Real Housewives of Atlanta Cast Blogs Blogged by RamonaCoaster
Finally some of these women (who isn’t Kenya) wrote some blogs.
NeNe Leakes – thinks everyone should take responsibility for their own actions.
I created this game called “Pillow Talk.” It all started from Gregg and I basically discussing our day or any issues we had with each other at the end of our day once we got in bed at night. Obviously this party is for adults only with adult topics and content that build unity, start conversation and debates between couples, friends, and even strangers!
Too bad only immature kids showed up to the party.
All the guests that were invited knew in advance what the dress code was and what my intentions were — to build unity within the group.
I had to laugh out loud reading this sentence. Epic fail. I seriously doubt Nene had good intentions considering what she knew everyone said before the pillow talk party. Her game was designed to get the drama going.
Yes, questions were being asked that some were uncomfortable with! I DID NOT write the questions, but I asked them, so blame me for that! I’ll accept that! I’ll even accept you saying I stirred the pot, but I can’t take the blame for uncontrollable adults picking up their fists to fight.
So who wrote the questions? Does it even matter? These extra people added to the drama which led to the violence on the show. If I wanted to see violence I would watch an action movie or see a boxing match, not tune into reality tv. I hope these violent acts do not become part of the Bravo formula.
I already stated that Kenya charged out of her seat, and whether you could see it or not she did, and I stand by that! I also said Christopher NEVER touched her in an aggressive way. He was only trying to stop her from charging his wife, and I stand by that! I’m the first to tell you that a man should never touch a woman aggressively, and he didn’t! The rest of the ladies on the cast have spoken, so I rest my case.
I don’t think Kenya charged anyone. It is hard to have a conversation with someone who is across the room especially with cameras there. Christopher should never have touched her. As a man, you are screwed either way – you are the ass that touched a woman or you are the ass who got it handed to him by a woman. Kenya seems to think Nene is blaming her for the whole thing but really it was everyone who contributed to that fight.
Cynthia Bailey – I Didn’t Know Mal Pushed Kandi
Although I was surprised and thought it was interesting that Natalie knew Todd, the tea that was poured was basically old and stale. I envisioned Kandi handling this bit of news exactly the way that she handled it at the winery. She was not bothered, laughed it off, and pretty much owned her fabulousness with a “girl, bye” attitude at the end of the day. High fives were slapped and that was that. Or so I thought. I really thought we had moved on, so I was a kind of surprised when Kandi brought it back up at Pillow Talk.
Obviously this should tell you that Kandi was still sensitive about how her man is being talked about and I don’t see how as a friend you did not notice that. Especially when you knew Kandi’s mother is against Todd.
That was when I decided to try to talk to Kandi to make sure that she had the whole story. The good and the bad. Big mistake! As you could see, that didn’t go too well. In hindsight, I guess I was too much in her personal space. It didn’t feel like it to me at the time, but looking back at it all, I guess I was. We both talk with our hands, and I didn’t realize at the time that I was using mine any more than she was using hers.
Porsha was right. There must have been some demon in the room possessing people because Cynthia’s tone of voice and her body language just changed. I thought she was going to get all up in Kandi’s grill.
I also did not feel that when Peter walked up and asked what was going on that he was necessarily aggressive. I do know that anytime a man is addressing a woman (and it’s not all fun and giggles), it never really looks right.
I thought Peter was going to go off on Todd when he was saying “Ya’ll acting real strange.” I was like, wtf? Todd and Chris were about to resolve everything.
Last but not least, I definitely didn’t know until I saw it on tape that Mal pushed Kandi. I actually didn’t believe it until I saw the tape, because I just don’t remember it happening. I thought Mal was trying to keep Peter and Todd from getting into it by pushing them apart. Mal did tell me that in that moment Todd pushed her, and she instinctually pushed him back. Then all hell broke loose from there. Remember, Mal is my sister first and foremost. She is just as protective of me as the other ladies’ families are protective of them. Just like the other incident, it all happened so quickly it was hard to know who pushed whom and when or why. We may never know exactly how it all started, I am just glad that it is over.
What the hell was going through Mal’s mind that she could stop two men from physically fighting? Mal was infected with a demon, too.
Kandi apologized to the group at the spa for her behavior, and I apologized to her for getting in her personal space and for Mal pushing her. With these ladies it’s always a matter of time before you bump heads with someone. So I guess it was me and Kandi’s turn. It kind of sucks, because Kandi and I have always been cool with each other and have never really had an issue. Just like she said that she likes me, I also like her. So that said, I apologize and accept full responsibility for any part of wrong doing that I contributed to on that night. I apologize on behalf of Peter and my sister as well. I hope that Kandi and I are big enough women to eventually move past this foolishness. I guess you will have to keep watching to find out. Oh yes, when Kandi says that I wouldn’t bust a grape, she was 100% correct. I do not and will not ever physically fight another woman.
Good thing everyone knows that about you.
Kenya Moore – thinks all the ladies want to make her the fall guy.
I watched Kandi explode into a blackout rage stating she would “kill” people and “drag them.” We all have triggers and are not perfect. My issue is not with Kandi’s fit of anger, but with the acceptance of her behavior from the women over the same point that I attempted to make: NO ONE SHOULD EVER PUT HIS OR HER HANDS ON YOU.
I don’t think the women accepted her behavior but they accepted her apology. I think the women have enough history with Kandi to know she is a kind-hearted person who was just having a bad moment.
During the aftermath of the melee, I watched each woman cavalierly recall the events as each laughed about what happened to Brandon and at their behavior, none acknowledging Apollo’s assault on Brandon. Not one single woman called Brandon to check on him.
Apollo’s assault on Brandon should have been addressed because that was crazy but knowing there is a lawyer involved you know that it won’t be. I think the lawyer probably told her husband not to apologize because he would be admitting his wrong-doing.
Secondly, men have physically abused some of us, including NeNe, in our past. Instead of NeNe pointing the blame at me for standing, they all should have been outraged that a man would grab me for any reason in their presence. Yet, they chose to focus on rudimentary finger pointing and attempting to make me the fall guy.
Nene would not want you to have any positive attention. She is the queen of that show afterall.
What’s even more disturbing is all the gay bashing and offensive language used by NeNe to humiliate and demean Brandon. NeNe maliciously and repeatedly referred to him as “that queen” and “her girlfriend in the red dress” etc.
Poor Brandon. Nene should definitely apologize for that.
Christopher stood up and then hovered over me first while NeNe sat back pleased with herself over the contemptuous, hate-filled environment she created. After Christopher violently grabbed me, Brandon admirably defended me. Yet, at the spa, NeNe relentlessly argues Christopher “never touched” me when we all clearly saw he did. If that wasn’t enough, she exclaims, “You’re lucky you didn’t get your ass beat”, etc.
I don’t think Christopher “violently” grabbed your arm. Everything happened too fast to judge appropriately. But I do agree that he should have not grabbed you, period. That was wrong.
No one should be subjected to physical violence especially from a woman who has been beaten herself. What type of message are you sending to other women, young girls, and gays that it’s OK you get beat because you deserved it? Phaedra stated “Brandon wrote a check that his ass couldn’t cash” yet never once apologized on behalf of her husband. How ironic… One word: karma. Phaedra and NeNe both condoned violence with these remarks and for that, I’m deeply hurt and embarrassed for their disgusting beliefs.
I think everyone should admit to some wrong doing. Kandi gave the right example apologizing for her behavior. I don’t think anyone condones violence. I think there was too much negativity in that room from the very start for it to turn out any other way.
Meanwhile, someone posted a producers email on Lipstick Alley from a blog called thefamedriven.com. Kenya Moore confirmed that it was 100% true. NMD
“Hello The Fame Driven,
I work as a member of the production staff on BRAVO’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and I wanted to clarify for people what was not aired during the brawl in last nights episode since Nene Leakes has slandered us, the True Entertainment production staff, and editors of the show. For one, Nene’s erratic behavior was simply because she felt Kenya’s tardiness to her event was a devised plan for the producers to make Kenya the new star of the show, and it was NOT! Before Kenya arrived Nene was ranting, pacing, and cursing us out about how she is the star of the show, she is the relevant actress, she made “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” the success it is today, and she should not have to wait for Kenya to arrive to her event. Two PA’s were verbally disrespected and threatened by Nene when they simply tried to diffuse the situation by telling Nene that the scene could not wrap until all housewives (Kenya included) were present, we didn’t air any of that footage.
When Kenya arrived to the event Nene was already pissed, but we the producers told Nene beforehand that Kenya was going to be running late. Nene then reverted her frustrations towards Kenya and that’s when she thought to bring up the Christopher Williams and his “common law” wife rumor, that Kenya stated at the winery, so that the room would gang up on Kenya, and it didn’t work out as Nene had originally planned. Prior to that night, Nene and Kenya had no issues, it wasn’t until one of the housewife husbands blurted out at Nene’s pajama party that “we have to wait for the new star of the show to arrive”, which triggered Nene’s anger, and entailed what the viewers witnessed leading up to the melee. We didn’t edit, manipulate, or conjure up a devious plan to sabotage Nene like she would want people to beleive. We can not provide or present footage that a housewife does not put out of themselves to be recorded. So for Nene to blame poor editing on the production and editing staff is the furthest from the truth, and showing no accountability on her end. For obvious reasons, BRAVO network decided not to allow Nene’s blog to go up on their site when part 1 of the brawl occurred, because the network knew what Nene was saying was not the truth.”
@KeiraAlley not sure who it is from but this is 100% factual

Deflection Brandi Style, RHoBH by NMD
If it wasn’t so tiresome, it would be amusing.
First of all Brandi Glanville made a comment on her PodCast (so she couldn’t claim she was mis-quoted) about Lisa Vanderpump almost filing for bankruptcy and living in the valley many years ago. Her context was that some of her castmates hid their past – while she was an open book.
Lisa took exception to Brandi’s statement – saying it was categorically untrue.
Brandi deflected – blaming it all on Kyle Richards in an interview with eonline – saying that Kyle told her some gossip – and it wasn’t Brandi’s fault that she couldn’t keep it to herself.
Kyle denied it immediately.
For the record @ENews I never said Lisa filed for bankruptcy.
— Kyle Richards (@KyleRichards18) February 13, 2014
And then denied it even more emphatically on facebook:
“In response to Brandi’s comment re Lisa & Ken ….Brandi must have misunderstood an innocuous conversation we had in which we discussed the fact that Ken himself had made a speech at a party in their home where he said that he and Lisa had owned businesses and properties in Calabasas and discussed the course of their journey . This was not “classified” information. The other claim made did not come up in this conversation and is not something I have heard . For all the issues that Lisa and I continue to work through , I have tremendous respect for the hard work and success they have achieved in their life together.”
Meanwhile Brandi did a little more deflection, telling people to back off Kyle – as if she wasn’t reponsible. Deep sigh.
