Lynnfam Exclusive: Lisa Vanderpump’s Appearance at BJ’s for LVP Sangria –  Fuschia Faux Fur and Time for Everyone

Ok so here is “Chismosa”‘s review of the (QUEEN) Lisa Vanderpump appearance and signing for her sangria.

I was alone as my dumb friends couldn’t make it. [I’m having issues that go farther back so yeah, they’re dumb!]  I got there late, and the line was going out the door. There were like 5 security guards (???) – maybe from the liquor store ?

The line wrapped around the store– but the store is not that huge It was not INSIDE BJ’s – Diva was right- it’s a small liquor store next to it.

All the women around me were straining our necks to find Lisa and we were so excited.

Some more people came and then it seemed the line was going to go outside and it would be far too late – so the doors seemed to shut. It was about 30 degrees out !  And when we spotted Lisa- I saw a super bright fuschia pink fur coat folded over her chair. Like it was literally burning my retina. Then Lisa put it on, and at one point she said to the crowd “well I didn’t bring Giggy so this will do” or something like that — I’m paraphrasing, I wasn’t that close. It was cute.

We were all chatting because I was on line for maybe 45 minutes.  Everyone was worried we wouldn’t meet or see her.  Some people near me sent their cameras forward with the liquor guys working there to just take Lisa’s picture ! Lol They did eventually reassure us that we would all for sure get to Lisa.

Some of you may know I used to work for trade book publishing – and worked many author events — my theory – is that Lisa had explicitly told her publicists and agents and her liquor “rep” that she didn’t want to RUSH everyone and wanted to truly get to everyone. It’s just a feeling I get. (There was a liquor guy there who spoke to us, he said he oversaw it all or something).  I’ve been to m-a-n-y other events where you are RUSHED and a mandate is put down that you “can’t talk too long” or, “your name is not being personalized” — most only sign their name and that’s it.  Lisa signed everything and personalized it. (She’s left handed !) Her diamond was BLINDING.

I spoke to the other women on line who had gone to see Teresa …… – no words spoken by her, very rushed. Others they went to see I forget, too much in my head- but everyone is as most “”celebs”” are >>> not prone to sitting and chatting with each guest. I think Lisa put a kibosh on rushing people. This is just a personal theory I have. Most people signing also a) don’t personalize with your name or b) have ‘post its’ handed out to people on line to put your name ready in the book (or whatever) so the signer can just quickly get through it. Based on how long we waited to just move 3 feet at a time, Lisa must have truly spoken and listened and posed with every single person.

As we got closer we saw Pandora and Jason working fiercely at the table— lining where Lisa was at the end of. There were all these clear glass (or plastic?) vases laid out with tons of ice and berries and strawberries – all holding the two varieties of the sangria. Jason was busy ! He was filling each cup with ice and berries and passing them along to everyone on line to try out. This was a tasting after all.

Many people posed with Pandora and Jason. They were so kind and totally open to posing and Pandy chatted up anyone around who wanted to talk. I mentioned to her my idea for “Pandy’s Brandy” and she was liking it but said maybe without the name “Brandy” in it.  HA

I told her how much I found her family so lovely and just warm and overall awesome. I used better words than that and she was like “keep talking… Wink wink”
She spoke at length to someone near me about the anti-bullying work she’d done ?
She was so so beautiful. Watching WWH Monday and seeing her, Jason, & Lisa in person – the camera truly adds about 10 pounds.  She looked much thinner – but not superstar anorexic. Gorgeous legs! Jason seemed very nice, totally warm to everyone- he basically did all the ice and berrying of the cups and handed them out. Great host.

I mentioned in a low voice to Pandora – about this “blog” – not sure if she had heard about it – but there are so many blogs out now. So I said that this one was one of the big blogs out there with housewives. One of the initial ‘important’ ones (if not “the”)…. How many of us adore her family but that there were some dissenters and she joked about that but I said no it’s a great wonderful place where we all chat HWs all the time. She told me to send her the blog.

Finally!…Lisa ! She looked busy, a bit overwhelmed, writing everyone’s name personally on every single bottle – and I saw people walking out with cases (!)

Her hair was down, straight, you can see in the photos. Her face— just everyone (>50) talked about how they all wanted the work she’s had done. So tasteful! Gorgeous. When I got to her I mentioned something I had tweeted to her so she could maybe get who I was — and then I did mention this blog that I am sort of “representing” and mentioned Lynn’s name, etc. She didn’t seem to know it- but she gives a good poker face and I don’t know…..
I told her we loved her, blah blah, especially our poster named JILL.

So we quickly took pics because I just felt so bad it was like 25 degrees and she was staying so long for everyone so kindly. So I just told her I loved her, yada yada. She never rushed me. Never.  The woman after me- who I became friendly with on the line then started talking to her and there was a break so I just had to ask if her coat was chinchilla (like JLO, soooooooo not PC, but one of the most expensive furs) or mink – and she was like – “it’s FAUX! yes, touch it”— she told me the designer. Michael something.  She was open and just all around what you’d expect. Welcoming, fun, witty.

Leaving– I was gossiping with some of the younger gals that were leaving with their mom and they were on line with me and they were like “yeah but doesn’t she HAVE to say it’s faux? Right?” And I suppose that’s true. However if you have furs pre— a certain time period I think it’s a little bit socially acceptable. Like, my mother has furs from the ’60s/’70s and you best believe I’m not throwing that stuff away.

Those girls gossiped with me the whole time about the other HWs — events they went to. Teresa – doesn’t talk much, not overly overly nice. They went to Villa Blanca- it’s gorgeous but the food was  meh. They went to Kyle’s store and Kyle was super nice. Ramona is whack. 😦 And this juicy tidbit. The girl told me her uncle or teacher or someone – I forget -grew up with Bethenny in the Long Island town she grew up — it’s about 15 minutes from this place of the signing– and I know the town because about 1/4 of my graduating high school class lived there. Apparently Bethenny got into PHYSICAL brawls with girls on the actual streets. Like, Porsha style. Maybe that’s why Beth never really got into that whole Porsha discussion too much…. I have to do some digging. LOLOLOL. Loved hearing that.
She grew up by wolves, though she is known to have grown in a very upper middle class lovely town, not lacking, and I know because she even mentioned it during one of her first ever WWHL with Andy. And we discussed how she had her sweet 16 on the water – super nice too. I just loved that tidbit. It was good to gossip. These people were from that general area, so the local gossip’s good.

This is all I’ve got. I’m sorry if I rambled, my problem with my college theses was always EDITING down LOL!

Catch you all later to discuss BH!

S29E9 “Gettin’ to Crunch Time”

10 are left…Back at camp Keith calls out Jon & Jaclyn for leading his alliance on and then voting out Josh. Keith, Wes, Reed and Alec have done the math and know they are the minority. I like Keith. He knows it’s not personal, and he thinks outside the box. He speculates if he annoys the majority, draws their votes, and plays his idol, his group has a shot at voting out one of the members of the other alliance.

For the Reward Challenge everyone splits into two teams. 1 vs 1 they will face off on a shaky board. Last one on the board wins a point for their team. First team to 5 wins reward. It starts to rain and makes this challenge a big mud pit! they play to a 4 – 4 tie and Misty and Baylor are up. Baylor wins. Reward is an ocean cruise and food and cocktails. The winning team is Baylor, Jeremy, Reed, Alex and Natalie. Natalie gives her spot to Jon. Jeremy gives his spot to Jaclyn. And they vote Jeremy to Exile.

The reasoning is that Jeremy will be able to look for the idol at Exile… but we all know that Jon has that idol. Wah-Wah. So that didn’t work out so well. Jeremy spends two nights on Exile and concludes that Jon found the idol and didn’t tell anyone.

For the Immunity Challenge, they will unspool a rope, dropping 21 blocks into a basket. First to put the puzzle together and place a flag in the middle of the puzzle wins immunity. They can only use their feet the do the challenge – a Survivor first. The puzzle is a stacked 3 tier, circle on a disk with a flag in the middle. It’s close, but Baylor wins immunity.

Reed goes rouge and goes through Keith’s bag and finds the paper that gives the clue to the immunity idol. He goes to Missy and Baylor and rats out Keith and his idol. He promises that he will vote with Missy and Baylor, just tell him who to vote for, and he lives to fight another day.

Keith discovers the paper is missing from his bag and knows that the element of surprise of his having an idol is blown. He and Wes know they are vulnerable.

Jeremy and Natalie are sure that Jon has an idol but Jon is sticking to his story that he doesn’t have it. And then Jon goes directly to Missy and confesses he has an idol, and doesn’t trust Jeremy and would like him voted out.

At tribal, Jeremy says that to him trust is huge at this point – trust in your alliance. He says Exile was brutal this time around. Jeff asks if there has been any talk of idols because it is day 24 and no idol has been played (we know Rocker had one in his pocket when he left). Jon says he is extremely confident someone has an idol. I was glad to see Jon couldn’t keep a straight face when he said that. And Reed is generally loving all the petty arguments that break out between Wes and Jaclyn and Keith and Jon and Natalie … I think Natalie was just throwing shade on Jon. Anyway… Jeremy is out! And I think the reason was they saw their chance, he was too big a threat, and boom.

Next week is Thanksgiving Eve and I’m going to be in Orlando and not near a computer. I haven’t been able to find out if there is a Survivor that night… but I won’t be near a computer until Sunday. I’m hoping they are airing Thanksgivingy shows and will let you guys know when I find out!

  1. Powell says:

Good morning everyone. It’s soooo cold. 9 feet of snow in Buffalo?!?!?! 😱😱😱😱 Those poor people.
Chismosa, Chismosa, Chismosa!! GREAT PICS! 🙂 Lisa and Pandora are very pretty. Everyone looks like they had a great time. Now let me go read your experience. Thks. 🙂
    Have a great day everyone.

    • HuskerHuny says:

Nine feet in Buffalo? I’ll never say another bad word about snow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than 12-15 inches at one time in my ?? years on this earth. Mind blowing.

Thanks so much Chismosa! Thanks for taking me along with you on this meet and greet. I truly felt like I was there. I like Lisa a whole bunch and it seems like she’s as likable in person as she seems on TV. She authentic and appreciative of those around her.

I have a couple of days off that I have to take before the end of the year. I have a crock pot full of scalloped potatoes and ham so supper will be ready tonight. Now on to some housework – yuck! But I do feel better after it’s done.

      • Powell says:

LOL Husker you’ll never say another bad word about snow. 😀
Mmmmm scallop potatoes. Mmm. I love potatoes. Anything potatoes. 🍟🍠 Mmm!!

        • HuskerHuny says:

You caught me Powell! I did over-speak there a bit. I really have nothing against snow until I have to be out in it. But 6 feet of it at one time really humbles me. And the crock pot is smelling really good right now.

  2. Donna says:

    Good Morning

  3. Veena (NMD) says:

Thank you Chismosa for waiting in the cold to meet Lisa for us. Fantastic writeup, nice and gossipy too – just how I like my stories. B getting into fights – ha. I’m sure it was faux if she said it was –

  4. Veena (NMD) says:

Thank you LADebra – I didn’t like the episode last night – I felt like I missed a critical piece of strategy when Jeremy was voted out – like the cameras didn’t pick it up or something. It was too sudden. And why would Jon want Jeremy gone to hide Jon lying about having the idol when he fessed up about having the idol? Not that I don’t think it was a good move – it’s just the reasoning didn’t make sense to me.

    • TexasTart says:

Oh, so it’s not just me?! I thought I must have dozed off, because I didn’t expect Jeremy at all. I’m bummed he’s out!

LADebra, thanks for the recap! There will be a new episode 11/26.

      • ladebra says:

I thought they were going to force out Keith’s idol, but then some vibe in camp must have tipped off Keith because he wasn’t worried enough to play the idol. I think Missy Saw a chance to vote out Jeremy and swooped.

So, poop, there isn’t any wY for me to blog Survivor on the 26th. I am flying back to Los Angeles on Sunday. After a 5 hour flight I am pretty sure I won’t be trying to catch up on Survivor. I’m sorry but I can double down on the following Survivor.

        • NJBev says:

          Thanks for the blog, LA-
I felt the same way about the editing-
I noticed during the food challenge that 1/2 way
through it, I think when Jon and Jeremy went?, that
it completely stopped raining and the sun came out,
in 2 seconds? There was a big piece chopped out.
I think they stopped filming b/c the rain was so bad?
I never saw it coming for Jeremy either. I can’t STAND
Keith, like a little sniveling snake, his eyes bugging out.
I thought for sure he was gone yesterday-
I went to get a snack and thought I must have missed
everything then. I was very upset w/ Missy-
I really wanted Jeremy to go all the way,
he was right, “the good guy lost”–
I’ll bet a million$ that he’ll be back again and would be
surprised if he doesn’t win fan favorite-

    • plainviewsue says:

Jon realized he screwed up. He never told Jeremy that he had the Idol. Jeremy went to Exile Island with the explicit reason for searching for the immunity Idol. John said to Jaclyn that Jeremy is gonna figure out that I have the Idol. That is why he told Missy he had the idol. I was beyond shocked that Jeremy went, cos I didn’t think Missy would vote against him. My two favorites are now out: Jeremy and Josh. I’m now rooting for Natalie (who I didn’t like before, but like now) and Reed.

      • NJBev says:

Thank you for clarifying that Sue.
Now it makes sense to me why Jon felt he had to get rid of Jeremy. However that doesn’t really excuse Missy.

  5. Powell says:

How fun Chismosa. I didn’t realize that was Jason until you said it. He’s a really good SIL. Seems like he’s always up for helping the Vanderpump/Todd empire. I guess one day it will be up to Max, Pandora and Jason to take over.
Really nice to hear Lisa wAs warm and engaging. She wanted to spend her time w/everyone. I don’t get when “celebs” “stars” aren’t appreciative of the people that got them where they are. Thks for the literary events 411. That sheds light on what goes into an event.
It’s nice you chatted w/ladies in line. And the B tidbits. Yes she didn’t struggle financially growing up. Remember her mom married rich men.

  6. Laineylainey says:

Way to go Chismosa! I love the pics! Getting dressed for work but wanted to stop to say hi! And thanks for going!!! Loved it!

Lady bra , I’m sorry I don’t watch survivor. But hi to you too and thanks for your contribution, have a great day everyone!

  7. TexasTart says:

Chismosa, how was the Sangria?! 🍷 Thanks so much for the review, I like the way you walked us through the line, so to speak and the chatter of the people there made it a more realistic report. I’m so happy to know that Lisa is as gracious as one would expect! I love the coat on her!

    • Yeah – how was the Sangria? Sounds like you had a good time, glad you went!

    • chismosa says:

      Hi all!!!

Thanks for posting Veena ! You didn’t edit me- LOL!
Even my shout out to my girl – Ashy–

Lisa’s actual outfit – before she put the coat on was this magnificent black jumpsuit of some sort – or a tight black top and flowy black pants – and some sort of bedazzle at the waist.
Oh and touching the blinding fur- she made me touch it— it was totally faux. A nice faux, but truly not “real”

The sangria was nice ….. Not overly sweet. Subtle. It has two flavors- the pink one and the purple -HA. I think the pink was a rosé type. That’s the one Jason handed to me 🙊

Look it’s 12$? I think it’s perfectly acceptable price-wise and the taste was nice. I AM a sucker for a sangria so I can’t give it 4 stars.

It’s funny we all only cared about seeing LISA!
I’m going to a drinks/ mix gals party Saturday night so hopefully in the city tomorrow I can find some LVP sangria – (sadly I couldn’t get any by the Queen herself :/ ) …..and
      Oh :
I did NOT I repeat, did NOT see Ramona Pinot
or Skinny Girl Blah blah blah cocktails there.
I had asked the guy about a Coppolla so i should have asked for those.
But my eyes had time to look – and I have good eyes, I didn’t see any

      • not THAT Jill says:

Loved the shout out Girlfriend!!! You’re a true bestie!!

      • Veena (NMD) says:

Loved it just the way you wrote it!

      • NJBev says:

It was so much fun to read, Chi, like I was there myself!
I loved the photo credits “Photo’s courtesy of Chimosa of”
        too cute!! 🙂

      • Powell says:

Fun fun fun! 🙂 $12 isn’t bad. I’ll have to see if it’s in my neck of the woods. I paid $14 for SG margarita and didn’t like it. My mom didn’t either. I drank it though. Hey 14 bucks. You know I drank it. How does Coppolla taste? Read Coppolla has a great winery. I want to taste Giuliani Rancic’s new wine. Interesting concept to sell them in glass servings.

      • Amber...Real Wife says:

Congratulations on your celebrity signing and sighting! Great gossip and such a great memory for you. How wonderful when celebs take their time w/ fans and show their appreciation. A2ZListCelebrities should be respectful to the people who support them because as RalphKramden said “Be kind to the people you meet on the way up… Because they’re the same kind of people you’re gonna meet on the way down!” 🙂

NEW YORK – November 20, 2014 – Bravo Media delivered record ratings on Tuesday night as the season premiere of “The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” garnered 2 million total viewers and 1.1 million P18-49, up 25 percent and 36 percent respectively from the prior season premiere (11/4/13) and marking its highest-rated season premiere in over three years among total viewers, according to Nielsen. Behind the strength of Tuesday night’s season five premiere, Bravo earned its best Tuesday prime in over two years (7/10/12) and was the #1 cable entertainment network during the 9pm hour among P18-49.”

  9. ladebra says:

Great story about meeting Lisa, Chissie! It sounds like it was fun, even if long and cold. Looks like they had a nice turn out too. And it was really interesting hearing your take on the way they handled the event – not rushing people through, and speaking and taking photos with everyone. Thanks for going and telling us all about it!

ooOoo … I can’t remember what I have cut to paste, oh yea! some comments on Brandi doing her victim routine…

“I am feeling comfort knowing Glanville is being served a plate of karma. Five years from now, she will be in the Heidi Montag world of forgotten narcissistic reality famewhores

“Perfect comparison. Like Heidi, Brandi should have accepted her “sidekick” status and waited for the opportunity to come along for drama. It’s funny that both of them turned on their friends, and received increased attention and camera time as a result….only to have it backfire in the end.”

  15. Powell says:

This is a funny article. Porsha is talking about Kenya & Cynthia this season.

  16. OMG Chismosa, did you curtsy??? Thank you for going and getting the dish!! Love it!!

LaDebra, very unhappy about last night. I knew they were going for Jeremy, they are SOOOO stupid because now they are down to 8…even numbers, what idiots…they should have flushed out the idol. I loved at the end Natalie, “What the _____ Missy?” They really blew it.. They should have waited to knock off the bozos and then they could have gone for J… Jeremy was my fav!! 😦 My PBB was saying I feel like you have been watching this show forever, it’s always tribal council and you are always yelling at them for being stupid….I said, “yeah, just about” lol!!

    • ladebra says:

I hear you! I liked Jeremy. He didn’t seem too overly confident, he was playing the game, he was successful and got Josh voted out… He had his group and was loyal to them. Meh. I think Jon’s game just saw an opportunity to get him out since he didn’t win the individual immunity and Jon took the blindside. If Jon plays the middle just right he might get to the end game. Not sure he can win with the jury though.

Hey ! MTH — I can’t remember what I’m walking across the room for — but I think you are very very close to heading back home! If so, happy homecoming !!

  17. VV™ says:

Great Blog!!! I’m so glad you met the Queen 👑💗 Bow your heads!
I knew you were a Pandy fan, so glad you met her and Jason. LVP Sangria is their business venture. Lisa is loaning her name and support to them.
I cannot believe you still went and I’m so glad you had a great experience.
Lisa is a class act. She’s a extremely intelligent, beautiful and kind business woman and that’s why she’s my favorite HW. Well, she owns Giggy that helps too 😉 I’m glad she didn’t disappoint and was gracious to all her fans at her apperance.

Beverly Hills Darling Shi Shi Shi Shi Shi!

LADebra, I’m glad I read your recap because now I won’t watch the episode. I was rooting for. Jeremy and knew he was going next. Oh well.

Great great write up Chimosa!!!! I loved it and felt like I was there!! Thanks and shared in 3 spots!! ❤

  21. Barb (Just Wondering In Jersey) says:

Chismosa thanks so much for your play by play account of your meeting with royalty. I felt like I was standing beside you the whole time. I especially liked your mentioning that Lisa is left handed. I have never noticed that on screen. And brawling Bethenny LOL. Thanks for enduring the cold for us. You are appreciated.

  22. plainviewsue says:

Chismosa, I am so jelly!!! What a great write up. Like the others said, I felt like we were all there with you!! I’m glad to know she was so warm to everyone. Pandora is stunning in the pictures.

  23. chismosa says:

    Thanks for the love yall.

    Ok, 😁coming clean—-> here’s ME!

No need to follow or blah blah blah.

  24. Powell says:

Shahs is on. Is their season soon?

  25. not THAT Jill says:

Felicia you blog is FAB and I love it!!!
I must tell you that I went to one of Teresa’s book signings and she was very personable and talked to EVERYONE! I was actually losing my patience-which is not a surprise-because I felt like the line wasn’t moving at all!! Of course when it was my turn I took my time and chatted forever!! My little sis was with me and she was VERY pregnant at the time and Teresa’s couldn’t get enough of her-asking if it was a boy or girl and asking if she had a name picked out. She personalized both of our books-I need to find mine and take a pic! Joe was with her and even took the camera from my sis to take our pics and Teresa asked to see the picture then redid her lip gloss and made Joe take another one-I don’t know where your gossip girls saw Teresa but the venue where I went was smallish so that might make a difference?
Anyway enough about me ( a nod to Lainey❤️) back to celebrating YOU!!!

    • TexasTart says:

Jill, I would have expected Teresa to be gracious, so thank you for sharing your experience! Giggling about the touch up on the lips and asking Joe to take another, ha! 💄💋

    • Powell says:

JNNTJ it could’ve been a one off w/what the gossip girl experienced.

    • Exit4 says:

Teresa was nice at the signing I went to as well. Took a picture with my oldest-he was on her website and called “the new juicy joe” (which was the joke at the signing). She was only as chatty as the person she was talking to. If they didn’t say much neither did she. She’s also much prettier in person!

      • TexasTart says:

Cool! Thanks for sharing that and how amazing to be the inside joke “the new juicy joe”!

        • Exit4 says:

I have the pic on FB-if I email it to you or Veena can you post it? If you want to. Teresa’s sight isn’t up anymore. It’s from 4 years ago! Her handler asked what his name was-and I told her Joseph-then I made the juicy Joe comment. When it was our turn, she said it to teresa and we all laughed. I asked if she’d take the pic with him and when he went around-she was very sweet and asked if he wanted to sit in her lap. He got right up! It was cute.

Veena hope you don’t mind I sent the blog to Pandora, it’s just i had told her I would- so if she could associate me with that on Twitter, thought itd be good.

Also I just want to be her BFF. So, I have to start somewhere ……;)

  30. TexasTart says:

I meant to comment yesterday on the BH and VPR blog to say I wish they would have made the majority of the show at Kyle’s party or showed more of the Pump opening. Wouldn’t have killed them to do that, would it?! I thought it was criminal that James the fired busser and Kristen got more screen time than Lisa in that particular episode. The only fellow HW’s I saw were Joyce Girard. Did you catch Lisa’s son Max was on the episode? When she had the SUR staff meeting at Pump and fired James – hello, dude you were fired! you don’t work here! – afterwards, James and Kristen talked with Max outside.

thank youLaDebra for the blog!! – who was the one who went through Keith’s things? I want him gone – that was awful to do – and everyone might want to consider that their things are fair game too if he stays on – mostly I want Missy gone – Baylor next – Jon wanted Jeremy out to cover himself for not revealing that he had the idol to Jeremy – I also think that he didn’t like his girl being ignored at camp while he was gone – aww poor baby *giant eye roll* – but that is not a good enough reason to vote – I am sorry to see Jeremy go and now I am down to rooting for Keith and – Natalie – of all people – so annoying!!!!

Chismosa! – LOVED your recap, and I am so happy for you!! – glad the experience was a good one and I am not at all surprised that Lisa and her daughter were nothing but gracious to everyone – loved the gossip too – I am also now following you on twitter! – Pandora looked gorgeous – truly her Mother’s daughter – so glad you gave a shout out to this blog!! soo cool and like Orson, I knew you when!! hmmm – good to see it from an insider’s vantage point too – thanks again –

p.s. – don’t worry about keeping the furs – they carry the memories of your family – cherish them – and I agree with Orson – those little creatures are nasty!!

Brandi thinks Bravo added sound effects to the “slap” that she gives Lisa-also she had a Bravo “handler” close by who told when to STFU!!

    • VV™ says:

Lisa manipulated Brandi’s hand into slapping Lisa. Lisa also manipulated Bravo’s editors into adding sound effect to the slap.

      • Powell says:

Yup. There Lisa goes again. Tsk. Is Brandi getting fired over this slap? Lisa should’ve stopped w?the poor Brandi and sued her for assault.

      • not THAT Jill says:

I KNEW IT VV!! I bet Lisa mind controlled Brandi and made her give her a fresh crack right in the face!! That sounds like a solid Brandi story right????

      • Exit4 says:

I definitely agree they probably added a sound effect. They’d have to-like when Ramona hit Kristen with the glass. 🍸

        • VV™ says:

Sound effect or not. She slapped Lisa.

          • Exit4 says:

Oh absolutely! No question! Brandi is horrible-but to get the full effect of the slap, they’d have to add in sound. You probably couldn’t hear it otherwise and of course the dramatics of it.

    • Powell says:

She says she she has 85,000 regrets. Does the stuff every season. They all do. I don’t think so. Brandi’s all in a class by herself.

    Re Gia:

I know, a touchy topic because everyone loves her. But here goes. I never understood the financial model with videos, like the one her group made and the one they’re trying to crowdfund. I guess I can see making one to promote record/album/song sales, but how does a cover group like Gia’s make any money from making one? Do they get some fraction of a cent every time someone watches it on YouTube? It cost them $10K to make it. How many views do they need before they start showing a profit? My nephew made several CDs with his band. They paid for studio time and making the CDs with the money they made performing and touring. And selling previous CDs to pay for making the next one. They didn’t go “crowdfunding”.

Okay, that’s off my chest now. Fire away!

    • Exit4 says:

The videos give them exposure and gauge interest in them-because you can measure views. There’s no money in it. I don’t know why people are complaining about using gofundme. The Verinica Mars movie was made entirely from gofundme money. Independent filmmakers use it all the time. Musicians, all kinds of artists use it to fund projects. This is an acceptable way now, but a lot of people (who would even know who Gia was b/c of housewives) probably haven’t heard of it until This and have to make it a THING.

Gofundme is a little weird when people ask for non artistic things. One of the Brandi bunch needed a new set of teeth and all the Brandi bunchers we’re donating. Brandi sent her some autographed books to sell to get her new Chompers! I don’t know if she did…it was on Twitter.

      • HuskerHuny says:

Maybe Gia should be thinking about funding her future education. The percentage of her ever, ever, EVER making any sustainable living by doing music and videos is about .00001 percent. However, her education will be forever. Unfortunately, her parents preferred spending their stolen money on luxuries instead of investing in their children’s future. I just want someone in the lives of these four girls who will teach them an honest days work and getting an education that you can use to make your own money. Show business is a pipe dream. Look at all of the has beens and never weres. Can’t those dollars be better invested in something that has a solid future?

        • Orson says:

I think her training has been “Look good, so you’ll get a husband who’ll support you.”

        • Exit4 says:

Can you imagine the outcry is there was a gfm asking to fund Gia’s college!? Lol. Nothing is going to come of this musically, like you said. But-it’s what she wants to try, for whatever reason. She’s got enough crap in her life-let the kid be happy. People just won’t seperate her from her mother-it’s very unfair.

Plus, the beauty of gfm is that you don’t have to participate! People can ask-if someone chooses to give, that’s their thing. If you don’t want to-don’t. Why complain? Just don’t give! I’m not giving them anything-but God bless, if that’s what someone chooses to use their money for.

  36. Exit4 says:

Chis! Awesome write up! Aren’t signings crazy? I love your name-very Greek! 😉

Thumbs up for representing the blog so well. Enjoy your new bestie Lisa! Next time, take Jill with you!

The thing with Adrienne Maloof is that she’ll be kissing and singing you praises and then bernie her cook does the dirty work. I don’t trust Adrienne until she comes clean about bernie.
I wonder if Lisa’s remarks about AM had something to do with bernie. He blocked me on FB. I have no clue if he mentioned anything about Adrienne’s appearance on the show and WWHL. If anybody has access to his FB page, please go spy. 😁

    • Exit4 says:

I wonder sometimes if it’s just a matter of not being able to control what Bernie says. And is firing him really an option? It’s a strange situation, but I also don’t believe all these women spend their time plotting against lisa!

  43. ramonacoaster says:

Wow Chismosa! Sounds like you had a lot of fun meeting the Queen. It’s so cool that she tweeted you. I followed you too btw. I chuckled when I read the line for Lisa wrapped around the store. Once I was at Costco and some good looking teen boy came up to tell me that Adrienne Maloof would be signing bottles at the liquor store next door and handed me a card. I saw that her signing would start at 4pm which was in 5 minutes so I figured might as well pass by to see if anyone was there and check out what kind of pinot grigio they had in stock. No one was there, no line wrapped around the store. I waited until 10 min after and no Adrienne so I decided to leave because my ice cream was melting. Heavens forbid! She tweeted a pic of the event later that day but it was just her marketing guys and the store employees. No fans.

    • Orson says:

Wow. Talk about a reality check for Adrienne.

    • Exit4 says:

Ramona did a signing by me a few years ago-I got there in the middle and it was very poorly attended. I was surprised. She is very beautiful in person-stunning in fact-but not warm. She was on her phone a lot and not engaged. She was nice-her wine is actually decent-but it was the complete opposite of Teresas signing. Around the same time-the Manzos/Lauritas did a signing at my Wegmans. The line was wrapped around the store. I didn’t (and wouldn’t) wait-but I saw them behind the ropes and they were all having a blast with the fans. Very lively! It was caroline, jac, Chris, Albie, Chris Manzo and greggy. I remember on bethenneys show-no one showed up for her Costco signing and her and Jason shopped. I think it’s so random-where they are and when-it’s such a small niche audience! You just never know!

Meanwhile, Gia is giving interviews to the press and taking questions about her parents going to prison. She’s 13. Instead of shielding their kid from the spotlight, press and scrutiny, they’re driving her to the interviews.

      • Orson says:

Maybe Gia is going to be the new Kim Richards. No, not the incoherent addict, but the child celebrity who supports her family. That’d be a damned shame, IMO. I should have mentioned this on my Re Gia post upthread. Or should it be “upblog”?

    • Orson says:

They just finished airing the reunion for season 6. What’s the rush for season 7? Yeah, waiting for Tre to get out is an option. So is pulling the plug on the show. Or they can try something new with it, like casting women who are friends and really get along with each other.

      Nah, never happen.
