Real Housewives Of New Jersey Cast Blogs

By Stars99

DISCLAIMER:  This week’s blogs were really tough to get through for a number of reasons. I’ve been really sick this week so I haven’t really been able to think or to see straight.  I honestly don’t have the energy to proof it at this point, either and the deadline alarm clock is going off! Please read with kind, forgiving eyes. The blogs continue to be full of crap about who did what to whom… Who feels they deserve an apology…Strategic rationalizations for actions and inactions… Doublespeak and even triplespeak… Creative rewriting of history… etc.… I started tackling them one blog at a time – but I found I was being really venomous towards each of them – and that really doesn’t help anything.  I’m exhausted from trying to make some sense out of the indefensible – and I recognize that I’m actually the insane one for trying to make sense out of all the insanity.  So, I’m going to try and take a page out of BB’s infamous blogging the blogs technique – and will attempt to handle only the big issues one subject at a time. I call them as I see them – and I’m sure you’ll probably be calling me a few choice names after we’re done – since many of us have aligned ourselves on one team or another.  Me? I’m Switzerland with an attitude. I’m disgusted with all of them, yet will attempt to remain neutral – but reserve the right to snark when I see fit.

HOSPITALIZATION HORRORS – These people can’t even decide what day Teresa and JoeGo’s dad went into the hospital much less how many days it took for Melissa to visit him. While Melissa originally implied that JoeGo had physically taken his parents to the hospital – it’s really clear by Nonna’s phone call with Teresa that he was taken by ambulance.  Regardless, when he received the early morning emergency phone call it seems like JoeGo met them there at the hospital.  Was Teresa there? No… but everyone was strangely silent on that issue.  Teresa said she “dropped everything” when she got the call from her mom.  We never heard anything about an awkward meeting of Teresa and JoeGo at the hospital – probably because he left by the time that Teresa arrived. We saw Tre and JoeGi arrive during the daylight hours (when we saw them filming).  I’m sure neither wanted to add stress to their dad’s situation… and so maybe they staggered their time with their parents.  Does it really matter who actually drove them the hospital?  No… but I’m starting to think Melissa needs to be intravenously fed truth serum in order to be able to actually extract the truth from her.

Teresa says, “My dad has emphysema, so he has weak lungs. He’s been in the hospital before, but this last time was the worst because he was in the ICU.”  Did anyone else find it hysterical that Teresa found it important in her talking head to tell us all what “ICU” stands for?  Umm… Teresa, most of us learned that acronym by the age of 10, thank you very much.  Teresa continues, “We weren’t sure how things were going to go, and my mother and I basically camped out with him. I wasn’t going to leave his side.

Teresa says about Melissa, “She twists everything I say or do, and says that I do the same thing to her. I’m sure it’s exhausting to watch, because it is exhausting to live. I love her, she is family, but I’m not sure I’m ever going to like her. At least not all the time.” Well, truer words were never said.  Teresa continues, “But I just can’t stand by when she uses my parents publicly.”  How exactly did Melissa use your parents publicly this time? Teresa, you’re the one who was talking smack about Melissa not going to see your dad in the hospital to anyone and everyone.  It was Kim D. who started the conversation with Melissa at Gia’s party about whether or not she went to see your dad in the hospital.  Melissa did not bring it up – You and your cronies did!

Teresa says, “You don’t have to camp there. You don’t have to put your entire life on hold. But I think out of respect you could visit him the first day… or two… or three… or at the very least call him and tell him why you can’t come, but that you’re thinking of him, praying for him, and love him.”  Absolutely, calls/texts should have been immediately made – and get well wishes should have been sent in some way – Every single time, period.  No excuse!  However, guidelines vary between hospitals and the reality is that when someone is in the ICU that extra care is taken when it comes to visitation.  Even if you don’t have the flu yourself – but someone in your immediate family is actively suffering from it – It’s just not prudent to go visit someone who is in the ICU.  You may not have the flu yourself but you could be a carrier.  There are many illnesses wherein you can be very contagious during the incubation period before symptoms even present themselves.  If there’s any question – don’t go – but of course, you make phone calls, send texts… cards, flowers (although they also aren’t always allowed in ICU), etc.  It’s all about the patient’s health – and not about anyone or anything else.  In addition, there aren’t many ICUs that actually allow kids (much less grandkids) to visit either.  I had to be smuggled in to see my mom when I was under 18 – and at that I could only wave at her from the door.  Perhaps I’m weird, but I’m not so sure I would want my very young kids to visit someone in the hospital – especially if there are tubes involved.

From what I can glean from the shows and the blogs, it seems like the following happened:  Sunday at around 3:00 AM both Teresa and JoeGo got calls that their dad couldn’t breathe and was going to the hospital.  JoeGo went to the hospital at that point.  Teresa visited during daylight hours on Sunday – but it seems that JoeGo had gone back home at that time.  Teresa and her mom stayed by her dad’s side on Monday, which is also when JoeGo got sick with a 103 temperature.  Melissa also says that she had a really sore throat and “could barely swallow her own spit.”  By Tuesday, JoeGo’s flu was getting even worse that included other bodily functions in which I won’t go into any detail.  Melissa says, “On Tuesday, Joe was a mess…. He turned white from dehydration and had to go to the ER. And I found out that I had strep throat.”  By Wednesday, Melissa was feeling better and decided to take Antonia with her to the hospital to see Nonno.  Nonno must have been feeling better, too.  Not sure if that’s the day he got out of ICU or not – but it would make sense he would not have still been in ICU because they usually don’t let kids in ICU to visit.

Honestly, these people need to take off their mittens so they can count on their fingers to calculate whether it took Melissa 2, 3, 4 or 9 days to visit him.  Truth be told, she should have never visited him at all if she was told on Tuesday that she had “strep throat.”  To then go to the hospital the very next day to visit someone who was just in ICU is just unconscionable to me.

I’ve read many comments from people who think that JoeGo wasn’t actually sick at all.  I disagree.  I think his eyes looked really glassy when he was talking to Melissa.  He was sitting down during his scenes.  He looked really spent to me. There are lots of things that I could say about JoeGo and, quite frankly, I probably have said a lot of them – but purposefully not visiting his dad in the hospital just does not ring true to me.  Now, if Teresa had been in the hospital – that’s a whole ‘nuther Oprah.

KIM D. IS A HOUSEWIFE WANNABE – Can we all agree we would like Kim D. “to go scratch?” I get nauseated every time she’s onscreen because it’s so clear she just wants to be RHONJ when she grows up.  The thing is… she never grows up. So we were treated to a couple of scenes with our little alleged drug addict fame whore this week.  She was at a restaurant with Teresa when Linda called to alert the media that Melissa, Kathy and Jac were at the “Teresa’s” gym. She actively joined in the reindeer games by ridiculing their physiques, etc.  At Gia’s party, Kim D. confronted Melissa about her not visiting her father-in-law.  She even invoked the “people were talking about” method of passive aggressiveness when she said that she had “heard” that Melissa, Kathy and Jac were at the gym.  This put Melissa on alert – you could almost see red lights starting to flash and hear sirens going off in her head.  People had been talking about Melissa behind her back again – but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who had been talking to whom.  Kim D. went so far as tell Melissa that “people were talking about” why would she be working out at the gym when her father-in-law was sick in the hospital.  Wait…  Teresa was working out at the gym only a couple hours earlier, right?  And Teresa was having lunch with Kim D. at that same time – so it’s okay for Teresa to work out and have lunch but not for Melissa?

It sure as heck wasn’t Kim D’s job to interrogate Melissa at Gia’s party about the specifics about visiting Teresa’s dad in the hospital.  I don’t care that they were standing next to the wall in the “adult” section of the party – Gia still had to deal with the repercussions.  It created drama and friction which is exactly what Kim D. wanted because she so obviously wants to be a housewife on the show.  And all of this was at whose expense?  Gia!

Caroline says, “The whole hospital visit thing was nuts. Bottom line is this, everybody went and paid their respects. Joe Gorga was sick and unable to visit his dad, Melissa went with the kids, and Kathy and Rich sent Joe and Victoria in their place. Let’s all appreciate the fact that Mr. Gorga came out of the hospital knowing that his family was there to support him regardless of the date and time of arrival. Don’t sweat the small stuff.”  I actually agree with Caroline on this one.  I don’t even care about whether or not Melissa actually visited on the 2nd day, 3rd day, 4th day or 12th day.  However, if she hadn’t been in contact with her in-laws during this time then she’s out of line!  There doesn’t seem to be any indication people were mad at JoeGo – so it seems that he must have been in okay contact with his parents even while he was sick and unable to visit himself. Melissa was being backed into a corner about the situation on camera and she lied to get out of it. Shame on her! She should have called or texted… but really, all of this is between she and her in-laws – certainly not Kim D.

FATHER AND DAUGHTER BOY TALK – Is there any girl alive who ever wanted to talk to their dad about boys? Imagine having that conversation filmed and shown on TV… Ugh!  I did not find this scene to be okay on any level other than it’s great that a JoeGi and Gia had some father/daughter time together.  Teresa says, “How much did I love the conversation Joe had with her about boys?”  Really?  You liked that conversation that Gia had with Joe about boys?  It was very uncomfortable for me to watch.  That stuff shouldn’t be talked about on a reality show on TV.  Gia had to go to school after that episode aired.  How freakin’ embarrassing!  Hate to tell you guys, but Gia has probably already kissed boys at the very least.  You are kidding yourselves if you think otherwise. Her upbringing is not your upbringing… she has grown up in the multi-media age and has already been exposed to so much more than you can even imagine. We had our big sex talk in 5th grade at school… and then mom filled in the blanks. I would have been horrified to talk to my dad about anything about it or about boys in general. Then to use it as a storyline is Holy Cow Inappropriate!

Caroline writes, “Joe and Gia’s talk was nice to see. I’m all for kids connecting with their parents, and although it was TMI on Gia’s part, the fact that she was comfortable enough to discuss that with her dad is a good thing. As a side note, I always thought “grill” was slang for teeth. See, you learn something new every day.”  Yeah, I wish I hadn’t learned that little tidbit.

Teresa attempts to backpedal when she blogs, “For the record, Gia did not walk in on me and Joe having s-e-x. Joe was just telling her she can’t kiss until she’s 21 because it’s “disgusting,” and I was saying that it’s a little too late for that since she walked in on us. Kissing. She saw us in a wet kiss moment, not the usual tap kisses we give in front of our kids, and I’m pretty sure she knows we didn’t think it was disgusting.”  I call “bull honkey” on this one!  In your talking head, Teresa… you almost squealed when you were talking about when Gia “walked in on you” and that fortunately, you had just “finished.”  Now you’re trying to tell us that you meant she walked in on while you were “wet kissing?”  Do we look like complete idiots?  Perhaps you’re now trying to minimize Gia’s embarrassment by saying you were only “wet kissing” (Insert gratuitous eye roll here!). This whole show has got to be crazily embarrassing for a 12 year-old.  This is coming from the same woman who physically had sex not more than 100 yards away from an entire camera crew and cast mates in a certain vineyard last season.

GYM, GYM WHO OWNS THE GYM? –  Teresa writes, “I have to clear up a few things about the gym. First, Linda is not a trainer. She’s just my friend, and we work out together every single day. She has an amazing body, so you can see why I would listen to her. She practically lives at the gym, so when she saw Melissa, Kathy (who wasn’t a member), and Jacqueline suddenly show up, she called me. She’s protective of me like any friend would be.  She knows what I went through last year. She watched the reunion. She knows how close Jacqueline and I used to be. To see that Jacqueline drove 45 minutes just to meet two people that weren’t in a good place with me somewhere I go every day to unwind made Linda suspicious. She was just joking about fat asses probably to make me laugh, the same way Melissa, Kathy, and Jacqueline were laughing about Linda being a skinny bitch. Neither one was meant as an insult. We all have friends of different shapes and sizes. You don’t have to look a certain way to be amazing, sexy, or confident!”  Oh, Teresa, you made it sound like Melissa went to YOUR gym out of the blue. On camera, you conveniently omitted the fact that you knew she was a member. It does make sense to try to work out at different times than someone in which you’re having an argument – but come on… People’s lives change all the time and hence schedules change.  Plus, the producers already had a camera crew there who were filming you at the gym in the morning – so of course, if they also wanted footage of Melissa at the gym… they would do it after yours was done.  People bring friends to the gym all the time… plus the producers must have thought it would be fun to try film Melissa and Kathy during an actual class. Get over yourself.  Oh, and all of you were smack talking and insulting each other just like you were in 3rd grade.  Don’t try to spin it a different way now or sugarcoat it just so you don’t get crap about it. Teresa then talks about how she doesn’t own the gym and that she knew her brother and Melissa went there at night.  It has become a place for her to get away from it all and has been a peaceful refuge.  She thinks Linda was just looking out for her.  I’m sure that’s true.

Melissa blogs, “Kathy and Jacqueline both asked me for workout advice and told me they wanted to get in shape. I thought the class would be great for them, so I invited them to join me. Kathy worked really hard. I don’t think she had a lot of fun, but she was a great sport. I cracked up when she said I wasn’t sweaty enough after class. When Joe and I workout together, he always says that too. He’s always drenched, and I’m always dry. I just don’t sweat a lot. It’s how my body works.”  I hate you for not sweating. It’s kind of not fair that some of us after a really tough workout just “glow” when others of us look like we’re going to keel over.  It’s just wrong on so many levels.  You also did NOT look like you were sick in any way, btw.  Melissa further blogs, “When Jacqueline showed up in jeans, I realized she never had any intention of taking the class. LOL! She mentioned her Nervous Nellie phobias of exercising in public and driving alone on the highway. Not ideal for living in New Jersey, the “what exit?” state. She told me later that her fear of driving stemmed from being in a bad car accident when she was younger. I get that. I certainly carry around some baggage from my childhood. Along with what she’d said, I invited her to come because she’d been under so much stress lately. Exercise is a powerful stress reliever for me. When I workout, I feel stronger. I might give exercise too much credit. I think of it as the cure-all for stress and illness. Ever heard the expression “sweat it out?” If only I had sweat more, maybe I could have cured my sore throat!”  Being in a bad car accident can be devastating.  Why are we just now learning about Jac’s driving phobia?  It seems weird to me – and if you had the phobia, why on earth would you agree to drive 45 minutes for a class in which you had no intention of participating?  It just makes no sense to me.  Camera time and storylines do “drive” you to do some odd things, I guess.

Melissa says, “I was confused why certain people make such a big deal out of Kathy and Jacqueline going to the gym. Linda obediently called Teresa about it like an undercover spy reporting into headquarters. Teresa wondered why the ladies were at her gym. Funny, I didn’t notice Teresa’s name on the door. It really bugged me listening to Teresa, Kim D., and Linda (or, as Joe called them, Moe, Larry, and Curly) laughing on the phone about people’s weight. Were they auditioning for Mean Girls? I hate listening to that. Kathy and Jacqueline look sensational. We should all be so “fat.””  You guys talked smack about Linda, too… don’t pretend to be all angelic about this. You all are disgusting.

GIA’S BIRTHDAY BASH – Didn’t we all cringe when Teresa and JoeGi talked to Christopher about being Gia’s BFFL… or worse yet, when JoeGi asked him if he had a crush on her?  I would have D.I.E.D.  According to Melissa’s blog, Gia’s party was the Saturday after Teresa’s dad went into the hospital.  Teresa says, “We were going to cancel Gia’s birthday party, but my dad didn’t want us to. He was in the hospital a week and finally got moved out of ICU, so we did go ahead with Gia’s party.”  I’m sure Nonno would have been horribly upset if his granddaughter’s birthday party had been cancelled because of his hospitalization.

Melissa says, “Our family was invited to Gia’s birthday party. I’m not going to lie, I was surprised to get an invite. It wasn’t easy for me to go there alone, but my kids really wanted to see their cousins. Joe was way too sick to take them. I put on my big girl panties and went.” Melissa, I give you credit for taking them to the party.  It was great that Teresa extended the invitation – but you really had no choice but to go, did you?  It’s all about the kids and you adults need to figure how to make sure they’re put first before anything else!  I understand it wasn’t something that you wanted to go – but please, try to refrain from wearing the “martyr” crown, please!

Melissa says, “How cute are the boys’ faux-hawks? I love dolling them up. You can never use too much hairspray when you live in Jersey!”  Ummm, yes you can.  I’m convinced that New Jersey’s addition to hairspray has dramatically contributed to the depletion in the ozone layer!  Melissa further says, “I wasn’t driving around just listening to my own music, although I do love the song “Rockstar.” My kids request my songs every time they get in my car! I love that they ask for them. They know all the words and I think it’s adorable!” OMG… I was wondering if it was your music that was playing in the van – although I’ve really tried hard not to familiarize myself with it… Color me shocked that it just happened to be captured on camera!  Why, how self-serving of you, Melissa!

Jacqueline says in her blog, “When I said that Gia’s party was the last place I’d want to be, I meant if I were Melissa. If I were Melissa, I probably would have bought Gia a gift and taken her out for dinner and cake to celebrate instead. I felt like Melissa was walking into the lion’s den, because I knew a lot of people that would be at the party had ill feelings toward her, including Teresa. At least there was an effort on both parts to try to bring the kids together. Melissa told me that Linda had pulled her aside when Teresa wasn’t around to tell her how proud she was of her for coming and that it took a lot of guts. I agree.”  I agree, too.  But then, just as quickly as I agreed with Jac, she makes me regret it by saying, “It was sad to me not being around Teresa’s kids to watch them grow up. I always thought I would be there for them and was looking forward to it. I would have been the aunt to tell Gia to shave her “grill” LOL!”  Jacqueline… I just have no words.

EVERYONE WANTS AN APOLOGY – Teresa blogs, “As to why I told Caroline that I wanted an apology from Jacqueline, yes, I did. I understand the heat of the moment, I understand trying to hurt someone you think hurt you, I understand we are all guilty sometimes. But there were two things I thought crossed the line. Last season when she brought up fake tabloid stories about me on camera and pretended to be worried that they were true, that was too much for me. And after that guy came up to Melissa and said he used to work with her, Jacqueline went to my brother and told him I set the whole thing up. And he believed her. He texted me that Jacqueline told him I set it up and that I was “dead to him” and to never speak to him again. It’s the single reason why we stopped talking for good. Jacqueline knew I didn’t set Melissa up. She knows who did. For her to use that lie to break up my family for good was too much for me.”  Perhaps it’s just me… but I think if I read something in the tabloids about a good friend of mine – no matter what the subject was – that I would of course talk to them about it, while understanding if they didn’t want to divulge certain aspects of their personal life with me.  The questions that Jac was asking really didn’t bother me much.  Seriously, Teresa, you’re allowing your daughter’s first brar shopping situation, sex talk with dad that includes talking about a certain grill to be aired on TV.  Therefore, I’m sorry, but the concept a friend asking you general questions about your finances or your husband’s potential jail time don’t seem really that outlandish to me.  However, Jac absolutely does need to apologize for the whole lie that she perpetuated about being you being an active participant in the set-up of Melissa at the fashion show.  You’re right… she needs to apologize to you, to your brother and to Melissa.  The minute she found out the information she furnished was wrong – it should have happened.  Your brother acted on false information and instead of acknowledging it – he continues to act on it to the utter detriment of your family.  Shame on him!

Jacqueline writes, “When Caroline told me that Teresa expected an apology from me, it made me giggle at the suggestion of it. It was as if Teresa really felt like she didn’t owe ME one. Caroline had also told me that Teresa blamed me for the demise of her family. That bothered me, because I knew there had been hard feelings between her and her family that were never truly resolved long before I ever came into the picture. I felt like Teresa still wasn’t taking any accountability for anything that she had done to destroy our friendship or her relationship with her family. She was still shifting blame onto others.” The thing is, you owe Teresa an apology about your part of causing the hullabaloo when you blamed Teresa for Melissa’s set up during the Posche Fashion Show last season. (Wow, are we really still talking about this?).   You talk about how others need to take accountability – you need to take some accountability, too.

Other subjects were touched on in their blogs such as coming home and finding a pig named “Moo Shoo” grazing on some grass, diet dilemmas, Nicholas’s journey, and a joy ride with Aunt Rosie, etc.  Bladdity blah blah blah…

Great Job Stars99, Thank you very much.

That’s all folks.

Hi Powellypooh, I would have been here earlier, hubby and I went to fry’s and then to Olive Garden. Full tummies…but we’re back!!! He is napping now and here I am watching Toddler’s and Tiara’s. this is a “good one” there is a crazy ma…yeah, I know what else is new? Well this lady is threatening people and starting fights with other moms and the pageant director and pageant owner, f this f that, b this, b that all while holding her baby on her hip and holding the hand of her toddler. Ok, that’s not good, it really sad for the kids. I wonder if they’re safe with her. If someone wanted to say she was an unfit mother they would certainly have grounds with this footage. Her on camera mood swings are worrisome. I hope she gets help.

Stars99 – You are Switzerland with an attitude. Priceless. Thanks for your dedication to the blog even when you are 100%. Now back to reading.

Echoing what BB said above ^^ Stars, god bless you. I hope you are feeling better too

    Husker— hope the ear improving!!

Does anyone know because I’m reading the blogs of another bravo show but on my phone– do they not show the comments for some shows? I mean I know all about the editing down of the comments but they don’t show up one phone right after the blogs ??? Anyone know about this? Thanks in advance…..

    Ok back to reading ^^^^.

    • chismosa says:

The comments to the blogs don’t show up on the phone underneath the blogs. Is what I meant. ❗

      • TexasTart says:

Yes. I have never been able to see Bravo comments on my android phone. Now, if someone were to post a link to a blog then I can see the comments. Weird, I know!

Morning Glories! Great job Stars, I haven’t been able to make it through an entire show, and refuse to try to read the manifestos, but I love your recaps 🙂 hope you feel better soon.

  5. Good morning. I’ll be getting a new computer today (hopefully). Thanks you MTH, Stars and BB for keeping everything going.

I am so so so exited for the Mad Men finale tonight. I wish I had the time to blog it. I am still steamed at Don for taking the idea away from Peggy and attributing it the dead partner, so that when they submit for an award her name won’t be on it. He managed to destroy Ted’s self-confidence and Peggy’s career in one vindictive move, I hope Ted is strong enough to understand how horribly flawed Don really is, and that he can’t trust him an inch.

    • california35 says:

      Good morning!
Yay!! For a new computer 🙂
And i am looking forward to Mad Men too. It is interesting for different reasons then before. Hey! I miss more Joan :-/ i wonder if others will find out about Bob tonight or until future seasons. I wonder about Ted and Peggy, also about the partnership, how long will that last? How about Pete and wife, mother, situation at work and seeing Ted interested in Peggy. Hat about Don’s daughter? I keep fearing that she will go bad girl in a second, but luckily not yet. I liked how the boy defender her from his friend AND said that she is like his sister 🙂 thank God, for a while i thought he still wanted to hurt someone and that someone would be Sally.

      • Powell says:

I was wondering when Peggy & Pete’s child would be brought up again. Funny how Peggy almost got the wrong end of that conversation w/Pete’s mom. At 1st I.thought Pete’s mom was having an affair w/the male nurse but when Pete spoke w/his protege I got it that he &the nurse are gay.

    • AZGirl says:

Good news! Nothing like a new computer!

    • chismosa says:

Great news NMD. I can’t stand computer problems. I hope to one day get the stupid Apple Mac- something or other and then you get line 52 weeks of lessons along with it or something

Mad Men– I COMPLETELY agre about so little Joan this season. Hating it.

Don was jealous that he didnt have his sister/best friend/ soul mate/kindred spirit Peggy to himself anymore so took it out in a bratty way. He’s stunted, his emotional growth lasted until he got “””raped””” by the hooker back when he was younger. He hates and craves women at the same time.
Paychology students should study his character.

I feel tonight may be anti climactic but with all Don’s (noted)coughing in recent episodes, maybe they will give him a medical problem. The vague description on my guide says that Don has a major problem. Um ok.
I’m just sad it’s only 1 hr long.

      • california35 says:

Sad but true, he was too young for his first time as he was sick and all the bad stuff he had gone through already.
Interesting about the medical problem, i forgot about it. He will eventually be diagnose something with the kind of life he leads. Sex and alcohol. He has been acting sick but I get confused because of his sinking i dont know of he is hang over and not sick 😛

      • windycitywondering2 says:

Chismosa! Get out of my head! LOL I was thinking Don might be dealt a health issue too! And every time I see Don’s daughter I have a feeling things are going to get real bad. And I was thinking that Ted and Peggy might go start their own agency. LOL

        • chismosa says:

I just wrote TWICE to you Windy City— both times it doesn’t post– I’m trying #3 now:

I just wrote you a comment and it did not post—

I am now reading that the possibility may be Sylvia is pregnant- and remember she’s a staunch Catholic, though that doesn’t guarantee anything —–

Peggy and Ted should do that but they would need sales, so maybe Ken Cosgrove would be good — he’s my favorite man on this show– but now he just said he wants to get out of advertising !

          We’ll see … Can’t wait

      • Laineylainey says:

I volunteer to study Don. I will do the physical.

    • Powell says:

Great news about the computer NMD. I.hope you like it. I’m watching that epi right now. Don is soooo slick. That’s why he usually wins the Ad Awards. I just laughed at Pete finding his 2nd fraudster at SCP. IDK where they take the characters from here.

Stars, I hope you are feeling better. Blogging these blogs can truly make your head spin!! You did a great job. I love the format you & BB are using. Pick a topic. If that makes it easier, we all so appreciate you taking the time and effort to get thru the blogs.

Tonight’s episode is a going to be a hard one. I’ve seen sneak previews. All I can say is if I hated Joe Gorga before this episode, I absolutely despise him even more now. He went so low with his sister, with his blood.

And Caroline continuing to fostering the family issues of people who are NOT her family??!! As for Rosie, this woman needs to be off the show and headed into some kind of anger management rehab. I cannot understand how anyone can be a Rosie supporter after tonight’s episode. Actually, after her rampage at the reunion solidified it for me.

Everyone enjoy the beautiful day. Sunshine here on Long Island!!

Stars sublime recap— just one thing that is interesting and I don’t know if everyone had pointed it out here yet or not, there were blogs online pointing out discrepancies with Teresa with Kim D at “coffee/lunch” vs “at the gym” with the clothing and all that. Especially with that grotesque bedazzled cap Tre is sporting. So it’s been added to the Bravo repertoire of “staged scenes” just like the NY ladies recently. They’re getting super lazy with time lapses/clothing/location shots

I still don’t get what the “grill” is referring to, mustache? Or is it something dirtier? Gia did have a vagina birthday cake. Tmi tmi! Sorry! I thought I knew all the slang plus why on god’s green earth would Gia talk private parts to her father? It must mean mustache

After seeing the first look the other day, I knew I was right when reading between the lines regarding Kathy and Tre’s parents’ relationship. I think there is SO much hurt and pain there i almost see it weighing on Kathy and Rosie. I truly feel for them because i have had parental-siblings alienation problems myself. I brought my mom and her only (full) blood relative sister back together after decades of not speaking so I get it.

i know everyone here really can’t stand Rosie or Kathy, but for what their poor mother went through, I’m totally feeling for them.

Teresa probably struggles with some of that guilt of her father and it’s just embedded along with her other super high cortisol levels and ulcers she’s got for the lies and deceit and decrepit family life she has with that ape and the troubled daughters.

I didn’t know there were two teams here, frankly I’m so happy to hear that ! It makes me feel less alone. I thought it was like 98%-2%. I feel cautiously optimistic. 🙂

Thanks again for the superb recap but most importantly FEEL BETTER– that is what matters!!!

    • Amalfi says:

“I thought I knew all the slang plus why on god’s green earth would Gia talk private parts to her father? It must mean mustache ”

Oh my gosh – THANK YOU!!!!! That whole scene skeeved me out, but you just brought up an alternative explanation I can stomach.

    • Teams LOL – I think 95 percent of us here are team NONE OF THEM including BRAVO. I see them all in various shades of flawed and reserve the right to change my opinion at any given moment in time depending on what edit the producers decide to show me. To me they are no more real than the characters on Mad Men.

      • chismosa says:

Hmmm, ok I guess I see it differently but that’s cool. 😉
I think I should have said the “commenting teams” — because I know the lurkers are scared to comment sometimes. 😦
Please come out and support me!!!! Lolllll

It’s fun to be on other blogs — (where I only read and never comment because I can’t cheat on the Lynn family, I ain’t no polygamist lol!)– because other blogs are so adamantly opposite what the *feel* is (imho imho) here. It’s ok, I’m just hoping this season will not be 1/2 a year long again.
And I hope it is Caro’s last season, like I read somewhere

Regardless— I can’t quit you blog!
        Hugs all around.

        • Sasha says:

Chimosa I get what you are saying about the lurkers. Most of the time my opinions are the opposite so I only comment when I have time to reply and a little bit of wine in me.

I like keeping it fun and entertaining for myself.

      • lizzle says:

“reserve the right to change my opinion at any given moment” ITA… I will eventually have been on all teams by the end of the housewives era

        • windycitywondering2 says:

LOL lizzle – I reserve the right to change my opinion and I will always be on Team They All Suck!

    • realhousewifeva says:

A grill is usually referring to the mouth area, so I would assume hair on her grill would mean a mustache. Why would anyone think grill means private parts? Am I missing some new slang? lol

Alexis Bellino Instagrammed that ugly bedazzled cap Teresa wears is from Alexis` line! Who knew? Ugly fashion choices being shared throughout the franchises.

      • Amalfi says:

I know which is why Juicy said “what does she mean – you got hair on your teeth?”

I just never expect anything normal on this show, and the kids all know too much about everything (and not just the Giudice girls.)

      • melthehound says:

We have made assumptions as to what ‘grill’ means in this case due to Gia’s age and who said it to her. Further by her embarrassment when Joe asked her about this argument/comment.

    • Laineylainey says:

Chismosa, her cap is grotesque!?? LOL! Obnoxious yes, but grotesque? I do love your descriptions

  9. Amalfi says:

STARS: Truth be told, she should have never visited him at all if she was told on Tuesday that she had “strep throat.” To then go to the hospital the very next day to visit someone who was just in ICU is just unconscionable to me.

I had strep a lot as a child. I know by the time you are diagnosed, you are not contagious.

    They’re all stupid.

    • lizzle says:

      Interesting lil factoid about strep.

      • Amalfi says:

Haha yes… many a time I went to the doctor for antibiotics one day and got to (had to) go to school the next day with his blessings.

    • windycitywondering2 says:

My kids excelled at getting strep throat – after 48 hours on antibiotics you are not contagious any more. And every time I brought them in their doctor would do the test on me too. So once Mel “found out” that she had strep she didn’t back it up with the “fact” that she was on antibiotics??

    • Powell says:

I had strep about 4 yrs ago for the 1st time. Not a good feeling.

      • HuskerHuny says:

Another strep story – my son is a carrier of strep throat, meaning he shows no symptoms but after taking a throat swab, he tests positive. We really have had to watch every sniffle, cough and sneeze while he was growing up. I think he’s probably outgrown it by now and he’s a very healthy young adult.

I had a cold while my mother was in the hospital so I didn’t go to see her. She passed away a few days later, but I knew my presence there would only make her health matters worse. My biggest peeve is when people expose others to their germs instead of staying home; hence my current ear infection. It’s better, my ear is still plugged, but overall I feel better. Get well wishes to you Stars!

        • chismosa says:

That’s very interesting Husker – I never knew that it’s a “carrier” thing

          Feel better yourself.

  10. windycitywondering2 says:

Before I read Stars recaps, I have to ask this question! Why oh why does Leanne Rimes make everyone see her and her millions of bikinis?? Not pretty! I just had to get that off my chest!

  11. Rebecca says:

Melissa was all over twitter with where she was taking her daughter, getting her hair blown out, and having dinner out with her husband. I think Tre’s friends knew this and didn’t come right out and say it, they harped on what day Melissa went to the hospital.

    • lizzle says:

Melissa is a liar. For me it is like the story I tell the kids all the time about The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Kathy didn’t even believe she was sick. BUT… I will give her the fact that you can feel a slight throat sensation before the hell of strep comes on… BUT… then to tweet pictures of you everywhere but home is suspect. So.. to break the tie in my mind… I will have to go w/ past behavior… she wasn’t that sick.

      • Powell says:

        Nope she wasn’t that sick.

This is off track but last night I turned to 20/20 & they had an ex-burglar on showing how he broke into homes & what homes he targeted. “Beware of Dog” signs is a good thing, dog or no dog. 9 Xs out of 10 burglars avoid those homes. Homes hidden by trees, bushes, burglars love those homes. He would break in & walk right out the front door w/the loot. Hide jewels & valuables in shoe boxes in another room like a child’s room. Burglars don’t really waste their time on those rooms. Laptop, cell phones etc, hide the cords separately. It’s hard to sell those items w/o the cords so he would not bother w/those. Turn on your alarm, cameras are good. And last Burglars monitor social media. They just love when people like Mel tell Twitter & FB world their every move.

        • Rebecca says:

Even though my Doberman died 5 years ago, I keep Beware of Doberman signs all over the fence. We have a black whippet/Shepard mix that could pass for a Dobie if someone looked through the window. Two years ago, a trick ot treater’s father asked me if the Doberman was “put away.” So we finally figured out why the house was skipped in lieu of the houses across the street.

        • lizzle says:

I’ve heard the security signs and beware of dog signs work even w/out the dog or security. I didn’t think about chargers and hiding valuables in children’s rooms. Great advice!

  12. Amalfi says:

STARS: Wait… Teresa was working out at the gym only a couple hours earlier, right? And Teresa was having lunch with Kim D. at that same time – so it’s okay for Teresa to work out and have lunch but not for Melissa?

I guess the key difference is that Teresa had already seen her dad, while Melissa was “too sick” to visit or pick up a phone, but well enough to keep up in an advanced step class and still have time to mock those who couldn’t. 🙂

    • Amalfi says:

I am already preoccupied with the preview where Melissa tells the world that her dad was unfaithful in his marriage to her mother while she was growing up, even though he is dead now and can’t speak for himself

I suppose if Teresa wants Melissa to treat Dad Gorga with the same level of respect Melissa would show her her own father, then she did — so stop complaining, Teresa. 🙂

      • windycitywondering2 says:

I hate that Melissa put her dad’s infidelity out there – she can’t take it back but she can use that info to support her “victim” persona.

        • Donna says:

I read some where that Melissia has a half-sister that sings way better than her.

          • melthehound says:

That wouldn’t be very difficult 😉

            • plainviewsue says:

Howling!! Melissa knows that her attempts to derail Teresa, have her off the show and she being the star has failed. So she needs another storyline once the “fake” makeups happens.

So, now she will be the victim of a father (who in previous seasons she kissed the ground he walked on; cried her crocodile tears at the sound of his name) who cheated on her mother. A man who cannot defend himself to sell a book. Would anyone, ANYONE, buy this book?????

She is such a piece of sh*t, there are just simply no words.

Oh, and Donna, I think it was a cousin, but I could be wrong.

              • melthehound says:

Howling… THAT’S what she does 😀 I can’t say on the national geographic type shows that I’ve ever heard a hyena howl but now I have. Thank you PVS 😉

            • Laineylainey says:

              MTH, hahaha.

          • princesspindy says:

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! oh that is just priceless!!!

  13. Powell says:

BB, Lulu, MTH & AZGirl this is for you. 🙂

  14. Rebecca says:

After the PFS last year, Joey and Melissa were in their SUV to drive away. Jacqueline was going on and on about all her invisible friends telling her that Teresa set Melissa up. Joey asked her straight up, to her face, if she saw Teresa an d the bald guy plotting and laughing at the show. Jacqueline said YES. Joey then texted Teresa that she was dead to him.

Yes Jacqueline, you drunken bitch, YOU escalated this family feud to the point of no return. She is pure evil. After bilking her husband’s company’s vendors, including Susan B. Komen, out of $54 million, she gets no slack from me. I refuse to watch any scenes with her in them.

    • Amalfi says:

      Mute button is awesome.

Surprisingly, one of the the things I liked best about Jacqueline was her sweet princess voice. But the vulgarity that spews from her mouth these days — from Blorox (copyright credit to Stars) to all the filthy language — is enough even before you add in her many untruths.

    • Powell says:

Rebecca I don’t believe Jac saw anything. And if she did couldn’t that have been him just meeting Tre & them chatting for a few minutes? It doesn’t hardly make sense to me that Tre would plot & plan out in the open.

      • windycitywondering2 says:

Riddle me this – IF Wacky Jacky saw the set up plot then why didn’t she tell Melissa? Seriously, isn’t Melissa Wacky’s buddy?

        • chismosa says:

I think we’re treading into 4th wall/ camera territory there. It’s delicate and something production and/or Dandy wouldn’t want people to find out?

        • melthehound says:

Because that and everything since Columbus set sail from Spain, is all Teresa’s fault and woe is the person who says different.

    • plainviewsue says:

Amen Rebecca. And Teresa said in her blog that in addition to saying it to Joe’s face, Jac also texted JoeGo and said Teresa was behind the set up.

If someone says I am dead to them, then I am. Family/friend/whatever. Teresa’s girls have cousins from Joe’s side. Melissa’s girls are the ones missing out, having to hang out with Melissa’s much older and drunken sisters.

For those of you who haven’t watched any of the sneak peaks of tonight’s episode, the scenes between Teresa and Joe are rough. Very rough. Teresa tried to go over, play nice and that neanderthol just went Gorga nuts on her.

      I cannot stand him.

      • melthehound says:

“If someone says I am dead to them, then I am. Family/friend/whatever. ”

        Same here.

        • windycitywondering2 says:

Oddly enough – me too! And if they expected an “apology” well I would be LMAO!

    • seagirl45 says:

All of these NJ cast members seem on the shady side in their business dealings. Anyone know how Theresa and Joe are doing in paying off their $11 million debt?

  15. lizzle says:

Great Job Stars99… Jac’s comment about Gia’s grill rubbed me the wrong way due to the LOL added at the end of it. She has harassed the poor girl before, so I saw the comment in a negative light. Anyways, she would make a bad aunt… you don’t shave, but wax or laser off any unwanted hair… so thank goodness she can’t give her most excellent beauty tips to Gia. Gia would have a thick mustache by high school if she let Jac shave it.

    • Amalfi says:

Jac is such a toad. Was that on her blog “LOL”? Indeed. If she can mock a child’s issues, then I have no more qualms about mocking the rolls on her neck. I was not going to say that earlier, but when I do have her on mute, that is the only thing my eyes can focus on when she is doing a talking head.

      Two words, Jac: Lifestyle Lift.

      • chismosa says:

Amalfi, lol at the Caroline shaving idea! I thought that too

I notice the lines on her neck most. If Kimora Lee Simmons could get her terrible lines off (she was FAMOUS for those),I’m sure there’s something Jacq could do

I thought Lifestyle Lift is a little shady? My mother called them and it was such a scheme to get us to commit to stuff and give personal info

Plus, I thought people don’t care for Susan G Komen(sp?) foundation anymore because they don’t give two SCRATCHES if you have the diagnosis of breast cancer, they are just concerned with the “research” angle to stop it in the first place ? Maybe I’m remembering totally wrong

        • Amalfi says:

Oh…. I hadn’t heard about Susan G Komen – the only backlash I heard was when they defunded Planned Parenthood. That is too bad,

Some organizations are about awareness, but research and clinical studies are so important, the organizations I tend to support are those that help families who are suffering directly like Make a Wish — or even Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which does research but also helps families in need.

And I hadn’t heard about Lifestyle Lift being shady — lol.. the commercials are awesome and I love that Debbie Boone chick … I remember that movie from the 70s and not being allowed to see it – I had strict parents. If it is shady, then I would recommend it to Jac for sure.

        • mm in oc says:

The scandal with the komen foundation has to do with bloated executive salaries. They are primarily focused on preventative medicine. They set up mamograms in low income neighborhoods. They also focus on research. they have an initiative right now to collect breast tissue samples from women of various ages and races. If you are a women or color or age 60 or older please consider participating.

    • Amalfi says:

It must Manzo beauty advice that Jac adopted after marriage. Caroline has graduated to shaving her entire face daily as she told us in some past season.

      TMI ladies.

  16. Orson says:

Stars, you deserve a medal for taking the bullet to recap the blogs. Or at least a half dozen red flavoured lollipops. And you’re sick too? I prescribe some nice hot chicken soup.

Kim D seems to be the Faye Resnick of NJ
Poor Gia. There was the first brar shopping embarassment. Now the grill thing and her parents interrogating the boy she likes? The kid’s going to need therapy and that doesn’t seem to be a thing in this NJ Italian culture.
Oh, and Tre? 1. You don’t have to spell out the word “sex” in a blog and B, none of your children need or want you to be their BFFL. They need you to be their parent.

    • Amalfi says:

Kim D seems to be the Faye Resnick of NJ.

Yes! This. Except no one can truly be as disgusting as Faye Resnick, though Kim comes close.

  17. OK, maybe I have the reunions messed up, but I thought on the reunion that Kim D. kinda sorta owned up to the set-up and said Theresa was aware that something was gonna go down and it would be about Melissa. I found it so strange the number of times that Tre denied calling Mel a stripper, yet, we all heard her in her talking head on many occasions making this reference. I also don’t see what is so God awful horrible about being a “dancer”. This is Jersey after all (Home of the Bada Bing…oh Tony, I miss you so…but I digress).
And I will continue to cut Jac some slack…being a mom of a child with autism makes me see Jac as a bit broken. I think when the Posche show/reunion/reunion happened she was still a mom dealing with the huge news of having a child diagnosed with a disability. I liked Jac the 1st and 2nd season and then she got weird during season 3…now I know why. Just my two cents. I just want to see her little man reach his potential.
The whole My gym/Your gym is quite funny. I belong to a local gym and half the people there believe they own the place. It is an odd dynamic. I think Bravo is having a very hard time finding people to film/include Tre so they are scraping the barrel.
And I would like to share some cool news…while my daughter never “recovered” from Autism…we have learned how to LIVE with it 🙂 This week, she received her letter telling her she is now a Freshman Football Cheerleader for our High School! She had her uniform fitting and everything. Yes, there were some small accomodations to make this happen, but my girl wanted it and made it happen. She was at try outs last week and two senior girls kept watching her. They could see Kate was a little behind and was trying to keep up. These girls…totally on their own…put Kate in between them and taught her the cheers…one step at a time. they didn’t do it for a pat on the back or to advance themselves, they saw someone who could use a little help and they took the opportunity. Having my daughter involved in these groups has not only changed her life but the lives of the other girls around her. I have seen compassion and empathy that gives me hope. If you have never talked to your kids about children who are differently abled, take this opportunity to let them know how much it will mean to the other child and in the end, may change their views also. I will step down from my soapbox! Have a great Sunday everyone!

    • Amalfi says:

Youre sweet to cut Jac some slack, and I would if she were capable of doing the same. Usually when your child is sick, you see it as a time to see how petty everything else is.

I am certain that I agree 100% with you that Jac is broken, but this is not new nor is she willing to fix it, even when the best reason of all for doing so is handed to her as a special gift from God (and folks, I mean sweet Nicholas, not Joey Gorga)

God bless that child and his mother. She needs off the show.

      • Rebecca says:

Myself – can’t. She assaulted someone before Nicholas. She punched her sil before Nicholas. She raised a daughter-horribly – before Nicholas. She has been draining her husband’s business dry before Nicholas. Just because she put up a pretty, innocent face doesn’t excuse her for being evil.

    • chismosa says:

Congratulations on your daughter — that is wonderful and sounds like so much fun for her!

    • melthehound says:

Go ahead and jump up and down on your soapbox. That’s a great story 😀

    • plainviewsue says:

God bless you & your beautiful daughter.

But I will never be able to excuse Jacq’s behavior. I don’t know if you are twitter, but for a long long long time, she would non stop vile tweets about Teresa. She would also send DM’s to people trashing Teresa, and then block that person (I was the recipient of one of those DM’s).

Why take all of your frustrations out on someone who was once your best friend? I think she and her family need to be off the show, but obviously they need the money.

She used Ashley for a storyline and now her precious Nicholas. She will be treated with kid gloves, because people will be afraid to upset her.

She has always had issues with anger. She even said once a long time ago that she’s doesn’t always play nice.

Teresa and Danielle know a lot of Jac’s secrets, a lot of her past. I give them both credit for not going against the girl code and tell everyone the Manzo/Laurita secrets.

    • Powell says:

Story Congrats to your daughter! It’s always exciting for girls to become cheerleaders. It’s a great accomplishment. I bet this will continue her quest for whatever she wants to do. Good for the girls that helped her.

    • missusmc says:

We all wish Nicholas the best. Really. And I don’t think anyone’s judging Jac based on this season, or last, alone. I think Jac has always been emotionally unstable. She cried her way through the first season (for good reason) and flip flopped her loyalty based on who she was with at the time. She cried her way through the second, third, and fourth seasons, presumably because of Ashley/Ashlee. Now she is crying through the fifth season, because of Nicholas. Autism or not, it must suck to have your mother crying on national TV because she wants you to be different. It must also suck to see your mom play these games, and swear on your autistic life that something is true at the reunion (when it’s probably not, even). Her twitter feed is nonsensical and she really seems to be a wreck.

Awesome news about your daughter! I love hearing success stories, and your family seems to be such a success! I know a little of how much hard work your daughter and you have had to get where you are. Amazing!

    • TexasTart says:

Wonderful message. Congrats to your daughter! 🙂

    • lori says:

Congratulations to your daughter! What a beautiful story thank you so much for sharing!

      • ms molli says:

That really was an exceptionally beautiful story!! Hugs and kisses to your daughter and congratulations!! Love hearing good stories.

    • trudie says:

The story about your daughter brought tears to me eyes! I do believe that there is hope. Back in September, I related to the blog family how my niece with Down’s Syndrome (who has been mainstreamed her whole life) was named Homecoming Queen by her senior class. As proud as I was of my niece, I was even more proud of her classmates for the compassion they showed to her.

      Blessings to your daughter.

    • Laineylainey says:

So cool about our daughter!! Congrats!

  18. windycitywondering2 says:

Hope you are feeling better Stars – buckle up buttercup cause tonight’s episode is going to be epic. (but not in a good way)! So some things I saw include:

Melissa publically disrespected Nonni by calling him a liar (saying Mel didn’t visit), just like she did to her own father by spilling his infidelity during her “I can write a real book” upcoming scene. And I asked a friend who has been an RN in ICU for over 20 years – NO KIDS in the rooms – they have to stay in the waiting area.

Kim D and Linda are what we wondered about last season – when was Teresa going to get friends to talk to about what is happening without the constant ambushes by C/M/J/K and their assorted spouses, children or siblings…. And Kim’s job is to push the storyline – so whatever she says is to that end. She is the messenger and she seems to know the dirty on everyone.

Joe Gi talking to his daughter was wonderful from my perspective, regardless of the content. I sure as hell talk to my sons about girls and what they want!

Everyone called the gym theirs! Mel called it her gym in her talking head. No biggie here.

During JoGo’s swan song scenes and while Mel was getting ready to go to the party – too much information in front of Antonia about JoGo’s illness and how bad his sister is and not taking shit from anybody (give it right back – not what I taught my kids). Mel knew that all the crap she had been throwing at Teresa might come back to her at Gia’s party – don’t dish it if you can’t take it. And we are finally seeing the Gorga kids act like kids – from Poopyhead with a Hot Pepper chaser to hitting each other to Antonia standing on the edge of the tub to see herself in the mirror.

Wacky Jacky is finally back! I was getting tired of the weepy mother of the year performance. I want Nicholas to be the best Nicholas he can be, just not on tv. Some people don’t talk about their financial situations and T’s was in every tabloid – so Wacky thinking Teresa should have shared her family’s personal information as a reason she isn’t friends anymore or saying she didn’t help set up Teresa or her brother – lame plus infinity! She so needs to get over Teresa. She dumped T and T moved on, end of story! She needs to find a new obsession!

Caroline – she is lost. She is trying to find a new life near her sons. IMO, her master plan to get Al to live in Hoboken by letting her sister turn their home into a petting zoo probably won’t work. She knows viewers are tired of her meddling in the Guidice/Gorga family dynamic. Her twisting what Teresa actually said or meant just negates any “advice authority” she may think she has! Butt out Clown – this won’t help you sell your real advice not a cook book book.

Apologies – after last year’s season of Teresa apologizing to everyone for everything – IMHO, she doesn’t have to apologies anymore to anyone. I will be surprised if any of the cast, their assorted spouses, deranged siblings or nasty spawn take responsibility for how they treated Teresa for the last two seasons and offer her a genuine, sincere apology.

Not looking forward to another Teresa vs lil bro hurt fest. Don’t care about the clown’s meat balls or any other Manzo balls. Wish Melissa didn’t disrespect her late father and don’t understand what he has to do with her bible on marriage either. When will the “we are family” scenes begin and get us to the season happy ending some of the cast is eluding to in their blogs?

Sorry this was so long and GO BLACKHAWKS!

  19. melthehound says:

Great writeup Stars 😀 Would you care to blog the show as well? (j/k)

I believe Joey was sick and I believe it could have been at the same time as his father. I do not believe that he was sick on the show however. That is, what we saw. I don’t care who went to see who or when. My problems with MeGo in this situation are, in less than a week’s time, she couldn’t remember what day it was. The next day or 3 or 4 days later. Pretty big span and what makes it worse, she said the day after then changed it to 4 days at the party. A party that was held the same week. If it had been months I could understand the confusion (perhaps). Second, she claims (near the end of the the show in TH) that Joey ‘took’ his father to the hospital. It’s right there, on tape. Liar Liar Panties On Fire. She can’t keep her stories straight.

The ‘my gym’ thing… I’m sure Teresa meant it’s the gym she goes to and nothing more. It doesn’t bother me a bit that she said it and I understand what she meant by it. I think people are making a mountain out of a grain of sand getting their drawrs in a bunch over that.

Kim D… No words except that whenever you see her, you know there is going to be trouble. Whenever you see her at an event, doubly so.

As for Jac wanting to tell 12yo GIa to shave her ‘grill’… I wonder if she would tell Gia about the Blorox bleach process as well? Perhaps show her how to hold a wine glass in one hand and type/text with the other. I’m sure there is plenty that ‘Aunt’ Jacqueline could teach Gia.

  20. AZGirl says:

Good morning everyone! Stars you are the bomb! Thank you for the wonderful recap. Hope you start to feel better.
@Powell: Those knee caps are too cute. What a great idea!
I can’t imagine what Gia is going through with all the crazies she has to put up with. Gia is the only adult on the show. Milania will rule Jersey.
I don’t know if I can watch this show tonight. To me it is just so sad.

    • lillybee says:

I really felt sorry for Gia.

      • Powell says:

Lillybee they all read the comments on their blogs & they read here & other blogs. Viewers & non-viewers constantly say how bad they feel for the younger kids on tge show and the supposed adults just don’t get it & realize, “the viewers have a point. We shouldn’t have the kids on the show this way”. They aren’t doing their kids any favors.

  21. HuskerHuny says:

I had a great day yesterday with my boys – my husband, son and two good family friends. We made our annual trek to Missouri to get our fireworks for the upcoming holiday. It’s something my family has done for the past 28 summers. It’s only a 90 minute drive. I think about what we did and compare it to the ‘outings’ that these housewives have with their families. I love my simple life and easy ways that my family amuses itself. I wouldn’t trade any of it for the money(?), fame and implied creature comforts that these women pretend to have. Give me a sparkler, a colorful smoke bomb and my family around me and I’m queen of the world! And it only cost me a quarter!

    • BB says:

I love those family traditions. Treasure them while you have them. Some of ours are no longer because certain family members have passed on. But we are creating some new ones along the way.

    • Mene Seela says:

HH that sounds fun. My dad used to buy the large variety pack. We’d start with the sparklers and graduate to the showy stuff.

My favorite was something called Cigar Charlie. A cardboard figure of a bum with a fat sparkler/cigar type thing in his mouth, when it got close to his face it exploded. We all screamed our heads off. LOL.

      • Powell says:

We did too Mene. I haven’t done fireworks in a long time since I lived in DC. Personal fireworks are not allowed in MD. One of my cousin’s daughter asked our aunt if she can do fw at her house so we will have a cookout & do fw later. It is so much fun.

    • AZGirl says:

HH in AZ you are allowed to purchase fireworks (not the big ones) anywhere. Even at the grocery store. BUT you are not allowed to shoot them off due to the fire dangers here in AZ. Make sense right? Arizona lawmakers are all on crack.

    • melthehound says:

I’m sure you know to be careful. Here’s a fun picture from Memorial day… Fireworks that leave the ground, move, or pack more punch than a small firecracker are illegal here. We have to go to Indiana or Ohio to buy them though, the laws are pretty relaxed in the more rural areas. Mobile FW stands and such..

That’s a bottle rocket in his hand. 3 seconds later, it exploded. Note what’s in his left hand. Just sayin.. Be careful.

      • Powell says:

        I am not looking.

        • TexasTart says:

It was stupid, but not gross. I do not like fireworks unless they are a professional display. My dogs HATE fireworks. No surprise there. I don’t appreciate people posing a fire and people/drunks who do fireworks constantly to 2am. HuskerHuny, I am sure you and others know how to enjoy this responsibly, but a great number of people do not and I have had the misfortune of being exposed them.

          • TexasTart says:

            *fire risk*
I was hoping they would be banned in my county because it is drier than a popcorn fart.

            • iceNfire says:

Hi TT – I don’t like fireworks either, my Husband used to buy the quarter sticks in China Town before we had dogs. Those things scare the hell out of me, way too loud!
I posted links to bravo blogs here during BH b/c I knew some of you couldn’t get to them on your phones. I’m not really into the other blogs on bravo site but will try to remember to post links here for you 🙂

          • HuskerHuny says:

There’s always someone in the crowd that ruins it for the rest TT. In my town we can shoot fireworks six days prior to and on the 4th of July. We can shoot until 11 p.m. on those nights and up until 12 midnight on July 4. Never do we shoot past those deadlines, we sweep up the street in front of our house after we’re done and if it’s been particularly dry (like last year) we really watch what we send up and always have a garden hose handy. We are uber safe and use fireworks respectfully.

I know how some pets really have a rough time this time of year with all of the noise. But I love celebrating my country and my freedom with my family and friends. I only do it once a year for less than a few hours. God bless the USA! You’re invited TT on July 2 to my house and I promise you’ll have a good and safe time!

            • TexasTart says:

Thank you! I’m sure it would be a good experience! I like the part about tradition tied to it and y’all have a blast! 😛

        • melthehound says:

No people or pets were harmed Powell.. Fireworks, beer, and my nephew, not a good mix is all.

      • lillybee says:

Fireworks are not legal in my county but just go 30 miles down the road and there are fireworks stands all over. Both counties are in a high fire danger area and there are grass or brush fires almost every day.

      • Laineylainey says:

I thought it was a sparkler

  22. princesspindy says:

Oh Stars…. ****She actively joined in the reindeer games*** I had to stop reading cuz I kept giggling, so I had to take a moment and compose myself…too funny…now of course that song will probably be stuck in my head all day, lol!! They all suck!! Great Job!!!

  23. BB says:

Darned that autocorrect! Caution – do not drink anything while reading the attached. Warning – naughty words accidentally used.

    • TexasTart says:

HIlarious! 😆 Chicken fajitas, lol. Thanks, BB.
That is a good example of why I turned of predicatible typing and auto correct on my phone!

    • princesspindy says:

      SOOOOOOOoooo funny!!!!

    • Powell says:

Oh BB those are good. I thought we had some funny auto corrects. Esp the ones where they kept typing the same word again.

    • Laineylainey says:

    • ladebra says:

Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard, I have tears rolling down my face! Thanks for the best laughs in ages! I curse autocorrect at least once a day, but these are priceless!

  24. TexasTart says:

I know we have some people that like Caroline…

    • melthehound says:

Will the pig be there? Because that’s the only one I would be interested in seeing. The 4 legged one that is (in case you count the 4 legs on the manzoids as being part of the same animal..).

      • TexasTart says:

      • plainviewsue says:

Ha Ha!! Frannie tweeted something about not understanding all the hatred to twitter towards people. Caroline responded by saying people don’t have lives, yada yada yada.

Needless to say, Miss Frannie (who I happened to like & thought was very sweet) was BOMBARDED with tweets about the hateful tweets her SIL Jacq & her niece Lauren have sent out.

  25. TexasTart says:

  26. ladebra says:

Nene and Greg got married last night. Woohoo.

    • ladebra says:

Marysol (and the article says JZ!!) was there

    • TexasTart says:

      Woohoo – deep.sacracasm. But ima gonna look…..
.so the link in the first post said Nene married her fake ex-husband Greg – made me laugh! There is also a copy of the program for the wedding that lists family members, etc. and it says “Playa Leakes – dog of the bride and groom.” Totally made me laugh out loud! 😆
      Good link, LAdebra, thanks!

      • HuskerHuny says:

I just read (I think on MSN) about Nene’s star-studded wedding and the guests they mentioned were Jill Zarin, Gretchen Rossi and Omarosa. Wowzee – that’s some list of stars. They actually used the words star-studded. This charade just keeps getting funnier and funnier!

    • Laineylainey says:

Their wedding party card? Nene or some one wrote ” I choose…” Seems to that she should have written “I chose..” I could be wrong but the rest of the sentence was in past tense.

    • Powell says:

Nine bridesmaids & groomsmen. Cynthia & cough, cough Marla were bridesmaids & Peter a groomsman. I bet Marlo begged to be a bridesmaid.

  27. Laineylainey says:

Stars, enjoyed reading your blog about the blogs. Your blogs blog. You made some really good points about hospital-gate. Whenever I think about the blog blogs, it reminds me of the lawyer from arrested development…Bob loblaw. Have you seen the “ads” for his practice? Try this:

His ad appears below the picture of the .Bob loblaw law blog t shirt.

Anyway, thanks for the blog blogs…especially since you are sick. I would go see you, but I have a sore throat; I might visit youon the 12 th day. I have dropped everything and will come see you then…you know cause of my sore throat, in the meantime I ‘ll go work out and tape a segment of a reality show, you know, cause of my sore throat and all.

  28. I don’t care about either “Team” so I have no agenda.
ICU…. Knowing my Mom was dying my Aunt, her sister, had to stay away because her own health would’ve been in jeopardy if she came to see her. My Mom was in a coma and on a breathing machine. She didn’t SEE anyone who came. I have never held that against my Aunt and 10 yrs later I still miss my Mom. Bottom line is doing put your health or the person you want to vists in jeopardy just to show love and support. I’d rather get a call and know you care than see you and one of us dies because of a perceived backlash because of not showing up.
I don’t own my gym, but I love to people watch. Some of those “skinny bitches” sound like elephants running on the treadmill. You’d think they’d be able to run without making that much noise.
Back to reading my new book, Wheat Belly by William Davis
    {{{HUGS }}} Blessings my Friends,

  29. Powell says:

Is anyone going to watch Celebrity Wifeswap ABC 8 pm EST? I haven’t watched since S1 but Joan Rivers will probably be as funny as ever. Whodunit ABC @9. I’m definitely .watching that. I hope its good.

    • TexasTart says:

Well, you know I love Joan, but Wife Swap…seriously?! 🙄 Seems a bit ridiculous, but I might channel flip there and to Whodunnit between Wallenda’s tightrope walk.

    • HuskerHuny says:

Love me some Joan – I’ll be watching! So much on tonight – Food Network Star, HGTV Next Designer, RHNJ and then Big Brother will be on next week. Sundays will be full for the next several weeks. Plus I also like Resale Royalty on Style TV. What to do?

    • iceNfire says:

hi Powell – Thanks for posting! I always forget to check tv listings. Whodunit is a season 1 episode 1 so I’m watching

  30. iceNfire says:

Hello – Just started reading and saw this – “Perhaps I’m weird, but I’m not so sure I would want my very young kids to visit someone in the hospital – especially if there are tubes involved.”…
Long time ago I was at the hospital with my very young kids for some reason and got on the wrong elevator. The doors opened and a nurse wheeled in a patient in a hospital bed. One of my little darlings asked the nurse “Is he ready to die?”…..I thought I was going to die #speechless

  31. Amalfi says:

There is something to look forward to (gag!) — happened in late Mar/early Apr of this year and will be on the show. Here – I dislike Radar online so I’ll summarize.

Yet another stranger (named Jonathan Karagiorgisa) pops by at Posche store opening (that Kim woman and her Bravo deal must be something else) and Joe confronts him about tweeting gossip about Melissa and when Joe asks where he gets these rumors, of course he says “ask your sister”.. then Chris Laurita confronts him about tweeting that he and Jac made up the autism diagnosis and things get violent.

And of course, violence ensues. And it is again, all Teresa’s fault.

Dang — rerun of last year. I can’t stomach this shyte much longer.

    • Amalfi says:

But on the other hand, I will be very interested if Jacqueline finds the magical cure for autism that she is searching for…

  32. NJBev says:

@Starrs99, another great blog. I really enjoyed reading it.
You really do seem to have a handle on where all these Ladies
(I use the term lightly, lol) are coming from-
I didn’t realize that Jac was the one to provide inaccurate info-
    -learn something new everyday!

  33. the grill comment was unusual for me too. i honestly think gia is more comfortable having a conversation like that with joe over teresa. it seems gia is way more embarrassed of mom rather than dad. for one thing, he doesn’t act goofy and well, as embarrassing as tre. and with him being the only male in a house full of girls, i can see joe being really good for a father to daughter girl talk. that is the only thing i can think of for why they see nothing weird about having that conversation on national television. oh, and i’m sure gia has kissed before. i was 13 when i had my first “wet kiss” and i was a late bloomer.
