LeAnn Rimes: “Eddie doesn’t have an Instagram nor tweet so there”
Facts. Thursday morning there was a twitter account and Instagram account in Eddie Cibrian’s name containing personal photos – mostly of Eddie and LeAnn smootching in mugged shots (on the beach, at parties, etc.). The Instagram was opened a few weeks ago. On twitter, LeAnn Rimes was asked to comment about one of the photos where it appeared that she and Eddie were making fun of Eddie’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville. She claimed he didn’t tweet it and photo was two years old. The “making fun of Brandi” part was the photo caption, that was posted with the photo to Instagram in January 2013. Mid-afternoon Thursday the Instagram account was closed, after a number of blogs wrote about the account. Our blog captured some of the more interesting photos here. Now LeAnn seems to be claiming that Eddie is not active on Instagram or Twitter. That may very well be true. Someone may have been running the accounts under his name. One of the photos posted in yesterday’s blog have a caption that claims that LeAnn and Eddie’s son had “hacked” his account. LeAnn’s response to all this, quite frankly, makes little sense to me. There are a few possible answers, so I’ll let you tell me what you think. Feel free to add other answers in the comments of the blog. I believed you’ll be able to pick more than one answer on this poll if I’ve set it up correctly. I’m going to leave this topic with a deep sigh.

Layana Aguilar, 28, New York, NY (1 Win)
Patricia Michaels, 46, Taos, NM
Richard Hallmarq, 39, Sacramento, CA
Stanley Hudson, 44, West Hollywood, CA
Host and Judge: Heidi Klum
Judges: Zac Posen and Nina Garcia
Mentor: Tim Gunn
Guest Judge: Kristin Davis
The Dream Team has yet to win a challenge and Daniel and Stanley of Keeping it Real think some of their team members are weak even though they’ve won both challenges. Layana won the last challenge so she has immunity for this challenge.
The client for this challenge is Heidi Klum herself. Heidi will be launching a new fragrance named Surprise. She needs things to wear for her upcoming campaign. They will be making options for the print ads and commercials. Heidi is very picky so they will need to rise to the occasion. The fragrance packaging is pink, black and gold. She would like for the designers to stay in that color scheme. Each team has a budget of $1,200 and one day to come up with their looks.
The teams discuss who will be making which looks. Some of the Keeping it Real designers will be partnering up with each other. The Dream Team only has six people left, so they will be working individually. Michelle thinks that may be an advantage. Layana and Kate are working together (they sketch similar looks even though they don’t exactly agree on the colors); Amanda and Joseph are working together (they are total opposites in their design aesthetics); Daniel, Stanley, Patricia and Richard will be working individually.
Matthew is lost. He is not a dress maker and is intimidated making something for Heidi. After Mood, Joseph and Amanda are still trying to figure out what to do and Amanda is freaking out. Cindy is working with a fabric she doesn’t normally use. Patricia is making another pieced together look similar to what she did in the first challenge, but she may have bit off more than she can chew. Joseph and Amanda come up with a design and Amanda is impressed with Joseph’s idea.
Tim comes in and meets with the Dream Team first. Tim is not sure about Benjamin’s design so far; he has a lot of work to do. Tim likes Samantha’s design. Matthew does not like his dress and thinks it’s boring. Tim tells him to go all out. Tim tells Cindy her design will make Heidi too covered up. Michelle thinks Cindy chose terrible fabric and colors. Tim likes Michelle’s look.
Tim gets Joseph and Amanda’s concept. Patricia is using cut leather and Tim thinks it’s incredibly ambitious. Richard, Stanley and Daniel seem very sure of their designs and are well on their way to completion. Tim suggests Daniel change his to a halter look. Kate and Layana explain their look and all of a sudden Layana is unsure of the pink color in their design. Tim points out that the pink is really close to the color on the packaging so he doesn’t see what the problem is. The other team members are worried that Kate and Layana will bring the rest of them down. Kate is not changing anything since Layana has immunity. She thinks Layana needs to make a decision and stick to it. Everyone finally convinces Layana they are on the right track. Stanley’s dress is very bling.
Daniel is missing something on his dress and asks Patricia if he can borrow some of her leather material. She agrees and Daniels says she saved his design. The models come in for their fittings. I think Cindy may be in trouble again. Benjamin seems to be having a lot of self-doubt even though the other designers think his sketches and taste level are very good. Michelle is hammering away at her design and it’s giving the other designers a headache. Patricia is running out of time to finish her textile piece. She’s always trying to be different and this time she may have gotten herself into trouble trying to do too much.
It’s the day of the runway show and everyone is working feverishly to get their designs completed, some more than others. Matthew seems the most stressed. The models show up and some of the designers have to make some last minute adjustments. Matthew thinks Richard’s model looks like she’s pooping ruffles. Cindy says Benjamin is crashing and burning and can’t seem to make a decision about anything. Michelle is happy with her final look and thinks Patricia is a magician when she sees her model. Cindy steps in to help Benjamin even though he doesn’t seem to trust her. Everyone is wrapping Benjamin’s model with leather straps right up until she walks on the runway.
Here they come, ready or not. Keeping it Real is first. Daniel has a liquid jersey halter dress with leather trim. Patricia has a short flowing cut pink leather dress with gold accents on the bottom. I like it. Joseph and Amanda’s dress looks good too. It’s simple but I like the trim up the font and around the shoulders. Richard’s does not like his dress. He says he’s gagging inside and she looks like an exotic chicken. Layana and Kate’s dress has a corset with a flowing bottom and it looks like something Heidi would wear. Stanley has a shiny gold dress with a black strip across the top and shoulder. I think Keeping it Real did a good job.
The Dream Team. Michelle has a very short black dress with a low cut back and metal looking studs around the neck. Matthew’s dress looks a little hoochie mamma to me and he’s not happy. Cindy’s dress is a shiny pink color and doesn’t really fit the model well. It looks a little 80s or 90s to me. nSamatha’s not that happy with her dress. It’s long and black with a pink insert. Benjamin’s dress looks a mess. Michelle tells him it was a really solid idea and that it’s too bad. Tu’s dress is all black with a slit up the front. Not very exciting. Keeping it Real thinks it’s going to be a close call, but I personally liked team Keeping it Real better than the Dream Team. There will be two winners of this challenge and one person will be going home.
Team Keeping it Real wins again, so two people will win from that team. They leave the runway so the judges can talk to The Dream Team first. Matthew, Cindy and Benjamin have the lowest scores this time. Matthew is first. Zac thinks it looks trashy and Heidi wants to know where her whip is. Kristin would die if she had to wear it. Nina says it’s not that hard to dress Heidi but he was intimidated. Heidi tells Cindy just because she put a slit in the dress does not make it sexy. Zac says she chose the wrong fabric and it does not photograph well. Kristin sees what she was trying to do. Kristin likes Benjamin’s dress color but it’s hard to look at the bust line of the dress. Heidi says it’s sad boobs. Nina thinks it’s the worst construction she’s seen and his model looks like she’s been shipwrecked. Benjamin says it was a time-management problem and Zac tells him to slow down on the excuses.
Heidi tells Stanley and Richard they did not have good looks and they are lucky they were on the winning team. Patricia, Kate and Layana, and Daniel have the highest scores.
Nina thinks Patricia’s design would look good on Heidi. They don’t know if it’s that flattering a shape for Heidi but Heidi likes that it’s boxy. It would be a departure for her. Heidi loves the softness and hardness of Layana’s and Kate’s dress. Zac likes the dimensions of it. Nina says it has beautiful movement. Kristin loves the pink in the dress and it looks kind of ballet. Heidi loves the simple lines of Daniel’s dress. Kristin likes that he followed the line of Heidi’s body. Nina says it’s beautiful construction but it’s not her favorite fabric. Zac loves the way he treated the leather, but the flesh color is not his favorite.
Heidi likes Patricia’s dress for press photos. The judges love Kate and Layana’s dress for the ad campaign. Nina thinks there’s something elegant about Daniel’s dress.
Matthew went overboard with his sexual theme. It also didn’t fit perfectly on the model. They don’t like the iridescent fabric of Cindy’s dress. Benjamin’s dress was a train wreck and a horror show. The decisions have been made.
Kate wins the challenge. Heidi will be wearing Kate and Layana’s dress in her ad campaign. Daniel also wins. She will be wearing his dress to the press events even though he designed it for the ad campaign. Patricia doesn’t look very happy as she leaves the runway. Matthew is in and can leave the runway. That leaves Cindy and Benjamin. Cindy is out. She’s been in the bottom three weeks in a row and it’s time for her to go; however, Benjamin had better get his act together or he won’t last much longer either.
I’m really into this season of Project Runway. I thought it might be all drama and cat fights, but it hasn’t turned out that way, so far that is.
Dance Moms: Boys are Cuties, Girls have Cooties
My sincere apologies for a late blog. The cable in our area has been out since mid-afternoon Tuesday. Luckily, my DVR still recorded Dance Moms (isn’t that a miracle?) Without further ado, let’s go.
We start with pyramid. Of course, Abby Lee Miller (ALM) is devastated about the 4th place finish from last week. The girls look sad too. Here’s how it breaks down (starting form bottom):
- Mackenzie – She’s not allowed to perform in the group routine this week.
- Maddie – ALM says ever since nationals, she’s been “shoulder strug”. Kelly says Melissa and Maddie deserve a turn at the bottom because they’ve all been there.
- Paige – Falling back into old patterns/habits.
- Nia – ALM says she’s doing fine, but it won’t make her a star. Side note: My friend called, so I paused the TV on a closeup of Nia. After a while, I noticed she doesn’t wear make-up like the other girls. So refreshing.
- Kendall – Pulled ALM’s eyes in a positive way. Jill is happy because it’s the first time Kendall has been off the bottom row of pyramid.
- Chloe – ALM thought she looked good, but it wasn’t exactly what she was supposed to do. ALM wants her to do it better than she imagined it.
- Nobody – There is a blank piece of paper because no one deserves to be there.
ALM tells Brooke she wasn’t in pyramid because she’s not on the team. Kelly doesn’t understand why they come every week if she’s not going to be in pyramid. ALM asks Brooke if she wants to be at ALDC and Brooke barely nods yes. ALM doesn’t like her lukewarm response. In TH, Kelly says she’s been playing by the rules and has been nice to ALM, but Brooke remains missing from pyramid.
This weekend, the girls are traveling to Voorhees, New Jersey to attend On Stage America (like Lark Voorhies from Saved by the Bell, remember her? No relation, I checked.) They’ll perform a group routine titled “Pink Lemonade”. ALM confirms Brooke will be in the group routine. The girls will be using hats as a prop and ALM says if you drop your hat, you’re off the team. The moms/kids think she is joking. IN TH, ALM says she’s not joking.
Kendall gets a solo titled “Owe you nothing.” Nia gets a solo titled “100 years from now.” Hallelujah! I was beginning to wonder if Nia was around anymore – we’ve seen so little of the cutie this season. Chloe gets the last solo titled “Left in the dark.” It’s contemporary and hard.
During Nia’s solo rehearsal, Holly asks Melissa if ALM apologized to her. The answer is no. In TH, Jill says that ALM wants nothing to do with Melissa. Kelly said she was surprised that Melissa didn’t fight back when ALM was berating her last week. Melissa says it is what it is. In TH, Christi finds it funny that Melissa is trying not to care. Kelly says you didn’t talk back to ALM and Maddie still didn’t get a solo. Melissa decides to walk out saying it’s really none of their concern.
Over to Candy Apples. I was hoping we’d lost them. Cathy says she was too lenient with last year’s team. Since competing against ALM last year, she’s used her resources to create a new team of all boys. And for those of you with a keen eye – yes, that’s Zack from Abby’s Ultimate Competition. She does her own pyramid, but it’s fancy – digital and when the cards turn, we hear the sound of someone biting into an apple. Nice touch, Cathy. I hate to admit it, but it made me smile. Cathy confirms that Zack was on ALM’s other show. A dad objects to the pyramid. Blah Blah.
Back at ALDC group rehearsal, the moms are still talking about Melissa, Maddie, and Mackenzie. Melissa and Holly are in the closet. Holly asks her what she’s going to do. Melissa is torn because her kids love ALM and she doesn’t want to hurt ALM’s feelings. Melissa admits that she regrets standing by Kelly.
At Jill’s house, she’s hired a costume designer. Kendall is very excited. At group rehearsal, ALM stresses that not one person can be off in this routine. In TH, Chloe is worried about dropping her hat and screwing up the competition. Is this foreshadowing?
Next, we treated with a funny scene of Jill babysitting ALM’s dog. In TH, ALM says Jill is the new Melissa because she wants to be helpful (with hand quotes).
During Kendall’s solo rehearsal, Jill tells the moms about the costume designer. I’ve just noticed there’s been no mention of Sophia. The moms are shocked that ALM didn’t design the costume. Christi says Jill will get yelled at. ALM calls the moms to the closet to go over costumes and rhinestones. After assigning Nia’s and Chloe’s costumes, she turns to Jill. She wants Kendall in green. Jill says they’ve already designed a grey costume. ALM doesn’t get upset, but says she doesn’t like people going behind her back. She says that’s the problem she had with Melissa.
During Nia’s solo rehearsal, ALM tells us that Nia keeps saying she’s working on her legs and feet. So, ALM is giving her a lyrical solo to prove it. Meanwhile, Chloe confirms to Christi that she hasn’t learned her solo routine yet. Christi is upset that no one seems to care. Holly thinks it’s a test to see if Christi will react. In TH, Christi says she doesn’t care what Holly thinks because Nia’s solo is done and Chloe’s hasn’t even started. Holly suggests she talk to ALM. Christi says ALM doesn’t talk. Holly says she didn’t mean to imply that Christi fight with her. They go back and forth…. Holly tells Christi that she doesn’t have to get snippy with her. In TH, Holly says Christi has been throwing tantrums lately and she’s not in the mood to deal with it. I’m on Holly’s side here. I love Chloe, but Nia never gets the spotlight. Can Christi be patient for one week to allow another kid to shine? We know Nia needs more help than Chloe.
ALM finds out Cathy is coming to the competition. She tells the moms that can’t be fourth in front of Cathy. Next is Chloe’s solo rehearsal. The moms are showing their costumes and Jill doesn’t have hers. Kelly says ALM wanted them done today – she doesn’t understand how Jill doesn’t have a costume when she was having one made. Jill says it’s because she has to add the green that ALM wants.
During group rehearsal, the moms think the girls are holding back to ensure they don’t lose their hat. ALM is upset that the girls keep dropping them. ALM heads up to the balcony to discuss the situation. The moms think ALM is overreacting.
During Kendall’s solo rehearsal, ALM calls Kendall out for marking. She says if Maddie had a solo, she would do it full-out every time. Back to Candy Apples. Cathy has a new guest choreographer. Does she ever do her own routines? It’s a hip hop routine, called “Own it.”
During group dress rehearsal, ALM is calling out Kendall for everything – including no costume for her solo. ALM decides that Kendall will not be doing her solo because the costume is missing. Kendall starts to cry. Jill says it’s not fair to blame in on Kendall and decides to go home and then give us the quote of the week said to the other moms…. “You’re idiots if you stay and let this women destroy your children.” I have no idea how Jill gives us the best quote each week….but she does. Jill thinks they should all walk out until she apologizes to the children. She walks into the studio and confronts ALM. She says it’s not Kendall’s fault and leaves with Kendall. ALM says Jill should have used an ALDC costume. In TH, snarky Melissa says that Jill didn’t bring a costume, so what did she expect ALM to do? Ugh. I’m back to not liking her.
It’s competition day. Jill and Kendall are in the parking lot trying to decide what to do. In TH, Jill can’t believe that the moms weren’t on her side, especially Kelly after she stood by them earlier this season. Kelly tells Jill that Melissa won’t stand up to ALM again……but confirms she won’t do the same in a TH. Jill talks to ALM on the bus and they work it out. They arrive at the competition to a crowd of fans, but ALM is concentrating on Cathy. In TH, Melissa doesn’t understand why Cathy gets under ALM’s skin because ALDC is so much better. Um, because it makes for good TV? ALM needs a villain too! She can’t shoulder that role alone. Actually, now that I think about it, there are all a little villain-ish. Except Holly.
Cathy arrives. Eye roll. Cathy thinks the entourage of boys will shock ALM. She’s right. ALM calls Cathy a snake and says an all-boys team is the only way Cathy can come close to beating ALDC. ALM tries to hand out shirts and Cathy says they can use them to dust. ALM asks Cathy to not be that way. She does say Cathy is a great teacher, but to girls, not guys. Cathy asks if ALM has a boy dancing today. She says no, but she has lots of boys working professionally and winks at a kid. You know that kid is thinking…I want to dance for ALM and not stupid, crappy, apple lady.
ALM tells the moms/ children about the all-boys team. She rehearses the solos. First up is Nia. The costume looks gorgeous on her. The camera is so tight, we can’t see her legs or feet. ALM says it wasn’t amazing, but she hopes it scores high enough to beat Cathy. Next is Kendall. Her custom costume looks cute, but I like Nia’s better. Again with the tight camera angles. ALM is impressed and thinks she had the judges in the palm of her hand. Finally, we have Chloe in a ragamuffin costume. Again with the tight camera angles. I like it, but I wish it would have been darker. I like the idea of a creepy doll dance. It started creepy, but then went too lyrical for me. I was looking for Sonya Tayeh creepy. Chloe thinks she danced well.
Time for solo awards. Kendall gets 3rd in Junior Solo Division. Chloe and Nia don’t place. ALM is very disappointed. In the dressing room, she says she didn’t pick 3 soloists to not place. She wants them to work hard. She warns them about not dropping a hat during the group routine.
Next are the group routines. The boys are up first. The young kid slides in on his head. I have to admit, it’s pretty awesome. The routine is good but the little one is off for much of the dancing part. He’s awesome at breaking and the judges/crowd are definitely enjoying it. The girls are next….and surprise, Chloe’s hat falls off her head. ALM is UPSET! In TH, Christi feels helpless because she knows ALM will be mad and there’s nothing she can do about it. In the dressing room, she warns Chloe. ALM walks in and screams, “Nice job, Chloe.” Christi decides to leave with Chloe and says she’s not going to make a scene or be humiliated. She tells ALM to replace them. After she leaves, ALM says besides the hat drop, I thought it was good. In TH, Kelly says there is more going on with Christi then ALM yelling about the hat. In TH, ALM says that she will always tell her students what they did wrong. She says if they don’t win…. its Chloe’s fault.
For Junior Advance Small Group awards, the top two teams are separated by 1/10th of a point. The boys get 2nd place and ALDC takes 1st. ALM and the moms are ecstatic. In TH, Kelly says it’s not the same without Christi and Chloe.
Christi is trying to get a cab outside. In TH, she says someone out there is going to think that Chloe has talent. In the dressing room, ALM and the girls celebrate. The last shot is a cab driving away with Christi saying, “I don’t think this is really worth it anymore.”
Next week: it’s a war between Cathy and ALM. No sign of Chloe. See you then!
