Good morning everyone. So glad it’s Friday. The weather is not so good all across the country unfortunately. New Englanders staff safe and warm. Have a great day.

  2. NMHousewife says:

The poll results are funny! 100% for she thinks we’re stupid 😉

Good morning, been MIA work duties trying to get out of town back to Florida before NEMO(what a goofy name for a storm) hits. So far my flight is on schedule and doesn’t look I will have any issues, missing chatting with you guys but have been reading the blogs, wow I think Project Runway needs to design some designer straight jackets as one CrayCrayRimes may be in the market for one. She is truly BSC I loved that NUMEROUS sights are talking about her mental health at this point, someone from her entourage needs an intervention with her stat and a stay at the FunnyFarm is badly needed.

    • LuvMyGals says:

      That’s CrayCraySoStupidSheSitsOnUrinalsRiimes.

Best wishes for a cozy day to those of you in the Northeast.

  6. Good Morning Everybody! Thoughts this morning are with our East Coasters in the storm, and West Coasters with their cop on the loose!

Prayers, Love & Light to all!

Thanks for the blog and heading up to read now, but wanted to get this posted…..

New post, “Through The Storm~Again”, for a bit of help for the east.

  8. BB – thanks for PR recap. I fell asleep before the end and didn’t know who won, LOL! I loved Kate and Layana’s look so I am glad they won. I would totally wear that (if I could!) and definitely see Heidi in it, as well as Daniel’s dress. Beautiful flow on both.

I am really liking this season so far…..I hope it stays on course. 🙂

  9. RealLVhousewife says:

For those of you who like to watch the “Sister Wives”, I thought I’d fill you in on a nice experience that I had with them….
I had the displeasure of shopping in the same Home Goods store as Meri,Robin and Mariah. They were so desperate to be recognized. If I heard one of them call Robin’s name from across the store one more time, I was going to scream! It was like “Don’t you know who’s presence you’re in?” When that didn’t muster up the results they wanted, Mariah took a bongo drum from off the shelf and started pounding on it. How old is this girl? She is extremely immature! She continued with her attention grabbing disruption until her mom told her to knock it off. I’m sure they noticed the glares that they were receiving from other shoppers. Robin is rude as well. She abandoned her shopping cart in the middle of the main aisle and as I tried to squeeze between it and her I politely said “excuse me” to which I received a snobby, up-turned nose, not even acknowledging that she rudely blocked the aisle. Of course I took to FB to bitch about my experience with the sister wives and received replies from many of my friends who had also had the misfortune of running into this family (we live in the same general area)& many have had unpleasant encounters as well.BTW…Meri likes to shop at Old Navy if any of you were curious!! =) I was also informed by one of my friends that while shopping in our Sam’s club, one of Christine’s young daughters ran their cart into her. Did she receive and apology? Hell no…She got herself a dirty look from mom! These are not the kind considerate people that they would want you to believe. If I never run into them again, it will be too soon!!

    • NMHousewife says:

Thanks for sharing. I’m surprised but yet not that surprised. Interesting that others have had similar experiences as well.

    • AZGirl says:

Thank you RealLVHousewife for filling us in!

    • pat says:

I watched most of the last season, and supposedly they have moved into their four mcmansions, and TLC is filming them there for a new season. I’m very curious how they are being received by their neighbors, in this supposedly very small, gated community. I can’t believe they are allowing film crews in. Can you imagine spending half a mil to live in a gated community, and your neighbors are the Browns, with their 17 kids and counting? Yikes.

      • RealLVhousewife says:

I was actually surprised how they had behaved as well and when I heard others had the same experience, I was disgusted. I also happened to see them moving into the McMansions right around Christmas. It is an extremely small gated community and I had the same thought as you….The poor neighbors!!

        • Catseye says:

There’s a site called Sister Wives Blog and they had some pics that I think a reader made of their ensignia on the sh!t they are selling on sisterwivescloset. One of the drawings (in mockery of a sort of pawprint logo on their aprons) looks like a child’s hand reaching out for coins!!! HIlarious. And another is the hand with middle finger extended, in honor of Meri’s lust for a wetbar in the new house she bought. Very funny stuff and comments over there.

    • Kitkat says:

Thanks for posting that RLV! Ugh. Not surprised. I’m love to hate that show. They kind of remind me of “real housewive” in the way they are very desperate to show a certain fascade that is in no way real. Phony. Can’t stand phony.

  10. Orson says:

Maybe LR shut down Eddie’s Twitter account to make it harder for him to hook up with his next mistress?

  11. Rebecca says:

Since when do Eddie and Leann have a son to hack into an account?

This woman needs a mental ward STAT, before she hurts someone.

    • designernailsdiana says:

Rebecca the son is Eddie’s with Brandi. LR calls herself the Bonus Mom. BM should be Bowel-movement Mom.

      • Kansas Girl says:

And he’s like 9, isn’t he? not too likely he’d hack into his dad’s account and post those photos. I’m surprised Brandi hasn’t protested this.

        • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

On the photo of LR and Eddie’s son-she commented that they both “hacked” his account. Hacking someones Instagram is really not something to protest. Not taking LR’s side but my girls are always taking pics with my phone and they both know how to use Instagram. The picture of LR and Brandi’s son is not questionable,I don’t think-just more self promotion from LR
If I leave my Facebook opened when my nieces are over they always change my status to something funny like claiming I love them the most or whatever…this is harmless but still we call it “hacking”-

    • LaineyLainey says:

maybe she means…hijack…? temporarily taken over by someone else?

  12. Stars99 says:

Okay, you’re gonna hafta forgive me because I’m horrible with names on these shows… but on Project Runway… the girl that won last week and was part of the team this week – I really haven’t liked how she’s acted… last week, she took all the credit for the look… when mustached guy really, really not only helped her out but saved her lil dupa – and she said NOTHING about it – at least nothing that we saw. Then this week, she whined and complained ad nauseam about the color.. to anyone and everyone who would listen… and was very quick to throw her partner under the bus to the judges – that is until the judges said they liked the color… I dunno, I just think something is not right about it…

Thanks so much for your blogs, BB and Adelaide’s Mommy – You guys are so great about describing what happened… so I can tell what goes on without actually having to watch (I can’t watch Dance Moms… I just can’t)… And NMD… I’m not sure how you stay sane trying to keep up with everyone’s antics in celebrityland… but I’m glad you do… = )

    • BB says:

Stars99. I would like to see how she does on her own. Seems like she may be one of those who is benefitting from the “team” aspect so far.

    • trudie says:

I was going to comment about her too. Don’tt like her attitude.

I also wonder why Cindy was chosen to be on the show. Nothing she produced prior to being sent home seemed to be the kind of designs that would keep her on the show long term. And, for all of Benjamin’s arrogance, he has been on the bottom often. I was glad when Zac Posen told him to stop making excuses.

    • princesspindy says:

She was trying to grab immunity this time and I would have LOST IT, if they had fallen for that. She is spoiled and self centered. I love the dress that won, which is unusual for me, lol! I like that they are showing the designs a little bit longer on the runway this time, I can’t believe that Ben didn’t go home. They just wanted to get rid of Cindy….ageism!!!!

      • BB says:

Old or not, Cindy had to go. She just didn’t belong there. Benjamin needs to stop psyching himself out and do what I think he may be capable of.

        • princesspindy says:

She looks just like a friend of mine so I had a soft spot for her…..but yes, she chose poorly. Fabric is your friend and you need to let it speak to you…. I have a fabric fetish, lol… I collect it and just can’t pass up a beautiful piece of fabric, I will buy 2 or 3 yards… I can make anything with 2 or 3 yards, ha!!

          • Kansas Girl says:

Me too! I used to sew shirts with no pattern.

            • princesspindy says:

Well, come on over, we are starting the Comic Con push… We just wrote the list of costumes and what needs to be fixed, added and made…..Fortunately Assasins Creed was push to next year… So Lord of The Rings it is! We will probably start sewing next week after I am done with this flu!!!

      • LaineyLainey says:

I agree…ageism! She made them all uncomfortable.

    • LaineyLainey says:

Hi Starsy – That girl gets on my last nerve, too. I don’t trust her. But I loved her partner and admired her patience. Loving Daniel – – he’s an Austin guy, so we are rooting for him. and by “we”, I mean “me” as I’m the only one who watches PR in my house.

  13. boston02127 says:

Regarding the pic’s. The one with LeAnn is sitting on a man’s uranial is really grosss. I don’t know if anyone knows how DISCUSTING those are. I use to do cleaning at a bagle place and had to clean the bathrooms. They are revolting. And I had big gloves.

  14. Kansas Girl says:

Heather of OC sold her house, according to Realestalker. http://realestalker.blogspot.com/2013/02/a-real-housewife-quietly-unloads-oc.html

    • boston02127 says:

Yes, I know. I forgot to tell you guys that I bought a little house.

    • boston02127 says:

I wonder if her husband has lost money (clients) since being on OC?

    • Orson says:

This is the house they had to sell because they needed one with another bedroom?

    • princesspindy says:

So her “good friend” Tamara was the real estate agent, of course…..??

      • LaineyLainey says:

I think that scene was just a another fake moment set up for the T.V. – to show Tamra as a working woman…I don’t think it was her listing. I could be wrong, but I’ve read stuff.

        • princesspindy says:

oh yeah, cuz if you look on the map, the vacant lot was right next door to Heather’s house… Heather would NEVER have Tamara as her real estate agent, lol

          • LaineyLainey says:

True, and if you look at TamTam and her history on the show…she is not a working woman. Remember when she would say that she stayed home to take care of the kids and then in her exhubby’s talking head, or maybe it was a scene in the kitchen…it was made very clear that it was Simon who awakened the kids, fed them, got them ready for school, took them to school and then came back home to fix her coffee. Love those whipped men!!! I wish I had one!! LOL!!

  15. vilzvet says:

We are getting the full blizzard here on Long Island by 9 tonight. Right now it is snowing and getting stronger. Have pulled pork going in the slow cooker, and all 8 years of Family Ties being watched, heheh. Good memories. Kids on the way home from school, they did the full day, we couldn’t afford to even do an early release here since the last storm. Just hope we don’t lose power, that would stink.

    • BB says:

I’m keeping my fingers cross that everyone’s power stays on!

    • Kansas Girl says:

Check in as it progresses! Pulled pork sounds great and I bet your house smells wonderful! That’s a LOT of Family Ties! LOL! I once watched all of Faulty Towers in one sitting. I no longer find it all that funny — by the 3rd episode it was getting tiresome!

Probably good to have the kids busy in school all day so they didn’t worry and the parents knew where they were and could prepare. Sounds like the very best arrangement.

      keep warm!

      • vilzvet says:

Well now I’m worried ’cause my dh is not home yet, he went to fix a boiler and he definitely should have been home by now. The roads look horrendous now, snow falling 2 inches per hour, we should top out at one foot at least.

        • BB says:

I hope he makes it home safe and soon vilzvet.

        • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

vilzvet-he is probably having to drive slow-I hope he gets home soon!!!

        • Kansas Girl says:

          Is he home yet?

          • vilzvet says:

He got home finally, a 40 minute trip took 2 hours. Oh well. Thanks for asking. We’re getting slammed right now. Just hoping we don’t lose power and have to deal with the generator (I hated that sound we had to live with during Sandy, they’re so loud).

            • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Oh glad he is home safe!!
The sound of the generator…my neighbor-who is not a nice person-had a giant generator during Sandy and never even offered anyone a chance to charge a phone or anything-he ran it day and night and you could hear around the block!!! We had 2 very small ones-loud as hell and only lit a lamp and charged my cell phone. I never want to hear the sound again!!!

            • Kansas Girl says:

Glad he’s home. How deep is the snow now?

              • vilzvet says:

It’s hard to tell now (11 p.m.) but it will continue all night supposedly and there’s definitely a foot out there. Still have power though! I don’t think much will be going tomorrow like places being open but lots of snow blowing!

  16. RealLVhousewife says:

On Investigation Discovery, they are doing a story on Nicole Simpson right now. They give a lovely a description of Faye Resnick….If you get a chance try to catch it! =)

    • designernailsdiana says:

Dang job interfers with my tv viewing.

    • BB says:

I watched. So Glen Rogers’ brother and others think he killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. It’s possible based on all the “clues” and information they’ve uncovered.

      • T-Rex says:

BB I have always thought Glen Rogers was involved, he is also the murderer of a woman here in Florida and the wounds sustained by this woman were almost identical to the wounds found on Nicole Simpson, they both had a similar build and blonde hair. The woman he killed he is convicted of also had very similar wounds, there is was item that had been removed on all of these women, not going into too graphic detail but it was odd all 3 women had this done in addition to other very strategic cuts. Now, that being said, do I think OJ was with him, or paid him to do the deed, that is something to consider.

        • BB says:

It was said that (allegedly) OJ paid him to go into her house and steal some earrings supposedly worth $20,000 and allegedly told him to kill her if he had to. Also, Rogers sent his mom an Angel pin with a diamond in it and told her to wear it to his trial for the women he killed. Allegedly Nicole collected angels. He lived and worked very near where Nicole lived when she was killed.

    • Kansas Girl says:

Summarize??? For those of us who don’t get ID tv. Pretty please?

  17. SCGirl says:

What kind of self respecting man sits by and allows a woman to carry on and on and on with some crazy obsession over the ex wife for what, 3 or 4 years now?I hope Eddie wasn’t ever planning on acting again….Hollywood wouldn’t touch him with a 20 foot pole. Guess he’s decided to throw his career in the garbage over Leann Rimes. I’m rather amazed that the thrill of their little scandal hasn’t worn off Eddie yet…he must be BSC too…..

    • hendricks says:

The funniest thing is he’s now going to be known as Brandi Glanville’s ex-husband, now that Brandi has come in to her own and is no longer just Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife.

      • pat says:

Yes, and Leann will be better known as Brandi Glanville’s stalker, instead of the child-phenom country music star she once was.

      • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Hollywood doesn’t care about this crap-it Hollywood only hired actor and actress that didn’t cheat on their spouses or that didn’t marry a crazy person-we would have no movies or TV shows to watch.
All of this drama is supposed to make believe this is all happening before our eyes-like we are right beside them??. It is so manufactured-by book agents and PR teams. It doesn’t matter if we are talking about LR and calling her crazy-as long as her name is out and associated with Brandi’s book-every body is happy. Both sides are putting out so much old stuff and recycled stories to promote themselves…and we are all drinking the Kool-aid now, meanwhile their wallets are getting fatter by the minute.
If LR were really as crazy as everyone thinks-I would hope that Brandi wouldn’t just Tweet about and call her friends at US weekly. Who in their right mind wouldn’t hire a lawyer or call CPS or do ANYTHING? I cant see a mother putting their kids in a situation where they are not safe and ONLY bitching about it on Twitter….right? If they were really in danger-wouldn’t she be doing every and anything to keep them away from her?

        • jezzibel says:

Hollyweird might not care about that kind of crap, but the public is less forgiving, case in point Brangelina..tabloid darlings they maybe, but their box office poison. The british actress who humped on a Getty heir(who had a wife and 4 kids) both their careers have hit the stall button(Sienna Miller..took me a minute to remember her name). SO what may be acceptable practice in LaLa land is felt in the pocket book, by us plebs who have a problem with stuff like that, and the normal person’s displeasure with actors and actresses who flaunt their lack of morals has been noticed by studios and producers, backers, because they seem to get hired less and less.

          • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

I dont Brad & Angelina are box office poison-people go to their movies-even though she is a ‘home wrecker”…people want to care but in the end-they forget and go to the movies.

        • Realhousewifeva says:

Your kids step mom could be crazy without it being cps level of crazy. Brandi always says the boys love Leann, Leann is great with the boys. She literally wants to be Brandi and be their real mom. It’s Brandi she is cookoo over. Cps won’t do a damn thing. Gimme a break

    • princesspindy says:

A man whose wife has a net worth of $38 million dollars….

      • pat says:

In the same way that I now look at Eddie and don’t see a handsome guy, I see a slimy, amoral douche, I no longer care for Leann’s singing voice. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. Sounds like she’s trying too hard, and over-performing, and I just don’t care to hear it.

        • princesspindy says:

I was surprised that she had so much money, I am not into country music so I don’t know about her…. I know she had big hits, but you hear about so many artists that run thru their money….I just think the whole thing is sad and the ones that are going to have to deal with it are the kids. I was 18 when my dad left and they use to have his wife write the checks to my mom and she would put stuff in the memo and it was horrible for my mom…. I can’t imagine the shit they do to Brandi, but it is the kids that suffer…. It’s all bullsh*t!!! They all need to grow up!! I’m not going to tell Brandi to get over, cuz I don’t know that you do “get over” that kind of betrayal but she needs to stop bleeding all over the place and suck it up and be an adult. FOR THE CHILLLLDDRRREEENNN!!!

      • jezzibel says:

He’ll be more than happy to help her spend that loot, and when she is not as rich he’ll dump her and throw her under the bus when he does it.

    • T-Rex says:

No, he is a no-talent actor with only his looks, and looks are a dime a dozen, who can’t get work and so he has to live off his wife, BSCCrayCrayRimes, he can’t go anywhere until a better “meal” ticket comes along or he will be living in his car, he has no money, no job, and no prospects, what a catch, not.

      • BB says:

I don’t think a better meal ticket will be coming along for Eddie. And I think LR will put up with whatever he does to “keep her man.”

      • jezzibel says:

lack of talent, beyond being just another handsome actor.

  18. VV says:

The Urinal Singer started tweeting again.

  19. If it interested in the deets on LeAnn, I’ve been updating the post since January. It’s on the front page of mychoppingblock.Wordpress.com update 2 and 3 are the recents
    LV HW,
Lol why am I not surprised about your incident with the sister wives ..

  20. Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

It is snowing like crazy!! Nemo is packing a nice punch. I have not stopped snacking since I woke up…blizzards make me very hungry!!!!

  21. Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Please cross your fingers that I don’t loose power tonight…I don’t want to deal with that again. Especially since its freezing now!!!

    • Nancy says:

Fingers crossed Jill. My bff just called and she has 12- 5th graders in her living room right now due to the shools being closed. She’s going crazy! LOL (she only “owns”
      one of them.)

      • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Thanks Nancy-how is sis doing today?
I have one 1st grader and one 7th grader home with me all day and I’m going crazy….your poor friend-I feel for her!!!!

        • Nancy says:

My sister was just diagnosed with a bleeding disorder called D-dimer. Her cardiologist thinks that a clot caused her heart to go into atrial flutter. She’s still hospitalized.
Our family has a strong history of bleeding problems. 😦

What are your kids up to? Do they play together?

          • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

my girls are a little too far apart to play together-but they do read together or watch a movie together. My older one is 12 and she is in the midst of tween-land (serious and mature acting)- my youngest is 6 and silly as hell so they are like night and day. Maggie(6) drives me crazy b/c she swears my job is to entertain her all day-Annabelle can go off to her room and read or watch a movie.
I hope your Sis doesnt have to stay in the hospital for long-I have never heard of D-dimer.

            • Nancy says:

My nieces are far apart in age as well. The younger one would get her feelings so hurt because her older sister didn’t want anythig to do with her. It was so sad to watch.
They are both grown up now and are very close.

BTW has Maggie had any other problems with that boy at school?

              • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Maggie and the boy are back to being friends. I think the mother has realized that they are friends and sometimes you gotta butt out. Maggie’s teacher had a great handle on the whole thing. I think after she talked to the Mom and made her understand that 1st graders are still learning how to be friends and what boundaries are-she backed off. Maggie is so happy things are “back to normal”….so am I!!!

                • Nancy says:

How sweet. I agree, parents need to step back at times. (IMHO)
Mind you I don’t have any children that don’t walk on four paws.
I’m glad they are friends again.
Too bad our Housewives couldn’t learn from them, eh?

    • VV says:

      Fingers crossed 😀

Thanks to All of you for prayers, well wishing, and good thoughts… I’m exhausted now so See you all Tomorrow 🙂

  24. Nancy says:

I hope you are ok. 🙂

  25. boston02127 says:

Pretty snow pic’s. (near the Boston Common)

  26. KTinCT says:

Hope everyone is doing well with the weather, it’s been snowing sideways here in CT all day and isn’t close to letting up. I look outside and it’s a total white-out, I can’t even see our car in the driveway from my kitchen window (maybe 35-40 feet) but I do know it’s buried. Hopefully, the power doesn’t go out and the snow stops early enough tomorrow (latest report is it will stop between 12:00 and 2:00 pm) so that I can take Maggie sledding at the park 🙂

    • vilzvet says:

We are told to expect 18 to 24 inches.

      • KTinCT says:

Yup, vilzvet, that is what it’s looking like but now we are also getting thunder and lightning along with the snow…. the lightning actually looks really cool against the snow

        • Pghemtchick says:

Stay safe gals! Ohh thunder snow! I love it. We had it last year for the first time in my life. It was so beautiful!

  27. boston02127 says:

If you HAD to drive cross country from Maine to California with one of the listed housewives, who would you choose?

    • Nancy says:

I think I would jump out of a moving car with any of them. You?

    • L.A. Chica says:

From Jill and Kelly I’d know what to expect, but what is Tamra like? Until I know more about her I’d {holds breath} choose Jill. Why? Because that way I’d at least be pretty sure we’d stay in some decent hotels along the way.

    • Beckygrey says:

Jill is jealous and clingy . Tamra is trash and not interesting. Kelly is an airhead. I am afraid to say that I would pick Jill. At one time, I think that Jill was cool and caring. I think she just got lost in translation. She allowed her pride stop her from saying to her friend that she was sorry…So I think I would rather her then the other two.

Sorry to have been largely MIA in posting, just been so busy, but I’ve been enjoying reading the blogs and comments.

I hope we hear from Diva soon and with good news about a new job. Ice, I’m so happy for your son that he’s getting his injury treated!

East coasters, stay safe and warm – am sending you all good thoughts through this oddly named storm. And those of us on the west coast, I hope everyone is safe from the renegade cop. 😦

Speaking of which, I read the manifesto and so much of what he complained about rings very true, but why he thinks it’s his job to exact revenge and be a twisted vigilante is equally disturbing. It reminds me in a way of a comic book villain type of story, where the once good-guy experiences a series of devastating and traumatic incidents that bring him to the point of snapping, turning him into a bad-guy hellbent on vengeance. Imho, this is a deeply troubling story on many levels.

I hear he’s in Big Bear.

      • L.A. Chica says:

Yeah, that’s what I read, too. I hope he doesn’t hurt anyone up there! I’m kind of late coming into this awful news due to travel, but who are the people he killed?

        • Nancy says:

I think they were somehow connected to the police department.

          • L.A. Chica says:

The couple was the daughter of the man who represented Dorner in his complaint case, and her fiancé. It sounds like the cops were just random Riverside policemen stopped at a red light while in their patrol car. All innocent victims. 😦

    • Catseye says:

I AGREE about what a tragedy this is, on so many levels. What this guy doesn’t realize is that there IS KARMA, alive and well. In all of the instances that he listed in his manifesto, of all of the injustices, KARMA WILL PREVAIL. We all reap what we sow.

      • L.A. Chica says:

Exactly, Catseye. That’s what I mean about him being so wrong in taking on vengeance as if it’s his right to mete it out. It’s not. It’s not anyone’s right. And iirc, he has no spiritual beliefs (not necessarily religious, just nothing spiritual for lack of a better word) so I don’t think the concept of karma is one that registers with him.

oHoo This T-Rex made it out of Philly airport finally tonight, delays, cancellations and finally moved to an entirely different airline that had a new plane and gave me a great seat thank you US Airways, so happy to be back in Florida. Oh and with the move to a direct flight got home an hour earlier since oriWoginal flight had a layover. Oh and Bonus my luggage managed to miraculously also arrive with me, kudos to the baggage handlers for both airlines, I bet they are hating life today with all the changes happening and folks being transferred to different flights and airlines everywhere, and THANKS to all air personnel at Philly airport for their patience with the craziness that was going on today there

  32. T-Rex says:

Okay maybe I am just tired and such from the day and watching the Sniper story, and it’s tragic, I feel for the families of those who were killed, and nothing can bring them back. However a lot of movies that have this kind of storyline are famous, just sayin. Again great condolences to those families affected in this case

Time to start the shoveling-about 10 inches of snow…It seems that my husband is always working on “clean up” day.
Long Islanders-I hope you are all safe at home-I see there are over a hundred cars stuck on the LIE making it very hard to clear the roads.
Boston is still getting over an inch of snow an hour-and it wont be stopping for another 3 or 4 hours-be safe up there!!!
CT. has gotten hit hard also but it seems to have stopped snowing at least.

    • vilzvet says:

25 inches! I believe it, just took pictures of my deck. I luckily have a back downstairs entrance that had NO snow at all blocking it, so my dogs were able to get out and do their business. But they couldn’t go far heheh. Up 3 stairs and then had to struggle. I do know one man who is stuck in one of those cars, poor guy. He tried driving from NYC to his home out here last night, crazy. He should have left a LOT sooner. He is still not home.

    • It looks bad out on the east end of Long Island, CT, and especially up there in Boston. Three feet of snow, wow! I’m watching CNN to see if they give an update on Cape Cod. Last night, my sister said they closed down all the roads at 4 pm, $500 fine if the police caught you. Her husband had to stay in a hotel, as he couldn’t get home plus he’s working today – he’s a pharmacist. Luckily the company is paying for that. She said the winds were really bad on the cape, blowing the snow so you couldn’t see anything. Plus they had icy rain first, then snow so it was very dangerous.

Oh dear, just called my sister on her cell, power is out 😦

For all of you dealing with this storm stay warm & praying they get the electricity back soon.

    • Kansas Girl says:

I’m thinking of you all, digging out. 10″ is bad enough to shovel, but when it goes on to 3′, that’s a lot of snow to shift. Be careful! I’m wondering how Butterisafruit is doing, as she’s on the Cape.

Jill, my retired fireman friend STILL keeps track of shifts, after 4 years of retirement. I suspect the days he feels best are his work days, and that the schedule is still affecting his internal clock.

      • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:

Kansas Girl…once a Fireman always a Fireman!! Kevin has been on for 24 hrs. and he is the Chauffeur so he had to drive the NYC streets in this crap. At least he can pull into the driveway when he gets home tonight and there will be no snow for hm to shovel!!

  34. Just Wondering in NJ, how are you doing today? That restaurant you mentioned sounds good. 🙂

    • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

I’m glad you saw my note Bluesky. It is a very good restaurant. I like it even better than Rasoi which used to be my favorite.

I’m pretty much snowed in. Had trouble opening the storm door because of the snow on the stoop. It’s definitely too much for me to shovel and much more than the 2.1″ I reported last night.

  35. California35 says:

    Good morning,
I am reading about the storms and snow, and I am hoping you all are fine. Tank care , for the rest of you, it’s cold here in California and I keep wondering if this season has been colder for the whole country. More rain, more snow, etc.

    • mrspeabody says:

Doesn’t really seem that different than usual up here in western washington. Looks a bit cold but no rain, no snow so I guess we’re lucky.
