Melissa Gorga denies Cheating Allegations / Project Runway Recap / Shahs of Sunset Recap

Melissa Gorga denies all the Cheating, Financial Trouble Rumors and Other Housewife Updates by NoMoreDrama

From Melissa’s Twitter Feed: “I’ve been so busy partying, cheating, stripping and borrowing money. I’m exhausted!! What’s next? I robbed a bank? #AllLies

I’ve got to say, I haven’t been impressed with the accuracy of the press coverage of the Bryan “Bulldog” story.  If you believe the various articles, they’ve got him appearing on the show, having an affair with Melissa while she was married, and a whole lot of other things.  Bryan has called RadarOnline’s story about his appearance on the next season of the show completely untrue, and even gone to Rumorfix to say he hasn’t decided what he’s doing yet, and the Life and Style story has an unnamed source talking about an alleged affair.  Unless I see Bulldog quoted directly, or unless he retweets a link to a story (showing his support for it) I’m not going to believe a word.  He has stated definitively that he hasn’t agreed (yet) to film for the show.

Rumors are swirling that Ramona Singer‘s husband wants her to give up housewives.  It all stems from RealityTea misreading a tweet.

Someone on twitter tweeted this to Ramona: “@ramonasinger My husband wants me to give up@bravotv !!!”

Ramona retweeted part of the tweet and added – “no way, right BravoAndy.”  Be careful when you read the tabloids – people are getting sloppier and sloppier with the information. If is seems fishy – it probably is.

Below is the confusing tweet:  @bravobrunette@ramonasinger My husband wants me to give up@bravotv !!!” Rt no way ! rite @bravoandy?!?”

Meanwhile no news yet on filming for Bravo, but Ramona and Alex McCord had front row seats at the ZangToi fashion show for Fashion Week.

Project Runway “The Ultimate Hard and Soft” by BB

Last episode Cindy Marlatt of The Dream Team was eliminated.

The 13 remaining designers are: The Dream Team: Benjamin Mach, 35, Sydney, AUS; Matthew Arthur, 30, New Orleans, LA; Michelle Lesniak Franklin, 34, Portland, OR; Samantha Black, 28, Brooklyn, NY; and

Tu Suthiwat Natchat, 26, Springfield, VA

Team Keeping It Real: Daniel Esquivel, 48, Austin, TX (2 Wins); Amanda Valentine, 31, Nashville, TN; Joseph Aaron Segal, 30, Providence, RI; Kate Pankoke, 23, Chicago, IL (1 Win); Layana Aguilar, 28, New York, NY (1 Win); Patricia Michaels, 46, Taos, NM; Richard Hallmarq, 39, Sacramento, CA; and Stanley Hudson, 44, West Hollywood, CA

Host and Judge: Heidi Klum; Judges: Zac Posen and Nina Garcia; Mentor: Tim Gunn; Guest Judges: Bette Midler and fashion blogger Leandra Medine

The Dream Team has lost all three challenges so far. Amanda feels like she needs to have a little more fun with it. Kate feels her win helped her remember who she is. Benjamin says he needs to rethink his game plan (I agree). The teams are thinking there may be a shake-up coming. They meet with Tim in the work room which is illuminated with candles and it smells delicious. Glade has provided the candles and they each contain two scents which is a clue to the challenge. Tim mentions a former favorite challenge of his where the materials were from a flower shop. Heidi comes in and says she likes the hardware store. Each team will have to make 6 looks and the line must be cohesive and contain materials from the florist and hardware stores.

Epi 4 Photo 2Epi 4 Photo 3Tim says he’s concerned about equity between the teams. The Dream Team gets to choose two members from Keeping it Real to come over to their ranks. They get together and talk about it. Benjamin wants Stanley while others want Daniel. They pick Stanley. Out of the women, they eliminate Patricia from the get go. They choose Layana. Now Keeping it Real gets to pick a Dream Team member. They choose Michelle. Michelle is not happy to be working with Patricia, but if I were her, I would be ecstatic to be going over to Keeping it Real.

Each team gets $2,500 and they have two days for the challenge. They get together to decide who is going to do all flowers, all hardware or a mixture of both. Stanley and Layana kind of take over the leadership of the Dream Team as they come up with ideas. They decide on the concept of Christian Dior 1950’s chic.
Epi 4 Photo 1Kate from Keeping It Real wants to work solo this time. Joseph wants to do garlands with attached flowers. Joseph is always “out there” with his ideas, but so far, I’ve liked what he ended up with. That could be because he has always been paired with someone else. Michelle and Richard pair together because they both want to do a high collared look. But then Michelle gets a little worried when Richard starts talking about ideas like RuPaul meets Gilligan’s Island. She thinks if they get into the bottom two, she will be the one going because she’s been on the losing team so far. Amanda wants to do a total hardware look.

From what I’m heard so far, the Dream Team is talking cohesively where Keeping It Real seems to be thinking more individually. They go to the hardware store first where Samantha is thinking she’ll get most of her materials because she’s not too flowery. Michelle likes Richard’s energy, but thinks she may have to push the edit button with him. At the florist, the Dream Team works on the color scheme to make their line more cohesive. Joseph goes for the more weird looking flowers of course. Amanda is working on moss for her dress, but it keeps flaking off. She has to come up with something to keep the moss together. Richard and Michelle’s original design is falling apart and they are in a designers’ block. Michelle is worried. Kate is prepared to bleed for her look as she works with chicken wire. Benjamin is weaving his own fabric and Michelle thinks he’s digging his own grave. Mathew is going to be really angry if Benjamin messes this up because he got too ambitious. Stanley is worried most about Samantha on his team. At the end of day one, Richard and Michelle regroup and like how their look is starting to come together.

Samantha has a cool lattice look for the top of her dress, but she’s getting stressed about what she’s going to do to the rest of it. Joe is making a net-like fabric that he is going to drape flowers on. Michelle thinks his dress so far looks like it’s made for a sea hag. All of a sudden Daniel realizes their line is not cohesive at all. I could have told them that from the beginning. Now they are trying to come up with a story to pull it all together. I think the judges will see right through that one.

Tim comes in to check on the progress. Tim is blown away by Michelle and Richards’s look. Tim tells Joe his model is going to be huge, but Joe has no problem with it at all. Tim is channeling the judges and is worried about Joe’s look. Tim tells Amanda to make sure she fills in the bald spots on her moss dress. Tim tells Kate her look is going in the craft project direction. She has immunity but needs to do something good for her team. Tim sees right away there is no cohesion to Keeping it Real. They are trying to come up with a theme. Michelle comes up with a history of fashion of the decades. Tim tells them it might work.

Next Tim comes over to The Dream Team. He likes Layana’s look. Tim tells Stanley to be aware of time constraints for his. Tim can’t believe Benjamin actually built a loom for his design. Tim doesn’t want to be a gloomy gus, but he’s worried about Samantha not finishing on time. She has a panicked look on her face. Tim leaves the room hugely inspired.

The models arrive for their fittings. Michelle and Richard are happy with their look on the model. Kate warns her model about how scary her dress is underneath (chicken wire). Joe can’t tell if his look is too weird or not. It’s bulky, but he doesn’t think everything has to have a tight fit. Amanda has ended up with a dress that looks like astro-turf. Patricia is telling her she told her so. Michelle is saying Patricia is not helping at this point by saying I told you so. Suddenly Keeping It Real is worried about Amanda’s dress dragging their whole team down. It’s one hour until the end of the day and Amanda is stuck but doesn’t want to start over. Guess who comes to the rescue – Joe! He comes up with a solution to Amanda’s problem. Day two is over and Amanda is still afraid her astro-turf dress is going to fly off in chunks and land on Nina! Michelle hopes she’s not a bad luck charm for Making it Real.

Runway day. Layana tells Samantha she dreamt about her dress the night before; it looks sloppy and she wants to help her with it. Samantha is not going to listen to Layana because she’s seen designers not be true to themselves and then be sorry for it. Kate thinks her model looks like a cupcake and doesn’t look like a craft project, even though it is kind of a craft project.

Keeping it Real still doesn’t have a cohesive line. As Michelle said, each design looks like it was made by someone from a different planet. They should be hoping their fashions through the decades idea goes over with the judges. Daniel thinks the other team (Dream Team) looks great. The teams are totally opposite from each other. Dream Team is pretty and whimsical and Team Keeping It Real is more over the top and out there. This should make it easy for the judges to decide which team wins.

Here we go (again). I think this time I’m just going to say like or don’t like and then see if the judges agree with me. First, keeping it real. Daniel – not a favorite of mine this time. Joe – the dress doesn’t flatter the model, but he knew it wouldn’t. Richard and Michelle – Very cool look. Like it. Patricia – She likes it, I’m not sure I do. It’s messy. As much trouble as Amanda had, I ended up liking her astro-turf dress. And I like Kate’s dress even if it does look like a big cupcake. The line is definitely not cohesive though.

Epi 4 Photo 5 Epi 4 Photo 6 Epi 4 Photo 7

Epi 4 Photo 8Dream Team time. Mathew – I really like his look. Stanley’s dress is very pretty also. Kind of like a parade float but in a good way. I also like Tu’s dress. Even Benjamin’s dress looks good this time. Samantha’s dress turned out well. Nina leans over and points out something to Bette on Samantha’s dress. I think she likes it. Layana’s dress looks great. Although Team Keeping it Real had several strong contenders, I personally like the Dream Team’s line better as a whole.

Heidi tells them this is one of her favorite runway shows and it’s going to be hard for them to send someone home. This is going to be interesting. The judges cannot declare a losing team. They say the Dream Team is the winning team and Keeping it Real came in second place. Someone from Keeping it Real will be going home. The reason the Dream Team won was because of their cohesiveness.

Epi 4 Photo 9 Epi 4 Photo 10 Epi 4 Photo 11

Epi 4 Photo 12Heidi tells the Dream Team there is nothing she didn’t like from their team. All the judges loved the collection. Leandra loves the artistry in Stanley’s dress. Zac likes the textile look of Samantha’s dress. Nina likes Samantha’s and Layana’s dresses. Bette likes Layana’s dress. Heidi asks the team who they think should win. They each say different people for different reasons. The judges are very impressed with the Dream Team.

Dream Team leaves and Keeping it Real comes back. They try to explain their decade concept. Heidi liked the collection. Some people might think Patricia’s is messy, but she and Zac like it. Heidi likes the variety of the team and doesn’t think anyone really sticks out as being weak. After Joe explains his look, the judges tell him they don’t really get it. Nina doesn’t think the decades theme worked for them.

Epi 4 Photo 13 Epi 4 Photo 14 Epi 4 Photo 15

Heidi asks the team members who they think should go home from their team. Richard thinks Amanda should go home because of the panic at the end. Joe and Daniel agree with Richard. Patricia thinks Amanda is the weakest link also. Amanda tells them she ultimately did make the moss work. Kate joins the others and says Amanda is the weakest link. Her teammates think maybe Amanda has forgotten her creative side since she normally designs for clients. Nina tells them it was not apparent from her side that Amanda was the weakest link. Amanda is not happy about how her team talked about what a struggle it was on her part since none of them had to really stop to help her and she ended up OK.

It’s decision time. Among the judges, the winner is going to be between Layana and Samantha. I’m thinking Layana is going to win. I might not like Layana’s attitude, but she has proven she can design a great look on her own. They talk about Amanda and Joe for going home. Should they go with her team and pick Amanda to go? Nina didn’t think Amanda stood up for herself enough. However, if Joe is going to go oversize, he should take it further than he went. The elimination decision is painful for the judges, but they have to pick someone. I wish they would pick Joe, but I’m afraid it’s going to be Amanda.

I’m surprised. Samantha wins the challenge and the Dream Team leaves the runway. The two left standing are Joe and Amanda of course. Again I’m somewhat surprised. Joe is out. I feel bad for him because he’s the one who helped Amanda out in the end. I think the judges feel bad too. He seems OK with it. He realizes he’s unique, even for the crazy fashion world, and says they are going to have to catch up to him. Good attitude.

Next week the designers will have Miranda Lambert as a client, and it looks as if it’s going to be a tough challenge for them.

Shahs of Sunset – Persh-a-Pelooza: Recap by Ana

The season has come to an end at last. Does anyone care? Nope, not really. Seems the characters we loved in Season One have become reality jerks…

A Whack Dinner

And we are back to where we left off…dinner is a mess. I should start fighting with everyone that way I can get on the reality diet and get skinny: no time to eat because busy fighting! Lilly says that it is not okay that a knife was brought into the room (welcome on board the GG train).  Lilly is shocked that this is unacceptable and illegal. Reza says GG is a ticking time bomb and that if he doesn’t bring GG back in the room nothing will get resolved. Asa says she’s “out” because this is so “whack.” GG is back and Reza explains that he wants her and Asa to make peace. He looks a GG and tells her to go for it and on cue GG looks at him and nonchalantly says say what? LOL. Reza is like WTF…GG continues to play dumb until finally she gives in. GG then proceeds to say: “I personally did not want to violate you in a physical form that day, which is what happened and I am sorry for that. I can’t say I am sorry for the source of my anger but I am sorry that I had to react to my anger that way.” Everyone is confused. Asa says that it sounds very complicated to her and that she knows its not easy for GG, and that if this is her form of an “apology” (totally did the air quotes) but that she’s crazy, a bully and that she has no respect, no love and that she doesn’t deserve her friendship. GG gets pissed and starts rattling off that if Asa was going to come into this with an “I don’t give a fuck about you” attitude too. Then Asa is like who the fuck are you and what do you value. (I was confused by this…) And GG then tells Asa to shut up and let her talk. MJ then starts telling them both to stop. They start arguing and Asa tells GG she’s “whack and nothing but whack”- GG starts making fun of the whack comment (I REALLY dislike that word). Reza is looking at GG like calm down. Asa says she’s done and gets up to walk away. GG asks her if they can talk because Asa never lets her talk. Asa tells her that she’s already said a thousand words and said nothing so she’s done.

Asa says in her talking head that she has the biggest performance of her life coming up and that she doesn’t have time for GG’s “whack ass behavior.” Asa says goodbye and leaves- Reza walks her out. Lilly is stressed and says she is not used to all this arguing and aggression and decides to leave. GG says that she has given up on Asa and regrets even wanting to apologize to a POS like her. After Lilly and Asa leave GG tells the group that the first thing that came out of her mouth was an apology. Sammy is like what? All you had to do is keep apologizing. Reza then tells GG that her apology went like this: “I am sorry for jumping you but I’m not sorry for blah blah blah.” Basically telling her what we all know: that was not an apology. Reza tells GG that he has a piece of advice for her: she is working from a certain place and it is not working for her (MJ chimed in with Reza on this one). Then GG says when does it get to a point when she gets to ask Asa what about what she did? Reza is like this is not the time! Mike is like: “Can she hear herself talk? You can smell the BS from a mile away.” Mike then turns to GG and tells her that he’ll explain it to her in a way that she can understand: “when you apologize to someone you must humble yourself to fully be apologetic, not on a case by case basis. I am sorry if I EVER did anything to hurt you.” Good advice Mike. Mike then tells GG that at this point its too late. Reza then tells GG that she is whack, that the apology was whack and that she let him down. GG just sits there and stares at Reza. Reza can’t believe that he ever thought this was a good idea and was a big waste. Everyone leaves GG and Sammi. At this point GG cries.

Shopping with Vida

Following the therapist’s advice Vida and MJ head out shopping! They are parking the car, and Vida has issues with MJ’s parking skills. MJ explains that the homework assignment the therapist gives the is that they have to go shopping together and her mother (Vida) cannot be critical of her. Once they can finally park the car (to Vida’s approval) they head to Kitson. MJ starts by trying on some red sunglasses (they are not my taste) and Vida asks her how many sunglasses does she own already. MJ just says she does not know if she owns any red sunglasses and asks Vida how do they look. Vida tells MJ she has 600 pairs of sunglasses.

In her talking head Vida says that too much shopping for her is a waste of time, energy and money but is tying her best for Mercedes. Vida picks out a gold and black bumble beeish sweater for MJ- MJ nixes it. They continue to shop around and the MJ tries on clothes. In her talking head MJ says that although it doesn’t look like much, her mother really is trying. MJ comes out of the dressing room wearing a black dress that is 2 sizes too small for her. Vida (bless her) tells MJ that if she likes shinny dresses like that, she can find others in chiffon, or other material that falls loosen her body and is not tight like the one she has on that shows all of MJ’s goodies. (She really is trying because poor MJ looked like a stuffed sausage in that dress- a couple sizes bigger and the dress would’ve looked fab.) MJ knows that her mom will keep it real with her and tell her the truth- although she’s not complimenting her, she’s not criticizing either. MJ and Vida had a good shopping day and decide to go get some lunch. Really happy those two are finding peace and building a better relationship!

Likeable Lilly Finally Shines Through!

Lilly comes over to Asa’s awesome golden coin home.  Lilly thinks Asa’s house is amazing and really big. Lilly explains that although Asa and her are complete opposites, she believes Asa is a very strong woman and she admires that. Lily tells Asa that she’s been working a lot and sometimes feels like her whole youth will pass her by. She really doesn’t go out. Asa tells her that she’s in bed by ten. Lilly then tells Asa well at least you have a boyfriend. Asa looks at Lilly and is like “I thought you had a boyfriend”? Lilly explains in her talking head that last week she went to Texas to visit her family and that while she was there she spent some time with Ali. While she was there she realized she really doesn’t want to be with him. Lilly explains to Asa that she feels bad about herself being with him. She then tells Asa that when she went to law school, Ali took it as “free pass” and she does not trust him. What a jerk! Lilly explains that she is always worrying that he will cheat on her. Lilly says that the past 11 years have been a roller coaster and she is unsure why she has stayed on this ride for so long. She thinks she should be smarter than that- and thinks its time to leave the amusement park. Lilly starts to cry when she tells Asa her doubts- should she throw away all the years they have over something that happened 5 years ago? Yes you should Lilly – however its hard when you are in love girl! Lilly in her talking head (crying) says that she thinks she lost the trust a long time ago and no matter how perfect they are now, they trust just cant be regained. Lilly then tells Asa that she finally had the courage to make hat decision. Asa tells Lilly that she thinks the universe reward courageous decisions. Lilly says she deserves someone that treats her with respect from day 1- Asa agrees 1,000%!

Preparing for Persh-a-Pelooza

Asa arrives ar Centre Stage to begin preparing for her performance. Asa informs us that Persh-a-Pelooza is tomorrow and that today is the first rehearsal with everyone. Kindda last minute! They begin rehearsing and they seem t obe having some glitches. Asa tells us that the amount of detail that goes into this is astonishing- much more than she ever thought- she underestimated the details! Asa looks amazing in her talking heard- straight hair ONE necklace and simple demure make-up. Asa explains that the intonation in her voice changes with each hair toss she makes- so she probably shouldn’t shake that much. Asa gets concerned that she wont be able to sing and dance at the same time. After the rehearsal Asa is very worried because she doesn’t think she prepared enough.

Mike Disappoints His Parents

Mike arrives at his parent’s house with a bottle of champagne. His parents ask him what the occasion is – AGAIN fabulous spread of desserts that no one seems to touch! Mike explains that his parents’ opinions are the most important to him. Mike tells them that he wanted to meet with them because he needs their approval regarding Jessica. He wants to know its okay to take the relationship to he next level, if he chooses to. His mother tells Mike that marriage is a big commitment and that when you come from different cultures- there will be more issues. That he has to make sure that he loves her that much and hat he will go out if his way to make her happy. Mike says yes. She tells him that if he is happy, then she is happy.

Mike’s father then tells him that he has a different feeling than his mother. He then proceeds to tell him in Farsi: “When you were growing up I didn’t provide all the love that you deserved. I would work up to 16 hours a day. I regret not spending more time with you. I’ve always wished that you would get married and your wife would become like our own daughter, to fill the void of not having a daughter in our lives. My English is not so good. I would like to speak to her from my heart and I can’t do that in English.” That is the way I feel about it. Mike and his mom tear up.

Mike tells them that this is the one and that one day she’ll make a good wife and mother. That she (Jessica) is already learning Farsi and one day she will make her house into a home. Mike’s father tells him that he has their blessing of course. Mike’s dad advises him that when the time comes, to spend as much time as he can with his kids. His mom reiterated that if they see him happy, then that is the girl for him. Mike hugs and kisses his parents- he is thankful that he is able to make the choice to not marry within his race. Sweet moment.

Beach Date!

Reza and his boyfriend Adam are at the beach ready for a picnic. Reza says that they have been hanging out a lot and that he enjoys doing things that Adam enjoys solely because of Adam’s enjoyment. An example is seaglassing- which is walking up and down the beach looking for broken glass that washed up on the shore and are now smooth…”you know things only white people do” LOL. Persiand don’t give an eff about glass, He does it for him. They sit down to eat a wonderful whole foods spread…Adam tells Reza that every time he brings up their relationship, Reza get really weirded out. Reza asks Adam if he’s happy with the way things are and Adam turns it around and asks if he is. Reza says he is happy, that he likes the way things are. Adam then asks that if they were ever to be married who would ask who… Reza says he thinks that the person who wants to get married would do the asking. Adam then asks if he were to do it, how would he ask him. Reza says it’s clear that he’s thought about it, so how would he like it to happen. Adam says-“ let me see the ring first.” Reza laughs.

In his talking head Reza says that when Adam talks about marriage it scares the living crap out of him! Reza says that Adam is an old fashioned girl that wants to be going steady. He thinks he wants to go steady and is trying- but is definitely not sure yet.

Its finally here! Persh-a-Pelooza! Asa gets up and starts getting ready. She starts doing some kind of ritual to avoid the evil eye. Her friend Liza comes over to put henna on her feet and hands. (She definitely had a mani/pedi and her nails look great!) Asa enjoys the ritual of it. That afternoon, her other friend Sunny arrives and she starts to show her the costumes and the ritual items she needs her help packing up. The limo arrives to pick them up and take them to the location.

At Lilly’s place, her glam squad arrives and is getting her ready for Persh-a-Pelooza. Lilly wants to focus on herself and move on from her relationship. Lilly is confident Asa will be awesome.

Asa and Sunny arrive at the venue. Asa has her own trailer, fully stocked up- like a real artist y’all! Asa is really excited and nervous but ready for her first sound check.

At MJ’s condo she’s getting ready with her new boyfriend Drizzy (aka. George…or Persian Drake), whom she met at her B-day party. So happy for MJ! MJ says she thinks she is staring to get it together…almost…maybe! Drizzy tells MJ that he will make her punctual.

GG is also getting ready, but obviously not for Persh-a-Pelooza- since she has been exiled from the Persian group. Unlike previous episodes, GG is actually doing her own make-up! GG says she is excited to see her friends and put all this high school, soap operaish drama behind her and is ready to go out let loose and have fun.

Asa’s mom arrives at her trailer with a giant bouquet of flowers. Asa is in a chair getting her hair done. Asa tells her mom that she is very emotional. Asa says all she can think of is her family and the sacrifices they made so she would be free and not forced to wear a veil- its not just the physical veil but the meaning and oppression behind the veil. Had her family stayed in Iran, Asa says she would’ve been an entirely different person. Asa begins to cry and her mom comforts her- tells her they are tears of happiness. Asa tells her mom she is scared- her mom tells her not to be, all her friends and family is there to support her.  Her mom tells her to smile!

Adam and Reza are on their way to the show at El Rey Theater. Reza says that this is Adam’s coming out party- because it’s the first time he’s bringing him around all his friends. Reza tells Adam he loves him and Adam says he loves him too. They kiss and toast to love. Then Reza says they should toast again to him…Adam says maybe lets toast to us instead of always to you! They toast to them and then toast to Reza.

Reza and Adam arrive first. Reza says he is very proud of his friend for doing this and in his mind she already has killed it! Mike and Jessica arrive next. Mike is nervous for Asa, especially since the line is out the door. Mercedes and Drizzy arrive (it seems on time too!) followed by Tehran (friend of the shahs) and then lastly Lilly and her sister arrive.

Sunny tells Asa that the place is packed! Asa says the purpose of Persh-a-Pelooza is to have a convergence of young Iranian artists from around the world for the first time. Music is illegal in Iran, so events like this are necessary in order to have Persian pop culture and to be able to move forward with it.

GG and her friends are on their way out. Omid is in Texas visiting his family and GG is thinking about going out there to go visit. She asks her friends if she should get a hotel room- they all say YES. In the car with her is Anita, whom GG had an altercation with Season 1. GG explains to us that they have patched things up and are really good friends- which is a refreshing change. GG and her friends are on their way to Fashion Minga, and event that is held during fashion week in L.A. where there are performances, fashion shows, and celebrities. GG says she is very sad that she had to attack Asa, that she was isolated. She feels even more isolated now. However, time heals old wounds and will try to put her guard down more now and to be more vulnerable to her emotions. GG says she has a lot of growing up to do and hopefully some day things will work out between them.

Back at the El Rey Theater, everyone is waiting for Asa to go up on the stage! The show begins and Asa is doing awesome! Everyone seems to be having a great time. Asa says all her fears faded once she got on stage…as a surprise she brings up Andy to the stage. They start to sing their song and the whole event is a success for Asa! Asa is very happy and even happier her friends and family are there to support her. She is glad she can build a bridge between traditional Persian and American Persian culture.  Everyone congratulated Asa after the show and all meet up at her trailer. Asa says she will eat a bunch of Persian food tomorrow, now that the show is over.

Lilly thinks different is beautiful and as different as everyone in the group is- they all came from the same mold, same culture. Asa jokingly laughs at MJ and Lilly and tells then they are the Louboutin Army. Lilly says she has the worlds smallest feet- she wears a 35. Reza HAS to point out that MJ is a size 47. Asa says 47 up hear (pointing at her boobs)- Lilly gracefully says that whatever her size might be she is looking good in her Louboutins. MJ just smiles. IN her talking head, MJ says that this was not an easy summer and that they are still working their way back from hell. They all hug it out. MJ says they are all in a way growing up and turning a corner- a sharp corner…a sharp turn.  Mike says that in this moment in time he is with the love of his life, with his tribe and he wishes he could stop time right now and freeze this moment forever. Reza says that he is thankful for being Persian but also for being American- because of the freedom he has and all can have. Love, Family is what makes you who you are…and an Hermes pocket square does not hurt though. After the hug they all start a food fight and basically trash Asa’s trailer with their shenanigans…

Next week Part One of the reunion. Do they really need a two-part reunion? It seems unnecessary. I hope Andy calls out Reza on his douche bag ways with MJ.

    Have a great day everyone.

If you don’t want to watch MJ brutally attacked by everyone except GG then don’t watch the reunion. They were fierece and Reza hasn’t let up since calling her a drug addict and saying Drizzy is only using her on Twitter. With friends like him who needs enemies? MJ is better off without him.

    • thedesigndiva2 says:

nyc mama,, boy reza sure did suffer from a malignant seasontwoitis… same with asa…
I am a firm believer of what goes around… those two will get it back ten fold… but we know dandy andy salivates for this kind of behavior and they will be back…
I just dont understand how anyone can go thru life inflicting this kind of pain on a so called friend…. WHO DOES THAT !!!!!
I really am over all this crap that bravo continues to air in the name of entertainment…there’s nothing entertaining in watching the continual back stabbing of people….no wonder this world is the condition it is…we have lost all respect for one another and it breaks my heart…
      hugs and peace

      • nyc mama says:

Amen Diva!! I agree 100% with what you said and don’t get me started on Lilly. She brings absolutely NOTHING to the show. Who wants to continue to listen to that woman whine about her boyfriend after 10 years? Wake-up and smell the coffee. She comes off less than bright in many ways. got me started but I won’t continue (although I can and it gets worse) but I hope she’s gone and they replace her with someone more interesting. And IMO MJ is much prettier than she is.

I hope you are feeling better today!

      • trudie says:

It makes me wonder why they keep Inside the Actor’s Studio. Doesn’t fit with their other programming.

    • chismosa says:

I am so freakin pissed at everyone going after MJ especially Reza and Assssss-a. I hope MJ doesn’t get Teresa-syndrome and is able to spit off quick retorts back to stupid, hair-blown-out, only-got-your-music-connections-bc-of YOUR BOYFRIEND- ASSSA She’s pushing 38, 39, has been dating that Jackson for so long, cooks him lunch everyday and he hasn’t put a ring on it ? Shut the hell up.

Mj will show how classy she is and not open her mouth to probably the 1000s of things she can divulge about Reza. What a jerk. ANDY will take Reza’s side. Guaranteed

Ps if anyone is interested — regarding ATLANTA— today’s Ricki Lake (aka Bethenny’s fellow tv show person), will be having Peter and Cynthia on today as well as her sister and mom to discuss the wedding fiasco. I’m dvr’ing. Though I can’t stand when Ricki walks around with her arms in the air, pointing. It distracts me.

I haven’t watched Runway yet so don’t want to catch any comments so I’m off, have a fab Friday everyone !

        Hey there, Mardrag!

So, where’s the PARTY tonight?? Oh Oh Oh!! Let’s have a theme party…The Early Days of Reality TV. I wanna dress up a Flava Flav and I just so happen to have a big wall clock that will look great on a tow chain around my neck! Shoot – I’ve misplaced my gold snap-in teeth though. Maybe I’ll have to come as someone else. *sigh*

      • Lisa Renee says:

Morning MarDrag, just saw your post to me from yesterday 🙂 I really think you are going to enjoy CCS’s approach to womens health & the role emotional health plays in our lives. I have hesitated to post this cause I don’t want to cause a casino or debate it but my mom was using the Suzanne Sommers hormone therapy way before her. My mom used shots & cream but not vaginally. Bloodwork every 3 months working with Institute in Miami dedicated to this treatment. What my mom’s body was producing at her age was incredible to me. $700 a month, steep but god bless if you can afford it, I swear by it & not close to needing it, yet. Mom had 11 hr neck surgery & neuro doc could not believe how well she did, he attributed it to her body still producing its own estrogen. Mom took vitamins but not in the amount that was shown on the episode. My 2 cents, Lisa
P.S. If you didn’t watch Tila Tequila or the bi-sexual twins look for love, I win lol.

        • Powell says:

Hey Lisa. LOL. I watched Tila Tequila but not the twins so yes you are the new Queen. 🙂

          • Lisa Renee says:

Hi Powell, reading about all those shows & everyone admitting they love them was hysterical this morning. I watch them all but Flava of Love is my favorite, Lisa

            • not THAT Jill says:

Hey Lisa-I watched Tila and the dirty twins…..GOD I NEED TO GET A HOBBY….right quick!!!!!

              • Lisa Renee says:

Jill, ummmm you have a hobby, motherhood lol. We watch these crapfest shows to make folding laundry go by quicker. What I could never figure out is how some of these women can leave their child/ren for 3 months. I had no one I could say here take my kid while I go debase myself on TV! My mom would have laughed in my face as she was smacking me back to reality. DD gave up facebook & twitter for lent, lets see if it sticks. Hope everyone in the family is well & wondering if Maggie got her lightup blankey yet. I just sent Ashley the gel pillows for her diningroom chairs, made me think of you. Lisa

                • LOL at all of you! Lisa…I watched Tila too I am sorry to say. 😦 But couldn’t handle the twins…so you do win!

And Boo…we can do the party at my place tonight again, but why don’t we invite cameras and make it a Reality Show?!? Real Doll’s of the Blogosphere! How about that? Ya’ll are invited!!

        • Catseye says:

Great news about your mom and the success she’s had with her regamin. I use a natural product from Thailand, that has been used for hundreds of years, for the side effects of menopause and I am very happy with it.

          • Lisa Renee says:

Catseye, I am just a huge believer of combining traditional medicine with non traditional. I have seen too many “miracles” to pooh pooh it away. You still need to get vaginal sonograms & have blood checked. Good for you getting relief from side effects of menopause. I am sure your friends & family are even happier than you lol! Those side effects are brutal. Thanks for sharing, knowledge is power. Lisa

woke up with a flaming headache… havent had one in a long time… I know…stress…. having a nice cup of java with almond joy cream…yums
so then I come into the room, sit down in front of the laptop and lo and behold..

    hugs and peace

    • Darling Diva…..I hope your head gets better today and you find a way to release the stress you are feeling. I had already started writing my blog for this morning when I read some of your comments yesterday. It inspired the rest of the writing for the post, so go have a read.

I just want to share with you though, that years ago, I went through the same thing you are going through, and it changed my life forever. I kept trying to push myself into a spot that kept spitting me back out again. When I realized that wasn’t for me anymore, I stripped myself of all my preconceived notions and figured out what I was REALLY supposed to be doing in my life, and now I get to do that and I am happy.

You are such a REMARKABLE woman and you have talents and qualities that are unique. I truly believe you are supposed to do something with those that is not a traditional job. Think about that, and ask for guidance. It comes! HUGS!!

      • trudie says:

        That was beautiful 🙂

      • iceNfire says:

Hi MarDrag – you said “I kept trying to push myself into a spot that kept spitting me back out again. ” and this reminds me of the 1st restaurant we tried to buy. We just Had to have it, it was Perfect but the seller just wouldn’t negotiate on the price even tho we kept raising our offer it just wasn’t going to happen. Several months later I read in the paper that the new owner was murdered in the kitchen by a crazy transient……… That would have been my husband if we had pushed ourselves into a spot that clearly didn’t wasn’t meant for us. Huge lesson learned!

        • Lisa Renee says:

Ice, that story just gave me chills. To me that was God’s hand (spiritual sense, not necessarily religion) keeping you on the path he choose for you. Wow, just wow. I read Kid Rock got through surgery & is home resting. I hope you got some rest last night. Lisa

          • iceNfire says:

Hi Lisa – Yes, exactly! I learned that no matter how perfect the object of desire seems to be, don’t push for it. Try, but don’t force. Kid Rock is much better today and thankfully he knows now that he’s not going anywhere for awhile. He had to cancel his interview in Arizona due to doctors orders of not flying…maybe God’s hand – idk – I’m just happy he has accepted that fact that he needs to take it easy and rely on help.

            • Lisa Renee says:

Ice, I am not sure how old he is but when DD hit 21-22 years old my ability to reason with her was a huge milestone. She went from “wish I listened” to “so glad I listened”. With the way his whole injury unfolded & how the $$ worked itself out (because your amazing & got some great advice here) the bigger picture with the job will make sense at some point in the future, just like why your DH was not in that restaurant. I think its great he has accepted he is staying put & asking for help. Very relieved for all of you, Lisa

            • Laineylainey says:

So glad for kid rock. That restaurant story is amazing. Heal first, interview later, kid rock. Oh and I will keep that restaurant story in mind.

            • A squad of cheerleaders with purple pom poms are doing cheers inside my heart for you Diva!! So glad this happened. Sometimes, we have to get that low, and talk some s**t to our Higher Powers to make sure we are heard above the din. Congrats Dear Diva!

        • Wow, that is some story ice! Good for you for listening to the message from the universe. Our inner voices are always watching out for us!

    • Lisa Renee says:

Hi Diva, just catching up on your work force woes. I think I have a solution, Phone-A-Ho! Think about it, it really takes working from home to the next level. I have a sneaking suspicion you would be really good at it & phone sex is the safest sex there is. As a bonus Mr. Ford gets to listen from the next room as his knee heals. Talk about killing two birds with one stone. It came to me as I was listening to the sex tape in Arias trial. All jokes aside keep up the good fight, something will come your way 🙂 let me save everyone alot of trouble, yes there is something wrong with me, Lisa

      • Powell says:

Lisa I’m in the docs office right now. Thk goodness in a room cause Phon-A-Ho has me in stitches. You are crazy but inventive. 😀

  8. Good Morning and Happy Friday!!

Thanks NMD, BB, and Ana for the great blog today! You make our days by giving us this place to start them in.

BB – loved PR last night…actually stayed awake to watch it all. But, I too was surprised Samantha won. Tho it was a unique dress, I thought others were far more beautiful and deserved the win more. I sometimes do not know where the judges are coming from. BUT, loved seeing the venerable Bette Midler there last night! Woot, love her!!

Wishing everyone a swift and easy Friday to lead us to the weekend!

New post, “Being OK” + all the goodies is up at my place. Enjoy!

    • Boobah says:

Thanks for the heads up, BB. Anderson starts in 15 minutes here. I’m gonna try to catch it.

    • plainviewsue says:

Just watched the beginning & Brandi confirms that Adrienne was suing Bravo to make sure that what Brandi said was deleted from the show.

There is no way in hell that Adrienne will be back next season. Thank god!

      • T-Rex says:

PVS, I think Brandi probably meant sent a C&D letter to them too. I wish Brandi would stop using the word “sue” she obviously has no clue between sending out a letter and actually filing documents in the courts. Threatening a suit is different from FILING the suit. And yes my producer friend said that indeed the Production Team and Bravo were sent attorney’s letters to edit the information. I wonder again if this is all going to play out at the Reunion since the HoofMaloof by all accounts is not going to attend

      • realhousewifeva says:

That’s interesting because I thought their contracts included a clause that they can not sue Bravo at all…otherwise, there would be lawsuits left and right I imagine.

    • bb..we shall see…but..I dont care to see dayna taking her place..I watched her on plastic wives…what a mess she is … but I would LOVE to see tits GONE…..

    • T-Rex says:

BB WOOHOO FINALLY! I think MzAndy had ShannaTaylorNotFordLyingGrifterHusbandStealingDrunkAssLypsMcgee on WWHL to show what a drunk she is now and that Bravo doesn’t want to be a part of this behaviour. Word had leaked a few months back she was moving to Denver to be closer to her LyingLoserCheatingLawyer. I bet she uses this as her excuse for her EXIT from the show. We all knew the HoofMaloof was OUT. I don’t know who this new person is but she has to be hands down better than the 2 fired losers

      • princesspindy says:

Moving to Denver?? But she worked SO hard to get that zip code!!! lol!!

        • T-Rex says:

Apparently she worked something else to get the LyingLoserCheatingLawyer to leave his wife for her, his whole life is there and reportedly he has ZERO intentions of leaving Denver for BHills. So, ShannaTaylorNotFordLyingGrifterHusbandStealingDrunkAssLypsMcgee will have to move there. Oh, but wait where will she live, in BH she lived with VileKyle and Murray, until Bravo rented her a place for filming this season, the house is rented through the Reunion, then she will have to fork over money for her own place, unless LyingLoserCheatingLawyer sets her up in a sugarshack(allegedly)

        • Kansas Girl says:

I wonder if she’ll remember to take Kennedy when she moves.

  10. Cartwheels says:

  11. Cartwheels says:

Is Alex coming back to RHNY? I sure hope so, minus Simon though.
Bryn and Portia are two adorable little girls. 🙂

    • pat says:

I doubt it, but who knows? Maybe some appearances like she did on Bethenny’s show.
I wish she’d realize she needs to wear a bra. What is up with the droopy boobs all the time?

    • T-Rex says:

No I think that the RHNY ship has sailed for poor Alex, she might get a screen shot or two but I don’t think they are even going to make her a “friend” of the HW. Simon by his actions, put the nail in that coffin, and then when he made that ratings website, that was it that coffin was now six feet under. I wish she was still on some times, but again without Simon.

  12. AZGirl says:

Good morning everyone! TGIF! Off to work. BBL

  13. plainviewsue says:

I don’t watch Wendy Williams, but twitter is going nuts with her rant against RHONJ this morning show.

We all know she is very anti Teresa, and she is good friends with Wacko and Kathy.

She totally defended Melissa, saying rumors are not true (how in hell would she know???).

This is the summation from RumorFix blog:

Talk show host Wendy Williams has quickly come to the defense of one of her favorite Housewives.

On Friday, Wendy opened her show with a rant against the Bravo network’s Real Housewives of New Jersey. Williams took a stand and defended Melissa Gorga who was called out for cheating on her husband, Joe, in this week’s Life&Style.

The outspoken host made it clear that she does not believe the accusations against Melissa and sharply warned Bravo that RHONJ producers are gonna have to “do better than this or just shut down the [Real Houswives] franchise.”

Wendy went on to point her finger at Melissa’s enemies on the show, Teresa Giudice and Kim D. She called them “troublemakers” and said the the whole plot line to destroy Melissa is “very tiring” and that it’s time for producers to “come up with newer and fresh material!”

So let me get this straight Wendy…………it’s perfectly fine to disect Teresa’s marriage but once it comes to your beloved Melissa, now Bravo is going too far???????????

She doesn’t believe the accusations. That’s okay. Her opinion. But to call out Teresa as the one doing this is just plain wrong.

This, again, is why I go crazy with NJ & defend Teresa. Teresa’s the troublemaker. Teresa is out to destroy the family.

In MY opinion, it has been Melissa all along. But Wendy Williams, Kelly Ripa, all of the WWHL guests that Bravo books…………they are all against Teresa. Saying she should leave the show.

    My rant is done!!!

    • HuskerHuny says:

I don’t think we need to take sides in the Melissa/Theresa conflict. I believe that there is (for the most part) equal blame on each side. And personally, I don’t care for either one of them. Take the cameras out of the equation and they probably would get along like any other sisters-in-law which is, I really don’t like her, but I will put up with her because it’s family. What think you?

      • nyc mama says:

I agree with you. I don’t like any of the Gorgas/Giudices and think they are all the same garbage.

      • Constance says:

Agree. Reality TV doesn’t mean that every detail of a cast member’s life is fair game. The whole NJ show has become too personal and mean spirited. I am not entertained.

    • melthehound says:

She’s entitled her opinion just like everyone else. Here’s mine.. Along with her pal Mego and her other pal Joey Marco, Wendy is a pig. How YOU Doin’ ?

      • melthehound says:

I will add to that, the only reason Ms How You Doin has a job, is because of these HW types. So she’s going to back the ones who keep the drama coming so she can flap her lips about it.

        • iceNfire says:

I don’t like Wendy at all but I do record her show when I see it’s mentioned here. That’s about the only tv viewing benefit of being a west coaster. Wonder if my recording adds to her ratings, hope not.

          • melthehound says:

That was strictly my own opinion. I quit watching because she seems to thrive on the BS a little too much for my taste (imagine that). I would rather see it first hand. It isn’t my aim to sway anyone one way or another. I don’t know if recordings add to ratings or not. I think only first run adds to them.

            • Lisa Renee says:

Hi Jeff, its me Miss day late & dollar short, ITA about wendy williams! No words! I don’t care who she is flapping her gums about. I was subjected to her on radio for years until she put her entire career up her nose, she fit it ALL in one nostril. Kinda had a set back & didn’t watch Survivor or Top Chef till yesterday. I was on internet black out till last night. I was too dizzy to read & I am responsible for my own spoilers. Stellar recap, the whole reason I watched is for the blog. First time ever I am ready to bail. DH loved the links, he said they helped him alot. Only upside to returning players is less names to learn, not loving FvsF & didn’t the first time. Pinky has still lost his dam mind, he wants to be Boston Rob so bad I thought he was going to ask for the crunchy rice. I’m twisted with production because post season interviews you find out the survivors dont pick their clothes, (Abitchias red top) they made him put them on. I have a special place in my heart for crazy & I still hope they go before the merge. Knew in my bones Fran was going first, Mark Burnett off his game. Pulling for no one yet. I was surprised how Malcolm got schooled in comp & not thrilled to watch him again. I liked him better last season & why I hate returning players. I get such a kick out of Cochran. They have been given sunscreen & bug spray since season 3, schmuck, how did that sunburn happen? I saw Dawn as the swing vote & sorry to see she hasn’t changed her wimpy ways. TC was a snooze fest & Hantz is bringing the crazy next week. My best to you & the hound, Lisa

              • melthehound says:

Sorry you’ve been in internet blackout. I did look for you yesterday 😉 .. My guess with Cochran is he came to the game with the sunburn or at least a start on one. You’re right about the returning suspects. The only good thing about them is you don’t have to learn their names. Glad you enjoy the recaps.

          • chismosa says:

Guys I’ve said this before if you don’t have a Nielsen box in your house you’re not counting in ratings !!!! :)))))

I love Wendy she says it like she means it and I took her lambasting the nj storyline as in “the entire storyline of last year” was getting tiring. Just like she said NY better “bring it”

And sorry, MTH- Wendy was a radio DJ, very very successfully on urban radio stations around the country so she was not handed a speaking job for doing nothing like the various other women who are being handed over daytime talk shows, cough cough.

        • AZGirl says:

Jeff you are too funny! “Ms. How You Doin” Never liked Wendy.

    • T-Rex says:

Oh good Grief, what has messed up your ability to perform is your inability to stay away from alcohol and drugs, that coupled with your excessive laxative usage and possible binging and purging, ALLEGEDLY. FYI those folks that Binge and Purge do complete damage to the structure of their teeth and bones. Let’s see you CrayCrayMORONRimes, go ahead with that lawsuit and watch them pull all of your medical records and you have to undergo physicals to determine that the damage was done by the Dentist and not your lifestyle.

      • pat says:

NO kidding. She is soooo lawsuit crazy. And just crazy. She’s suing the Dentist for past and future lost earnings, for having to cancel appearances due to all her tooth issues. In her book, Brandi speculated about the life Leann had signed herself up for by marrying Eddie. She predicted a future of cancelled concerts and appearances, as Leann will be afraid to leave him alone.

      • trudie says:

I just swallowed my temporary crown eating a spoonful of tuna fish – go figure. Think I can sue?

I did manage a ski resort for two years in Aspen on Maroon Creek across from Aspen Highlands back in the early 80’s…. yup yup
I know the owner of this hotel and he also owns the Holiday Inn here and another Motel…I ran into him at Christmas when I was getting my tires rotated and we laughed about the good old days when I was his Architect… He’s from India and I always use a different voice when I say his name and he cracks up..he’s hard to understand at times , I understand him, but still make it seem likes he’s saying something different and he laughs…
when we had a meeting about his house plans the ENTIRE FAMILY was there..30 of them..OMG.. drove me nuts… they started talking in their native language and I said that’s not fair.I dont understand you…he said it was faster for them to do it that way..I said..well how do I know that you arent calling me a bitch in a foreign language,.. he said bitch is still said bitch in either language… we all busted a gut at the table….. good sign..
he was a difficult client to work with , but I perservered and stuck with him… we ended up being friends in the end….hahahahahaha
diva loves a challenge and never backs away from one…and believe me..he was a challenge.. this guys Father over in India has THIRTY .. man servants…can you imagine…

so, teasingly I told him I need a job and would be willing to do maid service anything to have a job… he asked if I knew computers…WELL DUH !!!! of course I do…. he said that he would keep me in mind and if anything popped up he would call…. So , I gave him the number to call me.. and sure nough…he called….
I still have my headache..maybe it’s the weather.. so off to make a sammie…peanut butter and honey.maybe that will make me feel better
    drinks for everyone…

    hugs and peace
    diva .

Jeff Probst’s talk show cancelled – won’t be renewed for 2nd season.

    • 2Stupid says:

Congratulations Diva. It is truly the best news of the day!

    • pat says:

I only watched part of one show. It was a real snoozer. Long before he got his survivor gig, Jeff Probst was the host of a local gardening show here in Seattle. He was known to be kind of a wimpy guy, so it was funny when he took on the persona that he did for survivor.

  17. It's not reality says:

So is it just me or do the Shahs of Sunsets cast constant use of ,”white people this and white people do that”, offensive? If it was the other way around it would be considered racist.

    • LaineyLainey says:

I’m sure it’s not just you.

    • melthehound says:

I don’t watch the show but yes it is offensive. It’s offensive regardless of who it comes from.

    • princesspindy says:

I personally don’t find it offensive because I have never suffered discrimination because I was white…..

      • ah ha PP… BUT we have suffered discrimination because we are women..!!!!
and as far as reza and them using the term ” WHITE “… just shows their ignorance and one day…and it will happen..mark my words..he will use that word to the wrong person and he wont know what hit him… and God knows..he gets all kinds of jacked up when people use derogatory words to describe his lifestyle…

        • Catseye says:

Very true about being discriminated against as women. When I was married to my loser ex-husband, I tried to get a low-limit credit card from my OWN credit union (I had been working full time for over 10yrs) they refused to issue me one, telling me my useless, ex-husband (who had a lower paying job and sketchy work history) had to co-sign for it. B.S. I ended opening one with an offer that came in the mail. NO co-sign needed.

          • thedesigndiva2 says:

catseye…I hear ya..I have always bought vehicles on my own and in my own name.. when PITA was 17..a year after his brother died..I wanted to get him a new truck so he would be in something safe..warranty and all that stuff..while we were at it I figured I’D go ahead and get myself a truck and get rid of my car… cause I wanted to…
so pull up to dealership… pick out 2 trucks..salesman comes out..calls me ” little lady ” first mistake… then with his toothpick in his mouth asks…where’s your hubby… I asked why ? then he starts the whole..welllll he’s gotta be here to sign the paperwork… I wanted to beat the crap out of him..but I didn’t…just asked him if he wanted to go home with his balls in tact… then gave him the whole discriminating against women speech.. I WAS LIVID… PITA and I left.. drove 40 miles south..had a WOMAN sales person..bought 2 brand new Dodge trucks..drove back to other dealership..pulled up to the showroom..laid on the horn..the guy looked out and I flipped him the middle salute and drove off…
what the kicker is…the owner of the this dealership was a friend..and I did not pull the friend card when looking at the trucks… but he lost my business because of this person.. and I wrote a scathing letter to the editor of our paper about the whole thing… my friend came over to the house all sorry and what not etc..they then instituted training classes for the sales force and that guy lost his job….oh well..too bad…
SEE I was uncover boss before it hit CBS.. hahahahahaha

      • It's not reality says:

I am not white and have suffered discrimination, but I would not make a blanket statement of others just because of that. Racism goes both ways and can start small.

        • thedesigndiva2 says:

it’s not reality…I hear ya… and you know where you used to live and where I am living now..we hear alot of this… I dont care what color you are…I care about the caliber of person you are….

    • mrspeabody says:

As a white person I find it offensive. If a white person is called on it then so should everyone else. I’m getting tired of it and at this point the only ones I like are MJ and MIke. I even like GG a bit but I think she’s crazy. Can’t stand Reza and absolutely can’t stand Aza and I was not impressed with her show at all.

      • pat says:

I don’t like it, either, because you can tell when they say it, they mean it as a put down.

      • It's not reality says:

Mike does it too. When they are in Cabo he says,’white people are weird they wear floppy hats and speedos, this is said in regards to a guy they partying with poolside.

    • Kansas Girl says:

Yeah. I work with internationals and their skin is all sorts of colors. We are all just people. But I sort of get what they’re doing. They’re trying hard to not lose their Persian identity. In the children of immigrants, it is often that generation that rebels and only wants to be American, and thus loses the cultural identity. But it’s offensive. There are better ways they could put it. Non-persian, for one.

    • Donna says:

To be honest, I am confused. What color are they in the rainbow of human beings.

    • nyc mama says:

It doesn’t make sense since most Persian’s are considered caucasian. Although there are people made up of different races throughout Iran most are considered caucasians. I have Persians in my family who live in Great Neck where Reza’s family lives and I have never heard them refer to themselves as anything other. They find many things that the Shah’s have said and behaved cringe worthy.

      • chismosa says:

Hey NYc- thank you for saying that. If you look it up, technically they are Caucasian

Are you Sefardic? I’m in the manhasset/port Washington area so i go to GN sometimes. All the shops though are by me, Great neck is like its own little world.

  18. AZGirl says:

It is a beautiful day here in Arizona. More so that now Diva has a job. So happy for you Diva! Also those poor victims of the Carnival Cruise Line are now free and on solid ground. I still am amazed that they don’t have generators on those massive ships. I will never have to worry because I will never take a cruise.

    • melthehound says:

I’m not worried either and for the same reason. I can’t imagine being trapped with 4000 people, working ship or not, and paying to do it.

    • BB says:

I have never taken a cruise and never plan to take a cruise. Too many things can go wrong and your’re pretty much stuck with it. People mysteriously falling overboard, all kinds of viruses floating around, and now this. No thank you. I’ll stick with boring old OBX! lol.

      • Catseye says:

I took a couple of one day cruises down to Mexico and I found it the most boring thing ever.

        • mrspeabody says:

I find it very boring while out to sea but do like going to the different ports. Boy I sound like a world traveler, I’ve only been on 2 cruises.

    • thedesigndiva2 says:

AZGIRL. they do have generators on them..the size of buses..but when they catch on fire all bets are off… I will never ever ever go on a cruise…. on my 40th bee day mr ford and a friend got this hair brain idea to get me cruise for a gift… bad move slick…he had to turn the tickets back in.. I wouldn’t even go to my sisters wedding..she was getting married on a cruise ship…told her that if mr ford wasnt the CAPTAIN our ass was in dry dock..have fun……

    • LavaLady says:

Glad to see I’m not alone. My husband wants to go on a cruise, and can’t understand why I don’t want to. Virus, fires, people gone missing overboard, and way too many people for my comfort zone. And that’s only the beginning. Funny he hasn’t mentioned it recently.

Congrats on your new job Diva, very happy for you. It just goes to show, people from your past sometimes show up in your future. That’s why I try not to burn bridges.

      • thedesigndiva2 says:

thanks lava lady..what’s funny,, mr ford was the plumber in his house…he still owes him $525.00 for a custom tub…lol lol lol

    • I will never take a cruise either, nope, but what I do not understand with this situation is…..why in 5 long days was more help not dispatched for this ship? Heli’s with food/water, or Coast Guard, National Guard, some-the-f***-body to get some help to them. They virtually left them out there on their own until they limped back. No excuse for that in my mind!! Do.Not.Get.It!

    • mygirlsmom says:

I have been on many cruises. I’ve even been on a cruise on that exact ship. Let me tell you, those poor people were trapped in a special kind of he**. Carnival cruise lines responded very poorly to this whole situation. I will probably cruise again, but not on Carnival for sure.

    • chismosa says:

I took a couple of cruises when I was younger, to Bermuda and somewhere else Caribbean.
They were lovely, but they were not Carnival or the other one that starts with a C I forgot. I thought those were kind of low-end lines no? But I know some combined and stuff so who knows. I’m just an ocean girl but I do adore flying as well.

    • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

I’ve been on 7 cruises (not Carnival or Costa) and I much prefer the smaller ships which they no longer seem to be making. Grand Princess had over 3000 people on it. I didn’t feel too crowded until it came time to debark on arrival home. Ugh. It’s been 7 years since my cruises and awful things have happened which make me rethink cruising but if I could find a ship that holds only 1500 people I might consider it. I do enjoy the ship’s casino LOL.

    • iceNfire says:

Sounds like he opened a can of worms….speaking of litigious, since Bravo removed the preview clip with Paul saying he and Adri are not litigious do you think Bravo re-edited the show?

    • pat says:

Saw that. Those rag mags are bad, but I’m kinda glad they’re pushing back in this instance. If they keep doing so, I’m guessing the defamation suit gets rescinded. Scientology DOES practice “disconnection” and I think Tom has largely abandoned Suri, while not wanting it to look that way to the public at large.

I was just watching an epi of Selling LA on HGTV. Marisa was one of the agents.

    • Catseye says:

I really want to like her, but she has said some really crappy stuff about her husband, who seems very nice so far. I think people who are unhappily married should deal with it OUT of the public eye.

  20. iceNfire says:

Watching Brandi on Anderson Cooper I’m beginning to think that’s the only dress she owns

    • thedesigndiva2 says:

    • She filmed most of the shows all in the same day. She doesn’t have a stylist to help her with wardrobe changes and I think she wants to promote her dress line. I think she said on twitter it was the only dress in her spring collection that was ready in time for her NY trip.

      • iceNfire says:

I keep thinking of the racks of clothes Luann referenced on RHONY reunion and just assumed they all had racks of clothes at hand. my bad

        • nyc mama says:

She mentioned she didn’t have any time to change going directly from one interview to another. She is back in NY next week for more promo’s so depending on her schedule you will either see another dress or several but she doesn’t get the same free clothes that the NY ladies do

          • iceNfire says:

I’d think designers would be jumping at the chance to dress this beauty, free publicity for their name/brand. Not making sense to me…

            • nyc mama says:

I think factors include: she isn’t an A lister, she isn’t wealthy, she isn’t see at hi-profile events, it is only her first year on a reality show and right now she is trying to promote her own line so she needs to wear them. . She said on Anderson that other things weren’t ready.

Maybe next week she will have time to change and showcase some other outfits and I hope they get at least a few different samples ready for her to wear from her line.
I think as she goes forward she will get this together. Like her or hate her, disagree with her lack of filter or admire it, she can make a paperbag look good. She was stunning in the shoot for Christina Makowsky.

            • realhousewifeva says:

She’s trying to promote her own dress line on Amazon, so wearing another designer would defeat that purpose.

  21. Thanks BB for the Project Runway recap. I’m enjoying this season much more than I thought I would. The “teams” concept adds a good twist and in reality most design houses are all collaborations on collections. Of course head designer has ultimate say over things but usually relies on many to bring their vision to fruition.

Bought Brandi’s book on my nook. I really enjoyed it. I admit to having a soft spot for her because I experienced many similarities with emotions, struggles, dating, and custody battles when I went through my divorce. IMO Eddie and Leann are the vilest of people. I despise what they put Brandi and her boys through. My ex fought me on everything and was as horrible as Eddie. Funny how the person who was suppose to love you the most knows exactly how to hurt you the most and which buttons to push. They don’t care about the collaterale damage they do they just want to punish, hurt and annihilate you because you dared to leave them.

Comment to Kyle’s last blog, she never did post this week’s blog on Bravo site – wow

Whenever I see Faye at any get together I can not help but wonder why she is still welcome by anybody in that town and the surrounding areas. I am sorry to bring this up to you Kyle, but Faye is NOT a good friend to have….Nicole Brown Simpson. Need I say more? Yes I am one of those believers that OJ was “innocent” and the real murderer was a “handy man” Faye used in her business and pleasure. Don’t get me wrong, I am no OJ fan, but I do feel a little fanatical mentioning this at all, BUT at the same time I hope you have background checks on all of her people she has running through your house while she is re-decorating it!!!! She is a hanger on, she makes my skin crawl and I too will remove RHBH from my House Wife viewing pleasure should she become part of the cast.

          • iceNfire says:

Hi Nancy – Son is in pain and I’m thinking a lot of pain cuz this is the 1st time in his life he’s actually said ” it hurts”. Norco made him sick to his stomach so I think he stopped taking them. He has managed to keep down rice with chicken broth for the the past couple hours, snacking on saltines and drinking water and green juice. Thanks for asking 🙂

            • Laineylainey says:

Ooh! Sorry he’s hurting! Can he get new meds?

              • iceNfire says:

He isn’t a med kinda kid. He is planning on just staying in bed another day til he’s feeling better, which make me very happy. Thanks for asking Lainey

            • Catseye says:

Make sure he has something on his stomach before he takes any meds, like applesauce even. And ice should be very helpful with the pain after surgery too.

              • iceNfire says:

applesauce! That’s something I hadn’t thought of, thanks Catseye.. I’ve offered and he’s tried fruits and soups, rice and now he’s working on potatoes but he couldn’t keep anything til maybe 3 hours now. baby steps forward is fine with us, not chancing any steps backwards. Doctor says that 1 step on injured foot will undo surgery

                • Nancy says:

There is a medication you can buy called Emitrol. Pregnant women take it for nausea.
Or you can give him a regular coke. Not diet. There is something in the formula that really helps with nausea. That’s the problem with pain meds. They also make you really constipated as well so make sure he’s getting his fiber in. The poor guy.

                  • Nancy says:

                  • iceNfire says:

Thanks Nancy, he doesn’t want to take anymore pills. Maybe the major pain has passed or he just has a high tolerance for pain – idk

                  • chismosa says:

That’s so funny you mention Coke nancy because on the Doctors yesterday they were saying that Coke helps if you have — now I can’t remember the word right— bozeers? Or something like that, a blockage of food in your intestine or stomach.

        • kit9 says:

lol! Apparently maybe you should! Wow, that anyone can still think OJ is innocent is just…..

          • Nancy says:

            Mind boggling!

          • lizzle says:

Someone here said they watched a investigative show about this serial killer, Glen Rogers, who many think murdered Nicole and Ron. They suspect that OJ hired him to steal back a pair of expensive earrings. Honestly, I had never heard this until I read it on this blog. I looked into this story and it seems plausible. Of course, OJ Simpson is just as guilty for hiring this guy, but I think this is what the comment to Kyle’s blog is about. I really don’t care enough to investigate further, so I don’t know if Nicole met him through Faye. OJ might not get out of prison until he is almost 100 and Glen is scheduled to die… so good riddance to both!

            • BB says:

That was me. It is plausible to me that Glen Rogers may have killed Nicole and Ron but OJ was somehow involved. I saw it on the ID channel. Glen Roger’s brother was in the documentary. He’s in prison on FL for another killing but lived very near Brentwood at the time of the Nicole and Ron murders.

            • iceNfire says:

I heard about this serial killer, Glen Rogers from this blog too. I went back to Bravo site to check the profile of the person that left the above comment only to find the history shows this is the only comment ever made, so most likely whoever it is has an agenda. I find it strange that it got approved.

              • lizzle says:

Maybe the intern thought it was funny to let a few crazies comment on the blog. Since approval isn’t automatic, it is subjected to human subjectivity. I really don’t know. My comments have been getting through lately, but it takes a long time for them to get approved. Before the sign in process at Bravo, my comments hardly ever got posted.

Rimes filed a malpractice suit against Dr. Duane C. McKay on Thursday, claiming that the services he’d provided over the past three years have affected her career….”

    Brandi tweeted:
    Brandi Glanville‏@BrandiGlanville
My dentist of 17 yrs Dr. Duane McKay who has done 5 root canals, 2 bridges and completely fixed my TMJ- whom I LOVE is PERFECT ask 007

Leann seems to be everyone’s worst nightmare.

“In 2012, the Daily Mail reported that some research has suggested that women with low IQ – termed “bimbos” by the Mail – may seek to compensate for this by seeking more materially secure and stable spouses in a variant of Darwinian sexual selection.[3] This behavior may be the root of the ‘gold-digger” aspect of bimbo stereotypes.” –wikipedia
