Lisa Vanderpump on Dancing with the Stars / Real Housewives of Beverly Hills / Vanderpump Rules

BB has confirmed that Lisa Vanderpump will be on Dancing With the Stars next season!  It was just announced on Good Morning America.

RHOBH “The Real Housewives of Paris, Part Un” by BB

Beautiful Homes, Beautiful Grounds, Beautiful Views, Beautiful Cities, and Beautiful People.  What could be better for a Housewives episode?

BH 1BH 3Kim has decided something has to be said to Taylor since she seemed to be not so concerned about where her child was while she was jetting off for a weekend with her new boyfriend.  Kim has decided that Taylor has been hitting the sauce too much and she needs to be confronted with it.  Kyle agrees with her but has been too chicken to say anything.  They go over to Taylor’s and Kim does all the talking.  Taylor admits that she may have been trying to mask the way she’s been feeling by drinking too much and tells Kyle she thinks she can curb it on her own.  I’m not going to say whether Kim should have been the one to say something or not, but at least she had the guts to do it.  Wouldn’t Kim know the signs that someone is drinking too much?  Aren’t many addiction counselors former addicts themselves?

BH 2Ken and Lisa discuss going to St. Tropez to visit Ken’s 45 year old son Warren from his first marriage.  The last time they saw Warren was at Pandora’s wedding.  Warren met one of Lisa’s old friends Sue and now lives with her, which has been a little awkward for Lisa.  I enjoy watching Ken and Lisa together, picking out Lisa’s outfits for the trip and talking about what they will do with Giggy.

BH 4 BH 5Yolanda is going to have a get together at Mohammed’s new house. It may not totally be my taste, but it’s opulent and not in a garish sort of way.  Fashion critique here.  Yolanda looks good in her bold blue and black dress, but I wish she’d neaten up her hair a little.  I think she’s trying to look like she’s not trying too hard.  Lisa looks great in her black lace dress and she’s put her hair up.  Nice change for Lisa.  Marisa arrives in an off-white kind of plain dress with a large Native American looking necklace.  Marisa dresses kind of bland most of the time.  Her hair is braided and pulled back from the sides.  Taylor is wearing a sparkly black dress with raglan sleeves.  Brandi is wearing a short (not too low cut) blue dress and her friend Jennifer is wearing a black top with white pants.

BH 6When the introductions are made, Mohammed declares that he has known Brandi for a long time.  Brandi declares she’s too old for Mohammed and he’s too old for her.  Adrienne will not be coming and Yolanda, Lisa and Brandi look so happy and relieved.  Marisa once again embarrasses her husband by saying something inappropriate about seeing other men and wanting them.  I’m beginning to fall off the fence about her and not to the liking side.  Kyle arrives and I can’t even describe her brown/black/sparkly-trimmed get-up.  It’s ugly.  While Yolanda is explaining her recent trip to Europe, I can definitely tell she’s having trouble focusing due to her being sick with Lyme disease and not knowing it.

BH 7BH 8All the women discuss going to Paris together.  Taylor declines the offer because she wants to spend time with Kennedy before she has to go back to school.  Yolanda pulls Taylor to the side and asks her if she has a problem with her because she’s heard it from three of the other girls.  Taylor acts like she has no problem with Yolanda.  Taylor’s problem is that she’s good friends with David’s ex-wife, Linda Thompson and I guess she feels a loyalty to her.  Yolanda tells Kyle about her conversation Taylor and Kyle reminds her about David’s ex.  Yolanda tells Kyle that David’s ex has said she’s still in love with him and wishes they were still together.  Yolanda says obviously Taylor is lying and she will wait until she wants to talk to her about it.  Taylor doesn’t think it’s the right time to do so.

BH 9Ken and Lisa arrive at Warren and Sue’s house in St. Tropez.  Another beautiful place.  Warren has done well for himself by owning properties in Notting Hill.  Ken also has a 21 year old grandson.  When Lisa tells Warren and Sue they will be there for three days, Sue voices her dismay that they are going to have to put up with Ken and Lisa for three whole days.  Ken, Lisa, Giggy, Warren, Sue and grandson Brian meet at a lovely St. Tropez beach.  Ken wishes he could see his son and grandson more often.  Beautiful beach.BH 22

Everyone arrives at the LA airport at various times to board the plane to Paris.  Yolanda, Kim and Kyle are comfortably but fashionably dressed.  Brandi isn’t dressed for a long plane ride.  Kim has her driver’s license and her passport (unlike the disaster trip to Hawaii).  Kyle and Kim have a conversation while waiting to board about how Kim used to try to hide her drinking, like having wine in a coffee cup instead of coffee.  Kyle tells Kim she knew pretty much everything that was going on.  Kyle is relieved they can openly talk about it now.

Marisa calls Kyle and informs her that Dean’s father collapsed the night before and they won’t be making the trip.  He passed away shortly after.  I remember seeing his name on the memoriam tribute when I was flipping through the Oscars and thought at the time he must have died either during the filming or after filming because Marisa was talking about him in the present tense up until then.

Ken, Lisa, Warren and Sue go to dinner on their last night in St. Tropez.  They discuss the next time they might be able to get together.  Ken would love for them to live in Beverly Hills but knows Warren’s business is in London.  There are only five years in age difference between Lisa and Warren and she has made it her business to embrace Ken’s son (not literally) and get along with him because she loves Ken.  When Ken says they will be leaving the next day at 11, Sue tells Warren, “Thank God.  It’s Been Exhausting.”  I’m do not like Sue very much.  The next day Warren has gotten Lisa and Ken a helicopter to take them back to Paris.

BH 10BH 33 BH 44 BH 55The others arrive in Paris and check into the hotel.  The views from their balconies are breathtaking.  Kyle and Mauricio are being romantic, while Yolanda is missing her man David.  That evening they all meet on Brandi’s hotel room balcony to have drinks and wait for the fireworks to begin.  Brandi and Yolanda drink to new beginnings and talk about how beautiful Paris is.  Kyle and Mauricio arrive and are soon followed by Giggy walking in alone.  Lisa and Ken are right behind Giggy, and Kyle is calling Kim asking where she is.  Kim is going to miss the fireworks if she’s doesn’t hurry.  Kim tells her she’s coming and Kyle has a little worried look on her face.

After a little discussion about threesomes (Brandi has with restrictions and Kyle has not and never, ever would), and talking about Marisa’s father-in-law’s passing, Kim finally arrives.  Kim is acting like the “old” Kim before her latest rehab.  Could it be jet lag?  Could it be something other than alcohol?  Could Kim have fallen off the wagon?  Something is definitely not right with Kim.  Love the fireworks.  No Adrienne, No Camille, No Faye.  Ahhhh!  How refreshing!  Next week will be more fun and drama in the City of Lights.

Vanderpump Rules Finale by NoMoreDrama

We open with Stassi and Jax styling their dogs. It’s been a week since Jax declared his re-love for Stassi, She’s okay being friends, but still doesn’t trust him.  He whines because he thinks a week is long enough for her to forgive him and take him back.

Laura Leigh quits to do a movie with Jennifer Aniston - remember that face (from

Laura Leigh quits to do a movie with Jennifer Aniston – remember that face (from

Laura Leigh tells Lisa she’s quitting because she got a great part in a movie with Jennifer Anison.  She wants to tell Jax that he sucks and will be a bartender forever, but Lisa convinces her not to – because she needs a bartender.  Lisa voices over that no one wanted anything to do with Laura Leigh and now she’s got her break.  Payback is a bitch.

Kristen and Stassi talk it out (

Kristen and Stassi talk it out (

Peter tells Stassi and Kristen that Laura Leigh has quit.  Stassi is excited.  Kristen is contemplative, and asks Stassi to talk.  They talk it out.  Kristen says that the fight was about Frank.  Stassi says that they drove her to Frank.  (That’s just insane).  She explains she was lonely all summer and they ditched her (maybe because she was really mean to them in Vegas).  Anyway – they hug it out because Kristen can’t even remember why she’s mad anymore.  Good for them.  No need to drag the fight out – especially since Frank is long gone.

Lisa is at her home, wearing a white dress that shows off her assets.  Everyone comes over to do a photoshoot.  Sheana shows up, even though she acted like a baby at the VIP party (where Lisa said she couldn’t work because Brandi was there.)  Apparently Lisa has moved on.  Lisa lets them change in her room (I hope she put away her valuables).  She tells them not to touch anything.  This is the third time we’ve seen Lisa’s closet – how wierd.  Stassi finds Lisa’s tiara (that she wore to Pandy’ wedding).  Holy cow they are all trying on Lisa’s jewelry.  I hope she’s keeping track of it.  Now they get in to swimwear.  I swear I saw Peter stuffing his swimsuit.  No lie.  Lisa confronts Stassi about having dinner with Frank at VillaBlanca.  Lisa says she wants things to blow up.  Stassi pretends she’s innocent – but Lisa has her number.

Jax explains to the camera that everyone in Hollywood stuffs their swimsuit (from

Jax explains to the camera that everyone in Hollywood stuffs their swimsuit (from

Lisa makes the girls do a swimsuit photo shoot.  Jax then confronts Stassi about hanging out with Frank again.  Jax says that has to stop.  He wonders when it’s time to give up (he’s been working on this relationship an entire week.)  Stassi tells him he has a lot to prove but he’s not wasting his time.  They then do a some photos together – and this time Jax stuffs his swimsuit with a sock.

Jax is seeing a therapist.  He tells her that he used to be normal – two years of community college, but now he’s living like a rock star (does he not know he’s a bartender?)  He says that he’s made up a lie – his real name is Jason – he’s been telling people he finished college – etc.  He then tells her about Stassi and how he can’t ever do anything right.  She asks why he’s with her.  He explains that he loves her – they met in Vegas and moved in together a few days later.  He claims that he didn’t cheat on Stassi – that Frank lied.  The therapist tells him that if he’s lying to her he can come back later and fess up – that people lie to her all the time.

It’s the second day of the photo shoot.  The restaurant is closed for the day.  Lisa has hired the best photographers and they have borrowed designer clothes.  Lisa is pleased that her waitresses are so gorgeous.  Sheana is finally fitting in with the other girls.  Stassi says she has a girl-crush on Sheana.

Why did the photographer make Stassi and Sheana kiss? (

Why did the photographer make Stassi and Sheana kiss? (

After the photo shoot, Sheana realizes she needs more screen time so she apologizes to Lisa for being a big baby about the VIP party.  Sheana cries about not having resolved everything with Brandi.  Sheana says she’s got a lot of respect for Lisa, and wants Lisa to have the same respect for her.  Good luck with that – perhaps you shouldn’t act like a baby.  Wait – Lisa is forgiving her.  I suppose she isn’t as bad as the rest of them.  Jeesh – the outtakes show Stassi and Sheana having to kiss for the photoshoot.  I just find this very strange – the whole thing.

Jax quits. Surprisingly Lisa seems disappointed (from

Please accept these flowers while I tell you that I cheated on you, had unprotected sex with strangers, and then lied about it and demonized everyone that tried to tell you the truth. Can we still date? (from

And with fifteen minutes left in the season ….  Jax walks into the after-photo shoot party and tells Lisa that he wants to quit because it isn’t healthy for him to be at SUR.  Lisa is pissed because he pleaded to keep his job a few weeks ago.  Lisa clearly wants him to stay, but accepts his resignation and tells him it is time for him to grow up.

Then he finds Stassi and gives her a bouquet of supermarket flowers.  Then Jax finally confesses what we’ve suspected all along – that he DID cheat on Stassi in Vegas.  Obviously my opinion of this jerk can’t get any lower. Stassi is pissed, because not only did he lie, but he also demonized the other people like Frank who told the truth.  She calls him an asshole.  He tries to excuse it by saying they were going through a bad time.  She calls him on the B.S.  He apologizes and says there is no excuse, and that he loves her.  She’s not buying it because she lost all her friends the past summer because of his lies.  He tells her he’s going to disappear and never call her or speak to her again.  She says that’s what she wants.  He leaves.  Somehow I doubt this is over – but we’ll see at the reunion.

No one is pleased that Jax lied to them all summer (

No one is pleased that Jax lied to them all summer (

Then Jax tells everyone else.  The guys that had his back all summer are floored.   He basically admits he’s got huge problems – and I’ve got to wonder what happened to make him fess up.  That’s a lie.  I really don’t care.  I just hope he’s moved on and out of Stassi’s life.

Eight episodes.  Eight hours of my life wasted.  The reunion is next week.  Is there really anything else to say?  It seems like they rehashed the same stuff all season.

  1. not THAT Jill says:

    Good Morning all
NMD-I’m so happy for you that VP rules is over!!! Even though I watched, I could turn it off when it annoyed me-you on the other hand had to suffer through!! Thanks!!!!

    • I really had to force myself to watch it last night 😦 I just hope everyone gets themselves tested for STDs.

    • LaineyLainey says:

Good morning, JNNTJ – my DD and I loved watching VPrules!! We always had a really good laugh. Jax(Jason) is not a bad actor – we believed him!!!

      • not THAT Jill says:

I didn’t believe Jason for a second-but I still don’t like Stacci. She maybe the most annoying person EVER!!!

        • LaineyLainey says:

Stassi reminds us of someone we know; so we find her rather endearing (annoying, yes) but her come-backs/reactions/facial expressions are funny to us sometimes.

          • not THAT Jill says:

She so mean and entitled-I have no patience for someone in their 20’s who think they should be treated like a princess…. Maggie wants to be princess

            • LaineyLainey says:

She is all those things…but that’s part of why she makes us laugh, I guess? From where does a girl like this (not of the manor born) get this delusional confidence/arrogance? Princess Maggie…I love it!!!

              • not THAT Jill says:

Is it confidence? Is it arrogance? maybe its just immaturityI. laughed when her parents were on-they were scared of her!! Like she would turn on them at any second!!!

                • LaineyLainey says:

Yes, her parents made us laugh, too!!!

                • Powell says:

Maybe her parents shouldn’t have gotten her that chin implant.

                  • LaineyLainey says:

That saved her. Funny comment, though!!!! She transformed…didn’t they say that??

                  • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

OMG, that chin implant made a WORLD of difference for her. One would think that she would be a MUCH nicer person seeing how homely she was before that chin implant. However, it’s like it turned her into a terror instead.

            • iceNfire says:

I saw very little of it but did see Stassi looking into the camera. I guess she had to make sure the cameras were on her before she wasted all her tears.

              • LaineyLainey says:

Another source of laughter for us…how much she looks for/at the camera.

                • iceNfire says:

I still think they were all auditioning for a movie or something and they are not waitstaff at all…kinda like the AI of realityland

                  • LaineyLainey says:

Yes, Ice – they pretty much stated as much. Maybe it was Kristen? something like “We’re not really waiters, we’re actors, dancers, models, etc. waiting for our big break…” loosely quoted. It was a big audition, then, wasn’t it?

                    • iceNfire says:

Really Lainey??? I missed that. I hope Stassi doesnt get a role in anything I’d be watching…just couldnt take it

                    • LaineyLainey says:

Stassi works as a model; but she wants to be a fashion writer. clarification: I think they really do/did work there but that’s not what they really WANT to be doing. Oh and the bartender with the longish hair is a filmmaker. I think Jax’s career will take off from here. Wendy (from last night’s WWHL show) said that his forehead vein should have it’s own show. LOL!!

        • Powell says:

Can’t stand her. I don’t see what Pandora wants w/her as a friend. But you saw her parents right? They laughed that Lisa fired Frank for what he said to “customers”. “She didn’t fire you for that?”. WTH???

          • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I can’t see Stassi and Pandora as friends either. Pandora seems so classy and kind. Stassi seems so….well, not that. I don’t get it. I guess opposites attract.

    • Powell says:

JNNTJ it annoyed me all season. I’ve only watched a few full epis. The others I turned when I couldn’t take it anymore.

      • not THAT Jill says:

It was hard to watch at times Powell!! How am I the only person who didn’t know that Stacci has a chin implant?????

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Maybe you missed the episode, Jive Turkey. 😉

I honestly don’t think Stassi would have EVER mentioned that on the show. She strikes me as someone who would want the world to think she was always a “pretty girl” (the way Frank told her she suffered from “pretty girl disease”). It was her Mom who busted her and said, “Oh, Stassi wasn’t ALWAYS a pretty girl. She was a lot heavier. She had no boyfriend and hardly any friends. All she would do is come home every day after school and eat bread from the inside out. It wasn’t until she got that chin implant that things changed for her.”

Stassi looked a little taken aback that her Mom said all that on camera (however, her Mom and Dad, by their own admission, had been drinking all morning by the time they filmed that scene. A DRUNK mouth speaks a SOBER mind).

          I was secretly pleased. 🙂

  2. Powell says:

Good morning everyone. It’s cold out today. Brrrrrr. I hope you all are warm. Have a great day.

  3. Here is the full DWTS liineup (I think)

    Jacoby Jones- Karina Smirnoff
    DL Hughley- Cheryl Burke
    Wynonna Judd- Tony Dovolani
Lisa Vanderpump- Leb Subjenco (sp?/new dancer)
Andy Dick- Charma Burgess (sp?/new dancer)
Victor Ortiz- Lindsay Arnold (new dancer- from “So You Think You Can Dance?”)
    Zendaya Coleman- Val C.
    Aly Raisman- Mark Ballas
    Ingo Rademacher- Kym Johnston
    Kellie Pickler- Derek Hough
    Dorothy Hamill- Tristan McManus

Yeah another gymnast – Aly Raisman. Sorry Lisa but …. I thought Derek Hough was done with the series?? Lots of new pros. Interesting ….

  4. HuskerHuny says:

If it was Kim’s place or not, I thought her approach to telling Taylor that maybe she should lay off the alcohol was handled very nicely but firmly. She showed such compassion and it looked like Taylor took it to heart. We’ll see . . .

Vanderpump Rules is over as well as Shahs of Sunset; I will not miss either one. Looking foward to Rachael Zoe and the other fashion shows. I would rather see more fashion than the personal drama though. I sure hope Rachael didn’t put Anne Hathaway in that awful Oscar dress. Anne said she changed her mind at the last minute as to what she would wear and boy howdy, did she make a horrible choice.

For those of you who are again experiencing another blast of winter, I feel for you. Huskerland is very overcast, but warm and dry. Half of the snow we got on Thursday has melted away. C’mon spring!

    • Kansas Girl says:

You lucked out missing this storm. A friend in southern KC has a foot. It’s extremely wet. Slid off my car (and now I have to shovel in front of the car before I can drive). The trees are beautiful, but bowed very low. Lots of power out (not here). Wind. So the trees are swaying and thank goodness snow is falling off them. I have constant booms from globs of snow falling on the roof. Shoveling this is going to be hard work, but the streets should clean up with the big plows.

      • HuskerHuny says:

Heavy, wet snow is never good. It piles up on tree limbs, they give away and more times than not, fall on power lines and then POP! no power. Hope that is not the case with you.

My daughter lives south of Kansas City and I haven’t heard anything from her concerning the weather. She has to drive to Warrensburg, MO to the University of Central Missouri for school, but I think a lot, if not most, of her classes are online.

Don’t be in a big hurry to scoop yet, maybe the sun will come out! I hate it when the plows come down my street and then push all of the street snow up into my freshly scooped driveway. HATE THAT!!!

        • Kansas Girl says:

So far, so good. It’s above freezing, so the streets have slushy tracks. I did shovel my sidewalk. There’s a lot of slush under the snow. It’s mostly fallen off the trees now. I “cleared” my driveway again by driving back and forth. This was not the huge storm they were predicting — at least not here. Check in with your daughter, Husker, as south of KC was to get much more snow.

    • Powell says:

I thought Anne went w/Brad as his stylist his 1st season of Brad World?

  5. vilzvet says:

They’re all going to Paris at the same time, what a nice plot device, huh? Why would Kyle and Mo be headed there? Remember when she was agonizing over leaving her kids to do that weekend bike only a couple of hours away? LOL. And broke Brandi and Taylor can just agree to go on a whim too!

  6. Contessa says:

I just went over to Bravo and read the blogs, very surprised by Taylips blog. She readily admits she was self-medicating with alcohol and also taking meds for depression etc…she also talks about anger and grief (been there and I understand the anger part, because when someone dies unexpectedly there are so many unresolved issues). She doesn’t think Kim should be the one handing out advice and is not yet in the position to counsel about addiction. She claims she had help and left BH for the mountains (and to be with her new man no doubt). She also apologizes to Yolanda as she said she felt jealous of the perfect life and the two happy marriages Yolanda had and she felt she had nothing. I think this is the first honest or close to honest blog she has written, unless a press person wrote it for her. However it sounds like she is growing up if she wrote it and taking responsibility for her part in her disastrous marriage.

    • iceNfire says:

Their blogs seem to say that both Kim and Taylor are doing good now but didn’t we just see Taylor drunk on WWHL? As for Kim I think she was drunk when she confronted Taylor about her drinking.

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

      Hi Contessa,

I agree with everything you said. I do think Taylor sounded a little angry toward and resentful of Kim being the one to point out her problem to her. Maybe that’s just me, though.

I hope you are feeling better.

    • Rebecca says:

I don’t see Kim as counseling her, just putting it out there that they all se her drinking too much.

  7. AZGirl says:

Good morning everyone. I missed BH last night. I always enjoy chatting during BH with my “Lynn Buddies”. Good friend came over and needed to talk. Hopefully I can catch up later this week. Thanks BB and NMD for the recaps.

  8. realhousewifeva says:

Good morning. WOW, good for Lisa for landing DWTS! How will she have the time to do it, she seems so busy..

According to this picture, Jax is not only lying about cheating:

  9. iceNfire says:

Good Morning and Yippie for DWTS – I’ll vote for Lisa til she leaves, which I think will be quickly,
she’s too busy and then I’ll do what I always do and vote for Derek Hough

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

IMO, Derek Hough and Mark Ballas are the best dance teachers. If Julianne Hough were still there, I’d put her in that category too.

I always had the HOTS for Max and loved watching him and listening to his sexy Russian accent (I have a “thing” for accents, though). I hope I can find some more eye candy to enjoy while I watch (I thoroughly enjoyed the seasons William Levy and Gilles Marini were on because they were eye candy too). I can be SUCH a shallow b*tch at times. *Shrug*

  10. Good Morning! Warm thoughts to all of you who are still getting snow and cold weather. It was 39 degrees here this morning, O.O, but still no moisture. I would take just a little of that snow off your hands (and yards!) if I could. Be safe and warm today…and make some good cold weather comfort food! 🙂

Now, about BH…..first off, that scene with Kim & Taylor was so scripted and fake my eyes bugged out asking me if I was seeing what I was seeing. It was terrible of Bravo to exploit both the women. Even Kyle, with her ever present “smirk” wasn’t buying it. Even tho most addiction counselors are former addicts, Kim is clearly not far enough past her addiction issues to be counseling anyone else. And, as we saw later in the Paris balcony scene, she may not be past them at all. She was very obviously “on something”.

I am beginning to really dislike Bravo for doing this stuff.

Having said that….loved the epi for the other faaabulous things like, houses and clothes and Paris, oh my! 😛 And who wouldn’t love seeing Lisa run is 5 inch heels across a slippery floor? THAT should help her on DWTS. Which I am quite surprised she is doing, but it will bring the viewers for sure and give BH a huge bump in ratings. DD and I used to watch DWTS, but not the last few seasons as it seemed to loose its luster. I do not know half of the cast list this season, so not sure I will make the time to watch. Maybe record so I can FF for Lisa’s scenes! LOL!

NMD… glad VPRules is over for you! That bullet you had to bite to watch it? Please don’t shoot yourself in the foot when you have to watch the reunion! I don’t see that show returning. I hope it was worth it for however it was done for. What a waste of production time.

Now a question….do any of you think Kyle has an odd obsession with her arms? She seems to wear so many dresses/blouses with weird sleeves. Everyone has a body part they dislike (or a few, like me!) but I wondered about that before. Last nights brown dress was an odd choice IMHO.

So…..have a lovely Tuesday everyone. May it be a pleasant day for you all!

New post, “Tuesday Affirmation ~ Accomplishing Perseverance”, is up at my place. Enjoy!

  12. iceNfire says:

I wonder why Kyle is stuck in the ’80’s, did anyone notice those pants with the race stripe down the side that she wore to Taylor’s house? I had those in the ’80’s they were jogging pants and Kyle wears them with heals?? #NotCute

  13. I thought Kim handled the confrontation with Taylor well…but have to agree that most addiction counselors who are recovering addicts themselves usually have a few more years of sobriety under their belts.

Taylor is making too much sense for me lately. I resent that. If she isn’t going to give me stuff to pick apart, I’m going to have to start talking to my husband more often…and we can’t have that. 😉

    • AZGirl says:

      He,he,he….its Taylor’s fault

    • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I know what you mean about Taylor. I can’t believe I have actually enjoyed that SOCIOPATH over the past few episodes.

And I cannot stand myself for it.

When she drunkenly showed her a*s at Lisa’s tea and went after Adrienne and kind of called Kyle out, I was LMAO. I then said to myself, “Self, we are not supposed to enjoy or laugh at or be on Taylor’s side because she is evil and must be destroyed.” Despite that, I did not listen to myself, and I’ve kinda liked her (despite myself) over the last couple of episodes.

I want this feeling to STOP….SOON!!! It’s turning my world upside down.

    • TexasTart says:

LOL! Kukulet, I resent that too!!! LOL.

  14. VV says:

  15. realhousewifeva says:

I have to say, Taylor’s blog seemed really honest. I almost felt sympathy for her for a bit.

    • lizzle says:

I almost said this a few days ago when someone was floored that people are starting to like Taylor a bit more than last season. She is being more honest… starting with her opening line to the show about fighting for the zip code and not giving it up. It might not be modest, but it was the first time that I had ever heard her say something that honest.

      • dch60 says:

Let’s remember that she IS a con artist. She obviously isn’t be that truthful because there’s been several times since this filmed that she’s been as drunk as a skunk. It reminds me of Kelly Bensimone supposedly being the “voice of reason” the season before she was canned. I didn’t see Kelly as that and I’m not buying Taylor’s turn around either. I also can’t forget the damage that she has already done.

  16. Beckygrey says:

I had to chuckle at Lisa’s friend/daughter-in-law? Lisa says that both she and Ken didn’t like the secrets of Sue and Warren.I can assume Ken and Lisa weren’t very nice as the relationship was developing.. It would seem hypocritical of Lisa and Ken when they too are 16 years apart. I don’t think I would feel comfortable with my girlfriend secretly dating my stepson.

    • BB says:

I think maybe Lisa was probably more uncomfortable with the “friend” dating her step-son part than the age part. And to be honest, even in today’s enlightened society, older women/younger men still aren’t as easily accepted as the older man/younger women relationships. I mean a much bigger deal was made about Adrienne and her boy toy than Paul and his 20-something beauty queen.

      • realhousewifeva says:

I don’t know why older women like to be with much younger men because men usually age better. Just looking at Lisa and Ken, they match and look good together. But when you look at Warren and Sue, she looks so much older, like she could be his mom! I would rather look younger than my husband. lol

        • BB says:

          I’m with you!

        • Amalfi says:

I thought that was his mom. actually while flipping through. It wasn’t? Though I must say, Warren does not look 45 at all – I woud’ve guessed early/mid 30s. Maybe that is why – they don’t quite go….

        • pat says:

Totally agree. Men age better physically, but they mature emotionally much more slowly. I don’t know how old Sean Stewart is, but he’s a serious airhead. He dated another much older sugar mama prior to Adrienne, and they were engaged. Not sure what happened with that. Maybe she wanted a prenup.

  17. pat says:

Well, I’m in the minority in that I’m not convinced that Taylor is being so honest. She’s a con artist. She definitely is self-medicating, and judging by her WWHL appearance, that is still happening. But IMO, her stress might be about all the balls she has in the air (lies) all the time. And that we, the viewers, weren’t buying her con, or her book.

    • realhousewifeva says:

I agree that she’s clearly still drinking way too much, I guess I was talking more about her being honest when she admitted a big part of her issues with Yolanda had to do with jealousy. I see behavior like that a lot but usually women won’t admit that they don’t like someone simply because they are jealous of them.

      • pat says:

Yes, that did seem like a sincere apology to Yolanda, in taylor’s blog. When I saw the scene between them, I wondered if Taylor even remembered trash-talking Yo, since she was usually drunk.

Tho I may not be convinced about Taylor’s new honesty approach, I’m still on the fence about how I feel about her staying with the show. As Ice says below, she knows where the bodies are buried!

        • TITS is only azz kissing now because her BF needs business connections and he wants her to look good for him…that relationship wont survive the year…
I’ll bet you dollars to donuts he had someone from his office write her blogs…she needs to just go away and take care of raising her daughter….

          hugs and peace

        • iceNfire says:

    • not THAT Jill says:

I totally think she is in spin control mode right now. She had lots to say about Yolanda but now she is kissing her ass in her blog-I don’t buy it. There were so many stories about her drunken antics and now she is trying desperately to clean up her image. I believe she is full of crap-

    • dch60 says:

Thank you! I just commented on the same thing a bit upthread. We can’t forget, she’s a con artist. She didn’t fool me the first time and she’s not fooling me now either.

  18. pat says:

Also, Taylor was dating pretty quickly after Russell dies. There was a guy before the married lawyer. And how does she “go to the mountains” for the winter? Doesn’t Kennedy need to be in school?

    • Catseye says:

Yes. And for someone supposed to be overcome with legal bills, I would think a legitimate, long-term job would be MORE of a priority. (I wonder if she is receiving survivor benefits from Soc. Sec.?)

      • lillybee says:

That would depend on how much income Russell declared on his income tax. I have a feeling he wasn’t very honest about it.

        • I’m sure that Kennedy is recieving some sort of death benefit…also don’t forget Russell had other children….and there is a big tax lien against both of them…

  19. realhousewifeva says:

Did anyone watch preview clips for next week? I felt a little bad for Kyle when she was in her talking head saying how she had been replaced in Lisa’s life by Brandi.

I’m almost feeling that Brandi is replacing Lisa with Yolanda.

Will be interesting to see the dynamics next season.

    • Jules says:

But why would Lisa what to be friends with Kyle when she says she feels Lisa is manipulative and such. And why does Kyle want to be friends with Lisa when she feels that way about her. No more free meals at Villa Blanc for Kyle.

    • BB says:

What does Kyle expect? She seems to not be aware how hurt Lisa was at the way she acted at the reunion when it came to the Lisa take-down. Too sensitive or not, justified or not, Lisa will probably never totally trust Kyle again. And I see Lisa and Yolanda both as mentors to Brandi. I don’t really see a competition. Lisa and Ken spend lots of time together. Yolanda seems to spend a lot of time alone because of David’s work, so maybe she has more time to spend with Brandi. See, I have this all figured out. Lol!

      • not THAT Jill says:

What I don’t understand is why doesBrandi need a mentor? She is a 40 year old grown woman with 2 kids not some young chick who has just hatched. It annoys me that she seems to look at Lisa as a mother type when Lisa isn’t all that much older than she is.

        • BB says:

Do you think she acts like a mature 40 year old grown woman? I didn’t think so. I had career mentors, even at age 40. Brandi has life mentors. 😀

          • not THAT Jill says:

I think she acts like a naive child when it suits her and I think she acts like a ballsy bi*ch when it suits her. The naive child one annoys me.

            • Catseye says:

              I agree.

            • LaineyLainey says:

Interesting. Don’t all women do that to some extent? No? I kind of do. Well, I don’t do naive child, but I do pull the “you’re so much stronger than I am, do you mind going up to the attic to bring down the box of books?” etc.

          • pat says:

I think it’s good for women to serve as mentors for one another, at any age.

            • not THAT Jill says:

-Brandi needs to be taken care of. That is not the same as being mentored.

              • LaineyLainey says:

I’m thinking she (BG) is becoming more independent all of the time. At least one of her main messages in her book (imo) is that all women should do for themselves and never let themselves live quite so vulnerably as she did when she completely trusted Eddie to take care of her and the boys. Yolanda and Lisa DO seem to be good mentors to her, imo. But it doesn’t hurt that they are super generous, too, I’m sure. 😉

            • LaineyLainey says:

I agree, Pat. She can learn a lot from these classy (but fun) ladies.

            • Catseye says:

I absolutely do, too. As long as the mentor doesn’t get used and/or taken advantage of, in the process.

            • trudie says:

              Totally agree.

            • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I agree. I serve as mentors for others (Those poor people. They have no idea how much of a mess I am. WHY they want MY mentoring is beyond me! They claim it helps, though, so….go figure), and I also still have people that serve as mentors for me in both a professional and personal capacity.

        • LaineyLainey says:

Because she was raised by drug-addled hippies.

      • pat says:

Lisa is doing the exact right thing, in keeping Kyle a bit at arm’s length. Kyle will never get it, but she was a terrible friend.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Kyle has got to be one of the LEAST self-aware persons on the planet! She does not deserve Lisa’s friendship, IMO.

      • Beckygrey says:

Plus Brandi has a boyfriend so I’m sure she will be spending time with her family and him.

    • VV says:

Funny Kyle says that. Kyle was partner in crime on the take Lisa down at Reunion S2. Kyle became buddy buddy with Taylor during S1 whom she hardly knew. I don’t feel bad for her. She’s not a good friend. There are consequences for your actions..

      • iceNfire says:

When Lisa calls Kyle out next week for saying Lisa is manipulative and such and Kyle says “but that’s how I feel” I want to hear Lisa say ” Then, why do you want to be friends with me Kyle, what’s in it for you?”…That’s exactly the kind of thing Lisa Would say…Lisa is The Queen of The World!

        • iceNfire says:

This may be the 1st time I’ve actually liked 3 Hw’s (Yo,Lisa,Brandi) within 1 franchise. I hate everyone of them in Jersey, always have

        • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I wish Lisa WOULD say that.

I also wish she would say, “Well, Kyle, I feel you are a backstabber who has been very disloyal to me; therefore, I no longer trust you as far as I can throw you and no longer want to be B.F.F.’s. We CAN be cordial co-workers who might have a laugh and a drink every now and then, though, you jealous SNAKE. I’m sorry. That’s ALL my manipulative arse (Lisa will say arse I’m sure, as she is British. I’d say “ass,” with emphasis!!) has to give you right now. Take it or leave it, Vyle (I would follow that with “Before I throw your ass off this balcony because you are giving me the blues and seriously cramping my Paris style and trip!! I really don’t have time to play with you, Vyle!! And don’t start that fake-ass, actress-y crying either!! It didn’t work for you in your rather unsuccessful acting career, and it’s not going to work for me now!! MOVE IT, Toots, so I can continue to get my Paris on!!” Lisa would NEVER say any of that because she is too classy. I would say ALL of that. *Shrug*).

Hey everyone. Hope everyone is having a good day or at least have something positive happening to get you through whatever you are dealing with. I read all the time even if I can’t comment my heart goes out to all those struggling with things in their life.

Welcome back Detox! I hope things with your uncle go as well as possible because that treatment is tough stuff. It is so hard to deal with even if all you can do is be a support to your loved one because watching people suffer is never easy. My boyfriend’s dad has cancer and even in my limited role it breaks my heart to know that he is suffering, not just from the illness but also the treatment.

Also wanna say I am enjoying your Mob Wives blog. Since I don’t have that channel anymore and still don’t have a computer I can watch videos on, I love that you go into so much detail because I feel like I’m not missing anything.

Thank you to everyone else who contributes on this blog. I loved them when I had cable and could watch and I am desperately hooked now that I can only keep up through those who blog about the shows.

  24. stellastars21 says:

I did this before so there may be some repeats but I thought it’d be fun to do some more local/Hawaiian sayings. If any of you get to come to Hawaii then you’ll be able to understand everyone and what we call pidgeon language. Lol. Some may be misspelled because I usually don’t see these Hawaiian words in writing. Haha.

Niele (knee-el-lay): Nosy, all up in everyone’s business.

    Hapai (Ha-pie): Pregnant

Grind: To eat, also used to refer to food

Ono (oh-no): Delicious (a common phrase is Ono Kine Grinds= delicious food)

    Pau (pow): Finished, done.

Holoholo (ho-low-ho-low) To go play, have a good time.

Buggah: used to refer to a thing or a person (buggah is ono = that is delicious)

    Populi (po-pull-ly): Crazy

    Maki (Ma-key): Die

Lick: To beat up (common phrase is Like I Lick You), no one ever takes this sexually lol.

    Tree: Three

Just a few common phrases are: Where you stay? = Where are you? Da kine = thing or person you’re referring to and people usually know what you mean by the context. I like = asking for something like if you see someone eating something you want then you might say I like, if you speak pidgeon. You stay pau? = Are you done?

One thing about local pronunciations is that people tend to leave the T sound at the ends of words off if a C comes before the T. Like the word ACT is pronounced ACK. You might notice that if you talk to local people

That’s just a few. I should get back to work. I’ll post more as I think of them.

I’m just wondering if this is a South African thing or just a wierd group of people whose paths have crossed? Pistorious is having a private memorial service for his dead girlfriend of 4 months while out on bail for her murder; his brother is under some type of arrest for killing a bicyclist; the lead detective is under some type of arrest for firing into a bus; and now the judge’s cousin allegedly poisoned her two kids and then killed herself.

    • Catseye says:

Yikes!!! Never heard of such a thing. My doctor of 20 plus years is from there, and I can’t think of a classier person. Weird.

    Hi Everybody,

I’ve read some of the comments but not all of them (I’m going to go back up and respond to those to which I feel like responding after I send this).

I just want to ask for your prayers and for you to wish me luck on this job for which I just applied. I JUST found it online this morning, and the deadline to apply was TODAY. So, I’ve been a busy beaver filling out the voluminous questionnaire and attaching my resume’ and other things. It’s a position with my State, which will not necessarily make me a millionaire, but it will provide me with the opportunity to represent and work with juveniles and people with disabilities (2 BIG interests of mine for both personal reasons having to do with a disabled mother and mentally handicapped brother and because I really like kids). I’ve only ever done corporate, but this will give me a chance to feel like I’m doing more “giving back” (It’s a good feeling).

So, thanks for any future prayers and wishes of luck sent.

P.S.: I’m now going back up to read and comment on the stupid housewives and anything else that strikes my fancy. I’m so glad I can play with “the cool kids” again today. 😉

  31. BB says:

Brandi admits she’s in trouble for talking about salaries on the Howard Stern show. Funny she doesn’t mention Lisa as a friend when asked. I wonder if she assumes that’s a given. Hmmmmmm.

    • VV says:

I wouldn’t worry about Lisa and Brandi. They interact on twitter a lot all in good fun.

    • iceNfire says:

      Brandi on Leann:
“It’s just the way she acted afterwards, it was like, ‘Nah, nah, nah I got your family,’ and that’s why I think she’s very disliked.”

    • RealHousewifeVA says:

Uh oh i knew that would get her in trouble. not sure why she felt the need to share salaries. It’s tacky to share your own, let alone your coworkers. In real life, that can get people fired

      • LaineyLainey says:

The Bravo lawyers are thinking “note to self: include a sentence barring actors from revealing any salaries earned.”

        • RealHousewifeVA says:

I wonder if they did have something like that already. She even said she wasn’t supposed to say but she was going to anyway (when she was on Howard Stern)

  32. I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

    Hey Guys,

Me again. My Mom just came and told me that my Uncle’s been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. They also say that there is nothing they can do.

I wish somebody in the family would suggest taking my uncle to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston (I don’t feel it’s my place), which is one of the best cancer treatment centers in the country, and it’s only 2 hours from here. Maybe there’s more they can do for him there.

My Mom’s going to be spending the night with him in the hospital tonight.

I want to finish commenting and responding to the people that have specifically addressed comments to me, but I need to take a bit of a break for now. I’ll be back later because you guys lift my spirits.

    • AZGirl says:

So sorry for your uncle. Talk to your mom about the M.D Anderson Cancer Center as an option?

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Thank you, AZGirl. I did. My Dad talked to another friend that’s friends with my uncle’s wife (you know how it is in small cities), and she said that she thinks she’s going to try to talk my uncle into going there. They can’t really talk to him right now because they say he’s so weak that all they can do is bathe him and let him sleep.

    • stellastars21 says:

I’m so very sorry for you and your family. I hope they decide to look into something for him. My boyfriend’s dad was told he had two months to live I think and that was over a year ago. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts. Take care friend.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Thank you, Stella (I promise to respond to your comment up above too). I’ll tell my Mom what you said about your boyfriend’s Dad and get it to pass it on. It’ll give her and other members of the family (including my uncle) hope.

    • BB says:

Sorry your uncle and family have gotten such bad news, Detox. Saying prayers for him. I have an older lady friend (in her late 80’s) who was diagnosed with stomach cancer and told there was nothing they could do for her and that she had probably 3-4 months to live. That was way over a year ago. She is still going to church every Sunday, singing in the senior choir during the week and is in no pain so far. I just talked to her on the phone today and she says she can’t wait for Spring to get here. Doesn’t sound like she’s going anywhere soon. Lol. Hope that provides some encouragement.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Thanks for the prayers, BB, and thanks for the inspirational story about your friend. I’m going to pass that story along to my family too. And, yes, it DOES provide encouragement.

    • BB says:

Detox, on a personal note, you need to ask your MD if you need to get a colonoscopy yourself. Because my brother was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 50, I got a colonoscopy at 48 and had a pre-cancerous polyp. You may need to get checked out even if you’re not over 50.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

I think you’re right. Because my grandmother had it, all of her kids (including my uncle) started having their colonoscopies earlier than average and right on schedule. My uncle did what he was supposed to do and still got it, though. That sucks. It also sucks that he’s got all of that heart blockage.

He also has a daughter that is dying with cancer right now. I don’t know her very well. She lives in another state, and he was ALWAYS going to see about her and HER daughters (She’s got 2 grown daughters — his granddaughters –who are gorgeous. One of them was in some famous country singer’s music video or something. I don’t know her. She’s got a son. So, he’s a great-grandfather too). My uncle did not find out about this daughter until she was 14 years old (She was born before he married his wife, unbeknownst to him or his wife). He immediately took her in to live with his family because her Mother was unfit and the Mother’s sister called, out of the blue one day, to just tell him, “Hey, guess what, you’ve got a daughter, and her Mom’s CRAZY, and SHE’S CRAZY too! Can you come and get her?”

So, he did. My cousin (his 1st child with his wife) tells the story so HILARIOUSLY. He said that he and his sister just got off the school bus one day and walked into their house to have their usual routine of an after-school snack, homework, a little family time, getting ready for school the next day and bed.

He said that he saw this girl standing in their den looking at his Mom’s brass collection. He said, “Hello.” She said, “Hello” back, and the same thing happened with his little sister. They walked into the kitchen to get their snack from their Mom (my uncle’s wife) and said, “Oh yeah, Mom, who’s that girl in the den?”

My aunt said, “Oh, that’s your sister. She’s going to be staying with us for a while.” He said she just said it like she was saying, “Oh, I had tuna for lunch today.” He said he and his sister just looked at each other like, “What the EFF??!! SISTER??!!!”

L-O-N-G story (We actually laugh our butts off when we tell it to each other again, though). Anyhoo, I don’t know her very well because she only lived with them for a year or so before she went to live with another family member because she HATED my uncle’s wife and his other kids. She wanted ALL of his attention, and he was giving it to her because he felt so guilty for missing the 1st 14 years of her life (even though it wasn’t his fault). Finally, his wife said, “Either SHE goes or your other kids and I do. She’s making everybody but YOU miserable.”

He never stopped taking care of her financially and constantly going to see her and her children and grandchild, though. It’s ironic that they now BOTH have cancer.

Sorry for the digression. Anyhoo, you are right about getting myself checked. I’ve got to look into it (I’m 42). My Mom and 4 of her other siblings, including this uncle, have diverticulitis too. I don’t know if there is any connection between that and the colon but….I’ve got to do my research.

I do know that, a few years ago, I went to get a colonic on the advice of a friend (T.M.I., I know), and the hydrotherapist told me I had a “lazy colon.” I called my girlfriend on the way back from the appointment and said, “Can you believe that bitch had the audacity to tell me I had a LAZY colon??!! How DARE she? She doesn’t even KNOW me like that??!!” My girlfriend was super-supportive and said, “What a bitch? Too bad she’ll never see you again.” I said, “Oh no, I’ve scheduled several follow-up appointments. I want my colon to get in shape and end up being the brick-shithouse of colons.” (P.S.: They actually did end up making me feel a LOT better and helped with weight loss and everything. I had to cut it out when I got laid off and started doing only contract work, though).

I’m glad I can laugh about this.

Thanks for the recommendation, BB (and thanks for reading this long-ass dissertation and digression ;-). I am “Miss Wordy Birdy, after all).

        • LaineyLainey says:

wonderful advice you’re getting, DETOX – – – but your stories…Child you slay me. LOL!!

          • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

The sad thing is that these stories are true. I think the more family members a person has, the more likely you are to have crazy sh*t like this happen, though. And my family is HUGE on both sides.

What else can you do BUT laugh?

That “introduction” of the brand new family member was followed by a huge barbecue we all had to attend to meet her. Beforehand, my Mom was like, “Now, you be NICE to that girl, you hear me?” Of course, I was like, “Where did she come from? Who’s her Mom? Why didn’t he know about her? Is she going to live with them forever?” My Mom was like, “That’s none of your damned business! You know what I told you about staying out of GROWN FOLKS’ business. You just act like you have some damned sense, don’t ask any questions and BE NICE to that girl!!”

I get there, and GUESS who his daughter is the SPITTING IMAGE of? I mean, like IDENTICAL, almost like TWINS:

Aunt Bunny!!!! (She’s crazy like her too). Everybody kept remarking to Aunt Bunny, “Oh my God, she looks like she could be YOUR daughter.” Aunt Bunny just grinned, showing all 65 of her teeth and kept saying, “I know. Isn’t she beautiful? People think it’s easy, but, really, beauty is a CURSE. It hasn’t always been easy for me.”

Of course we all rolled our eyes behind Aunt Bunny’s back.

        • BB says:

I always love reading your family stories. I was told after my latest colonoscopy last month that I also have diverticulitis, so maybe there is a connection. Never heard of a lazy colon. That’s a new one. Lol!

        • pat says:

My prayers are with you. It can’t get worse, and it will get better.

    • not THAT Jill says:

Oh Detox-I want to hug you!!! Hang in there girlfriend-you goy both my love and prayers!!!!

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Thanks, Jive Turkey. It’s not really me I’m worried about. I’m worried about my uncle and his kids and his wife and my mom and his other siblings….

and, yes…even crazy-ass Aunt Bunny, who has found herself SOOO stressed out with the news that she has been unable to go and see him again and has been finding strength and support at the casinos out here with distant relatives from whom she has bummed rides. *Sigh* I guess we all have our ways of coping.

My Mom said it’s better for Aunt Bunny to be at “adult day care” and the casinos because she was “falling out” and throwing herself all over my uncle’s hospital room with grief like she was trying for an Academy Award. This was before she even knew about the cancer. This was also when my Mom asked her to go out into the hallway, and she quietly told her she was going to “punch the f*ck out of” her if she didn’t knock it off. *Sigh*

        • not THAT Jill says:

I just love that warm and fuzzy mother of yours!!! Aunt Bunny would be wise to stay out of your moms way for a while!!! Let me know if you need anything!!!

    • Lisa Renee says:

Hi Detox, I had been trying to figure out how to say in words my happiness that you are able to hang again since last night, looking forward to joking around with my sistah from another mister. All that can wait. I’m sending you strength & keeping good thoughts for all of you. FWIW, I am a big believer in more than one opinion. If it doesn’t apply let it fly. Check in when you can. Jill makes the best carrier pigeon, Lisa

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Thanks so much, Lisa!! I still owe you that E-Mail response, Woman, and I am going to give it to you if it’s one of the last things I do.

It looks like I’ll be homebound a little bit more until we learn more about what arrangements are going to be made for my Uncle. So, I’ll have a little more time to play with you guys and to respond to your E-Mail.

Oh, and Jill is not a carrier PIGEON. She is a carrier-JIVE TURKEY. 😉

    • TexasTart says:

((((Detox))))) Sorry for the situation your uncle is in. 😦
It had been exciting to see you’ve been visiting and no time to visit myself, maybe we will cross paths another time. I can’t help it, I have to chuckle at Lisa saying about Jill can be the carrier pigeon, hahaha.

      • I Need A Housewives' Detox Program says:

Thanks, TT. I definitely hope we cross paths soon. Lisa was funny with that carrier pigeon line. I corrected her and told her that Jill is a carrier-JIVE TURKEY (Come to think of it, can turkeys even FLY? Damn this A.D.D. of mine!!). 😉

    • L.A. Chica says:

Prayers and good thoughts coming your way for you and your family. And I echo what BB said about not waiting to get a colonoscopy yourself. Those of us whose families have been struck by this disease must be more vigilant than the average person.

    • VV says:

      (((Detox))) More prayers your way

    • lizzle says:

I’m so sorry Detox. I am glad to see you back here, but sad about your uncle. I am sending all of my positive thoughts your way about the job and your uncle. But I definitely understand how life can throw curveballs and have us dropping in and out of commenting here at the Lynn Fam.

    • BB says:

I’m sure Brandi didn’t take someone’s seat at the Oscars. What a dweeb!

    • L.A. Chica says:

Dang. I didn’t know he was a jerk, either – until now. Opt out? What’s he talking about? Any Academy member who isn’t nominated, or has another compelling reason to be there representing the Academy, can buy a ticket. They are just not enough to meet demand so they do a lottery.

    • VV says:

I think he knows now. She has 300.000+ twitter followers vs his 58.000+ twitter followers. His comment was mean and HE KNEW what he was doing in this age of Internet and Google.

He might be a closet HW fan #TeamCharo or a LR fan…

      • LaineyLainey says:

That’s nice that he apologized. it’s unjerklike behavior. I’ve always really liked him. Para bailar la bamba!!!!!

        • VV says:

That apology was forced and he really didn’t mean it (IMO). Read the way he was replying to Brandi’s followers. Not nice at all.

          • LaineyLainey says:

I think he was trying to be funny and doing a little observational humor…but it backfired bigtime, because he probably didn’t know about the RH world and how “passionate” some fans can be. WELL, HE KNOWS NOW!!!

        • Powell says:

I’ve always liked him to & did even more when his wife left him for Melissa Ethridge, who I also like, and didn’t bad mouth her to the media. He apologized. I guess he’s entitled to a mistake.

    • TexasTart says:

She was a commentator, LDP you are an asshat!

      • VV says:

The worst part is he started fighting Brandi’s followers. He is married to Make up artist Yvonne Boismier now Yvonne Phillips. I wonder if this is where the comment is coming from…,

One link to his tweet is awaiting moderation dont know why..

        • not THAT Jill says:

I’m sure Brandi’s followers (the Brandi bunch) went after him like crazy. If Brandi gets one tweet that is not favorable her fans attack like crazy- I think they are worse than the fanatical Teresa fans

          • lizzle says:

At least they aren’t tweeting death threats like Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga’s twitter fans… or are they….LOL… when people are passionate about someone… they go a bit cray cray. I think that’s what you call a fanatic.

          • LaineyLainey says:

            Is that atypical for “fans”?

          • RealHousewifeVA says:

Everyone’s fans are crazy but when people hate a certain Housewife, they seem to think her fans are crazier than the others. lol

            • not THAT Jill says:

I don’t hate Brandi….read the tweets from her fans and then you will know crazy-

              • realhousewifeva says:

I wasn’t talking about you specifically, just the general ‘you’. I think Teresa and Brandi have MORE fans than some of the other ladies, so the craziness is more obvious. But the other ladies have crazy fans’s only a couple so no one care or notices. lol

    • lizzle says:

Maybe Mr. Lou Diamond should go out and make a good movie. It looks like he has two in post production… so maybe next year Lou!

      • not THAT Jill says:

All he did was wonder why she was there-he didn’t call her a loser or even make fun of that get-up she had on. I think when the fanatics get involved it turns into a big frighten to-do!!!

      • jezzibel says:

as my granddad always said “opinions are like @$$holes, everyone’s got one”.
He might have just said what everyone around him was thinking and he apologized so I think the pitch forks and the burning him in effigy can ease off…and he’s a cast regular on A&E’s Longmire.

      • pat says:

Snap! Lizzle. Brandi may not have even taken up a coveted seat. She was working the red carpet.

Good afternoon! I haven’t read all the comments yet, so apologize if anything I say is repetitive. I’m watching VR on demand — only the last two episodes — and all I can say is that A) Jax was a really big jerk, and B) I can’t stand Stassi.

Ok, one more thing (or two): Stassi said that her friends thought she was a bitch because she believed Frank over Jax re his cheating, and that might be true. But I think she’s a bitch because of her general arrogant, entitled, bullying, and vicious behavior. She is dispicable.

Then, I just saw a promo for the VR Reunion and Stassi is crying and saying everyone hates her. Um… Duh! See above.

I like Peter. And I cannot figure out how Pandora and Stassi are friends.

  36. Powell says:

I bet Kyle & Adrienne are seething that Lisa’s doing DWTS. I don’t see that any of the ladies have congratulated her on Twitter.

  37. BB says:

I’m so glad Jimmy Kimmell and The Staples Center aren’t giving in to this guy’s demands.

    • lizzle says:

As a former vegetarian and now a meat eater, I don’t think there is anything wrong with this guy asking for only vegetarian items to be served at the Staples Center. They actually added vegetarian choices, so it was probably a win/win for both. As far as Kimmel, it would be pretty negligent of him to perform alongside of the members of Duck Dynasty… especially if he is a spokesperson for vegetarianism. I love Duck Dynasty and I love Morrisey. People should stand up for what they believe. There isn’t anything wrong with doing that. In fact, I regularly kick myself for not standing up more for my beliefs… so here I am… saying what I think.

Btw… Morrisey has always been a weird dude… he is super famous in the indie rock world, but many don’t even know who he is. When I was a kid, he announced to the world he was celibate… which at the time, I thought was permanent… meaning he would never have sex again… but now I know… it was probably just a phase of his or some other “stand” he took at the time. LOL… only to be that innocent again.

      • lizzle says:

And when I say kid, I mean in college as a late teen. lol

      • Catseye says:

I some him in concert once. He is a Diva for sure. But I love his music.

      • BB says:

I don’t think there is anything wrong for him to not want to be on the same show as the Duck Dynasty people, but he kind of suggested that he WOULD come if they got rid of them. He didn’t need to say that or call them Animal Serial Killers. As far as I know the DD guys pretty much eat what the catch/kill (except maybe snakes), so I don’t see a problem with that. As for the Staples Center, there is nothing wrong with having vegetarian choices, but to ask that they go totally meatless is just a little unreasonable. He can stand by his principals and still not be an ass about it.

        • lizzle says:

I’m sorry. I didn’t read the article, so I didn’t see where he was an ass about it. There is no reason to be an ass about anything. I definitely agree on that! OK… I got it… calling them animal serial killers was the ass remark… and I agree… he was being a diva ass. It’s ok to be a diva… but not a diva ass… fo sho! Thanks for responding because now I know where you are coming from… and I agree about this guy being an ass. He has always been a bit pretentious and I don’t like that about him either.

          • BB says:

No problem. I guess he got the attention he wanted. Just makes me want to go eat a good steak! Lol

            • BB says:

Cancel the Steak. I want some DUCK L’Orange! Ha!

              • L.A. Chica says:

                Mmmmmm… duck!

              • lizzle says:

My friend who was a vegetarian for over 20 years got pregnant for the 2nd time and craved meat. She was so excited to try ever single kind of meat available. As soon as I started eating meat again… I was the same way! Recently, I have started making steak in the afternoon for myself. It want last long, but it is something that I crave right now. Just a thinly sliced piece of steak and that’s it.

  38. L.A. Chica says:

Well I finally got to watch RHBH from yesterday. It was one of the better episodes in a long while! We actually got to see the ladies have fun, there was no Adrienne or mention of her, and Taylor wasn’t drunk for a change.

Isn’t it a bit too soon for Kim to be confronting another alcoholic? I wish her the best in her quest for sobriety and am rooting for her success with that, but it seems to me she’s still got a lot of work to do on herself in general. That said, I thought Taylor took the “intervention” rather well. Maybe Kim is looking for a sobriety buddy.

Kyle – I know I’ve said this before but her cackle is SO Phyllis Diller. As much as I dislike Kyle I did appreciate how she and Kim were able to be with each other and talk about Kim’s drinking and their relationship. That was nice to see.

Go Yolanda! I loved how direct and no BS she was with Taylor. And apparently Taylor has apologized to her on her blog. I also like what she’s done with Mohammed’s new palace. Right now she and Jeff Lewis are my favorite reality TV interior designers. Oh how I would love to see them work on a project together. 😯 Now THAT would probably make the Bastille Day fireworks look like just-snuffed out birthday candles.

Lisa and Ken — I am shocked that Ken has a 21-year old grandson! I didn’t even know he had a son from a previous marriage! The wife came off a bit stiff, but maybe she was just unsure about this whole reality TV thing. I mean, she was an actress so she’s used to losing herself in a role, not putting her real self out there for all to see.

Is it just me or could anyone else see themselves watching a show that’s just about Lisa and Ken and their adventures? They are so warm and kind and hilarious, I would love to see that. It’s actually what I was hoping VR would feature more of, instead of those vapid nincompoops working their way through auditions.

    • AZGirl says:

I just finished watching BH also and I agree with you on everything. Yolanda is so cool. Watching Ken with his grandson was fantastic. Not sure about what is going on with Lisa’s friend but that gal has had a LOT of work done.

And here I thought she looked so bad because she HASN’T HAD WORK DONE. haha!!! Yeah, Kyle and Mauricio were really wanting to be seen making out on camera. I find him gross now after this season. fickle, fickle. But I never was that crazy about him to begin with.

        • TexasTart says:

I say hasn’t had work done!! I think that she’s different culturally…somehow…and it seemed she reeked sarcasm and I don’t know why the do edit tricks make it look like her comment offended Lisa, when truthfully it was the same dry humor or sarcasm Lisa.uses regular. I can see how they used to be friends!

    • TexasTart says:

Definitely, I could watch a show that was just Lisa & Ken!!! VPRules was a huge disappointment, in the context of being a spin-off for Lisa – it wasn’t about Lisa! Other housewife.spinoffs were about the person.

Being that I like Lisa so much, I couldn’t figure why I wasn’t thrilled about DWTS. The obvious was that I don’t watch the show (but all my family does so I will.see an episode or finals) and then I figured that I wasn’t thrilled because I didn’t want to share her LOL! I just want her to stay in the HW world for a while. How.self-serving of me 😉

Kyle is so Klueless she doesn’t know she’s friendless

    • TexasTart says:

I don’t really think Lisa and Kyle were meant to be BFF’s in the first place, but they must have had a good.relationship because you could really see the hurt in Lisa’s face when trying to reason with Kyles lack of loyalty.

And it’s loyalty that brought Brandi front and center to Lisa. She was the only person to have Lisa’s back at the S2 reunion. Not that this is news, I’m just highlighting that I don’t think some these women would ever be friends if not.for being forced together in this show!

      • pat says:

Yes, exactly how I felt. Lisa seemed genuinely hurt and confused, from seaons 1, by Kyle’s odd way of being a friend. Yet she trusted her and gave Mauricio the deal to sell their home. And I agree that Lisa saw Brandi call it like she saw it, with nothing to gain. when she had her back at the reunion.

    • L.A. Chica says:

Kyle is so Klueless that she tells Lisa she thinks she’s manipulative, calculating, and holds grudges, and then wonders why Lisa has distanced herself from her.

“Being friends with you is like playing chess with Bobby Fisher.” Ahhh yes… who wouldn’t want to hear those words from their BFF?

Well, my son was diagnosed with Strep throat. They gave him antibiotics and a numbing rinse. Knowing him he will be better very quickly. Just have to hope and pray that my daughter and I stay well. Not how I wanted to spend the day, but very grateful that it wasn’t worse, that he is covered by insurance and that we have the $ for the copayments, gas for the car to get us there, the car to get us there, a house to come home to……I am trying to look at all the things to be positive about instead of bitching, lol!!! And I got to talk to one of my best friends for about a half hour while I waited in the car for the meds. I took one look at the pharmacy and handed him the cards and said, “later”…. it was so crowded and there was no way I was sitting in there. So I got to catch up with my friend and that was fun. It turns out that she watches HWs!!! We have never discussed it before because usually when we finally get to talk for a really long conversation it never gets to TV….so that was very fun! We have known each other for 25 years and that is the first time we have ever talked about TV shows, lol good times! So not how I would have chosen to spend the day…..but, eh, could have been worse!!

    • AZGirl says:

We have been hit hard here in Tempe, Arizona with Strep. First Born has been avoiding it so far between his classes at ASU and work. Hope your son feels better. It may take a week or so but make sure he rests and takes the meds. Wash your hands!!!

      • Catseye says:

So true about washing your hands, I keep a container of wipes in my car and use them frequently, after pumping gas, etc. Sometimes just sitting at a stoplight, I’ll wipe my steering wheel, door handles and emergency brake handle really quickly.

      • princesspindy says:

You called it with the strep. I have hand sanitizer in every bathroom, the kitchen, the hall and guess who rarely uses it, HIM!! lol! ( I have it in my purse too) I had the Dr. give us a letter for school…just in case it helps.

    • LaineyLainey says:

Poor guy, he must be miserable. He will get well now with the antibiotics; a blessing.

      • princesspindy says:

He is miserable, he has no practice being sick. My daughter and I are trying not to roll our eyes too much!

    • TexasTart says:

Glad you found out what had gotten the best of DS. Strep is painful…the rest of you be on germ watch!
How funny about finding out your long time friend is into real housewives! Cool. I’m rather selective about who I would admit my love for all things reality TV – especially housewives. Maybe I’ll bring it up at the next girls night out.

      • princesspindy says:

Yes, it is not something I volunteer easily….ha!

        • TexasTart says:

LOL, that’s why I found it interesting after knowing one another so long…and then I thought I’ve known people that long and it’s not come up. And how often is that on purpose? Maybe I should live a little, ha ha

  42. AZGirl says:

Well I am caught up with BH and I just have a few comments 🙂
Who the hell wears pants like Kyle was wearing? Like those stripes are going to make her look taller? I don’t think so. The dress she wore at Mohammad’s cocktail party? WTF?

Now…on to the turtle shells on the wall. I actually got on-line to check out if that is legal or not. Some shells found on beaches in the tropic are ok but you need to have licenses or proof that the shell was not poached or a turtle was killed in the process of obtaining it. REGARDLESS who would want a turtle shell on their wall? It is like Kyle is shopping at the 99 Cent store for house.

Something is going on with Taylor. I am not sure if it is the infamous editing but she has done a 360 on her persona. Sloppy drunk to straight up and normal. My bet is the new boyfriend/lawyer.

Ken and Lisa are so great. Ken did a great job raising Warren. Ken loves his son and grandson and watching them together was great. Sue is a true Brit. I think she is embarrassed by the cameras and Lisa’s participation in HW’s. Sue is trying to come across as being bored and tired of the stupid “Americans” and it just came across as mean.

Marisa behavior around her husband is horrible. I feel so bad for him. I was actually counting how many times she hit him in the chest during that conversation with the Fosters. She hit him 4 times. So nice not have Adrienne in the episode.

    • AZGirl says:

I have been up since 4 a.m. and I use the word “great” too much in this post. My bad.

    • TexasTart says:

That was a Great post! Seriously though, I had some of the exact same thoughts! Especially whay was Kyle wearing?! She should save that in case she ends up performing the splits – in Vegas.

    • L.A. Chica says:

Marisa! I totally forgot to comment on her this episode. While it was very sad that Dean’s father died, I was so incensed with Marisa for treating her husband so terribly. And I’m sick and tired of her lame excuses for her meanness toward him, “It’s just my sense of humor,” “I’m just saying out loud what other women think,” “I think like a guy,” etc.

First of all, her sense of humor on this subject sucks. Hasn’t she noticed yet that no one laughs when she says she wants to sleep with other men or is attracted to them (implying she’s more attracted to them than to her husband)? NO ONE IS LAUGHING, MARISA! They are CRINGING. They are APPALLED. Marisa has zero regard for her husband’s feelings and dignity, and in the end she makes them both look like fools. He certainly looked hurt and embarrassed in last night’s episode. I don’t know why he continues to put up with her talking that way. Oh yeah — it’s because he loves her. Why doesn’t she say it’s because “he knows I love him”?

And no, Marisa, you are NOT just saying “what every other bitch is thinking.” Some of us are quite happily married and have no desire to have sex with someone other than our husband. So STFU, you don’t speak for us.

Lastly, Marisa says she thinks like a man, but when she treats her husband that way what she’s really thinking like is an ass. If it were Dean talking that way about other women we’d all be saying what a dick he is.

      • kit9 says:

The cherry on top, this time, was her talking about how in love he is with her. It came off like, ‘yep, I treat him like sh*t and humiliate him in public in front of national tv cameras cause I can!’. She couldn’t emasculate him more if she chopped his balls off. Yo, Marissa, we all think a lot of things, but we don’t say them because they’re cruel.

        • Catseye says:

I definitely saw a hurt look on his face when she was going on about that stuff, at the party. Maybe it’s passive aggressive digs because she’s the breadwinner?

      • LaineyLainey says:

In total agreement, L.A. Chica. She should be ashamed of herself. I hope this episode helps her to see what an ASS she is making of her self and her husband. You’re right, why does she think she speaks for all women. NOOOOO! NOT TRUE.

      • Catseye says:

I agree about Marissa. I don’t care to see that type of behavior either. (And I’m happily single).

      • realhousewifeva says:

I agree! Seriously, he had to have done something awful to her for her to go on a reality show on national tv and continuously humiliate him, even after some of the other ladies commented about it! What is she thinking? And why is she putting up with it? How awkward must that be for them to watch it. I would probably leave my husband if he kept talking about how he’s bored of me, doesn’t find me attractive, wants to bang other women…

      • Beckygrey says:

@ La Chica…The answer to your question
“Hasn’t she noticed yet that no one laughs when she says she wants to sleep with other men or is attracted to them (implying she’s more attracted to them than to her husband)? NO ONE IS LAUGHING, MARISA! They are CRINGING.”

The answer in Reality Tv land is NO…this was taped in July…lol

        • L.A. Chica says:

LOL No, I mean no one who is within earshot of her while she’s slamming her husband. The other housewives are appalled when she talks that way.

    • kit9 says:

If Sue were embarrassed by the cameras, she wouldn’t have been on the show and I think Sue had a very real and palpable dislike of Lisa, not her adopted home. But, get this, I’m watching Arias trial coverage and guess who made a guest appearance as an expert? An actual blood relative of the Awful One who this site’s predecessor was devoted! Yes, none other than Lisa Wexler!

      • BB says:

And what is she an expert on concerning this trial? I know she’s an attorney, but other than that has she ever prosecuted or defended in a murder trial before?

        • kit9 says:

Oh, sorry, sloppy writing on my part..she wasn’t commenting on Arias, she was commenting on another trial that they covered after talking about Arias….the trial of some cannibal cop. She was introduced as ‘attorney and radio host’ and a follower of the trial. She wasn’t even in court…so offering up original reporting…she just repeated what had been reported in the papers. Then she did some round table commentary about the case.

          • BB says:

Oh, well I hope she wore a wrinkle/stain free blouse. I remember seeing her on something one time and she her top has a stain and was wrinkled.

      • realhousewifeva says:

I thought that was Sue’s dry sense of humor coupled with creative editing.

        • kit9 says:

I thought it was humor at first but the way she said it( the second time?) real hushed to her husband seemed like it did have some bite behind it since she didn’t want Lisa and Ken to hear it. Editing always a possibility but with the last snide comment I was like, holy crap, I think she means it!

  43. princesspindy says:

So I just turned on the TV and then walked over to get into bed….as I am walking to my bed I hear this little girl talking about “that’s emotionally abusive” and I look at the screen and she is sitting at a bar and there is a bartender….I am so confused, thinking is this some kind of “wife swap” episode. So I get in bed and look at the screen and realized that it isn’t a little girl it is Vanderpump Rules…. I don’t watch but the girl sounds like a 10 year old and is giving the guy behind the bar hell.

Congrats to Lisa for DWTS, hope Andy isn’t falling all over himself and self-congratulating. Yucky

I have to catch up and read up, thanks TT!

  48. chismosa says:

I’m sorry but do most people find Jax that hot? I think he has an oddly shaped head and is not that great looking. Unfortunately looks like this show is coming back since they get a reunion and all.

I still prefer my Shahs over this mess (ducking head in shame!)

Ms.Andy/WWHL coming to Austin for SWSW (music festival and multimedia event) Y’all think I should go??? The fool said he “can’t wait to ride some stuff”
    I’ll take him for a ride 😛

I don’t think Kyle will post a blog, the comments over there are pretty bad

  51. TexasTart says:

Ms Andy Mazel started out being something about gay rights and ended up being a (another mazel?) to Lisa V for DWTS. Andy said “…they said they would mever have a housewife…” Newsflash Andy – she’s not just any housewife!

  52. TexasTart says:

I should be in bed, superhuman work load awaits tommorow. I never got to read all the blog and comments as usual, but it sure was a great escape chatting some this evening.

And that piece of $hit Reza deserves any lashings he can get.

I might have a tantrum too…but for another reason! Well that makes no sense to delete coents that were already posted! Grrr I find that aggravating and I’m not even posting there….I don’t think ANY comment I tried to post saw the light of day. That’s one thing, a non-post, but removing existing ones is shady!
