Bethenny writing a book about being a single mom – Lisa Hochstein sues over a blog comment – Jill Zarin slams the Kardashian girls – Gossip by NoMoreDrama
Bethenny writing a Book on Being a Single Mom
This is unexpected. RadarOnline is reporting that Bethenny is planning on writing a book about her experiences going through a divorce and being a single mom. “Bethenny has been writing and documenting her feelings in the beginning stages of the divorce. The book will explore the struggles and compromises all single mom face. It will deal with the delicate balancing act that is being a single mom, and the guilt she feels because her daughter Bryn will now come from a broken home, something she never wanted for her little girl.” Has Bethenny forgotten she’s a millionaire with billionaire friends? Bethenny has done lost her mind. Oh wait, that’s Kenya Moore and we’ll get to her later. Of course that’s assuming that the source is even telling the truth.
Please use the word Allegedly when Discussing Lisa Hochstein
I’m only half joking. WTF is wrong with Lisa (allegedly). According to TMZ she’s suing a person who left nasty lies (alleged I suppose since I have no way of knowing if they were lies or not) in the comments section of a news story. What’s next, twitter, facebook comments? Everyone knows that people rant and rave and there are even trolls out there that just put crap in the comments just to cause a reaction. There has to be more to this story than Lisa wasting her time on a lawsuit over one malicious comment, because quite frankly I’d never heard any rumors about her before the TMZ story broke.
Finally Jill Zarin Makes Sense
Jill Zarin tweeted this last night while watching Shahs of Sunset: “Who goes into therapy on TV if they honestly want help? What kind of REAL therapist would do it for a TV show and have a practice left?” She was talking about MJ going into therapy, but it’s a good point, especially with Bravo debuting a new show about therapists next month. Of course, someone had to ask if the tweet was a slam against Bethenny- which Jill denied. And then Simon van Kempen jumped in with: “Me & it helped!” Ah – it feels like old times.
Oh – you were probably thinking I was going to recap the BIG Jill Zarin story. Seems she’s in the news AGAIN, this time for slamming the Kardashians. In a video, Jill is getting her makeup done in prep for going out on the town and starts getting filmed by OK Magazine. The news had just broken about Kim being pregnant and they ask her opinion. Jill says she thinks people are supposed to be married when they have children. She then goes on to say that she’s met the Kardashian girls, likes them, but thinks they set a bad example by having their kids out of wedlock. That it makes it harder for parents to set a good role model when kids idolize these girls and can say – well Kim or Kourtney did it … . She wishes they set a better example. What do you think?
Real Housewives of Atlanta by RamonaCoaster
We are back to the competing bootie video storylines. The lawyer is doing her photo shoot for her donkey bootie video while Kenya is working out with her trainer. Kenya told her trainer that the lawyer didn’t want to pay her and her trainer agrees that no one wants to have a donkey bootie. The lawyer mentions with all the workout videos competing in the marketplace her video cover needs to pop so she is working with a top photographer. I wonder if he is doing this for free. Apollo is also posing in front of the camera. From their poses, I think some people are going to mistake it for a how-to donkey sex video. Kenya wants to focus on the routine and wants to keep working out in the gym until the video is shot so people can see that she is doing it for real.
Cynthia Bailey is at her agency to meet with a pageant planner, Cy. Cynthia got her first break while she was in the pageant world. She didn’t win but she was discovered by one of the judges who was a model scout. Cynthia is looking for talent for her agency. Cy is talking prices – entry fees, photogenic pictures, talent, etc. Cynthia is seeing dollar signs. There’s lots of money to be made doing pageants. Does Honey Boo Boo have an agent yet?
Surprisingly, Kenya invited Porsha to lunch. Kenya is trying to explain her side of the story with the lawyer and addressing what the lawyer has been implying about her. Porsha states the lawyer has nothing to do with the relationship between Kenya and her. Kenya tells her she thinks she’s being the lawyer’s pawn. Porsha doesn’t care and they start arguing. Everyone is looking and getting annoyed. Porsha doesn’t want to indulge in Kenya’s viewpoint. Kenya thinks the lawyer is a liar and Porsha is dumb as rock and they should be best friends. Porsha tells her to not contact her with her ashy shoes. Then she yells “bye ashy, bye ashy.” This meeting turned so quickly into an argument, I don’t think the waiter had time to take their drink orders.
Nene and Gregg are looking for accessories for their home in a really cool home store in Los Angeles. Nene says when Gregg started doing things that Nene didn’t like she divorced him. Now she might marry him again and if he does stuff she doesn’t like, she’ll divorce him again. Nene is interested for the store to redecorate her home. Gregg says bring two pepperoni pizzas tomorrow so they can work with a budget of $300 and says to make it happen. For a second, the sales guy thought he was serious but then started laughing.
Cymthia is meeting with Cy at a space and invited Porsha to help with her pageant. Porsha’s non profit will sponsor the pageant. Cynthia has not lined up any contestants yet for her pageant which is a few weeks away. She has named her pageant Miss Renaissance 2012. Porsha is already making a mistake saying the proceeds are going to the charity. Cynthia states the portion of the proceeds because Cynthia needs to make money too. Porsha loves the crown and the sash. Porsha is the checklist girl and doing most of the work while Porsha would rather just be the assistant. They are all getting overwhelmed and asking if there is a pageant home depot, one stop shopping place.
Kandi is at a Moroccan restaurant with Porsha, Cynthia and Porsha’s girlfriend from high school and some bellydancers. The lawyer arrives late and talks about the donkey bootie video going well. The lawyer tells everyone that she already had other things in the works with the video and she only gave Kenya an opportunity. Poor Kenya doing all that work getting a distribution deal to drop in her lap. Porsha then tells her about the lunch with Kenya and how Kenya wanted to tell her about what was being said about her. Then she tells them how she noticed how ashy Kenya’s feet was. Everyone thinks she’s not taking the high road. Kandi doesn’t get why Porsha keeps going to lunch with the same person she is always arguing with. Porsha is singing at the pageant. She describes her singing voice as a “congloberation” of Mary J Blige, Beyonce and a little bit of Rihanna. After much clearing of the throat and swallowing every drink in sight, she sings one note when the belly dancer makes her entrance. Saved by the bellydancer. All we need is another Kim.
Nene is meeting with her acting coach, Lee. Nene credits Lee with helping her with her character in Glee and The New Normal. Lee has worked with Jennifer Aniston and Diane Lane. Nene felt reading the script that it was written for a white woman. Lee wants to pull out the white woman within her. Her character Rockie is outspoken, smart, sensitive about her gays and fabulous. Lee explains it is important to understand relationships with other characters as a first step. Lee is asking her what Nene’s new normal is. Nene says her new normal is moving out to LA with her divorced husband and being an actress making out with people and getting paid for it.
Cynthia and Kenya are playing at the driving range and their outfits are cute for golf. Cynthia felt it would have been a great situation if the lawyer and Kenya were working together and the lawyer made it seem like she was doing Kenya a favor. Kenya says “like working for free?” Cynthia brings up the talk about Kenya being an alcoholic and having a chemical imbalance. Kenya feels everything is going to a nasty place and her character is being defamed.
Kenya is meeting Miss Lawrence for lunch to talk. She is running out of people to have lunch with. Kenya is making a joke about being an alcoholic and how the lawyer is losing her mind saying crazy stuff about her. Kenya shared the information about her family with the lawyer and now she feels like a jerk. Miss Lawrence shares that he heard the lawyer doesn’t like gays in heels. Kenya states she is a role model and she is going to nip all of it in the bud.
Nene is back in Atlanta at the launch of a shoe for Shoedazzle. Nene decided to give the money the shoes make to charity. It’s nice of her to give back. Cynthia is there to support her. Kandi comments that it is good to get past all of the pettiness. No more Team Talls and Team Smalls. Derek J is there and Porsha. Miss Lawrence and Kenya is on the way to give them a surprise. Kenya shoes up in a big southern hat and a see through black dress with ass cheek pads pretending to be the southern belle Miss Parks. They all are shocked and saying this event is for charity. Like they behave like prim proper ladies all the time (cough).
Nene starts asking what has been going on that she has been missing since she has been in Los Angeles. Kenya then tells her the lawyer has been saying she is bipolar, has a drinking problem and needs some meds. Kenya starts yelling at the lawyer when she states she does have a problem. Porsha and Kandi are laughing and everyone else is looking on. Kandi brings up the stallion bootie video and how it seemed like Kenya was coming for her. It was business and she had a distribution deal in her lap with no video. Kenya then tells her that she shouldn’t do a workout video because her body isn’t all that but she wouldn’t dare say it out loud. She is doing a Miss Parks again. Bravo must love Kenya and the drama she brings.
