Tonight, Bravo’s number one show takes the stage.
Kandi Burruss continues to be a class act and has not exploited her mama drama. She’s defended Mama Joyce, and seems visibly upset at the hate directed towards her mom.
Phaedra continues to lay her relationship with Apollo out on a silver platter for the reality show. He’s a good sport to put up with it.
NeNe Leakes is promising us more background dirt on the girls, as she brings out their ex-lover / boyfriend. I wish she’d stop. It makes her look petty.
Cynthia has been on the show for quite a while, and continues to be a decent and kind person. How did she get on this show, and why hasn’t she been replaced yet? I’m glad she hasn’t. It’s a sign that viewers don’t want a toxic cast.
Let’s see if the two newbies have any more to bring to the show.
Of all the cast, only Kenya Moore weighted in on the Brandi Glanville disaster this week.
NeNe met Brandi at the Bravo upfronts in May, and had this to say about her on WWHL a little later: “Brandi’s just a train wreck. Just a wreck. Just a wreck. She’s just off the chain, she’s off the hook [with] a lot of the things that she has to say, just so talkative. She saysa lot of stuff that she needs to not say. She’s going to get read. . .She thinks she can get in people’s faces and say whatever she wants to say.”
On a later, WWHL show, Jeff Lewis and Andy Cohen talked about a fight that went down between Brandi, NeNe, and Kenya Moore at an afterparty for the summer upfronts.
“It was a knockdown, slapdown shitshow. It was crazy. It was with Brandi Glanville and NeNe [Leakes] and Kenya [Moore.] Whoa.” Jeff said.
Jeff said Brandi was more at fault. “She was so messy that night … she was antagonistic. She’s a mean drunk. It was really nuts, they went at each other.”
I’m sort of shocked NeNe has been quiet this week.
