NeNe Read Brandi on WWHL and now It’s on like DonkeyKong by NMD

Ask NeNe Leakes her opinion and she’s going to give it to you.  Asked about meeting Brandi Glanville at the Bravo upfronts last month, NeNe said, “she was a train wreck, a wreck, a wreck,” and then said she thought Brandi was better when she wasn’t drinking.

Brandi’s response:@BravoAndy Its a little scary wen peeps start 2 believe their own hype &drink their own Kool-Aid taking responsibility 4 every1’s success :/” responding not to the comments about her actions at the upfronts, but to NeNe’s discussion that the ladies who started each franchise MADE the shows and the others that come along behind them should respect that.  It was mainly directed at the Teresa – Melissa situation, but I suppose Brandi might think it has something to do with her relationship with Kyle or Adrienne as well.  Brandi did admit she as a hot mess, just not a train wreck.  “hot mess yes! #drinkingandtweeting train wreck no. I take care of 2 perfect little men so no more wrecks here.”  Semantics?

Top 10 Signs You Might be Dating Jodi Arias

By Stars99

Your girlfriend starts every telephone conversation by saying, “Testing 1-2-3.”

Your doggie door has your girlfriend’s hip hugger jeans stuck in it.

You find 3 empty gas cans in your garage along with their corresponding Wal-Mart receipts, yet you don’t even own a car.

Whenever anyone sings the song, “O Holy Night” it sounds eerily creepy to you.

You find a “Deleting Digital Pictures for Dummies” book in your girlfriend’s suitcase.

The top shelves in your closet are remarkably clean and sparkly.

Every mirror in your house starts to get tarnished from overuse by her.

You find an empty box of “Preference by Loreal’s ‘Bombshell Brunette’ Because You’re Worth It” in your bathroom’s trashcan.

She buys you a new set of Ginsu knives for no apparent reason.

And the Number 1 Sign You Might be Dating Jodi Arias:  You find you have to shave off all your body hair so it stops standing on end every time your girlfriend’s around.

***Disclaimer***  Please note that the author has been watching the Jodi Arias trial and believes that Jodi Arias should be found guilty of 1st Degree Murder and should never be free again.  Admittedly, the writer frequently uses comedy as a coping mechanism when confronted with tough, scary, horrific or awkward situations and means absolutely no offense.

After much hand wringing and gnashing of teeth, I’ve decided I will host a recap of Jersey and the Jersey blogs on this blog.  MTH has offered to do the recap and Starrs the blogs.  These people (not MTH and Starrs) are on the crazy train but they’ve been part of the Lynnfam for a while.  I will reserve the right to change my mind if things get ugly here, but let’s all just remember that it’s a show and if they didn’t like the attention they would have walked away so please don’t be offended when people here express strong opinions of the antics they watch on-screen – even if you don’t share the opinion.  The thing about opinions is we all have them.

Speaking of crazy train, what is up with Richie Wakile and his attacks on women? This weekend it was young blogger AllAboutTruth.  I believe she’s around 20 or 21 – around his daughter’s age – my daughter’s age – yet he thought it appropriate to go after her on twitter.  She handled it extraordinarily well; she’s a class act, coming back with retorts such as: @richardwakile you keep going. You’re making absolutely no sense in any of your tweets. And you seem’s getting awkward.”  “I don’t think housewives/ husbands realize they will be nothing once this show ends ..just think about it”  “Honestly I’m excited to officially call out @richardwakile on his stupidity this season as well as @kathywakile for being with a coward :)”

Richie deletes his tweets as fast as he writes them, but he did write: “I had so much fun calling out the real truth on twitter today! Good night to all!”  And by calling her out he means he told the world that her father worked in a grocery store and that she was a desperate chick from Michigan.

AllAboutTruth explained on her personal twitter account, “he’s mad I call him out on his stuff. Has he forgotten his wife and I have spoke about me being nicer?”  LOL I’d have loved to have heard that call.

And then on the other side of crazy, I posted a link in yesterday’s comments to FauxReality’s blog about an interview with an ex-Marcosister’s fan talking about how awful Melissa and her sisters are.  Hours later, the twitter account run by the fan was active again (after being quiet for months) and announced that the interview was fabricated and bogus.  FauxReality snapped back saying the twitter account has been handed over (presumably to the Marco sisters) and she has the whole thing downloaded.  #stalemate.  The whole thing is confusing and amusing at the same time.   Ed from TVFishBowl documented the whole thing here on Storify.  We’ve decided there must be something in the water in North Jersey.

  1. Powell says:

Good morning everyone. It’s cool & rainy. Spring keeps punking us. It just won’t come out and stay. 😦

It’s verdict watch for Jodi Arias starting 12pm est. I don’t know if I want a quick verdict or not. We shall see.

Why didn’t I know Brandi would respond to what NeNe said. Girl can’t help it. Sometimes silence is golden.

Well you have a great day.

  2. Orson says:

Stars isn’t on the crazy train? When did this happen?

    • Stars99 says:

Get on board, Orson – We’re expecting you! Woo Woo! Chugga chugga chugga chugga…

        • TexasTart says:

AH HA! Now this is what I think about when I think of Crazy Train!!! 😛
Thanks Rebecca. This is a not so great live version, but is kinda funny because people rush the stage while he’s singing the song and try to bring Ozzy down. LOL.

    • jezzibel says:

she’s not on the train she’s driving it 😀

      • Stars99 says:

Completely falls on the floor and laffs hysterically…

        • Hey Mouse…I’ll jump on that train! LOL! In fact, I am likely the caboose! 😆

          • Stars99 says:

The caboose has always been my favorite car on a train. Back in college we used to have a cheer we’d chant at sporting events: “How funky is your chicken? How loose is your goose? C’mon all you Eagle fans… Get up and shake your caboose!” At the end everyone gets up and shakes their dupa all over the place… I dunno… I thought about it when I read your post and it made me laff… lol

            • OMG….LMAO!!!!!!! Just 😆 😆 😆 This is what I needed to get me going this morning! I will be singing this in my head all day! Thanks Star99 (yes, that was affectionate sarcasm!) 😆

            • LaineyLainey says:

We used to say “Beer is good, sex is fine, Seniors, Seniors, 79!” And then we wondered why the Principal turned red every time we shouted out that chant. And then I grew up!!

oh and the caboose cheer was something we did, as well.

              • Powell says:

Ohhhh. Back in the day. 🙂

              • Cathy Connor says:

Lainey doll you graduated in 79 ? Me too woo hooo was good times right !!

                • LaineyLainey says:

yAY!!! heh heh heh…yeah…did you guys love The Cars? Peter Frampton? Journey? Boston? oh and I believe that’s when “I will survive was popular”.. but don’t get the board started on THAT ONE!!! lol

                  • cocfarm says:

At first I was afraid, I was petrified…

                    • LaineyLainey says:

Kept thinking, I could never live without you by my side But then I spent so many nights thinking, how you did me wrong And I grew strong and I learned how to get along

(I just couldn’t drop it, cocfarm!!)

                    • cocfarm says:

You sing it well Lainey squared! Love that tune.

                    • TexasTart says:

DANG! I keep missing the sing-a-longs!
Hey Lainey, listened to them all, but can not ever get too much of The Cars! 😀

            • Powell says:

I’m picturing it. I see you shakin your caboose Stars. 🙂

            • TexasTart says:

          • Powell says:

MarDrag I knew you were going to say that. LOL.

      • Kansas Girl says:

But is she licensed to drive???

  3. jezzibel says:

Those that live in glass houses…should not walk around nekked without first drawing the blinds. *cough* Nene.

  4. TexasTart says:

Good Morning! Hmm, looks like some bloggers stepped up and volunteered?! Very interesting. I hope everyone achieves a goal or finds something special to shout about this week! 😀

  5. Contessa says:

First of all to NMD – thank you for sticking with the Jersey Crazies and with us. MTH -you are a prince among men for doing this and I am soooooooooo looking forward to your report. Stars, your’s are hilarious and I love love love them. Anyone of us who misbehaves or gets carried away by emotion needs to count to 10 or get sent to time out – LOL.

    • Stars99 says:

Dies laffin @ “Get sent to time out”…

    • melthehound says:

      😀 .

    • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

Thank God for people who volunteer. And when they are interesting writers it’s even better. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself without this blog. I might be forced to do some work or something. Horrors.

Update on my ankle. I had an x-ray which showed nothing. An MRI showed a fracture and I’m getting a cam boot tomorrow. All I can say is I would have saved 5 weeks of misery if I had just gone to the ER in the first place. Ugh.

      • LaineyLainey says:

sorry about your ankle just wondering. Agree with you, what would I do without the Lynnfam blog? I might be a much more productive human being. But that’s no fun… gotta go,…at work…buh bye!

      • Powell says:

Ugh! I’m sorry you’ve been enduring pain for that long. Ouch. I hope you don’t have to wear the boot for too long. Take it easy.

      • Kansas Girl says:

A cam boot is one with a camera, right? So we can see where you’ve been!

        • chismosa says:

          That’s funny 😋

Hope you feel better soon JWIJ
Don’t “wander in jersey” too far with that boot

          • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

Thanks Chismosa. I have to tell you, I thought things were getting better but since I got an actual diagnosis I’m convinced it’s starting to hurt more. Purely psychological! One good thing, I’ve already gotten thru 5 weeks so it should be quick right? I’m going to tell myself that anyway.

        • Just Wondering in Jersey says:

You’d be awfully bored watching me LOL. I’ll tell you where I will be: dining room where my computer is, living room where the TV is and the porch if it’s nice out. Like I said, boring 🙂

  6. If anybody watches Game of Thrones – the blog I write for – we did a video recap of last nights episode.

  7. T-Rex says:

UGH! I haven’t watched HotMessAtlanta for some time, I have disliked NeNe since the beginning of the show, again she works hard, but she is just SO unlikeable to me. Well, be careful in what you say dahling, because it may come back to haunt you! She to me is so PHONEY and FAKE and she sounds as if she is acting on the Reality show just like she is in that other program the New Normal, which by the way is probably not going to make it a second season. Look she divorced her husband quietly and quickly when his business ventures(pyramid schemes “allegedly”), were tanking to protect her income from the show and other businesses, only to parlay a spin-off(which I totally think she wanted all along) of her re-kindling her romance with Gregg(which is a farce since they didn’t really break up, only on paper). I was going to watch NY again this year, but I don’t know any longer if I will, and probably not going to watch Beverly Hills either, although I do like these two franchises. I just can’t stand the manipulation of time lines(although it makes it fun to come here on the blog and bust the timing), vacations timing, alliances, etc. and everyone is just faking it to make themselves more relevant. It’s not Reality any longer that’s for sure.

    • Powell says:

T-Rec it seems like the HWs stopped being reality S3 OC. I think Bravo had the timeline manipulations down by then & there was no hope for the remaining franchises. The blog does make it interesting though.

    • chismosa says:

So agree on time manipulations and I like you, love busting Dandy on his machinations. I wonder if anyone who tweets from among here ever call him out on the busted, lame timelines?

Just want to point out NBC cancels about 80-90% of their original programming. They are dwindling in ratings and are in a free fall so they never have their $hit together. If New Normal was on another station no doubt it would have had the power to stand for a second season the very least

  8. disgrazia4 says:

Good morning everyone and Happy Spring! NMD, what can I say but that I feel your trepidation and raise you 2. I sincerely hope everyone can put their thin skin armor on as folks tend to get emotionally involved when it comes to that Jersey crew. No exceptions, myself included. As the Don would say, “Buckle up kids, we’re in for a bumpy ride. We cannot allow these gavons to shred through our community!! Yikes!! My love to you all! Peace. ❤

    • rabblerouser2010R says:

      Hi sweetheart.

    • I promise to not get emotional about JerseyTrainWrecks this season. Because I just don’t give a rats a$$ about these franchises anymore. In fact I refuse to watch them when they air the new episode. I go watch later. Not giving Dandy Andy his coveted ratings.
I’ll laugh at Stars and MTH because they are funnier than the dumb housewives.

  9. AZGirl says:

Thank you NMD, MTH and Stars. Love the Top 10! Hopefully today will be the end of the JA circus.

    • Stars99 says:

Thanks, AZ – I really hope the verdict comes in swiftly so you guys can start getting back to normal.

      • rabblerouser2010R says:

I hope today will be the end of the circus too. Stars99, you really do have the making of a comedian; on top of being funny your aren’t afraid to joke about things that are “taboo”. IMO the jokes about JA didn’t diminish the victim in anyway but basically said what almost everyone knows….that JA is an fn psycho.

        • Stars99 says:

Lol… thanks RR… I really appreciate you saying that – because I know that I may have danced on the line… but really, Jodi’s brand of psychoness is just so ludicrous to me. It could have been much worse – I almost wrote a list about how the housewives are like Jodi Arias… but thankfully, I came to my senses… lol

  10. plainviewsue says:

Hey all. NMD, the blogger who was ATTACKED by that slimeball Richie is All About TRH, not All about the Truth. She took care of him very nicely on twitter & he was slammed by many tweeters. People tweeted Kathy about the tweets as well.

MTH & Starz. Thanks so much for agreeing to blog and recap RHONJ. You are both such excellent writers & I look forward to your recaps!!!

    • Stars99 says:

Thanks for your vote of confidence – and also thanks so much for sharing your pictures the other day – I saw them too late to comment on it. You are a rock star – and everyone should roll out the red carpet whenever you come around! = )

      • Lisa Renee says:

Stars, you and MTH are really taking one for the team! I got your back’s lol. BTW that piece about JA is the most twisted, sickest & funniest post. My favorite combination 🙂 Lisa

      • LaineyLainey says:

ooooh, I can’t wait to read your funny NJ blogs. thanks to both of you MTH and Stars99

      • plainviewsue says:

No Stars, YOU are the rock star!!! Your recaps are perfection!!!!!! Honestly, you don’t have to watch the episode. You describe it to a tee, warts & all.

  11. HuskerHuny says:

Happy Monday to all! It’s going to be spring here – finally – all week. Temps in the 70s but it looks like it’s going to be a rainy week. After last year’s drought, it’s much welcomed, but I wish it could be spread out more, especially in July and August when the crops need it the most.

Hated that Amazing Race and Celebrity Apprentice overlapped last night. But my hockey brothers finished strong and won which made me happy. Apprentice is finishing up pretty much like I though it would. I thought Mary Lou Henner would be a dark horse, but she really didn’t get it last night and thereby it was correct that she was sent home. Penn is going to be a force to be reckoned with. He and Lisa are a great team. I hope it’s them in the finals. That would be very interesting and fun to watch. Did you catch LuAnn? How D list can you get Mary Lou?

Saw about four minutes of Nene’s interview on Bravo. I still don’t like her. She’s mean and nasty but she calls it being real and honest. I won’t watch her fake wedding either. It’s amazing to me just how much I have stopped watching Bravo in the past few months. I guess I no longer fit their demographic. That’s O.K. by me!

Let’s all have a great week. I’ve put in my request for a Mother’s Day present to my youngest. I even offered to pay for it! This should be interesting to see what he comes up with.

    • melthehound says:

I saw celebrity apprentice this morning… Royalty… Countless? …… AhhhhhhHahaahaahaaaaaaaaaaa 😆 Could have at least gone for the princess if she wanted to use one of the HWs. I don’t know why it took John Rich (one of the spies) to come up with the idea of using Little John’s “King of krunk” for the entertainment in the king themed suite. Chess? In a sport stadium suite? Really? She blew it with Trace when she called him Gary (as a dig). The person who should have gone home last night, Did. She had a pretty bitter exit too talking smack about her team mates. I didn’t think I would but I’m liking Lisa in this game too. Penn has always been a strong player and they seem to work great together. It would be interesting to see the two of them face off. Don’t count Little John out though especially when it comes to the party and production stuff.

Amazing Race? I’ll have the recap for you all tomorrow, I didn’t get to watch it until this morning.. My favorite didn’t win but the ones I did Not want to win, didn’t either.

      • Lisa Renee says:

Jeff, when Countless walked in I laughed as hard as you did. I think Lisa has the most infectious laugh & am digging her more than I thought I would. She can laugh at herself and her wit with Penn’s last week about Gary Busey had me roaring along with them. Not letting Lil John take the lead for entertainment was a huge blunder that resulted in a chess board and left me scratching my head too. Marilou and her ability to recall the day of the week trick is impressive, but serves no purpose in real life. She was a bitter little Betty, she needs to build a bridge and get over herself. Am I really spending verdict watch with Jane, tooooorrrrttttuuuurrrreeee! Lisa

        • melthehound says:

I don’t know if anyone else noticed but I swear I saw that chess ‘board’ curl at the edge. A printout rather than an actual chess board. Low budget all the way for the King’s suite.

          • Lisa Renee says:

I didn’t catch it, what a joke! I’m still chuckling over the 300 pound mirror with Trace & Lil John dragging it all over the room, until Trace put his foot down and said it’s staying here. At little more to the left, my ass. Both guys were very PC with her, I thought Trace was going to blow, Lisa

            • chismosa says:

I took it differently I guess, like I didn’t understand why the big HUGE music stars on her team didnt want to help her

Trace is a total curmudgeon, bordering on bored and lazy

Penn was completely instrumental in helping Lisa in getting anyone
              Scratching my head

              • melthehound says:

I don’t think it’s that they didn’t want to help her.. She didn’t seem to be able to focus on multiple things. She was more concerned about the decorations and to expect them to figure things out without direction, turned into her undoing. Lisa may have been completely lost without Penn. If they have to go head to head at anything, I’m sure he will destroy her in the challenge. I think he arranged everything in that set up.

                • chismosa says:

just saw this now MTH/ i agree completely on the Lisa front. Penn for the win for this whole damn thing for sure.

  12. Good Morning! Cloudy and cool here today with a chance of drizzles. Yeah! For us, this is good. Sorry for those of you not getting the Spring you want yet!

I wasn’t feeling well over the weekend so laid low….but read the blog. NMD….I feel you and understand your hesitation and desire not to get caught in the fray that is NJ. What you do caring for this blog is nothing short of amazing. That you need to care for yourself too…is a given and I am glad you considered that. I can’t watch NJ and usually stay away from the blog the day after it airs…but now you have gone and done it and got 2 absolutely stellar peeps to recap!! With MTH and Stars99, it is a must read…so I will give it a go (but not watch the show).

Having said that….this blog has evolved into a very special place…and I have seen people here have disagreements where passions arose….and then, in true Lynnfam form…..circled around to “agree to disagree”, with a nod to opinions and cyber handshakes and hugs. It is a wonderful thing to see that….and I believe, have faith in, and trust everyone here to keep that pattern going through NJ and remember this is just a show with people acting out nonsense and we don’t have to be a part of it…just observe it if we choose, and then let it go. It has no real impact on our own lives unless we allow it to.

You are all special and amazing, loving, caring people….I know we will be ok!! 😉

    Have a fantastic Monday!

New post, “Monday Light”, is up at my place. It is not much today as I haven’t felt well…but it will start your day with a smile at least! Enjoy!

    • Lulu says:

Sorry to hear you weren’t feeling well 😦 Hope you feel better soon!!

I’ll never understand this logic: Public forum, opinions expresses, someone takes offense up in arms about the blog needing to be taken down. I can understand it if what the person wrote was off the wall offensive. But it pertains to a show nothing more. I don’t always agree with comments on this board. I just don’t join in the discussion that’s all.

Unless RHONJ is on demand I doubt I will be watching much of it. So I will be relying on this board to for the recaps. I don’t think I’ll have much time with a newborn and an very active 2.5YO! It’s funny how much drama the show has caused on this board already. It’s not debuting till June!!

    • Powell says:

Are you feeling better today? I hope so. 🙂

  13. rabblerouser2010R says:

Hi all, I thought I would share something I posted on twitter about a conversation I had with my 4 year old.

HER: When I grow up, I want to be a Doctor.
    ME: Great, what kind?
    HER: A purple one

  14. rabblerouser2010R says:

I fell asleep part way through the NeNe interview.

I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand it seems like NeNe really believes her own hype, when she was talking to Andy ,it came across as she imagined that she was being featured on Inside the Actors Studio; and it reminded me of JIll Zarin’s pathetic attempt to be on the show.

But I do believe her when she said Brandi was a wreck that night. It seems like Brandi is trying to use motherhood as a shield, but in reality the upfronts were in NYC and her kids weren’t around. I also remember with the exception of Kim, Yolanda and Lisa….the rest of them were pretty shitty drunk at the women’s retreat (although Taylor was by far the worst)

I also heard about the remark she made in regards to NJ…and it made me laugh.

    • Powell says:

What did she say? “I think you should get a new cast” or whatever she said. That was hilarious. 🙂

      • rabblerouser2010R says:

Yes, something like that and I loved it…since I feel the same way.

        • rabblerouser2010R says:

Sorry. just to be clear..from what I remember she thought OC needed to be recast.

As far as NJ, I think she said the new comers need to take a seat (on the Teresa show) or something to that effect.

  15. Birdwoman says:

How about posting a reminder on NJ Blogs about respecting other people’s opinion? People tend to get passionate and might need a reminder every week to keep it nice! 🙂

Personally, the whole Teresa vs. her brother’s family is getting old and sad.

I actually fine the Manzos and Lauritas more annoying now.

  16. not THAT Jill says:

Starzy-your Top10 is as twisted as you are-exactly what I need on Monday morning!! Keep dancing on that line-it’s the perfect spot for you!! (And I would love to see that “how The HWs are like Jodi list!!) I can’t wait to read your blog recaps and Jeff’s NJ blog-I think the 2 of you are the best candidates to take NJ on!!!

I loved NeNe on WWHL Last night and not just b/c she called Brandi a train wreck. I think she is funny as hell-I also think she believes her own hype like most of these Bravolebrites do. They all think they are special and they all think they are the star of their own show-but NeNe is ALT-with out her it wouldn’t be the same-she knows it and so does Andy. Brandi was tweeting up a storm saying she doesn’t care what NeNe thinks of her…but she does-her TL proves it. But she has her fans going crazy and protecting her so I’m sure she will be get over it. I can’t understand how these people on twitter really think its their job to tweet nasty things to people who talk about their fave HW-they seriously get into full blown twitter wars over women they never met and likely never will-it’s bizarre-to say the least.

RR-purple Doctor-such ambition!!! I love a girl who knows what she wants!!!

    • Stars99 says:

Jill – the REAL Jill… I’m so laffin’ at the “twisted” comment… My mind started thinking about other things that are twisted so I can figure out if this is a good thing or not: Pretzels are twisted – I like pretzels; Twisted Sister – While I’m not that much into their music, I did like Dee Snyder on Celebrity Apprentice; Sometimes my underthings get twisted in a wad when I get cranky about something – and that’s not necessarily a bad thing; I like twisty ties that you use to close the plastic bags for produce; I like to do the twist; I like to twist and shout… okay, so this might be a good thing after all… lol

      • not THAT Jill says:

I love to twist and shout…I don’t like the twisty ties. I love pretzels but they make me thirsty. I have never experienced twisted underthings and for that I am grateful. Stay twisted Starzy…stay twisted!!!!

    • designernailsdiana says:

(And I would love to see that “how The HWs are like Jodi list!!) YES YES do it Stars!!!!

  17. pat says:

Nene is funny, and she’s entertaining this season, because she’s in a good mood. She has a real problem when others achieve any success that she covets. She couldn’t stand Kandi from the word “go” then really hated her, and Kim, when they made a hit record together. Nene needs to be Queen Bee.

    • LaineyLainey says:

Or she needs to think she’s the queen bee. I’m sure the others don’t agree with her high opinion of herself.

    • chismosa says:

I thought Nene couldn’t stand when someone achieves success by doing almost literally nothing. 😜😜

  18. Lisa Renee says:

Good Morning NMD, just want to chime in and tell you whatever you decide to do & when, you have my full support. If MTH & Stars are up to it, we all win. Running a blog is a labor of love, after the way you stepped up I will support you, Stars & MTH against anyone who tries to cause dissention. Love the idea from Contessa about the time outs. I completely understand your angst. The people here are very special & what seperates this “HW blog” from all the others. While I love seeing what you & the other contibutors bring everyday, I keep coming back to see how everyone is doing. Commentors who need a little extra love or prayers, milestones, health, life, death, family drama or humor, the really important things in life after we are done snarking. While I couldn’t pick anyone out of a line up (except our twitter rockstar PVS) I am very protective over everyone. I hope our support helps & let the chips fall where they may. I think all of us have done an amazing job honoring Lynn’s vision and your desire to take the torch and run with it. It is your blog and saying thank you 100 times a day will just never come close to how we all feel about you. With my most heartfelt gratitude, Lisa
P.S. just give me the word & I will yoke a bitch 🙂

  19. not THAT Jill says:

Verdict watch….how long do you think the jury will take? I wonder if they have their minds set already. They will be so relieved when this trail is over I’m sure…it’s been going on for so long they must be exhausted!!!

    • LaineyLainey says:

Can you imagine being on that jury. How horribly sickened they must all be.

    • Stars99 says:

      From the HLN site –
Casey Anthony was acquitted of first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. The jury deliberated 10 hours and 40 minutes.

Jerry Sandusky was found guilty of 45 of 48 counts of child sex abuse after a jury deliberated for more than 20 hours over two days.

After almost 14 hours, jurors found Drew Peterson guilty in the death of fourth wife, Kathleen Savio.

The jury in the Conrad Murray trial found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson after about nine hours of jury deliberations.

In 1995, O.J. Simpson was acquitted of two counts of murder in the deaths of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. Jurors deliberated for less than four hours.

Jurors from the second Phil Spector trial deliberated for 30 hours and convicted him of second-degree murder in the death of Lana Clarkson.

After 35 hours of deliberations, stretched out over nine days, jurors acquitted Robert Blake of first-degree murder in his wife’s death.

Scott Peterson was convicted of first-degree and second-degree murder for killing his wife and their unborn child. The jury deliberated for seven days.

After four days of deliberations, the Menendez brothers were convicted of two counts of first-degree murder for killing their parents.

Steven Hayes was convicted of capital murder in the deaths of three members of the Petit family. The jury deliberated four hours.

      • Lisa Renee says:

Stars, what I have learned from InSession, the unofficial rule of thumb is one hour of deliberation for each day of trial. I can’t even do the math lol. Because of the jury questions, unless it has to do with interpreting the law, I predict they will have no questions regarding the evidence. They were amazingly astute, even during the surrebuttal for that schmuck expert, LaViolettes running buddy. Lisa

          • Lisa Renee says:

BB, caught that earlier, great interview. I loved watching Judge Perry in his element. Lisa

            • rabblerouser2010R says:

Great interview. He said what the majority of the world was thinking about the verdict.

        • Stars99 says:

Wow – Lisa Marie – I had no idea about that! Yikes! But I do think when you have the jury being able to ask questions throughout the trial, it puts a whole different spin on things – the jury had ample opportunity to have things cleared up for them as they went along in the case. Plus, this is not a “Who Dunnit” case – since we have a confession. The jury is not being sequestered – so there isn’t that additional pressure, too. My instinct is that it will be a swift verdict for 1st degree… but I think it’s the penalty phase deliberation that will take some time during the second phase of this trial.

          • Lisa Renee says:

Stars, I am not trying to break your balls & really don’t care what people call me as long as I’m not called late for dinner. Lisa Marie married Michael Jackson, not me hahahah 🙂

            • Stars99 says:

lol… Dies laffin’……. oholynightthestarsarebrightlyshining… I’m so sorry I got your name wrong… What’s actually funny is that I first only typed “Lisa”… then thought better of it because I knew you used an additional name here on the blog – so I actually scrolled up to reread your name… and then promptly typed “Lisa Marie.” Wow… am I brain dead or what? lolol… Sorry about that… lol… But now, of course, I’ll probably always call you “Lisa Marie”… on purpose… lol… cuz that’s just how twisted I really am… lol

              • Lisa Renee says:

Stars, I count on you being twisted, it goes well with your brilliancy. Whatever you call me I will always answer 🙂 Lisa

              • TexasTart says:

Stars, for what it’s worth I have thought and typed Lisa Marie before and luckily I caught it before posting! So do not feel alone there, but knowing you ,are thinking about playing the Dana/Pam name game might mess me up!!! 😉

      • Powell says:

I watched all of those trials except Steven Hayes. That one sounds familiar.

  20. Powell says:

Stars your top 10 is excellent. 🙂 I think my fav is the hip huggers stuck in the doggie door. And your disclaimer is hilarious. Thks

    • Stars99 says:

lol Powell… Thanks… it’s quite a visual, isn’t it? An obscure sign that I ended up deleting had to do with “Your Christmas tree suddenly sprouts tennis shoes”… referring, of course, to one of the times Jodi sneaked into his house and hid behind the Christmas tree.

  21. nyc mama says:

I think NeNe needs to clean up her own act before she pretends to be holier than thou and criticize others. There is at least 1 restaurant here in NYC frequented by bravolebrities where she is not welcome back because of her behavior

    • HuskerHuny says:

I have to agree with you there nyc mama. I just don’t get her attitude at all. Let’s talk about Brandi getting up in her face . . . isn’t that what Nene did to both Kim and Dwight a few seasons ago? She is the very last person on this earth who should give an opinion on anyone. Clean up your own backyard first Miss Smarty Pants!

    • chismosa says:

I thought there were like 20 or more restaurants in ny that do not allow for any of the HWs in general, most specifically, the NY ladies

I could have sworn on my dogs I read that

      • nyc mama says:

I am not talking about filming. I am talking about going privately. I don’t know of any others that have banned anyone to come for dinner. I only know about this one because DH’s friend owns the restaurant and said she was so ill behaved that he never wants her back. It didn’t even have to do with being a Diva since he is used to that and has lots of clientele that consider themselves “special”, It was how she treated his staff and other customers and her demands.

Love the gravatar PP. That sums it up well,

        • chismosa says:

Ok sorry I thought you meant overall. My apologies!

          • nyc mama says:

No apologies necessary Chimosa. He actually said that Lisa and Kyle and Taylor have been there (different times) and they were all nice. So have some of the ladies from NYC and the OC, all nice too.

He has also had real celebrities there who were better behaved than Nene was. He didn’t elaborate so I can’t give you particulars but he has been a restauranteur in NYC for many years so difficult customers don’t rattle him but, obnoxious, rude people do and Nene fell in that category.

            • chismosa says:

Thanks NYCM- and I’m genuinely sad to hear that because I’m a total 100% Nene lover, warts and all

But I agree COMPLETELY with why you said below about waitstaff and such.

        • TexasTart says:

          Interesting. Thank you, nyc mama!

        • Powell says:

That’s not good. I don’t like that. Rude & obnoxious. Restaurant staff work hard.

          • nyc mama says:

Ditto. How people treat waitstaff says alot about a person imo. They work hard for little $ and most try their best. There is no excuse to treat anyone poorly unless they do something inappropriate.

        • rabblerouser2010R says:

I can totally believe how NeNe would try to run a waiter or waitress (among others from HW franchises) . Just seeing how some of them behave while being filmed makes my head shake, so I don’t even want to know what they do when they think they are under the radar.

  22. Butters'Mom says:

The blog last year during NJ did make me uncomfortable because I felt on the outside but I soldiered on anyway as I would miss you guys. I love the time out idea when the blog gets crazy. Maybe we can have a code word. Just say, “_________ maybe you should sit and have a lollipop or gumberry.”

  23. cocfarm says:

Did anyone watch madmen? I thought it was one of the best episodes they have ever done. Great tv!

    • chismosa says:

Coc- Im on the fence, (also bc i dont like matthew weiner)- i think the writer is trying to rush in so many things at once. I think they’re trying to make it speed up since the END is only one year ahead of us. And I’m sure we have some dreary Betty episodes to look forward to soon (vomit)

      Why not an all-Joan episode?!?!!!!!

But it was just action-packed. My mother has to watch it, and I told her reallllly pay attention so much is happening !
Had to watch it exhausted at 3am alone without her after cleaning up tables and food and alcohol ……..can’t move my bones today! Lol

      • AZGirl says:

80 people are a lot of mouths to feed.

        • chismosa says:

Thanks AZ for remembering– haha— we wound up not that many maybe 50 or so, still a lot. Problem is people party-hop
But it was a blast. Thanks😚

  24. princesspindy says:

MTH and Stars doing the blogging and recaps, NOW I am excited about NJ, lol!!! I might even watch…

Well, I am off to take Princess Beanie Boo to the eye doctor which just happens to be within minutes of the Carlsbad Outlet Mall, which just happens to have a BareMinerals outlet, a rare store indeed!! It is
“rainy” here, which means that we have gotten less than probably an inch of rain, so in California, for some reason, people think they need to driver even faster!!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

    • Catseye says:

So true about crazy drivers. But the shopping expedition sounds like a lot of fun!

    • Powell says:

I love outlet malls. Bare Minerals? I’d be all over that store. I’m going to a family reunion in SC in July & there is an outlet mall near where we are staying. I’m more excited about that. 🙂

  25. chismosa says:

Thanks for clarifying what is happening with NJ, can I just ask— Stars, pardon me for not remembering but are you a person who, one would say, “likes” Teresa? As in, supports her on the show in general?

I’m just wondering if the blogs will be all sort of you know, “frog face”, “fly”, “maleficent”, all the names called to the Giudice’s family – or are you someone who actually does not care for Teresa?

Just so i get the angle it’s all going and can plan my next 6 months reading accordingly lol!
Thanks NMD, again, it’s a wild ride

    • Stars99 says:

Chismosa – I’m not sure how to best respond to your genuine questions… Since I will be blogging the blogs and not the show itself – there is certainly potential for uncontrollable snark. It’s my job, as I see it. Perhaps the following statements will help you know where I’m honestly coming from: I’m not really “Pro” Teresa or “Anti” Teresa – Nor am I “Pro” Melissa nor “Anti” Melissa – nor any other NJ housewife, either; If anyone says or does anything snarkworthy, I will call them out on it – no matter who it is – and it will be an equal opportunity snarkfest; I don’t like the husbands across the board; and, if I was forced to identify someone that I liked to watch last year that didn’t include the kids, it was Rosie – but now I’m askeered of her. My feelings towards individual NJ housewives have really changed over the seasons… and I’m sure this season will be no different. What I mean to say is that I often start a season thinking that I’m liking what one of them is doing and saying – and then by the end of the season they muck it up – or vice-versa. I’m sitting here trying hard to really summarize my feelings about the NJ franchise – and the word “sad” comes to mind. This is not the first season for any of these women – they are all well aware of the ups and downs of being on a reality show – and have signed-up for it again, anyway. The bottom line is this: They are all willingly putting their family relationships and friendships on the line for a buck. It’s open season. Let the snarking begin!

  26. Nancy says:

Lainey…I think you’d like this. He’s Canada’s greatest expected to win Gold in Soshi 2014.

  27. chismosa says:

Tessssssting. Just seeing if this goes through

  28. TexasTart says:

hellooo….can I get out of Time Out?! 😦

    • chismosa says:

Texas are you having blog issues too? It seems to me like it went dead or something.
Maybe there’s a party somewhere I didn’t get an invite to. Lol

    • TexasTart says:

I was just testing the Time Out system that Contessa came up with, in the event we go haywire during NJ. 😛

      • chismosa says:

Oh there is like a blog thing that NMD will “inflict” on someone ?- I just thought it was like saying to another commenter -” — listen ——-, you need a time out. Satchels of gold. Cool down!”

That said I cannot STAND when someone says chill out or relax to me. I go ape*hit.
It’s a tough call because you can’t fault someone for just having an opinion and allowing them to post that here, no matter how passionately they may do so or how polarizing it may be. Some don’t take hearing passionate opinions well?

I can’t understand when many say it takes “too much out of life” or the “energy”, or need to step away from a show or something. Can’t I have enough energy to both live my life productively AND be passionate about a show ? Lol
If we’re adults we can judge how aspects of our lives go together. Not everyone is as walking dead as someone like Trace Adkins on the Apprentice. Some of us get a little expressive and heated behind keyboards and keypads 😜💃👯
I can get bat$hit crazy about someone as ratchet as Teresa (IM–lonesome- HO) but be able to still be a normal, everyday person at the same time. Just so long as I am not abusive to anyone else here.

But if both recappers are …..lets say….. Flowing? …. Towards one end of the spectrum then yes, I’ll have to take a vaca for 6 months to Siberia and cry myself to sleep every night 😪
Id miss everyone though and it will be nice to return later. And no, I’m not fishing for faux “pleas” or any of that bull that’s called on those that proclaim they are “leaving the blog”. Lol 😆😆
So please don’t take it that way

        • djprincessc says:

Chismosa, I have a guy friend who tells people “cool it” when they start getting a little upset and it sends them from like 0-60 in no time, he did it once and discovered it REALLY pisses people off so he always does it now and it never fails! So those people who tell you “cool down” might be doing it on purpose to you!! Whenever someone tells me “calm down” or “relax” I always just say “ok” with a blank stare, not giving them the satisfaction of losing my shit!! hahahahhaha

          • chismosa says:

Isn’t calming down giving in to them? Like, justifying them telling me to calm down ? I guess it could go both ways
            I’m talking hypotheticals here ……

And HI DJ how are you!?!🙋

        • djprincessc says:

p.s. I love love love Teresa and hate everyone else, but when people are on the flip side I don’t care. If you love Melissa and the Manzos I really don’t care, so I don’t understand why people take this soooo personally. I’ve said it a million times, IT’S JUST A SHOW and I’m not going to shit my pants bc someone is Team Melissa, Tamara or anyone else I can’t stand. lol.

          • TexasTart says:

djprincess, gee I hope you never sh*t your pants for any reason, lol.

          • chismosa says:

DJ TOTALLY get what you are saying and it’s pure
I think though that its more —to me at least, like, if i, say- love YOU DJ, on this blog, I feel a kinship, a friendship of sorts with you,( whereas others I try to reach out with comments and get the cold shoulder, which happens and I get it, I can take a hint) —- but if I love and adore DJ, then me, as a completely flawed, illogical, emotion-centered, right-brained, gut-instinct person, flawed Cancer sign, —it bothers me to my core that the person I adore doesn’t see things the way I do.
Or it makes me feel less than normal, because I feel something is wrong with me if I can’t see the light like those I respect do. You know?

I don’t know, makes no sense, zero, zilch, I get it. But for some reason it’s why I think I get sad.

Like I love you and Lainey like I love MY LUGGAGE but you like (I’m not going to say ‘love’ because I am not sure)— Teresa. And it hurts. Deep down. Like Bryan Adams says, cuts like a knife. You cut me deep Shrek, you cut me real deep.

            • LaineyLainey says:

              ditto, Chismosa!!!!

            • djprincessc says:

OMG Chismosa! You are tooooo much! hahahahahaha I love you!! I get what you are saying though, if you like/love someone that doesn’t see things from your point of view it hurts and confuses you. I get it, and its funny because I would never even think like this or this would never even cross my mind. Thanks for this bc it kinda made me see a totally different side! 🙂

              • chismosa says:

glad you see what i meant DJ…. i know my mind works in a roundabout way sometimes. 😦

        • TexasTart says:

Well, I was just lookin for a laugh Chismosa, but I get so much more from you…..hope you never are forced to go ape*hit OR buy tickects to Siberia, although I hear they are cheap 😉 OR cry yourself to sleep 😦 OR that I have to join you in your quest for sanity 😛

          • chismosa says:

Sorry TT, I think the discussions re: Jersey just got to me.
It’s sad to me to let go….
Didnt mean to make you a casino-starter lol, which of course you are not. It’s me all me!

        • NJBev says:

Did you ever notice that the person who is telling
you to calm down is the one who pissed you off in
          the first place?

      • Powell says:

        Hahaha. 😛

  29. AZGirl says:

I have a question about NJ. Did the producers which favored Mel etc. finish the filming last season or were they replaced? I am assuming they are using the same production company but new producers for S5?

    • chismosa says:

AZ I thought the “BFFs” that were so chummy with Caroline and co? — Michelle / something Rodriguez, is gone- but I’m not sure if the company itself is replaced.
I’m sure we’ll be able to tell by music edits and shot arrangements.
I hated last year when they started the music and the actual storyline of someone and then 10 seconds later show the face / name of which HW it was. That was a new change in production. For some reason that bothers me. They did that in ny too I believe.

However I wonder if Andy or others at Bravo (please dear god let it not be JUST him at the helm)- direct the production company on who to “go after ” that season? Or does the production company call that ? I would think they are under strict orders from bravo on who to “attack”

      • AZGirl says:

That is what is so frustrating to a lot of viewers. When you watch reruns of S1 as compared to S4 you notice how much more scripted it has all gotten. The fact that they are all related in some ways and i.e. “family” is also so disturbing. To me it is like a lion pit and they throw them in and see who survives.

        • melthehound says:

To me, it is like a lot of people amping up drama to try and remain relevant for a TV show. We, are the suckers, who get drawn into it and then fight about it. That’s what I realized about myself, last season anyway. Family drama or not, hate each other or not, they’ve all agreed to film for the same show so we should look at it from that perspective. These are little more than E-List actors being paid to do a job. I said last year that if after the beating (I saw) her take, she signed up for yet another season of it, all bets were off with her. Same with the others. They can cry, piss, and moan all they want but the fact remains, they sign up for it. That, is what makes it Not disturbing to me. I’ve had fights with my sister and I’ll say they were fights worth having. It wasn’t any of this ridiculous he said she said bullshit, it was a matter of life and death. I remember reading last season that some of our posters here have had fights with their siblings, and have chosen never to speak with or see them again. Sad? Yes. Necessary? According to them, Yes. Remember at the reunion that the Gorgas told Teresa they were moving so their kids wouldn’t be in the same school? How Awful that was? That’s how poison they thought Teresa was? Made all the tabloid press too. Here they are, filming together again for the same show. I predict yet another season of trash talking inlaws and cousins and a lot of people picking sides in this now 3 year long (on screen) feud. Bravo has shown us what they believe the viewers want.

I find it hard to feel sorry for any of them; not only NJ but any of the housewives. By now, everyone should know the deal. It’s a job and just like all jobs, each housewife needs to determine if the pay is worth the stress and aggravation. If they decide it is, then no need to whine about how hard it is.

            • BB says:

I should have said “payoff” instead of just “pay” since it’s not just the money for some/most of them.

  30. chismosa says:

Totally totally OT but I can’t believe Anna Wintour would allow that disgusting tramp Trashian to attend the Metropolitan Ball tonight.
Big epic fail Anna. Yuck yuck yuck

This is so prestigious and you just totally $hit on it

Just had to rant, sorry, thank you! Lol

    • AZGirl says:

I am surprised. She blocked Kimmie last year.

    • TexasTart says:

Very surprising. I’ll anticipate a rant on the Fashion Police on Friday 🙂

      • chismosa says:

Yes to both of you^^^^ agreed

And every time I see Kim walk she can barely waddle. I can’t wait to see if she can maneuver herself up the stairs. Hahahahahaah!!!

I don’t know if any of you watch but VH1 brought back Best Week Ever, which is hysterical and I like the Soup first and foremost but after that I watch BWE and last week’s— they were making fun of how Kim couldn’t get out of her car in Paris and Kanye just stood next to her watching her fumble and didnt even lend a hand. Then she went to the store and had to open the heavy glass door all herself. It was hysterical. He is SO dropping her after the baby comes. Wendy will be right. Trust!

I’ll see if I can get a clip of it and post online. Major computer problems with our pc but I’ll try

        • BB says:

Yep, I don’t see him rushing to put a ring on it since her divorce has been finalized.

  31. Hey all…stopping by on an afternoon! Woo hoo!! 😛

I just had to interject in response to a post upthread by Lainey….I couldn’t tag it up there as it got too skinny but….in response to your singing THAT song….just gotta say…

    SQUIRREL!! 😆

Ok…carry on and sorry for the interruption! Tee Hee!

  32. kit9 says:

Brandi responded to Nene through Radaronline. Wait, Brandi ripped Adrienne for using Radaronline. This is one of the more idiotic things she had to say…”And I am gangsta! Why can’t I be gangsta? Because I’m white, skinny and tall?!” She also said that Nene shouldn’t comment about her without knowing her. Um, well, Brandi, when you act a mess, people tend to form opinions on that behavior. And, whatever Brandi did, it must have been bad since it wasn’t just Nene that had an issue with her, Cynthia did, too. Only 30 minute left for verdict probably not happening today.

    • nyc mama says:

Diid Cynthia have an issue with her? That was what we were discussing when were were diverted with the “boxes” discussion about Cynthia’s tweet about it and it seemed that Cynthia didn’t have a problem..

      • kit9 says:

Well, Cynthia retweeted an item saying that Brandi had started up with them at the upfronts and that she and Nene shut her down….and then Cynthia tweeted ‘lol’ or laughter at people saying that Brandi got read… she pretty much confirmed that she did have a problem with whatever Brandi did that night.

        • kit9 says:

Oh, and btw, can one of them just spit out what it was she said/did? Including Brandi? Or maybe she was too hammered to remember. Although, she did say she was ‘tipsy’ which doesn’t sound full blown drunky to me. But, since they’ve all ringed in on it, enough of the mystery and just blurt it out. lol!

      • rabblerouser2010R says:

        LOL- the boxes.
Chrimosa has been using them lately in her posts and I wish I know what they were..but that the same time they make me laugh fondly over the whole box discussion.

(Chrimosa, please don;t think I am calling you out over anything. My point is is just that I can’t see the emoticons you are using)

Omg I am SO SORRY — and please, call me box-lady all you want it’s fine. It’s a terrible addiction!

if I was not having such pc /computer problems I’d be more often on that. And the only other thing we have is this tiny Acer notebook that I can barely type on.
So….. I resort to the phone

I think for now on I’m going to write BOX BOX BOX instead. Haha!

I really thought many of you were on iPads ? I feel like I always hear discussions and complaints about them.

That’s a 4 hour dvr setup. I always hate when I want to see someone that is later on in that show but can’t catch it.
Well– i suppose you could do the recording for the following hour and set it to record one hour early
