Tonight we’re treated to the second episodes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules. Presumable the shows will no longer be intertwined, which should help the disappointing ratings of RHOBH rebound a little.
Taylor Armstrong has promised that she’ll be in this episode. I’d prefer to see Taylor over Kim Richards. Kim is going to “fake” faint, making fun of Lisa Vanderpump’s faint on Dancing with the Stars. I don’t find that very funny. I don’t find much about Kim Richards funny – or interesting. I can not understand why she’s still on the show.
I may be alone in this, but I don’t have much affection for Yolanda Foster. I understand she’s going through a tough time, but I don’t understand why she stayed on the show for a second season given her health. She seems to be a very demanding “friend” who judges people harshly if they don’t live up to her expectations. I find her exhausting and preachy, and I’m pretty sure I’d fail as her friend.
Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump started the show as best friends. Now, Lisa can’t take a breath without Kyle criticizing her. If Kyle thinks she’ll improve her popularity rating by tearing Lisa down, she’s mistaken. The best she can hope for is to drag Lisa down to her level.
Same with Brandi Glanville. Nothing good comes from turning on a good friend. Brandi should have kept quiet about her “hiccup” with Lisa, and let viewers draw their own conclusions as the season played out. Because she’s been so active on twitter – we’ve all grown tired of her.
BB has a family situation to work though this week, so I’ll be blogging Beverly Hills for the very first time. I’m not sure how that will go. I’m a little jaded with the whole group of these ladies, and not sure if they are “acting” or if there is some element of reality in their drama.
As for the crew from Vanderpump Rules – this is their big break in Hollywood, and they’ll be bringing all the over the top drama we’ve come to expect from them. Everyone is trying to take the spotlight from the Stassi – Jak show. Good luck with that.
And finally we have part one of the Miami reunion. I’m not looking forward to the screaming.
