Well Bravo executives need to sit up and take notice of the Monday night ratings. Vanderpump Rules squeezed ahead of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the young audience demographic, and almost caught up in overall viewership. Well, Housewives has been dropping while Vanderpump Rules increasing. Go figure.
Well actually, while I’m a little surprised that viewership is building for Vanderpump Rules, I’m not at all surprised it’s dropping for Housewives. It’s grown old and stale.
Brandi has just taken over Taylor Armstrong’s drunken, hot mess roll. Her behavior is predictable (probably she’s tweeted about it for months) and boring, but she’s getting most of the airtime.
If we have our timelines right, the self defense portion of last week’s episode was filmed a few days after photos of a drunken Brandi with her dress hiked up hit the press. If so, congrats to the cast for not bringing it up on camera and going there. That probably accounts for the most awkward lunch ever between Kyle, Brandi and Lisa where they all tried to think of other things to talk about. Perhaps the plan was for Brandi to bring it up. Oh well – if it was she’ll probably tell us.
