Danielle Staub Filming Real Housewives of New Jersey
Uh Oh. Looks like the “peace” between the housewives wasn’t enough of a storyline for the producers, because they’re bringing back Danielle Staub. Danielle left the show enemies with all the other ladies, but that’s an inconvenient truth so now she’s coming back as enemies with Caroline and Jacqueline, but somehow is okay with Teresa. “Is bitch better?” table flipping Teresa. At the end of season three during the reunion, Teresa threw Andy Cohen across his chair like a rag doll screaming “don’t bring up my family,” when he tried to calm her down. She was lunging at Danielle after Danielle mentioned that Teresa didn’t go to the hospital to see her nephew Joey after he was born . We all now know Melissa was feeding Danielle inside Giudice family gossip/drama and Teresa was shocked to have it thrown into her face. She did go to the hospital, by the way, but Joe didn’t go. You’d think Melissa would have been glad Joe didn’t go.
Anyway – a few years later and needing a few more dollars to pay the bills, Danielle finally got lured back into the New Jersey cage fight, at least according to this blog. Apparently they are still filming NJ through April, plenty of time to stir up drama for the Manzos.
Kenya Moore’s Strange “Gone with the Wind” Fabulous Video
Brandi Glanville drunk at her own book signing.
Fans who showed up for Brandi Glanville’s book signing got a little more than they asked for. While she showed up sober, with no food in sight and the signing held at a bar, by the end of the night she was drunk. Fans reported her slurring her words and cussing up a storm. I suppose it would take a lot to shock a fan of Brandi’s. She came clean about the incident the next evening on Watch What Happens Live. “I actually didn’t come to my book signing drunk, I left there drunk. We didn’t eat all day. We had two book signings. By the end of the day, it was a sh*t show.”
The Real Housewives of Vancouver Episode 5 by NoMoreDrama
(almost a week behind – but …)
Warning – this episode is like one long string of people talking about Mary Zilba. There is something about Mary that gets on their nerves. I get Jody and I sorta get Amanda since she’s friends with Mia (Jody’s daughter), but it really bugs me when Ronnie – who was once best friends with Mary – joins in. I guess it bugs Mary too because she’s blocked Ronnie on twitter. And with that – you can read a recap of what I felt was a really annoying episode.
Last we left the ladies they were all at Amanda’s birthday party. Ronnie asks what happened before she got there. Mary says she doesn’t want to go there. Jody says she DOES want to go there. They bicker back and forth and Jody says Mary has no manners because she’s talking with her mouth full. Mary says that’s because she doesn’t have any manners. Do any of you have bickering children – because this is how they are acting. Please tell me they are not being paid for this. Mary says that she doesn’t want to ruin Amanda’s birthday party and they all say cheers to Amanda.
Mary is desperate to leave and whispers to Robin that she’s going to go. She gets a call and tells everyone that her friend’s son’s foot has been run over by a car and he’s in St. Pauls (the hospital). She says she wants to leave to support her friend. Ioulia knows the friend and immediately calls her. Right away she realizes that there isn’t an actual emergency and she tries to cover for Mary but her face gives her away. Ioulia whispers it to Robin, who then says “your friend’s son did not get run over by a car” in a low voice to Mary. Ioulia is desperately trying to shush her. Mary in her voice over claims she mis-heard her friend.
Then Jody brings it up again. Ioulia quickly says it was a misunderstanding, but now everyone knows Mary was lying. Amanda voices over that she doesn’t really care if Mary wants to go. Mary then says that she’s got to go. This time her excuse is that there is something going on at her house with her kids. She claims there are 10 kids at her house. (Why doesn’t she just leave?) Then she says bye and says there are 20 kids at her place. Jody uses the opportunity to slam Mary for lying. Robin stands up for her. Ronnie says that she never owns anything. Amanda uses the opportunity to tell Ronnie that Mary had said that Ronnie was the reasons she didn’t get along with Jody. Uh oh. Ronnie is now getting mad at Mary and because of that she’s decided Mary is a liar. Ronnie is my least favorite housewife of ALL franchises by the way – just so we’re all clear on that. Ronnie goes to the bathroom and sees Mary next door drinking at the bar. Oops. If she is going to lie, she needs to learn how to lie better. Of course Ronnie runs back and tells everyone else because they have nothing better to do than talk about Mary.
The next day Robin drops by to visit Mary. She tells Mary that after she left, everyone starting talking about her. And then she explains that Mary did it to herself. Mary claims she didn’t make things up. She left the dinner, saw some friends next door, got distracted, talked to her kids and realized she didn’t need to go home. She also admitted (in her talking head) that she needed a drink to take the edge off her stress. Robin just wants her to admit that the phone calls were an excuse – that she told a white lie. Robin says what we’re all thinking – what’s the big deal – she and Amanda aren’t friends? Mary tries to deflect by asking who ratted her out. Robin tells her about Ronnie seeing her next door and Mary immediately tries to blame Ronnie. Bless her heart, Robin tells her to knock it off and own her own behavior and admit that she just wanted to leave. The scene ends with Mary saying “I don’t know.” I’m 1000% in agreement with Robin. Covering up a white lie becomes a big lie. If she’d just admit that she lied to get away from the ladies because she couldn’t take it anymore, it would be over. Well not with Jody and Ronnie I suppose. They are obsessed with proving that Mary is a liar now.
Next we have Robin with Cole, the young singer, and his dad. We learn that Cole has been on Ellen (Robin googled him). Robin is star struck. They have one rehearsal. Cole has a lot of experience singing the National Anthem at the Thunderbird show, but Robin has other ideas on how to do the song. Robin makes them do it over and over and over and over and over. Poor Cole – he could do this in his sleep, but he’s a great sport. And he knows he’s going to be on TV.
Jody. Every time she talks about Mary it’s with a sneer. And all she does is talk about Mary. I’m beginning to feel that she’s obsessed with Mary. She’s in a limo with Amanda and what do you know, she starts talking about Mary. She’s like a broken record and it makes her look petty. Of course Amanda agrees with her and they both say they couldn’t lie as much as Mary because they’d forget their lies. Newsflash – Mary is a terrible liar. Someone needs to take notes for her. Is there a redhead with some time on her hands?
They are on their way to Ioulia’s dinner party. Ioulia says that tonight will be a civilized dinner with no fighting. She writes out a sign. Get your mind out of the gutter – she has cats. Jody and Amanda are there first and Ioulia is starving and says she wants to start eating. Jody laughs and tells her she has to wait. Jody in the talking head interview says that Ioulia is like a “midget at a buffet table” and wants to eat before anyone is there. I’m not sure if I’m more disturbed by the use of midget or the way she pronounced buffet – like boofet .
Ioulia says that she invited Mary, but Mary is doing a video shoot and isn’t coming. Jody says that Mary doesn’t want to be judged on her lie, and she’s just made up an excuse to not come to the party. Cut to Mary shooting a video for her single. It’s a full production and this sure doesn’t look like an excuse to me. Suck it Jody.
Back to Ioulia’s party and Ronnie and Robin are arriving. Ioulia is happy because she can finally eat. She pushes everyone out of the way and pigs out. Kidding – but she is hungry. The conversation gets around to Ioulia’s step kids. It turns out there is a “little one” who is in private school. Amanda points out that it’s summer. Ioulia says maybe she’s in Australia with her dad, but she has no idea. I’m guessing there is a mom that has custody and this isn’t a big deal, but of course they make it seem like Ioulia has lost her step-daughter. Ioulia doesn’t give a crap and says in her talking head that she’s the step mom and doesn’t need to know where the kids are all the time.
It’s an art party, so Ioulia brings out the surprise. It’s a guy in tidy-whities with two ladies. The guy “Dave” is a model, and the ladies are art instructors. They housewives draw the model – but he keeps on his Calvin Klein’s. Spoke too soon. Out he comes with nothing on but a sock. They all have a fun time with their art class. Then Jody and Ronnie voice over that they all had much more fun without Mary there. I find the show much more enjoyable then THEY aren’t talking about Mary.
Jody and Mia chit chat at Jody’s. Jody tells Mia that she’s going to be on Top Chef Canada and Mia gets to be in the audience.
Finally it’s time for Mary and Robin to sing their National Anthems at Thunderbird Grand Prix. They both have friends. Mary is nervous and Robin feels ill. The other girls dress up and head off to watch them. They are all wearing heels. You probably don’t believe this, but Ronnie, Jody, and Amanda all start bitching about Mary. Why do they spend so much energy on Mary? Ioulia tries to defend her.
They arrive and can barely walk in their high heels. They sit down and start griping because their table has a little sign that says Reserved for Mary Zilba (instead of Robin). At this point I have to wonder how petty they can get. Mary introduces them to her friend Michia (who is the one from the phone call). Ronnie is licking her chops to expose Mary as a liar. After saying hi, Mary, Robin and Cole go off to sing. Mary sings and does well (of course – she’s a professional). Now it’s Robin’s turn. She’s really nervous and starts to over think her duet with Cole. She does fine. Of course everyone LOVES Robin’s voice and no one says a word to Mary. Mary looks lost. They are such mean girls and I want to smack them.
As they are eating, Amanda asks Michia about the phone call. Michia says she told Mary that her son’s foot was so swollen it looked like it was run over by a bus. Of course everyone thinks she’s covering for Mary. Ronnie claps after Michia tells her story and says very well rehearsed. She’s such a beeyoch. Why not let it go?
Jody pulls Ronnie aside to ask her to go to Toronto for the Top Chef filming. Jody asks Ronnie to invite Robin. She voices over that she’s not going to invite Mary. Robin is excited to go. They are all sitting in a row and Mary talks about having lunch next week, and Robin says, “in Toronto?” not realizing that Mary has been left out by the mean girls. This is just after a voice over where Mary says that she’s glad she’d become friends with Robin because she needs a friend. Robin looks crestfallen that she spilled the beans, and surprisingly, Amanda tells Mary that she should just come. No she shouldn’t. She doesn’t need to give Jody the satisfaction.
From the previews it looks like she and Ioulia do fly to Toronto and crash the party. Why? Is it in their contract? This show is actually making me start to feel sick to my stomach when I watch it. It’s a lot like the Jill, LuAnn and Kelly ganging up on Alex. I just want Mary to have a Ramona to stick up for her.
From the looks of Ronnie’s twitter feed, the episode that aired (in Canada) last night had her trying to explain why she was even there. And she also mentioned that Mary has blocked her on twitter, so I suppose their relationship is completely and utterly over.
Revenge by SugarMagnolia
“In it’s purest form, an act of retribution provides symmetry; the rendering of payment for crimes against the innocent. But the danger of retaliation lies in furthering the cycle of violence. But still it is a risk that must be met. And the greater offense is to allow the guilty to go unpunished.”
Emily is back at the cottage. Nolan and Aiden are there to catch her fall, but she will not leap. She said goodbye to Fauxmanda in the deep waters of the Atlantic. She has now lost 2 dear people and her revenge is more important than ever. It has been renewed and she is out for blood. She grabs her gun, splashes water on her face and tells Nolan to refrain from telling her to ease up or to stop, not when she is covered in the blood of one of the few people she has ever loved. She heads upstairs to compose herself and weep; only Emily can do both at once. As she is changing clothes, she pulls Faux’s necklaces out of her pocket. Under the picture of Amanda and Jack is a picture of the two girls circa juvie. She sobs once again, and maybe for the last time.
Grayson Manor-the Queen and Conrad are still ensconced in the Helen fiasco, which has become more complicated by Mr. Trask. He found Helen’s scarf and cell phone at the Porters, and of course Fauxmanda is allegedly to blame. However, she is missing. Charlotte is playing nanny to little Carl, sends him to the Manor to allow, of all people, Victoria to watch him while she joins Declan at the hospital to check on Jack. Daniel is done with this murder business and is ready to shut down the Iniaitive. Victoria is shocked to find that their is another player in this game–the felon Ryan. Back at the cottage, Nolan and Aiden are discussing the revegenda and Nolan does a brief summary of all those in peril. As usual, he gets the best line of the episode, “Why do I think this isn’t what Takeda had in mind when he handed you your revenge degrees?” Nolan is worried they are going to lose Emily to her revenge, but Aiden assures him that it’s the only thing she has left to hang onto. Emily descends the stairs, composed, and ready to continue her Revenge. She and Nolan go to check on Jack at the hospital. Charlotte goes to the Manor to check on Carl, he’s with the Queen after all, Declan needs coffee. And Emily is going to make the Grayson pay….Watch out Conrad and Victoria….
Conrad and the Queen meet Mr. Trask at some sort of Hampton’s amphitheater. The Queen is concerned about security. Trask says that the last time an operative met with them, Helen, she went missing. The couple Grayson try to assure him they had nothing to do with it. (We all know Victoria killed her, but he doesn’t). Amanda is still being blamed, but she is missing. Conrad tries to implicate Nate Ryan, mentions the laptop. Vicki, still, is pissed about her golden boy Daniel being lured into the Iniative. Trask leaves with no resolution and the royal couple of the Hamptons is left to anticipate the next move.
Trask calls Daniel at Grayson Global. He is taking over for Helen, since she has moved onto “greener pastures”. They have great faith in Daniel, he says, and will continue their investment in GG. Daniel appreciates that. Trask wants assurance that the trades in his inbox will still happen. Daniels confirms. He heads to the booze. Enter Aiden, who still wants a seat on the board of directors. Daniel is handling “the clock”. The one with the camera. He throws out the Prosser connection, and how he got Daniel that bid.
Emily is searching for the laptop, but gets distracted by Faux’s wedding dress. Before she has a chance to get emotional, she is approached by Trask who flashes a badge that I cannot discern. Clearly, a fake. She says she is just picking up clothes for Jack. What is he looking for? Faux is still missing, and she must forgive him, he is paid to be suspicious. He gets a call, and shares that Faux’s body has been found, and Charlotte must identify the body.
Honey Boo Boo is in Conrads office, and asks Conrad directly if he killed Amanda Clarke. She feels that he used his Gubernatorial announcement for an alibi. He blames the felon Ryan, and reminds her that, once again, her hands are dirty since she brokered the deal with him in the first place. He asks her to submit her resignation or stay on board….she stays, although storms out of his office.
Padma….****Still do not trust her!!*** She pays Nolan a visit, and has been contacted by Trask. They need to match the fingerprint. Nolan will interface and try and match it. He got Helen’s number and did his hacking magic. He found the last 2 places of contact were at Grayson Manor, then the Stowaway. He figured out the Grayson’s killed her. Still no luck finding the laptop. Emily is at the ME. The Queen is there, waiting for Charlotte to ID the body. They have a heavily veiled conversation until Char comes out in tears.
Nolan is pissed to see Daniel in his office. Threats about R & D, and Carrion. Still no sign of the laptop, it hasn’t been turned on so Nolan cannot track it. He informs Emily that he has to produce the program in order to save Padma’s Father. But Daniel wants him to destroy it. **don’t do it Nolan** Emily and Aiden…she’s off track, and she knows it. Jack is coming to. She gets a call from Declan and goes to the hospital. She has the bad luck to inform Jack that Faux is gone. Conrad enters, and Jack wants to speak ot him.
Char is keeping watch over little Carl and searching for Faux’s foster family. Uh-oh…..
Conrad insists on paying Jack’s hospital bill. He has regrets about allowing the felon Ryan to use him. Jack doesn’t get it and feels that Faux paid the price of his fathers sins. He accepts Conrads gesture and thanks him. He wants out of the hospital so that he can finish what Faux/Emily started. He knows now that there is a plan of revenge, however he thinks it his dead wife who started it. He is so close, yet so far….
Daniel and the Queen are meeting for a drink. Vick has a plan for Daniel’s speculation about Aiden. Give him Helen’s accounts. If he doesn’t take them, then he can’t be trusted because his footprints will be all over them. He gives in to Mama as usual.
Emily has arranged for home care for Jack. No one can find the laptop. He asks Emily to give the eulogy. He’s not sure he ever knew her, but Emily assures him that her earnest love is all around him. Jack wants to be alone, Emily leaves. He spies a mason jar of sea glass, from their childhood, and smashes it to pieces. What does he find? A key to a locker….
Char is still watching little Carl. Interaction on her computer with an unknown person. Em’s runs into Daniel and they have a brief moment of understanding and kindness after he dumped her over the Iniative.
Meanwhile, Jack has found the laptop, but can’t access it without Nolans help. He doesn’t know the infinity password. Conrad is having a press conference, and Jack goes to shake his hand while Emily watches with incredualty.
Jack found the laptop, can’t access it, but also found a letter. He lets Emily help him with his tie. But he pulls out a letter that links her and Faux to juvie. He doesn’t believe anything she has to say because he knows she’s been lying to him. He asks her to go. Meanwhile, at Nolcorp, Nolan has completed the Carrion program. He gives it to Padma to save her Father. ****don’t do it Nolan!!!!****
Fauxmanda’s funeral (Aiden is breaking into the Stowaway to recover the laptop)
“Death is a thief. It takes and keeps all that a person is. That the person was. And when death takes from us someone as extraordinary as Amanda, it takes not just her past, but who she was to us every day. Amanda was special, but she never had it easy. A childhood torn from her, a rough adolescence, and a damning identity that was thrust upon her which she wore with dignity. Until she made herself a new name, Amanda Porter. A name that was her own. Free from the binds of history. Looking forward with a man who loved her for all of her strengths, and all of her weaknesses. Amanda, all of us here today have embraced you, and we love you. We will protect the husband and the child you leave behind. The sister you were just getting to know. And we will greet every new day as a gift, approaching it with the same bravery and determination with which you lived your entire life.”
Jack gives Emily a scathing look, and goes to shake Conrads hand. Nolan talks her out of telling him the whole truth, for now. The Queen lays a Cala Lilly on David Clarkes grave, while Emily watches in disgust. The Queen always has something to say–she compliments Emily on her eulogy and proselytizes on the tragedy of both Faux and her Father.
Jack comes home and realizes that the laptop is gone. Grayson, he says. Aiden brings it to Emily on the dock and she throws it into the ocean. Daniel gives his secretary the Iniative clock.
Later, under the rain, Emily is at Faux’s grave, crying. She is approached by a hidden stranger, asking her if she knew her well. Yes, she says. Who are you? “I’m her brother….”
