Real Housewives of Miami Filming? by NMD
While news on the filming schedule of Real Housewives of New York is still not forthcoming, the ladies of Miami seem to have started filming. Ana Quincoces retweeted this tweet/photo from Purveyors of Pop – the Producers of several housewives shows.
If these heels could talk…and they will this summer. Stay tuned:)
And here are the dresses that go with the shoes. They were at a party for Venue during Miami Fashion week.
So it looks like the line up will be:
Beverly Hills finishes and is replaced by Orange County
Atlanta finishes and is replaced by New Jersey
and then New York and Miami will air next. And around it goes.
Rachel Zoe Project by Amy
The show opens with Rachel in her bedroom with a few racks of clothes and 7 suitcases with 4 carry-ons. Rodger is bringing 1 suitcase and remarks that Rachel doesn’t need 4 fuzzy black jackets. Rachel will be wearing her stylist and designer hat. Rodger exclaims that their baggage overage will be more than some people’s flights. Once in Paris, Rachel sounds sick, she has lost her voice. Her sister Pam has come along to take care of Skyler. Skyler gives Rachel a flower because this child is adorable. In the car, Rodger complains about the baggage overage. Rachel reminds Rodger that she is not going to change and they’ve been married over 20 years and he should be used to it by now. They arrive at the Louis Vuitton show.
Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs is the creative director. The show takes place with models arriving and leaving on escalators. It screamed “Vuitton through Marc’s eyes” and was infused with Vuitton DNA. Rachel finds it unfathomable that he can be designing for two major companies. Rachel talks with Marc after the show and they are friendly. He comments on her hair and her voice. After the show Rachel wants to find the DNA of her brand and figure out who she is dressing. Rodger says it was the “sickest thing he’s ever seen”.
Giambattista Show, Rachel is excited to go to this show (although when is she not excited to go to a fashion show?). Rachel knew him back when he designed for Ungaro. He loves embroidery and tailors so well. His looks are for younger girls. As a brand it is very unique, he grew slowly as a couture designer for a brand who branched off into his own brand. She respects how he’s grown as a designer. She says it’s also really sexy. Rachel takes pictures with him and Rodger gives him a hug.
Rachel and Rodger meet with their international marketer Polly. They discuss how the clientele in Europe is different than in the United States where people prefer to be dressed up. Rachel says that she wants to sell her favorite pieces here. They are missing some looks from her show. Rachel is frustrated but believes that the maxis can still sell in Europe where they didn’t sell in the US. Givenchy sent Rachel several good pieces to wear. Rachel jokes that she doesn’t need to bring anything because she will be sent things to wear. Rodger perks up at this but Rachel says that Murphy’s law will take effect if she doesn’t bring things to wear. Rodger has red spots on his arms and legs and informs Rachel that he’s never had the chickenpox. Rachel thinks it could be a heat rash.
Valentino Show, Rachel gets emotional at the show because of the longevity of the brand. Rachel loves the show and can’t pick a favorite but wants to dress several of her clients in the designs. Rachel’s ultimate dream is to look back in 40 years and turn over her brand to a new director. After the show they call Pam and meet with her and Skyler to spend some time together. Skyler wants to go on the carousel. Rachel doesn’t think she’s ever been on one and remarks that if it brings back her vertigo she will be angry. Rachel doesn’t want to go around the carousel more than once and begins freaking out when it moves. Rachel feels sick and remarks about how dirty it is. Rachel nearly falls off the carousel as she rushes off.
Rachel and Rodger take Skyler for an hour to walk around and eat. Rachel seems very worried about germs and uses antibacterial wipes on everything. Rodger believes that he should be exposed to some germs. Mandana calls Rodger, he talks about how they are missing some pieces. Rachel takes the phone and says that the European market wants her maxis but they are not there, she wants Mandana to send more samples. Skyler begins to chase pigeons and Rachel toddles after him on her big heels. Back at Rachel’s office, Mandana relays the fact that Rachel needs more samples in their Paris showroom. Mandana wants the samples shipped that day and sends interns to gather garments, shoes, bags, and jewelry. They rush to complete the boxes for shipping.
Chanel Show, Rachel says going to a Chanel show each time is like going the first time. Rachel wants to wear everything Karl Lagerfeld sends down the runway. She loves the youthfulness. She calls it perfection. She wants to know he does it. Rachel meets with Karl after the show and tells him the show was beyond fashion. Rodger meets with Rachel’s friend William. Rodger says that he and Rachel have two anniversaries, the day they started dating and the day that they married. Rodger needs help picking out a gift for the anniversary. He says something small. William shoots down most of what Rodger and the store owner pick. They pick a Fernande Desgranges small clutch, who was a big designer in France in the 50s and 60s (that’s what he says).
They meet up with Rachel after they are done shopping. They go to to a special preview of Van Cleef and Arpel at the Musee Les Arts Decoratifs about their high fashion jewelry. Rachel loves seeing these pieces that belonged to famous women in history. Rachel feels that these are iconic pieces. Rachel wants to know why everyone looks so chic in Paris. Rodger is concerned about what he is wearing. Rachel has instilled a new rule where she only gives her opinion 3 times to Rodger, which he frequently breaks.
Elie Saab Show, Rachel says that it always screams “wear me on the red carpet”. Rachel says there is a sexiness and a glamour in everything he makes. She says he really knows what his target is and that’s women who want to wear beautiful luxurious dresses for no reason, and she loves that. She meets with him after the show for pictures at his stop and repeat. She talks about how much she loves his collection.
Nicholas Kirkwood Showroom, he is a footwear designer and Rachel really respects and admires that he takes chances on artful and creative shoes. Rachel wants to learn from him about being inspired. She pretends to hide a shoe away in her purse and Rodger says they will have to frisk her when they leave. She feels that he was one of the first designers to come out with wearable art. Rachel says that she can’t sell her clothes to everyone even though she wants people to wear them everywhere. They go to Montaigne Market and find a few of her items on mannequins. Rachel and Rodger are so happy and proud, they take a picture of her in front of the mannequins. She wants to dress the parisian girl because they are so glamorous and chic.
Rachel and Rodger to a restaurant called Fouquet’s. Rachel says that she must always go to shows in Paris and that being there is “literally the most inspiring time she could have”. Rodger gives her the bag that he bought. Rachel loves it. She says that it’s gorgeous. He also had Pam bring Skyler to the lunch and Rachel is so happy and surprised. Rachel says that after a week in Paris with an overdose in fashion, she has a greater knowledge of her business but is also inspired. (This blog brought to you by Google.com, because trying to spell a lot of these things correctly is very difficult.)

Welcome back Castaways. Last week, It finally happened. The author of his own fate let Pinky get to him and went ballistic. The faves (someone explain to me why THESE people are the ‘favorites’) forfeited the immunity challenge in order to get rid of Brandon. After a heated argument between mostly He and Pinky, Probst held an impromptu tribal council after he awarded the immunity idol to the fans, and Brandon was voted out. No shock there to those who saw the show.
This week, the show opens back at the Bikal camp with the others in total shock that Brandon hated some of them. Pinky calls him a traitor and claims he never had one cross word with Brandon. Hey, Pinky, Up Yours. According to Pinky (last week), Brandon slapped a gift horse in the mouth and bit the hand that feeds him. Pinky brought that outburst on his tribe. That’s right, I said it. I know he’s playing the game but Brandon clearly isn’t always right in the head especially when he thinks he’s about to be screwed over. Of course the other one running her mouth is Corrine. Compares Brandon’s crazy outburst to Mel Gibson. 🙄 Whatever, Corrine. I think Brandon was right to call BS on everything that comes out of your mouth. Dawn says she is sorry that Corrine got called out, sorry that Pinky got called out, she wanted to say something. Dawn, go sit down and hush. Don’t think these people won’t come after you. Pinky is pissed that no one stood up for him (so much for Stealth R Us and his core 6 which Dawn and Erik are not a part of). At the end of this, Pinky declares one of the Faves to be the ultimate survivor (of course he thinks it will be him). Cochran says that with Brandon there it was like an asylum and now they are just left with Pinky. He’s glad for Brandon that he was able to ‘fly over the coo-coo’s nest’. Now, Pinky has his sights set on Corrine.. She’s gone he says. We’ll see. This by the way was day 13.
It’s day 14 over at the Gota tribe and there’s tree mail. It reads “Beaten by exhaustion, battered by the weather, Winners will have fun, and celebrate together”.. It didn’t mention a challenge. Reynold says in TH, that it’s over for he and Eddie as far as making any social alliances in the game. So, he’s going to survive long enough until something shifts in the game. Well, Kids, It’s about to. We get to what I assume is the reward challenge and some Probsting begins. He asks Michael how he feels about what happened the prior day as well as Matt… Seems they are kind of happy about it because they had this picture of a utopian faves tribe/camp. Turns out, it wasn’t that way. Matt notes that he does feel sorry that it went they way it did and says he felt bad for Pinky and Corrine. Probst asks Pinky how are things at the Bikal camp. Pinky says it’s great, he finally was able to sleep, he had to sleep with one eye open the previous 36 hours because he didn’t know what Brandon may do. Pinky, Sit down and STFU. So, says Probst, both teams are feeling pretty good about themselves at this point and there is team unity on each (yes, I know he’s joking). That’s about to change because there is a mix up coming. Some people are about to change tribes. Probst has his assistants pass out 14 eggs. Each has a color in it and each player will smash the egg somewhere on their bodies. The color of the egg, dictates which tribe each one will be on. I think this also makes it a 7/7 split.
In case you’re wondering, unless you count breaking eggs, there was no reward challenge. See the pictures of the new tribes. (I’ll re-arrange the names on the list next week) Gota- Andrea, Sherri, Brenda, Eddie, Reynold, Malcom, Erik. Bikal- Corrine, Matt, Dawn, Julie, Pinky, Michael, Cochran. I think the advantage just shifted. This is no longer technically, Fans vs Faves. It is Gota vs Bikal (until the merge). Stealth R Us is broken up (but perhaps not) and so is Sourpuss Sherri’s so called alliance. Reynold and Eddie may no longer be on the outside but, we’ll see. Probst asks Cochran what just happened, he being a student of the game and all. Cochran answers, The game just started over. Matt says he’s thrilled to be on Pinky’s team. We will see how long that lasts. Probst tells them they each get a new bag of rice and a new flint in case the one they have is wearing out. So, what do we have now? Bikal is looking pretty weak (physically) from what I can see. I wonder what names Pinky will give the newbies. Hopefully he learned about exclusion from the previous 13 days but somehow, I doubt it. I do think however, that Matt’s lips, just like a magnet, went straight for Pinky’s ass. On the Gota side of things, a Very strong back line that is stacked to carry this tribe through the strength challenges. I think Sherri just got a Huge break. Also, let’s not forget those hidden idols. There are now two of them on that team. The only other person that knows Malcolm has one, is Corinne. Probst sends them to their respective camps so they can get to know each other. Let’s see how that all plays out and let’s not forget that Pinky is still gunning for Corrine (and she is gunning for him).
At the Gota camp, welcome to your new home for the new members. Reynold and Eddie are feeling pretty good about this shift and are feeling safe. It is also noted in TH (I think Eddie) that there is a 4/3 split faves to fans so they aren’t completely secure or may not be. While the four guys are talking, P2 explain to Malcolm and Erik that they have been on the outs with Sherri since day 2. (Well, dumbasses, what did you think was going to happen forming a minority alliance of 4 in a tribe of 10? Exactly what Did happen, that’s what – that is said in my best Jeff Dunham’s Walter voice). They would have NO problem siding with Malcolm and Erik if they wanted to get rid of Sherri. This immediately raises red flags for Erik. Meanwhile, the women (Sherri is the only original woman left on this tribe), are soaking in the water at another part of the beach. Reynold has said that Sherri is likely with the others (the women) trying to form another alliance. Eddie, is a great guy when he’s not around Reynold. Reynold, who has played his idol but unbeknownst to her, has it again, is a car salesman. Andrea is interested to hear all this but in her mind, it’s still fans vs faves. On this tribe, the faves have the numbers but I’ll also note that, so do the men AND between them, 2 idols.
Over at Bikal, the male female ratio is the same. Just putting that out there. Corrine likes Michael because he’s gay (suspected it but this is the first time I’ve heard anyone say it) but knows that she shouldn’t be so ready to align with him against her original tribe members. We next see Pinky talking to Julia in the shelter (who is not college educated like himself – Really Pinky?). He thinks she’s probably smart but probably somehow needs his guidance and help to get to the merge and tells her to be ready when he asks. All the while, Pinky is whittling that new flint down to nothing trying to start a fire. Remember what Brandon said last week about who starts the fires? Just sayin’..
Back over at Gota, Malcolm and Andrea are discussing and comparing notes. Things couldn’t be better for the faves on this tribe because the original Gota is completely disfunctional and gunning for each other within minutes of returning to camp. Andrea tells him that Reynold had and already played a hidden idol and also, that she had a dream that Malcolm also has one. He does, it’s on his wrist under the team flag he has wrapped around it but, she doesn’t know that. He says he’s a masterful liar when it comes to women and he hopes she believes him when he says he doesn’t have one. They leave this convo stating that if it comes down to it, splitting the vote between Reynold and Sherri is the perfect move. So, they way we are being shown in the edit, it’s still faves vs fans but now each tribe is playing against itself in the voting arena. I smell a blindside coming for somebody.
At Bikal, Julia and Michael are talking and he thinks he’s happy with this new arrangement and will see what happens in the next 24 hours. We then see Pinky (and yes, kill me now, the pink manties are back and they’re looking a little dirty) talking to Corrine telling her he thinks he has a ‘flipper’ in Julia. She wants no part of that. TH Corrine says, within 30 minutes, Pinky is spilling his beans trying to recruit Julia and asks, What kind of federal agent are you (about Pinky) and is that the reason ‘our country is in such a mess?’. Next we see Corrine talking to Dawn and she tells her what Pinky just told her about asking Julia to flip. Dawn is Shocked, I say she’s SHOCKED by this… Corrine says that for someone who is supposed to be able to read people, she’s lying all the time to him. The two of them note that he cannot be left alone and TH Corrine says she would have not problem voting him out. He needs a warm glass of ‘shut the hell up’… Almost Brandi-like (sorry) except she would say it to his face.
It is day 16 and time for the immunity challenge. If I am not mistaken, this is the same game they would have played at the previous time if Brandon-gate had not occurred. The object of this game is for two members from each, at a time, will roll one of those crates past a line. Then the next two go and so on until they have all 6. Once they’ve done that, they have to stack the crates such that they form a staircases and spell out fans vs favorites on the side. So, we have another strength game as well as a puzzle. We haven’t seen many puzzles this season.. Probst notes that in this new game, No one wants to go to council that night.
Let’s get this game started. First out are Pinky and Julia for Bikal and Eddie and Erik for Gota.. This may be Pinky’s chance to prove he wins these challenges all on his own but it isn’t looking good for him. Gota clearly has the strength advantage here as they are moving their crate like rolling a big ball down the street. Both went to collect the one furthest away which is wise because most of these players will go twice after a crate. Leave the closer ones for the end stretch. The game stays pretty much the same throughout. Pinky somehow has to roll 3 times but I don’t know how that happened. Gota beats Bikal easily, even with Sherri helping roll one (though she wasn’t much help), and has all 6 before Bikal has 5. They begin building their puzzle with Malcolm calling where and how each should go. Once Bikal gets going with it, Julia is the puzzle solver but she gets the first piece wrong.. Pinky wanted to wait and figure where each one should go before beginning (he’s exhausted at this point) and even the first crate they get in place is wrong. Gota completely dominates this challenge and wins immunity. RuhRoh…
Everyone heads back to camp and at Bikal, Pinky takes it upon himself to give a pep talk. During his speach, TH Corrine is throwing jabs at him. The original chosen target for execution that night was to be Julia.. She did after all mess up. Pinky wants ‘the girl’ gone, he says. Matt and Michael approach lord gawd Pinky and ask him what to do. He goes in to his Stealth R Us bit and tells them they are not part of it yet but will be tested. He says there are actually two leaders of it. If they (Matt and/or Michael) are asked to do something different than He instructs them to do, do it. That will be their test. Matt says that inside, he’s laughing his ass off at Pinky about his Stealth R Us BS but as long as it keeps him in the game, his lips are firmly secure to Pinky’s ass. TH Corrine is fine with sending Julia home as long as it isn’t ‘her gay’ leaving. She doesn’t like Julia or her nasaly voice (I would tell her to sit down and STFU but she was already seated when saying it). This of course after Pinky tells her what he wants to do. I’ll agree that Julia didn’t help much when it came time to put the puzzle together however, by that time, they were toast. Gota was already 90% done with theirs. Now, Julia who I’m sure is feeling the heat, approaches Matt and Michael and suggests they vote for Dawn. Huh? Okay, I know she has to try and probably figures that to be the best choice to get someone on the original tribe to go along with. Now keep in mind that for Pinky, it comes down to who He can trust. Corrine, Matt, and Michael are talking and she wants to know if one of the three fans, has an idol. Matt says he doesn’t, he believes that none of the others do but if he knew them to have one, he would tell her. Matt, Ass kissers and outright traitors don’t win this game. Not that I’ve seen anyway. He’s just raised several red flags among the people he’s talking to. Let’s get to council.
Probst ushers them in and for 4 of them, this is only the second one they’ve seen. The Probsting begins. Michael and Matt are happy to be playing with this current group of people. There is a lot of discussion about who may be going home, Michael believes one hundred percent that it will one of the three fans. Corrine is obsessed with flushing out a hidden idol, if one exists but she hopes that her gay won’t be voted out tonight (groan)… Probst calls for a vote. We see that Julia votes for Dawn as she wanted the others to do. Matt votes for Julia as does Michael. That leaves 4 we did not see. The Faves votes. Probst collects the votes and asks for the idol. Since none of these people have one, none is played. The votes are read.. When the first two votes are read with Julia’s name on them, she looks concerned and disappointed. I’ll note that the Faves kind of grin at each other in a knowing way. Next vote read, Dawn and then the next, Matt.. RuhRoh… Matt has kind of a WTF look on his face, Julia looks hopeful. Next three votes read? Matt. Probst admonishes Julia and Michael that they’d better step it up in these immunity challenges if they expect to stay in the game given what just happened. Remember I said earlier, I smelled a blindside coming? Didn’t know who but these pre-tribal discussions never paint the right picture. I laughed out loud because there is nothing I hate more than an ass kisser.
Matt says he’s proud of his social game but I think being too social is what cost him the game. Between his ass kissing and his statement that he would out a hidden idol if he knew someone to have it, was all these people needed to send him home. Next week kiddies, once again Pinky is blowing a lot of hot air about his strength but appears to fall flat on his face during a challenge. I’m not hopeful for this meaning anything, I’ve been watching reality shows long enough to never trust the preview edits. Malcolm is feeling salty and says that within a couple days, he’ll completely own the Gota tribe. I’ll bet Sherri may have something to say about that but, we’ll see.
Watch it here at your leisure. Close ad and watch as free user – Start Video (you may have to press play as well). Download nothing and just close any pop up windows. Some players may ask you to enter a word or phrase to proceed. I’ve tried that, successfully, with no ill-affects that I could see. That is, I’m suggesting it’s safe to do so. Ask if you need help with that. You can also watch at CBS.COM (with the commercials and it is torture because you can’t skip them).
See you next week. Til then,
Peace, MTH aka WTFIJeff
