With Starr’s computer out of commission, I’ve been missing her blogs of the blogs. I abhor venturing over to the Bravo website to read the blogs myself, but I took one for the team.
Jacqueline was missing in the last episode – and her blog was entitled “The Root of Teresa and Joe’s problem. Quite frankly, I couldn’t care less what Jacqueline has to say about Teresa and Joe so I didn’t even click on her blog. It had 507 comments – which means that other people did care enough to read and comment.
Teresa’s blog was entitled – Melissa and Rich’s bashing. Teresa’s blog writer was very direct this week and took Melissa and Rich to task. I enjoyed the blog, but I felt a little dirty readying it. It’s the sort of blog I would like to have the balls to write about family members – but never would. I particularly liked the following paragraph:
“In five seasons, no matter how much people have tried to get a rise out of me, I have never ever laid a hand on someone. Melissa, not so much. First her own son’s Christening it looked like she was kicking people, then she goes after her brother-in-law, and I didn’t even see until I watched the episode that it looked like she wanted to charge me when I was leaving. And I’m the animal? OK.”
This one cuts Melissa right down as well – but Melissa deserved it. “I had no idea that Melissa felt so strongly about my cookbooks and my products. I guess that explains why she never publicly supported me even though I supported her. I do them because food is what I know best and it makes me happy. It’s sad that she feels the need to belittle me for doing what makes me happy and trying to make a better life for myself and my family. Although I’m sure it’s somehow my fault anyway.”
Finally this paragraph about the actual fight. It’s interesting, especially considering Joey got into another bravo fight later in the season. That one wasn’t quite as safe considering Johnny the Greek filed charges. Johnny’s account was that he walked into the room and Joey charged him. Somehow, after seeing how Joey charged Joe G, I can believe Johnny’s version.
“I was very proud that my Joe walked in the room and asked for an apology. He didn’t call anyone names. As soon as Joey charged him, Joe was figuring out the safest way to hold Joey off. If there was ever a “safe” fight for my brother to be in, it’s with my husband. He would never hurt my brother. Joey knows that and Melissa knows it too. Why she was acting all hysterical was insane to me. I get that if Joey was fighting with a stranger, she might be afraid for him, but not with my husband. Then, you should definitely jump in and try to stop it, Melissa! When he’s being an idiot with my husband, you can let them be.”
Teresa’s blog has 1500 comments.
Melissa’s blog has around 2000 comments. She starts of her blog being all bright and sunny. Melissa then goes into defensive mode. They called me names first – I just reacted when the fight started and jumped in. She really needs a professional blog writer because it sounds like whining to me. Melissa has gotten a lot of heat for bring Joe Guidice’s mom into the fight. She wrote this: “Now I know that while we were crying, devastated, and embarrassed over in the other room, nothing but giggles and Fabellini toasts. The Giudices must have felt like what just happened was no big deal. They were having sexy time in the hot tub. Hey, whatever floats your boat. I wonder what Filomena “too much boobie” Giudice would say about her son and daughter-in-law’s Jacuzzi action and his “I’m going to jerk off”?” Filomena is Juicy’s mom. As much as I was disgusted by the bath tub scene, I don’t know why Melissa has to bring Juicy’s mom into it.
Melissa then goes on to say that she knew she couldn’t just snap her fingers and make thing go away, and the Teresa threatened them in her blog last week. “As you can see, I might have had the right idea. Just last week in her blog, Teresa outright threatened us saying I am “very, very lucky that [she’s] keeping quiet about the things [she] does know” about me and my marriage. I thought we are supposed to be in a better place? This is exactly why I didn’t want to just put on a fake smile and pretend that we could snap our fingers and the animosity would disappear. “
So basically – both these ladies went after each other hard in their blogs. Quite frankly, I’m sick of both of them. Yet somehow we’re supposed to believe all is solved in tonight’s episode, and their relationship is mended. I’m not sure if I’ll ever believe that.
Oh yeah – and Kathy also wrote a blog but I didn’t bother to read it.
