Real Housewives of Orange County Cast Blogs Blogged Part 2

real-housewives-of-orange-county-season-8-wedding-dress-shopping-04Gate has already been covered. Here’s the other stuff.

HEATHER “My Life is So Great” DUBROW

Heather wishes she lived closer to Tamra’s new fitness center.  (I’m sure she would be there daily if she did.)

The balance is back in Heather and Terry’s marriage and lives.  (That’s because Terry is towing the line with Heather – “Yes, dear.  You are wonderful, dear.  Whatever you say, dear”, etc., etc., etc.)

Heather wants to make sure we know she said “inner corset,” not intercourse.  (Heather would never be so crass as to say intercourse on the show or in private.  I sometimes wonder how she managed to get pregnant and have four kids.)

Heather thought it unnecessary and inappropriate for Lauri to discuss Brooks with Vicki while dress shopping.  (I agree.)

Heather was a guest-host on Good Day LA July 3rd, and one of the guests was Fabio Viviani, her “fabulous restaurant partner.”  (OK, I remember last year there was talk that Heather and Fabio were going to open a restaurant in the Newport Beach area, but I couldn’t find any current information about it, although I didn’t really search that hard.)

TAMRA “I Hope This Third Marriage Takes ‘Cause I’m Tired of Changing My Name” JUDGE

Tamra says her new fitness studio is one of the largest group fitness studios of its kind, and the first five classes are free.  (Does she mean one of the largest of its kind in the whole wide world or just in OC?)

Tamra wants to clarify that, at first, she was going to dis-invite Alexis from her dress shopping day at Gretchen’s request.  Then she changed her mind because it was HER day and she wasn’t going to let Gretchen tell her who she could or could not invite.  (So there, Gretchen!)

On Wedding Dress Shopping Day, Tamra was a little shocked to see Gretchen … “in a bright red jacket with no dress on underneath (it was winter and raining) and with an engagement ring on her left ring finger. It screamed ‘everyone look at me.’” Tamra had not seen Gretchen wear that ring in four years, yet she chose to wear it the day Tamra went wedding dress shopping.  (Gretchen is totally wishing it were she and Slade who got engaged in Bora Bora and got the wedding spinoff instead of Tamra and Eddie and seems she’s trying to take the spotlight off of Tamra.)

Although Tamra cried when she tried on the last dress, she did not choose it because it was not age or color appropriate for her.  (If I remember correctly, Tamra took her vows in the very first dress she tried on in the episode, the one with the ropey things that flared out at the bottom.)

Tamra doesn’t want to give too much away, but she questions why Lauri brought up the Brooks thing with Vicki.  She thinks Lauri was talking in circles and doesn’t know if Lauri was trying to be a friend or trying to hurt Vicki.  (I think we all know the answer to that one.)

Tamra is in the process of changing her name to Tamra Judge.  (That’s “normally” what happens when you get married, at least it used to be that way back in the day.)

ALEXIS “I Need More Air Time” BELLINO

Alexis was impressed and happy that Tamra stood up to Gretchen about inviting her dress shopping because after all, it was TAMRA’S day.   (I wonder if Alexis knew at the time, Tamra was initially ready to concede to Gretchen’s demands.)

Alexis thinks Gretchen seems confused … about life, because when she got in the limo and said she and Alexis weren’t really getting along at the time, Alexis flashed back to the hug goodbye at the Salsa party and wonders what the heck that was.   (Well, that was just Gretchen being baffling.)

Alexis doesn’t like or dislike Gretchen, she is simply indifferent and can be in the same room with her and not be effected by her.  Just because Alexis wants sincere, real, loyal people in her inner circle doesn’t mean she can’t be cordial to everyone in the group.  (Now, Alexis, you know you are not playing by Andy’s rules when you get along well with others like that.)

When Vicki pulled Alexis aside and said that Gretchen said she wasn’t going to come if she attended, she got a little angry inside. But there is a time and a place to act on it. This day was about Tamra, and bottom line, Tamra chose to invite Alexis in the end.  Gretchen’s pity party didn’t work and that was enough for Alexis. (There you go again, Alexis, taking the high road and thereby not playing by Bravo’s rules.)

Alexis thought it was the worst timing for Lauri to deliver the news to Vicki about Brooks.  Whether true or a rumor, wrong time and place, and should have been done with Vicki alone.  (But then, that would not have had quite the effect Lauri was looking for now would it?)

Alexis says we need to book our SkyZone (Anaheim and San Diego) visits online because they often sell out.

GRETCHEN “I’m confused, or baffled, or SUN-THIN” ROSSI

In her first paragraph, Gretchen uses the phrase “point of view” three times.  She wants us to understand her point of view (twice) and we all have different points of view, and if we don’t like long blogs, we just need to skip hers.  (I wanted to, but alas, I always fulfill my obligations and I promised to blog these blogs.)

This episode took Gretchen on an emotional spin and it sincerely hurt her heart.  She felt naïve, taken advantage of, and played.  (She was definitely taken advantage of and played, but she kind of asked for it by showing up naked under a rain coat, wearing her dead boyfriend’s engagement ring, and then not participating in the festivities.)

Gretchen slams Eddie for calling her childish because she didn’t want Alexis at the dress party or to be anywhere near her, but a few weeks earlier he was telling Tamra she shouldn’t go anywhere near the lying, cheating, and manipulative Vicki, who could not be MANAMANOUS in her own marriage.  (So Gretchen is lumping Alexis into the same category as Vicki?  Gotta love Gretchen’s skewed “point of view” about things.)

Gretchen goes into great detail how shady she thinks it is that Tamra met with Alexis and kept it a secret from her.  She’s totally baffled at the whole making up with Alexis thing.  (Well, I was totally baffled when Gretchen made nice with Tamra after all the past crappy things she did to her, so call us even.)

Gretchen wants to know why she’s being called self-centered and egotistical when she wanted nothing to do with Alexis, when at the same time, Heather was not wanting to go to the Salsa Party or dress shopping if Alexis were going to be there, the same as her.  (Well, because I guess Gretchen didn’t know about the “Friendship Summit” between Heather and Alexis that was brokered by Lydia.  Had Gretchen been nicer to Lydia, perhaps she would have offered her “friend whisperer” services and brokered a “Friendship Summit” between Gretchen and Alexis.)

Gretchen has worn her ring from her dead fiancé many times and you can go look at prior film footage and pictures to prove it.  (No, thanks, because I don’t really care enough about it to take the time to do it.)

The girls were gunning for Gretchen that day no matter what she wore (or didn’t wear).  (I kind of have to agree when they pulled up to Gretchen’s house, they were gunning for bear, especially Vicki, but I guess Gretchen doesn’t see a comparison between her situation and what happened to Alexis last season.)

Gretchen writes three paragraphs talking about Cheeseburger-gate.  Slade doesn’t bash all women, just Vicki and Tamra, and that was only in retaliation for those two bashing Slade for years.  And Slade was only pointing out what the press was saying about them, not what he personally felt (so that makes it OK, don’t you know).  The funniest line of this whole issue was when Gretchen wrote, “Seven hundred thousand women a day listened to his radio show and if he was truly a “woman basher” then those women sure wouldn’t listen or stay tuned in.”  (I’ve come to the conclusion that Slade “Spork” (thanks Rebecca) Slimy could commit capital murder or be a serial killer, and Gretchen would come up with some kind of crazy rationale to make it A-OK with her.)

Gretchen wants us to stay tuned; she’s learned with this group to never say something you don’t have the ability to prove because at some point you are going to get questioned about it.  (It took Gretchen a while, but she finally learned this after so many seasons of being “housewife”, though she’s never been married on the show.  I can’t wait for the reunion because I have the feeling she’s going to come prepared.  Whether she can hold her own against this group remains to be seen.)

Gretchen feels Tamra let outside influences ruin their friendship, but she’s not totally surprised it happened.  This all happened six months ago and they’ve talked a lot of things through, but it still hurts Gretchen to watch it.  (Apparently it’s not all water under the bridge or I think Gretchen would have been in Tamra’s wedding like Vicki and Heather.)

Gretchen keeps getting this ridiculous question on social media.  The question is:  “Now that it seems like the tables have turned with Tamra again, are you sad you dumped Alexis for Tamra?”  (I don’t think that’s such a ridiculous question personally.)  Gretchen wants those who are asking that question to get SUN-THIN straight.  She never dumped anyone for anyone.  Each of her relationships with the women has nothing to do with another friendship she might or might not have.  Her choosing to step back from her friendship with Alexis had nothing to do with Tamra.  (Then why doesn’t she tell us the reason?  I guess it has nothing to do with the fact that Alexis was the only woman on the show at the time who would be friends with Gretchen.  I find it hard to believe that, after Gretchen became friends with Tamra and Heather, Alexis suddenly developed these deep flaws that Gretchen could no longer tolerate.  I always thought their friendship was a “fair weather” one anyway.  They had nothing in common from the get go.  Oh, I see that later Gretchen alleges things occurred between her and Alexis that we don’t know about.  Isn’t that always the case when things can’t be explained?)

Gretchen doesn’t regret trusting Tamra again (I’ll bet) because if she hadn’t, she would have never learned why Tamra is the way she is and it’s helped her not take things so personally.  (That’s why Gretchen wrote a 9-page blog about how the girls, especially Tamra, raked her and Slimy over the coals this episode.  But she didn’t take it personally.)

Gretchen is headed to Bass Lake this week to spend time with her family and friends.  I hope there’s no FLANDERING or INDISCREPANCIES going on there.

That’s it for the OC blogs this week.  I hope EVERYONE has a SAFE and HAPPY 4TH OF July weekend.

  1. Powell says:

Good morning everyone. I hope you had a great 4th.

AZGirl its good the fire is 80% contained. Hopefully that will all be out soon. I hope no one had any friends or family at the fireworks display in California. So many people were injured. I hope they will be ok.

JNNTJ did everyone survive your 4th backyard blowout? I’m sure you had a great time.

Everyone relax to recover from your fun day yesterday. Have a good one.

    • AZGirl says:

Good morning Powell. Monsoon rains have helped the fires. Looks like the Yarnell evacuees are able to return to whatever is left. Some of the Peeple Valley residents are still at the Prescott Highschool.

    • not THAT Jill says:

Powell-we survived and had a great day despite the HEAT!!!! How was your day? Hope you enjoyed your beers!!!!!

      • Powell says:

I am glad the heat didn’t stop the party at your house & everyone had a good time.

I had fun & I did enjoy my beers. I forgot to take my hotdogs & hot links so i didn’t get to enjoy a burnt hotdog but I did have a hamburger & other food. I don’t know about anyone else but I can only eat Nathan’s or Hebrew National hotdogs. All other brands taste too salty. My cousin was cooking Ball Park. I can’t eat those. Next time I won’t forget my hotdogs.

    • Laineylainey says:

Good morning! Have a great Friday. I slept in…I love to sleep in.

  2. Powell says:

Thank you BB. Your blog was sun-thing. LOL. I just had to do that. I was reading it going “Sun-thing?”. You funny lady. 🙂

  3. AZGirl says:

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a great 4th. We took Pepper to obedience school and she was awful. I was so embarrassed. She does excellent in the “training” part but fails in humans and canine. She was snarling and lunging at the other dogs and their owners. Chris the trainer was really good with her but she is just really fearful.
    I was almost in tears.
Get to stay home from work! YEA! Hope everyone is safe from the storms in the SE and fireworks in Simi Valley.

    • BB says:

AZGirl. Don’t be embarrassed by your girl. I have one just like that, but other people still seem to think he’s cute and adorable anyway. There’s always a dog out there worse than yours – lol!. I got a trainer to come to the house because he didn’t do that well in the “group” atmosphere. Now that he’s over two years old, he’s calmed down and much, much better. Since we’ve brought him down to the beach and exposed him to many more people and dogs and constant activity going on, he’s gotten better because he’s more accustomed to it. He still has his moments but I don’t stress about it that much anymore. He is who he is.

    • Powell says:

AZGirl I’m sorry Pepper didn’t do so well this time but like you said she’s fearful so maybe she just needs more time. I couldn’t help but to laugh when you said she was awful. I can imagine the look on your face. All in all I hope you had a great 4th.

      • AZGirl says:

I told Chris the trainer I was going home and taking some of the Melatonin that I got for the dog due to fireworks.

  4. Tracyshea says:

I don’t read the blogs just wait for the recaps. So I have a question. Did she mention ” I was offered the part, no I was offered a part” in her blog?

    • Powell says:

Tracyshea I’m w/you. I don’t need their blogs either. I much prefer the recaps. I can’t wait for the reunion to here Gretchen’s “I was offered the part” speech. I in no way believe her. I believe fancy pants all that Heather Dubrow.

  5. Tracyshea says:

Oops, I see the title. Never mind my dumbo!

  6. plainviewsue says:

Thanks for bringing the laughs this morning BB!!!!! Great job on the blogs.

  7. Ladebra says:

Hope everyone had a great 4th! My friend that does my hair was at Simi with her family, but I checked in with her this morning and they are fine. Hope no one you know was hurt. Just awful, freak accident thing. I’m in the midst of moving, working, and stressing out about everything.

May all of you enjoy a long weekend with friends and family!

  8. TexasTart says:

Thanks for the blog! Great nicknames for them all, BB! Back to work. Seems a lot of people are getting 4 days off – enjoy!

  9. princesspindy says:

Hey BB, thanks for the recap, I hate to admit that I read all 9 pages of Gretchen’s blog…..She really twists things, not just pronunciations….

My heart and prayers go out to the people of Simi Valley, we lived there for 18 years, both my kids were born there and it is a very tight community…found out about the Fireworks accident this morning on FB….life is so delicate, tell your loved ones that you love them, today!!!!!

Oh, I posted this on FB yesterday so I will post it here….this was my 4th~~~~~~

So my poor hubby had to do a Sophie’s Choice today(Yesterday)….does he let his wife drive the truck home that has broken down and is now running or does he drive it and let her drive his Corvette home……he chose wisely and let me drive “His Baby”. I have only driven it once (in 12 years) and that was with him in the car and I was so nervous because I was afraid he might cry if I hit something….so never again after that……but this time I was all alone in that baby!!!! I haven’t driven a stick in decades but it all came back and I have to say
“WHOO HOO!!!” I think this is the beginning of a great love affair!!!

    • not THAT Jill says:

Ut OHHHHHHHH Mr PP is going to kick himself in the ass for his wise choice!!!!

      • princesspindy says:

LOL, he has created a monster… I had forgotten how much fun sports cars are to drive and this one is has a V8! I got it for him for his 50th Birthday…..I now understand the love he has for it. But ya know, he’s had it for 13 years now and he has always asked me if i wanted to drive it but seriously I did not want to see him cry! He keeps it covered, washes it every other week….takes it in on schedule, reminds me of The Mary Tyler Moore show when Mary brings in her car and the mechanics come out to meet her and shake her hand cuz she takes such good care of her car, lol!!

    • Powell says:

Watch out PrinceP. PrincessP is going to take your ride out for a spin and you’ll never know it. PrincessP you and your little Princess should do a Thelma & Louise except for the driving over the cliff part. 🙂

I hope your kids got to enjoy the4th. They both deserved to have some fun.

  10. Rebecca says:

Oh BB, you deserve a raise for deciphering that horrid blog of Gretchen’s. I read it and I still don’t have a clue how her mind connects two thoughts.

And if 700,000 women a day tune in to the Spork’s radio show, I’ll eat my hat.

    • AZGirl says:

Are you getting any rain up on the northside? Looks pretty dark from Tempe.

      • Rebecca says:

No. We’re in the weird vortex that never gets rain, but we get bursts of crazy wind. My uncle lives by the proving grounds and he is always getting rain during the monsoons.

  11. Nancy says:

My relatives arrive yesterday from Canada and guess where my sister took them last night?
Simi Valley fireworks! Everyone is ok thank God.

    Great blogs BB. Thank-you. 🙂

    • Powell says:

MTH that was awful. Those poor people. On the news they were saying some people have schrapnel type injuries.

      • melthehound says:

I’m sure this isn’t the first time that’s ever happened. This time, it can’t be blamed on some backyard drunken celebration.. It proves that if something goes wrong, these fireworks can go wherever they damn well please. I hope everyone, for the most part, is okay.. No limb loss or too severe burns, stuff like that.

      • Nancy says:

        Hi Powell,
My sister called all her nurses to come and help in the ER. She said it was pretty bad.

My relatives are at Universal Studios right now having a great time so hopefully last
night didn’t do too much harm on their holidays.

        • Powell says:

Those poor people. Like MTH said hopefully there are no lost limbs & severe burns.

I’m glad your family is having a great time. Hopefully the rest of their vaca remains drama free. How is your sis? She still continuing to get her strength back & get back to normal? I know she went back to work so I hope she’s still pacing herself.

          • Nancy says:

            Hi Powell,
She’s doing great thank-you and doesn’t need to take her heart medicine anymore. 🙂
My cousin and his wife are off to Malibu in the morning to visit my niece. Hopefully
it won’t be too hot. Then it’s off to Santa Barbara to see my other niece.

Are you having a nice holiday weekend so far?

  12. HuskerHuny says:

I’m resting up from the past three days of fireworks, food, family and FUN! I have to share with you my family’s favorite firework this year. It’s called Poopy Puppy and it cost a whole 79 cents. You light the wick and out of the puppy’s backside comes this black snake. In fireworks talk, a snake, when lit, turns into a long, ashy cord resembling a snake. We also had a chicken that when lit it blows a balloon out of its backside. Yes, my family has a redneck sense of humor.

Ear update – it’s still plugged or infected or whatever you want to call it. I go back to the dr. on Tuesday and then to a specialist. It’s been more than three weeks now and I so hope that this isn’t permanent damage. Wish me luck! The pressure is really getting to me.

Happy Friday and bring on the weekend!

    • Powell says:

Husker you all had a good time. We used to have the snake or worm type of fireworks also when I was growing up. So much fun.

I hope the Doc can finally get your ear unplugged. I know its frustrating when I get water in my ear & it takes a few days to clear up & you’ve had 3 weeks of it. Hopefully its minor.

    • Laineylainey says:

Poopy puppy! Funny! Good luck with your ear, huny! That would be driving me nuts.

    • AZGirl says:

Ummmm I have my own poopy puppy.. 🙂

  13. lulu says:

Hello everyone!!! From the sound of things everyone seems to had a wonderful fourth. We took the boys to a firework display in our area. My first after each burst exclaimed “oh no!!!” after each one while aiden slept through it. Earlier that day my dh took the first to a pool party. A group of college girls were taking photos. When “mr personality” decides to walk into their picture posing and saying “cheese!!!” Suffice to say dh was mortified but the ladies thought is was cute and took photos with him. What can I say he’s a ladies man. 😉

Unfortunately despite 80 degree weather I came down with a cold!!!!! Ugh!!!!!

    • Powell says:

Aiden knew what he was doing sleeping thru the fireworks. “I have plenty time to see those things. I’m going to sleep.” LOL That’s good you all had fun.

So your little guy is a ladies man doing photo bombs. I bet he was cute. I hope you’re having a relaxing day.

    • Laineylainey says:

Was your firstborn a god sleeper like Aiden? My first…the slightest thing would wake him up. Oh and the house had to be cold. The second would sleep anywhere, under any conditions, and she could sleep through anything.

  14. lillybee says:

Cool wave here today, temp down to 99.

  15. AZGirl says:

What a great day! Got a lot done not having to go into work. FIL dumped a huge amount of family pictures on my doorstep before moving out of state. I just finished going through all of them and sorting them out to whom should get them.
Remember Mr. AZGirl is an only child and both parents were married over 5 times. I was able to sort out the pics accordingly. There are a few I was not sure about and I just tossed those. Hells Bells this was quite a job considering there are 4 step kids (and their offspring) and of course Mr. AZGirls nephews who have lost both parents.
BIL is having a BBQ next week and I will pass out all of the “packets” then.
On a funny note….I found some cards which were written years ago by some of the step-children to my FIL. They were all about how great he was lalalalala before he screwed them all over. I tossed those. They were pretty funny to read.
Glass of wine. Hopefully some rain tonight. Cujo….oops I mean Pepper is napping.

    • cusi77 says:

Azgirl_ You made my day with your post! Haa! I just can visualize the dilemma in which you went trough! Who is in speaking terms with who, How they are related. It is really funny! Can’t imagine how they do when there is a wedding or funeral! All being friendly and cordial. Like Yolanda with David’s ex-wives and kids.

I remember when you asked for Michelle in NY was having her baby, and IT was in the precise moment she deliver her beautiful son! Sorciere!

      • Powell says:

AZGirl is good cause I would have taken what I wanted, put the rest in a box & taken them to the BIL’s house & let them have a free for all. I don’t have time or patience for crazy family stuff anymore. We had drama today in my fam from the cookout yesterday. My cousin got our great aunt, my mom & her sisters aunt from her nursing home yesterday. She’s 95, can’t use stairs. My aunt whose house we were at has stairs. It was no problem for the few hrs to help her use the bathroom but at the end of the evening she needed to go back home. What happens she doesn’t go home. I had left. They thought my uncle was taking her home when he went to work since #1 he has a car, easy to get her in & out #2 its on his way to work. Well he had a ride to puck up. My other aunt’s son & daughter were there, they both have cars. We find this all out this morn that she didn’t go home & my aunt didn’t get one of her kids w/cars to take our aunt home. This elderly lady has to be taken up stairs by my cousin & one of his friends. My ass of family members do not think sometimes. I should have known there was going to be drama. She’s gone m now but people can be so stupid sometimes. I’m glad I can go to my own house. Family. Gotta love ’em. Stupid or not.

    • Powell says:

Don’t call Pepper Cujo. I’m coming to get her. You did the bathroom training. Check. Come on Pepper. 😀

    • melthehound says:

Forgive me if I am remembering it wrong, is this the same FIL you were looking forward to the day he left the state? (or was that someone else with that hope?)

  16. Ladebra says:

This is sooo off the wall. I’m watching People’s Court. I am AMAZED at the unmitigated stupidity that can exist. That’s just not fair to the rest of us.

    • Powell says:

Ost the lady that’s the judge? I like her, judge Mathis & judge Alex. Judge Judy has lost her marbles. I tried to watch her the other day but just couldn’t. She has no patience.

    • melthehound says:

I want judge Wopner back.. Is he still alive? I’d like to see Rusty (the bailiff) make a return too.. Probably both dead so it won’t happen. I do like Judge Judy but she’s too much into the camera I think…

In general, I agree with you Ladebra, the idiots they show on these court shows… Who needs HWs for a daily dose of moronic?

  17. Powell says:

Did anyone watch the new reality show on NBC at 8est called Siberia? I didn’t watch the beginning but these contestants are actually in Siberia. I don’t know what the winner gets but a cameraman was hurt and they put that on & a contestant is dead and the producer tells the others the guy is dead & asks them if they want to continue, anyone that doesn’tbwill get $5000. WTH kinda show is this?

  18. not THAT Jill says:

Hi all-hope you are all enjoying the weekend!! I feel like it’s already Sunday night-I’m exhausted!! I was at the pool all day today and I have a BBQ to go to tomorrow! The girls are in bed and sleeping-at 9:30 on Friday night!!! These long weekend are great fun!!
Hs anyone watched Whodunit??? Anyone know if it’s fake “reality”? I watched the first epi and kind of liked trying to figure out the crime. I’m going to watch the second epi now…I hope I still like it!!!
I watched the 2 episodes of Under The Dome-freaky!!! I hope it continues to be as interesting!!

    • Powell says:

I watch Whodunit. It’s not reality. It’s a game like live clue. In the end one of the houseguests will win $500k I think it is by solving who the killer is. I like it.

I really liked epi 1 of Under the Dome. I wasn’t feeling well the night epi 2 came on & I haven’t gone online yet. It looks like it will continue to be more interesting each epi.

      • not THAT Jill says:

I like the game play in Whodunit-I was just wondering if people are who they say and if the game is “real”-like not a total set up and they really have to figure everything out-Im so suspicious of all TV shows lately but I would totally go on a show like this..I always loved Clue!!!

    • Laineylainey says:

Hi! So glad you’re having a fun summer!

  19. lillybee says:

I just discovered BBC America’s show, Copper. It is really good. It is about a dectective in NYC’s five points area in the 1860’s. Five Points was pretty much an Irish ghetto then. Since some of my Irish great, great, great parents came to NYC during that time period, I think that they may have lived there.

    • ladebra says:

It takes place during the Civil War. I watch the series, I enjoy it. I like period shows, and this one is about an interesting period in our history.

      • lillybee says:

Back in the day, the apartment that I lived in was about 4 blocks away from that neighborhood.

    • ladebra says:

That looks like Jax (?) from Vanderpump Rules. Wasn’t he fake fired last season lol.

      • ladebra says:

I’m a little surprised/aghast that I know his name so easily. I must have paid way too much attention to that show!

        • TexasTart says:

Good luck with your move, LAdebra! 😀

        • Laineylainey says:

Oh, I am an openly admitted vPRules lover… Not lover,…LIKER…but still, I find it hilarious. The young people on the show don’t really playit know, it’s not pretending to be all serious like NJ with the family issues, the Laurita baby, etc. vPRules, is what the Manzos wish they were… Young, beautiful, sarcastic, playing it tongue in cheek…my daughter and I sat here and guffawed during most of the show. even the melodrama was funny. It’s like as they reality acted, or rather over-acted it’s like they knew we were in on the joke with them. I like the tone. Not sure if it’s intentional, but I do like the tone of it.

          • ladebra says:

I must say I enjoyed the show more after I accepted that everything was fake and scripted.

      • Laineylainey says:

Hi LA Debra..I think he fake quit.

    • Laineylainey says:

TT, I love all these tweets and instagrams you share with us. Those pics of Ana, her girls and LisaVP, wow…those are some good looking people!

  27. lulu says:

Good afternoon! Another miserable day for me with the summer cold from hell. Hoping no one in my house gets it. Put a huge damper on my weekend plans 😦 any quick will get rid of a cold remedies?

Azgirl Pepper sounds like my furry baby. Six years later he’s a keeper a snuggler, loves babies a little too much tries to french my baby when I’m not looking 🙂 give her a little time I’m sure her inner sweetheart will come out.

  28. AZGirl says:

Good morning everyone! Thanks for all the positive responses about Pepper. She actually had a “first” this a.m. We went for our morning walk and a woman that walks through the neighborhood was coming the opposite direction. She passed us on the same sidewalk and Pepper did not growl bark or snap. She did try and go for the heel of her shoe but I snapped the leash and she kept walking.

Found another box of pictures that FIL dropped off a few months ago and now I am done with sorting everything out. I mentioned that there were 4 step brothers but I forgot about their 2 1/2 sisters and their immediate families. I tossed ALL PICTURES WITH FIL AND THE STEP CHILDRENS MOTHER. I wonder if they will notice. None of them can stand FIL.

Another hilarious moment. I found a stack of pictures of FIL taken of himself after step children’s mother passed away.

FIL moved down near us and bought a house, new Escalade, golf cart etc. Basically blew through $500K in 2 years. Had pictures taken of him in front of the new house, the car, the golf cart and color copies made. I realized that he made all the copies for when he was trolling for a new woman (Which is when he met his now Wife No. 4 marriage No. 6) How vain is that. Tossed all those. What a moron. Some day I will write a book.

    • AZGirl says:

Oh I also found a picture of FIL with Wife No. 2 that no one can even remember her name. He married her after divorcing Mr. AZGirl’s mom (the first time). Rumor has it that FIL friends said not to marry her because she was a gold digger. Well they were right. She cleaned out his bank account and skipped town. HA!

      • princesspindy says:

That is so funny that no one can remember her name!!
Oh, maybe her name was Smart Cookie!

      • Powell says:

AZGirl your FIL’s life w/his wives is like one of those TV shows were the husband either spends, spends, spends, or he marries gold diggers. You should write a book. I think it would be good about a man.

    • Laineylainey says:

So funny about those pics. Pretty straightforward, though…please like me for my “things”. Can you imagine the kind of women that would attract? Oh yeah, you don’t have to imagine, that’s been your real life.

Good for Pepper and her good behavior during the walk. Do you take treats with you so that you can give her positive reinforcement when it happens? I had a crazy border collie. I took treats with me (cut them in half) so that when we were first learning how to take walks, I would stop and treat her for not trying to chase a car, not jump on people, being polite when we encountered other folks/dogs. It took awhile but it really helped my sweet Daisy (rIP)…she turned into the best walking partner.

      • AZGirl says:

We have a treat pouch when we go out. It snaps on the side of our shorts. Cut up the treats in 4ths. I try and go through all the training exercises. I really wish I had someone in the neighborhood who has a dog that would walk with us. I think that would make a huge difference.

        • Laineylainey says:

Does Pepper respond well to the positive reinforcement? Do you use a short leash? I never did official dog training, so she wasn’t a perfect little lady. Couldn’t really take her anywhere…but she did well on our land and well enough on our walks. She did ok when we took her to the vet. The parking lot freaked her out…so many cars (to chase). So many cars, so little time, such a short leash. As a member of the herding breed cars were her Achilles heel. She really wanted to herd every car. Fortunately, We live out in the country, maybe 3 cars drive by our house per day. We kicked a large basketball around to satisfy that herding instinct. does Pepper have any herding genes? :). Sorry for going on a Daisy tangent, this is supposed to be about Pepper. So when she graduates from her training will we have to call her Dr. Pepper? (Sorry couldn’t help myself). 🙂 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

          • AZGirl says:

LL she does listen and really responds to positive reinforcement. Definitely has herding instincts from the Australian Shepard in her. She fetches for hours. We have a huge yard so that is good. No worries about Daisy. I am having trouble comparing Pepper with Ruby. I need to stop that.

            • Laineylainey says:

Oh yeah, our Daisy was fetching from a very lung age. The beauty with a full sized basketball is that Pepper could “herd” the ball, push it Round with her nose, even if no one is out there with her. That was during her puppy days. We never really figured out how to get her to sit stop digging. Then one day she just stopped. About a year before she died, she started digging again. My husband would refill the holes, big ones, cause she would sit in them. Sometimes they were so deep, as we drove up we could only see her head poking out of the hole. We would laugh so hard. And I asked him once, why do ou refill them! She is just going to redig them? He said she got so much pleasure out of sneaking around and waiting for us to leave to dig those holes that he wanted to give her something fun to do. She was so old, he wanted to let her feel Like she was getting away with something. My husband is so sweet.

          • Powell says:

Oh that’s cute Lainey. Dr. Pepper. 🙂

      • Orson says:

A “crazy” border collie? You mean there’s another kind?

    • lulu says:

I’m sure your book will be a bestseller!! I will be the first customer!!! Your fil is a piece of work that’s forsure. What idiot marries a man who has been married that many times??

      • ladebra says:

Probably those same stupidos I was watching on People’s Court the other day!

      • AZGirl says:

Lulu you are so right! Both Mr.AZGirl and Mother of Step kids married this moron TWICE. That is why he has more marriages than wives.
Plus, WHAT WOMEN WOULD MARRY A MAN THAT NOT ONE INDIVIDUAL FROM HIS OWN FAMILY WOULD ATTEND THE WEDDING? When FIL married current wife no one from our family not even his own son went to the wedding. It was out of state but after 5 marriage I think my hubby had enough.

        • Nancy says:

(((MrAZGirl))) My sister and I couldn’t stand our fathers girlfriend so we tossed all the
pictures of them as well. Made us feel good. 🙂

        • chismosa says:

AZGirl- that is crazy stuff about your fil, hope you do get to write something. Maybe a piece in the Sunday Times’ “Modern Love” section. They always have nice freelance pieces.

  31. Powell says:

Hey everyone. Hope you’re having a great day.

  32. Powell says:

Whose been watching the Walking Dead marathon?

    • windycitywondering2 says:

Me…and now my husband is hooked too. In retrospect, this past season is my least favorite one of all of them!

      • Laineylainey says:

It was so intense – last season. So sad. However , on the plus side, Andrea is now gone. I did not like that character at all. Interestingly, when I saw her appeance/interview on Talking Dead..I found her to be rather humorless and Boring. I thought, oh Andrea was playing herself! Maybe she’s shy, who knows. I will say, she had one really amazing scene when she had to kill her sister. That was a great scene for that actress and that moment seemed to color everything for that character. The hair costme and makeup people keep it pretty real with everyone, but Andrea. It seems Andrea never got roots, her hair was ceramic barrel curled sometimes, hair product keeping every hair in place; that always cracked me up. Come to think of it, the perfect hair was most noticeable when she was living in that town. They had electricity, right? Thus the ceramic curling iron. Hah!

        • windycitywondering2 says:

Never like Andrea – from her first scene of jamming her gun at Rick! And she definitely has the best hair, make up and clothes!
Do you really think she is gone? I hope so, but I think she will get saved (hopefully not at the expense of another core character).

          • Laineylainey says:

She is gone..Michonne did the honors and killed her after she ” turned” remember? Oh please don’t even suggest that she’s coming back. She was the only thorn in my side. I like everyone else even the Governor didn’t rub me the wrong way; he was playing the antihero really well and his accent was odd, but i looked forward to seeing The Governor. There are some standout scenes in that last season…when Carl said goodbye tohis mom and then took care of business. when Rick learned what happened w Carl and Lori and when a heartbroken Darryl had to kill a redeemed merle. Those scenes make me cry.

        • melthehound says:

I never cared for Andrea either… Seemed she was always going against the grain and causing more trouble for the group.. Just like her attempt at ‘peacemaker’ in the last season..

        • Amalfi says:

I was just thinking in the sex scene how the woman’s legs were perfectly waxed too…. lol. And where did they get baby clothes for Baby Judith? haha…

I have to focus on these things or I would go crazy trying to watch through my fingers laced in front of my eyes.

          • Laineylainey says:

Well if we really stretch our “suspend disbelief” part of our brain…one could surmise that some of those supplies were gotten when they went out on “runs” raiding old stores, pharmacies and whatnot. The hair think just cracked me up cause it was salon quality styled. the other actresses didnt do that; their hair looked pretty ragged. The waxed legs…haha, I hadn’t thought of that…who would have time to shave and access to water and all that. I would have a unibrow by week 4 of a zombie apocalypse. TMI?

            • Amalfi says:

Yes ok, they could’ve gotten baby clothes on a supply run…the cute pink booties matched the outfit so nicely. A girl of any age has to look good during the Apocalypse.

        • chismosa says:

Lainey LOL at the perfect hair

          • Laineylainey says:

Watching an episode now..and just because I posted that stuff about her hair! It looks “real” in this episode. she has a believably oily disheveled pony tail… Ooooops!

    • chismosa says:

Hi Powell- hope you’re enjoying it
I miss the show. I miss Daryl !

Just some WWH news not sure if you all heard:

So you OC fans know that the drag queen woman is going to be on WWH this week right? Lauri?
And I heard a big kerfuffle about that the LONG ISLAND PRINCESSES for some strange reason, were going to be on WWH tomorrow and then Bravo cancelled them and are scrambling to find other guests. (And not the lady gaga/Giuliana Rancic one who did the posing with the statue)

Also ——Bethenny lovers will have to force themselves to tune into my Wendy’s (I call her ‘my’ lol) show because Barf- I mean Beth will be on Wendy pushing her new show. And a big barf to that …..
Kissy kissy muah muah 💨💨💨👅👅👅 🙄

Texas — thank you for the twitter updates – I love Ana! A great aunt of mine was named Bebe that was one of many who raised my mother, I’ll have to ask her what Bebe is short for –

      • Amalfi says:

I can’t watch Bethany talk for an hour at a time, let alone every day on a weekly show. And I don’t even hate her.

        That voice. I. just. can’t.

        • chismosa says:

          Me too……

I have a feeling she may be a “backup” for Dandy tomorrow night since he needs a backup. If she’s back from montauk or wherever.
She had her sweet 16 on the water in the town the girl in Princesses called a “ghetto” so she may help Andy discuss that show. Bethenny sounds very Long Island a lot since she grew up there most of the time. Her poor childhood! Waaaaaa

        • Laineylainey says:

LOL Amalfi I suspect there are legions who feel the same as you. Add me to that list. Also, her shtick is too deliberate for my taste. It’s not charming or disarming anymore, meaning I once found her to be charming and disarming.

      • ramonacoaster says:

Chismosa – the Boycott is working extra hard getting these Princesses off the air. Have you spotted the Ashley around town yet? She might be too small to see.

        • chismosa says:

          No I haven’t YET!
She’s not as small as she thinks she is, I know she supposedly was on a lot of prednisone at the time of filming I believe she had a stroke ??? So she is normally thinner.
I think her face is very aged-looking. She keeps saying she looks 14 and that makes me laugh!

          • Amalfi says:

            wth…. stroke???

and she is neither cute nor small (short perhaps), not that that is here nor there. she is cute enough, but not what she believes she is… at least to me.

            • chismosa says:

Amalfi— she mentioned something on a blog about having suffered a stroke or something similar to a stroke? She seems to follow a lot of “stroke awareness” movements ?
I don’t know the specifics as I don’t venture much onto bravo’s site because it’s so hard to maneuver and I don’t have patience – lol. But one of her blogs may have mentioned this.
I mean I feel for her for that, but otherwise she’s an annoying P.O.S.

              • Laineylainey says:

Oh my goodness! So young with a stroke.

                • chismosa says:

Yeah Lainey I feel I read about young people with strokes more often everyday
Her exact situation, I’m not exactly sure of.

          • ramonacoaster says:

More like her mindset is 14. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for her too when I’m on the Island and will report back.

      • lillybee says:

I am not fond of afternoon talk shows, so I will not be watching Beth.

Good Morning! Been busy with family time and a wedding. Saw the posts from Chismosa and Lainey…loved the story of Laineys’ Daisy dog digging holes for fun. 🙂

    • Powell says:

Good morning TexasTart. You’ve been having great family time this holiday. That’s so much fun. I hope you all have been having all kinds if fun. A wedding? I love to hear about weddings. I hope the bride & groom are excited.

      • TexasTart says:

Thanks powell, I might post about my cousins wedding when I get to my desktop!

My post of Yolanda in Russia tweets have been stuck in moderation. I assume to have posted too many links in a post. Lesson learned…. sorry someone has to clear that!

  41. Boobah says:

I can’t get to the new blog! Halp! (trust me when I tell you that it in all likelihood, it is my lack of tech skills. LoL)

Anyway, if someone could give me a little tip about strawberries, I will be very grateful….

I would like to slice up a pound or so, add sugar and then set them aside to be used as a layer in a festive trifle dessert. Will they be okay in the fridge until I use them in a few hours? The BBQ is at 230 so I would like to have it all done by noonish. I guess I am worried that they will either spoil or get too soggy. I plan on using the remaining juice as a drizzle over the pound cake part of the pound cake. Does that sound like a good idea? Just to add a little moisture, maybe??

    Thank you so much!!!!

    • TexasTart says:

Yes, they will be fine for that long in the fridge with sugar..keep them air tight. Sounds yummy, I’m on my way over! 🙂

      • Boobah says:

C’mon down!!! Thank you so much!!! My gravatar should be a pic of what I would like to make. While I have done all different trifles, it occurred to me that I have never used fresh fruit!!! Thank you so much TT!!!

    • ramonacoaster says:

I think the strawberries would be fine in the refrigerator for a few hours. I like to drizzle rum or some fruit liqueur over the strawberries just to add a little kick before putting dessert together. Yum!

      • Boobah says:

Thank you! What an awesome idea – to add fruit liqueur!!!! And I don’t have any more rum…. just drank the last of it 2 seconds ago *hiccup*! Joke!!!! 😀

    • california35 says:

      Goo morning!
I cant get to new blog either 😦

      • Boobah says:

        Hi Cali!!! It isn’t just me?!?! Well, that’s a first!!! 😀 😀

      • TexasTart says:

No I can’t either. I sent NMD an email in the event she didn’t come back here for a while….but we are doing just fine posting here. 🙂

        • LavaLady says:

I can’t get to the new blog either. Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. So hot here; just had ac repairman here. It’s working with a temporary fix. Permanent fix later in the week.

    • Powell says:

Yes, yes, yes. Mmmmm Boobah. I’m hungry. Report back on how it turned out.

      • Boobah says:

I will! I’m laughin’ because the I just know that trifle I make will be so far from the professional pic in my gravatar! At least it’s fun to make. Bonus if the sucker tastes good! LoL!!!

    • lulu says:

Boil a cup of sugar and a 1/4 cup of water till thickened. Add a splash of kirsch or triple sec pour over strawberries set aside.

      • Boobah says:

Thanks Lulu! Unfortunately I didn’t read this until it was too late. I will jot this down for future reference though. Thanks again.

  42. Nancy says:

California…are you watching the mens singles? Murray is a head by 2 matches. 😦

  43. Powell says:

Anyone watched Below Deck yet? It’s on now. I never watched it before.

    • lulu says:

Good morning powell!!!!!! I tried but its awful I don’t care about anyone on this show. Are you still watching mistresses? Also started watching under the dome pretty interesting so far.

    • Orson says:

I’ve seen it. A bunch of entitled wannabees (think of the cast of Vanderpump Rules) don’t know there’s a difference between being a passenger on a yacht and being on the crew of a yacht. 1st episode the 3rd Steward starts off by rolling her eyes everytime the Chief Steward gives her a task. And the 2nd Steward finds some evidence the passengers are doing cocaine on the boat, reports it to the Chief Steward, who reports it to the Captain. Because the Captain doesn’t want to be arrested with all of his crew and passengers and doesn’t want the boat confiscated either, he turns around and takes the passengers back to where they originally boarded.

  44. melthehound says:

I see that NMD intended a blog be posted this morning but it was still in draft, perhaps to add the birthdays.. Happy Birthday Chismosa and Iowagirl 😀 I went ahead and published it. Hope that wasn’t to be saved for the chat blog tonight..

  45. designernailsdiana says:

Of course I’m a day late, but thanks for the recap on the blogs Stars you always make me laugh, love some of the lines you come up with.
