Kim Richards explains her Pillow smelling like Shit (you can’t make this stuff up) by NoMoreDrama
Kim Richards posted her reunion blog part deux. In it, she talks about Brandi Glanville’s comment that the pillow she was carrying through the airport smelled like shit. Kim explains:
“I still like Brandi even though she said my pillow smelled like s—! Here’s the thing, regardless of what Brandi said.. It’s my pillow, so if I want to s— on my pillow, or wipe my a– on my pillow, it’s still my pillow! I can do whatever I want with it! What’s really SCARY is that Brandi SNIFFED my dirty pillow! It had been dragged all over Europe, so no telling what was on that damn thing!!! So GROSS!”
Let me get this straight. It’s gross that Brandi sniffed the pillow that you were dragging around the airport, but it’s not gross that your pillow smelled like shit and you were taking it on an airplane with you – presumably to use as a pillow. It leaves a few questions in my mind. Do you really wipe your ass with your pillow? Is that what rich people do?
What I think is gross is that Brandi mentioned the shitty pillow on national TV. Why even bring it up?
Why didn’t someone toss that stinky pillow in a plastic bag – or better yet the trash? I assume you’re rich enough to buy another pillow. And no – just because it’s your pillow doesn’t make it right to shit on it or wipe your ass with it and then drag it around a public airport. That Kim, is gross.
The Confused Twitter Feed of Ronnie Negus – or Portrait of a Messed Up Housewife by NoMoreDrama
I read an interview where Ronnie Negus said that she never really wanted to do the Real Housewives of Vancouver. Her friend, Mary Zilba, kept encouraging her to apply, and told her that if she did it, everyone would love her. Part of me wonders if that’s why Ronnie is self destructing on twitter now. Did she really think she’d come off as likeable? Did she sign up for Season Two assuming she’d get a sympathetic edit after nearly losing her special needs daughter, Remy? Is it all Mary Zilba’s fault?
I also have to wonder if she’s jealous of the success Mary is having launching her single, “You’re my Hero.” Mary has been able to sing that dang song at least a half dozen times this season – which is remarkable considering there are only nine episodes aired so far. This week viewers were able to watch Mary’s completed music video. You can also watch it here:
Mary started working on the song on Season One of the show, and was clear that it was inspired by her son Chase – who has struggled with some medical issues. So it makes Ronnnie Negus look like a jealous fool to try and claim that HER relationship with daughter Remy inspired Mary’s song: “said when she was a baby we had T shirts and hats made that said MY HEREO is REMY. Glad I could Inspire xoxox 🙂 LOVELIFE” OhhhKayy – so you had T-shirts and hats made that misspelled hero, and that inspired Mary’s song 10 years later.
Ronnie’s twitter feed reads like the mind of a very messed up person. I’ve brought a few tweets over. Remember how Jacqueline Laurita used to tweet nonsense that just went in circles – ding ding ding we’ve got another Jacqueline.
Below is a snapshot of the confused mind of Ronnie Negus. Context. Episode Nine (recapped below) showed Ronnie hosting Ioulia’s party (so Mary felt uncomfortable going) and supporting Jody in her effort to lure Amanda and Ioulia away from attending Mary’s party. Ioulia in particular said she ditched Mary to show support for Ronnie. You can watch as Ronnie short circuits in her tweets – trying to distance her self from Jody, supporting Jody and Mary, distancing herself from the Mary/Jody feud, showing nothing but love, and then trashing Mary. It all took place over several hours and made my head hurt. I hope she gets help.
Distancing herself from Jody
“how would u describe ur rltshp w/ Jody, then? I know reality TV can warp the truth. So what is the truth?”
“I know her as an acquaintance from the show do not condone her behavior on the show but wish her ALL the best TRULY it’s who I am”
She takes a low blow at Mary:
“Mary said my special needs daughter peed all down her leg when she spent the night &made a BIG fuss! How inappropriate is that!”
(note from NMD – what is inappropriate is for you to tell the twitter world – and by the way – I thought you said Remy didn’t even know Mary in your last twitter meltdown – which one is it?)
Then she blames the producers:
sweetie dont group me with Jodys Hate towards Mary I filmed where I was asked 2 film &with whom I wish all of the ladies well
This is exactly what the producers wanted the views to see two teams ! I am not ON either TEAM. Have a great day.
Then Simply dont watch it. Im sorry you feel that way. I am not team Mary or Jody & want NOTHING 2 do with Their Fighting..
I did NOT behave horrid with Jody at all I had my own issues with Mary and DO not want to be dragged into mary and Jodys issues
Then she’s all love and forgiveness
I refuse to hold on to hatred &resentment it’s a Slow Death …Life Is too short. I wish all of my cast mates Happiness & Success!
FORGIVENESS is the answer It cleanses the Soul & allows one to move on being Love based. Holding on to hatred is like holding on to Cancer.
Even though I needed 2Step back from my friendship W/Mary & She is Anger based right now LIKE the Smell on Her FEET I Will Always B Around:)
And Yes I wish Jody Peace happiness and contentment, I think we should always try and reach our Higher selves & Be Forgiving to each other.
Then she defends Jody
None of our lives revolve around Mary RIDICULES did Jody talk about her too much?? Probably yes do you know the REAL REASON?
it’s because last year one of Mary’s main story lines was calling her store down calling her items Fake Used Not Vintage.
WE all understand how Jody would be so upset. How has Mary managed to skate through that with no consequence?
Because of the way jody handles her self and comes across. Needless to say my husband said ANYONE would have the RIGHT
2 B beyond mad if someone tried to destroy their biz. I don’t know if that sh*tis fake real or inside out..But it’s her BIZ!
And then it’s the end (I hope)
All of the Housewives should be given a HUGE plate of Humble PIE with a side plate of I’m Sorry.. Forgiveness with a cherry on top! :))
She says she’s quitting. Yeah
After someone said it sounds like she doesn’t want to come back, she said “I’m not allowed to say so how about this. MY husband is a VERY smart man and you don’t see him on the show 🙂 LOVE 2 ALL”
Real Housewives of Vancouver Episode 9 by NoMoreDrama
Last week on Real Housewives of Vancouver, no one but Robin filmed with Mary Zilba. Fortunately for Mary that meant she couldn’t be blamed when Ronnie fell off the wagon.
This week we start off with Amanda and Jody talking about what happened on Granville Island. Amanda explains that when they got on the boat, Robin had something to drink and Ronnie was drinking from a water bottle. Amanda speculates the “water” was really vodka, and Jody asks if Robin put vodka in Ronnie’s water bottle. Amanda says that Ronnie doesn’t know how the vodka got into her water bottle – Ronnie doesn’t remember doing it so maybe Robin did. Jody then blames it on Robin. So that’s going to be the cover story – blame it on Robin. Give me a break! Amanda then tells Jody that Robin asked her to have lunch with Mary later in the week. Amanda has agreed to this – but it will be torture! Amanda is wearing the bracelet Mary gave her for her birthday (which she saw in a store window and liked). Jody says ewwww – rips it off Amanda’s wrist and throws it in the ocean calling it fake Hermes. That reminds me that Jody was accused of selling fake goods in her store. Great marketing ploy, Jody. She says she’ll buy Amanda a new bracelet.
Mary and Robin meet at Granville Island. Robin confesses that the boat trip (last episode) was a blur. She explains that Ronnie was drinking, and tells Mary about the gangsta fight. Mary just shakes her head. We quickly move on to Ioulia, who is planning a birthday party. She phones Mary to invite her, and after Mary accepts she tells Mary that Ronnie offered to do the party at her house. There is dead silence as horror movie music plays in the background. Mary explains that she and Ronnie aren’t getting along – in case Ioulia has somehow forgotten. Ioulia says she talked to Ronnie and told her she wants Mary to come, and Ronnie has promised “no drama”. Mary isn’t convinced and feels like she’ll be ambushed. Ioulia says if someone causes drama – she’ll consider them going for her and she’ll take care of it. Mary decides to give it a chance – but the music is still playing so somehow I think she’ll regret it.
Mary meets for coffee with her two friends, Lisa and Marika. Marika was on the show last year. They want to host a party for Mary’s 49th party. Mary voices over that she only wants real friends there – not fake ones, so she doesn’t want Ronnie there. Lisa states the obvious. The problem is that Mary keeps going back for more abuse from Ronnie. Mary then fesses up that she’s agreed to go t o Ioulia’s party at Ronnie’s house the next day. Her two friends tell her she needs bodyguards.
It’s the day of Ioulia’s birthday and she’s ready to party. Ioulia is really psyched about her earring that she picked out for herself and made her husband buy. She’s even more psyched about her strange shoes that look like Russian dolls. Her husband asked if she made them (like glued on the crap) and she laughs and asks, “have we met?”. By the way – the shoes were $1,300. I’ve got a hot glue gun. I think I need a new hobby.
Ioulia immediately notices that Mary isn’t in the limo as Robin picks them up. Robin explains that Mary bailed. (I really don’t blame her but she should have called Ioulia.) Ioulia calls her and Mary apologizes but Ioulia is pissed. Mary says it’s the best thing for her but Ioulia whines that it is HER birthday. Funny how Mary can say no – but Ronnie is FORCED by the producers to film.
Ronnie is getting ready for the guests to arrive, and they show close ups of all the booze. Jody, Mia, and Amanda arrive and Ronnie voices over that she loves hosting parties. She says anything will be better than her birthday at dockside (where she was drunk and started screaming in public.) Jody does the happy dance when she finds out Mary isn’t coming. Ronnie’s gift to Ioulia is “The Tenors.” Everyone is happy to listen to them – except Jody who is rudely whispering in Mia’s ear. Note the drink in Mia’s hand. I only point it out because Jody is always slamming Mary for drinking in front of Ronnie, yet she has no issue with Mia drinking in front of her BFF Amanda. Hypocrite. Ronnie tells us twice that The Tenors have sung for the Queen of England and now they are singing in her living room so she she’s moving up in the world. I suppose. Either she paid them or they did it to get on camera. It’s not all about Ronnie.
The Tenors serenade Ioulia and she’s very happy.
Ioulia starts opening her presents. Earrings, champagne, chocolate, vodka, caviar. She’s all smiles. She opens Robin’s gift and says, “what is that? 40 dollars?” Of course Robin is annoyed. If Robin can give a $40 gift why is Mary expected to give Hermes? Then Ioulia asks the band to sign her chest. Tacky. And with that her party scene is over.
They revisit the last time the ladies saw each other – in Toronto when Amanda told Mary to go f- herself. Robin asks Amanda to address what her issues are with Mary. Amanda says it starts with the lie at her birthday party (about Mary’s friend’s son in the hospital.) Then she mentions Mary’s filler. I guess they are mad that Mary denies using filler. Mary says that’s just another thing Ronnie has said about her, and she could say bad things about Ronnie too but won’t. Then she goes on to say a whole bunch of bad things about Ronnie – that she’s evil, she’s on substances …. Amanda points out the hypocrisy in her talking head interview. Amanda says she doesn’t absolutely dislike Mary, and she’ll base her opinion on how Mary treats her. That’s a small opening, but better than nothing. Mary invites Amanda to her birthday party, and Amanda says she’ll let her know. So that’s four birthdays in a row.
Later … Mary is meeting with a matchmaker couple and has invited Robin over for support. Thank goodness this show isn’t on Bravo and we don’t have to see Patti. The matchmakers give her three options to choose from, handsome, wealthy or smart. Robin tells her to hold out for the complete package. Robin goes over her criteria, which includes height, size of …, etc. It’s a little embarrassing, but it gives the matchmakers camera time.
Now there’s a scene with Jody where she hatches a plan to ruin Mary’s party. I fast forwarded. I’ve decided she’s not going to get any more of my attention for her negative stunts. The only part that was funny was when she gave her dog a big sloppy kiss, and her nephew told her the dog had just eaten cat shit.
The next scene is some sort of dinner party of all the mean girls on the night of Mary’s b-day party. It’s a screw Mary party. Ronnie tried to excuse her involvement by saying the producers forced her to go. Amanda is there as well. I guess she didn’t give Mary a chance. They cackle like witches. The queen bitch says that Robin drugged her (the day of her b-day) (later on twitter she claimed she didn’t say that). They are wondering where Ioulia is.
Ioulia had been invited to both events, and decided to go to the mean girl dinner party instead of Mary’s party. First she drops by Mary’s place to drop off flowers and a gift and tell Mary in person that she’s decided to go to Jody’s party instead. She says she feels like she needs to support Ronnie. Ouch. That’s worse than phoning. Mary seemed surprised to see her – so it looks like she never said she’d go. It’s so strange because these ladies aren’t friends – they are just going to each other’s events to support each other. Then Ioulia goes to the mean girl dinner where Jody takes her to task for giving Mary a gift. She calls her a fence sitter. Blah blah blah more trashing Mary and Ioulia is wishing they’d all STFU. She decided to hang out with them – so she deserves to have her evening ruined by their endless gossip about Mary.
Mary doesn’t waste any energy worrying about Jody and her witches’ party. She’s got a room full of friends (including Robin) and no drama. Meawhile, Ioulia is surrounded by a bunch of sour women that can’t stop talking about Mary. They’ve decided Mary’s a sociopath. Amanda even cackles that she never told Mary she wasn’t coming to her party – so Mary is probably wandering around looking for her. Yup. ‘Cause it’s all about Amanda. Amanda places a call to Robin to ruin her fun at Mary’s party. I hope these women look back at their behavior and feel ashamed. In Jody’s words. Disgusting. Ioulia is done.
Back at Mary’s – Ali (her producer?) arrives with her music video, and they play it. I know it’s a little corny, but it actually makes me tear up a little to see the faces of her friends when they watch it. I suppose the editing is juxtaposing good versus evil, but the witches sure don’t help themselves.
Next episode is the season finale. Ronnie seems unstable, so I’m glad it’s over.
Dukes of Melrose, Not Cheap, Chic!! by Jill
Christo’s has turned over the pocketbook to Cameron this week, as restocking the store is the main goal. With the Met Gala and Cannes just around the corner, empty hangers are calling for new mates. But the boys show off more stellar pieces including a $30,000 Givenchy beaded dress that would wow at any event before the $pending begins. He investment is steep but Cameron knows the gown will sell, maybe just not this year.
The Dukes are showing us that men should not shy away from color. From eggplant to puce each rainbow stipe is being represented on the Decades floor. Cameron is readying himself for a voyage to New York for the Metropolitan Vintage show where hundreds of vintage pieces are available to shoppers to buy and try, adding eclectic charm to any closet. Christo, trying to assert some control over our lovable Cameron, offers up coach tickets and a meager (in Cameron’s eyes) $5000 budget. Don’t forget, as Cameron reminds decades is “Not Cheap, Chic.” And that says it all. Decades =’s Chic. Marcus is joining Camron on this shopping trip but his sole task is to keep Cameron on budget. That is a tack that even a fashionable super spy would have a hard time accomplishing if shopping with Cameron.
The dollars are being spent in New York faster then Marcus can add. Between trying on a gold Lanvin sheath dress (Marcus- you looked divine) and haggling with the sellers, we lose track on what will be going home with the boys. While a worried Christos’ calls go unanswered we stop, fashion pause.
Back in Los Angeles, Christos is raiding another actresses closet with a specific goal. Lovely Monet Mazur is cleaning out items to afford a new Chanel bag. To rack up dollars she parts with some Loubouton shoes and a Black Balenciaga dress. $500 here, a $1000 there and Monet may just get her Chanel wish with the help of Fairy Godfather, Christos.
It’s back to New York and Cameron’s Mint Green Tunic show. Cameron spots the spectacular piece displayed high above the racks and can not turn down it’s siren call. Honestly, either could I. Fashion is about taking risks and trying on things that you never thought you would. You know as Cameron turns and admires himself in the mirror that the mink has found a new home. Thank you Claude Montana for this little moment and did you hear the register right up for $1,500 as Cameron swooned? I did.
The mink is great but it’s a gold 1930’s style art deco dress that might just break the budget. At $2000 it means the boys are over their $5000 budget but even a first time fashionista can spot this dress is meant for Decades. A bit of haggling and this piece has a plane ticket back to Los Angeles.
As Marcus and Cameron wheel in their finds at Decades, we know they also return with a blown budget. A bit more has been spent and the boys await a blow up from Christos…….that is not coming. It’s the oldest trick in the book and our frugal (still hard to say?) Duke Christos reveals the actual budget number. Marcus is relieved and well, Duke Cameron’s eyes sparkle and you know his budget restraint will never be reeled in.
All in the name of fashion. All in the name of Chic, NOT cheap.
Revenge 3/31 Masquerade by SugarMagnolia
“All too often we mask truth in artifice. Concealing ourselves for fear of losing the ones we love. Or prolonging a deception for those we wish to expose. We hide behind that which brings us comfort from pain and sadness. Or use it to repel a truth too devastating to accept.”
The Porters are busy setting up Conrad’s Town Hall Meeting. And Nolan is slowly losing his mind and behaving like John Nash. He’s got his own murder board in his office and is writing code on his windows. It’s been 6 weeks since Padma’s disappearance and although he was questioned by the authorities, he has hired them to find her. But, no luck yet, and based on homicide history (and the Initiative’s history), the odds are not her in favor. Emily arrives at Nolcorp because it’s her turn to take care of Nolan instead of vice-versa. He looks tired, and hasn’t even bothered to do his usual spiffy wardrobe. After Em’s expresses her concern, he tells her that he fears that he has failed on every “job” she has given him. And now he has failed Padma…Emily reminds him that he saved Jack’s life. At that moment, he gets a text from Jack asking for help. And, only 2 minutes in, we get the best line of the episode. “Start your reveng-ines”. Nolan knows that Jack is getting in deep with the Graysons, but he still won’t speak to Emily so she cannot do her usual anti-Grayson magic. She pleads with him to remember that his friends need him and can’t keep hiding in his cave. As usual, she has a plan and once again asks him to trust her.
The Queen is wrapped in her plans for her Masquerade Ball, while Daniel enters to grab a coffee before work. He makes a snide comment that the RSVP’s are people who will pretend to be her friend for the night. She snipes back with an even more snide comment about how she had to cancel the event last year due to his murder trial. Daniel needs to learn that he can’t out-bitch the bitch. She has far too much experience being cold and calculated. She wants to set him up with one of their guests, seeing as how it’s been 6 weeks since his failed reconciliation with Emily. Daniel counters that the only reason it failed was a direct threat from the Initiative. He won’t risk her life. As the Queen sips her coffee, she explains that the women will come regardless. Daniel says that she’s never approved of any woman he has chosen for himself, and on cue, HBB enters. She has some RSVP’s that came to campaign HQ and wanted to deliver them in person. Especially the one postmarked 1973, and is signed by “your loving son.” Flashback to young Victoria–finding out that she is 7-8 weeks along. She must make a decision that will affect the rest of her life. She snaps herself back into the present day, and makes yet another cutting comment to HBB. Watch and learn, HBB…
Emily and Aiden are discussing Nolan, and hoping that she was able to get through to him. Aiden is feeling burden that his misjudgement is causing Nolan so much pain. Emily reminds him that she is also responsible. And that she promised to find Padma. They need to draw out Trask if there is any chance of finding her. And he is possession of Carrion. This could risk their connection to the Initiative, but they both owe it to Nolan to try. Their last card to play is the RSVP, that we now know Emily sent to the Queen. They are hoping she will take it seriously. She is not invited to the ball, but is doing her best to make sure she attends.
HBB is quizzing Conrad on potential questions for the town hall conference. He arrogantly calls the people “townies” and doesn’t think they have the brains to ask any of her questions. A new character, who I assume is his campaign manager, says, yes they are actually, but was sure to get the townies to pre-submit their questions. Conrad practices his faked empathy for the working class, and Jack advises him to not say “working class”. Conrad gives Jack kudos for that, and a big applause for him being the man that helped his polling results. HBB tells him to tap his inner Clinton. The campaign guy reminds him to not “tap” anything anymore, right Miss Davenport? Ha! She lets it roll without comment, and extends an invitation to the men Porters to the ball. And she already bought them masks. Jack, says thanks and will be there. HBB fills Conrad in on the suspicious RSVP, but she is off course, thinking that it is his opponent who is behind it. She hands him an ear wig to wear so that she can control all of his communication in case “expect the unexpected” shows up to cause drama. She schools him on his words, his wardrobe, and then dismisses him. Conrad compliments her on her talent, and she gets best line #2. “Well, i learned from the best.” Conrad says, “You meant Victoria.” She smirks and says “Yeah” in a “duh, ding dong” kind of tone. Funny! And true!
Daniel is pissed at Aiden. They back and forth about investments, money, etc. It’s all Greek to me, maybe someone who knows something about this can sound off in the comments. All I know is that this was the risk Aiden had to take to draw out Trask, and it worked. Because he has appeared….and Aiden gives Emily a call to let her know that their plan worked.
Nolan has gotten a little of his Mojo back, and is back in his fantastic wardrobe. He is confronting Jack about his dalliance with Conrad and wants to know if he has crossed over to the other side. Jack puts him at ease, hands him a
Grayson pin, and fills him in on his plans. He also has an earwig to wear to keep Connie from saying stuff that will upset the 99%ers, and hands it over to Nolan to do his hacking magic.
The Queen is once again looking at the RSVP while sitting at her vanity. Emily appears in the mirror and apologizes in advance about her intrusion. Vic does not give her a pass…Emily inquires if her invitation to the ball was lost in the mail, and Victoria ensures her that it didnt’, because one was never sent. Daniel has moved on, and so should she. Emily regrets that she will miss the event of the season, but leaves with her usual knowing smile. I am not a fan of boxing, wrestling, UFC kind of stuff. But I would pay good money to see these two throw down in a fight. They are equally matched in intellect, strength, and determination. Can you picture Victoria taking off her earrings and putting Vaseline on her face before the battle? 🙂
Mr. Trask is not happy about the changing hands of money. Daniel tells him that he will get his money back, but doesn’t appreciate the threat he sent. The picture of he and Emily along with the 2 bullets are thrown on his desk. Trask assures him that they don’t send bullets, they shoot them. If he wanted Emily dead, she would be. Effective immediately, they are liquidating their assets at GG. Trask warns Daniel that there is more to Aiden’s story than he knows, and tomorrow he will be his problem. Daniel steals a line from his arrogant mother and father and thanks Trask for his business he stalks out of Daniel’s office. Is it just me or does Trask remind you of Crispin Glover? Daniel is feeling his “win” and calls Emily to invite her to the ball. She clarifies that the Queen does not want her there, but Daniel doesn’t care. He wants her as his date. She agrees and presents a single black rose alone in her cottage. Charlotte is on the balcony thinking about her dead sister. The
Queen attempts to comfort her, until a bouquet of black roses are brought to her by a housekeeper. Charlotte thinks black roses are creepy and notices that it is one rose short of a dozen. Victoria tells her that it is the thought that counts, and they are just from the florist thanking them for their business. We see the card, ” I will be wearing the 12th rose.” Meanwhile, Trask is accelerating the next level with the Initiative, and as he gets into his car, Aiden is waiting, armed and prepared to shoot. Aiden wants to know where Padma is.
Conrads Town Hall meeting at the Stowaway
Connie is using every inch of his charm to woo the townies. He fields a question from dock business owner that was not on the preset-question list. It is about David Clarke. HBB and the campaign manager are in horror wondering how he is going to answer it. Nolan comes alive and plays the conversation between he and Kenny in his ear wig, which renders his PR people unable to connect to him. Jack pretends to step in, which encourages Conrad to answer on his own. He vows to reopen the case if in fact there was jury tampering. He played right into their hands. Jack is doing pretty well on his own revenge plans.
The Night of the Ball
Victoria is primping, and without even a blink, she is chastising Conrad over the David Clarke question one week before the election. He deflects by bringing to her attention the RSVP he found next to black roses in the trash. (For someone that throws around terms like working class and townies, i am surprised he even knows where the trash bin is.) But, he is not stupid, and wants to know what other skeleton she is hiding. The Queen comes clean about a past pregnancy, caused by her mother’s boyfriend, and we get another flashback of her youth. She is young and speaking in front of a door, asking if they help her take care of it no one will ever know? She leads Conrad to believe that she terminated that pregnancy. He reacts symapthetically to her story and vows to find the author of the card that has brought the Queen so much pain. Whew, the two of them–it’s like a tennis match. Or, if we were in Bravo speak, playing chess with Bobby Fisher.
Aiden still has Trask at gunpoint. Trask is leading him into the room where Padma lies dead. He tells Aiden that she got what she wanted, which was to be with her father. And her wish came true earlier this morning. Aiden is even more fierce when he learns that she perished this morning after being held for 6 weeks. Trask taunts him with talk of his sister and her love for heroin, and tells him that he has wired the lights to alert authorities. He challenges Aiden to be found with a gun over one dead body, or to pull the trigger on the gun at his head so he can be found with two. Aiden puts his gun away, and snaps his neck. “This is for Padma, my sister, and our fathers.” Sirens in the background…
At the ball, Victoria is giving her masquerade speech. She seems to enjoy always making speeches and announcements at her parties. Maybe I am just part of the 99%, but most of the parties I attend only include the host turning off the lights to bring a cake and sing happy birthday! A few words from Conrad believing they will be the next Governor and First Lady of NY, let the masquerade commence. Masks go on, and the party turns into Stanley Kubricks worst ever movie. The Queen has her eyes peeled for that 12th black rose. Unfortanately, she is distracted by Emily’s presence. The Queen makes a beeline for her and wants to know what part of “you are not invited” she didn’t understand. Daniel invited her as his date. Queen no likey. Emily struts away in victory, and finds Nolan at the bar. She thanks him for making her father’s case an election detail, and he responds that he saw a chance and took it. He hopes it’s okay. She responds that it is more than okay….The Porters arrive and Declan is ready to hit the buffet. Nolan takes the opportunity to go with him so that Em’s and Jack can talk. Emily thanks Jack for what he did for Amanda’s father’s case. He is open to her thanks, but still looks at her with contempt. Daniel has finally joined the party, thanks Jack for helping his father’s election, then whisks Emily away because they have 6 weeks to catch up on.
Conrad finds HBB at the bar, and basically throws her under the bus for the leak of the tapes HE MADE. IMHO, perhaps her PR job would be a little easier if Conrad and Victoria stopped being so evil. But what do I know? I’m a 99%er! She blames his campaign manager, he doesn’t buy it, and lets her know that after the election she is gone. How many times do the Grayson’s have to prove that she is disposable to them? HBB, come on. Find a new job! Jack has overheard the entire conversation. The Queen is still searching for #12, when she is approached by one of Daniel’s former girlfriends (of whom Victoria approves). She shows her the picture of Emily and Daniel (that Victoria commissioned) and it’s on Page Six. She does her best “I hate you smile” and leaves to confront Daniel. He hands her back her two bullets that accompanied the picture and walks away, leaving her to bask in her own demise.
Emily finds Aiden, curious about what went down with Trask. Aiden tells her that Trask is at the bottom of the East River, and that he killed his sister and Padma. Emily has one second to compose herself from this news before Nolan joins them. She asks him to take a walk outside, and he knows that Padma is gone. He held out hope for six weeks, and she is gone. He rips off his mask and darts out of the party. Emily is right behind him. His big heart is broken, and he is angry. He blames himself, Emily, and everyone else who played a part in this evil game that he dragged her into. He allows her to comfort him with a hug amid her apologies for being part of what is causing so much pain and loss in his heart. He tells her he loves her, but wants some time to himself. She doesn’t want to leave him alone, but he promises that he needs to work through this privately. She lets him walk away, and then gets that familiar stare that we know is going to cause more revenge. Charlotte is fighting her own battles with a mean girl from prep school. And she punches her–she definitely shares Emily’s DNA, because she can throw a nice right hook. The White Haired Man would certainly approve. Declan comes to save her, sends the mean girl out, and gives her a loving hug. I must say that I really love the Porters. They remind me of my hubby–even when I put my bitchy pants on, he always has my back. Hug first, talk after.
Emily finds Aiden, they discuss Nolan, then confirm they are both ready for the next step. He is not happy that her face with her faux-beau is splashed over Page Six. Daniel interrupts, and Aiden congratulates them on their reconciliation. Daniel is still arrogant, thinking he beat the Iniaitive, and tells Aiden to go get a drink because his family spared no expense. Aiden leaves, and the game is on. Takeda did a really good job of teaching his Revenge students, because they are able to hide their emotions so well.
Jack finds the Queen and congratulates her on such a good party. She has a pebble in her shoe–not happy that Charlotte hit somebody. She blames Conrad for the “blue collar” influence he is keen to embrace. So now we have townies, working class, and blue collar. I am not a fan of these terms. Nor is Jack. Conrad did well at the town hall, and Victoria states that it will be a great victory for his late wife. Jack is not having it, and clarifies that there is no victory for her–she is dead. Her reminds her that his child is being raised without a mother. As he walks away Victoria gives her I-am-such-a-bitch-but-I-don’t-understand-why-you-are-angry face. (Seriously, Madeline Stowe deserves an Emmy and Golden Globe for her role–she pulls it off perfectly.)
After Jack walks away, we get another flashback of her youth and choice. It will be permanent. Back to present day, she spies the 12th rose. He gives her a knowing look, then disappears into the crowd. The Queen chases him, grabs him by the shoulder only to find it is Aiden and not the black rose bouttenier. He asks her if she is okay, and she faints on the ballroom floor. Emily is watching, and as the guy wearing the black rose exits, they exchange a knowing look and she waits to find the results of her latest ruse.
Next Morning at Grayson Manor
Conrad, seemingly forgot that he fired HBB, is with his team going over polling results. It seems his declaration to re-open David Clarkes case gave him a bump. He wants to know who is responsible for his hiccup at the town hall meeting, and he dismisses them. Victoria has entered and he pretends that he has concern for her. But really, he is just mad that she pulled that stunt. She blames Jack, Charlotte, Daniel…He wants proof of her terminated pregnancy, because he has learned to add 2 + 2 and no longer believes it. (What kind of proof does he seek? What is she supposed to produce for him?). She agrees to do so, but when she does, she wants him to never speak of it again.
Aiden is preparing for work when Emily arrives. He is angry and doesn’t know if she spent the night comforting Nolan or “reconciling” with Daniel. She doesn’t answer the question directly, but says that she spoke to Nolan and he made it through the night okay. Aiden is mad and Emily tells him that he can’t be jealous of someone she doesn’t care about-Victoria is her target, not Daniel. He’s not jealous-he is disgusted. Emily tells him that he’s going to have to deal with it because Daniel is investigating his past. Despite his due diligence, his father’s death is something he can’t erase. And if Daniel finds the Falcon, all could be exposed. They have to find the Falcon before Daniel does. Emily gets an alert, tracking Victoria’s cell phone, and they must all go to the city.
Jack is playing with the little Carl when HBB shows up, responding to a text he sent her. He heard how Conrad spoke to her, and knows that she is out to get the same thing he is. He admits to being behind the tape, and wants her help. She doesn’t quite admit to anything, but does emplore him to know that she had know hand in what happened to Fauxmanda. He knows, because she wouldn’t be standing there if she did. Jack is definitely on the Revenge train know, and all roads lead to Grayson. He asks if she is with him or not. She is. HBB, I may just start calling you Ashley again!
Nolan is back in his office cave, and the investigator comes in. The investigator is suspicious because he and Nolan spoke in the morning, and the coroner confirmed that she passed away the same morning. And then Nolan left–where did he go? Nolan sees the “Grayson for Governer” pin, and decides to plead the fifth.
Victoria is at an undisclosed convent. She is meeting with the nun who helped her erase her past. The sister assures her that her secret is safe, even when her son came looking for her. Victoria thanks her, and leaves. A young woman in a hoodie approaches the sister right after, claiming to be pregnant and not knowing where to go. It’s Emily. Clearly searching for answers.
3/31/13 Episode of “Mob Wives” by Detox
Welcome back to “Mob Wives”!
This week, Love and Karen meet for breakfast to discuss a “Prenup Party” Karen wants to throw and to discuss Love’s hurt feelings over the fact that Ramona seems to have shut Love out when it comes to sharing any big news about her personal life. Drita interviews and hires people to work in her brand new makeup salon and store, which she gets up and running during this episode. Ramona discusses her upcoming wedding and marriage with her daughters, not all of whom approve. Carla tells Big Ang a story about Love being a “stalker” and then promptly gets served with divorce papers right afterward (It looks like Karma decided to show up right on time). Ramona meets with Renee to look at shoes in a shoe store and, while doing so, discusses the fact that she believes Karen is throwing a prenup party as a passive-aggressive way to get digs in about her upcoming wedding. Karen pays a visit to Drita’s new store to show her support, and Drita is really thankful. Renee and Big Ang visit and compare respective beauty treatments and procedures. Karen, Ramona and Love bicker at the prenup party before the guest speaker’s presentation. The women react in such a negative and hostile way to the subject of prenups that the family law attorney conducting the presentation basically gives up. Karen, Ramona and Love continue to bicker after the unsuccessful presentation. Love eventually goes ballistic on one of Ramona’s girlfriends who happens to be nearby making snide comments about how she does not like the way Love is talking to Ramona. Carla, who was not invited to Karen’s prenup party, gets together with one of her own girlfriends on that night instead. She spends a large amount of her girlfriend bonding time engaging in the productive pastime of trashing Love (which she claims she NEVER does). Drita, Renee, Karen and Big Ang meet for dinner to discuss the prenup party and Drita’s upcoming birthday party. And they all wonder if Love can be trusted to behave herself and get through the party without murdering Carla.
Now, let’s get on with the show.
Love And Karen Have Breakfast
Love and Karen meet at a diner for breakfast. While there, Karen tells Love that she wants to have a “Prenup Party.” She explains that, “Unlike a sex toy party, where they teach you how to f*ck, at a prenup party, they teach you how NOT to GET f*cked.” She interviews and says that this is good for the women because it will teach them how to protect themselves financially if they want to get married or re-married.
Love tells Karen that she does not believe in prenups, and the last man who mentioned one to her almost got beat up by her. Karen interviews that she has wanted to have this type of party, but with Ramona about to get married, she figures the timing will be perfect. Speaking of Ramona, Karen interviews that she knows Ramona will think that this prenup party is directed at HER “because in Ramona’s world, EVERYTHING is always all about her.” (Am I sensing a passive-aggressive dig there, Karen? Are you saying that Ramona is self-absorbed?).
Karen tells Love that her prenup party is not about Ramona at all, but she does think that Ramona has issues dealing with reality. She elaborates and says that she thinks Ramona has a problem hearing the truth from people.
Love tells Karen that she is hurt that Ramona no longer talks to Love about everything going on in her life, “but she tells these LOSERS that come back and tell me after the fact.” Karen tells Love that she thinks this is because Ramona does not want to hear the truth about things going on in her life. Love interviews and says there is nothing Ramona could tell her that would make her think less of Ramona. She notes that they have been friends for over 20 years, and she wants to get to the bottom of why Ramona is no longer sharing big news about Ramona’s personal life with her.
Drita Interviews Candidates To Work In Her Salon
Drita interviews and says that everything with her store is going great. She says she is proud of herself, and Lee is proud of her too. She also says that she now knows that she can take care of herself financially without the help of a man.
Drita is in her shop interviewing different candidates for positions working in her makeup store and salon. She interviews both men and women. One male candidate gives Drita his I-Pad to show her pictures of the makeup artist jobs he has performed. While reviewing these, Drita inadvertently comes across a naked picture of the guy. She interviews and says, “It’s a good idea NOT to show a picture of your d*ck during a job interview!”
When interviewing one female candidate, Drita scares the poor girl to death when she tells her that trust is VERY important to her, “because I’m married to a criminal!” Drita interviews that it is “very scary” to start your own business, and she notes that it is crucial to hire the right people to work in that business.
Ramona Discusses Her Upcoming Marriage With Her Daughters
Ramona is making brownies at home with her 3 daughters. They discuss Ramona’s upcoming wedding. Ramona interviews and says that her first wedding was “a big YAWN.”
Ramona’s daughter, Anissa, tells Ramona she is “crazy” for getting married to someone in jail (I can’t say that I disagree with Anissa). Ramona interviews and says that Anissa is “confused” (Is it Anissa that is confused…or is it YOU that is confused, Ramona? I wonder.). She also says that she is sad because Anissa’s opinion is shared by many other people in her life.
At a certain point during the brownie-making festivities, Ramona takes a call from her incarcerated fiancé, Joe. She questions him regarding whether he knows the date he will probably be let out on bail. He is very vague. She then tells him that she has everything ready so that their wedding can take place with only a moment’s notice.
Ramona interviews and says that she has tried to remain positive throughout this whole ordeal. She says that positive thinking is important in everybody’s life (I agree. I’m not so sure about delusional thinking and behavior based largely in denial, though. *Shrug*). She says she is determined to have this wedding with or without her girlfriends.
Carla Gets Served
Big Ang drops by Carla’s house to visit. Carla tells Ang that she has prepared a big, healthy salad for them. Big Ang interviews that she loves good food because she is “a fat bastard!” She says she doesn’t “do the ‘healthy thing.’”
Big Ang tells Carla that Drita’s store is now open, “and it looks great!” This allows Ang to segue into the subject of Drita’s upcoming birthday party, and she asks Carla if she will be attending.
Carla says that she will. She interviews and says that she is going despite all of her issues with the other women.
Carla then brings up Love’s name and tells Ang she has something to tell her. She says that, after Love and Carla’s present boyfriend, Derek, broke up, Love “got pissed and made friend with Derek’s ex-wife.” According to Carla, Love even visited Derek’s ex-wife at her home and informed her that Derek and Carla were now dating. Carla tells Big Ang that she finds this behavior very odd considering the fact that, at the time, Derek’s ex-wife was already remarried with kids. She interviews and screams at the camera, “WHO…DOES…THAT??!!” (I admit that this sounds very odd. If it is true, Love needs to cease that type of behavior and look into why she even engaged in it in the first place). Carla continues and tells Big Ang that Love, despite telling the ex-wife about Carla and Derek dating, failed to mention that she also dated Derek for a short time. She says that this is a sign that Love has serious issues.
Big Ang asks Carla if she heard this from Derek, noting that he would probably be a bit biased against Love. Carla says she actually heard it directly from Derek’s ex-wife. Big Ang interviews and says that “this is the behavior of a stalker and a crazy person!” (And I agree. It’s funny that, in the beginning of the season, Love told Drita that Carla’s boyfriend stalked HER when she ended their relationship. I wonder who is really telling the truth here.). Big Ang tells Carla that, if this is true, then “It’s like a fatal attraction.”
While they are talking, someone knocks on Carla’s door. When she opens the door, she is served with her divorce papers. Big Ang interviews and says that she could not believe it.
Carla quickly looks over the divorce papers and tells Ang that she knew these were coming. She then says that she is in a good space and ready to move on. She interviews and says that, despite their disagreements at times, she and Joe have a good relationship and will always have each other’s backs even after their divorce is finalized. She also says that she is in a good relationship, and her life is good. Big Ang interviews and says that she is happy for Carla because Carla is in a good place and ready to close a chapter of her life with the divorce and move on.
Renee and Ramona Check Out The Shoe Competition
Renee and Ramona meet to look at the shoes in a shoe store so that Renee can “check out the competition.” While they are browsing, Ramona asks Renee if she got the invitation to Karen’s “Prenup Party.” Renee says that she did get an invitation, and she will be attending.
Ramona confides in Renee that she wonders if Karen is having this party as a way to give her a “dig” because she is marrying Joe even though he is looking at possibly serving a substantial amount of time in prison.
Renee tells Ramona that she does not think that Karen is having the party as a way of getting a dig in on Ramona. She interviews and says that she understands why Ramona feels this way because if she were in Ramona’s position, she would probably feel the same way too. However, she honestly does not think that Karen is truly having that party to send Ramona some kind of backhanded message about her upcoming marriage. She notes that, because she gets defensive about everything even when she should NOT, she understands Ramona being defensive about her decision to marry Joe and to think that people are targeting her with direct or indirect criticism even when they may not be doing so.
Ramona tells Renee that, despite her misgivings and suspicions about Karen’s motives, she is going to attend Karen’s party “and take it with a grain of salt.”
Karen Supports Drita’s New Store
Drita’s store is up and running with newly-hired workers and clients. She is shown overseeing everything and running around the store busily. She interviews and says, “Now is my f*ckin’ time to shine!” (Go, Drita!).
Karen make a surprise visit to the store. She interviews that it is great to see Drita moving on with her life and living her dream. She also says that she is glad that many of the other women, including Drita, are building businesses that they can pass on to their own children.
After Karen greets Drita, she tells her that she is very proud of her. Drita interviews and says that it was really nice of Karen to show up and show her support. Karen then invites Drita to her prenup party. Drita tells her that the party sounds like a great idea. She interviews and says that none of them needed a prenup in the past because they were in “the lifestyle,” but since they are no longer in that type of life, educating themselves about prenups is probably a good idea.
The segment ends with Drita giving Karen a big hug and thanking her for coming (I have to say that I love seeing these two getting along. Drita seems so much calmer and happier this season. It is such a good look for her).
Renee And Ang Compare Procedures
Renee pays Big Ang a visit at her home. Shortly after Renee arrives, she and Big Ang discuss the recent beauty treatments and procedures they have had and examine each other’s results. Renee says that she recently got her lips “done” and had Botox injections. Ang says she got injections, filler and a “liquid facelift.”
Renee then changes the subject and tells Ang that her son A.J. got another tattoo. She says that he is working on getting his arm “sleeved up” with tattoos, and she is not happy about it.
Big Ang says that her A.J. has been in rehab for the past 7 months, but he is going to be released in a few more months. She says she is doing really well (I love both Big Ang and Renee…but why the hell was this scene even in the episode??!! I don’t get it.).
The Prenup Party
Karen is having her prenup party at some place called “Chelsea Manor.” Big Ang interviews and says that that she never had a prenup “because I’m the one that spends ALL the money!” Karen interviews that she is going to support Ramona and be behind her 100% when it comes to her upcoming wedding and marriage even though she does have some misgivings about it.
Ramona arrives at the party with a few unknown women. She interviews that she has invited some friends to the party “for a little distraction” because she actually does not want to be there.
At a certain point, Karen, Ramona and Love are in a certain area of the party standing together. Karen and Ramona start bickering. They momentarily stop bickering when Love asks Ramona why she has to hear Ramona’s personal business from other people instead of hearing it directly from Ramona.
Ramona tells Love that it is nothing personal. It’s just that she has been so busy trying to handle her own life and her own business that she has not had time to contact everyone about things going on in her life. Love responds that she cannot understand why Ramona takes the time to tell her personal business to people that have not even been friends with her that long when she cannot even take the time to discuss this with someone like her, who has been friends with Ramona for over 20 years.
Ramona basically has no real answer for Love, and she is rendered momentarily speechless. She interviews that she does not care if Love is upset. As far as she is concerned, when Love heard from someone else that she was engaged, instead of getting upset, she should have called Ramona up herself and congratulated her and even bought her a gift (Ramona, you sound like an a*shole!).
Renee arrives and walks up to the bickering group. She interviews that she walked into tension. Karen interviews that Love is mad at Ramona, and Ramona is mad at her (Karen). She says, “I just wanted to have a party.”
Eventually, all of the women at the party move to a meeting room to hear a Family Law attorney by the name of Vicky give a speech about prenups.
At a certain point early on in the presentation, Renee raises her hands, interrupts and starts talking in a hostile way about prenups, noting that she grew up in a lifestyle where prenups would just not have been practical (because they paid for everything in cash because they did not handle their business in ways that left paper trails, etc.). She interviews and says that there was NO divorce in “the lifestyle.” Also, everything was ALL CASH. “So, we didn’t do ‘nups’!”
Other women join in with Renee and speak in a way that indicates that they are also hostile and close-minded when it comes to the idea of prenups. Karen interviews and says that her friends’ hostility “has probably scared Vicky to death!” She notes that, “All these bitches had to do was just LISTEN!!”
Carla, Who NEVER Talks Trash About Love….
Talks Trash About Love
Carla is at a bar with her friend Etty. She interviews and says that Etty is one of her best friends with whom she grew up in Brooklyn. She also says she is happy to stay away from the prenup party and do her own thing.
Carla tells Etty about the prenup party to which she was not invited. She interviews and says she is glad she was not invited because, “with that group of women, it can go from a party to a brawl!” (This is true.).
Carla tells Etty that she does not play the game of fighting, not speaking, making up, fighting and then not speaking again. She then gives Etty her own “rundown” of a few other cast members. She calls Ramona and Karen “Hekyll and Jekyll” and says that they always get involved when someone else has a problem with her “even though it’s none of their business.” She say that “Love is the trashiest of them all! She’s a storytelling, lying WITCH!!” She interviews and says that she sees right through Love’s B.S.
Carla then brings up the fact that she does have some discomfort about attending Drita’s upcoming birthday party because the other women are also going to also be there. She interviews and says that Love is one day going to get all caught up in her “web of lies.”
The segment ends with Carla telling her friend that Love is “a psychopath with mental problems!” (And Carla said all of this about Love because she does NOT talk trash about her…ever. [Insert sarcasm here.]).
Love Has A Meltdown
Meanwhile, back at the prenup party, Drita finally arrives very late. She interviews and says that she is sorry she was so late because she really wanted to hear what the attorney had to say and learn something about prenups (Don’t worry, Drita. You did not miss a thing. Your friends were so hostile to the poor woman that she did not even really get a chance to teach them anything about prenups.).
The party attendees have basically now taken to mixing and mingling around the venue. Love pulls Ramona aside, and she asks her if they have issues about which she is unaware. She tells Ramona that she does not know exactly what is going on with Ramona, but her feelings are very hurt that Ramona seems to have shut her out.
Ramona interviews and says that “Love decided to grill me like a STEAK!” She tells Love that the circumstances for her wedding are not exactly ideal, and she has not been getting very much support from many of her friends and family members with regard to decision to marry Joe despite his incarceration and despite the possibility of him serving a significant amount of prison time. She explains that this is why she has not really been forthcoming with some of her friends.
Love tells Ramona that she does not judge her decision to get married. Love saying this seems to allow Ramona to lower her defenses a bit and to begin to confide in Love. She admits to Love that she is truly torn when it comes to this wedding (Then, don’t do it until you are sure, Ramona. When in DOUBT….DON’T!!). She then tells Love that it bothers her that she cannot call Karen and talk to her about the wedding, knowing that Karen was so judgmental and unsupportive when she first told her about it. She then starts bitching about Karen. She interviews that her relationship with Karen is strained enough, and she does not want to add to it by discussing the wedding with her.
At this point, Karen overhears Ramona bitching about her, and she walks up to Ramona and Love and interrupts their conversation. She loudly tells Ramona that Ramona is working “on her LAST nerve.” The two of them then start loudly arguing. Ramona interviews and says that she wishes everyone would just be supportive and accept her decision.
Karen then pulls Love into the argument and loudly tells Ramona to tell Love what she said about her behind her back (That was a disloyal, manipulative, nasty and totally unnecessary move, Karen!!). She says, “Tell her that you said you didn’t give a f*ck that Love was mad that you did not tell her you were getting married!!”
Ramona looks a little taken aback when Karen yells this (So does Love, by the way).
Love then starts peppering Ramona with questions about different personal things about Ramona that she has had to hear from people off the street instead of straight from Ramona, with whom she has been friends for over 20 years.
One of Ramona’s girlfriends notices that Love is speaking to Ramona in what looks to her to be a hostile way. So, she starts loudly making disapproving and nasty comments in Love’s direction. Renee, Big Ang and Drita all basically interview that they could not believe that this woman was basically getting involved in a conversation that was none of her business and making nasty and “snippy” comments in Love’s direction.
Love, in the midst of her discussion with Ramona and Karen, happens to overhear Ramona’s girlfriend’s comments. Almost out of what seems like nowhere, Love immediately turns her attention to the woman and starts screaming like a banshee at her as she approaches the woman in a hostile way before being held back by Drita, Renee and Karen. At the top of her lungs, as she is walking toward the woman before being held back, Love screams “Walk the f*ck away!! Mind your business and walk the f*ck away!!” (over and over). Big Ang interviews and says that “Love is outta her f*ckin’ mind!!” Renee interviews that Love “is a loose cannon flipping out!!”
Finally, Karen gets Love to calm down by telling her that she misinterpreted Ramona’s girlfriend’s comments. She also explains to Love that Ramona’s girlfriend is a very nice person who was simply being protective of Ramona out of loyalty. Ramona interviews and says, “Enough!! Grow up!!” Big Ang interviews and says that the “stalker story” Carla told her about Love and this particular incident are coloring her opinion of Love in a negative way. She says, “Now, I’m seeing the ‘CRAZY Love’ let loose!!”
“How Are We Going To Handle Drita’s Birthday Party?”
Drita, Karen, Renee and Big Ang all meet for dinner. Drita wonders what happened at the prenup party to make Love go so ballistic. The other women wonder the same thing.
Drita then changes the subject and brings up her upcoming birthday party. She tells the women that they have to dress up in clothing from the late ‘80’s and early ‘90’s.
As she says this, old pictures of the women from this time period are shown on the screen. Renee interviews and says that she was “THAT bitch” during that time period. Pictures appear on the screen of Renee looking like a tough-looking “Guidette” with lots of makeup and big hair. Karen says she was super-preppy — at least as far as her clothing was concerned — during that time period. Pictures appear on the screen of Karen in her preppy “Huxtable/Cosby” sweaters and khakis. Drita says she was a “nerd” who also chose to dress very preppy. Pictures appear on the screen of a much-younger, more innocent looking, baby-faced Drita. Karen says Ramona had huge bangs that she made stand up straight for several inches above her head with tons of hairspray. A picture of a much younger Ramona with “super-bangs” appears onscreen.
After they reminisce and laugh about the way they looked during this time period, Renee changes the subject and brings up the fact that Carla will be at Drita’s birthday party.
Drita asks Renee if this will be a problem for her. Renee calmly says that it will NOT be a problem for her because, at this point, she is “so OVER it.” She interviews and says that she is “done with this whole f*ckin’ argument!” Drita looks relieved to hear this.
The women then start to discuss the serious issues Love is having with Carla and the fact that Love and Carla are finally going to be in the same room together without any of these issues being resolved. Drita tells the women that she has tried to warn Carla and to encourage her to settle things with Love but “Carla is NOT tryin’ to f*ckin’ hear it!!” She also says that if Love brings up Carla’s boyfriend, Derek, “Carla will go NUTS and get very NASTY!!”
Renee says that Carla has a habit of continuing to talk sh*t even though the person she is insulting and offending is much bigger and stronger than she is. Drita interviews and says that she realizes that “there is no way in f*ckin’ hell that I’m going to let Love attack Carla!”
I’m Leavin’ On A Jet Plane
A.J. walks into Renee’s house and tells her that he needs to talk to her about something. Renee interviews and says that things have been better than ever between her and A.J. She says that they have been spending much more quality time together and really bonding since she has returned from rehab.
Once they are settled, A.J. tells Renee that he wants to move forward in his life. He interviews and says that he feels like he needs to make major moves in his life. He continues and tells Renee that because she is doing so well since she has returned from rehab, he now feels like it is time for him to focus on doing his own thing and moving forward with his own life. He further explains that one of his best friends has just been picked for a hockey team based out of Florida, and he is going to follow his friend to Florida and get a job there.
Renee initially looks stunned and like she does not quite understand what A.J. is telling her. A.J. breaks it down and bluntly says, “I’m moving OUT.”
Renee finally gets it and then starts loudly saying, “No! No! You’re not going anywhere.” She interviews and says the same thing: “He ain’t f*ckin’ goin’ NOWHERE!!” Renee adamantly continues to insist that A.J. is NOT moving, and he is definitely not moving out of state.
A.J. continues to counter that he IS, and there is nothing Renee can do about it.
Finally realizing that this is a battle she will not win, Renee starts crying. A.J. gets her to calm down. Once she has calmed down and accepted the fact that A.J. is moving whether she likes it or not, Renee asks A.J. when he will be making this move. He tells her that he will be gone in about 6 weeks.
Renee tells A.J. that he is leaving her behind. She then asks him if he would move if his father also forbade him to do so. He tells her that he would. In short, he is moving regardless of whether his mother and/or father agree or disagree with his decision.
Renee tells A.J. she’s not ready for him to leave. A.J. says, “I’m going. End of story. That’s IT!”
Renee finally throws her hands up and says, “I guess I have no choice.” The two of them end the discussion by giving each other another bear hug.
- The season finale is finally here.
- Drita asks Lee where his head is at.
- Ramona tries on wedding dresses.
- At a party (probably Drita’s birthday party), Karen pulls Carla away from a group of people and brings her to talk to Love.
- Love and Carla speak. Love tells Carla to look at something on Love’s phone. While Carla is taking a look, Love sucker punches her, and all hell breaks loose.
See you guys next week!
