Go Seahawks / Gia Giudice’s 12th Birthday Party / Real Housewives of Atlanta Cast Blogs – Blogged

Go Seahawks, Gia’s Birthday Party and Other News by NoMoreDrama

Go Seahawks!  The Seattle Seahawks take on the Atlanta Falcons this morning.  The tie-in with the blog?  Kim Zolciak of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is married to Kroy Biermann,  who plays for the Falcons.  Needless to say Kim and I will be rooting for different teams this morning.

In other housewife news (like anything else matters this morning), rumors are beginning to swirl that Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy‘s divorce is all about publicity.   More than one article popped up in my search on this, but you can read more here.  They are just rumors as far as I can tell – probably stemming from someone speculating.  Here’s a bit of the quote: It wouldn’t surprise anyone at all if ….”  The insider then goes on to talk about Gregg and NeNe getting back together (as an example of a relationship publicity stunt) and Jason still wearing his wedding ring.  Here are my thoughts.  The insider had no insider knowledge.  I could share my thoughts on an issue and someone could call me an insider but that means nothing.  Yes there are many fake breakup, boyfriends, and relationships on these reality shows.  I see how it would help their ratings.  I’m not sure about a talk show that isn’t even taping yet.  And finally, Jason’s ring.  To me that’s a sign he’s not ready to take it off yet and that’s about it.

Gia Giudice’s Birthday Party.  Rumors are also swirling that the feud between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga is over.  Apparently Melissa was invited to, and showed up for, Gia Giudice’s birthday party.  We have photographic evidence (from Elvira’s twitter feed) that Milania was there!!  Gia is twelve (shocking isn’t it – I thought she’d be 16 or so by now).  Radaronline has a whole bunch of photos.  Apparently Gia and her dance friends put on a show for the crowd that was “glow in the dark” and amazeballs.  (Go Gia!).  I know I’m excited to see that next year on the show!!  Also in attendance were Jennifer Dalton, Kim DePaula, and Elvira the Party Planner (who put on the event).  This sounds like a housewife party and not a family birthday party IMHO but who’s judging.  I think we now know why Melissa was getting her hair done on the 11th.  Meanwhile Teresa tweeted about Joey, “My poor brother with this horrible flu. Everyone, please, get your flu shot!”  Maybe things are getting better for the family.

Today: Teresa’s dad was in the hospital again, but is on his way home.  She just tweeted “Going to get my dad out of the hospital. Happy to be bringing him home on a Sunday!”  Best wishes on a speedy recovery Teresa’s dad!!

Hey everyone, I have to apologize to you all but it’s not entirely all my fault.  When I read our site each day, I see how other series’ blog recaps come soon after the show.  With RHOA, the reviews always come on a Sunday…Saturday if you are lucky.  Well, that being said…the ladies started the season in full swing blogging long blogs and the like.  It took time to convey thoughts, etc.  There were also quite a few.  Well, throughout the season I started getting faster and knocking them out…then the ladies go silent for the most part.  I look for a blog on Monday’s at lunch and nothing…Tuesday, nothing…Wednesday or Thursday one or two may pop up.  Ok, I like to pace and I do the review as they come in…but where’s the cut off you know?  On Friday nights, I go out…Saturdays, I spend time with family and friends, clean, cook…life.  That being said on Friday’s if their blogs aren’t in by 1PM ET, I don’t think about them until late Saturday and then I freak…oh crap, I have to do these reviews.  I just only wish these ladies would inundate me again so I could just knock them out in one fell swoop.  I just wanted to clarify why it seems like the blogs have been lacking and late…it’s not all my fault…these ladies aren’t that involved in blogging expeditiously (or even at all like the past few weeks) like the other franchises, this is why you see some cast members missing, & by Sunday AM I’m  sending to NoMoreDrama, & I have waited and waited as long as I can…nonetheless, I try.   I hope you guys are still enjoying  the reviews.  Have a wonderful week!  HilDogATL.

Cynthia begins her blog stating the obvious that it’s been some time since she has last blogged and she hopes we all had a Happy Holiday season.  She then beats the Anguilla subject for the last time, I pray.  She reiterates that she totally loves Anguilla and she believes it was a wonderful trip for all.

NeNe and Kandi – The Talk!

Let me be the first to say how happy I was for NeNe and Kandi to sit down like grown women and discuss their issues with each other. I have spent time with both of these ladies, and I really never understood exactly why they had an issue with each other. I wasn’t trying to be messy by telling NeNe how Kandi felt. I wanted her to know, because I hoped it would actually prompt NeNe to sit down with Kandi and talk it out. That’s exactly what happened! I was clear with NeNe that Kandi did not say any of this in a mean spirited way, but these were Kandi’s feelings. I thought their conversation was fun, to the point, and productive. I was excited to see them squash it and move on!”  I have say that it was a productive meeting and I hope these ladies can move forward and past any negativity from the past.  Hate is not a pretty trait.

Cynthia then touches on the past with her and Kenya and that while she was not a Kenya fan in the beginning she recognizes that the other ladies befriended her and while they were def not ever going to be besties, they could at least be civil and courteous and able to interact with one another.  When Kenya gave me the book by Vanessa Williams at the beach, I was a little surprised! I was still on cloud nine after the vow renewal and honestly thought that we were in a good place at this point. BFFs no, cool yes! As soon as Kenya gave me my book/gift, I knew immediately that it was not with kind intentions. It was basically an attempt to “read” me and embarrass me in front of everyone, because of the Miss America comment I made at the Let Your Success Flow party. Here’s the good news: I love books and always consider them to be great gifts. I live for a good read! However, since I had already chatted with Vanessa Williams personally about my upcoming pageant, the book did not prove to be very useful. I guess even in this situation, it’s the thought that counts! Now the bad news: no one at the table really cared or entertained Kenya’s “mean girl moment,” and once again she failed get the attention she seems to so desperately want.
BTW “Beyonce,” had I known that you were going to gift me a book on the trip, I would have returned the favor. Have you ever read
He’s Just Not That into You?”

Aww, Cynthia made a funny!  No, on a serious note, I saw right through Kenya’s fake rear end.  She knew what she was doing and it was tacky and classless once again.  Who in their right mind gives a woman a book as a dig when she has just renewed her vows.  I agree with Cynthia that Kenya tried so hard to make the day all about her and she wasn’t happy that she wasn’t the center of attention and all eyes on her.  I have to say, if Kenya gets asked if she is Beyonce, I get hounded every time I go to the airport because I look like Kiera Knightly.   Cynthia ends her blog by singing NeNe’s praises once again and that she is very happy that she has made it to Hollywood.  She knows that NeNe will shine and that be very successful.

Well she starts her blog with none other than her announcement that she is engaged again to Gregg and that she loves him with all her heart.  Ugh, we all know that this divorce was a farce.  Sure, people separate and all but I really and truly feel like so many others that this was all for Bravo cameras and in hopes of a spin off but I digress.  She then goes on to give thanks to all the ladies for supporting her in sending her off to Hollywood.

Nene then tells us about her ‘glambaby’.  I’m sorry, you guys may think it’s cute and all (the name) but I can’t stand it.  What is so wrong about being a grandmother?  I had when “Hollywood” comes up with these stupid acronyms and putting names together.  UGH.  Ok, I’m done.  On a more serious note, the baby is beautiful.  I hope that the mother has some sense to keep this lil one grounded.

Porsha says she doesn’t believe in a pre-nup — that’s easy for someone to say that hasn’t worked their butt off for their career. A pre-nup in my opinion is a smart way to protect what you’ve worked for or to make sure that things are split equally in case the relationship goes downhill.”

I must agree with Nene.  Yes, it is a little different in the real world but when there are millions involved and wealth, you must protect yourself.  Sadly, I think we all know someone in our lives who has been torn apart by divorce and been left penniless.  I feel for all of those people.

Walter and Kenya Fishing
They acted out that scene well! It was almost believable.”

Heck yeah NeNe, bloop, bloop!  Classic.  It was so scripted it was sick.  That was a pond in the back of a neighborhood and who in the hell goes fishing with Gucci sneakers on?  Dope!  NeNe then ends her blog thanking us for watching and reminds us that the show time has changed to 8.

Ok guys, you may be upset with me for this one but I really have no words for this woman and her lies.  She has 5 pages of explanations and lies on top of lies.  It’s all a shame and Walter went on national radio to call her out on it because he was looking like the idiot and didn’t appreciate it.  Well, you guys signed up for this act and you have made your bed.  I suppose I have a few words to say but here is Kenya’s own words.  Blech.

“This has been an incredible year for me!  I wanted to make a drastic change in my life and that I did.  I stepped outside of my comfort zone in order to achieve my personal goals. Adjusting to a new city, new friends, a new job, and a serious relationship hasn’t been easy to say the least.”

She then goes onto saying that NeNe’s grandchild is precious and she is very happy for her.  She believes the straight talk she is giving Bryson is needed.  How does she know?  She has no kids or ever been married…bloop, bloop!  She then talks about the scene with Kandi and Riley and how being a single mom can’t be easy.

Ooh Lawwhd.  Here we go again:

“It’s amazing to me how one’s ENTIRE existence on the show revolves around me. In her every scene I’m being negatively talked about, demeaned, and berated with insults to anyone who will listen to her recreate the truth i.e. when Kordell stated in the prior episode that she has apologized four times, NOT TRUE. The truth is I immediately apologized to her in Anguilla and I have NEVER received an apology. The character assassinations on my personhood continue despite my desire to put it all behind me.

You can’t force a friendship but there is no need to fight or continue conflict. It’s just wasted time and energy. The insults she made in Anguilla were so hurtful that only time can heal those wounds. In the meantime, I’ve moved on and have been pleasant and cordial, and I hope that she can too without all the gratuitous nastiness.”

I agree that you can’t force friendships, this is life but seriously, she came off in their first meeting as a holier than thou woman and she tried her hardest to make herself the star of the show.  I believe Kenya knew going into this experience that if she wanted airtime she had to bring the drama and sadly, the drama she brings comes across as her being cray-cray.  But again, just my opinion.  Kenya then touches on how it was nice of Cynthia to throw the party for NeNe and that it was a lovely time although one person tried to rain on the parade.  Sorry, if Kenya was my sister, I’d emancipate myself too!

“I’ve always been the noncommittal person in a relationship. I was so eager to break that spell that I was willing to settle for someone who has since proven to be not good enough for me. The mark of a real man is honesty, courage, and strength.  Walter said he loves me and he wouldn’t be there if he didn’t. Yet his body language, his nonchalant and often cold tone, and his lack of affection toward me said loud and clear: I DON’T WANT TO MARRY YOU. So why lead me on? Why waste my time? Why humiliate me in front of the world? I was so focused on making the relationship work that I lost the one important counsel that I always give to other women: Look to a man’s actions and not his words. I am embarrassed but I hope that all women can learn from the mistakes I’ve made in love.”  OMG-YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED OUT!  IT WAS ALL BAD ACTING!  If this woman had any sense or a good PR person she would just shut up.  You can’t lie with lies.  There is no truth in my opinion to anything that comes out of this woman’s mouth.  Had she owned up to her lies, maybe I could give her another change but at this point her spin control stinks.  She then goes onto say that she is single and it is a blessing because she’d rather be alone than treated poorly.  Blah, blah.  She also says she appreciates her “fans” for sending words of encouragement, yada, yada.  FANS?   Who is a fan?  Ok, I’m done, thank goodness!

Porsha begins her blog catching us up with her holidays and how Kordelle made their time special.  They spend a week at the St. Regis (must be nice) and that she is thankful for the quality time she had with friends and family.

She then touches on how beautiful NeNe’s grandchild is and that she is looking forward to baby sitting soon.  She also tells us that she understands Riley’s protectiveness toward’s Kandi since they have always been with one another (much like her mom) and that it is hard to share as a child the person who is your world.  She loves that Todd, Riley & Kandi are a little family.

That brings me to my day shopping for furniture with Kandi. First let me share with you the name of the store, since I received so many questions about it — Mathews’ Furniture Galleries. It is where I purchased the majority of our furnishings. What I love most about the store and the reason I took Kandi there is that for a creative decor lover it is a playground. I chose the majority of the fabrics, wood finishes, and frames for most of the pieces in my house. I guess it’s safe to say I have a thing for home decor. Here’s a thought, maybe soon I’ll do something with that talent…

Well let’s jump right in to when Kandi asked me if I had a pre-nup. I was thrown completely off. I really like her and felt comfortable with her, but here I am about to answer a personal question for the world to see. So I just fly out with a no. In my opinion a marriage is a sacred union between two people coming together as one with love being that foundation — being one in mind, body, and spirit. This means I want to agree with my husband and have like minds, I want to bond with him in the flesh (meaning anything that has to do with the natural things, whether it’s a sexual, monetary, or family issue etc.). I also want to become one spiritually with my husband so that we are equally yoked. We have the same beliefs when it comes to God and how WE have our purpose shown to us by God. So through bonding with him in mind, body, and spirit there is no place for a piece of paper to stand between us. However I totally can see anyone else’s point of view and understand why she or anyone else would choose to have one. For me I see it as a “to each his own” issue.”

Ok guys, I know I have given Porsha a pass this season but it slightly ends here.  Yes, I get her point about it being a union between her husband and God and that it is something that they take seriously.  I really do get it.  I also get the fact that while Porsha’s family is wealthy and well known in Atlanta, Porsha really has lived in the shadows of her family.  I really don’t see her making any of her own money before she married Kordelle.  That being said, she really doesn’t have much to lose in the monetary side on her own.  What she does have to consider is that Kordelle made her a housewife.  This is what she knows, this is her life.  God forbid something did happen and the marriage went bust.  What does she have left?  She has nothing promised to her.  Sure, she could probably get spousal support but it wouldn’t keep her lifestyle the way it is.  Sadly, women put all their trust in a man and sometimes it doesn’t work and they are left with nothing.  I hardly doubt Porsha would ever really struggle financially.  But nonetheless, like I said earlier, when there is a substantial financial loss or gain prenups, even small one’s are a smart decision.

Porsha finshes her blog by telling us she has to run to the store because she always forgets something and this time it was bread and turkey.  Funny, I love her but I totally see her forgetting lots of things.  However, something tells me Porsha laughs at her own mistakes!  That’s refreshing.  And she finishes with a wonderful funny!  “Oh I almost forgot, did I tell you all that everyday somebody says I look like Lady Gaga? LMBO! I know you’re thinking what I’m thinking, I totally resemble her more than one of my cast mates looks like Beyonce. Haha!”  THAT’S FUNNY!

  1. Powell says:

Good morning everyone. It’s supposed to be a nice day before the real cold hits us this week. I’m not looking forward to that.

I’m watching VR and frankly I don’t like any of Lisa’s staff. Kenya looks like Beyonce and now Scheana looks like Brittney Spears?? Full of yourself much Scheana? Stassi needs to have her ass handed to her. She’s Pandora’s friend. You’d think she’d have that much more respect for Lisa. I hope that she’s the one that we’ve seen in promos that Lisa fires.

    • Rebecca says:

      Good morning!

    • Boobah says:

G’morning! I see you are back at 100%!

Re: VR – I tried to sit through that show more than once. I just couldn’t do it. I can’t believe that Scheana is still employed by Lisa. I understand business ownership, but you have to draw the line somewhere, IMHO. Employee’s are a reflection of the owner. Why would Lisa keep an employee as a waitress that has a skanky reputation? She handles food and clearly doesn’t have personal standards…SO…I could totally see Scheana serving a ‘Sneezer’ (or worse) with that pie if you pissed her off.

      • Powell says:

Yeah Boobah I’m back in full force. Sobered up. 🙂

What Scheana did was wrong. But as far as we know Eddie’s the only one. What she did was wrong. If the restaurants, hotels, clubs, dept stores, etc fired all the men & women that slept w/married actors, singers, biz owners they’d be firing people all the time. If that is a proven rep, that’s what they go around doing, then that’s a different story. Stassi may be pretty but she’s not confident if she is so paranoid that Scheana will steal her BF. She told Scheana she’s paranoid cause every guy she’s been w/has cheated in her. Did she listen to her words? Cause they cheated because of her & her prima Donna attitude.

        • Boobah says:

LOL – sober! Not me. JK! Geez, I better be careful or I’m gonna get a rep myself – the blog drunk.

Seriously though – you make a good point. I guess I was thinking about how Sheana is putting it out there for all to see vs. non-TV businesses that might be more discreet. But rumors happen everywhere – TV land or not. So I may be too idealistic.

I thought what Stassi said was very telling. Every guy she has been with has cheated? I agree her attitude is contributing to her track record. She is definitely not confident. Or maybe she likes the role of victim. Thats also seems to be a theme in Reality TV.

        • Morning ladies! Been up and out the door and back again this morning. Got a good nights sleep and over the hangover! 😛

I tried to watch VR too and could not make it through the epi even once. Not my cup of tea, and it makes me toss a side eye to Lisa as to why she is doing it. And I don’t want my “I love Lisa” bubble bust just yet! She is about the only HW I still like!

People like Stassi act the way they do because of deep insecurities….but people like her do not understand that it is their behavior that turns people away. If they embrace their insecurities and work on them, then they won’t act like jerks, and people will like them. It’s a round robin. Tweet! 😀

          • Oooops….bust = burst. (hate when I do that!)

          • Powell says:

Haha. You and Boobah crack me up. I didn’t pay attention. Is Lisa the/an exec producer? I was excited she was getting her show. I knew it would show her staff but I didn’t know it was show so much pettiness, backstabbing about stupid things & them sleeping w/one another. I hope it’ll change. I’m routing for Lisa.

          • LaineyLainey says:

I believe the key word in your post is “acting”…;)
I’m enjoying the bad acting and the heavy handed manipulations. Sort of like I’m sitting here, saying “I know what you’re doinnnnnng!!”

    • LaineyLainey says:

Hi Powelly-Poo – – -we’re getting our blast of cold now…and it’s wonderful!!! Highs are in the 40’s and the sky is clear. I love this weather.

    • Beckygrey says:

It wasn’t Sheena that was friends with Pandora, it was the mean chick. (the leadr of the pack). Lisa said she wouldn’t firer Sheana, because she doesn’t have any grounds to fire her.

  2. plainviewsue says:

    Am I first???

  3. Rebecca says:

I’ve watched two Sunday morning shows so far where they’ve featured Bethenny’s divorce. This is either a publicity stunt or she’s trying to capitalize on people’s sympathy for a broken family with a little girl. Either way she’s selling her soul for ratings for her talk show. Count me out.

    • Powell says:

I was on Twitter & saw a tweet to B but it was 10 already so I missed her on Sunday Morning.

      • Cartwheels says:

I saw it, they barely talked about the divorce, they mainly talked about her products. She after all is a business women and she has to keep promoting her products, life doesn’t stop because she is getting divorce.

    • Powell says:

Rebecca her PR is doing what PR do whether B wants to do it or not. Her show is still going to come on, Beam wants SG to continue it’s rise & we know she’s got other ventures. This is what is done in Hollywood. Remember when Kim Basinger was getting back at Alec Baldwin & released the phone message he left his daughter when he cursed her out? 30 Rock was new. After the dust settled a little in the media Alec went on Letterman & others to plead his case, to explain. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong but that’s what the PR wheel is paid to do.

      • Cartwheels says:

I agree, TT mentioned that the interview was taped before the split and I tend to agree, some of the voiceovers were done after though because they mentioned the divorce and the scene at Ellen’s.
I was glad to see Bethenny just being herself, strong and determined, not sappy and depressed, but the again I remembered that this might have been taped before the split.

      • Boobah says:

I remember that! Alec lost his marbles on his daughter. Isn’t he know as a hothead? I never really knew what to make of that though. While that was a horrible message to his daughter, I had to wonder why Kim released that.

        • LaineyLainey says:

Maybe to make him stop verbally abusing the girl. who knows

        • Powell says:

She released it because Alec is a hothead & she wanted to embarrass him & she resented him having visitation w/their daughter. All the Baldwin boys are hotheads. Time will tell how Alec treats his new wife.

          • Called A Princess... says:

I am not sure why Kim decided to release the tape. I do not know her personally but Alex seems to have a very large ego and he seems to get out of control, sometimes. Kim seems to be emotionally unstable at times, too. Not a great combo plate. Pure evil to call your own daughter a pig in a message that you know is being recorded and then have the gall to make public excuses for the behavior, as though there are any. He seems to have no shame for his part in that mess. Messy. JMHO.

  4. plainviewsue says:

Guess not! Anyway, everyone at Gia’s party was wearing white. That was the theme. And of course fame whorga Melissa is the only one who doesn’t wear white. I know that’s a minor detail, but the woman does love to stand out and be on display!!!

There were a bunch of pictures on Reality Tea’s blog. I don’t follow her blog, but somebody retweeted that. There was a big group picture and it looked like (I could be wrong) that Juicy was holding Gino!

Reality Tea also had pictures of Kim D talking to Melissa with that look on her face, and then Melissa seems to be going over to Teresa to confront her on something. Good going Melissa. It’s Gia’s birthday party, your husband is in the hospital, your father in law is in the hospital. Let’s go into attack mode.

    • Powell says:

Melissa didn’t wear white to piss T off. She’s always calculated.

    • Cartwheels says:

I wish Melissa would had kept true to her word and never ever would had talk to Teresa again, which means to her kids too. They sure don’t need her in their lives.

If Joey Marco who is Gia’s godfather doesn’t feel like he has to be there, why does Melissa feel like she should be there? If she want her kids to go, she could send them with one of her nannies and avoid the conflict.
Can she just let Gia have a day of her own, without Melissa making it about her? Melissa knows that this is only going to generate controversy and does it anyway to give the false pretense that she is the great aunt.

      • WindyCityWondering says:

If there is a camera in the vicinity then Melissa will be there!

      • princesspindy says:

I think he was in the hospital with little tarzan, right?

        • Called A Princess... says:

If Bravo was filming, Melissa may have had little choice in the matter. It may have been her way of getting a mandatory scene with the Guidice’s out of the way. JMHO.

      • plainviewsue says:

I agree Cartwheels. But Melissa will never miss a photo op.

Joey was in the hospital with the flu.

    • VV says:

I didn’t notice that good observation PVS. I love seeing Tre’s family but when I think about the rest… Not sure I’ll stomach another season of Tre bashing.
Read Greg is moving to SF. YAY!!!

    • Sasha says:

I see there is true Melissa hate around here. I saw it as attending a simple birthday party but it looks like that calculating, on display and in attack mode woman should have stayed home. Something tells me that she would have wrong if she had stayed home too.

      • They probably have to commit to events for filming. I give her props for going by herself if Joey was still sick.

        • LaineyLainey says:

I agree with you NMD, that it’s a contractual commitment to make appearances. so then why make a big deal about saying that you’re done with Teresa and her kids…if you know you probably have to commit to events for filming.? If you and I know that, does Mel not know that? I don’t give her props for appearing, because it’s her job. Plus all that talk of being done with Teresa and the girls was hooey and she knew it was hooey while she was saying it. Hooey, I tell you. No props. Ok, one prop. One prop, since her hubs was ill. only one.

          • Called A Princess... says:

Because Lainey, Melissa is a liar and does not feel that need to make accurate statements that she might have to own up to, in the future. She can not be trusted except to disappoint and cause passive aggressive family conflict. JMHO.

      • Cartwheels says:

She is the one that said to Teresa’s face that she would never talk to her again and neither would her children, those are major words.

        • Sasha says:

People forgive, forget and make amends all the time. If this is the case I honestly don’t see why it would be wrong. Make peace, be civil and any of that other good stuff.

          • LaineyLainey says:

Ohhhhh! I didn’t realize this a forgive and forget thing. That’s cool, then. It should be a fun and uplifting season, then!!

            • Sasha says:

Ahhh sarcasm. This season could be like last season and I’ll still watch. I am entertained either way. I just don’t get to the point where I fume over the actions of the nice tv people. Their the ones that have to deal with each other. Sometimes it is so much easier to make nice.

          • Cartwheels says:

The forgive and forget IMO has to happen between Teresa and her brother, not between Melissa and Teresa, I could care less if they ever talk to each other again past as hellos and good by, enough to be civilized, but Teresa and her brother , well that is different.

            • Sasha says:

It would be a thousand times better if they all held hands and sang kumbaya but that ain’t happening. I don’t think Teresa will be happy with the situation unless Joey is divorced and at her command.

              • chismosa says:

Sasha not sure if you’ll see this, but i agree with your stance all the way, Melissa-wise. I’m not on the Mel-Hate-Train but that is the general rail line around here. 😦

      • melthehound says:

The reason for the ‘Melissa hate’ around here IS Melissa. Let’s not get that twisted.. She has shown herself to be little more than a calculating fame whore and so is her husband, Joey Marco. So, Yes. Everything she says and does comes under question and sometimes, fire.

        • Sasha says:

I have never seen her as calculating but her sister in law is another story. I am in the minority because I do like Melissa and my boy Joey. I guess they all housewives could be called fame whores. Aren’t they all on the push a product or themselves? It’s all good with me.

          • melthehound says:

We see things differently when it comes to this cast of characters..

I guess they all housewives could be called fame whores.
            I agree.

Aren’t they all on the push a product or themselves?

          • nyc mama says:

And I’m probably in the middle of you all since IMO there is little difference between either M or T. Both are dishonest and both are famewhores, pretty but little intelligence and both have horrible taste in men.

I remember, not all that long ago, the virtriol about Teresa and the bankruptcy. Bravolebrities all constantly change as do fan allegiences. In my case I never liked either.

            • Called A Princess... says:

I think what it really comes down to for me is that this is really Teresa’s show. Melissa wants to be the star. You can see it in her eyes. She just can not believe that Teresa is the star. This seems to be where the conflict truly lies. It is in not as much about interpersonal stuff with Melissa, too deep, just an excuse. She will do anything to become the star of that show. To the point of desperation. I am not sure I am willing to watch that happen. JMHO.

              • nyc mama says:

                I agree.
It seems the jealousy between these two was long before RH and will continue long after. They all seem to be jealous of each other for a plethora of reasons. in the meantime, the T and M drama along with their “friends” and family (both Marco and Giudice) has left me uninterested in either.

      • plainviewsue says:

If she had stayed home, it would have made more sense. How do you go to the birthday party of your niece, when at the reunion you let the “world” know that you’re selling your house to get your angelic children away from the evil Guidice girls. Teresa should have nothing to do with that wench.

    • nyc mama says:

Wow a “white party”, what an original idea (not). I guess she wants to be like P Diddy, Kyle,… Why is there not an original idea on any of these shows? Are they all going to have white parties now? Psychics?

From the pics posted Jennifer Dalton isn’t in white and others aren’t either so perhaps it was optional

      • Beckygrey says:

White parties happened long before P Diddy”

        • nyc mama says:

Indeed and I am sure they will continue long after the RH and Bravo are gone but I just used those 2 for examples. Bravo needs some creativity. You would think that Elvira the “party planner” would have come up with something original or at least different.

          • Called A Princess... says:

I think the Black and White parties are a form of status in some neighborhoods. JMHO.

            • nyc mama says:

For adults thay makes sense but I’m not sue for a 12 year old’s b’day party. And this would have been a perfect opportunity for for Elvira (and Teresa) to show all their “fabulosity” on national TV.

I hoped for Gia’s sake they kept the drama out of it or at least to a minimum but by the look of the pics it doesn’t look like it. With Kim D in the mix civility was a long shot.

I think I’m over that show.

Bravolebrities past & present shouldn’t drink because they turn into a different person: Kelly Bensimone, Lynne Curtain, Joanna Krupa, GG, MJ, Stassi

    Please add to the list.

    Go 49ers!

  7. BB says:

That snippet of Kenya’s song the other night sounded like it came straight from RuPaul’s Drag Race (no offense to RuPaul).

  8. VV says:

I posted this yesterday. I think it’s worth posting it again. This is the original post that Tamara T made on the LynnNChicago website that started her quarrel not only with Lynn but with the commenters. While she’s making it sound we were so evil, so horrible and so heartless to her, I think she is exaggerating. You be the judge. You can scroll up and down to read the before and after comments made.

My intention is that those who where not here when it happened, can read and draw their own conclusion. There were a Total of 708 comments made that day on Lynn’s blog. 40 comments were related to the post that Tamara made by 12 different people including Tamara. Tamara made 12 comments and Lynn 1. The rest are by people still commenting on this blog (except maybe 1 or 2). I for one minute do not believe these posters are evil. It is obvious that only small percentage of comments were dedicated to her. I don’t understand why she’s making a big deal out of a little deal. I have an idea. It’s just plain wrong.
    Rest in Peace Lynn.

    • VV, I was shocked to read what she said about Lynn in the comments of her blog, from the other day. The woman is certifiable.

    • WindyCityWondering says:

Please stop bringing that swill here – TT deserves no hits from us on her miserable blog.

      • VV says:

My intention is not giving her hits. I didn’t link her blog. My intention is for whomever reads her blog (meaning they were already at her blog) and then come here that they read the story as it happened. I understand your concern Windy, I thought about it before posting. There are a lot of lurkers and lies in cyber space about what really happened. We know what happened and that’s why we hardly commented about it yesterday. I know people are lurking this site and that was the intention of putting Lynn’s link here. I hope that makes sense. Didn’t mean to upset you.

        • WindyCityWondering says:

No worries. We know TT was welcomed here and she handled herself poorly. IMHO, how she connected this blog and posters to SH’s current lawsuit is both crass and selfserving.

  9. Did anyone catch Nene on Katie Couric’s show last week? Nene seemed nervous. Not at all calm. IMO she came off really badly, too much “it’s all about me.” She mentioned her sitcom appearances, and the fact that she’s the last original Atlanta housewife left. Maybe Katie made her nervous.

In other reality news, are you all excited that Vinny from the Jersey Shore cast is going to have a talk show? heehee can’t wait. ** Insert both eyes rolling here.

Another reality show that will be must see tv is Southie Rules, about Boston. Can’t wait for that one, sounds like fun. Hope our Boston will give her impressions of it too.

  10. VV says:

    NMD, I don’t think B & J is a publicity stunt.Sadly, it’s real…IMO.

Morning everyone! Its freezing here in Socal, I know its not a big deal for the rest who live in feeling states but 44 degrees is huge for us!! I have Open House in a few hours and staying warm in a Vacant house sucks!! lol.

  12. Good Morning! I hope your Sunday is off to a great start!

Thanks, as always, NMD for the amazing work you do for us with this blog. You are the angel that picked us up when we needed it….we see your wings! 🙂

HilDogAtl – great recaps. You make me chuckle!

And can I just say how stellar everyone here has been? The best way to prove how wrong someone is…..is simply to be the amazing people that you are. Nothing else, Just Be!

A little “Sunday Light” blog for you today! Enjoy!

  13. Iowagirl says:

Thanks Kansas Girl for the link to happy place yesterday. I was up until 3 this morning laughing out loud. What a funny, refreshing web site. My husband kicked me out of the bedroom for laughing so much, I tried to pretend I was coughing ! I was looking at the site again this morning, I have not been in a better mood in weeks.

  14. VV says:

Read Iguana’s blog on B. Disappointing. Nothing we already didn’t know.

    • Cartwheels says:

If it was any other blogger, I would almost believe she didn’t know any better, but for her to mention that Bethenny was offered the spin off because of Jason and owes her succes to him, just tells me that she is only on a hate train with no evidence at all.

Ahe is Jill’s friend, she knows how much Jill was pushing for the spin off to be about both of them, she knows how upset Jill was when Bravo offered the spin off to Bethenny only and all this happened before Jason was ever publicly dating her.

Bethenny would have had the spin off regardless of Jason and I am sure that with Jason or not she was going to become a millionaire with the sale of her cocktail line. Financially she didn’t need Jason, emotionally? well, that is another story.

  15. I’m almost out of cell range. I’m not abandoning my team and still think they can turn it around.

  16. hildogatl says:

Thanks Mardrag, i am glad you enjoy them!

  17. Sasha says:

Hildog, I agree with you on the fake fishing scene. It is painful to watch Kenya try to lead Walter through the “scene” at the fishing hole. It looks like he became frustrated with the bull. I think her twice mention of being butt-naked in the shower was the set up for calling Walter out as being gay. At that point he should have given her the girl, I am just not into you speech. He could have ridden this one out and left her at the alter to get more tv time.

  18. Sasha says:

I tried to deal with this privately(HA) but I just can’t deal with the fact that Phaedra is using the term “Donkey Booty” for that video.

    • Cartwheels says:

LOL, I don’t know what to tell you because Phaedra to me has always been like some sort of cartoonish character, if anybody else would say it, I am sure I would be mad, but being Phaedra, it just doesn’t bother me, just bores me. 😀

  19. AZGirl says:

Still freezing here. Outside temp around 40. That is really cold. NMD I am for the Seahawks. Looking like they may score here soon.

  20. Nancy says:

NMD your team is making a comeback! Very exciting. Only 6 points behind now.

  21. AZGirl says:

OMG they scored twice since my last post!

  22. Nancy says:

    😦 😦 😦 😦 So sorry NMD.

  23. Lulu says:

Hello all!! I hope everyone’s sunday is going well!!!

I don’t understand also why Nene hates the word “grandma?” One day years and years and years from now I look forward to being a grandma! Not this “glam-ma?” it’s like she’s ashamed of it. Which could be given she didn’t even know Bryce knocked someone up 6 months later.

My DH and I were discussing the men of the HW’s. In particular which man is roiding. For sure Joey Gorga is with that slight wisp in his voice and strange facial expressions. Possibly Eddie from RHOA.

  25. Powell says:

Keira Knightly, I mean HilDogAtl I don’t know why the Atlanta ladies can’t get it together w/their blogs. I think it should be mandatory in their contracts that the blogs are done in a certain amount of time after the show airs, of course there are exceptions. I love your take on their blogs.

    • Nancy says:

Kyle still hasn’t written her blog from a week ago. What a coward.

      • Powell says:

Nancy she doesn’t want to get her lashing. As I was watching yesterday I tweeted her how could she let FayeK treat Brandi that way & that she’s a bad host. Yolanda would have never let another guest treat a fellow guest that way. I couldn’t get over Kyle keep saying to Brandi “don’t cry, please don’t cry” & “don’t leave”. That was horrible.

  26. hildogatl says:

You ladiesnare great! What I hate is that bravo allowed a non atlantan to be on the show. At least there was a little reality to it. This is not a true representation of Atlanta in my eyes bc of Kenya. Sad bravo stooped so low. And ftr Ms NMD, I wasn’t rooting for the birds even though I was born and raised, my family even had season tix growing up. Im a college ball girl and loved the pirates aka Tampa Bay Bucs as a kid. Lmao

    • Sasha says:

They thought they were bringing a classy and sane former beauty queen on board and look what they got.

  27. Stacey says:

Love the wallpaper! NMD I feel your pain! So damn close! We of course are used to this kind of heart break here in the great Pacific Northwest but I really thought we had them! I’m in Marysville, did you hear me screaming at my TV? Pretty sure everyone in town did LOL. With such a young team doing so well I think the next few years are gonna be great for all of us Seahawk fans! Up next, Mariners….well, you know thats not gonna go so well either LOL. Come on back Supersonics, we need you!

    • I may have heard you as I drove past. We were coming in from the east side over I-90 and were exactly at the pass for those last 30 seconds (game time) – and the radio kept going in and out. It was painful. I think you’re right – the next few years will be great again – this stuff goes in cycles and it’s been a long dry period.

  28. Beckygrey says:

Porsha doesn’t need a pre-neup. She has secrets on her side. As long as Kordell does right by her she will keep his secret. So I think they will be married for awhile! lol

  29. Powell says:

Ugh everyone. I’m getting a cold. I did have a runny nose for a couple of days last week then I was fine. This afternoon my throat started hurting. I took a Dayquil. I ate dinner. Now I’m in laying down for a bit. I hate this feeling. It’s going to be a rough week. -_-
