak louder than words” and we all saw they were doing just that even way before Brandi came out to talk.

      • T-Rex says:

Bernie would not DARE to speak out against LisaVPump again, he just feeds the gossip rags dirt on her when he could. I have a feeling one of the reasons Lisa and Ken moved was to get as far away from the HoofMaloofs and their skanky staff. Bernie is a dumbass, when the HoofMaloof finally gets rid of him, where is he going to find a job in Beverly Hills?? No one with real class would hire someone who puts crap like this on the internet. I don’t care how good of a cook he is, and apparently not that great, if I were rich, I would never hire a “loaded mouth” like him, you don’t know what he would say. He is certainly not discreet and would air anyone’s dirty laundry if they crossed him.

  9. TexasTart says:

    Good Morning all!

I missed RHOM because I was at a party last night, and I’m so bummed that was the last of this season. I’m probably a minority here, but I totally enjoyed that group of women. No, I didn’t like them all but when have I ever liked every individual in a housewives franchise….um, never?!

So without seeing the last episode and I’m trying to hold off reading the recap. And I thank you for it NMD – I would say that they did so much better in Miami. They showed us an upscale fun and sexy group, loved the Latin flavor. And most of all this one did not getting completely engrossed with one person’s misguided statements or actions. I will actually go out on a ledge, please don’t push, but I think a very good job to production for showing these ladies good, bad and their vunerability. I thought it was best balanced HW since some NY seasons, and I won’t get into comparisons. I can’t wait to watch it and see how they finished out season 2!

    • Kat from Ohio says:

i enjoyed it as well! could have done without joanna though. but i think lisa is one of my all-time favorite new housewives of all the franchises.

      • Artistang says:

Did it not seem wierd to you that when Joanna spoke of the reengagement, she did not mention the beautiful diamond necklace and she wasn’t wearing it? I’m sorry if I recieved that necklace I would wear it everyday for a week!! Also what is up with Roman’s eyes? he keeps popping them open like he is on some kinda drugs..my brother acts like that and he is a meth head…just saying..he looks like he needs a shower as well….Also Phillip too..disgusting…those euro guys just don’t bathe everyday I guess?

        • VV says:

I don’t watch RHOM I catch part here and there. If Phillipe still married to Marysol is because he has to be married a certain number of years before divorcing her otherwise he’ll lose his green card. Lea was right.

        • designernailsdiana says:

I’m glad I’m not the only one who wondered about Romain’s eyes looking so weird. Made me wonder if he was lying or something shady.
          Phillipe YUCKY!!!!

    • Ruby12 says:

I agree Texas Tart! I think their collective ability to move on after drama makes the show much more pleasant than some other shows, where every perceived slight or misunderstanding is dragged to being a storyline for the whole season.

      • Called A Princess... says:

Unless the law has changed, it is three years until the marriage can be ended. Why would Marysol do something that illegal, on camera. Not very smart, if true. I C E is not nice and neither is criminal lover, Lea Black.. IMO.

    • Powell says:

TexasTart I liked Miami too. It was do much better. I don’t think they’re in danger of being cancelled this time.

    • LaineyLainey says:

I loved the Miami show. I hope they come back.

  10. TexasTart says:

Aww, too bad I didn’t read the comments to rip apart Faye before they disappeared, interesting how only hers disappeared? (insert evil laughter) So did someone call legal on that, or what?! Well, who cares if it has to do with Faye, I have thus far avoided mention of her!

My favorite thing about this is Boston’s caption with the cat!

  11. plainviewsue says:

Boston, as always, your picture captions were hysterical!!

A book by Melissa. Maybe the world is ending!!!

What this tells me is that season 5 of RHONJ will not be the season that Melissa & Caroline’s skeletons will come out. They will continue to get the favorable edit from Bravo, esp Melissa.

Bravo gets a percentage of the book sales. So how can they show Melissa & Tarzan in a poor way?

Teresa tweeted good wishes to Melissa, as she did with Kathy. Unlike Kathy who did tweet back how much that meant to her, Melissa never tweeted back. She did a general tweet thanking friends and family.

I wish that Teresa did not send that tweet. You all know I am on Teresa’s side, but after what went down at the reunion and at the Posh fashion show, Melissa did not deserve a congrats tweet from Teresa. Yes, Teresa looks like the better person, but it is way too hypocritical. Melissa went after Tre’s children; went after her as she sat at the reunion fluffing her hair. She wanted this break in the family, so Joey would be a Marco, not a Gorga.

So Bravo actually has principals, taking down that vile Faye Resnick’s blog!!! She was pummelled. I wonder how Kyle feels about that. I saw a preview for the upcoming episode & Brandi is crying outside. Kyle as always tries to get her to come back inside, but good for Brandi for knowing that wouldnt be a good idea. And then Faye defends her words to Lisa??? Ugh, this woman is the lowest of the low.

  12. mrspeabody says:

now MCFR’s pic is gone from the lineup of cast blogs. Guess they removed her all the way around.

  13. Good Morning! Hope all are well today!

Thanks NMD for the blog and the scoop. I remember well all the shenanigans of that time.I worked for an attorney then and we had the OJ trial on TV in the office when they gave the verdict. My attorney was stunned and speechless. Faye was, and still is IMHO, an awful person who takes advantage of others and has drug issues. And, that’s a nice way of saying it! That fence I was on about Kyle? Well, I fall off it last week! LOL! She and Mauricio can’t be good people if they embrace Faye as a close friend. Nope.

I continue to be surprised (I don’t know why) how low Bravo goes with their choices for participants in these shows. Do they not get yet that we DO have standards out here and will not embrace a mess like this? Grrrr. I honestly think they have gotten out of hand around their idea table and are shooting themselves in the *ss. I have mostly stopped watching anything on Bravo and come hear to read the blogs. I have seen many others say the same thing. It can’t be long before it starts to show in their revenue. I hope, at least!!

Anyway…..hope you all have a great Friday! Holiday almost upon us. I joined Powell and company in shots last night. Brandy. Got warm and cozy and slept well. Finally!

No new blog post yet. It will be up later or tomorrow morning. But if you haven’t read yesterday’s yet, it is a good reminder how strong you are! Hugs!

  14. PJ says:

Revisionist history is so interesting. According to Faye Brandi attacked P & A at Morris’ event, and she claims this after the show had already aired as if viewers are going to buy Faye’s version of events because she says that’s what happened. OK.

It really cracks me up the way Faye keeps talking about her step daughters and then that article posted here showing what those step daughters thought of Faye. Not to mention that she has not been their step mother for a couple of decades.

    • T-Rex says:

Yep let’s get it straight for FayeKr it was KIM who started this, she clearly wanted to do some payback to her sister VileKyle. Even when they showed that clip where Murray suggested that Brandi started the fight, I believe someone who witnessed the fight clearly told Murray that the HoofMaloof entourage came AT Brandi full force, Brandi didn’t even know until that moment that the HoofMaloof had heard what she had told the girls. Look I am not buying that the HoofMaloof and Brandi didn’t know each other very well before the show, I think they did know each other for quite some time, look you don’t tell some random stranger your darkest secrets, and the HoofMaloof KNEW Brandi knew of her secret. Now, after hearing FaykR explain that she has known the HoofMaloof throughout most of FaykeR’s drug addled years, that Paul was who Charlie Sheen called when he had a meltdown, Brandi admitted to some past abuse, is anyone else seeing a pattern here????? Regarding Faykr “ex’s” at the time the book and article were out, her ex’s and the folks she cheated out of money were talking to everyone and anyone about this loser in the press. Also, not sure you should use the term “mother” when you were married to the man for less than 4 years and probably hardly had any interaction with his children hence the words “strained” relationship.

      • PJ says:

Just wondering, if Brandi had a gazillion dollars who Faye would have said started the fight?

        • T-Rex says:

Probably FayeKR has “street smarts” she is also a Con, which is probably why ShannaTaylorNotFordLyingGrifterLypsMcgee wasn’t saying anything maybe she was taking notes for her next Con job, that or she was so loaded on booze she couldn’t function, but FayKr is good at the con, she done it to a lot of folks. I believe that VileKyle set this whole shebang up, told the HoofMaloof NOT to be there, because folks at this point in the season if Bravo wanted her there she would have been there. Filled FayKr in with VileKyle’s version of events, VileKyle knows that if FayeKR still had a soul(she sold it long ago) she would sell it to get a spot on Bravo and told her to GO FOR IT. What happened was well, backlash city is what happened, enough to get them to take down the blog and pics, my guess is we may have a filler week somewhere in the season to edit out any further appearances of the FayeKR.

      • Austin says:

It could just as easily be argued that Brandi started it at Sur (although I am loathe to defend Kim). Yes, Kyle asked her what the problem was between her and Adrienne, but she didn’t ask for the sort of specifics that Brandi spewed out. It seemed like she went on and on, listing a laundry list of all of her Adrienne-related grievances, and then spewed whatever the secret was at the end.

        • Called A Princess... says:

Yes Brandi did start it but since we do not like Faye or her tabloid past we will tried to find ways of extricating Brandi from the consequences of her actions. Brandi may have been bad but Faye has a history of being much worst. People seem to forget that all in Hollywood does not glitter, at all times. The OJ story was full of drug users and fame whores that seem to be mostly proud of it. I think that the fact that Faye was women in the story made her easy prey to the media hood rats that wanted to sell scandal. I hated the whole OJ story. A person like him did not deserve so much of our collective energy. Our good and bad will, garnered from tabloid escapades and a demented prosecution case. Faye was just part of that recipe for disaster that this case turned into once the bodies were found. I think that it is no surprise that Andy and crew found Faye. To me, she fits in well as a reminder of how fake and superficial this group of women, and Andy, can truly be, SOMETIMES. JMHO.

          • T-Rex says:

To me Brandi shouldn’t get a PASS for what she said, she shouldn’t have said anything. The Point being that FayKER is not the person that should be in any way, shape or form the one to come down on her for what happened, pure and simple. VileKyle set this up to try and garner FayKer a position as a HW, the dinner scene was just weird, why was FayKR even involved which was how Brandi was taking that discussion. Again, Brandi does need to own what she did but FayKER isn’t the one who should be telling her what to do.

I thought I’d spread some Christmas joy. JZ’s newsletter:

    Dear Friends and Family,
I started to write this “end of year” newsletter a few weeks ago. While putting it together, the most horrific tragedy happened. Before I share my reflections of 2012 and hopes for 2013, I can’t stop thinking about the children and teachers who won’t be here. For reasons we will never understand, a man walked into an elementary school last Friday and took away the future of little children, their school teachers, as well as his own life in the unspeakable tragedy we now call “Sandy Hook”. I can’t possibly imagine what the parents, family and friends are going through and how they can ever move on. I have sent out prayers in their memories and would like to quote the remarks from my Rabbi:

Memory endures and scars remain. Yet we will continue to honor the memory of those who were brutally murdered by making this world better and our nation safer. We should not remain on the sidelines of a renewed and urgent conversation about sensible gun legislation.

Our responsibility is great and the memory of the victims of Newtown drives us to prevent further murder on the campuses and in the schools, houses of worship and public places of this country.

For the next four weeks we will read the names of the children and adults killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School during Kaddish, remembering each of them as our own.

Zichronam livracha, may their memories be for blessing.
    Rabbi Peter Rubinstein, Central Synagogue

As we celebrate the Holidays and end 2012…it is a time to reflect. A time to sit quietly and think about what we have accomplished and how we can improve ourselves professionally and personally. I am inspired by specific people I have met this year, like Anthony Robbins and Deepak Chopra, who spoke at an Oprah Life Lessons event at Radio City Music Hall. I had never focused so deeply on the message these very inspiring human beings offered. It has opened me up to realizing how much I don’t know and how much I still have left to learn. Saying this reminds of specific movies that have changed my life forever by inserting thoughts into my head of things that might be possible. My favorite movie is, Defending Your Life, starring Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep. If you haven’t seen it…rent it over the holidays. You will LOVE it!

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you already know what I’ve done this year so I won’t bore you with the annual “recap” I sometimes mail family and friends. I love getting them from old friends who we don’t see often enough and I feel all caught up after reading them. You know who you are…so “GINA” and “RAELIN” I am expecting yours soon!

I will give you an abbreviated version of where we ended 2012.

Ally is a junior at Vanderbilt and in a sorority that she loves. She has five roommates (sisters) and is happier than I have ever seen her. (and more beautiful everyday inside and out) She is an A student and I couldn’t be more proud. I feel I can honestly write a book or teach a class on how to prepare your child to be the BEST they can be. I say that because not every child (in fact it is probably .0000001%) will get into Harvard…so don’t set your child or yourself up for failure.

    (more ugly pics)

Gloria and Sol (Mommy and Daddy…yes…I still call them that) live in Boca Raton, Florida, play cards (Mom is an OUTSTANDING Bridge player) and Dad plays Bridge and Poker. Mom still gets up at 5AM to go to Publix before the “crowds” Don’t ask…Mommy is a reality show herself. If you are a Bridge player or know one in the area…please let me know!

Bobby’s Children…we keep their personal information as private as possible but sometimes I can’t stop myself from posting an adorable photo of my little Lila. She is a natural red head (just like me! Wink wink!) and Micah (age 5) knows more about my IPAD than I do! We just came back from taking them to Disney World for the first time and had the best time.

Lisa Wexler (sister) is on the radio M-F 4-6PM talking about everything you should be discussing at the dinner table. Catch her online at lisawexler. You can download her podcast, listen live on your iphone using http://www.iheart/. Download the app to your iphone, computer and ipad. Then you can open it and listen to Lisa’s show everywhere. Put on your bluetooth in the car and listen through the car radio. Yes…even if you live in Texas or Chicago…you can listen to her show live and call in. Very cool right?

Lisa’s adult son Jonathan, is working selling insurance and annuities at one of the largest insurance companies in the world. His one year anniversary is coming up and we couldn’t be prouder. Did I mention he lives with us too? He is currently taking care of Ginger while we are away for the holidays.

If you follow me on Twitter and are trying to figure out how I shot an infomercial for OMEGA DOG with Ginger this week in Florida while Jonathan is taking care of her, you are correct. Sarah flew back to NYC with Ginger tonight and is doing the “dogoff”. (Handing over the dog to Jonathan!)

I promised I wouldn’t go on and on in this newsletter but some of you love the little details while others don’t.
My biggest lesson learned in 2012 going into 2013 is: ” You can please some of the people some of the time…but you CAN’T please all the people all the time!” Wise words.

Jill Zarin Fast Fact: Both of my parents are born on the 13th. Dad is a Gemini June 13th and mom is a Libra October 13th. We have decided that 2013 will be the BEST year ever for our family.

    Hanukkah Traditions

Every community has its unique Hanukkah traditions, but there are some traditions that are almost universally practiced. They are: lighting the hanukkiyah, spinning the dreidel and eating fried foods.

Lighting the hanukkiyah: Every year it is customary to commemorate the miracle of the Hanukkah oil by lighting candles on a hanukkiyah. The hanukkiyah is lit every night for eight nights.
Spinning the dreidel: A popular Hanukkah game is spinning the dreidel, which is a four-sided top with Hebrew letters written on each side. Read The Hanukkah Dreidel to learn more about the dreidel, the meaning of the letters and how to play the game. Gelt, which are chocolate coins covered with tin foil, are part of this game.
Eating fried foods: Because Hanukkah celebrates the miracle of oil, it is traditional to eat fried foods such as latkes.

Her recipe for pototo latkes here and yes she added an e to Pototo

    Potatoe Latke Recipe
(I didn’t copy and past the recipe. I figure nobody wants it)

She goes on to write how people in England, India, Poland & China celebrate Christmas. Blah blah, blah.

Follow me on Facebook, twitter and Pinetrest.

Pic of poor little Ginger here.

****I feel as thou I should say I’m sorry to all of you. LOL. She doesn’t have much going on in her life to write about, you can go nap now.

Some notes, she didn’t mention the SquisMeLows or her Joolery line, but just that nasty book, poor Bawby still has a cellar full of them, ugh. Interesting that Bawby’s favorite show is about a guy that has tons of sex with random women and prostitutes and doesn’t have a nagging wife, must be his dream! Oh and it’s funny that she has “met” Tony Robbins and Deepak Chopra so have hundreds of folks that have attended their seminars that you pay to go to. Who really thinks that RS offered his TM trainer, more like KKBJellyBeans said hey you know Russell does TM maybe I can find out who is meditation Guru is and you can go to one of his classes! OMG so her new plan is filming Infomercials, they probably only wanted Ginger but got stuck with BigRed too, big career move there, EPIC.FAIL
Oh and Publix doesn’t open until 7:00am, anywhere in the state, maybe TheLunatic is thinking Wal-Mart. Unless it takes 2 hours to get ready to go 10 minutes down the road, you can’t swing a dead cat down here and not hit a Publix, they are almost every 2 miles

Yeah Russell Simmons has.given her the time of day. #3.How many times does she repeat herself. You’d think she have it down to a science by now writing these boring newsletters. #4 Bragging that she’s traveling here and there like people really care.

  18. AZGirl says:

Thanks so much for posting Faye’s blog. The article sure did bring back memories of Faye the grifter of Beverly Hills. Everyone did heavy drugs during the 80’s and 90’s in BH. As we can see from the time lines of Faye and Linda Thompson they all slept with each other husbands.

Why in the hell would Kyle, Mauricio or Adrienne and Paul have anything to do with this woman? She is a low life who made a profit off of the death of her friend. I remember being so appalled by the book when it came out.

If it was not for Bravo we would not ever have known what happened to these “D” listers.

    • PJ says:

Because Mo and Kyle have class, Mo says so.

      • Called A Princess... says:

People change. Faye seems to work as part of that group of women or they would have nothing to do with her and she would have moved out of the scene. She is jaded, but so are most of them. You can not tell me that Kyle and Kim did not party hard during the 80’s. How else would she have become friends with the Richards sisters, singing in the church choir? JMHO.

        • T-Rex says:

See I think the only thing FayEKR changed was that she doesn’t do hard drugs any longer, I still think she is a con and a grifter except now she is peddling designing. Just by her actions to get on this show, she is still the scumsucking famewhore she has been for years. Oh, and I think that the Richards and Hiltons partied pretty hearty back in the bad ole days of the 80’s and 90’s no Doubt.

          • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Im curious where you got “grifter” from? Because she questioned Brandi at a dinner party? Every “friend” of a HW wants to be a HW. Dont forget Brandi used to be a “friend”…maybe she called Kim a meth addict as part of her audition for full time HW?
Faye didnt not invent the HW audition-its been going on forever-and this isn’t Faye first audition-but I dont remember everyone being so outraged when she was on season 1.
I dont like Faye and I dont care about Faye but not b/c of the Brandi thing-she didn’t do anything to Brandi but ask her some questions.

            • T-Rex says:

Fayekr was grifter from WAY back, read the article and google some info from the 80’s and 90’s on her, and I was absolutely someone who was appalled Bravo had her on the show with that FakeMedium it’s just that my outrage got lost in the whole Medium-gate. See to me it seemed like she was grilling Brandi, but that’s my opinion.

              • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

I have read plenty about Faye which is why I said I didn’t like or care about her. I know she was in rehab and had a serious drug problem but the grifter part I don’t understand. She is a opportunist as are all HWs and HWs wannabes.
I did not mean to imply that you specifically were not outraged by Faye during season 1 b/c I don’t recall every reaction from all posters but I know that the backlash was not anywhere near what it is now.
She was grilling Brandi-she asked her a question-‘What did Adrienne do to you”…Brandi couldn’t or wouldn’t answer so she kept asking. I get that it was not her business but I sure wanted to hear the answer and it aint my business either.

            • melthehound says:

she didn’t do anything to Brandi but ask her some questions.
              ^^^^^^^^^^^^

That were really none of her business to ask. It’s obvious (too me, anyway) that she was there for more than a reveal of a mediocre (at best) redecorating job on that dining room. It looked faux Italian pizza joint/restaurant to me.

              • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Of course it was none of her business to ask-that goes without say. But let me ask you this-what if Brandi had a friend there and her friend started talking about whatever Adrienne has done to Brandi-would we all say she needs to STFU or would we be cheering her on?

                • contessa says:

Brandi had two friends there, the new woman Marissa (I think) and Lisa, who were both appalled at fr tirade. This was not a discussion about being friends or gently asking what happened…this was a full out interrogation about something between two women and was not fr business whatsoever. She was not at Sur, she was not at Morrie’s party, everything she got was third hand from vile kyle or she claims ad. It is not acceptable dinner party behavior and she was out to hang Brandi and get herself a full time spot on BH. I don’t condone blasting someone’s secrets and if this is the real case, than Brandi was wrong and she will work through it and pay the consequences of her actions through Ad’s lawyers. But to have an ex-addict, who road the coat tails of her gf
Nicole Simpson’s murder for money is not a person who is trying to teach brandi what is right/wrong – let’s call in a true Mother Teresa person for that lesson. Marissa clearly said at the table it was the business of Brandi/Ad and a couple of other things, but Faye shut her down, as did vilekyle to Lisa. Lisa will get her comments on the next show and she does it with dignity and grace. Lisa and Marissa have a much more pleasant background in lalaland than FR could ever hope for. FR is a grifter who lived off of friends, when her wealthy ex-husband and children had enough of her machinations. Some of these people hold Brandi to a higher standard as she is not wealthy, does not have a husband, and speaks the truth. However before they cast stones at her they should look into the background of the succubus that is Faye Resnick, who wrote about having an affair with Nicole and reaped her few dollars on the horrible murder of her friend Nicole Simpson. Also all these Nicole gf supposedly knew that OJ beat her, but they said/did nothing as they all lived the high life from his money through Nicole and in this I include her mother/sisters who kept telling her to go back to OJ (he was supporting Nicoles entire family). This was from Nicole’s own words.

There is a reason that Marissa, Yolonda,Lisa and Dr. Paul all have a relationship with Brandi, and not with vilekyle, lips mcgee, and kim. Ad is on the outside fringes of Beverly Hills and will never be a true insider/shaker/mover. Perhaps she had that in Las Vegas at the Palms, before her brothers lost everything through poor management and reduced the family interest to something like 3%. Remember Ad started this entire debacle by wanting Brandi (with lips and vilekyle) to attack Lisa at the reunion. We see how that all worked out and to this day Ad doesn’t see that she was absolutely wrong in her accusations of Lisa. She should look much closer to home and extricate herself from her vile boyfriend – the cook.

                • melthehound says:

I can only speak for myself but I would feel the same way about it. Especially if the ‘friend’ wasn’t involved to begin with. To me, that’s a bitch move sucker punch when two other people are fighting.

Remember who it was who involved Faye to begin with… Kyle. When you boil every single one of these spats down to the smallest common denominator, what do we always find? Kyle. You know, the ‘classy’ one.

            • PJ says:

Jill this comes from her past and a lot of people that followed the OJ trial felt that way about FR and still do. Did you read the article at the beginning of the bog, that says a lot about why people feel the way they do? In my opinion F wasn’t questioning Brandi she was grilling her and bulling her and it didn’t come from a good place like she needed to protect a friend, it came from a place of desperately wanting to be on this show. Brandi saw that and I think that’s the reason Brandi said to FR ‘ you are doing this for attention’. Do I want to know what happened behind the scenes between Brandi and A sure I do but I don’t want FR involved.

              • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

PJ-I dont think Brandi was being bullied-Faye asked her questions. If Adrienne did something so horrible to Brandi that she felt the need to repeat a deep dark(?) secret about her then she should be able to articulate what was done to her.
I said I didnt like Faye and I watched the entire OJ trial and read every Dominic Dunne article written about the trial and plenty of other books so I know exactly who Faye was then. I just asked about her being called a “grifter”. She was a drug addict and in rehab when Nicole was murdered and completely cashed in on her friends death. We all know this. We all knew this 2 years ago when she went to the dinner at Camille’s house. No one cared then but everybody cares now-that is my only point about Faye.
Contessa-Brandi had Lisa at the dinner but that was not what I was getting at. Marissa was not Brandi’s friend then-they just met that night. If Brandi had her former drug addict friend Jennifer with her and she went off on Adrienne-would that be ok? That was my question. And for the record Marissa does have a relationship with Kyle and has said on twitter that Kyle is a wonderful friend. Why should we be impressed by Paul having a relationship with Brandi? Wasn’t he bullying her at Mauricio’s party? It seems to me that every person who questions Brandi is wrong and anyone who thinks she is fab is right.

                • PJ says:

I think the fake cigarette smoker overshadowed Faye at that party, people cared they just had a person with more outrageous behavior to focus on. People had a lot to say about Faye on this blog after that episode and I don’t recall anything favorable.

I guess we aren’t going to agree about the bulling. That’s the way I saw it. Brandi did not have to answer anything Faye asked and she didn’t have to explain anything about the situation with Adrienne to Faye. I’ve been to many dinner parties and that is not normal dinner party conversation, that’s not normal conversation period. I’ve never had a conversation like that. If I had someone come at me like that I probably would have laughed and said I’m not going to talk to you about this, but the food is lovely isn’t it and then completely ignored her like she didn’t exist no matter what she said. That conversation was not designed to ask questions that conversation was designed to provoke a response. That conversation, in my opinion, was Faye trying to put herself in the limelight, make herself part of the story line, get herself on RHBH and run Brandi out of town to make room for Faye. You have your opinion and I have mine.

                  • Kansas Girl says:

I agree with you, PJ. And I HAVE had a “conversation” like that. A teacher spent an hour badgering me about my flaws, based on the one college course she had on Freud when she was younger. She made it clear she was doing this for my own good. Because she had the power, I had to listen and take it.

I am not the same person now I was then. Like you suggest, drawing a clear line about what is not possible conversational topics is the starting point, and then continually deflecting the conversation. Brandi could have been stronger and insisted the conversation was not appropriate, and could refuse to be drawn into it. I’d love to coach her on how to deflect goading.

        • PJ says:

Princess: People can change true if they are highly motivated to change. But they need to come to a realization that they need to change before they do the work to change. Exactly what group does Faye fit in with? Certainly not with the whole group on RHBH. Yes she fits in with some people in Beverly Hills but just because people live in BH and have money does not make them good people. It isn’t just the drugs that people don’t like Faye for its so much more.

BREAKING NEWS: Camille’s divorce is finally settled…..Kelsey is still a douche…

    http://www.tmz.com/2012/12/21/kelsey-camille-grammer-settle-divorce-property-settlement-house/

    • PJ says:

But this quotes their net worth at 60 mil. I read a much higher figure when proceedings began, it was more like this was the amount Camille would get out of the divorce. .

      • princesspindy says:

She was on Anderson Coooper saying he had frozen all the assets, maybe he finally got a smart lawyer that could get thru that thick skull of his and he was able to hide some of the $$, who knows, it’s sooo much money!!! They had a lot of real estate also and that probably has suffered in value too……

        • PJ says:

But I think they were worth a lot more than this article says. Camille said she had received no child support from him at all. He should have been paying all along.

          • rabblerouser2010R says:

I think a lot of their money was tied up in real estate so their assets probably fluctuated based on the market and carrying costs.

I feel for Camile but at the end of the day she is still coming out on top given that she didn’t come into the marriage with a whole lot of assets and that Kelsey’s big pay day was from Frasier, which he had long before he met her.

    • Powell says:

Well since smart bizman Kelsey doesn’t think it’s in good taste to get a prenup I hope that when he and Katy divorce in a few yrs that she gets the rest of what Camille didn’t get. Is he working? I haven’t heard about any movie roles, or tv projects or even Broadway esp since he told Camille NY loves him.

      • rabblerouser2010R says:

I loved him on Fraiser because the show was so funny, but now I think take every arrogant think about that character and times it by x100 and you have Kelsey Gramer, no way can I watch him again.

Project Runway – I am loving the AllStar Season, I have a theory as to why they keep Ivy, she has loads of experience and worked tons of places but she can’t think “outside” the box but they are trying to push that. Personally, I think the judges aren’t going to send Uli or Anthony Ryan home, I think they are a lock for the Final 3 with the last spot going to either Emilio or Josh and they will send Ivy home when and if she is in the bottom two with Uli or AR, that’s just my opinion. I knew LauraKathleen wouldn’t make it to the finals, and I am kinda glad because she is one stuckup snobby biotch.

    • trudie says:

I too was happy that Laura Kathleen went home last night. I always love when designers who knock their opponents get taken down a peg. (Of course, they all pretty much knock their opponents!)

VV, my friend who ate at Villa Blanca and met Lisa, Ken & Giggy said today she now thinks perhaps this was the day of the vow renewal. (I had sent her the proposed timeline.) She said Giggy had on an overly fancy and very stiff outfit that was jeweled, not at all like he usually wears, but it reminded her of how he was dressed for Pandora’s wedding. They were there on a Sunday, perhaps the last Sunday in July. (I urged her to check the dates, but she seems to not be able to remember. I know I can figure it out from her emails about the trip.) While she and her husband sat there, a limo pulled up with people and a group sat down at an inside table. Ken and Lisa sat with them. My friend is sure they were important Beverly Hills people (because they arrived in a limo), but did not take a picture. I told her today she needs to work on her spy skills!

          • VV says:

If she paid by credit card, she can check the statement for the date.
Absolutely, she needs to release her inner spy 😉

I didn’t watch much of Miami just the last 10 minutes. But I had a thought about Karent when she told her mom she wanted to concentrate on her parents, especially since her dad was sick. She wouldn’t be worrying about Rodolfo. Then she Skyped w/Rodolfo saying the girls are in their biz, she & Rodolfo know their relationship, they love each other, blah, blah, blah. Well remember epi 1/2 Karent says to Adriana Ana is texting Rodolfo all the time. We know it was Ana his fellow soap star but Rodolfo lets Karent believe it’s the group’s Ana and Ana is saying he’s called me, why is he ignoring me like he doesn’t know me. So from the beginning of the season Rodolfo has been w/Ana the soap star which means Karent knew about Ana the soap star but needed a BF for the show. All season she got close to Lisa & Joanna, had them believing she was in a REAL relationship & had them protecting her all season. I wonder how this will shake out at the reunion cause Karent used Lisa & Joanna.

          • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

T-Rex….my butter is out but I forgot about the eggs…going to take them out now. Any chance of you sharing your famous chocolate chip recipe???

            • T-Rex says:

Yep it’s the tollhouse recipe on the back of the nestle package that I use a smidge less salt and an extra teaspoon of vanilla. Key is I hand beat everything with a wooden spoon, had the spoon for 25 years and it’s only used for cookie batter and nothing else. I also have a mason cash mixing bowl, a splurge I made many years ago. I also bake on silpats on the cookie sheet. And everything has to be at room temp the eggs, butter and all other ingredients.

        • Kansas Girl says:

I have a pair of mittens to finish knitting, and then I’m ready. There are scones to deliver to friends, but that’s fun to do. Bring on Christmas!

    • L.A. Chica says:

Good morning and Merry Christmas, happy holidays! I’m so happy to have re-discovered Lynn’s Place; the last time I was here (and I’m not sure it was called that back then) was shortly after Lynn passed away.

Those captions are hilarious, and the recaps are great. I only watch RHBH and Project Runway Allstars, but it’s nice to get “caught up” on RHNJ, too.

About RHBH, I sure hope that the fact Bravo removed MCFR’s blog is a sign that they’re listening to viewers and will NOT promote her to housewife status in the future. Most of us don’t even want to see her on our TV as a HW friend. Ugh—she is so off-putting, and watching her bully Brandi made me wish I was at that dinner table so I could shut her down. What a bitch.

As I see it, here’s the difference between Brandi and Faye: Brandi lashes out in self-defense, Faye lashes out to show everyone how superior she is. Brandi tells the truth, Faye gives her opinion based on biased hearsay. Brandi admits when she’s wrong and owns her mistakes, Faye thinks she’s perfect. Brandi empathizes because she’s been there and isn’t afraid to own her past, Faye is condescending and judgemental because she avoids acknowledging her past.

In short, Brandi knows she’s a flawed human being (as we all are) and she is humble. Faye, being human, is also flawed but can’t admit it and so she is unbearably self-righteous and arrogant. And she’s a bully.

This is why I can’t stand the Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick, on top of the fact that she is an unrepentant social climbing user and grifter. She is the last person on earth to be passing judgement on anyone, least of all Brandi. And Kyle is a conniving witch to have set her up to be Faye’s target.

Everything about Faye—her attitude, her body language, the way she spoke as if she were the Queen of England (sans British accent) was so infuriating! I’m so glad Lisa and Marisa spoke up, but why were Camille and Taylor so silent? We know why Kyle allowed her dinner party to go to shit.

And speaking of silence I think it’s appalling that no one attempted to get Paul (and Adrienne) out of Brandi’s face at Maurice’s nonevent event. Was that scene scripted to play out that way or is everyone just a coward?

A few other observations: when the guests arrived at Kyle’s dinner party, Lisa was the only one to bring anything, the rest arrived empty handed. This happens a lot at these events. Could arriving empty handed to a dinner party be a “broken windows” sign that these people don’t know how to behave at social gatherings? Maybe that would explain the rudeness toward hosts that we’ve witnessed; rudeness toward other guests just naturally follows.

Sorry for the long post, I had a lot pent up and Bravo won’t post my comments. Thank you for letting me have my say here. 🙂

      • BB says:

Anytime you wish to vent, this is the place!

        • L.A. Chica says:

Thank you, BB! This is a most welcoming place, and I love to read everyone’s thoughts and goings-on in life.

      • mrspeabody says:

I was wondering why no guy came over to help Brandi at that party either, most men would have tried to shut that down with Paul but I suppose with the cameras there they knew not to. Another thing that really bothered me was Maurico’s respond when Taylor said to him “you’d never do that to a woman”. It amazed me he didn’t say without hesitation “of course I wouldn’t” but that wasn’t his response at all, his response was disappointing and really left a sour taste in my mouth. Made me wonder just what type of man is he and another thing that has left me wondering about both him and Kyle is the fact they are friends with someone like MCFR

        • L.A. Chica says:

You’re so right, mrspeabody. In a way Mauricio’s indifference to Paul’s behavior at his own event is worse than Paul’s rage fueled rant. Paul can apologize for losing his head but Mauricio would need to change his core values to make up for allowing such abuse to take place. I, too, was left with a very sour taste in my mouth by his wishy washy response to the question asked of him.

And yes, his and Kyle’s friendship with MCFR really does make you wonder.

      • contessa says:

Great Post, and great observations of the differences between Brandi and the morally corrupt resnick. I tried to convey that in a post way up above, and these are the thoughts that were swimming through my head that I couldn’t get down on paper. Applause to you!

        • L.A. Chica says:

Thank you, contessa. 🙂 You also offered some great insights up above, and I think our posts are complementary to each other in describing Brandi vs MCFR.

      • VV says:

Maybe Brandi’s friend and others did try to stop him and said something. We are seeing this things through Bravo’s eyes. They are known for their malicious editing to manipulate perception.

        • L.A. Chica says:

VV, it’s true what you say about Bravo’s editing techniques, they are known to badly skew the way scenes play out through their creative selectivity. However, none of the Housewives’ blogs contradict what we saw. Camille was very late to post her blog and if she’d read any of the backlash about that then she had a perfect opportunity to correct our understanding of what actually happened, but instead she pretty much admits that no one did anything to intervene. It’s pretty sad.

      • melthehound says:
