Reviewing the cast blogs for Real Housewives of Atlanta is like trying to read Moby Dick – there is a lot of boring stuff in there before you get to any action. I have to basically force myself to go to Bravo’s awful new website and slog through their posts looking for something of interest. The ladies must hate blogging, because even though some intern throws them softball questions to help with their blogging, most of the time they don’t even bother submitting a blog.
Cynthia is the exception, but she’s run out of things to say. This week she tells us she’s moved on from the NeNe situation (this has to be the longest break up in housewife history) and that she supports Peter and his decision to locate Bar One in Atlanta’s historic black district. I’m all for economic renewal in forgotten inner-city neighborhoods, but are there enough people there for customers? Time will tell.
NeNe blogged to brag about how she was being real when she snubbed everyone at Kandi’s party. Apparently NeNe can not be fake. But she does remind us that she’s a fabulous actress and made her part on Cinderella her own – a slight dig at Sherri Shepherd who had the part before NeNe. I don’t know about the rest of you, but while I wish NeNe success, I wish she’d just be a little more gracious. NJBev told us that NeNe was great with her fans (most of them young children) signing autographs at the show’s stage door, so let’s see more of that NeNe and less of NayNay.
Kandi blogged finally. She explained that she was in a great place with Sharon before Sharon passed, but it’s been hard to watch the show and see all the family fighting. She’s also found it hard to find the energy/enthusiasm to do much of anything lately, which is why she didn’t go to NY to see NeNe’s show, even though she had been planning to go. She did see the show before NeNe was in it – and for that has taken some hits.
Phaedra blogged about receiving her award. She is very good at submitting a blog and meeting her obligation to Bravo, but saying absolutely nothing. Waste of time.
Dimetria also blogged. She basically called Kandi’s friend a Ho for sleeping with Roger Bobb. What does that make Roger Bobb? I hate double standards. STFU Dimetria. You wanted to be on the show. Roger Bobb’s infidelities are your storyline! PS – they were on a break.
Both Claudia and Kenya turned their blogs in on Sunday afternoon between 5 and 6. Bad ladies. Kenya’s was the same old same old – NeNe doesn’t like me and I’ve done nothing to deserve it sort of thing. Big yawn.
But Claudia. Now this girl’s blog is full of evidence to prove that she and NeNe go back a looooong way – proving that NeNe was indeed rude for giving her the cold shoulder at Kandi’s event. Apparently NeNe reached out to her in 2009 to ask her to take over a hosting gig for Charles Grant because NeNe could no longer do it. Remember that call Kim Zolciak made to NeNe on the WWHL aftershow – Kim outed NeNe for having an affair with Charles Grant. It made all the tabloids. Shortly after that Marlo Hampton – who happened to be engaged to Charles – joined the show as a friend of the housewives. NeNe turned the table on Bravo and ‘adopted’ Marlo, and no dirt was spilled. Marlo of course turned out to be a bridesmaid from h e double hockey sticks, and NeNe washed her hands of her a few years ago. Anyhow, Claudia showed up to host the gig and found out NeNe was in Atlanta that weekend – and she never found out why NeNe bowed out of hosting. Tea served with a side of revenge.
Tonight Claudia and NeNe will read each other, while Phaedra will throw shade at Dimitrea. It’s a housewife extravaganza. Let’s Chat!
