Jealousy among Housewives / Project Runway – Down to Four

Jealousy Among Housewives  – No Really, There Is – by NoMoreDrama

Women supporting women.  We see glimpses of it on Real Housewives.  Cynthia being loyal to NeNe.  Brandi, Yolanda, and Lisa being supportive of each other. We’ve also seen the opposite.  Jill Zarin.  Most of the OC ladies.  Adrienne and Lisa.  Well now rumors are surfacing that it was jealously that led to the demise of the Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump relationship.  Remember back a year or so ago when the last season ended.  Lisa was shooting a spin off, and rumors started to float that it wasn’t picked up.  Obviously the rumors were false and we were subjected to Vanderpump Rules and Lisa became the first housewife to spin off a show that wasn’t just about her life.  Kandi will be next with Kandi Factory, and now Phaedra Parks will have a show about lawyers.  It’s a big step up from the “I’m getting married” tired old storyline spin offs.

As Lisa was filming the pilot for her show, Kyle Richards and Mauricio were filming a pilot for a show that centered on his real estate business (according to this article).   According to the source:  “They were in competition, from what I understand, because the network wanted to to add a spin off from the Beverly Hills franchise and decided to put Lisa and Kyle to the test.”  Manipulation of the friendship again??

About Lisa’s show being picked up, and Kyle’s ending on the cutting room floor: “I think that hurt Kyle’s feelings a bit, because she wanted that for herself and for her husband. That would have been great for his business and they even tried to highlight his real estate success when they shot an episode of Housewives in downtown L.A. These girls will smile in each other’s faces and pretend to care about one another – – that’s why you see Kyle crying at the drop of a dime. But there’s so much competition and cattiness going on, it’s scary.”

It was probably that reunion and Kyle’s plummeting popularity after the attack on Lisa (that Brandi said Kyle was aware of but Kyle denied) that was the nail in the coffin.

Meanwhile with the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, we’ll see Phaedra Parks take Kenya Moore to task for the disparaging remarks Kenya has made about Phaedra’s weight and lack of fitness – as the two ladies battled over their fitness videos.  Although Phaedra’s comeback is that Kenya’s booty is full of silicone.  See the story here.  I had been thinking all season that their feud was just a storyline, but perhaps it’s the most real thing about Kenya.

And Kandi Burruss will take NeNe Leakes to task about her nasty tweets, etc.  Even with all her success NeNe finds it hard to take the high road on twitter, and shows herself to be ultrasensitive to any slight comment her castmates may make about her in their talking head interviews.  Kandi has been the only one to even mention NeNe – and she’s taken the hits on twitter.  Kandi will confront NeNe about calling Kandi fat and saying things about Kandi’s former fiancee (AJ) who passed away three years ago.  The story is here.

In unrelated gossip, it has been revealed that Adrienne (who?) Maloof had a short marriage in the 1990s.  It lasted around six months. You can read about it here.  There’s nothing astonishing about that news – but it is another thing she didn’t talk about on camera – although we only learned about Ken’s son this season as well.

And finally – tweet deleter Johnny the Greek has been outed.  Johnny is the person who filed charges against Chris Laurita and Joey Manzo after they got into a physical altercation last Saturday night.  Asked on twitter if he was hurt, Johnny said something like “Hurt? LMFAO!.”  But when news broke that had filed charges saying he was injured, the tweet was deleted.  Johnny is infamous for deleting ALL his tweet history about three weeks ago – probably because his stories don’t add up.  Well Johnny, something tells me Joey and Chris are laughing their asses off.  Here’s the story.  And please don’t anyone think I’m on the side of Joey and Chris. I pick none of the above for the Jersey group.

Project Runway “Finally on My Own” by BB

Last week, Richard was eliminated.  The five remaining designers are: Daniel, Michelle, Stanley, Patricia, and Layana.

Judges:  Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and guest judge actress Jordana Brewster.  Mentor:  Tim Gunn

The designers are told they will now be working on their own as individual designers.  They are all very happy about that, but then learn they will have sewing assistants who will work under them.  They will be directing their assistants.  They will find out who their assistants are the next day after they find out what the challenge is.

The next day they meet at the Hearst Bldg., the home of Marie Claire magazine.  Nina tells them they will be creating a fashion forward editorial look to be featured in the May 2013 edition of Marie Claire.  Actress Jordana Brewster will be wearing the winning look in the magazine spread.  Nina doesn’t want to see a gown or a t-shirt and pants.  It needs to be an editorial look and it must be what’s next not what’s now.  They have one day and a budget of $250.  Nina tells the designers to not disappoint nor embarrass her.

After the designers sketch and come up with their ideas, they are off to mood.  Daniel is planning on doing a jacket (of course) and shorts.  Michelle is going to do a bitchin’ giant pleated pair of pants with a little t-shirt (didn’t Nina say no t-shirts and pants?).  Layana plans on doing something in bold blue with cut-outs and gold chains (huh?)

Back in the work room the assistants appear.  They are Amanda, Richard, Kate, Tu, and Samantha.  NOBODY wants Richard.     Stanley gets to choose first because he won the last challenge.  He chooses Tu because he sews well and can help with his leather jacket. The rest get to choose in the order their names are picked from the infamous black button bag.  Michelle chooses Amanda.  Daniel chooses Samantha. Layana chooses Kate.  That means Patricia gets Richard.  She looks like she’s going to cry because they were just teamed together and it was a disaster.

Stanley is making his pants and letting Tu work on the jacket.  Daniel is working on his jacket and letting Samantha work on the shorts.  Patricia is confusing Richard again and she is rethinking her design because of Richard.  Stanley is being OCD with Tu and the others notice he’s not treating Tu very well.  Kate and Layana seem to be getting along as well as Michelle and Amanda.

Tim checks in.  He’s worried about Michelle having a see through top with a black bra underneath.  Michelle is not quite as confident after Tim’s comments.  Stanley knows Nina didn’t want pants and a t-shirt so he’s wondering why Michelle is going that way.  Tim is also worried about the wrinkle factor of Daniel’s fabric and tells him to make sure his model doesn’t sit down after she puts on her shorts.  Tim is marveling at Stanley’s ability to do so much in so short a time.  Tim is intrigued by Layana’s editorial look; he likes the proportion of it and tells her to continue in that direction.  Patricia tells Tim she’s worried about the simplicity of her dress and wants to add a cape.  Tim tells her to rethink the cape because her dress looks ambitious enough.  He tells her to NOT waiver from her original plan.  As Tim leaves, he tells the designers he likes how ambitious they are all being and not to second-guess themselves.

Patricia is panicking and about to have a melt-down because Richard cannot sew that well.  Tu is thinking Stanley is being too strict with him.  Michelle has an epiphany about her look while in the bathroom (that’s where I come up with some of my best ideas, too).  The models show up for their fittings.  Patricia only has the lining of her dress ready for fitting.  A couple of the models kind of make fun of Daniel’s top and shorts and Stanley agrees it looks like it belongs on a kid on a tv show.  Kate and Layana think their look is the best in the room.  However, Stanley thinks his look is the best in the room.  Michelle is thinking Daniel is taking it to Sesame Street with his jacket.  Richard is trying to roll with Patricia as she keeps changing the process of her design as she goes along.  Patricia’s downfall may be her inability to work with Richard.  Stanley is having some of the same problems with his assistant Tu.  For Stanley and Patricia, it’s their way or the highway.

It’s runway day.  Stanley is acting like an ass to his assistant Tu who has been working his butt off.  Samantha comes over to help Patricia finish her look.  Layana finishes her look with a few minutes to spare and is very happy with her look.  She thinks Michelle will be her competition in this challenge.

Michelle has a white see through top with shiny leather trim, paired with wide leg pants in her signature green color.  Stanley has white culottes with a sleeveless print top and brown jacket.  Daniel has a bright, bright yellow short-sleeve jacket and shorts.  Layana has a bold blue armor looking top with white skirt.  Patricia has a teal/silver dress with white fringe trim.  She’s just happy she had something to put on the runway.

Since there are only five designers left, they will talk to all of them at once.  Patricia is up first.  Nina thinks Patricia’s element of surprise this time would not work for Jordana.
The shape of her dress (tent-like) would not be flattering.  Zac didn’t see enough movement in Patricia’s dress.  Jordana also thinks it looks a little shapeless.  Heidi wasn’t sure if she liked it or didn’t.  Heidi think it might be a good start with a stylist to finish it with accessories like a belt and some type of jewelry.  Patricia says it was difficult working with Richard because he can’t work with silk.  The judges seem to be sympathetic to Patricia’s plight of having to work with him.

Nina thinks it was smart of Stanley to make three pieces.  She thinks his look is highly editorial.  Heidi thinks it looks fresh, expensive and elegant.  They think he had very good management skills using Tu to make the jacket.  Zac thinks it all works for him.  Jordana really loves it for a photoshoot.

PR DanielPR LayanaHeidi sees Victoria Secret in Daniel’s top with the wings.  Zac doesn’t think the look is working.  Jordana loves the color.  The judges think a flowing skirt would look better with the jacket than shorts.  Nina thinks it has a lot of potential, except it looks a little Easter and FTD florist.  Heidi says it’s definitely memorable.

Zac tells Layana he’s really proud of her with her architectural look and the neckline.  Jordana likes the color and shine of the leather.  Nina thinks it’s sexy and bold.  She thinks it looks amazing and very, very good.  Heidi thinks it would photograph very well.

PR MichelleHeidi is shocked with Michelle’s sewing skills but wonders if it’s editorial enough.  Nina doesn’t think it’s strong enough and she reminds her that she asked her not to do a t-shirt and a pair of pants.  Jordana says she would wear it day to day, but wouldn’t select is for a photoshoot.  Zac says Michelle gave it away when she said she’d like to have it in her own closet.  Nina says it was not enough fantasy and too much reality.

Back in the waiting room, Patricia knows she’s out but she’s glad she made it that far.  Michelle is upset but doesn’t want to show her emotions.

The judges all love Layana’s editorial look.  Jordana could see herself wearing it.  They also love Stanley’s look.  Nina likes that his look has pieces to work with.  As for Daniel, they think his thought process didn’t take him all the way there, even though Nina says his design would be considered on a rack at Marie Claire.
The two weakest people this week are Patricia and Michelle.  The judges are disappointed with Michelle because they know she can push the envelope with her designs.  This is a throw-away piece for her.  Heidi hates shooting Michelle down because she has really gotten better as the season has progressed.  They talk about Patricia’s originality and the fact that her looks are her own and like nobody else’s.  They also empathize that she had to work with Richard again this week.  The judges are really torn about who will be going home this week.

PR StanleyPR PatriciaStanley is the winner of the challenge and his look will be photographed on Jordana in Marie Claire magazine.  Layana is in and leaves the runway.  Daniel is also in and leaves the runway.  That leaves Michelle and Patricia in the bottom.  Layana thinks Patricia will be the one going home.  OMG, Patricia is safe.  I can’t quite believe it.  Something is up because they show Patricia coming in to tell them she made it.  Daniel, Layana and Stanley are totally shocked, but also happy, to see her come through the door.

Back on the runway, Heidi tells Michelle she’s getting a do or die moment.  She is getting sent home, but she is getting one last shot.  They will explain it to her later.  When she goes back to the others, she doesn’t want them to hug her and she sits down and gets teary-eyed.  To be continued …

Next week each of the four remaining designers get sent to a different country.  John Legend will be one of the guest judges.

    Good morning everyone. Happy TGIF. 🙂 Its a beautiful day out. Going to have fun at the mall w/my mom. AZGirl is already busting a move at the gym. I wish I could be that dedicated. Well you groovy people have a great Friday.

  2. LA_Debra says:

    Ops, I’m bringing this over from yesterday. Sorry if you are reading it twice.

    I just watched the most amazing two videos.rofl. I wish I was smart enough to figure out how to post them here But if you search in YouTube for “Triumph the Insult Comic and Real Housewives of Atlanta” it is so funny! Ok, the dog is frequently over the top, but I don’t remember anything offensive in this video.

    And then on All Things Real Housewives (from Twitter) there is a video posted today “Kyle Richards and Lisa Venderpump’s Intense Fight That Didn’t Make It To Air” …

    If someone who has this figured out can post the links, that would be great!

    On a more important note – I hope that BB’s Mom is well on the way to recovery; that Beanie Poo has been soothed and stopped coughing; that Ice is enjoying her PT and not overdoing; that Contessa is mending and will be back to full strength very soon.

  3. Stars99 says:

    Yesterday on the blog there were some comments and questions regarding the Jodi Arias trial – and specifically about the cross examination of Alyce LaViolette, who is a key witness for the Defense specifically related to whether or not she thinks that Jodi Arias is a victim of domestic violence. Alyce’s summary of qualifications, as outlined on her own resume, are as follows: Psychotherapist, Consultant, Community Educator, Trainer, Program Developer, Teacher, Media Outreach, Public Relations, Expert Witness, Resource Developer and Court Consultant. (http://www.alycelaviolette.com/Alyce-LaViolette-cv.pdf).
    Martinez, the Prosecutor, during his cross examination of LaViolette, identified that Alyce has made several speeches about domestic violence – one of which was named, “Was Snow White a Battered Woman?” Martinez aggressively questioned Alyce about how she had come to the conclusion that Snow White was abused. He kept referring to the actual handout Alyce had used during her previous testimony when she was being questioned by the Defense. It seems that it is some sort of guide that she uses during a consultation to assess if a person is a victim of domestic violence or not. Alyce insists that Martinez is mischaracterizing her presentation and that she used that title just because it was intriguing or eye-catching. They kept sparring back and forth. At one point, using a very calm soft voice, Alyce asks Martinez if he’s mad at her. This is a technique that’s often used in dealing with someone who is combative. A couple of people in the courtroom gallery erupted into laughter. Martinez continued to ask Alyce if she thought Snow White was a victim of domestic abuse. LaViolette explained, “I have no information about the relationship between Snow White and Prince Charming.” Court is then adjourned for the day until Monday.

    • Stars99 says:

      I suspect that Martinez is going to try to prove that if one uses LaViolette’s handout, that almost anyone can be considered a victim of domestic violence – even a fairytale character. He actually got Alyce to say that in her opinion that Jodi Arias was the “victim” in the relationship – she said it twice. I suspect that Martinez is maybe going to use that same handout and attempt to prove that Travis was actually the victim. It’s hard to say how much info is accessible to the jury, but we know from other sources that Jodi has allegedly slashed Travis’ tires a couple of times, crawled through his doggie door to stay at his house uninvited, stalked him, etc.

      Alyce has made several speeches about domestic violence: “Was Snow White a Battered Woman?”; “Snow White, Gender and Power”; “Snow White and the Wicked Witch: Healing Childhood Abuse”; “Snow White and Female Socialization”; and “Gender Fairytales and Domestic Violence” the last of which can be accessed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFt8FCrBk6k. In the YouTube video, Laviolette talks about the roles that fairytales have in the formation of our ideas of who we are especially when we’re young, ages 6 – 9. During her presentation, she encouraged the participants to think about Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs fairytale and identify who what character the participants pretended to be as a child. Did anyone pretend to be Snow White’s father? Probably not – Snow White’s father was portrayed as being emotionally distant, impotent, didn’t protect his children and made lousy marital choices. How many pretended to be Snow White’s mom who was a step-mother? She encouraged them to think about what comes to mind when they thought about step-mothers? Evil… witch… mean… What do we know about women with power today? They’re often characterized as being a bitch and being mean. How many pretended to be a dwarf? How many pretended to be a hero? What do we know about heroes? They are strong, never got hurt, they save people, they were ruggedly handsome, mostly white, also very rich or at least very upper middle class. What do we know about heroines? Sweet, pretty, needed rescuing, got the man… Fairytales tell women they should be passive and long suffering – and so when children grow up they usually identify with the hero or heroine and believe into adulthood they’re supposed have their attributes. When a female victim of domestic violence women comes into a domestic violence shelter, she is told that she has to immediately change from her passivity. She’s told by shelter workers that she has to get tough, she has to save herself and her children, and she has to learn how to be less forgiving. Basically, they’re asking the woman to change her socialization so she’s less of a “Snow White” type of person and more like the “Wicked Witch.” Shelter workers are asking the battered women to take on different attributes from those that they learned as children. Likewise, when they work with domestic violence perpetrators, they ask them to get a bit more gentle and tender. LaViolette explains that there isn’t a lot of money invested into the actual prevention of domestic violence. She believes that providing better role models and fostering more flexibility in female roles will serve as encouragement for children to be successful in the roles they choose. She believes we need to redefine what power is: It should include collaborative decisionmaking and sharing responsibility without intimidating or hurting the other person.

      • iceNfire says:

        This was the one time I tuned into this trial that I’ve heard so much about. I was dumbfounded to find Snow White on trial, it made No sense to me.

        • Stars99 says:

          Yeah… the thing is… I felt myself channeling to Martinez… “Get to the point… get to the point” – but he really didn’t have time to fully form his point – since he didn’t even start questioning the witness until after 4 and they generally adjourn court by 4:30 or 5:00… Plus, I really think most of us have witness fatigue with this witness… it seems like she’s been on the stand forever… painstakingly going over every little detail with the Defense… that now I just want her off the stand for some reason. I’m horrified at so much of what’s going on… and it’s going to be interesting to see what tact Martinez takes with her… he had her rattled in like 5 minutes into his questioning… and he really came on hard… and attacking – which, when you’re dealing with someone who daily works with victims of domestic violence who have been attacked… is prolly not the wisest move for him to make – since she has a lot of experience in dealing with aggressive personalities. However, he also has made some great points already, in my opinion.

          • iceNfire says:

            yeah, I invested all of 10 minutes just b/c I’ve heard so much about this trial. I guess it’s just too late to join or even buy a clue

      • pat says:

        It’s really pretty tragic, the extent to which Travis’s character has been assasinated in this trial. It does appear that he could be emotionally abusive and objectify women. He had a “good morman boy” persona that he aspired to and that he pretended was his reality when it served him But he’s the victim in this case. I do understand that because the prosecution is going for the death penalty, the defense has to try to get just one juror to come in on the side of Jodi. It’s just sad for Travis and for his family.

        Juan Martenez came on a little too angry & intense, but knowing all he knows about what happened to the real victim, he probably IS angry. I do see where he might be going, in trying to expose that the expert witness is promoting a viewpoint that anyone could be a victim, etc.

        So annoyed that the dismissed juror feels the need to show up in court. She already nearly caused a mistrial. She can watch the trial from home at this point. I’m guessing her book will be out soon.

      • trudie says:

        While I was listening to the DV experts testimony I was thinking that, based on what she was saying, there is at least a little domestic abuse in every relationship. I hope the jury picked up on that too. I hope Martinez dials it back, but I don’t think he will.

    • kit9 says:

      I wasn’t thrilled when he went down this road but near the very end he hinted at what his actual point was and I thinks it’s a good one…that Jodi’s story is every bit as fictional as the fairy tale Snow White and basically, lies in, lies out as far as her guide goes. I just hope he can finish it up more succinctly when he continues on Monday. Oh! If, like me, you only started following the trial when Jodi took the stand, HLN will be reairing the opening statements today in case you missed them. I think it’s 1-4pm Est but check listings.

      • Stars99 says:

        I totally agree Kit9 – I think we’re going to hear never ending parallels to fairytales, etc. in the oncoming days and in his closing argument. And yes, I only started watching from like day 8 of Jodi’s testimony… I was a latecomer… lol I am looking forward to the opening statements to see how well they hold up even at this point in the trial. I don’t know why, but I just can’t help myself from watching… (sigh)…

        • Lisa Renee says:

          Hi Stars, you broke that down beautifully. I was familiar with LaViolet from years ago when she started the anology about fairytales & DV. For me, it was confirmation that I was on the right track when I taught my DD that prince charming was a big fat phuckin lie. Some day my prince will come, my ass lol. I agree that after a long & twisted road that Martinez is going to minimize/debunk the defenses claims of DV by declaring it as big a tale as Snow White. I was always very impressed with LaV & her work with DV, it was ground breaking at the time. She has lost all credibility with me & I can’t be the only one. I am ready for the rebuttal case, I have been watching since day 1. I do not understand Martinez & his approach with this witness. A few questions & he should have said in his best Joe Pesci voice, I have no more use for this guy. The good news is that the jury has no questions for her as of mid day yesterday. I think it is a huge mistake not to sequester the jurors & allow #5 in the courtroom. If Ariass gets the DP I am afraid of a do over based on juror misconduct. If she gets LWOP, hopefully appeal on that issue will fall flat. Defense is knocking themselves out laying foundation for appeal. To be continued, Lisa

          • trudie says:

            I have told my kids forever that life is not a Disney movie. Not every relationship has a happy ending.

            Curious – why has she lost credibility with you?

            • Lisa Renee says:

              Hi trudie, LaV’s cred was lost to me because I just am not buying Ariass was a victim of DV, the kind that makes you snap ala the burning bed. Also, all of her opinions & conclusions are based on the belief that Jodi is telling the truth. How & when LaV decided she was speaking truthfully is a mystery to me. She is coming off, IMO, as an expert whose opinion is for sale. A woman in Anchorage was just aquitted of 2nd degree murder she too claimed she was a victim of DV. It was believable because of medical records, protection orders, pictures of her injuries & not just not her word. This woman also called 911 immediatly after, JA did not & tried to destroy evidence. If LaV thinks she is telling the truth I have to question her objectivity. If LaV & the other expert believe that Travis had pic’s of young boys to get off on, he is the only pedophile in history that has nothing on his computer or in his home to back up this absurd claim. The defense experts also have to belive in her self serving fog that rolls in & out like the tide. JMO, Lisa

              • trudie says:

                Lisa, I totally agree. While listening to LaV testify, I kept thinking how completely naive she is. How anyone can base an expert opinion solely (for the most part) on Jodi’s self serving statements is beyond me. I hope the jury sees it the same way.

    • Twinkle Toes says:

      When it was revealed that Ms. LaViolette had invoked the fairytale theme in several of her lectures and Martinez began to pursue a line of questioning with regard to this theme, I suspected that she was strongly influenced by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, a Jungian psychoanalyst, lecturer, poet, writer, among other things. Her 1992 book, “Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype”, explores fairytales, folklore, mythology, etc. and the significance and impact these stories have on women’s psyches. If anyone is interested in exploring this idea, it’s an excellent book and I highly recommend it.

  4. Just Wondering in Jersey says:

    I just added this to yesterday’s blog before I realized a new blog had been posted.

    I guess you can add me to the list of sick/injured. I did something (not sure what) to my ankle a little over 2 weeks ago so I’ve been painfully limping for that time. To top it off my wonderful, sweet darling girl Mischa’s cancer metastasized and she had to be euthanized on Monday. And, my furnace is now acting up so I’m waiting for the service tech. Not a good two weeks for me.

    • BB says:

      Oh, no! So sorry to hear about your little Mischa and your ankle and your furnace. When it rains, it pours. I feel your pain (not literally lol)! Praying for you Just Wondering in Jersey that your luck will change for the better really soon. Seems like everyone is having some trials and tribulations lately.

    • LA_Debra says:

      Oh boy, I hope you feel better. So sorry to hear about Mischa. My heart goes out to you, that is never ever easy.

    • iceNfire says:

      Hi JWIJ – How sad, sorry for your loss and physical pain as well. I hope you see a doctor soon 2 weeks seems like a long time if injury is minor. Praying for you and yours And also that no one else joins are growing list of injury, loss, pain….

      • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

        Ice I saw the doctor on Wed, and had x-rays yesterday. He thought it was tendonitis but it could be arthritis too. He should get the results sometime today.

        • iceNfire says:

          idk why doctors always go to xrays first…damage to soft tissue will only show on mri

          • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

            He’s looking for arthritis which apparently does show on x-ray. Also I had mentioned to him I seemed to remember wacking my foot on something but I thought it was at least a week prior to the pain so he might be looking for a possible fracture as well. Of course I’ve been walking (limping) on it so that is probably not a Fx.

    • pat says:

      So sorry you have to deal with the loss of your girl Mischa in the midst of everything else.

      To BB, Contessa and everyone suffering through the misadventures of life, my prayers are with each of you.

    • Sending you positive energy and hope good things come your way soon.

      • Contessa says:

        Missy Jersey, I’ve been down from arthroscopic knee surgery and thought I would spring back to normal asap. Well that hasn’t happened and I am dealing with pain when walking blah, blah, blah. However the one thing they told me was to stay off the leg as much as possible and to ice 3-4 times per day. I also have arthritis in that knee as well. The photos of my knee look like a huge delta with thousands of tributaries, and in a healthy non-arthritic knee it would be smooth. In the interim you might try this: take some sort of anti-inflammatory and get a package of frozen vegies, wrap in a towel and elevate the ankle with the ice pack. This will help a little…but you need to be consistent with same. I am also sending you tons of hugs for your loss of your darling Mischa – I know how this feels and it is so painful. I’ve been down this road with my pets, and one from cancer. She is free of pain and playing with all the wonderful, loving animals on the other side of the rainbow bridge….XXXOOO

        • Contessa says:

          Pat, and all my dear Friends, Thank you for always asking about me and keeping me in your thoughts. I adore each and everyone of you and love our place. The support and care is so wonderful and truly helps my spirits. Of course I love the snark about all the HW and all of the shows that we watch and are blogged. I am overdue in thanking everyone who writes so well, I love reading all your wonderful words and each of the reports/blogs takes me right to the story. Also thank you NMD for keeping us all together and for all the work that goes into this blog. You are all awesome and dear friends! XXOO

          • Catseye says:

            My deepest condolences to you, JustwonderinginJersey, for the loss of your beloved Mischa.
            And to you, Contessa, ice, everyone suffering in pain right now–I have been doing the Yolanda (Master Cleanse) for approximately 5days now. I am using lemons, agave syrup and crushed red hot pepper. I cannot believe how GOOD I feel. I make up a tupperware of the lemon/agave syrup mixed with water and drink it with water all day, then intermittently take swigs of the pepper mixed in with a little of the lemonade and wash it down with more lemonade, plus drink as much water as I can throughout the day and a cup of diet tea at bedtime. I admit I cheated a little (I had a tiny bit of salad w/vinagrette dressing last nite) but then feel guilty immediately and move forward, drinking my lemonade. My pain has decreased dramatically AND I watched a show on PBS about “FAST FOOD” or some such thing, they stated that when you FAST your body goes into REPAIR mode, when you EAT it’s in the BUILDING mode, plus fasting forces your brain to create more brain cells. Interesting concept, but whatever is going on, I do feel VERY good. (And my pants are getting looser too!)

              Oh! I forgot to say, I’ve had knee surgery and injections, yet my knee continued to bother me. On this cleanse, yesterday I went to sit down and my knee made a loud POP and since then it’s felt like something got pushed back in place. I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

              • iceNfire says:

                Hi Catseye -Thanks for posting this…it’s the first I’ve heard from anyone that’s tried it. Someone on FB is trying the wrap that the Dance Moms used…waiting to hear results but FB friends can be flakey

        • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

          Contessa that is exactly what I have been doing. Advil, heating pad (heat helps me more than ice for some reason) although I have also done the ice when it swells up. I even used my Mother’s walker for getting around the house when necessary (and at my age it IS necessary LOL.)

          I’ve had to euthanize at least 10 cats in my life and it is difficult. Fortunately with Mischa I took Easter Sunday to hold, cry, talk to and kiss the entire day so I could reconcile myself to the fact the treatment did not work for her. I worry about her meeting others on the other side since she preferred to be an only cat but I’m sure she will set her boundaries. I also hope she meets up with her former owner who passed before she did. 🙂

    • Laineylainey says:

      Hi there just wondering…so sorry about your Mischa. That is so hard, but harder still watching the innocent little critters suffering. I hope your ankle heals up really soon.

    • rabblerouser2010R says:

      On no, I hope your ankle and your heart heals quickly.

    • trudie says:

      I am so sorry about Mischa. It is so hard to lose a faithful pet.

      Hope your ankle heals soon.

    • AZGirl says:

      Wow what a terrible two weeks! So sorry for your loss of Mischa.

    • Boobah says:

      JWiJ – I am so, so sorry to hear about your Mischa. Hope your ankle feels better soon. And I hope the furnace repairs aren’t too expensive. Feel better.

      • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

        Fortunately I have a maintenance contract so there is no charge. One good thing to happen 🙂

  5. BB says:

    Hi, everyone. My mom is about the same, maybe a little better this morning. I’m at her apartment right now cleaning. Have you ever tried dusting an elderly person’s furniture? It takes forever just to move all the “stuff” that’s on every surface. No wonder she never dusts! Lol. Oh well, back to the salt mines. I’ll check in later. Oh, and Jack and Daughter might be coming home tomorrow if all goes as planned.

    • chismosa says:

      BB hope your mom is getting better as well as baby Jack. All health and good things to you.

      • iceNfire says:

        Hi BB – Good thoughts for you, Mom and Baby. I used to dust my Grandmothers nick-nacks too…then I hired a neighbor girl to do it while we ate lunch 😛

    • rabblerouser2010R says:

      I am glad your mom is feeling a bit better. I am sure with the pneumonia it will a good thing for her to come home to a nice clean apartment free of dust that could irritate her lungs

      I bet you are excited to have Jack come home.

    • trudie says:

      BB, thanks for the recap. I cannot believe that with everything going on in your life you found the time do that for us. You are amazing!

      Hope your mom recovers soon and that you will be able to get to the business of being a grandma.

    • Lisa Renee says:

      BB, With all you have going on I was shocked to see your recap this morning & a lineup. I hope everyone gets back to their homes ASAP. You must be beside yourself with excitement of having Jack on your own turf. Sending good thoughts for all of you, Lisa

      • Contessa says:

        BB – thank you for the update. I get it with the older people’s knick knacks…too much stuff. I am now in the older category and must say I hate a lot of stuff around the house. A few pretty things out and very streamlined is my style, and I am from the school of less is more. So glad all is on the right track. I bet you cannot wait to get your hands on Baby Jack! Sending you and your entire family lots of love across the miles!

  6. chismosa says:

    hi everyone–happy Friday…

    I was SOooooooooo hoping Michelle would be off last night, she was on camera on talking heads WAY too much, i didn’t care for that, nor her attitude. I feel the women have become so catty, except Patricia, that i wanted them both out. I hope she doesn’t save herself next week.
    Stanley’s look was absolutely gorgeous. Totally.

    ~~~~~
    The Atlanta ‘issue’- as for Nene, i know many here don’t care for her, but i think she was shocked at how unsupportive her castmates had been at her success in network tv. (And yes, i know the New Normal is most likely canceled but i don’t hold that against her because NBC cancels EVERYTHING at the drop of a dime.) I think that rubbed her the wrong way, as well as all the side-eyes she was getting from Phedra LAST SEASON and Kandi THIS SEASON. Just MHO. Now, i don’t know anything about the ex-fiancee or anything, but i really feel Kandi was never supportive or truly happy for Nene, when Nene never ever denied the success story that Kandi was and is. Nene always made fun of fake Phedra, of which many of those things turned out to be true.
    Ehh, whatever. I’d take Kenya’s craziness and in -your face-ness rather than Phake-tra and her fishy marriage to the fishy guy and the fishy fake-dates pregnancy. Good luck with your two new boys cause it sure looks like Apollo helps out a lot- NOT! I don’t know how she has not been added to the illustrious list of HWs divorces yet, but you never know in a few years. Apollo WAS grabbing Kenya’s butt big time in Anguilla, cameras around and all.
    I can’t WAIT to see Arsenio Hall go at it and defend her marriage. Girl shut up and mature a little. You are so stunted!
    That link to the picture of Nene and Phaketra was hysterical– Phake was like 2 feet shorter than Nene. lol
    • iceNfire says:
      Hi chismosa – I love chatting with you but I just can’t do RHONJ cant/wont sry 😦
      • iceNfire says:
        but I will note that during Bravo’s recent up-front night in NY Kyle was excluded from the RHOBH ladies and her Tweets were all about her and the NJ ‘ladies’
        • nyc mama says:
          Was she excluded or was it a choice? It didn’t seem like the BH women went out as a group. Lisa was reportedly exhausted after flying in directly after DWTS and had an early dance rehearsel per her twitter. Brandi went out with other Bravolebrities to party and Yolanda was with her daughter. Not sure where Taylor was and Kim wasn’t there.
          Taylor was with Kyle that afternoon and Yolanda and Brandi had lunch with Brandi’s friend and Yo’s daughter, at least that is what they tweeted. Kyle spent the day with her family who came to NY on a family vacation.
          • iceNfire says:
            LoL – I knew the ‘excluded’ word would come back to bite me. I just noticed on Twitter that Lisa, Yo and Brandi were tagging and posting pics of each other while Kyle’s account was tagging and posting pics with the RHONJ’s
            • nyc mama says:
              LOL. That’s true. No pic’s of Kyle by any of them except a (probably mandatory) group pic with Andy. It just seemed to me that they didn’t spend all that much time together period. But Kyle and the NJ ladies were tweeting about each other a lot!
            • Laineylainey says:
              Hi Ice! I feel like I haven’t seen you in awhile. Hope all is well.
          • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:
            Taylor was with Kyle at night
      • chismosa says:
        oh i never said anything about Jersey but OK?! lol
        I only saw some pictures from Reality Tea– and i don’t think i saw all of them, but Kyle looked AWFUL at the upfronts. Maybe it was the angle of the photo or something. She looked very stumpy, like straight up and down with no waist-to-hip angle- has she had lip on her hips maybe?
        Tabatha on WWH last night noted that she liked Kyle’s hair and i like it too (i don’t watch BH) but i think she wears clip-ins to make it look fuller. She and Teresa had terrible stylists that night for the upfronts. Love that Vyle is hanging with the likes of Jersey. Geeeesh. The mighty have fallen?
        • iceNfire says:
          NJ/ATL I guess they are the same to me, my bad. I think Kyle gets a cellophane treatment on her hair. It adds extra shine in same way a dye adds color, or it could be a straightening chemical system. I had the Yuko system done a couple times and it not only straightened my hair but made it shiny too…costs about $500 but lasts nearly a year
          • chismosa says:
            Whoa Ice, I’m going to have to catch you here at a later time to ask you all hair questions !!!!
            I have MAJOR hair problems. So bad I just stopped it all and went back to the only people around here who know how to handle my hair without charging me a Chanel bag’s worth because of its length and thickness– the Dominican salons. Regular salons look at me and start charging me so much to blow out and/or trim.
            I had the Japanese straightening in 2002, I’ll never forget because i was in a particular hamptons house-share that year, and I refuse to do keratin or Brazilian or any of that formaldehyde stuff (even when they claim it has none ) that is out these days. My hair is very strong so the Japanese was great (for some people their hair breaks) – I was 8 hours at the salon I’ll never forget ! Lol
            I will try to find you here this weekend to ask about hair!
            My next course is just to have the domincanas put a “texturizer” in this spring/summer
            My hair, essentially, is like the actress Minnie Driver’s. but probably, unfortunately, thicker
            • pat says:
              I have very curly hair & I get a Keratin treatment every few months. (hmmm, I was told there was no formaldehyde in it. I’m going to ask about that.) I also have it color-treated and it’s long. So it’s tres expensive, but does the trick. Makes it easy to straighten and when I leave it curly, the curls are silky and bigger. Less frizz.
              • rabblerouser2010R says:
                How do you like that treatment? I use Japanese straightening, I need to go back and get it re-done but it’s so expensive.
                • chismosa says:
                  Rabble, if you don’t mind me piping in here — I know about 10 women who get “Brazilian Blowouts” / keratins — mostly they all say that it helps with FRIZZ. It calms it down immensely so around here in ny, they all love it. The only issue I hear from many of them is that their hair gets too flat and they need to pump up the volume when they have it in their hair. So many don’t do it here in our winter time.
                  Just thought I’d tell you what I hear, because I know so many who have had it done
        • mrspeabody says:
          If you are referring to Kyle in the mighty have fallen I don’t think she’s fallen at all, I just think she finally found her home.
    • pat says:
      I’ll take Kenya’s brand of crazy over Phaedra’s fakiness any day, too. If Phaedra is really getting a spin-off, that’s gonna be one big snooze-fest, I have a feeling. Both Kenya and Nene have hot tempers and very short fuses, but I do think they are funny. I think Kenya can step back and laugh at herself, tho she definitely has a screw loose.
      • chismosa says:
        word.
        Just cause someone’s got a screw (or many) loose, doesn’t mean what they’re saying is not true at times!
        ***Phedra sideeye***
        • iceNfire says:
          but Apollo being eye candy could have factored into The Lawyer’s maybe spin-off….is it just me or does anyone else think that Apollo is the sanest of the bunch?
          • chismosa says:
            I can’t find him that sane if he’s married to the Phaker
            ^^^^^^yes, I meant mighty have fallen from season 1- is that when Kyle was loved ? I don’t know, i get my info from all youse guys!
            I realize this year Kyle is terrible/ or true or whatever. Only Andy and I guess Jersey, like her. 🙂
          • princesspindy says:
            His voice cracks me up.
    • realhousewifeva says:
      I am a Nene fan for better or worse, because she is very entertaining, and when I watch TV that’s what I like.
      However, I don’t know if I agree with all you said. Nene has some moments that make me groan. I remember that as soon as Kandi joined the show, Nene was hating on her. Kandi even said at that reunion that she was so surprised at how her and Nene turned out because before she joined the show she was a big Nene fan and thought they would be close. Nene has always tried to dismiss the other ladies accomplishments. She commented that Phaedra’s only claim to fame was working with Bobby Brown 10 years ago, she said Kandi can’t sing, etc.
      Nene was right about Phaedra’s fakeness, but Nene was putting on a big fake show, as well. She was renting her houses the first couple seasons, pretended to buy her son a car even though she could not afford it, got evicted, owed a bunch of money, her charity was phony, etc…She’s lucky now, and i’m sure making money, but she was putting on a big show the first couple seasons. She was lucky that she was so funny and entertaining because that is what kept her on the show…not her finances. lol In a lot of ways she is like Vicki in that she cares SO MUCH what others think about her and she wants to make sure they think she is RICH, B*TCH.
      When Kandi helped Kim with her song, she was ready to put Nene on it as well and when Kim decided she didn’t want Nene on it, I remember Kandi being very uncomfortable with the situation. Nene was not very likable that season at all, getting in everyone’s face and showing her jealousy… but I stuck by her, lol.
      I think when Nene is doing good, then she is happy for everyone and wants everyone to be happy for her…but when she isn’t doing so good she can be a big HATER. People don’t forget that. What does she want them to do after she’s made mean comments about their accomplishments in the past. It’s hard to be happy for someone like that. Even I, as a big Nene fan, cringe at some of the things she tweets or says about herself. She is very ungracious about her successes and should be careful because Ryan Murphy isn’t going to be able to hold her up forever.
      Overall, I enjoy Nene more but I can still recognize her bad qualities.
    Looks like only Carol, Heather, and Ramona have been signed for the next season of RHONY so far.
    http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/confidential/shake-future-housewives-new-york-cast-article-1.1306936
    • I Need A Life! says:
      They really should have started a new line up. I like Carol’s blogs, and her interviews/comments, but not much else. Heather is a strong woman. She doesn’t let us into her life. I don’t care about Ramona and her wine. Not sure if I can take her eyes any longer. When you think about it, it’s just women meeting at a party and jumping on each other for the sake of a camera. I won’t return if Aviva, her leg, and her husband return. Luann…who??? Unlike the rest of you, I enjoyed JZ.
      • nyc mama says:
        I only enjoyed the first season of NY. Like all the others, 2nd season syndrome hit and it steadily declined after that. I stopped watching and haven’t looked back. I can’t watch OC, no longer enjoy ATL and NJ is just too obnoxious now so I am left with BH but after this season I will have to wait and see if I will be back for that one. I hated the Taylor/Russell storyline and what transpired; dont enjoy watching Kim’s dysfunction and Kyle and Mauricio get on my nerves, and then they brought in Faye so I am not sure if I will continue to watch. Same with Shah’s. After Reza’s deplorable behavior last year and the addition of Lllly, I’m done with that too.
      • chismosa says:
        Last night on WWH, the “play live” or whatever, was asking which housewife Tabatha should do a makeover on and Luann won the majority !!
        As for Ramona, I think she started it with Heather by saying “you don’t listen” or whatever she said, then the London shun, but Aviva came out of nowhere after Ramona. I can’t put that blame on Ramona.
        What is the saying “don’t come for me unless I call for you ?” Lol
        I can’t believe you liked JZ. How on earth did you find Lynn!?!?! 🙂
        • I Need A Life! says:
          I never watched OC, Miami, or Atlanta. I started NY in the second season, and for some reason, I liked the whole, “love to hate JZ.” She let us into her apartment, her life. That’s probably how I found Lynn. NYC, I feel your angst. I’m sure they brought Faye in just to stir things up. There’s just no other way that a person would walk up to Lisa at her own party and spew such stupidity. I felt like it was all an act and that’s why I brushed it off. I think Adrienne was the smart one to just walk away. She can afford to. Who knows how the producers were going to edit that reunion.
          • nyc mama says:
            Hahaha. I forgot all about Miami. That’s tells you what I think of them. Also forgot about DC which I kind of liked. I enjoyed most of the women on there but the whote WH fiasco ruined that one. IMO Bravo takes the easy way out. Instead of being creative they take the easy way out and use the lowest common denominator to create drama. I doubt if that is what the original premise was but it has morphed into nothing more than women behaving badly.
        • pat says:
          If JZ had anything to say about it, she’d be back! But it’s never gonna happen.
          Congrats @bravotv on great lineup of new shows.thrilled to see #rhnyc is back! Love my girls (cont) tl.gd/lfhe0p— Jill Kamen Zarin (@Jillzarin) April 3, 2013
        • nyc mama says:
          The first season I enjoyed her relationship with Bethanny but didn’t “like” her. She was always a pompous azz. I found Lynn when she was on Hubpages and remember the card and otay kerfuffles and also when one poster inserted herself in T’s bankruptcy so I only read. I also knew who that poster was.;). I enjoy snark but don’t agree with people actually inserting themselves in the bravolebrities lives and try to ruin them and I have never been a Teresa fan. There is a line that IMO shouldn’t be crossed.
          • iceNfire says:
            I found Lynn on blogspot (I think) right before hubpages but I dont remember “when one poster inserted herself in T’s bankruptcy” …how does a poster even do that??
          • lizzle says:
            And that is why George Clooney’s sister doesn’t even want her own brother’s number. She doesn’t want the responsibility of letting info out there about her brother. Celebrities go to great lengths to protect their privacy. Reality stars are more accessible to the public, which makes the public feel close to them and also allows the public to feel as if they can access their lives. The relationship between reality stars and the public is an interesting one. It is like regular folks have become the paparazzi. I would never ever insert myself in someone elses life. I value my privacy, therefore I value everyone elses privacy as well. But reality stars need to understand that their lives are under a microscope, therefore if they have things that they want to keep hidden… it is probably best to not go on these shows. I am not saying that it is right or wrong to disclose private matters…. it is just the reality of the situation.
            • iceNfire says:
              Hi lizzle – I agree So much with this. The prob is reality stars/hw’s Think they are celebrities and they are not.
              • lizzle says:
                There are so many problems with reality stars… lol. I don’t like to go into semantics, so I understand what you are saying. Reality stars are not famous for their arts or talents… they are famous for having a camera follow them around, which in turn, might highlight their arts and talents. They had an easy path to becoming somewhat famous. I don’t necessarily respect them for there route to fame…. I respect the ones who live their lives in an honest way and/or the ones who can admit their mistakes and carry on with integrity. Some reality stars just don’t get it… they aren’t necessarily special… just lucky to have been picked.
            • nyc mama says:
              I agree Lizzle, the world is very different then when the studios controlled what we saw and heard about people’s lives back in the 50’s. We all have cellphones with cameras and can all be “papararzzi” and the internet makes disseminating information easy. You have many gossip sites and blogs where people talk and can report stories. Reality stars know this (or should) when they sign up and they forfeit their privacy in many ways but there still is a line. One shouldn’t insert themselves in a serious legal matter when they have nothing to do with it.. That is crossing the line imo.
      • pat says:
        I think Luann can go. I still don’t really know who she is, but maybe because she doesn’t know who she is. She puts on such a facade. As evil and delusional as Aviva was, I’d almost (almost) like to see her back, just to “watch what happens”. Sonja was kind of a drunken mess last season. I do like that she seems to be a decent judge of character, but her personal life is a mess. Where’s the toaster oven?!? It would be cool to see her daughter, but sounds like the ex won’t allow that. I guess I’d like to see Ramona and Sonja back, just because I don’t like have to get to know too many new ones. Change is hard! 🙂
    I was shocked to read that Porsha”s former career was as a pastor. She comes across at least to me as not only dumb, but majorly mean. I think her husband was a nut job but I have no sympathy for her. Between Porsha and Kenya, I’ll take crazy over mean any day. At least this week.
    • chismosa says:
      I’m wit choo! Porsha is nasty and acts like she’s 15.
      Why was she at the upfronts ? Is she immediately a shoe-in for next season just because of the divorce ? Or as an automatic foil to Kenya?
      She’s soooooooooooooo boring. I’m perturd
    Anything on Radar On Line, I take with a grain of salt. Like Rob Shuter, a lot of their info is wrong.
    I have read the newspaper articles on it. In fact, they even made it into the New York Post yesterday. How proud they must be.
    Bottom line is Tarzan & Chris Laurita attacked a man. Jac Laurita, who has been dm’g people is saying she didn’t hit anyone with a shoe.
    Charges have been filed. What does Bravo have to say about this? It is disgusting.
    Let’s see them get grilled about this. Will Caroline call them garbage now?????
    • chismosa says:
      Well we never heard about the DR incident so why on earth should we expect to hear about this. Ughh
      • rabblerouser2010R says:
        From what I remember about the DR incident is that is happened off of camera. and didn’t involve folks who were in anyway connected to the show. They even named Bravo in the lawsuit ( I wonder whatever happened with that?)
        I think that as long a Johnny doesn’t try to sue Bravo that they will show it. It will give Johnny the attention he begs for and Bravo their ratings draw.
    BB – thanks for the Project Runway recap. I totally fell asleep last night. Will try and find a rerun this weekend.
    Big day tomorrow in Huskerland – it’s the Red/White spring football game (practice). I usually go, but husband has to work. Can you believe that there will be about 50,000 people in the stadium to watch practice? Them Husker fans are crazy. Plus it’s supposed to be 70 degrees tomorrow. The Big Ten Network is covering it on TV so that’s where I’ll be. I don’t know if I should cheer for the Red or White. Ha ha! I can certainly predict that the Huskers will win!
  11. Good Morning! Frustrating Friday! Grrr. But hope it is Happy for you all!
    Thanks NMD and BB for the blog today. BB – how did you do it with all that is going on in your life??
    I hope everyone who is having issues, pain or difficulty finds some peace and relief today. Know that so many prayers and Love & Light is going out to you and for you!
    New post, “The Fate We Live”, is up at my place. Enjoy!
    Happy Weekend everyone! Lainey mentioned colonoscopies upthread and I remembered a joke – some common phrases a proctologist heard during a colonoscopy:
    “Take it easy Doc you are boldly going where no man has gone before.”
    “You know in Arkansas we are now legally married.”
    “Did you find Amelia Earhart yet?”
    “You put your left hand in. Can you put your left hand out now please?”
    “You used to be an executive at Enron didn’t you?”
    “Can you hear me now?”
    “Let me know if you find my dignity.”
    “Now I know why I’m not gay.”
    “If the hand does not fit, you must quit.” (OJ Simpson)
    “Any sign of the trapped miners yet?”
    “Now I know how a muppet feels.”
    “Can you write a note to my wife to tell her my head isn’t up there?”
    Thank you for a pretty juicy to wake with! Am I the only one who hadn’t heard Kyle and Maurice had tried to make a spin off? Adds so much to the history of these 2 Ladies’ friendship demise. So glad tho I don’t have to see the Umansky mugs anymore than necessary.
    • catmom1 says:
      Not just you, I hadn’t heard either.
      I remember Kyle saying she had an idea for a pilot picked up. Didn’t know it was so unoriginal as one big infomercial for her husband’s business. So Bravo gave Lisa a spinoff and Kyle didn’t get anything – sorry but if this is the “my side” Kyle keeps referring to for why she wasn’t nice to Lisa at last year’s reunion – I call shinanigans on it!
        I thought the pilot was for a sitcom, not another reality show. Maybe I’m remembering wrong.
        Bravo already has a show about selling high end real estate , if that was the purposed show it doesn’t surprise me it didn’t get off the ground.
        • Powell says:
          Yes and they are interesting. Kyle would have been like Lucy Ricardo trying to get in on Ricky’s act. “Love you Lucy & Desi)
      • nyc mama says:
        I think that Kyle believed that since at one time Mauricio was voted sexiest husband she thought they could capitalize on it. Too late since neither are fan favorites any more and TV is inundated with shows about RE…Selling ____, Million Dollar Listing ____. Househunters, etc.
        Like Vanderpump Rules or not Bravo was smart for picking up Lisa’s show since it appealed to a different demographic and was a different premise than the other shows. They diversified their audience.
      • Powell says:
        WCW I call it childish. So its Lisa’s fault that Kyle’s idea sucked eggs & Lisa’s idea was a winner? Sour grapes and childish.
      • Twinkle Toes says:
        windy……….that’s exactly what I thought when I read that Byle and Moregreasio failed at their spinoff effort, while Lisa’s, for reasons I don’t really understand, has apparently been a smashing success. Byle’s perception of just about everything is always fairly skewed so I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if this was the big disagreement she claims that she and Lisa had between seasons and that she regularly whines about. Most normal people would not consider Lisa’s successful spinoff, as opposed to Byle’s failure with hers, to be a disagreement, but it is Byle we’re dealing with here, after all.
        • iceNfire says:
          Oh I’m certain Kyle can find a reason to blame Lisa for ‘sabotaging’ her and Morris’ spin off and I’m sure Kim will back her up as ‘proof’
    • pat says:
      It does shed some light, for sure. Kyle is so jealous of Lisa. Maybe the pilot/attempt at their own show explains why Mauricio showed up on a couple of episodes of Million Dollar Listing.
      • kit9 says:
        I don’t think she’s jealous of Lisa at all. Never even been a hint of that. And why would she be? She wants to be married to Ken and his mullet? Their problems go back before VR and if any jealousy existed over the spinoff, it ended the night of the premiere. VR is truly a god awful show. Excruciatingly bad. lol
        • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:
          I don’t see jealousy from Kyle towards Lisa. I think this spin off story is just speculation on went went on between them. I think there is something personal that happened with them. Something real-not some “reality” fodder.
          • Realhousewifeva says:
            I dont think so. I think it most likely had to do with the show because that’s what these shows do to friendships. They were good friends for years and then suddenly after the first season of the show airs, a problems occurs within their friendship? If Kyle is going to keep alluding to a fight that happened off camera between seasons, she should just say what it is already.
            • Jill...no not THAT Jill says:
              I agree rh-she needs to spit it out or shut up about it!!! ( I prefer she spits it out cause I’m nosy)
            • nyc mama says:
              I don’t think Kyle’s on screen barbs about Lisa, like calling her “calculating” or saying she “preys on the weak” amongst others helped their relationship either.
        • LaineyLainey says:
          Laughing about your mullet comment. 🙂 I know many people hate VR. But I like it!!!!! I’m crazy, aren’t I? I LOL when I watch it. My daughter and I enjoyed watching it together before she left…we had some hardy har hars! Like when one girl tells Stassi, “that guy just wanted to get in your pants…” and she replies “So? everybody does.” Perhaps we are easily amused.. It almost seems “tongue in cheek” the way they deliver their “lines.”
      • iceNfire says:
        It also sheds light on why Marisa shot that scene asking Morris to help sell MIL’s house. Kinda like the Brandi/SurWaitressWhatsHer Name sitdown scene for VPRules.
    • Laineylainey says:
      I hadn’t heard either.
    • Realhousewifeva says:
      Andy once said that he gets tons if proposed spin off shows from the housewives
    • Powell says:
      I hadn’t heard that either NMH.
  14. BB says:
    Hey, prayer warriors. Need a quick one. My mom called me and told me she was having trouble breathing. I had to remind her she was in the hospital and to call the nurse. I heard her do the nurse call and heard them tell her they were coming and she told me and hung up. I waited a little while (so the nurse could see what’s going on) and called her back. She answerd the phone and told me they were taking her down to x-ray. I’m waiting for her washer to stop going and taking my stinking self over there (because I’ve been cleaning her apartment for the last three hours). Hopefully, it’s nothing serious but she’s in the best place she can be. I’ll let you know.
    On a happier note, daughter called and said Jack is coming back to stay in her room now that he’s doing better.
  15. shamrockblonde says:
    BB – both of your loved ones are in good hands – your Mom with nurses and doctors who can care for her and your Grandson with his Mom who will keep him safe – I know it will not stop you from worrying, as it is something you will do until you actually see your Mom, but please know that she is in the best place right now – know too, that you and she and all your care remain in my prayers –
    *hugs BB really hard*
  16. rabblerouser2010R says:
    Bye for now folks..I am about to leave for DD’s school play.
    I am so excited for her.
  17. princesspindy says:
  19. AZGirl says:
    @Stars99: Thank you so much for the breakdown of the expert witness testimony. I watched part of it but just got bits and pieces. Testimony makes sense now.
  20. BB says:
    Mom seems to be no worse than she was the last time I saw her. They took her down for a regular test not because she was having problems breathing. I think she may be playing me a little, but I know she’s probably not enjoying feeling like crap lying in a room by herself at times and her imagination probably runs away with her if she thinks too much. She’s a reader, but she doesn’t even feel up to that right now. And she’s not the most patient person, so she’s probably just sick and tired of being sick and tired. But thanks, guys, for being my sounding board and letting me vent and share my concerns.
    • nyc mama says:
      I just posted this above BB, and I am sending good wishes to your mom but try to take care of yourself as well, you are stretched thin and you probably aren’t your own priority right now but you need to take care of yourself too. I know, easier said than done.
    • Kansas Girl says:
      Can you get her a recorded book and headphones? That’s sometimes a very involving distraction.
    • princesspindy says:
      It’s very scary having breathing problems which in turn makes your breathing harder, it’s a vicious cycle. I am so sorry she is going thru this. Remember to do something for YOU!!!!
    • iceNfire says:
      Oh good my Prayer worked 😉 Really sucks that your Mom can’t be with y’all and new baby…but you already knew that – sry – Sometimes when I read posts here I want to run right over to help…since I can’t I’ll just make it all about Me 😛
    • Powell says:
      Oh poor mom. She just wants this to be over & get back to normal. Hopefully early next week she can be sprung. I hope you’re rested & have been visiting w/your daughter & “Just Jack”. (Thks for that PrincessP) 🙂
    • Catseye says:
      I know exactly how she feels, I’ve been stuck in a hospital bed myself. I demanded to be released and healed myself at home (around my pets). I’m stubborn like that. But that was back in my late 30’s.
  21. princesspindy says:
    I love the sound of my house being vacuumed by my son, it doesn’t sound as good when I am doing it, hee hee!!!
    • AZGirl says:
      My FirstBorn is so good at vacuuming. Straight lines and all. Got to love them!
      • Kansas Girl says:
        You don’t have to get the floor clean — just make those lines!
        • trudie says:
          Sometimes when I don’t have time to do a thorough cleaning, I just spray furniture polish in the air. Fools ’em every time!
          • Orson says:
            I learned in the service that if you manage to pour and spread enough pinesol in the heads (latrines if you’re in the army) , the fumes will be so strong that the inspecting officer’s eyes will start tearing up and he won’t spend too long in there looking for demerits.
    • Powell says:
      It sounds good when anybody vacuums my house. 🙂
  22. AZGirl says:
    RT has posted pictures from the Upfront Party. There is one with Mauricio on a couch with Joe and Richie on either side. Suddenly…I feel very unclean.
  23. Kansas Girl says:
    Another Walking Wounded victim:
    *Cat has UTI. Vet prescribes antibiotic pills 2/day. Turns out Cat HATES pills and can spit them out. Turns out pills have NO coating on them (pharmaceutical companies don’t bother for veterinary medicine), so they start dissolving immediately. Pretty sure they taste bad. Every dose, I have much of pill on my fingers by the time what’s left goes down Cat.
    *Saturday we struggle. Sunday we struggle. Monday we struggle. Tuesday, after spitting it out 3 times, I get pill down her, only to have her bite down on my finger and break the nail. Blood. Pain. Lots.
    *Trip to my doc. I get tetanus shot & antibiotics. Antibiotic side effects: nausea, headache, diarrhea. Doc tells me to superglue the nail, once other healing is done. Wednesday, no sense going to work to only spend time in the bathroom, so take a sick day and cancel my classes. (Students rejoice.)
    *Venture out to PetCo to buy “pill popper” that shoots pill to the back of Cat’s throat. Vet calls when I’m out to say Cat has bacteria that would respond to an injection instead of pills, but it’s expensive. (LOL, if we’d just gone that route in the first place!) I make appointment for this. Pill popper does not work and now has deep teeth marks. Cat may be part crocodile.
    *Cat now fine. Human recovering, but will require bandaid on finger (or superglue) for at least a month. And tetanus arm still hurting. Thank goodness it’s Friday!
    Sheesh, it’s always something!
    • catmom1 says:
      Kansas sorry to hear (but greatly entertained by) about your problems. Can I offer a suggestion for pilling the cat in the future. When I make a turkey, I always freeze a little turkey gravy just for these occassions. I’ve found that coating a pill with turkey gravy (I’m sure other types would be work) will work with the most problematic cat. If pilling a cat is seriously problematic, it sometimes helps to have one person hold cat on lap and hold open cats mouth while second person quickly pops gravy flavored pill into back of cats mouth. Then let the cat lick gravy off your fingers. Helps to have the cat associate the pills with something good. Glad to hear everyone is doing better.
      • windycitywondering2 says:
        There are also little edible pill containers (made by Greenies) at most pet stores – I used them successfully with my cat that would figure out how not to be pilled!
        • Kansas Girl says:
          Both are GREAT ideas! Once the cat tasted these pills, it was all over and she knew what was coming. But she does like people food and would go for the gravy idea, and WCW2, a pill container is a good idea too. Thanks! My finger thanks you too.
          • iceNfire says:
            You too KG?? Sorry to hear you’re among the Walking Wounded…What the Hell is going on with us??? KidRock moves to Arizona in the morning and I’d like to once again say Thanks to Everyone here for helping us thru the rupture achilles. On the bright side of that awful experience came a closeness with Kid that I hadn’t felt since he was a baby and couldn’t fend for himself…does that sound horrible? I wouldn’t wish anyone to be bed ridden, Just Sayin’
        • Boobah says:
          Oh yeah, the Greenies Pill Pockets! They work really well for me.
        • Rebecca says:
          They also have chicken and liver favors of “play dough” to hide pills in. My dogs love them
          • Orson says:
            You need to hide pills for dogs? This method worked for me on a girlfriend’s dog: 1) get one pill. 2) get 3 doggies treats. 3) toss doggie treat #1 to dog. Doggie will jump, snatch, gobble, and swallow treat #1. 4) Repeat step 3 with doggie treat #2. 5) Repeat step 3 with pill. 6) repeat step 3 with doggie treat #3. 7. Praise good doggie.
      • Catseye says:
        Great idea. And if you’re alone, take the cat and wrap him/her in a towel. (Have it nearby and don’t carry it with you, they’re too smart for that). Once wrapped in a towel, it is much easier to pry their mouths open and stick a pill down. Some people use butter on pills also, to make it go down smoothly.
    • princesspindy says:
      It IS always something, glad you and kitty are mending!!
    • Powell says:
      KG so sorry your cat has been ill but its good she/he is on the mend. Tetnus shot. Ouch! Walk it off. 🙂 Nobody told you to stick your finger down her mouth. LOL. That’s like my bird biting my mom. Nobody told her to let the bird bite her. She’s still got the war wound. What we do for our pets. Well I sure hope sick feeling you had has subsided & you get back to tip top shape. When I was in college I sure liked it when the teacher cancelled class. Woo hoo.
    • kit9 says:
      I feel for your kitty and your finger but a very funny read!lol
    • Boobah says:
      Oh geez KG! Hope you and your cat feel better soon. Would have been nice to have known about the shot before you almost had your finger bitten off.
      With one of my cats, the Pill Pockets work. But our other cats are not so easy. A different option – hubby takes the pill, inserts into a small plastic syringe, adds water to make a pasty/liquidy consistency. Then squirts it into the cats mouth. Our vet okayed this because we were running out of options and she needs a pill every night.
      • Kansas Girl says:
        I tried mashing this pill up and mixing it with the laxative she loves. (My cats think that stuff is candy — weird cats.) This pill must be really vile, as she knew immediately. But a syringe is a good idea. I’ll watch for one for the future.
    • Just Wondering in Jersey says:
      Been there done most of it. Aren’t cats great? 🙂
      • Just Wondering in Jersey says:
        Just thought of something. I had a cat who liked cream cheese. I put her pill in the cream cheese, yelled treat, lick, lick and it was gone, pill and all.
        • Kansas Girl says:
          Cream cheese! Brilliant! I’m going to start giving her tastes of gravy, butter, cream cheese so she recognizes these as treats. Next time, maybe I can trick her easier.
        • Orson says:
          You could wrap the pill and cream cheese with smoked salmon.
    • Limespider says:
      Ouch!! I feel your pain, having been bitten and scratched by my cat when trying to give medicine. She would fight me like a little tiger. Usually I would have to give liquid antibiotics to her, so trying to hold her, prying her mouth open with one hand, and then squirting the medicine in her mouth was no easy feat. She would spat the medicine out, with both of us covered in pink antibiotic suspension. Finally, my vet showed me how to hold her by the scruff of the neck, much like mother cats do with their kittens. This relaxes or immobilizes the cat, making them much easier to handle. Bring their chin up a little and their jaw will fall open a bit, allowing you to get the pill or liquid in their mouths, then rub their throat/neck to encourage swallowing. The cat is not being lifted up by the scruff and dangled, but is either on your lap, on a table, or on the floor. There are videos on YouTube showing how to do it.
      • Kansas Girl says:
        Thanks! I’ll look for that. These cats are both about 17 lbs, so not easy to lift. I’d not even thought of grabbing their scruff, tho I’ve done that for smaller cats. Thanks for the idea!
  24. Powell says:
    Hey peeps! How’s it shaken?
    • AZGirl says:
      Good. Long week at work. Still stuck at office. Doesn’t Mr. AZGirl know that I am a 10 to 2 shift? 🙂
      • Powell says:
        Im sorry you’re still at work. Ugh. It’s TGIF!! Time to get off to relax. Mr. AZGirl is lucky he’s done his time. 🙂
  25. Hey Peepers! Whew….I actually have a few moments this afternoon to pop in. *Waves madly*! 🙂
    Catching up on the comments I see that BB’s mom is better….prayer warriors were on that one quick! Contessa you are still wobbling on that knee but doing ok, KG is being a cat wrangler, and Just Wondering in Jersey is still in pain…I hope I did not forget anyone, but if I did….sending out warm thoughts to you all and a heap of Healing Energy! May all of your weekends be filled with getting better, relief and peace.
    Right now, I am listening to the pigeons attack my roof! There is a nest up there under the shingles and they are sending dive bomb sticks and pieces of the nest flying all over my yard. Especially lovely since I just cleaned and watered! 🙂
    It is nice to have a Friday light afternoon. Love & Hugs!!
    HI everyone….thanks to those who wish DD good luck. The video isn’t upload yet but I have a couple of pictures to share..one was after the performance with both my girls and my friends son who is a class mate of Ryanne’s. It seems like all the kids from out neighborhood got to be plumbers. There is also one of her group before they went on stage.
    • princesspindy says:
      The holding hands picture melts my heart!!! So cute!!
    • OMG…cuteness overload!! Looks like everyone had fun! This age is so great…so many “firsts” for them and parents. I remember when DD was that age and a little older she played the wicked stepmother in Cinderella. The entire family + extended attended, I still have the video (yup) and a family friend who was an actor ran down the aisle at the end of the play and presented her with a bouquet of flowers. It was hysterical! She was so embarrassed!
      Your girl looks so sweet! Such great memories to make! 🙂
      • princesspindy says:
        Oh you just reminded me that I have a video of my DD’s Kindergarten play, an enterprising father taped it and sold them for 10 bucks, worth every cent!!
        • Precious memories Princess P! Though I do remind DD I have this video on occasion just to keep her in line…LOL!!
          How is your DD doing with the coughing? I hope she is better! Have you tried acupuncture for this yet? It may give her some relief. Acupuncture works wonders in my experience. Healing Hugs!
      I think youngest DD got a little impatient tho while watching the entire performance, because she kept asking :”When are the plummers coming on”.
      It was nice to see all the family (moms, dads, siblings, grandparents) that had to opportunity to come out. Both my parents worked when I was a kid…so unless it was something done at night…they weren’t there.
    Some pictures if anyone needs to vomit. Didn’t Brandi say on camera that her son’s are past the age of cuddles? One of the comments asks an interesting question wondering if Leann would be so invested in Brandi’s kids if they were 2 blonde daughters with their mothers face
      What? You don’t think the papparazi just happen to always be hanging out at elementary school ball games?? lol. Someone retweeted that “Stepmoms vs. Real moms” thing that Leann posted to Brandi and she basically brushed it off and said she’s over it and just wants to work on getting along with her ex.
    • rabblerouser2010R says:
      Past the age of cuddles….
      I think that will be one of the worst days of my life when it happens to me.
    • Powell says:
      That’s a good question. I say the answer is no. I saw a tweet where someone said to LeAnn something like “we get it. You’re a stepmom.”. Like we are sick and tired of your tweets about you being a stepmom. Shut up about it already. Bit LeAnn can’t stop because she’s so insecure about her relationship that she’s going overboard to keep it. Like “he won’t ever leave because he can see how much I love him & his kids. Poor stupid girl. She just doesn’t see the forest before the trees.
    puke factor………….JZ’s newsletter
    Dear friends and family, (yes…I consider you like my family!)
    First…Happy Easter and Happy Passover. Congratulations to my Jewish friends who fasted the entire holiday. (That means NO leavened bread for seven days.) It has been a while since I have written. We have been very busy traveling this past winter. From Mexico in December, St Barth’s (with newlyweds Brian and Monique who I introduced to each other last year) in January, Florida, Vermont (with the Coles), Nashville in February, Aspen/Snowmass (with the Rosens), South Carolina, Sea Island, GA, Boca Raton and then a luxury cruise with my parents to the Caribbean including St Maartan, St Thomas and Puerto Rico in March.
    As we speak I am packing my last bag for a while to go to London, England for my premiere SKWEEZ COUTURE show on QVC UK this “Blah blah blah” at 11AM and 8PM BST (British Standard Time). You can watch me LIVE no matter where you live at QVCUK.com. If you live in America and want to buy something you see on the “TELLY” please email info@blahblahblah.com (The show will air at 6AM and 3PM EST.) If you live anywhere in the United Kingdom I hope you will tune in and see something you like. My favorite leggings with crystals (and butt booster of course!) is just one of the styles I will be showing. PLEASE PLEASE call in to the QVC number on the screen if the host asks for callers! It will be so much fun to finally talk to some of you. I love reading your tweets when I get up in the morning (due to the time change…NYC is 5 hours earlier) and I cherish the gifts you have so thoughtfully sent to me over the years.
    As soon as I come back to NYC, I will be co-hosting a Talk Show called THE COUCH. Check your local listings or follow me on Facebook and Twitter for reminders if you want to tune in and tell me if you like my outfit! Then I’m off to PA to promote a Fashion Show I’m hosting at the BON TON store in Lancaster, PA; as well as premiering Skweez Couture Shapers and Legwear, PLUS Jill Zarin Jewelry on “blah blah blah” April blah at 8:30AM. Yes…8:30AM! I will bring the coffee and the up to 30% off discount on what you see walking down the runway. How amazing is that! Usually nothing on the runway is on sale. The saying goes…THE EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE DISCOUNT? Ok…yes…I am trying to convince you all to get up and come meet me!
    Are you exhausted yet? It is 1:30AM and I am still working and have a 9:30AM meeting and I haven’t even packed yet! Why? Why did I travel so much this winter? Some was personal…like visiting my parents and Allyson…family vacation with all of our children and grandchildren, as well as business…appearances…meetings…and some was just romantic time with my honey. As the old saying goes…”If you don’t keep the fire burning the flame will go out.”
    If you are married or in a relationship or want to be…don’t ever forget…you can’t sleep with your career (as told to me a MILLION times by Gloria). I can’t tell you how many people I have “counseled” and when they didn’t listen and did what made them feel good TODAY without thinking of the big picture…I guess that will be in our next book!
    Everything I do inspires me to design Skweez Couture Fashion and Jewelry. My newest jewelry collection in stores is St. Tropez (The green and blue collection). Next up? HAMPTONS. There is one necklace in the collection you will DIE for. See if you can pick which is my fave when it comes out at the end of April. When I travel …now I have a REAL reason to shop so much! I even have to buy “samples” to bring back to America! I know…poor me right? Does anyone have a violin? I think I need to go to bed now..I am getting silly!
    Thank you again for all the love and please share your thoughts with me…I read everything!
    Love, Jill
    If you are married or in a relationship or want to be…don’t ever forget…you can’t sleep with your career (as told to me a MILLION times by Gloria). I can’t tell you how many people I have “counseled” and when they didn’t listen and did what made them feel good TODAY without thinking of the big picture…I guess that will be in our next book!
    ^^^^^^^^^^ I suppose this bit is directed at Bethenny
    Jill is truly the gift that keeps on giving, she a giver!!
    • princesspindy says:
      That is so weird because at the beginning of the article it says Kim and then after the picture it says Kyle….
      • rabblerouser2010R says:
        The poll for Taylor is 50/50. It looks like she was able to pull a S2 Camille and turn things around for her.
        • princesspindy says:
          I would rather watch Taylor than Kim or Faye….but I would rather they were all gone. IPPHO
    • Vegas Chick says:
      Even though it’s date stamped 2013, I remember reading the same exact thing last year.
  35. boston02127 says:
    Does anyone know the breakdown of Kyle’s kids? I know the little one is Morry’s. Are all the others by one or more other fathers?
    • princesspindy says:
      I think just the oldest is from her first marriage….
    • TexasTart says:
      Three by Maury and one, the oldest has a different father.
    • realhousewifeva says:
      Kyle’s 3 youngest are with Mauricio while her oldest is with her first husband.
      Kim has 4 kids with 3 fathers. Her middle 2 are same father while the oldest and youngest are different fathers.
      • chismosa says:
        Whoa Kim. Was she married to those baby-daddies?
        I found it interesting in the Nightline I saw with Kyle and Morris that the eldest daughter was wearing a cross, so maybe Kyle’s ex is Christian and the daughter was raised that way.
        Do all her youngest 3 have bat mitzvahs and stuff? (She doesnt have any sons i think?) I’m surprised Bravo doesn’t film those.
        • rabblerouser2010R says:
          I think kids #2 and #3 or maybe it was #3 and #4 were with one of the Davis heirs that she was married to.
      • princesspindy says:
        What I don’t understand is wasn’t one of the hubs a bilzillionaire or something, so why is she so broke, besides the fact that she is an alcoholic/drug addict, yeah, I said it, she’s a phucking drug addict, takes one to know one!!
    • boston02127 says:
      “more other fathers” yea….that sounds nice….ugg
  36. Jill...no not THAT Jill says:
    Next Gen Hair Smoothing – Straight, Smooth, won’t wash out
    Formaldehyde-free system, no risk
    • pat says:
      Interesting! Thanks!! I will check it out! I have a Keratin treatment scheduled in a couple of weeks. I’ll share with the person I work with.
    • chismosa says:
      Ice, don’t know if you saw my long comment to you above, I will have to check this out when I’m on a better device– I think I’ll just be getting a regular texturizer.
      I hadn’t realized what you said you had had done was the same as the Japanese treatment (I had that 11 years ago)
      I feel that Kyle can’t have had a Japanese, I feel it makes your hair much thinner looking. I have SUPER thick hair so when it was Japanese-straightened it even got me to look thin-haired. But my hair typically blown out looks super thick. So I still think Kyle must have some clip ins to add fullness. Especially that picture of her on RT (I think?) – where she had a lavender colored short dress. Too fluffy.
      Thanks for any help or advice on this hair issue.
      • iceNfire says:
        Hi chismosa – I thot you were gone til tomorrow. My hair is super thick too and I have enough for 3 people 😦 Yes I love the Japanese system but haven’t touched my hair since I stopped working 2 years ago. If I let it dry naturally after using Wen (I don’t use shampoo) it looks like a giant over grown pia pet but it is half way down my back now so the length keeps it weighed down rather than standing up and out too much. Usually just wear braids or frizzy pony tail unless I’m going out with people then its tons of Wen products/flat iron/heat curlers….hour later it looks half way decent. I have noticed it is growing much quicker since I stopped using iron/curlers. What is domincana“texturizer”?
        • chismosa says:
          Hi! It’s just going to a Dominican salon, as we call them here in ny. They usually have an array of textures of hair they deal with, and since many (most?) Dominicans are African-(Latin)American, they have a lot of their own hair things they deal with
          Here they are generally known to be great at setting your hair in rollers, you sit under a dryer for what feels like eternity, then get the hair blown out. Comes out 100x better than a regular “blow out” at a regular salon
          The “texturizer”I was talking about is a relaxer, basically.i don’t care about frizz, I was born with curly hair, so frizz to me, is part if that, — what I want is to loosen the actual curl.
          I will try to catch you tomorrow again on here !
          Have a good weekend !
    I was over at http://www.ew.com reading the last recap of Bevery Hills (I haven’t read there in a long time) and I saw a comment regarding Adrienne wanting Lisa to come over and talk to her during her house warming/vow renewal ceremony. The commenter said PERHAPS LISA SHOULD HAVE BEEN ACROSS THE ROOM BRAYING UH OH SOMEBODY’S CRYING. Oh I laughed so hard at that one.
    • princesspindy says:
      LMAO!!!!
      That’s not nice, shame on you.
    • Rebecca says:
      That would have been the greatest quip ever! Then she could have looked her straight in the eye when the insulted Adrienne got her stained self off Lisa’s white sofa and said: “checkmate bitch!”
    • chismosa says:
      Back in the day **** i used to sit at work all day on the day after Lost was on and comment ALL DAY LONG on their reviews there. Such fantastic analysis. Id email the recaps to all my friends to give them their fill
      So good! I miss LOST
      • LaineyLainey says:
        Amazing show. I loved it when the opener zoomed in on an eye. Remember that? and then that episode would feature that character. I loved the airplane explosion. I never saw “freckles” on anything else? you? Oh and “Sawyer”??? mmmmm yummy!! I wonder what he’s doing these days?
  39. lillybee says:
    BB, best wishes for your Mom.
  40. chismosa says:
    Wow Halle Berry pregnant at 46. And she’s a type 1 diabetic. Isn’t that a big issue? My favorite movie of all time made it seem a big deal when Sally Field was not happy Julia Roberts got pregnant !? Lol
    Don’t like her taste in men, except baby daddy #1, he was nice but she used him for the baby and that’s it. Plus I always hear what a beyotch irl she is.
    • rabblerouser2010R says:
      One of the guys from NKOTB said he dated her back in the day (I forget which one) but I do remember wondering if he dated her before or after she went full blown nutzo.
      • princesspindy says:
        omg, NKOTB, 2 things, one poor Jon left the stage the other night, I think his panic disorder got to him….second, IPPHO, Andy was just creepy with them and his boy band obsession…I don’t care it just was creepy/pedo to me…more his Harry Styles obsession…but the whole vibe was off FOR ME PERSONALLY!!!
        • rabblerouser2010R says:
          😦
          Poor Jon, DH told me he took 1/2 a Zanny just to see our DD’s play. It must be a very difficult disorder to live with. I know this is a condition you are sensitive to (hugs).
          Who is Harry Styles? I am just thankful…he isn’t talking about that 13 year old boy anymore. That was just to much.
          • princesspindy says:
            1 Direction Is the 13 year old the kid that was calling in.
            I have gotten better this year with my panic, I don’t know if it was the year with my DD and all the ER visits or what but I have been doing so much better….still it sucks, especially school events, I am sooooo glad I don’t have to do those anymore, they were hell!!!!
            • rabblerouser2010R says:
              I thought the guys in 1 direction were older. I was thinking about Ben Wienner.(sp?) , he was a big fan of Bethenny’s.
              (BIG HUG)….The important thing is that you are still able to work through the anxiousness and do it. We are proud of you.
              • princesspindy says:
                Thank you! Yes, Ben. I don’t know how old they are in 1 Direction, I just thought Andy was making a fool of himself, but who knows how I would react to sitting there with Donny Osmond, LOL, who are we kidding, I would make a huge fool of myself!!! But still it was just kinda creepy to me, but maybe Andy was channeling his 13 year old self.
        • chismosa says:
          Pindy, that is funny because TO ME– it seemed like Andy was not a big fan of theirs and wasnt as fawny-fawny as he was with say, Scott baio and others from his youth (who for some ungodly reason agree to go on his show)
          I thought he was very dialed-back and was trying to amp it up if anything, like he wasnt a true-blue NKOTB fan.
          My crush when younger was the now- out Jonathan! Which I don’t get because he is too dark for what I normally like. Poor Jonathan! He said NOTHING on the TV broadcast at least.
          Danny was and is, one of the ugliest singers/stars I’ve ever seen.
          • princesspindy says:
            LOL about Danny wasn’t he the one that got all the girls.. he is not a good looking guy. Jon was probably holding on for dear life. I can remember my neighbor’s daughter was really in them. My boy bands were the Osmonds and Jackson 5! Scott Baio, why did he do the show, lol?? But still not as bad as Jerry Seinfield…ippho.
    • chismosa says:
      I have the Bette Midler 80s version on DVD. For some reason I love that film.
      I love 80s……..
      • princesspindy says:
        Oh my goodness!!!! IT WAS SOOO SAD!!! I was hysterically crying and my dogs came in cuz they were concerned and they started HOWLING, LOL!!! THAT was a really good cry!!! omgoodness WHOA!!! I was crying and laughing when my dogs went off….I don’t know when I’ve cried that hard, dang, 1937 and it still rings true….
