These are just TV show characters and none are worth getting Ramotional about 😉 On with the show.. – MTH

Carole is at a photo shoot for her author’s portrait and Heather is micromanaging it.  She’s telling Carole how to hold her head, checking the camera angles and testing the patience of the photographer, Sigrid Estrada.  Heather really didn’t need to butt in, Ms. Estrada knows a thing or two about photography.  This is Carole’s portrait, from Estrada’s website,

01A_Q2Fyb2xlIFJhdHppd2lsbA==Carole’s cell rings  and it’s Aviva calling.  She really doesn’t want talk to her, especially after the scene she created during Carole’s book shower, where she made a spectacle of herself and pretty much ruined the event.  In her talking head, Carole says that Aviva is disrespectful, and she’s distancing herself from Aviva because she can’t take her craziness.   Yes, Carole, we understand – we’ve seen it.

At Sonja’s house, she and Ramona are talking about Aviva, too.  Ramona is considering being more polite to Aviva but wonders if she can do it.  She also tells Sonja how sad she is that Avery is going to graduate from high school and go off to college.  Sonja thinks she’s being too emotional and should walk her dog more or spend more time with Mario.    Walking the dog sounds like a good idea.  Sonja is talking about expanding her dating pool, by including everyone with a pulse, from Aviva’s ex, Harry Dubin, to college sophomores.  Any guy twenty years old  and up is alright with her.  In Sonja-land, a girl should always explore every option available.

Heather is holding a birthday party for herself and the gang is invited.  She’s also invited some of her friends from her days with P Diddy/Puffy/Puff Daddy/Sean John’s record company, Bad Boy Entertainment.  Carole loves Heather because of this, telling us that Heather has street cred.   Another of the company’s former employees is new girl, Kristen Taekman’s husband, Josh.   New York City is a small world after all.   Sonja brings her date, Ben, who has just started shaving, leaving Carole to wonder if Sonja is dating him or adopting him.  Sonja is a wee bit jealous that Ben is talking to Kristen.

We’re treated to a little background about Kristen.  She’s from Farmington, Connecticut  (excuse me while I give a shout out to my friends in Farmington) and she’s been modeling since she was a teenager.  She and Josh have been married for eight years and have two children – a son, Cash (money) and a daughter, Kingsley (Lindy Lu).   Josh is one of the founders of  EBoost, an energy supplement.  She has a nanny because she works and her kids drive her crazy, especially when they throw up.  Yeah, kids are like that.   She says that she can get away with a lot because she’s pretty.  She and Brandi were bridesmaids at each other’s weddings.  This is getting better by the minute.

Now, back to the party.  Aviva and Reid are on their way in a limo and they’re late.  Aviva tells us that they can’t help it because they’re moving into a new apartment.  I think she’s taking her time so the banner announcing her arrival will be ready.  She’s afraid of Ramona and doesn’t know how she’s going to be received when they come face to face.  Ramona’s already cornered Kristen and is browbeating her into vowing that she won’t be deceptive.   Kristen describes Ramona and Sonja as a couple of her crazy, drunk aunts.  Ramona sense that Aviva has entered the building because there’s a sudden cloud of black smoke.  Carole just wants to keep a friendly distance from her.

Aviva decides to ease her way back into the group by going to Sonja first.  Sonja’s a pretty safe choice – she’s good with broken women and if she can understand Kelly Bensimon,  Aviva can probably fit under her wing, too.  First they chat about Harry,  and then Sonja tells Aviva that she was mean to Ramona.  Having gained a bit of confidence, Aviva moves on to Carole.  Big mistake.  Huge mistake.  Aviva wants to talk about Aviva and the memoir she’s writing.  She blurts out, “Book. Book.  And then I thought about you.”  That’s not even a complete sentence, but I guess that never stopped any Housewife from becoming an author.  Well, it seems that she didn’t exactly think about Carole, just what Carole can do for her, like editing her Book-Book.  All that served to do was remind Carole why she wanted to distance herself from Aviva.  Self-absorbed users can wear you out.

When Carole makes her escape from Aviva’s bony grip, she chats with Kristen who happens to love Elvis Presley.  Kristen worships Elvis and wishes she had been  one of those Southern belles who  threw themselves, or at least threw their panties,  at him.  Carole tells us that Kristen is the hat trick of fun – tall, pretty and weird.  Ramona and Mario are on the fringes of the party until Aviva pulls her away for a chat.  Aviva wants to hug Ramona and tells her that she sincerely missed her.  No, Ramona’s not ready for any hugging.  Aviva, who just can’t help herself, follows up her apology by telling her that she’s old – older and wants Ramona to show her the way.  The way to where isn’t clear but Ramona may have her own destinations in mind.  Ramona tells her that apologizing is one thing – accepting Aviva as a person is different.  Go ahead, Ramona – speak it.  We’re listening.  She tells Aviva that she’s mean-spirited and conned her.  The original Truth Cannon has spoken and Aviva knows it.  She just drifts away, hoping for another chance on another day.

Kristen and her husband are supposed to have a date night, but Josh is running late.  She’s fuming, and tells us that he thinks his time and his work are more important than she is.   He arrives and blames a shortage of taxis for his tardiness.  She wants to know why he couldn’t text her.  They then begin to lament what marriage has done to the romance.  Work and kids have turned things from fabulous to humdrum.  Josh has a gift for her – a pair of diamond earrings – really nice diamond earrings.    Kristen is delighted and tells him that he’s going to get a blow job for them.  More baubles for blow-jobs, courtesy of New York Housewives.  He says he should have bought two pairs.  The romance seems to be back on track for at least one more night.

Ramona has an interior designer in her apartment and they’re trying to figure out what to do with a room that’s become a poor excuse for a closet.  Her clothes and shoes are all over the place,  The phone rings and it’s Aviva.  She wants to meet Ramona for drinks and to iron things out.  Not quite ready to put aside her misgivings, Ramona says that she’ll think about it.

Before that can happen, Ramona has to go to Sonja’s for a tea party.  Sonja is putting out a buffet of sandwiches, desserts and hors d’ouevres with the help of her interns.  She has four of them,  Tyler, Alyx and the two Rachels.  She must have found them on Craigslist because they’re really not very good at whatever it is they’re supposed to do.  There aren’t any plates on the table and no one answers the door when Kristen buzzes the intercom.   Sonja has a new dog, Marley, who Sonja adopted after her beloved Millou died.  His ashes are on the sideboard.

More guests arrive, including Robin Cofer, a friend of Sonja’s and a Minister in the Church of the Oprah Winfrey Network.  While Marley samples the buffet, the ladies sit around and talk about Aviva.  Sonja and Ramona start to bicker like an old married couple.  Sonja’s still smarting over the perversity she was subjected to by Aviva’s father, but wants to rise above it.  The Reverend Robin chimes in with something about relating to Aviva’s soul and how one’s character is revealed when the chips are down.  Kristen, who is just learning about Aviva and past transgressions, suggests that Aviva may have turned over a new leaf.  Ramona realizes that she’s outnumbered and decides to take Aviva up on her offer for a meeting.

When they get together, Aviva tells Ramona how amazing she looks, then says that she’s not saying that to get in her pants.  Huh?  They have a couple of tequila shots and Aviva, who’s not a big drinker – her mother’s problems probably  had something to do with that – says that they weren’t as bad as she thought they’d be and that she’s swallowed worse.  Huh?  They have a few more drinks and Ramona wants to know why Aviva is making this effort now.  Aviva says that nothing really ruffles her feathers.  Big Huh?  She thought that Reid was being attacked, but now realizes she was wrong.  Ramona says that she’s actually enjoying herself.  She tells Aviva she’s a class act.  Aviva tells her she missed her.  This has to be alcohol talking.  It looks like a tenuous peace accord was reached but time will tell.   Aviva’s phobias and neuroses lurk just beneath the surface and Ramona doesn’t strike me as a “fool me twice” kinda gal.

              …but she’s puuuurty… (I don’t think so)

I decided last night that I’m not going to like her no matter what! Even if she turns out to be wonderful-I’m sticking to my initial reaction to her-which is, she’s annoying as EFf!!
              (But she’s preettyyyy)

        • Ugh! She’s already annoying me! It’s got to be all about Kristen all of the time.

          • chismosa™ says:

Oh boy ….it’s Melissa Gorga 2.0 for me!

I thought she was being diplomatic and gracious with Frick and Frack at high tea

I watched RHNY with one eye asleep and one eye open. More to come for sure.

  2. chismosa™ says:

    HOLLA —-
I’m reading the recap but it was HOLLA’s cell phone. Not Carole’s. At the photoshoot.

Wow Aviva went to Heather and was staying away from Carole.
    Go Carole !

    • laineylainey says:

Good morning, dear Chismosita. Have a good one!!

      • chismosa™ says:

You too- ps I hope you saw I wrote back to you about you clearly favoring one child over another (jk! 😋)
And didn’t mean anything bad by it. I altered my theory.
But I still have theories !

I know you are very empathetic and sensitive to parents and kids’ stuff.

  3. ladebra says:

Thanks Empress for blogging NY. Maybe I’m just so she’ll shocked from BH, but I was laughing and enjoying the show! What a difference from yelling at the TV and looking for something to throw 🙂 Veena has a couple of new pics up of the Canary Island arrival. The mountain looks like a gondola ride kinda place to me, lol.

    Happy Wednesday!

  4. Jan (TexasTart) says:

Empress – thank you for the NY recap and MelTheHound for the blog!
    Good day everyone! 😀

    • ladebra says:

I gotta tell ya Tex, Jimmy Kimmel at SXSW with all the BarBQue had me packing my bags for Austin! And then I went on the Internet to see if any of those places shipped, and they do! … Do you guys in Austin get to enjoy or are you natives staying away from the crowds?

  5. not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

Good Morning…didn’t read yet but wanted to how excited I’am to have Empress blogging NY!!

  6. chismosa™ says:

Empress thank you so much on the recap.

Don’t hate me all but I like Kristen so far. I do. It can change!
Her hubby is WEIRD though. Her kids are stunning.
For her to have a nanny in ny is soooooooooo not unheard of. I like her ! She’s cool with Heather and Ramona now so I’m cool with that.
Re: The “crazy aunts” (and why does Kristen pronounce it that way? Why not like the bug?) — comment, I JUST heard it on either last year’s NY season as I just marathoned through it — or on BH’s.
Almost like someone was making a dig at someone’s age – I do think kristen is actually quite younger than frick and frack so I don’t think she meant anything negative. The other HW I saw say that seemed to be throwing a lampshade.

In Aviva’s delusional mind i think she actually thought talking to Carole about her “book” and asking Carole to help her with it (???) was in Aviva’s mind a nice cool way to get in touch with Carole.
Next week it shows as a BIG MISTAKE.
Aviva – you speak several languages, tell everyone you went to vassar and LAW SCHOOL. Why do you need help Bit&h?????
For anyone who doesn’t know Aviva moved temporarily to a 2nd apartment strictly for filming because her co-op board wouldn’t allow the cameras. King Fred on MDL did the same thing.

Is the “Minister in the Church of the Oprah Winfrey Network” a real thing? I’m gullible so I’ll believe it.
    Someone stole Aviva’s leg right ? 😋
That is the woman whose 90th floor apartment in the sky George went and accosted Ramona at.
She also has been on a few times with Ramona, I remember when she was feuding with Jill.

Sonja seemed ramotional on WWH re: Ramona & Mario. Awwww.
Revenge watchers- is that actor gabriel Mann gay IRL too? He’s cute.

JILL -was that your nephew on last night ? Or cousin? I forget what. —
I remember that kid from another season too.

    • chismosa, The Church of the Oprah Winfrey Network exists only in my head. 😉

    • Powell says:

Chismosa crazy ants instead of crazy aunts? I’m sorry but I don’t like “ant” used for “aunt”. I have aunts, not ants. 🙂

      • BB says:

I always thought “ants” was the southern pronunciation for “aunts” although I’ve always pronounced it “aunt.”

        • Powell says:

BB that’s probably where it originated.

          • Anne says:

My family is from upstate NY and we say “ant.” We have no connection to the southern states. I have a brother-in-law from NH and he says “aunt” or “auntie.” My nephews refer to my sister and I as “ant” and their paternal female aunts as “auntie.” I know other people from New England who say “aunt” — since Kristen is originally from CT, she is using the pronunciation most common in that part of hte country.

            • ladebra says:

I’m an ant 🙂 but then again, we’re all Southern.

            • chismosa™ says:

I was just thinking that when I read your first 2 sentences. – and you cleared it up.

I know it’s always tricky for me to figure out if Connecticut is considered “New England” or if it’s still mid-Atlantic like NY/NJ/ “tri-state”

              So that must be it.

The countLESS is from CONN. Right ? The “Indian” countless. Oh boy.

I wonder if Kristen is from like greenwich/Darien shi shi shi conn. or less affluent.

              • FWIW, I grew up in Connecticut and I pronouce it “aunt”.
Kristen is from Farmington which is an affluent community – polo fields and Miss Porter’s school for young girls hoping to marry wealthy, influenital men.
The Countess hails from Berlin, a more working class kind of place.
Connecticut is one of the six New England States.

                • chismosa™ says:

Thanks Empress – I do always consider it NE

plus I know many French- Canadian and also Portuguese settled in that area and in Massachusetts

      • chismosa™ says:

        Haha !

I just realized I pronounce vase like “Oz”. Not like “case”

I do love sweet tea though. :0

        • BB says:

Is there any other kind of tea (other than sweet?) lol

          • chismosa™ says:

I don’t know how other ways exist

          • Powell says:

I can’t stand it Chismosa and BB. I love hit tea. One of my aunt’s loves herself some iced tea. I tease her cuz every single time, no matter what time of the yr, that we have a family gathering my aunt says, “You all want some tea?”. I say ” why on God’s green earth do you always think people want to drink iced tea? Can’t we please have s else?”. She just laughs at me. 🙂

    • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

Chismosa -yes Tyler is “nephew” (very close family friend) . He just got back from Texas with Sonja.

      • chismosa™ says:

I know you can’t speak about it. But I LOVE it!
        I do love Sonja

    • Beckygrey says:

I call some of my aunts (like Kristen) and some of them ants. I don’t know why, it just is that way.(it might have to do with which side of the family they are on) I love Kristen. She is very smart and snarky. Her tag line is the best. And when she says I’m pretty, she is, but she it being a smart ass, because that not just who she is. She is like Heather, but a bit lighter. Very down to earth and honest…I love my kids but sometime they get on my nerves. She says what we really feel. She reminds me a little bit like Jennie P (Jeff Lewis)

  7. chismosa™ says:

VV in case you missed this:

Maybe she thinks she can start some lie about cameras since she is not going to be on WWH or any reunion anytime soon? I wonder what the witch and Lemons say about this.

    • MelTheHound - Team T-Rex says:

Someone ask her why it isn’t on the show then, if ‘show peeps’ were there and watched the whole thing ‘go down’? Funny we haven’t heard about this from anyone BUT, Brandi.

    • Powell says:

Well if show peeps were at her house they should have it on tape and show it at the reunion to show that Lisa lied right? So if it’s not shown at the reunion we will definitely know who is lying.

      • MelTheHound - Team T-Rex says:

      • kit9 says:

If they didn’t show it, they won’t show it at the reunion. They’ve never done a gotcha like that so that won’t happen even if they have it, imo. But, I can see Andy either confirming or denying if production was there.

        • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

On the OC reunion last season they did kind of do a “gotcha” to Vicki when she was talking to Lauri about some dude she was “seeing”…first time I have seen Bravo actually help someone prove ANYTHING!!!

          • kit9 says:

Really? wow. I’m having probs remembering anything about the OC reunion right now. Hell, maybe I didn’t see it. They actually showed footage of her with the guy and contradicted her? Wow. Well, then, maybe they will show something if they have it! I remember BadJill at one reunion kept saying ‘show the footage!’ and Andy getting really annoyed. Speaking of unaired footage, I’d freaking pay biggish $ for more Scary Island footage.

            • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

No not footage with the guy but they had her on film telling Laurie the story that she denied telling-caught that B red handed!

          • mm in oc says:

There was also the Gretchen and Lynn issue from the OC (where Gretchen “stole” Lynn purse supplier). That was on the “what you missed” show as well. I guess they like to stick it to the OC ladies.

          • Beckygrey says:

But that wasn’t new footage. It was old footage when Laurie was on the show. It was just forgotten by the viewers who watched the show then and never seen by the viewers who had just started watch OC.

            • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

It was new footage from the season they just filmed-they were on a bus talking. It’s as when they were on their ski vacation with Lydia. Vicki was talking very low as if she forgot that the mic pics up everything. Laurie asked her about some guy and Vicki answered.

      • She didn’t say they were filming though, she said they were there. The story Carlton and Lisa tell is that Brandi was pissed at her peeing and pooping machines. Lisa got there late and made Brandi go back in the house to say good bye to the P&PMs and Lisa says there were none there, Carlton backs this up……. I wish Lisa had just said, “So effing what IF I did, big effing deal, get over yourself Kyle, IF I did it, it was a joke darlhhhling!” Kyle brought up Lisa’s porn many times and Lisa didn’t “confront”, it’s all such BULL Shite!!!! The whole effing season was so stupid!!!

        • Rebecca can't understand why people don't appreciate the importance of dragons. says:

Why wasn’t this brought up when it happened? It would have been discussed ad nauseum by the teenager called Brandi. You know, the one that never shuts up? The one tired of Lisa telling her what to do? In the car? In either car? In Palm Springs? While Brandi was loaded at dinner and even more unfiltered? After Palm Springs? Nothing? Crickets?

          • Wasn’t there a point in the dinner in PS that Brandi said we could hurt you and Lisa kinda shut B down and then there was this weird cut in action and cue Kyle crying…?? I think something happened at that dinner…Idk, pics or it didn’t happen!!!

        • Powell says:

But PrincessP when aren’t they filming? Esp if it was something like Brandi describes her and Lisa going back and forth about wanting Brandi to take it. I can’t imagine them not having cameras rolling and we know there are hundreds of hrs that get cut and then some they like to use as “lost footage” like it was archived in the 50’s and lost.

          • Well, I’m thinking that Lisa was late they were outside waiting for her about to leave and when Lisa found out that Brandi “hated” her P&PMs she made her run back in and say good bye and “kiss kiss” the P&PMs so I don’t think that cameras were running….doesn’t mean it didn’t happen….in fact I could see it being a quick 5 second thing that Brandi blew up to be “THE BIG DEAL” …..IPPHO

    • VV™ says:

What is the issue? She keeps changing it. Is the issue that Lisa put magazines twice on her suitcase? I think Brandi said that’s what Lisa did that or Is the issue Lisa was reading the magazines?

  8. Powell says:

DJP I used to love watching Elvis Presley movies. I haven’t watched them in yrs though. You and Chismosa love Priscilla. She is ok looks now but she was beautiful until she got auto grade silicone injected into her face thks to Lionel Richie’s 2nd ex and her phony doc not licensed in the US. Ex Richie held those Hollywood injection parties at her home and got kick backs. Unfortunately Priscilla has to live w/what she had done. Silicone can’t be removed.

    • chismosa™ says:

      I think she’s stunning PRE-silicone and PRE-Xenu

      Inherently stunning. Now ….. Ehhhhhh

    • My Mom and I use to watch old Elvis movies on the weekend. We both had a crush on young Elvis. Rich people do some really dumb stuff!!

    • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

Hi Powell!!! I totally agree. Priscilla was stunning until she ruined her face. Like Kim Kardashian was beautiful, now she looks like she’s melting. There have been times where I saw a pic of her and thought it was octo mom :/

    • Kansas Girl says:

If you go to Graceland and stay in the Heartbreak Hotel (:D), you can watch non-stop Elvis movies on the room tv.

      • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

Going to Graceland is a goal of mine, not kidding. Thank you for telling me about the Elvis movies Kansas Girl. One of my sons is going to be named Presley. Again, Im not kidding. lol

  9. ladebra says:

Totally OT, but if you love cathedrals as much as I do, the clicking is worth it, IMO

  10. boston02127 says:

    Dear Luluplus3,

I’d like to address last nights blog. Two of the pictures that I sent were labeled offensive and deleted by you. When I noticed that the pictures were deleted and read that you had posted the following…… “My apologies to those with disabilities. The offensive photo with the prothstetic leg was posted without my knowledge”.

This made me feel uncomfortable thinking that I had offended someone. I posted an apology to you but after I thought about it I felt that you were calling me offensive.

Since Lynn started this blog I have sent hundreds of pictures with quotes (talk bubbles) and have never been accused of being offensive. Snarky, goofy, silly, but never offensive.

The picture that I posted of “the leg” is the exact picture that Bravo posted on the internet weeks ago. I added the quote “RHONY CHAT, Let’s kick it up”.

Aviva has joked many times about her leg. (see tweets below) She’s whipped it off on national TV to get a pedicure. She’s wrote a book and titled it Leggy Blonde. She has talked about her prosthetic leg too many times to count. She has been very open about it and has often joked about it along with the other ladies on the show. I’m sure that if she didn’t want Bravo to air her leg flying across a room it would of been edited out.

Evidently you found the picture that I posted of George offensive too. It was also deleted by you. For those who didn’t see it, it was a picture of George with his tongue sticking out. I added a “talk bubble” that read…..”Hello Ladies, Don’t fight over me, there’s enough of me to go around” Offensive? We’ve been joking about George for over a year. We’ve joked that the first to post on the newest blog “gets George”.

Bravo’s shows are 95% about drunks, talks of bl*w jobs and men’s privates. Back stabbing, lying and cheating women. People who commit federal offenses. Fist fights. Vulgar language and vulgar behavior. Basically a handful of classless humans. And I’m offensive?

I think we all come to this blog to joke at each others tongue in cheek sarcasm. We come to laugh. We don’t come here to hurt or insult anybody. I don’t see myself as an offensive person.
Like I stated above, snarky, goofy, silly, yes. But never intentionally hurtful towards others. Period.

In the ten minutes that the pictures were posted on the blog did you receive dozens of emails from others complaining about being offended? Or was it you that found it offensive? I’m guessing that there were no email complaints, it was you that freely felt it was okay to call me offensive.

I’m assuming that everything that is posted for the next month must be brought to your attention/knowledge first.

AvivaLeg tweeted~~~~Dear @xxxxx I’m sorry for your concern, however your thoughts are misguided as I adore @AvivaDrescher & @Bravotv

Aviva Drescher tweeted back~~~~@AvivasLeg @xxxxx @Bravotv this is true. Me and @avivasleg are tight. Lol

Also, Just an FYI, Mel had nothing to do with any of the pictures/captions. He’s done nothing but work hard and has freely given a lot of his time for the blog. Sorry for the trouble Mel.

    • ladebra says:

Hi Boston, I thought your captions were funny 🙂

    • chismosa™ says:

I just wrote a whole comment and it disappeared

I was mad I missed the pics. I’m sure there’s some explanation.
Hope you continue to post pics. Xxoo

    • BB says:

Hi, boston. I missed the pictures, but if they were as you described, I can’t see where anyone would be offended, considering what is shown and talked about on television these days, especially the housewife shows.

      • mazelnindy says:

        Hey BB,
Thanks for the blog on RHBH. Always a day late for thanks… DVR screwed up the tape….so today, with the snow is catch up day!! xxoo

    • Jules says:

What was offensive about anything you described? I don’t get it. here I was late to the party last night and thought the apologize was for having to see the photo of Aviva . just for being a photo of her. AND apologizing to those with disabilities because Aviva was representing them on TV.
      Joke was on me.

    • mazelnindy says:

You have always been funny….never offensive!!
I think the blog should decide what is offensive not one person.
      Just my 2 cents.

    • MelTheHound - Team T-Rex says:

It is no trouble Boston but thank you. The three of us who are posting blogs are still feeling the way to work together around here. There are bound to be a few bumps in the road and hiccups. Such as I probably should have asked before adding the pics.

Chismosa, not sure what happened to your comment.. If you google Aviva’s Leg, you will find a pic of it laying there on the floor. Add Boston’s caption to it in a text bubble as if the leg is speaking, and there you go.

    • plainviewsue says:

Your pictures and captions are always a highlight!! Not offensive at all!

    • ramonacoaster says:

I thought it was one of the funniest pics last night.

    • SJNYC says:

Never offended by your pictures or captions and never took them as serious commentary but as the snarky, goofy fun they were intended. If we are going to have to be politically correct and having to edit ourselves then it is nice knowing you guys I will go back to lurking.

    • Just Wondering In Jersey says:

Boston you have never been offensive. If you were my daughter I would be so very proud of you.

      • TrashyT says:

I second Just Wondering’s comment…. I always look forward to your witty creations.

        • 2Stupid says:

It always makes my day to see a comment by Boston. She is probably one of the least offensive young girls I know. I hope my daughter can be half as respectful and grounded. No one here would ever think of you as offensive.

    • kit9 says:

      Not offensive at all

    • Powell says:

Boston I love your pics. They are hilarious to me.

    • Eastbayca says:

Saw the two pictures that were deleted and nothing offensive about them. Seen worse on twitter on those two very subjects.
Is the blog being censored and what are the rules that mustn’t be broken by posters and those who write blogs?

    • NYC Mama says:

You photos and captions are always comical and bring a smile to my face Boston.

    • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

Who is Luluplus3 and why haven’t they responded?? I am so confused, I thought Mel was running the blog while Veena was gone?

      • MelTheHound says:

There are 3 authors who make posts here at the blog. Luluplus3 is one of them. She typically will be posting the let’s chat blogs on HoWives night. She also has done some shows, like Couple’s Therapy for the blog. At some point, she may be blogging other shows. I am not running things in NMD’s absence but helping to do so, as Lulu (I assume the plus3 is her husband and 2 kids). I am not going to speak for why she hasn’t responded. Nor do I expect her to respond. I would really like to chalk this up to a misunderstanding at worse and not have it be a whole big thing.

        • Oh I had no idea she posted blogs before, maybe bc I don’t read couples therapy?? Anyway thats why I asked, I thought maybe it was a troll and thats why they weren’t responding but I get now that I totally misunderstood. I thought only you could remove things or NMD. But I am clear now. 🙂 Its not a big thing to me Mel, I always seem to miss when things happen, lol but there a lot of other posters who responded to Boston so maybe you should tell everyone its not a big thing and not me, you might get a platinum star. 😉

p.s. Boston whatever you posted I’m sure was funny

          • MelTheHound - Team T-Rex says:

DJP, We had a troll yesterday but it certainly is not Lulu. She in fact has been here longer than I have. Until the last few episodes of Couple’s Therapy in fact, Lulu and her husband both wrote blogs for the show. His and Hers sort of thing. Maybe you will remember her as the one who, with Nancy, would take over the blog comments when the show, Masters of Sex would come on.

            • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

Oh really?!? Man!! See?? I always miss everything. I probably should just stop working and make the blog my full time job! lol. Oh ok thanks for pointing her out, I do remember Nancy and another poster commenting a lot about that show. And now that you said her husband as well, I remember better. Did you erase the troll comments?? I wanna see! lol

              • MelTheHound - Team T-Rex says:

Some of her comments were relevant so I left those. Some however were direct attacks on posters, including myself, those got bounced. NMD, this morning, kicked her out completely but the comments that were .left are still there I believe.

    • Pghemtchick says:

Weighing in to say, I giged at the pictures-minus George. Cause well, it’s George lol. Had nothing to do with your “snark bubbles” I really like that phrase-snark bubble! Reminds me of the Snorks somehow… Lol anyways, keep it up, Boston!

On the other hand, I get what Lulu’s actions in a way. We all look at the world differently, and that’s 100% cool. With time, I think the posters will be spot on 100%. Kudos for picking up the blog while Veena is in the Gondola! Lol. Hope she’s making lots of memories to share and well..the other kind 🙂

    • They were completely non-offensive and fun – just like always. Not sure what the fuss is about…

    • Amber...Real Wife says:

Don’t stop believing…. post all the pics you want… we’ll keep receiving…. ooooo oooo oooo oooo…

Gas explosions in 2 buildings…Grand Central shut down-debris on tracks maybe??
NYC and SJ is this anywhere near you guys-stay safe!!!

      • SJNYC says:

I live on 53rd and work on 42nd so I am good and I think NYCMama is downtown. My aunt from Virginia just called to see how I was and told me. Metro North goes under Park Avenue so I am sure there is debris and/or they want to check the structural soundness of the tunnel. Thanks for thinking of me

        • laineylainey says:

THANK you for checking in…have we heard from NYCMama? New Yorkies, please check in with us!

          • SJNYC says:

I could swear NYCMama said she was further downtown from me when we were talking Peking Duck House. To give perspective it was on 116th Street and I am on 53rd so a couple miles sounds close to most but in NYC it is like being in a different state. Although if the tracks are compromised that will impact a lot of folks. You never know but right now CNN is reporting only minor injuries.

        • chismosa™ says:

          I used to work on 53rd !

And my mom used to work for Iberia on the same block in the 1960s. Cartier and the puma (?) for christmas ….

Cartier is either 52 or 53 I forgot

          • SJNYC says:

Small world. I worked on 53rd & 6th for years and live across the street from the a certain landmark skyscraper on 53rd featured prominately in the RHONY intro graphic.

            • chismosa™ says:

Yeah …..I’m never going to figure that out.

I always kid at my father and brother and point at the queensborough and say “that’s the Verrazano right ?”

Or point at the triboro and say “that’s the Brooklyn bridge right ?”
              To be funny.

          • me too! I used to work at 10 East 53rd 🙂

        • chismosa™ says:

I hope the real Sarah Jessica P is safe as well.
          She’s in the village though

      • NYC Mama says:

I am all the way downtown at the moment (at the 9/11 memorial). Thanks for your concern everyone!!

        • chismosa™ says:

Oh wow ….. At the museum? Or you work down there ?

          • NYC Mama says:

chismosa, the museum hasn’t opened yet but the Memorial is as is the 9/11 Tribute Center which is where I am now working. They finally convinced me to come on board as an employee. 🙂

            • chismosa™ says:

Sorry meant memorial – brain fart

How lovely yet bittersweet. Good for you

            • Powell says:

              That’s great you’re working there.

              • NYC Mama says:

The Tribute Center is a very special place and very different than the museum will be.

                • SJNYC says:

I have never visited the site. I was in the building the week before and my SIL worked in 7 World Trade and it still makes me very sad to think about it. Thanks for working down there it takes a special person to be there.

                  • NYC Mama says:

Lost many family and friends there SJNYC so it took a while to be able to bring myself to come down here but between the memorial and the Center they both honor those who died as well as celebrate those who came to help and the spirit of a community so in fact, it is inspiring to be down here. Hope you come down one day. They will be removing the fence from around the memorial shortly — it is a beautiful place.

                  • Powell says:

My mother worked in that bldg many moons ago when Chase Manhattan Bank was in the bldg. She used to catch the train right down there. I remember going to work with her on weekends when I was 4/5 yrs old.

                • Powell says:

When it’s all finished my mom and I plan on taking the train up so we can see it all, stay in a hotel and do some shopping. I haven’t been back in yrs. Sometimes I miss living there. Especially now w/so much more going on.

    • chismosa™ says:

I just ran to tell my family because that’s the way we travel into the city.

      Thanks Boston!

    • laineylainey says:

      Oh no…. praying.

    • BB says:

      Praying for anyone injured.

  11. Good morning everyone! Thank you Empress for your recap. As for Boston’s pictures I did not find them offensive at all. They were clever and funny. Censorship is something Lynn frowned upon and I know Lynn would not have been offended by Boston’s captions. Lets remember that we are all welcomed here.

Good morning everyone! I didn’t watch NY last night because I’m a little scared that it’ll be another franchise that goes to hell. I do love reading the comments. I’ll watch the episode later on to catch up. Thanks for the recaps and all of the daily work and love that goes into these blogs.

Not sure if anyone watches NBA, but my Spurs won again! I think I’m the only South Floridian that hasn’t drank the Lebron koolaid. 🙂

    • chismosa™ says:

Does Tony P still play for the spurs ?he’s a great player.

We need to put NY into perspective. THAT franchise went to $hit the last season the red demon was on. That IMO was the worst ever.
The season with Cindy who and the countess breaking the camel’s back.

Anything from there is UP ….
      (Except Aviva of course )

      • Foxymel11(Mel) says:

Good Morning Chismosa! Yes, Tony Parker is still on The Spurs as well as Tim Duncan and Ginobali.

Lol at the red demon. You know she’s watching this new season in slow mo, with her eye twitching. I hope this new chick Kristen isn’t a train wreck like her BFF!

        • chismosa™ says:

I checked JZ’s twitter acct – ALL her photos are of OLD DAYS ON RHs

I’m kind of worried for her. Maybe she’s going through an existential crisis.
Really – ALLLLLL her photos. !!!!

          Those are three great players.

Ps I hate Carmelo Anthony / I like the nets not the Knicks
          I’m not from Brooklyn

          • Powell says:

Chismosa she’s still living back in the good ole days. I don’t think she’ll ever, never, ever got over being fired. She had a long-term plan for her life as a NY HW and it got smashed into a million pieces.

    • laineylainey says:

      We love the Spurs!

      • Foxymel11(Mel) says:

Woohoo! 🙂 best franchise out there. They really look out for their team and I just adore them ever since David Robinson.

        • laineylainey says:

My hubs got to sit almost courtside a couple of weeks ago when they played (and beat) the Pistons. He had so much fun!!!

          • Foxymel11(Mel) says:

What a great experience for him! I got nose bleed seats here pre game vs. Heat last. Oct. Just not the same. Lol

I am hoping The Spurs will win the Finals this year. I almost had a heart attack last year. My husband is a Heat fan when The Spurs are not playing.

            • laineylainey says:

Yes, it was a great experience. A very good friend of his (hubby) is a recruiter (business executive, not sports) and he helped some guy get hired by the Spurs organization so that’s how they got those juicy tickets. He was on cloud 9. My son really wants to get in on that juicy deal. fingers crossed!

              • Foxymel11(Mel) says:

That is wonderful! I can’t wait until my two boys are older to enjoy a basketball game or whatever they want to do. 🙂

    • jezzibel says:

When Tony Parker was married to Eva Longoria, everywhere outside of Texas it was Eva Longoria’s husband Tony Parker, but here in Texas(especially San Antonio) it was Tony Parkers wife Eva Longoria. Locally fans would be almost shoving her out of the way to get a picture with him, I think thats why she hated it here so much, and wanted him to play for the NY team…SA being such a small town I have friends who knew them and interacted with them both socially, I’d even seen them once before when they were dating or newly married at Central Market, he was gracious, she was a pill.

      • Foxymel11(Mel) says:

Hi Jezzibel! I’m not sure why I always thought she was from Texas near San Antonio? Thanks for giving me some juicy details. Tony Parker along with that team are a gem. Not arrogant and and they’re very humble. I just enjoy that sports organization so much. 🙂

        • laineylainey says:

She IS from Texas!! She grew up on a ranch near Corpus Christi!! Texas Gal through and through!!

Now they are saying at least two have died. They need to stop reporting on deaths and injuries until they know for sure. 😦

  19. BB says:

If this has already been posted sorry for the duplicate. I knew Jill had to watch Ramona on Bethenny! (Lying in her bed, with Ginger’s tongue up her nostril.) lol. I hope this link works.

  20. NMH says:

I started the season by watching the last 2 shows from last season. By doing that, I really saw how Aviva comes off looking like she’s playing a game. I’m not saying that for sure is what she’s doing, but last season she was doing nothing but spouting hatred for Sonja and Ramona. Now she comes back all lovey dovey for them, I’m just not buying it. She obviously realized how bad she came across and is trying to fix it. If it works, who knows. I’m just dreading the presence of her dad again, and previews show it’s going to be bad.

Overall I enjoyed the episode and am glad Carole and Heather are good friends as they’re my fav right now (even tho Carol is friends w/Yolanda).

  21. I enjoyed NY last night. I think if I say, “That’s it, it’s over?” then it’s a good episode cuz it leaves me wanting more. HOLLA!!! Off to paint trim and there is a Hoarders episode on, so it doesn’t get too much better than that. The high is supposed to be 76 and this Sunday it could get up to 86, life is good!

  22. T-Rex says:

First off THANKS EMPRESS FOR THE BLOG! You rockit Lady!! Secondly, did I miss it or is DrunkenRamona thinking about taking back that LetharioMario??? Seriously, please tell me that alchohol-rattled brain of hers still has a cell or two left telling her that this will never work! Once a cheat at this stage of their lives, he will rinse, lather and repeat! Sorry but it’s the truth, and let’s be real, who here thinks this was his FIRST affair? This was just the first one he got CAUGHT at!

    • BB says:

She might take him back knowing he will stray (as long as it’s very discreet). Unfortunately there are women who knowingly put up with it (cough, cough, ex first lady, cough, cough).

    • Thanks, T-Rex, but you’re the one who rocks. I’ve been following your journey with that hateful disease and you’ve brought me to tears with your courage and attitude. Keep on keepin’ on, girl. You’re a true inspiration.

    • Powell says:

My mother was asking me about Ramona. She used to watch NY and Bethenny’s spin-off s. She said maybe Mario will dump the GF. I said I don’t care but I hope Ramona doesn’t take him back. Avery isn’t a little girl, Mario disrespected Ramona and she deserves better.

  23. T-Rex says:

OT- THE CANCER UPDATE! Couple of folks have emailed so figure I would post for the masses my update, and for those that don’t care, you can move along down the blog. Well, finally got stuff straightened out at Moffitt Cancer Center and had my first trip to the INFUSION lab, this is where they hide the GOOD NURSES! I got there for my blood work ahead of schedule they took that, then informed me that Infusions were running an hour behind, no worries had my Tablet, and phone and as Long as they let me know I was fine. Place was PACKED! In my wait time they heard this was my first time there, so a kindly nurse called me and gave me a tour of the INFUSION area, that was really nice! I will be taking a product called ZOMETA to strengthen my bones and thankfully only need this once a month for sixth months, then they decide whether to keep it once a month or every other month at that point, I will be taking this for years, or until they find something better. What’s great it only takes about 35 minutes from sticking the needle to flushing the lines with saline and out the door! I had my own room, a TV with cable, they had snacks and drinks(I had some gatorade), and it’s own bathroom! They gave me the run down on the side effects which they said would happen quickly, I would be feeling flu-like and achy this morning if I was going to experience anything, and I feel great no side effects! However, I researched my calcium supplements and have been taking them for 2 weeks, so that probably helps. My scar for the Thyroid is almost invisible already, I keep proudly showing it off to nurses and staff, random folks on the street(just kidding) to show how great it’s looking. I am healing WAY ahead of schedule, because I keep telling everyone I am not as sick as they thought and everything they have given me has WORKED, I am beating this crap into submission!! So, have another appointment on Friday to schedule the radioactive Iodine treatment, and see the Oncologist next Tuesday for my monthly checkup. I feel AMAZING, haven’t felt this good in months, still have the cane at work, but at home, no cane. Oh, and the nurses at INFUSION learned a trick from me that they may pass along, as you know I am PollyannaUPBEAT, everyone just loves the attitude, well, when they were loading up the Zometa I was talking to it, yep talking TO the medicine. I told it what it was supposed to do, and what it wasn’t supposed to do, and needed it to make sure it understood it’s J-O-B. Now, of course this makes me sound crazy, but the nurses thought it was great!!! They were going to suggest that their CHEMO patients, especially the little ones, to do this, I told them it gives the patient some sense of Control in an out of control situation! I thought it’s a great visualization tool too, just to get your body to go into fight mode along with the medicine. Oh and they had this GINORMOUS BELL and you only get to ring that when you are COMPLETELY done with your treatments, I cannot WAIT to RING that bell, and going to sing that song RING MY BELL at the same time, HA!!!

    • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

    • Powell says:

😀 Oh T-RexKickingCancer. Thks for updating us. I’m so happy your doing well and handling this like a champ. Your room sounds very comfortable and soothing. Love the visualization you do. Of course my iron infusions are nothing compared to what you’re going thru but I kind of do the same thing but to myself. I talk to the needle and watch it as the nurse is putting it in. That way I don’t feel it. It works for me so I’m glad your trick works for you and it’s great the nurses will try telling others your trick. I’m looking forward to you telling us you RANG that BELL.

      • T-Rex says:

Powell, actually the actual INFUSION literally took like 20 minutes tops! Took her five minutes to find a good vein, I have what they call “moveable veins” they look all nice and tasty to those “blood-suckers” then they move away! HA! After the 20 minute INFUSION they then did a five minute saline “clean out” to make sure all the good juice got into the veins. So I didn’t even get to finish the end of the Criminal Minds episode I was watching on the TV as it was done in almost 35 minutes!

        • Powell says:

They find my veins in 1 second. Arms, the back of my hands. No problem at all. My infusions take over an hr. I have to get benadryl first to help w/swelling. The iron makes My hands and feet will swell. I can actually feel it when it’s happening. Then I get the iron. I’m glad your infusion is short. I’m w/cancer patients and many sit for hrs on end. You’re doing really well. I’m truly happy for you. T-RexKickingCancerintheButt. 😀

I caught up with the NY ladies. I hope it continues to be lighthearted and silly. I know I sound nuts but Aviva is wonderful to have as a villain. Unlike despicable me Brandi. I really think that Aviva is very confident and after seeing her leg on the floor…..I think she’s not taking herself too seriously which is nice.

Don’t like the new HW Kristen. She thinks it’s cool to be stupid as long as you’re pretty. She’s gave her husband shit for being a little late from work, while she has a nanny watching her kids. I understand that’s normal in NYC. I may be hating on her a little because I am a stay at home mom of two with no help.

I like Sonja’s attitude towards letting it to and move on with Aviva. That is a nice trait to have. I think the real scum of the show will be Aviva’s dad, so I can’t wait to see what happens!

    • Powell says:

Well I don’t know if I would call Adiva confident. Hmmmm. I don’t know about that Foxymel. To me Adiva is a “fake it til you make it” kinda girl. I say that because she has soooo many phobias. Who’s afraid of heights but has a Miami vaca condo on the 50th floor or whatever it is? Who has so many phobias that they constantly talk about their phobias unit they make themselves sick about their own phobias? I don’t know.

      • Foxymel11(Mel) says:

Hi Powell! I forgot about all her phobias. The reason I found her to be confident was because she is in a teeeeny weeny bikini and doesn’t let her leg get in the way. I think she may have some PTS after her accident and may use her phobias to get sympathy when she turns into crazy. I still would prefer her over Brandi (accept her gross dad).

        • Powell says:

She does a great job not letting her leg slow her down or get in the way. With that you’re right she does carry confidence well. I’m sure she has PTS and I can understand the phobias because of the accident but I don’t understand always talking about the phobias, putting them out there for everyone to be aware of all the time. When she’s that Adiva I don’t see confidence.

          • Foxymel11(Mel) says:

Powell, I just read about the treatments you’re getting. Wishing you the best too! Hoping you feel better. 🙂

            • Powell says:

Thks Foxymel. I’ve been getting them for many many yrs now. Unfortunately that’s my lot in life. But you do what you have to do. 😀

    • Sonja’s positive attitude, despite all of her financial troubles, has always made me like her. She’s just fun to watch!

  25. 2Stupid says:

Well thanks to Ramona, I now have Bravo back in my house full time. I watched it for three hours straight last night. Than Sonja was a nut on WWHL. I don’t think my husband was that pleased with my upgrade when I started watching NY for the second time at 10:30. Oh well, I am like an addict. I may have been gone for a year, but after last night I have the habit again. Can’t wait for Flipping Out tonight.

    • Powell says:

How was her burlesque? The guy from Revenge said he was looking for to it. All these actors, entertainers, big biz people Andy is having on, if they didn’t watch HWs I bet they had to take a look at an epi to see what the madness is all about.

      • 2Stupid says:

It was pretty bad, but I think she owned that she had just really made it up. She is in on the joke thought. That’s what I like about Sonja. She teared up talking about Ramona and Mario and how close she and Ramona are.

        • Powell says:

I like Sonja cuz she’s fun too. I just wish she wouldn’t sleep around and would dump the kids, toy boys. If she’s looking for a rich man to take care of her she needs to stop acting like a sl*t.

      • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

The burlesque was painful…that’s all I can say!!

        • trudie says:

        • T-Rex says:

I will say it again she is turning into Grey Gardens. it’s so sad, she is sleeping with all these boys that just want to go out and brag that they nailed that OLD BROAD from RHoWives, these guys don’t care about her, just want the notch in their belt! Of course the old guys with the money aren’t going to want her cause she’s soiled goods, and frankly she only wants them for their money and they know it. Plus, she isn’t all that smart which doesn’t help her cause. She unfortunately has played the BIMBO all her adult life, and while you are young and pretty that works, she is still very pretty, but now she is very USED goods, and she is past her prime. Mr, Morgan rescued her from a very precarious position she found herself in being I think named in a few divorces as the “Hostest with too much of the MOSTest” as she offered more than good tables from what has been said about her Hosting days. He was so infatuated with her, still wonder what happened to make him leave her high and dry, although I hear he does dote on their daughter and isn’t a deadbeat dad.

    • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

That whole thing is just so weird to me. On one hand she’s a nightmare for doing that, and on the other hand they raised her to be like that more than likely so who knows?? They probably all deserve each other. She’s still very young hopefully they all learn from this.

    • Powell says:

HA! What did she do that for, Miss independent? Let me read. Thks BB.

    • Powell says:

LOL BB. Now they want privacy. Mmmmm mmmm mmmm. I’m glad the judge is being careful w/his decision in April cuz he’s right. Do we want a 13 suing their parents for an Xbox or iPhone?

    • T-Rex says:

I would hope there had been some “family counseling” and this BRAT realized how good she really has it with these parents who seem to love her! Having an “outsider” interfere and actually bring the lawsuit was a huge problem in my opinion. I am glad to hear she is now home with her parents, and that they took her back, as they should because at 18 most folks are morons, I know I was, you know EVERYTHING at 18 you are friggin genius level, ugh, again that’s what I thought, then you realize later on what an friggin IDIOT you actually were about some things. I really do hope these folks become a better family after all of this and keep this crap private and out of the court systems!

      • Orson says:

Since she was an adult when she sued her parents, I don’t think her parents should have any obligation to make good daughter’s legal fees to her attorneys.

  26. Cristina (djprincessc) says:

I posted about this late last night so I don’t think anyone really saw but the trailer for the OC ladies is up. It actually looks good! And it looks like Heather is going to be ganged up on lol. When is it Tamras turn??

    • Powell says:

Hey DJP. How ya doin gurl? 🙂 Thks for posting that. The video wouldn’t play for me. 😦 The 2 newbies are pretty. Tamra won’t be happy not being “the hottest housewife in OC”. 🙂 So hawdy tawdy Heather will the ladies not liking her huh? I don’t like Heather but I don’t want to see a Lisa type of hate thrown at her for trivial things.

      • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

Thanks Cristina-I just watched!! OMG why is Brooks back-ewwww so gross!! Heather looks like she is in the hot seat this season!!

        • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

You’re welcome!! I was dreading OC and then I saw the clip and was like ohhhhh shit, this looks good! lol. Brooks is soooo gross Idk why Vicky can’t stay away?? Like Carole from NY said about Harry this guy must have a big C**k. I am just soooooo happy that Slade will be gone!!!!! 🙂

        • Powell says:

I’m gonna be bad. But his “Wick” , love that T-Rex, must does a body good. 😉

      • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

        Hi Powell!!! I miss you!!

I don’t like the gang up thing either but I think in this case Heather deserves it, she is soooo snotty and acts like she is above it all. Like Yolanda. Heather didn’t have a problem ganging up against Alexis last season so I guess its her turn?? lol. I don’t think Teresa, Lisa, Alexis deserved the gang ups but there are a couple who I think would benefit from one 😉

Lets see if Yolanda or Brandi can handle a gang up next, seeing as how Brandi is so gangster. lol

        • Powell says:

I miss you too. 🙂 I left you a “hey” Sunday or Monday eve. I hope you’re doing well. No more pain and nasty flu.

          • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

You did?!? Awwww I didn’t see! Oh yes my flu has been gone for a while now!! Praying that I never get that horrible strain again. Not too many people are sick anymore so things have calmed down a lot. I hope you are doing well! xo!

  27. Powell says:

Hey all. I’m watching NY again. Get the nuances of what I missed last night. 😀

  28. Eastbayca says:

They is a tiff on twitter between Adiva and Carole/Heather…

  29. Eastbayca says:

Adiva is claiming the girl (Amanda Sanders- image consultant) she came with to Heather’s party was hired by production to be a “friend”…what happened to Adiva’s friends?

  30. Cristina (djprincessc) says:

Wheres Lainey!?!?!?! Laaaiiiineeeeyyyyy!!! I miss you!!! ❤

  31. not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

Empress-great blog..I cracked up at “baubles for blow-jobs”….but shes preeeetyyyy!

  32. ladebra says:

Just saw of twitter that Kandi and Todd got a wedding spin off …. How come this doesn’t surprise me? Bet Mam Joyce is sending Bravo a little token of her appreciation (tic rock tic rock) (too obscure?)

    • ladebra says:

Oh gosh, I’m having your day Lainey! …. Tic tock Tic tock

      • LaineyLainey says:

Hahahaha!!! I was wondering…tick rock? I thought it was a cool way of saying tick tock. Sorry my typos are contagious! Haha

    • Powell says:

Ladebra I’m not surprised. Kandi was probably angling for it the whole time. That’s why they aren’t married yet. I will watch epis that have mama Joyce acting a fool. If she want to continue to act an assistant and end up not having a close relationship w/ Kandi any longer, possibly not see Riley when she wants to and not see future grandchildren then she can keep acting a fool.

    • T-Rex says:

This was a no brainer, the THUGS-R-US-FightingHoesofAtlanta, has the highest ratings there have been two wedding spin-offs, I don’t think anyone had to twist Bravo’s arm to create a Kandi wedding spin-off. In fact, they may have hastened their nuptials by dangling the spin-off to them. Bravo has already tried to spin Kandi into a show twice now, and again this was a no brainer, I always knew that whenever she decided to marry she would definitely have a spin-off

    • chismosa™ says:

The two of them are so boring to me but I guess BECAUSE of the mama Joyce drama it’s guaranteed.

I hope this sticks in Kim’s craw.

  33. ((((((((((All My New Yorkers)))))))))) I watched a special on the Twin Towers Center/Museum and sobbed the whole time, I don’t think I would be able to go in person. I remember thinking that day that I was glad my Dad wasn’t alive to see it, New York was his lady love 😦 It’s the only time I have felt that way about his passing…..

    • Powell says:

      Awww PrincessP.

    • nyc mama says:

Hi PP hugs back to you!!!!!!!!, Thanks but we are almost 13 years later so the wounds have healed even if the scars are there. Many students weren’t born yet so 9/11 is their Pearl Harbor but what is amazing is that there is nothing in the school curriculum that teaches about the events in 2001 so we now run programs for teachers to help them..

Just to clarify what many are confused about. The 9/11 Tribute Center is not the new museum which hasn’t opened yet. The Center was started in 2005 by the 9/11 Families Assn. and is a place where survivors, first responders, family members and others who were here come to support each other and to educate the public because there is so much misinformation out there. With all the bureaucracy surrounding the museum no one knew when or even if the museum was going to open so the Center was opened and has been educating and comforting people every since. The difference between the two is the new museum will be “stuff” and is a repository for many things relating to the tragedy but the Center was started by the people and is about the people, the events but also the amazing response from the world, We have been collecting and preserving the stories for years and in fact, the museum is using many of our testimonials and now that we started videotaping them will use that as well as we move forward. We will also be doing joint programs with them and we will be partnering with them on many things.

I will shamelessly plug it here because it is such a great place and everyone (who can handle it) should come.

I swore I wasn’t going to work again but I couldn’t turn this opportunity down.

Your Dad would have been proud of his love, NYC, during that time.

      • LaineyLainey says:

Thank you for sharing that with us. You’re doing good work.

      • SJNYC says:

My aunt and uncle are coming up from virginia next month and want to visit the site so I will finally visit. It still startles me when coming back in Manhattan and seeing the new tower or looking downtown from work and seeing it. Good work you are doing.

      • not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

NYC-I was looking at the site earlier today-I’m going to take Annabelle (my 13 year old) down in the spring-she is very interested in seeing it all.

      • Jan (TexasTart) says:

Very interesting. It warms my heart to hear what the center is doing. It’s admirable you have taken this on, NYC mama. 🙂

        • nyc mama says:

Thanks Jan but nothing admirable, I was lucky and given an unbelievable opportunity.

Ladies and tuckers, give me a heads up before you come and i will try to arrange something special if possible and if you take one of our tours of the memorial i will make sure you are led by someone special.

          • nyc mama says:

We are launching a new website either this week or next with lots of new content so take a look, oh, and like us on FB. 🙂

          • chismosa™ says:

            That’s great work NYC mama.
The facts are there is a LOT sorely missing in global studies and history classes in the entire country. I hope this changes soon but I don’t hold out hope at all. Our children/ youth will still rank among the lowest worldwide in education and I don’t see anything changing for generations 😦

I’m following the greek church being rebuilt down near the towers so I may wind up visiting the church when it’s built.

It’s 13 yrs but I remember that day like it was last week and it’s crazy. What I wore, the exact weather, the dust, the walking down 7th avenue like it was a sidewalk

            Thanks for your hard work!

      • That is so awesome, I am glad that you are able to give to this project! I have the best stories that my Dad told me about growing up in the Bronx and before he enlisted in what was then know as The Army Air Corps, before there was an Air Force. Plug away, no shame what so ever!!!!!

      • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

The fact that NOTHING is taught about 9/11 in schools infuriates and disgusts me.

        • nyc mama says:

A lot of people agree which is why the educational component was started. We work with a lot of schools; honor teachers who creatively teach the subject with our Teacher Awards and we have a program where our volunteers who are suvivors, family members, NYPD, NYFD, etc. Skype with kids across the country and they discuss what happened but also important how people responded and are recovering. .

          • 2Stupid says:

Is information about that on your site? I would love for my children to have that experience at their school. Last year they skyped with an active military person and we always have a special mass, but that type of information/expereince would be exceptional.

            • NYC Mama says:

Yes, all the information is there under educational programs. Our new site is going up in about an hour and is easier to navigate than the current one. All the kids that have participated in this have loved it.

      • shamrockblonde says:

thank you princess P and NYC mama – I have been down there once – it was windy and it seemed as though you could hear the voices of those murdered whispering all around you – I found my cousin’s name and ran my fingers over it remembering his funeral and the kind words that then Mayor Guilliani spoke – to me it always seemed a small miracle that during the cleanup and rebuild, there was never any sort of severe weather to hamper the efforts of all those brave people working tirelessly down there – and yes, Princess P, your Dad would have been so very proud of the way that NY came together and stood as one in defiance of evil – over 2,000 people murdered – because we live free – never forget –

        *hugs lynnfam really hard*

    • Cristina (djprincessc) says:

I am not a New Yorker and 9/11 makes me so emotional. More emotional than any other event, war or shooting. I think bc it is the first MAJOR thing that happened during my generation. I can’t even describe the way it makes me feel actually. ((((PP))))

      • (((DJP))) I think my kids feel the same way, the TV was on and I remember my son saying “Mommy another plane hit a building” and I said, “Oh honey that’s just a replay” and he said, “No mommy!” It was just devastating and it was his best friends birthday and there had been a banner strung on his garage by some girls and the mom and dad went and took it down. Too many feels….

  34. Powell says:

I’m watching The Property Brothers on hgvt. Love the twins. Very handsome. They have a couple looking for a home and they have specific needs for their kitchen because they’re Jewish and when they cook they keep dairy and meat separate. So they want their new kitchen setup Kosher so they have a separate dairy side and meat side of the kitchen, which means multiple sinks, ovens, cook tops. I had never heard of a Kosher kitchen setup. I like it.

    • T-Rex says:

I work with a gentleman that keeps a fully Kosher Home and they have everything separate. He likes coming to Tampa because when he is here, we get to eat out Vegetarian Foods, since Vegetarian items for the most part are Kosher, as Dairy and Meat never touch at the places I take him. My great-grandmother was Jewish but didn’t keep Kosher, but lived in a part of Skokie that has the Red Wire to show the I think it’s called an ERUV area of a lot of Kosher folks, I know the next door neighbors were completely KOSHER.

      • Powell says:

I love the idea. The kitchen came out fantastic.

      • I had a friend in college and his mom kept a Kosher kitchen and he use to always put me up to (I was so game for it) asking if I could help in the kitchen, lololololol!!!!! She would freak out, it was so funny. “Do you want me to do this, should I put this in this dish?” Poor woman, I was trolling back then!!!

    • chismosa™ says:

Powell you should watch one of my fave cheesy 1990s movies with Melanie Griffith –
“A Stranger Among Us” – where she has to infiltrate the Hasidic community as a cop.

      SO interesting !

“A Price Above Rubies” with Renee zellweger is good too.

Late to the blog today. Work out. Work at office. Dr. Pepper to vet for shots. This dog is a mental case. Period.
Kristen was given an “ok” by Carole so I am going to give her more time. I have real issues with women who equate diamonds with bj. Thank you JZ.
Kristen husband Josh is really weird looking. I am assuming he is (a) on a bunch of whatever crap he sells, (b) has had work done, and (c) hormone therapy.
Loving my Ramonacoaster. I am always amazed how great she looks. So jealous. Mario is a moron.
Love Carole and Heather. They are cool.

    • Powell says:

      How’s Dr. Pepper doing?

      • AZGirl says:

Pepper is still fearful of people and aggressive to other dogs. Other than that she is great. I wish I could share how great she is to others but she just is too afraid. She growled and snarled at the vet assistant today. It was not the usual assistant who is more quiet and gentle and Pepper loves her. The assistant today was loud and a little too out going for Dr. Pepper.

    • LaineyLainey says:

What I wonder: Since when did that kind of vulgarity become ok?? You know? I just don’t know anyone who is like that IRL. I mean, there’s girl talk, happy hour talk,…but saying that on t.v.?

    • I just have to say that we have been together for 33 years and Pindy don’t play those games. You give me something or do something because you want to and you are an adult. I will do what I want to and give to you because I am an adult. We don’t keep count. That is so ridiculous, I can’t stand that way of thinking. I mean seriously folks, I married him, isn’t that gift enough, Dude still can’t believe his luck, LOLOLOLOL!!!!

I think viewers are so shell shocked from BH. Next week epis ratings will be better.

      • Jan (TexasTart) says:

Maybe so, Powell. BH was wearing on me. What a dissappointment. As I recall the season preview, that was run often on Bravo didn’t help. I cite George. I recall part of it was women screaming and cursing at one another. Presumably this is Bravo’s new formula for success. 🙄

I realize Tuesday is not a usual HW episode day, but all the same, if NY couldn’t bring big numbers with after a long absence and with their preview hype – I don’t see it getting better from here. And let me say again, new girl Kristen is not a draw, she is no prize!

  37. Powell says:

Watching TMZ. Little People Big World Any and Matt Roloff have separated. That’s sad.

I saw that coming years ago.
He is so insecure and spends and renovates so frivolously-
she is much more of a solid “egg”
His willingness to take chances with the family finances all
while never informing Amy was infuriating to me- how did it make her feel??
They pretty much gave it up years ago and made a final effort decision to give it “one last try”
(they needed to film more because they were bankrupt-tried to re-invent the farm,
      and hopefully themselves)
He also never gave any support or help with the rearing of the children-
the kids were afterthoughts to him(unless they wanted to do a ‘project’ or something
      that actually interested Matt-
all i all – Matt was/is a spoiled little narcissist who didn’t like that Amy rebelled-
I also believe he was unfaithful.

  38. nyc mama says:

It looks like they sanitized all the BH blogs and removed a lot of posts. Bravo’s playing games again. They can erase the words but the seniments are there and they will be fools to disregard the viewers. Pretty much across the board people don’t want to see Brandi, Yo or Kim next year and how they felt about their behavior this year.

    • SJNYC says:

The comments are pretty telling but Bravo tends to do what they want so let’s see if they actually do any change.

Too bad about the photo of Aviva’s stray leg…
I found it hilarious, like the when the Flying Monkeys attacked Scarecrow: “First they took my legs off and they threw them over there! Then they took my chest out and they threw it over there!”

It also brought to mind the notorious Leg Lamp of Christmas Story.

Yep, night one and the 3 strikes she’s “out” with me is still in play. I don’t think this HO-wife will impress me any time soon to like her in the least. Pretty and stupid is NOT a way to go through life!

      • Leslie (SCGirl) says:

T-Rex, You have some very good points on this subject!

It’s her chin. I noticed it, too. Very distracting.

  43. Leslie (SCGirl) says:

Makes me wonder if one of the main reasons Kyle did RHBH was so that she could promote Portia as a child actress? It wouldn’t surprise me, because she has always made sure Portia was a focus of her storyline. I can most definitely see Kyle trying to live through Portia.

  44. RHONY was fun last night, but keep in mind Kristen is apparently a long time friend of Brandi’s. I am withholding judgement until we get further into the season but I think anyone who has kept up with B is probably a dysfunctional person. And she was probably on her best behavior at the beginning of filming. I get that she’s trying to be funny but she’s already trying to hard and crossing lines. Also Aviva is chilling to watch. She is completely calculating and the scene with Ramona really was just shudder inducing. She very clearly and carefully analyzed Ramona and then proceeded through her check list of manipulation and just said what she thought would disarm Ramona, all the while backhanding her. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

    • Mene Seela says:

Aviva is a very sick woman.

    • chismosa™ says:

I COMPLETELY agree with you on Aviva. She is manipulative and disgusting as a person. I hope Sonja MARRIES harry just to ANNOY aviva!
Ramona is on to her and is playing nice for the sake of the show. Can’t wait for Heather and Carole to have at Aviva.

And on twitter Aviva tries to be jokey and funny and all laissez fare when ITS ALL AN ACT. All of it. She’s trash trash trash. Epitome of her “white trash” comment.

As for Kristen, I read some interviews and honestly I think kristen said the stupid tagline in a regular conversation and they took that as her tagline. I noted this weeks ago.
Just like poor wonderful lovey dovey fan fave 🙄 ice skater Joyce-Jacqueline on BH has an insipid TH- it was taken out of context.
I don’t mind kristen because she will tell it like it is. She calls out Heather so that will be cool because I do think Heather emasculates her husband big time.
The Brandi connection, I don’t know.

Kristen said her tagline comment was a knock at the fact that most people believe models are IDIOTS. So she’s making fun of that …. But it’s ok –
I hate Joyce so I get people hating Kristen. I can just watch her wardrobe and be happy. 👀

I’m close to her age so I like seeing how she’s living.
Her hubby is a weirdo. I said that months ago.
She makes funny faces but I am called out on my expressions all the time and don’t have a poker face so I like that. And I laugh as much as I LOL on here !
      People always say I write as I speak- it’s true – #notadullmoment

      • I thought what I saw of Kristen was quite likeable and I got that she is being ironic or sarcastic in her TH and the preeeeety thing. We will just have to wait and see. Seems like Bravo let’s them skate a season and then the real person comes out in subsequent seasons. I mean I used to like Yo and Kyle in their first seasons.

        • chismosa™ says:

Yes. That’s why smart ones are keen on leaving after 1st season …..
But it’s funny I like Heather now and didn’t her 1st year.

Splitting hairs about ghostwriter – (as in TERESA G’s WRITERS and social media handlers) vs CO-writer. IMHO Carole doesn’t need a GW. Teresa does. Don’t see why Aviva would. But who knows.
    Ay ya yay

    • Mene Seela says:

It’s pretty nasty of Aviva to publically accuse an acclaimed author of having a ghost writer.

I gave Carole’s first book to my mom right after my dad died. She often about how it helped her. Carole’s memoir was amazingly well written and at turns humorous & heartbreaking. Not some warmed over self indulgent slop. I’m PO’d at Aviva for even suggesting it!

      • It was really well done and I sobbed. I gave her a pass for the season until the Pirate Booty comment, I thought that was a low blow…..

        • chismosa™ says:

Yes apart from being stoned, a tad holier than thou, not correcting Reid or speaking up against the fat comment, and not correcting Chiclets (all things you all pointed out this week), I’m ok with this bi*ch

      • chismosa™ says:

        Completely agree.

If she went to law school and speaks “many languages” then bit$h doesn’t need a GW!!!!

Did you ever read Year of magical thinking ? Joan didion. Wrote the year both her daughter and husband died. 😦

        • Mene Seela says:

I’m afraid to! And I love Didion. Think I’ll just cry and cry.

          • chismosa™ says:

I started and then didn’t finish.
And I never do that ! her writing is very nice, it was my first didion book

  46. chismosa™ says:

Jill I hope your husband is not working the scene in Harlem ?
I just see so many firefighters. I know he’s not near there

  47. kit9 says:

Omg, Baby Franco and Seth Rogen having a joint rolling contest with Andy on WWHL

    • I would win that contest, even though it has been 28 years, I would make them cry like the little babies that they are!!!

    • chismosa™ says:

I never ever found James Franco all that and his bro is much more handsome but the “headshot” of him for the WWH list of guests was an awful pic so I hope he looks good on the show.
      Will watch later

  48. Survivor is borrrrinnggg!!!!!’

    • Mene Seela says:

I’m not a Survivor watcher so I shocked to learn that coach Jimmy Johnson had been on the show a few seasons ago. How random.

    • NJBev says:

      love you
hate the Avatar. hate it hate it

      • lol, I did it for BB, it’s all her fault, she manipulated me and she is the puppetmaster!!!!! I’m a victim!!!!!!

        • NJBev says:

now Pindy. it’s ok- you can do whatever you want with your Avatar-
please don’t blame BB, as I might have to question whether I believe you
          or not–
the Avatar is funny, it’s a joke, just own it and don’t be like Lisa who can’t own her
sarcastic sense of humor!! maybe if she did , we could all be laughing now!!
It’s all Lisa’s fault, damnit- she should own it!! It’s her fault we can’t laugh anymore!!
          Damn Lisa—-

          xoxo love ya Pinds

  49. NJBev says:

I haven’t seen “Beyonce” with that kindo attotude
all I keep thinking about her is that she said she never saw the “ragmags”-
and that Lisa never put them in Branywines suitcase–
I’m not delusional re:Lisa, but they really have to have a better argument-
Does she have a chip on her shoulder? yup-
did she do 1/2 the crap they accuse her of? not in my Humble opinion.

  50. chismosa™ says:

21 year old dog !????? And was he ever on the show? Does she just make this $hit up?
I know jack Russells tend to be too feisty for small kids.
21 YEARS! I am dreaming of that …..

  51. NJBev says:

    take the lie detector Brandi.
Yolanda, I cannot wait to hear what your husband said to you after watching
    the episodes-
Let’s see, after you sell your house you can buy in BH and we’ll see what kind of an excuse
David gives you for not moving in with you——
Maybe the tweet your ex(father of your children) sent to Lisa and Ken today will give you an idea
of how many people actually buy your BS act-
Yolanda. you. are. a .joke. and the men around you know it-(the women do to, they just
don’t have the balls to tell you)
    epic fail Yoyo.

  52. not THAT Jill -Team T-Rex says:

    • nyc mama says:

Oooh, Lisa’s good. Apparently she can control the minds of 18-49 year olds besides the ladies of BH.

    • chismosa™ says:

I’m so happy Simon is sticking it to Andy.

And also the NY premiere being so low

I hope it just burns him 🔥🔥🔥!

  53. Veena (NMD) says:
