Andy Cohen is Out as Executive Producer at Bravo – Will Focus on WWHL and his Production Company by NMD
Bravo has been in shake ups for weeks, and we finally have an answer as to why executive Andy Cohen changed his twitter handle from Bravo Andy to just Andy. He’s out as the Executive Producer for Talent and Development. In exchange he’s inked a deal to keep his talk show on the air for two more years in its 5 night a week format. He’s also heading up his own production company that will focus on developing prime time shows. He’ll also remain an executive producer on the housewives brand.
This change was inevitable. As BravoRatings.com pointed out weeks ago, he was burning the candle on both ends, and not giving enough time to his executive producer job. Now he can balance his life a little.
Does this open the door for Jill Zarin’s return to Bravo with her number one nemesis out? Time will tell. I suspect phones calls are being placed right this minute.
