Tamra Barney Confirms Adrienne Lied and Other News by NoMoreDrama
Never one to stay out of a battle that has absolutely nothing to do with her, Tamra Barney has gotten herself in the magazines by confirming that she has “insider knowledge” that the secret Brandi Glanville told about Adrienne Maloof was indeed true. She is, therefore, confirming that Adrienne lied when Adrienne said that Brandi was a liar. She claims that Brandi spilled the secret because she has mild Tourettes. My guess is that part isn’t true – and is just Tamra’s way of saying that Brandi says things without thinking. Still no official word on the “secret”.
Bethenny’s Mother in Law says She’s Sad at what Jason is Going Through
Celebuzz has managed to get an interview with Carol Hoppy, mother of Jason Holly – “My son is a wonderful, wonderful person,” a saddened Carol Hoppy told Celebuzz. “I’m sad at what he is having to go through just now because he is a great guy.” she continued, presumably speaking about his separation with Bethenny Frankel. Carol had been featured on Bethenny’s reality show and came across as level-headed and fairly traditional. On the other end of the spectrum, Bethenny’s own mother had surprisingly little to say. She’s normally pretty outspoken about her daughter, even though the two have been estranged for years. “This is the first I have heard of it,” Bernadette Birk said. “I did not know nor never met Jason Hoppy, so I do not know if he was a good husband or not.”
Meanwhile, US Weekly Published a Photo of Jason Having Coffee in New York and Still (Gasp) Wearing his Wedding Ring
Jennifer Dalton finally Discovered as New New Jersey Housewife
Almost a month after the we picked up that Jennifer Dalton was the new New Jersey Housewife, the magazines are finally reporting it. Meanwhile Jennifer has gone almost silent on twitter. To recap, Jennifer was on Pregnant with Heels Season 2. Her episode featured Teresa Giudice. Now Jennifer has been filming with the New Jersey Cast. The “friends” this season are party planner Elvira (unpaid), Kim D (paid) with negotiations still going on with hairdresser Penny (who would like to be paid) and perhaps even Danielle Staub for guest appearance.

The five remaining designers meet Carolyn at Elie Tahari on Fifth Avenue. Tonight the designers will be creating a ready to wear look; something that can be sold to the masses. They meet designer Elie Tahari and are told to create a wow look for ready to wear at a low enough cost for their design to be sold between $500 and $700 and still make a profit. The winning design will be sold at Elie Tahari stores, featured in their windows and on their website. They will choose the fabrics from the Elie Tahari fabric floor. This is a commerce and business challenge.
Anthony Ryan sees fabric he loves, but is afraid the print will make the model look larger, so he passes on it. Uli is choosing white or off-white again. Ivy is choosing a print fabric of blue and orange shades. Emilio chooses a mustard colored silk fabric. Josh chooses magenta. It seems all the designers will be making a dress.
The designers take their fabric to the cutting room for their pricing consultations with the Elie Tahari people. Uli finds out she has to drop her vest to meet the price point. The consultant likes the color Anthony Ryan chose and tells him it will sell well. Ivy decides to modify her design after she sees the print of her fabric. She is going to do a maxi-dress. Anthony Ryan is also going with a print; it looks very similar to the print he passed on or he may have decided to use it after all. Uli doesn’t know why she chose white again and decides it would probably have been smarter to use a color. Emilio thinks the judges respond to color.
Back in the work room, Uli is trying to think of a design detail to make her white dress pop among all the color. She is having trouble. Ivy likes the direction Josh is going but she knows he has a problem with editing. Emilio is using color blocking of mustard, orange and burgundy. Joanna comes in with Elie to see how the designers are doing. Joanna calls Ivy’s feminine and modern. Elie suggests making it short and a Summer piece. I’m not sure Ivy is agreeing.
Elie tells Josh there is a lot going on with his dress, so Josh needs to listen to him and tone it down a little. Joanna and Elie think Emilio’s color combination may be too complicated. Elie thinks Uli’s fabric is too heavy and tells her not to let her fear of using white fabric make her do too much. I think Elie and Joanna like Anthony Ryan’s design and he gives him an inspirational speech before he leaves. The designers know that they need to take Elie’s advice because he will be one of the judges. They have all heard from Elie that less is more.
All the designers get to video chat with someone and Ivy has a chat with Casanova. He gives her a good pep talk and tells her she’s not a loser and she has to fight. When the models come in for a fitting, I notice that all the dress designs are kind of similar except for Ivy’s, who chooses to keep hers long. Uli will really have to take her dress in because it’s way too big on her model.
After the day is over, the designers all have drinks back at the hotel. They talk about Elie Tahari and how he used to be homeless and worked as an electrician when he first came to the U.S. from Israel with $30 in his pocket.
On runway day, Uli is trying to take her dress in and Ivy has to finish the neck and armholes of her dress. I love Anthony Ryan’s dress on his model even though he thinks prints are risky; you either hate them or you love them. Ivy doesn’t like Emilio’s dated and period-like dress. Emilio doesn’t think Ivy caught on to what Elie told her to do. Anthony Ryan thinks Uli’s model is screaming for a ring on that finger. Josh’s dress has a wonky zipper in the back and his model looks like she took a dump in her dress. Emilio is afraid it might be Josh’s demise.
I love Anthony Ryan’s print dress. It fits the model like a glove and the flow and placement of the print is perfect. Josh’s magenta dress doesn’t fit the model well. The top of the front looks funky in the boob area and of course he has a problem with the puckered zipper up the back. I like the color, though. Emilio’s dress is well made, but it looks a little dull, it doesn’t have that wow factor to me. I don’t like Ivy’s long silky dress. The print just doesn’t do it for me. And if she were going to make it a maxi, she should have made it longer in my opinion. Uli’s dress isn’t bad. It has a classic look and is timeless, like she said when she saw the model on the runway. Let’s see if the judges agree with me. I liked Anthony Ryan and Uli’s dresses the best. Emilio’s was in the middle, and Josh and Ivy’s were the worst.
Uli is up first. Georgina loves the detailing of the dress, but doesn’t like the length. Isaac likes the length. Carolyn tells her she could make a white dress every week. Stacy thinks it’s very classy. Elie tells her she made a real improvement from what he saw the day before. Carolyn likes the color blocking of Ivy’s dress, but that’s all she likes about it. Georgina thinks the length is a little frumpy. Elie thinks Ivy’s model looks heavy and Stacie thinks the dress should be shorter. Isaac likes Ivy’s dress when the model walks, but standing still she looks awkward. For Emilio’s dress, Georgina thinks it looks simple and Stacie says it’s not a color she would be drawn towards. Isaac expected more from Emilio than the dress he made. Isaac thinks Anthony Ryan’s dress looks great but takes exception with the neckline. Stacie loves Anthony Ryan’s dress. Georgina thinks it looks young without being a junior dress. Georgina likes Josh’s dress color and fabric but doesn’t like the chest. Elie says the fabric is delicious, but doesn’t like the lace Josh put on the dress. Carolyn thinks the zipper cheapens the dress a little bit. The designers leave the runway.
The judges think Uli’s dress could be worn at work and then be dressed up to go out at night. They are impressed with Anthony Ryan’s dress. So the winner will be between the two. It will come down to which will retail better. Isaac wants to nominate Emilio for immunity. They think his dress is fine, but it’s not the winner or loser. They think Ivy had a good idea, but her dress is just blah. Stacie says she would never try Ivy’s dress on in a store and Isaac points out she’s been on the bottom a lot. Georgina thinks Joshua should be shot with what he did with that great fabric he had to work with. Elie thought Josh’s model was pregnant. The judges are really torn about whom to send home this week; Ivy, who they keep telling to go out of her comfort zone, or Josh, who needs to tone it down a little. A decision has been made. Don’t tell anyone, but I hope Ivy goes this week.
The results: Anthony Ryan wins once again. This is his fourth win. Uli is safe, and so is Emilio. Ivy is out, which Joshua is safe. I like how tonight turned out. I wanted Anthony Ryan to win and Ivy to go and that’s just what happened.
