Another Adrienne Maloof Early Photo and Other News by NoMoreDrama
Sloan found this old photo of (what is possibly) Adrienne Maloof with (what looks like) a young Charlie Sheen. That’s Adrienne’s mom to the right with the bright lipstick. The photo is from the 1990s, so that isn’t George Sr in the photo. He passed away in 1980. I posted another photo (under this one) from 2004.

And a few undated photos from Bravotv.com
Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Speaking of Andy Cohen, does this tweet make anyone else want to roll their eyes right out of the back of their heads. Someone asked Kenya Moore who she sat beside at the reunion, and when she responded that she wasn’t allowed to answer, Andy responded “Good Girl.” How patronizing. Of course it’s all for our benefit so we fall all over ourselves trying to figure out what really happened at that reunion. Andy can only be a puppet master if we allow ourselves to be the puppets! I don’t wanna be a puppet any more!!
Speaking of fake storylines, Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice, and Melissa Gorga were spotted at LaGuardia Airport yesterday looked like best buddies. Here’s a photo from FameWhorgas website. Just my luck – I was SUPPOSED to fly through LaGuardia yesterday, but my plane was running late and I was re-routed through Houston instead. Does anyone believe that Teresa and Jacqueline could EVER be friends again? Famewhorgas has a whole lot of New Jersey gossip. Of course we all know there will be a difference between what is filmed and how it is edited. Right now the gossip is that Teresa has distanced herself from Penny (the hair salon owner who is married to Johnny the Greek) since Penny was determined to get on the show by exposing Melissa’s past. Teresa is rumored to have told Melissa that she wasn’t friends with Penny, and that Penny was a stalker and just trying to get on the show. We all saw a photo of Penny talking to Melissa and Joe Gorga at an event a few weeks ago, and now it is being speculated that Penny is turning on Teresa, and trying to put some blame on her for digging up Melissa’s past.
Meanwhile Jacqueline Laurita seems to have gotten herself a tummy tuck through twitter. I’M NOT KIDDING. A while back I put some tweets on the blog where Jacqueline was hinting that she’d rather have surgery than work out. Apparently a plastic surgeon in LA responded to her and offered to do a tummy tuck. Shortly after that she disappeared to LA and was (gasp) absent from twitter for a few days. Great. Another plastic surgery on a real housewives show. We haven’t seen that before.
Dukes of Melrose by Jill
It’s another high fashion day at Decades as the duo and their wonder team are prepping the Hollywood elite for their prom. Hollywood prom? You know this as the Oscars.
The store keeps buzzing as Christos and Cameron help another stylist to the stars find the perfect gown for her busty client. The busty lady will be co-hosting Elton John’s Oscar bash and needs to look like a million.
Melissa McCarthy is up next for the divine Cameron who quips “You don’t have to be conservative if you’ve got a little extra magic on your body…” Thank you, Cameron. We have seen the regular sized ladies get dissed on so many shows that it’s a treat to rewind Cameron’s statement and listen to it over and over.
While Cameron hunts for the perfect gown for Lady McCarthy Duke Christos heads over to friend and client Liza-Mae. An 80’s fashionista from New York Liza-Mae’s closet is more of a glamorous museum of collectables. From the Moschino Jacket to the Alexander Mcqueen you are hook watching each piece emerge from the wall of clothes. The best part of Christo’s consignment shopping spree was watching him wheel it out of there in a suitcase. Those items should be traveling in STYLE not packed in a black cube and wheeled out under the cloak of night!
Back to Cameron in his hunt to find a great look for McCarthy. He has brought in Elizabeth Kennedy from Marina Renaldi to bring in some great options made for the more voluptuous client. The apricot gown is hung next to a sparkling black gown on the wall, ready for a walk down the red carpet. Since their dressing for the past 2012 event we already know the Apricot wins. The Decades crew is working fast to find a replacement tailor while on the other side of the shop Garcelle Beauvais is ready to find the right curve hugging dress with the help of her friend Christos. She is gorgeous and has an amazing body but it’s a lesson in dressing for your body type. She ends up with an amazing and flattering dress and Christos makes a sale and a date with the lovely Garcelle for an Oscar party. Everybody wins.
Prom time is about to start when Garcelle calls with bad news, an allergic reaction is keeping her homebound but that wont stop Christos who gets his adorable partner to throw on a tux and take her place.
The Dukes end with an Oscar fashion recap and have a difference of opinion on the apricot gown Melissa Mccarty wore. While the friction was at a minimum this episode the teaser assures you that next week will make up for it. The peaks into these overflowing closets and the pressure to find the right gown for any events make the viewer wish they could pop on down to decades with an unlimited checkbook to just see what looks the Dukes would whip together.
Hey Dukes, if you’re wondering, we’re ALL available for a Decades makeover!
Real Housewives of Atlanta Cast Blogs Blogged by HilDogAtl
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to All from beautiful Atlanta! We have been experiencing amazing weather the past few days and I’ve been fortunate to open the windows and let the fresh air in! The warmer weather needs to say!
Well only three of the ladies showed up for the blogs this week and is it wrong of me to almost let out a sigh of relief when I go to Bravo and see only three? I think part of my cynicism lies in the fact that these women’s story lines are so weak and they have been them like a dead leprechaun! LOL. Sooo, without further adieu I present to you reviews!
Kandi-Apologizing to Porsha
Kandi begins her blog this week telling us she has a tendency to speak before she thinks and with that being said she believes she needs to apologize to Porsha. She says her mom always said don’t butt your head into someone else’s marriage unless they ask you and that she feels really bad that everyone was questioning Porsha’s relationship with her husband. She also tells us that she is really proud that Porsha stood her ground.
“My situation is totally different than Porsha’s. I meant what I said about how I can’t relate to her situation, because it’s true that if you have to financially depend on your mate, then a lot of times that gives them more control. BUT that is not always a bad thing. These days divorce is at an all-time high, and I have to wonder if it’s because we as women are more independent and therefore less likely to put up with B.S. and not as willing to work through the hard times like the women from back in the day, who were more dependent on their husbands? Well, although I can’t relate to Porsha, I still wish her happiness and longevity in her marriage, and I hope she keeps doing what works for her. Maybe I need to be taking advice from her, since she is the married one.”
Ok, I may receive some slack from this but seriously, I see nothing wrong with Porsha’s marriage, so long as she is ok with it. Truth be told, in a perfect world, my marriage would consist of my husband making the money and my role is to run the house and/or the administrative side of our business. I would make him lunch and dinner and have a clean home. Some women are still ok with these roles. However, I am also all for a woman who has the cojones to follow their dreams and never be afraid to chase their dreams and goals. Maybe, just maybe, Porsha’s goal was to be a wife, mother and care taker.
Kandi then tells us she was appalled seeing her fart joke play out on tv…yeah me too, not my cup of tea.
Kandi finishes her blog stating that they were having a good ol Bedroom Kandi time until it suddenly took a turn and got serious…she was trying to have some lighthearted fun with the ladies.
NeNe-Is Kordell too Controlling
Are you guys shocked that NeNe blogged this week? The episode did focus around her a bit…but just the title of her blog bothers me. She beings tooting her horn that after a long day being a big famous actress, she arrived at 10, freshened up and was ready for a night on the town.
“Once we were in the limo, Porsha said loud and clear that Kordell would NOT be happy if she went to a strip club and that he had already LET her go from Cali to LA! (Which is around the block I guess, LOL!) Now let me break it down to you this way — I have been to strip clubs and worked in one when I was in my early twenties. Now I have moved on too much bigger and better things! I really like Porsha, and even feel like a big sister to her. If Porsha didn’t want to go to the strip club herself, that’s fine! The message I think we all were trying to send to her was to use your own brain and let this be your decision. We’ve all been around her and heard her say things that sound like she’s being controlled. Maybe Kordell feels the need to control her, because he knows what he’s working with.”
IMO, regardless of if Kordell said she could or couldn’t go wasn’t a big deal. She stood her ground and stated she wasn’t comfortable. Some women just don’t enjoy going to a place to watch women grind around naked. It definitely takes a confident woman to pull it off but I also think that she just wasn’t comfortable. Plus, Porsha is a newbie and I’m sure she is trying to look like a saint on reality tv…if she comes back for next season (which I doubt she will be asked) she may loosen up a bit more.
“Porsha also said she was a Christian, and I have to agree with Phaedra on this one — going to church doesn’t make you any more of a Christian than going to a strip club makes you a stripper or a sinner! Maybe Kordell thought she would dance like a stripper, because we’ve all seen that too. I have been in a relationship with the same man longer than any of these ladies have been in their relationships. I don’t want to judge Porsha’s relationship, because I obviously don’t live with them. I can only tell you what these eyes and ears hear and see. I watch the show just like you do, so based off everything I’ve seen and heard myself, it appears that Kordell is talking to his daughter and not his wife! Porsha can’t seem to do much without getting permission from Kordell. This is not my relationship, so if Porsha likes it, I love it, and I really don’t give a sh– what Porsha and Kordell do! I’m entitled to my opinion!”
How sad is it that these “grown a$$ women” are so concerned with this “little girl” and her relationship with her husband. I believe that Porsha is smart enough to do what she wants and so the hell what if she wants a “daddy” role. If it aint broke, don’t fix it. NeNe should be ashamed considering the sham she displayed with her “’fake divorce” (allegedly) from Gregg. Going to the most obscure, historically racist county in GA to file and get and divorce? They were trying to hide something. Gregg never left and neither did NeNe. It was for rating and for her to gain a story line, more of a sympathetic fan base and hopefully, just hopefully, her own Bravo show because she wants us to believe she is now the “Queen of Bravo” since Bethenney is gone. I’m not really trying to be harsh but seriously, do you guys not see what I see? How dare any of these women say a word to Porsha about her marriage…she seems to be the only one who is happily married…next to Phaedra.
NeNe then finishes her blog with the moments that made her laugh and of course to plug her wonderful Hollywood television show.
Kenya-Phaedra’s “Southern Belle” Character
Oh Lord, how does this woman have four pages of crap to say? How? She is a fraud (allegedly) and I just don’t get it but I will humor you all.
“Although the long, arduous bus ride left a lot to be desired, there was some fun to be had on the trip. I enjoyed Kandi and her silly storytelling, Cynthia’s impersonation of Kandi, and how light hearted most of the girls were being. Conversely, I found it disturbing that a grown woman would admit that she needed permission from her husband to travel without him and seemingly was following his orders on what she could and could not do while there. With that said, people have to live their own lives, and whatever works for them is their business. Notwithstanding the facts, that’s not my idea of a picture perfect life.”
Honey, we don’t care…Porsha is married!!! Have you ever been?
Then Kenya pounces into Phaedra! This whole blog is literally a whole biatchfest of her issues with Ms. Phaedra. It’s actually quite comical that this woman is so delusional but is it really ok to remark or even republish one’s grand delusions? Again, I will humor you with a snippit…a morsel so to speak because it goes and goes and goes just like that battery bunny!
“However, it goes against my spirit to be phony and fake. For others like phony Phae-Phae, it’s second nature. To add insult to injury, Phaedra in particular went out of her way to be an evil, vindictive, ugly person to me during the trip. The last straw was the underhanded insensitive, and snide remark about my lack of sexual prowess when it comes to keeping my ex. Yet, in the same breath she spitefully calls me a whore during her interviews. On the one hand she calls herself a preacher’s daughter quoting the bible and proclaiming to be an upright Southern belle, and on the other hand in the same breath calls me a whore for not marrying my ex.
She is a fraud in every way imaginable, including her fictitious “Southern belle character” she plays on TV or the 30 pounds she Photoshopped off her photo from her DVD cover. FRAUD! I shoot straight from the hip and do not play games”
Ok…again who is the fraud here? Aside from the suspected booty implants, Phaedra is simply being real. She is married, she has several careers, what is in her life that is a lie? You Ms. Kenya on the other hand scoped out a man in Atlanta just to be on tv and a show to try and make some money and once the editing was done not to both of your favors…things got ugly in the REAL WORLD.
Anyways…she says she attempted to get to the root of the problem but it just wasn’t happening…then she goes on to say that her video is way outselling Phaedra and the reviews don’t lie. UMMMMM yes, they do! You had your minions posting favorable reviews before the video even came out and many, many people called Amazon out on it. Either way, I aint buying your stallion, horse, hyeana, llama or anything arse video. She then tries to toot her own horn some more with that God awful song/video hot mess of a something that she released about being Gone with the Wind trash. Gone with the Wind and her name should have no association whatsoever in my opinion because it only weakens such a southern classic and Ms. K is so far from a classic southern woman.
Have a wonderful, safe St. Patty’s Day and be mindful there will be many “amateurs” out there tonight which scares the dickens out of me. Just have a great time! My soon to be in laws and fiancé celebrated at their annual St. Patty’s Day party last night…yummy corned beef w/horseradish, mustard and jus, carrots, potatoes, cabbage and irish soda bread…gosh, wish we would have made a plate…I’m getting hungry again! LOL Have a great week everyone!
